The real estate market has never been hotter, but there is one kind of property that often sits on the market for years, no matter how much of a bargain it seems to be. In real estate jargon, it’s called a “stigmatized property” because a horrible death occurred there. Each week, Murder Homes tells the story of a single stigmatized property. Who lived there? What secrets did they keep, and what did they leave behind? Take a walk down the street with host Matt Marinovich to the house everyone whispers about and step inside to hear the shocking story of a day that is still frozen in time.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
In every town, at the end of a quiet, tree
lined street, there's one house that looks the same, but
everyone knows is different. My name is Matt Marinovich, and
I've been obsessed by homes that are stigmatized forever by
the brutal crimes that happened inside four walls. All across
the country. There are addresses I'll introduce you to that
you'll never forget. One O four to three Ocean Boulevard.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
You just don't hear about women hanging themselves, especially outside,
and especially not naked, and especially not bound and especially
not gagged.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
When twenty four Glenwood Avenue.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
At the end of murdering all the people on the earth,
I was going to murder my own family and then
take my own life and become God and the experts
that know them best.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Oh, I stage homes all the time. If I have
somebody swinging from a chandelier in the dining room, that
dining room is going to be staged to the tee.

Speaker 5 (00:56):
Infamous homes one so I was back in a bedroom
is a little still inser. Girls were murdered, and I
got this really cold feeling on my arm.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Ghost homes and even my home I see a woman,
and then there's.

Speaker 5 (01:10):
A little boy.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Death houses that haunt towns to this day, even if
the crimes are decades old, and maybe one closer to
you than you ever knew. Take a walk with me
down the street to the house everyone whispers about, and
step inside to hear the shocking story of a day
that is still frozen in time.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
I actually felt barrel of a gun on my head.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Because a murder home is almost always two things, the
place a family felt safest and the last place on
earth they expected to be hunted down.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
You know it's a cruel world.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
