Speaker 1 (00:08):
It's he and alone. Hello, welcome to the Naughty Vanniciam
your host, rough Shooter, and it's Thursday, which means our
dear friend Mark Loopo joins us. Hey, Loopy, are you there?
Loopy Louis? Hello, Hey, Loopy, I can see you because
(00:29):
I cut my eyes done. You look so much different
now I look exactly to say, but I look exactly
to say, but you look marvelous because now I can
see I hadn't done on Tuesday. Mark, It is now Thursday,
and it feels great. I can see in two days.
It's a miracle.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
You're a new person.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
I'm a new person. Although now I'm such a nosy person.
I'm curious on how much I've been missing out on.
I mean, Mark, I haven't been able to see in
five years. Now, with this big nose and these big eyes,
I feel I come the wolf, the little Red riding home.
I could see you, I could smell you. Watch out
New York. Okay, let's jump into the show. What time
(01:07):
is it, my friends? It is tea time big story
at the top of the show. So this story is
blowing up. We've talked about Blake Lively having drama on
the set of It Ends with Us with handsome Justin
belldone well so far, it seems to be a lot
of digs towards him, but he's hired a crisis pr person,
so now the tide is turning a little bit. Today's
(01:30):
story is that Blake felt fat shamed during a very
uncomfortable kissing scene with Justin on the set. Let me explain.
So Blake had multiple reasons to be uncomfortable on the
set of It Ends with Us with her co star. However,
sources with direct knowledge are saying tensions arose from a
(01:51):
scene where he had to pick her up, so he
had to lift her in the air. If you've seen
the movie, oh, it's very dramatic. He lifts her up well.
Justin suffers with back problems. I didn't know that he
has a long history with back problems. When you look
at him, he's so gorgeous in his six pack abs,
it's hard to think of him as having any problems,
(02:12):
but he does. He has back problems. So before the scene,
he allegedly consulted an onset trainer about how to lift
Blake in such a way that he wouldn't hurt himself.
He wanted to avoid injury. If ever, you go and
work out with a professional trainer and a gym, not
only do they motivate you, but they also teach you
(02:33):
how to do the exercises in a safe way, so
you don't pull a muscle, bend your knees, bend your legs,
all that stuff that they teach you. So he was like,
how can I lift her onto this counter and not
hurt my back? Well, that story got back to Blake
and she took it the wrong way. She thought she
was being fat shamed, and she was particularly sensitive. I
(02:54):
understand this because she'd just give them birth to their
fourth child, her fourth child with Ryan Reynolds in February.
What do you think, Mark, Is this just a environment
problem that was going to be solved by the help
of a professional, by a trainer, by a consultant on
the set, or is this fat shaming? You know?
Speaker 2 (03:14):
I think it to keep in mind the context of
where we are in society and how sensitive everything is.
And so when making a movie and there's you know,
there's a scene where you're intimately and Boblessman, whether it's
you're kissing or you're touching, there's an intimacy coordinator who
is also on the set to make sure that everyone
is comfortable with what's happening. And so I think in
this instance, I think he's just trying to do his job.
(03:37):
He's making sure that he one can pick her up,
but also that he doesn't drop her or hurt her.
It's not I don't think it's about fat shaming.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
It's easy to get insulted, though. I have an example
of this where Elvis around my friend Elvis on Z
one hundred. They have a float every gay pride and
Elvis is meant to ride this float, but he couldn't
because he had some other commitments. So we asked if
I would fill in with him, and I'm sure the
crowd it was very disappointed they got Rob Shooter instead
of mister rabb. However, it was a float that had
(04:07):
a rocket on it, and out of the end of
the rocket it shop glitter. It was a very elaborate,
fabulous thing. And I got a call from the people
behind the float who asked me how much do I
weigh because they want me to sit in the rocket.
But if I weigh more than one hundred and like
fifty pounds, it was nothing mark I'd be too heavy right, Well,
(04:30):
of course I weigh more than one hundred and fifty pounds,
And at for a second I could have taken it
the wrong way. For a second I felt like, oh, Rob,
you're such a fatty. You're too fat to fit into
the rocket. And then I was like, Oh, don't be ridiculous.
It's a fun thing to do. Put that to one side.
It's going to be a great day. But I could
have gone their mark.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
I mean, you certainly could have. And I'm speaking more
to I as being a producer of TV shows for
many years. There are so many different things you have
to think about when you have someone on camera, and
including like are they too big or too small to
fit into a certain chair or couch? And you have
to be really, really thoughtful because you don't want to
embarrass someone either, and you wouldn't want to do that
in front of their face. And so it sounds like
he did the right thing by going and investigating rather
(05:11):
than say I don't feel comfortable or this is not
going to work. He didn't say it for a face
or embarrassor He just investigated to make sure that everything
works smoothly.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
It sounds like he went to a professional whose job
it is to deal with this stuff. If they have
a consultant on set so that you can make sure
you can lift things and put things down. They did
have an intimacy coach on the set too, and they
both said that was very, very important. They call those
sexual scenes choreography. So in the same way you learn
to dance with your feet, you learn a dance with
(05:39):
your face, your lips, your tongue, your hands, and so
they learned that. So I think he did the right
thing here. I think if you have concerns, you go
to an expert, and you go to the expert whose
job it is to teach you. So if he had
trouble with his lines, he would have gone to the
dialect coach. If he had trouble with the lighting, he
would have gone to the lighting designer. If he had
trouble lifting somebody up, he went to the stunt chord
(06:02):
and NATA. But it did get back to her. I
do I can see this from both sides, Mark, I
really really can, because people are very sensitive. A couple
of weeks ago, I shot a new pilot, a new
TV pilot with Miss d Miss t is tying and
she's adorable and that doesn't take anything away. In fact,
it's her superpower. But whenever miss t sits on a set,
(06:22):
she always looks really short. So they put two little
booster seats pillows on her chair, so were all not
the same height, but it's not huge difference, and I'm
quite tall, and so they the camera just couldn't get
Misty and me in the same shot unless I shrunk
or she got a booster seat. Now, she laughed about
(06:43):
it and had a fine time, but when we did
a TV show over a decade ago, it wasn't handled
as well. The end result was the same. She sat
on a pillow, but nobody explained it to her. Nobody
came over and told her what was going on, and
she took a little bit of a fence by it.
So it's all the way how this stuff is told
is explained, which is true in life. I can say
(07:05):
cheeky things and get away with them with this accent,
where maybe Mark you couldn't. And so it's very interesting.
You have to know where you're coming from. And let's
be honest here this set was dark. They were not
coming from love. If Mark I had said this to you, like, oh, Mark,
I'm going to have to talk to the coach before
I lift you up and booking on the character, you'd
laugh and you'd be like Rob Shooter. But like if
(07:25):
we didn't like each other, then you would be ready,
ready to get me. And I think that's what happened here.
They just didn't like each other. This set was a
disaster from work go from the beginning, and there was
nothing he could do, nothing she could do that wasn't
going to be scrutinized. And on top of that, she's
married to Ryan Reynolds, and he came in and directed
some of the scenes, which just in that was his job.
(07:48):
I think Ryan allegedly to rewrote some of the script.
That's not his job. It sounds to me here as
if Blake and Ryan are powerhouses. They like getting their
own way, they like being told yes. And they rolled
up to this reduction like they were Brad and Angelina
Jolo like they turned up like they were superstars, and
everybody else was like, Hm, what I want to know
(08:09):
is what you think naughty? Is our pole? Question of
the day is Blake Lively felt fat shamed on the
set of It Ends with Us? What do you think here?
Was she fat shamed or was justin just doing his job. Okay,
go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty nys rob
and a Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip, and be
(08:32):
sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Before
we move on, Mark, did you see the movie? Did
you see? It? Ends with us?
Speaker 2 (08:39):
I haven't seen it. I've read the reviews and it
seems like this dramas really eclipsed the entire project.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
So yeah, it's unfortunate because now all we're talking about
is the drama. But I saw it before I knew
about the drama, and now I want to see it
again to see if I could tell there was drama.
But it sort of worked for the characters because it's
a very dark movie, so the two of them sort
of butting heads works I think for the movement. It's
a great movie. Okay, Moving along. Simone Biles, her birth mother,
(09:06):
is pleading for forgiveness, saying don't judge me on my past.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Shannon Biles is publicly reaching out to her Olympic and
gymnast daughter, expressing a deep desire for reconciliation and forgiveness.
Shannon opened up about the struggles with drug and alcohol
addiction that led her to losing custody of her children,
including some moon She can only discussed how her battle
with addiction not only cost her the chance to raise
Simon and her sister Adria, but also strain their relationship
(09:32):
for years. Shannon, who still resides in Columbus, Ohio, where
Simone and Idria are born, recounted the heart bringing experience
of losing her daughters to foster care and then to
adoption by their father, Ronald Biles and his wife, Nellie Biles.
Shannon said, it took me sixty years before I saw
my children again. I respected my dad's decision to let
the kids transition because he felt it was the best
(09:54):
thing for them.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
Ah. I didn't realize she lived with the grandparents. I
knew she was adopted. I did not realize that Ronald
and Nellie, who were delicious at the Olympics. I enjoyed
watching those two as much as I enjoyed watching Simone.
I didn't realize it was their daughter, Sharon who gave
birth to Simone. I thought they had adopted her sort of,
maybe anonymously from an orphanage. I didn't realize that's how
(10:18):
it was passed down. This makes it very very complicated,
doesn't it. Because Ronald and Nellie they have feelings to
the woods that their biological daughter Shannon, and to their
biological granddaughter Simone, and so this family has to figure
all this out. I think what's going to make people
scared here is that often when you're successful, people can
(10:41):
come out of the woodwork. My sister Christine has a
beautiful daughter, and her dad left when she was a
little girl, so Paris doesn't really know her father at all.
When Paris started to become successful, she's in the West
End in London, she's coming to Broadway. She's terribly successful.
Her dad wanted in her life, and there was a
con about do you want to be in my life
(11:02):
now because I'm doing really well, or do you really
want to be back in my life. I'd like to
believe that there's always a place for forgiveness. I really
come from that in my heart, and so I hope
they all work this out, but I hope it's all
for the right reasons.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
My problem with this is not that Simone's mom wants
to be back in touch. It's the way that she's
going about it, and so she instead of you know,
emailing or going through a family friend or a family member.
She's speaking to the Daily Mail, which I love the
Daily Mail, but it's just not the way to do it.
And that's kind of thought of it. And the timing too.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
This is this feels very markable, doesn't It feels very
Thomas Markle. It feels very You're right. Your mom and
dad are now Simone's parents. You can call them. You
can call Simone. You've got their numbers, You've probably got
their emails. Why are you sitting down with the Daily Mail?
That's a red flag? Okay, moving along. This is a
sad story. Colin Goslin remember him, Kate Goslin's son. He's
(11:57):
now twenty years old, and he revealed that he was
kid out of the Army. He was discharged from the
US Marine Corps because of something in his past. He
alleges that when his mom put him into an institution,
she decided at an age that she just couldn't cope
with him. She didn't want him in the family. Her
reason would be he was destructive. He doesn't agree with that,
(12:19):
but he was institutionalized having a history of mental health problems.
When this came to life, he was discharged and he said,
that's it being in an institution. That's good enough for
them to discharge me. He now lives with his dad,
John and his sister Hannah. But it just makes me
sad that something a parent did years ago is affecting
(12:42):
his career, his job, what he's doing now.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
It's a very complicated story. And you know, further complicated
is that he says his mother visited him one time
and he was devoutionalized. So I think, you know, he's
out of touch with his mom, He's not in touch
with his siblings. He's been through a lotly grew up
in the tabloids, and now he's lost his job. I think,
you know, any person would be probably feeling really defeated
(13:06):
and maybe confused.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
And last wish and Colin the best here. It must
be so hard to be part of that family. I
met her several times, smart, one of the meanest celeb
like Bethany Frank, called me just obnoxious, snarling, like when
you walked over to her. I bumped into her in
(13:28):
a green room, and I'm very respectful in green rooms.
I never report on any gossip I see backstage, or
I'd never be invited back, so I'm not stupid, but
I saw Kate and I went over to get a
cup of coffee and she was standing there getting coffee
and I was like, hi, Kate, and she snarled at me.
And then I saw her be mean to a producer, snippy,
and then she wanted a private dressing rooms. Nasty, just
(13:52):
not very nice. And then the publicist for TLC called
me saying, I heard you had a run in with
Kate stage at the TV show. That's like a redded
I asked her to pass me the milk like that,
Like what, It's just not good and I think that's
why her career is over. For one minute, she was like,
(14:12):
I think the most famous reality star in the like
Kim Kardashi type famous. Do you know she holds the
record of the most consecutive People Magazine covers. She was
on People Magazine I think for five weeks, just every
week for five weeks. She was that big and now
it's gone. And part of that is she's just not
very nice. Okay, quickly, before we get a break, Katy
(14:34):
Perry is under investigation for allegedly damaging some protected sand
dunes in her new video, What's going on, Katy?
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Perry is going through it. So she's now facing scrutiny
from Spanish authorities after reportedly filming parts for a new
music video Lifetimes and environmentally sensitive stand dunes without proper authorization.
The video, which was primarily shot on the island of Abiza,
includes scenes believed to have been filmed on the protected dunes.
The Environmental Department is investigating whether Perry and her production
(15:05):
team filmed on those dunes with outscreening and securing the
necessary permits. The dunes, which are cording off by robes,
are part of a conservation area ornowned for its well
preserved and ecologically significant tune systems.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Wow. Her people put out a statement just minutes ago
saying all the necessarily permits for the video were secured.
Let's see them. You can't have different rules. I get
it just because you're famous, and I do sort of
understand it. If you're on the beach, you'd be like, oh,
it's going to look pretty over there, let's just go
shoot over there. But the problem is this, you can't
if it's if it's a roped off, it's apes off
for a reason, and it's not different rules because you're
married to Orlando bloom, he's lovely. It'sn't a cute. I
(15:42):
might let Orlando off if Orlando did a video in
the dunes and a bathing costume, I might not complain.
It's terrible. It's terrible. Okay, we're going to take a
quick victum. We will be right back. Welcome back to
the Naughty but Night Show. I'm rob shooting idea. If
anyone helup, let's get to the polls, DA, DA, DA,
(16:04):
So last year we talked about how Prince Harry and
Megan Markle's chief of staff quit after just three months.
Three months in the job, mark and it's quit. This
is about the eighteenth person that has left that place.
Is this a red flag? Op ninety three percent said yes.
I think of this too. Whenever I go for a
job interview or think about moving to a different a
(16:27):
different employer, I always have a little look to see
how long the staff has been there. And it's a
really good sign if the staff have been there a
long time. If everybody on the payroll has only been
there a couple of months, mark not a good look.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Not a good look, and you know, good luck to
them finding someone else to.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Well, that's it now, everybody knows. Everybody knows. Don't forget
to vote on today's poem Twitter page and Naughty Nice
Rama Facebook page is naughty gossip and be sure to
check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's
time for and nicest of the day.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Oh. Travis Kelsey has grown out his hair because of
Taylor Swift, says Patrick Mahomes. He explains that Travis Kelsey
is sporting a new look, and it turns out Taylor
Swift may have had a hand in it. According to
his Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes, Kelsey has been
rocking a longer hair style lately because his girlfriend, Taylor
(17:24):
Swift encouraged to change. Mahomes choked, I've been trying to
get him to grow out his hair, and all of
a sudden, Taylor gets him to do it. Rob you've
seen me. He looks pretty good. It's the longer hair must.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I like him a little less hairy like I don't
like that long long beard, a little stubble. I think
looks good. He's a good looking guy. I think this
is adorable. These two are the real deal. And Taylor's
back on stage tonight in London. We'll tell you all
about Patrick and what celebrities will be there. Do you
think Charlotte and William will make an appearance? So you've
(17:56):
seen her once, maybe not twice since I can't wait
to see all the celebrities there tonight. And now, Anne,
naughty is the day? Naughty, naughty, naughty. I told you
it was going to happen at the top of the show.
Now people are coming forward with horror stories about working
with Blake lively. So a reporter said it was the
most uncomfortable interview ever and it made her want to
quit her job. So a journalist was interviewing Blake and
(18:20):
she said, congratulations on your little bump. She was pregnant
at the time, and Blake responded with the kurt congratulations
on your little bump, mirroring the words back to her.
Then the interview took a more uncomfortable term when the
reporter asked Blake about wearing special period costume from the
(18:43):
nineteen thirties, these elaborate, beautiful costumes, and Blake responded with
a sharp critique, saying, everybody wants to talk about the clothes,
but I wonder if you'd asked a man about the clothes.
She does have a point there, but the reporter went
on to say she was extremely rude and it was
so nasty and she wanted to quit her job after
this blake. I don't think you should have opened up
(19:06):
this kettle a fish, this Pandora's box, because if you
start saying your co stars a nightmare, people are going
to talk about what you're like to work with too. Okay,
attend with a moment of Rob. You're gonna Rob, You're
gonn rub you a Rubbi room. Don't invest in someone
on how much you like them. Don't do that. Invest
(19:27):
in someone on how much they like you. You can't force
anybody to like you. Have you wasted your time chasing
a friendship, a boyfriend, a girlfriend that you really like,
but they just are not into you investing people who
invest in you. Hey, that is it for today. Thank
(19:48):
you so much for listening to the Naughty but Nice
with Rob and Mark show, a production of iHeartRadio. Don't
forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app Apple podcasts. Where
have you listen? Leave us a review and they really
do help And remember all together. Now, if you're going
to be naughty, you've got to be a ready. It's
(20:14):
not even nice with bro
