Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice for sure. It's time. Hello and Lo, Hello, welcome
to the Naughty but Nicsham you host Rob Shooter, and
it's Wednesday. Normally, our dear friend Donnie Meacham joins us
on a Wednesday, but he's off today. He has work commitments,
so as well as doing this fabulous podcast, we all
have other jobs and so sometimes there is a conflict

(00:31):
and so I totally respect that. Donnie. We love you
and we will see you next week. Let's jump into
ash show. What time is it, my friends? It is
d time. Big story at the top of the show.
So Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour is not selling and now
tick keep prices have been slashed. So hours before the

(00:52):
first night of her Cowboycotter tour in La she played
a massive stage and I think she's doing three or
four nights there, thousands of tickets were still available and
this made the ticket price crash to as low as
twenty dollars. Now, this is where it gets really interesting.
Fans who forked out over one thousand dollars during pre

(01:13):
sales to get a seat. And I'm feeling really angry
about this. You think buying really expensive seats is the
way to go get your tickets of free sale. However,
when you see a seat that you paid a thousand
dollars for going for twenty dollars, it's really really infuriating.

(01:35):
I've never had this happen to me. I never buy
the expensive seats. They're just way, way too much expensive.
They're out of my my budget. But I have got
some friends who really really like one single, one artist,
and they're willing to pay top dollar to see him
or her. Then if they had waited, if they had waited,
and that's the gamble, the ticket prices are reduced. It's

(01:56):
this new thing in concerts and Broadway shows where they
put ticket prices out really high at first, ridiculously high,
and then if they don't sell, they lower them, and
if they don't sell, they keep lowering them. Well, let
me give you give you a little bit of advice here.
Most most shows do not sell out. So the longer

(02:18):
you can wait, and I know it's difficult, particularly if
you really love somebody, the better deal you're gonna get.
You know, I love Madonna. I've told you about it
a million times. But I'm not paying eight hundred dollars.
I'm not paying six hundred dollars. I'm not paying four
hundred dollars to see her, So her last concert I
just wasn't gonna go to. I'd made peace with the

(02:38):
fact I'm not spending all that money, and then a
day before the show it had not sold out, the
ticket prices were slashed. I think I got a great
seat for one hundred and fifty dollars, which is still
a lot of money, but it's not one thousand dollars.
If you can wait, If you can wait, you will
get a deal. What does it feel like? Has this
happened to you. I've had friends who have paid a

(03:00):
lot of money to see theater. Most of my friends
do not really go to that many pop concerts. They
like theater, but they spent a lot of money to
buy a theater ticket and then they find out the
seat next to them is half price. It's infuriating, isn't it.
But that's the gamble of life. There's nothing you can
do about that. And they're breaking no laws. This is
totally allowed. What do you think should there be a law?
Should we have one price and that's it? Or no?

(03:23):
You can't do that, not in a democracy and a
free capitalist economy. You can charge whatever you want. These
are private individuals, they're private businesses. Madonna is a business,
John bon Jovi is a business. Rod Stewart, Lady Gaga
our businesses, and so is Beyonce. So they can target
their ticket price, make it up, make it lower. The

(03:44):
airlines do this. If you want to travel on a holiday,
they jack the price up. If you want to travel
at a time a year where nobody travels, the price
is lower. I'm experiencing this at the moment. My sister's daughter,
Paris and my niece Paris is getting married, getting married
at Christmas, the most expensive time of the year to

(04:05):
get a ticket. So I went on to the British
Airways website and everybody else, American Airline United, and I've
had that. The tickets get literally increased in price just
two days before I want to go. I've got no
choice that they're stuck. So they're going to make a
lot of money out to be able to buy a
really cheap seat. Don't worry about that. But what do
you think of that? Is it drives me mad? Does

(04:27):
it drive you mad too? And what about Beyonce? Insiders
tell me she's still Beyonce. Maybe the days of her
fans paying unlimited amount of money are over, but she's
still a huge hit. And let's remember she's not playing
Radio City, she's playing a stadium. Radio City is big.
I'm not dishing it at all. I have some friends
who have performed there. I've got a comedian friend who's

(04:48):
performing there in a couple of months. And it's about
six five six thousand cities. Beyonce's playing seventy eighty thousand.
She's playing the same size venues as Taylor Swift, and
they look packed. I had friends who were there last
night and they said it it didn't look empty. But
if you did on their website. That's the other thing.
Now ticket Master you can see everything. The old days,
when you used to get tickets, you never really know

(05:10):
what were selling, what was wasn't selling. You never really knew.
Now you can go on ticket Master and I'd promise you,
if you want to see a Broadway show tonight, ninety
nine percent of them will have a single ticket, maybe
two single tickets. They might not be in the best seats,
maybe they are. That's the other thing, too, a little secret.
All these shows on Broadway and all these concerts have

(05:32):
something in the business known as house seats, hou s,
e sea t s. House seats. These are seats that
are reserved for the VIPs, for the authors, for friends
of the artists, and often they reserve a lot of them.
They're the best seats and they're not on sale. You
and me can never buy these seats. They're reserved for

(05:53):
friends of Lady Gagar, for friends of Beyonce. Well quite
often these stars don't have all the friends you think
they do. And a couple of days before the performances,
I think it's twenty four hours, they release them to
the public. So if an artist, an author, as somebody
that's on Broadway, if they have not claimed those seats
twenty four hours before, those seats are released to the public,

(06:14):
and these are the best seats, they're held back. So
if you can wait twenty four hours before a show,
go on to ticket Master and there's again there'd be
some really great seats available. Now. The risk here is
that is not always the case. If you're looking for
a cheap Taylor Swift ticket, yeah I'm gonna get one.
If you're looking for a cheap or available Taylor's Swift
house seat, impossible, not gonna be there. But if people

(06:36):
like Beyonce have seats available, then Deeole like Rod Stuard
have seats available too. So the next time you rush
out to buy a ticket, I get it. You love
this artist, you want to see them. Next time you
think like that, take a moment, take a month, and
I promise you the price will go down, Which brings

(06:57):
us to a question of the day. Beyonce's Cowboy Carter
tour is not selling and they've slashed the prices. Are
cheap last minute tickets fair to fans who have played
full price? Would you rather have somebody sit next to
you in a good seat for half price or the
seat be empty? Oh it's a good question, isn't it.

(07:21):
What is that? Is that petty? Is that mean to
say I want it to be empty? But if I've
paid full price? I think sitting next to me for
half prize they would drive me in saying what do
you think are cheap last minute tickets fair to fans? Hey?

check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Moving along,
Mega Mickle is swearing that she will be married forever
to Prince Harry, but some insiders are not so sure.
So she appeared on her first podcast, and she's shutting
down all the speculation about divorce, insisting that she and
Harry will be married forever. So she was actually asked
point blank by Jamie Kerr Lema if she's going to

(08:07):
stay married forever. Megan beamed and immediately responded yes. She said, quote,
he's a fox. Harry's a fox if you haven't noticed,
My husband's very, very handsome, but his heart is even
more beautiful. So the Duchess appeared makeup free in sweatpants,
looking really casual. It's a great conversation. Check it out
if you've got a minute. This question took me. Took

(08:28):
me by surprise. It's such a direct question. She also
adds none of this. She calls Harry h h That
man loves me so much. She said, We've built a
beautiful life together and we have two healthy and beautiful children. Now,
insiders are saying that although behind the scenes things are good,

(08:49):
they're maybe not as good as Meghan makes out, and
every marriage has issues, every relationship does, and the rumors
about her getting divorced. They are not true, but my
insiders say that it is. It's a process. It's not easy,
particularly when you marry somebody who was born a prince,
somebody who's entitled and used to everybody saying yes. It's
been a real adjustment for the two of them. They

(09:12):
are determined to make this work, but it has been
a challenge. Now. Meghan seems to be reluctant to admit
any problems, and I get it. If people constantly say
you're going to get divorced, you don't want to give
them any ammunition, do you. However, I do think it's
a chance to be really, really honest. You know. I
know relationships are difficult, and there's good days, there's bad days.

(09:36):
There's good moments, and there's bad moments. And so although
I do believe Meghan, I absolutely do, and I hope
she's right. I hope they are together forever. I believe
in love. I also think that it might have been
maybe smart, maybe a good opportunity, maybe a moment where
we could think Meghan was so authentic when she talks
about sometimes it is a struggle, which it certainly is,

(09:58):
and there's nothing wrong with that. A great relationship is
Victoria Beckham, who is loosting handsome husband David after he
wore a tragic outfit to go gardening. She said that
she looked at this really cute guy in her garden
doing the radishes. Is anything more romantic than that? He
had a great T shirt on, khaki shorts, he had

(10:20):
socks on and an orange beanie and so she said
to him, what are you wearing? And he said, are
you I look nice? And she said, you do look nice,
but you do know that you were married to a
fashion icon, right, David was a good sport and he
laughed out loudly, said, I am. These two have been
married for twenty five years. They have had their ups

(10:42):
and downs, cheting scandals, lots of drama, but they are
the real real deal. One is really getting pus there today.
He's not David nothing he said. But what Victoria said.
People in the fashion world, I've worked for many of
the big fashion houses and they're tough. They really are.
There's full of really met people in them. They're saying,
it's really weird that she thinks she's a fashion icon.

(11:03):
I think she was making a joke. I think she
said it. If you watch the video with a little
bit of a wing. However, some people in fashion are
saying she is not done a televisageny. She is not guccy.
She needs to calm down. Well, I say, fashion community,
you calm down. It was a funny, silly thing to say, Victoria.

(11:24):
You are just cue okay, moving along. Justin bell Dony
has demanded legal documents, legal documents from Marvel. Let me explain.
So Justin bell Doney is not letting up, and now
he's taking the fight straight to Marvel and Disney over
what he claims to be a thinly veiled attack by

(11:47):
Ryan Reynolds in the latest Deadpool and Wolverine blockbuster. So,
according to exclusive new legal filings obtained by My good self,
Justin is demanding that Marvel coughed documents about the creation
of the Nice Paul, not Deadpool, nice Pool character. This
is a character that Ryan added. It was quite funny.

(12:09):
It was a little video. It was very very cute.
Now he claims that this character was specifically created to
mock and humiliate him after Blake Lively accused him of
fat shaming and sexual harassment during the disastrous It Ends
with Us shoot in the Deadpool and Wolverene Wolverine clip.
Ryan plays a character that most people think is Justin,

(12:32):
and he delivers a line about feminism, and he said,
where in God's name is the intimacy coordinator? So at
the time that this was released, people were sort of outraged.
They said that if Justin had sexually sexually harassed his wife,
sexually abused his wife, he probably wouldn't be making fun
of it to sell his movie. And so now Justin

(12:56):
wants all this documentation. Sources tell me that my Disney
big companies around Ryan Reynolds want this to go away.
He is under Blake is under tremendous pressure to settle this.
Forget Taylor Swift, forget Hugh Jackman. Now Marvel's involved, now

(13:18):
Disney's involved. It is just so ugly, It is just
so messy. This is going nowhere unless unless Blake and
Ryan consider settle in okay quickly before we get a
break a beautiful story. William and Kate celebrated their fourteen
years of marriage. Fourteen years can you believe it's flew

(13:38):
by with a secret escaped to Scotland. So fourteen years
after getting married at the iconic Westminster Abbey. I remember
the day William and Kate are celebrating quietly, far from
the flashballs of London and all the palies drama, in
a romantic rural escape to Scotland. The Prince and the
Princess of Wales, as the Duke and the Duchess of

(14:01):
Rossa say in Scotland, they were all smiles when they
touched down in a very colorful fishing village on the
Isle of Mull. These two looked really in sinct. Sources
tell me there was no pomp, no circumstances. It was
just two people reconnecting. Lots of people came out to
welcome them. And this trip is the most significant royal

(14:22):
outing for Kate since her very public battle with cancer
that began in twenty twenty four, and insiders say it
was William who planned every detail to ensue that she
was celebrated and cherished. They said, this anniversary is personal.
It's not about headlines, it's not about tradition. It's about resilience,

(14:42):
devotion and giving Kate a moment of peace. Let me
remind you that they met in Scotland. They met. Their
love story began at Saint Andrew's University, said that this
trip is full of nostalgia looking back. Friends of the
couple tell me this was the last moment that they
were just William and k This was before they were
a duke or duchess, or prince or princess. This is

(15:04):
when they were just William and Kate in this beautiful
little university town, Saint Andrew's really away from the spotlight,
and this is where they fell in love. They could
have gone anywhere on their anniversary, Let's face it, price
is no issue. They could have gone to Paris, they
could have gone to Rome, they could have done anything.
They chose to go back to Scotland, to the place

(15:25):
where it all started. Ah. I went to university in Edinburgh.
I was there for four or five years. I loved it.
One of the most magical cities, magical places in the world. Okay,
we're gonna take a quick break and we will be
right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nic shall
have your host of shooter. Hey, let's get to the
polls the Dull. Last show, we talked about Travis Kelsey

(15:50):
who has unfollowed Ryan Reynolds on Instagram. Is this a
bad sign? So Travis is dating Taylor Swift. Ryan is
married to Blake Lively. Insiders tell me that Travis and
Ryan never really got along there. Okay, there's no drama there.
That hate each other, but they weren't best friends. They

(16:11):
hung out because their girlfriend and their wife were best friends,
and so they tags along with the two ladies, but
they were never actually that close themselves. Now Travis has
unfelowed Ryan and people are saying, oh, what is going
on here? Is it a good sign or a bad sign?
Eighty five percent said this is a bad sign. I agree.

(16:32):
Don't forget to vote on today's Paul Going to Act
twit top page had naughty nice rama or our Facebook
page which is naughty GASSIAPM. Be sure to check back
tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's time for
and Noisiest of the Day. So we had a little
bit of bad news at the top of the show
with Beyonce not selling so great, not terrible, but not great.

(16:52):
Lots of tickets have been reduced in price, and that's
making people who paid full price really really angry. Well,
there nicest of the days Beyonce too, because she brought
her daughters out on stage as surprise during the show.
So Blue Ivy and Roomy were at the show, proving
the Carter family really is the first family of music.
So Beyonce pulled the ultimate showstopper at her Cowboycotter kickoff

(17:15):
in Los Angeles on Monday night by bringing out not one,
but both of her daughters onto the stage. Queen Bee
stunned fans when she introduced her twelve year old twelve
now Blue Ivy and her seven year old Roomy, and
they had a really powerful performance of her track Protector,
sending the audience into apsolute chaos, screaming and shouting. Blue

(17:41):
Ivy is a seasoned performer at this point because she
joined her mom on her last tour. Remember that on
the Renocence tour she confidently took the stage, and she's
done it again. But this is the first time we
see a little Roomy and she stole the show, and
everyone's saying she's an absolute natural and that this was
a major, major, fabulous moment. Beyonce was on stage for

(18:02):
almost three hours thirty six songs. However, the loudest cheers
of the night did not come for Beyonce or her costumes,
or her backup dancers or even these big hits. It
came and the Carter Girls stepped into the spotlight on
their mummu's biggest stage yet nicest of the day, And
now I naught is the day? Naughty, naughty, naughty Stacy

(18:24):
London and Clinton Kelly Remember them from What Not to Wear? Well,
they're back, however, and they're not back with the new
show because they're new friends. They're back to God to
play check. So, twelve years after their iconic fashion makeover
show What Not to Wear, after that went away, they
are back with a chigly titled where whatever the f
you want? Good groups gracious, it's got eight episodes. They

(18:45):
all dropped on Prime Video. They have zero interest now
in telling everybody what to wear, and frankly, there are
no rules anymore. These two fell out, They had a
really big falling out, and they hadn't spoken for about
five years, and they are offered to make this return.
I'm told they're in a better place. They're no longer

(19:05):
screaming and shouting at each other, but down for one minute,
think they are friends. This is about the fine shack
and aod what don't be fooled? Okay, everybody, lets one
with their own a rub. You're gonna rub, you get
a rob. This year, I'm choosing what makes me happy, unapologetically.
I'm done explaining, I'm done shrinking, I'm done living by

(19:29):
someone else's expectations. This year, I'm doing whatever makes me
genuinely happy, not what looks good, not what pleases others,
and not what feels safe. Joy is my goal and
peace is the plan, and I'm not apologizing for it,

(19:49):
not now, not ever. Hey, that is it for today.
Thank you so much for listening. They Naughty but Nice
