people who are psychic mediums that come out.

That's Cindy Hagley. In our first episode, we talked to
her about how she came to be the go to
real estate agent for stigmatized properties. What we left out
of the episode is how real estate agents like her
approach cleansing a home of bad energy before they put
the home on the market. Here's what you told us
about cleansing homes.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
So the first thing we try to do is identify
what's going on. Is it an entity that is passed
in a home or the share in Tate House? For instance,
there is a home next door of the old Tate
House that is haunted, and the first thing we need
to do is identify what that entity is and why
they are still there. If they were killed or died

(01:00):
in the home, then that makes sense. Once we identify
the spirit, we try to find out why they are
still lingering. Is their unfinished business? Are they trying to
get in touch with a relative or someone they loved.
Do they not realize they have passed or have they
not passed completely? So once we ascertain that, then we

(01:21):
will help the spirit pass over to where they need
to be, to their loved ones on the other side.
And if it's evil, we will try to resolve them
and ask them to leave.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
But Cindy told me there's been instances where the entities
didn't want to leave, and that's what she brings in
the big guns.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
If they don't, then we deal with people who are
quite powerful. There are exorcists out there that can come in.
I will not be present for an exorcism that scares
the crap out of me. I grew up in the
hills of West Virginia on a Pentecostal and I believe
in the power of energy and evil, and I won't
be present for that. But that's how a space is cleansed.
