Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice. Sure, it's low and low and lovelo. Welcome to
the naughty but nice Sham your house rum shooter. And
it's Friday, which means that dear friend Corey Andrew joins us.
Hey Corey, how are you?
Speaker 2 (00:25):
I am here? I am well? How are you doing?
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Rob? Very well? I see you're back in your regular studio,
your recording studio. It's a nice setup you've got there.
My friend John looking at.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
You, Yes, Oliving and John. I have to shout out
to Wayne, how well he's a wonderful he did that. Yeah,
he's amazing. He's working with John Waters too on a
new project.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
Amazing.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
This is my yeah, my little, my little oasis.
Speaker 1 (00:49):
It's a lovely oasis. Okay, let's jump into the show.
What time is it? My friends? Is time? So breaking news?
Before we jump into the show. Did he is begging
for mercy, saying sorry for the pain that he has caused. Today,
Diddy is going to be He's going to find out
his sentence since so it's not the verdict today, we
know that too, guilty Charnci. It is the sentencing today
(01:10):
and it could be anything from him walking out of
jail with time served he's been there for thirteen months,
or it could be up to twenty years. I was
on CNN late last night with a bunch of lawyers
and we're talking in the green room, and they're predicting
four to six years. They don't think it's going to
be twenty but they don't think it's going to be
just time served. And so he put out there's a
(01:32):
really long, four page letter to the judge. Whether or
not you believe it is up to you, but there
is no doubt that the letter was really, really strong.
He blames himself for the current reality and the situation
that he finds himself in. He talks about pain as
his teacher and how he's been changed by prison. He
(01:54):
also talks about Cassie and what he did to her.
They say, if you're going to make an apology, We've
heard this all the time. Make an apology, don't say like,
if I've offended you, I'm sorry, don't condition it, say it.
This is a really really solid letter, a solid apology.
Once again, if you believe it or not, that's up
(02:15):
to you. But I read it carefully. As somebody who
used to work with puff and used to put out
statements and press releases for Puffs. I've read this six
times and I see his fingerprints all over it. Once again,
do we believe it? I'm not sure. But if you
want to study how to make an apology, if you
want to study how to take responsibility, this is it.
(02:36):
He takes full responsibility. Yeah, he says sorry, he says
he has changed. Sorry only matters if the behavior changes.
It's only a real apology if you're get to change
your behavior, and I believe he will. I think being
in jail, somebody that's so privileged, that's so wealthy, like Puff,
(02:57):
being locked away for twelve thirty months is going to
change it. I don't think if he comes out of prison,
it's going to be the old Puffy. I could be wrong,
but this is how our system system works. What do
you think?
Speaker 2 (03:10):
I mean, that's how our system works. But we're what
we're not thinking about how human psychology works. And I
don't think a person really is necessarily sad or sorry
at what they've done until they get caught.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
You know.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
I don't really believe he's had the acts of contrition,
like like where the acts of contrition that show us
that he's actually sorry for it. I mean it's like,
you know, has he arranged any sort of funding to
go to victims out there who are sexual assault victims,
or arranged any kind of relief funds for people who
are substance abusers, or where's the act of contrition? So
(03:49):
I don't know if it's more like, hey, I'm just
sorry I got caught and I'll say anything to get
out and walk free. I mean, wasn't he like planning
his like party already and stuff.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
He's like, if he gets out, he will have a comeback.
There's no doubt about that. He'll be releasing movies. They've
already recorded a documentary, the cameras have been at the
courthouse for weeks, the family have been doing interviews. So
if he comes out, there will be a comeback. But
it's a really big question for us to think about, Harry. Know,
if somebody is sorry, if somebody says they are sorry,
if somebody tells you they are sorry, do we accept it?
(04:21):
Forget Diddy for one minute, because that clouds the issue.
But I really want to believe that people can change.
Maybe I'm being optimistic, maybe I'm being silly here and naive,
but I do want to believe I know from much, much,
much smaller mistakes that I've made, but nevertheless they've hurt friends,
I've hurt family members. I'm really sorry when I haven't
(04:41):
behaved well, and I really do try to make a difference.
Some people say a leopard never changes, it's smart. I
would like to believe that people who go to jail
can come out different. I would really like to believe that. Otherwise,
jail's just the holding pen where we throw people away
and lose the key.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Well, the whole purpose of jail was supposed to be, well,
not the whole purpose, but in recent years, rehabilitation of
the person. And unless you have tools in the institution
to help them achieve that, then is that being accomplished.
So I don't know, like you know, what did he
in his past thirteen months? What has he been working
on to let us know that when he comes out
(05:22):
he's now trying to be.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
In the letter, he does points out a few things
he's done within the jail, including starting up some groups
and some conversations and working with prisoners on anger issues,
and so he does sound like he's done the work.
Once again, I worked with puff and it's really hard
to tell because he can be really charismatic, he's devilishly smart.
He knows that this letter is basically a press release,
(05:45):
and even at the sentencing today, I'm told he's going
to air a short video, which is highly irregular. They
don't normally do this. Puffy knows how to edit a video.
His music videos were edited within an inch of their lives.
So I'm not sure what we're going to see there,
but as you're listening to this podcast, we're going to
find out. We will jump into it on Monday. The
sentence in if you're watching TV today, alwa loo loo,
(06:08):
I'm all over it talking Diddy and it's going to
be a big day. It's going to be a big day.
I could go either way on this. I think he could.
He could walk, he's been there for thirteen months. I
also think too, he could get the book thrown at him.
But if I'm following the advice the expertise of many
lawyers I spoke to, thank you, C and N, I
think two to three, maybe four years, we'll figure that
(06:29):
out in just a few hours. Okay. Moving along, Nicole
Kidman's star studded friends had done with Keith Urban, so
Nicole has some massive, massive celebrity friends. Reese Witherspoon, the
Kloon is Meryl Streep, She's worked with some of the
Hugh Jackman. They're all close friends with her. Kate Blanchett.
Now that it appears that that her ex, I was
going to say, her husband a strange husband, MA have
(06:53):
a little piece on the side, might be seeing somebody else,
I'm told that the wagons have cirtled around a Cole
and they are all team Nicole.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
My gosh. Well, you know, it's one of those things too,
where it's not like they just had an amicable breakup,
because hey, we're growing apart and we're gonna go on
with our lives. But there's, like you said, there's suspected
infidelity and apparently like maybe a twenty five year old
member of his band or something like that.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
I'm hearing too, Corey, I'm gonna break the story. I'm
hearing some more than one girl.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Yeah, oh okay, so he's been really out there doing
his thing.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
So, you know, the fans and the friends of the
person who's like the victim in that situation, it's pretty
normal that they're going to rally around the one who's
been cheated on, not the cheat.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
Yeah, although I got to admit, even if you were
in the wrong, I would rally around you because you're
my friends.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
Yeah, But I mean, yeah, here's.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
A double whammy. She's in the right, she's been people
haven he's been wrong to her. That's I'm trying to
bea She's the wronged person in this situation. She's also
my friend and so it's a double tick next to
her name. Yes, so I think Keith he was a
very successful country star. But he wouldn't be sitting at
the Oscars. He wouldn't be sitting at the Kloe in
(08:06):
his house having dinner. He wouldn't be having dinner with
Reese Witherspoon at the Ivy. All that's gonna go. Now
does that really matter in life? Probably not. But if
he likes that Hollywood celebrity that came from her, that
did not come from him, goodness gracious, it is all
coming out, which brings us to our whole question of
the day. Nicole Kidman's star studied friends have cut Keith
(08:30):
Urban off. What do you think? Would you stand by Nicole?
Would you cut him off? Yes? Or no? Go vote
on our Twitter page at Naughty Knights Rob at facebook
page is Naughty Yosib and be sure to check back
on Monday to hear your results. Hey, what are you
working on, Corey?
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Yes, well, this is an exclusive here. Rab Kardashian has
been paid two million dollars to return to his family show. Now, yeah,
he just pulled off what they're calling the comeback of
the year because he is two million dollars. Richard. He's
thirty eight years old. He's of course the Kardashian brother
and he vanished from the TV screens for a while now,
(09:06):
for eight years, actually about eight years he disappeared from
the show. He was still working with the family behind
the scenes and stuff, and he has his own business,
so he was not necessarily off the radar completely. But
now he is shocking fans when they've seen him reappear
in the new trailer for the Kardashians. But if you blink,
you'll miss it. You know, he's really it's quick. You know,
he's like in a blue and a black T shirt.
(09:28):
You know, yeah, really really quick. But yeah, you know,
he was just sort of like being a dad. You know,
he's raising his daughter. Of course, he has a kid
with Black China and he's been col parenting and doing that.
So but they've lured him back, and that's quite a
hefty paycheck.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
I would say they're pulling out all the stops. Caitlyn
Jenna's back on the show too. Now you know she
didn't do it for five dollars. So we've got Kate,
We've got Rob Kardashian. They make hundreds of millions on
this show. It's a really good investment. They're getting more
than two million dollars worth of pr. Because he doesn't
do this, he's not at the We've never seen him.
He doesn't get a red carpets. We don't see him
(10:02):
walking around Hollywood. I was looking to see when he
was last photographed, and it was really hard to find
a picture of him. He's the most private of the Kardashians. Yes,
is not into this. However, fans love what they can't have.
And Rob was a member of that show for a
really long time before he disappeared. He has a very sloppy,
sloppy personal life, which we're gonna love. I got about
(10:24):
Black Child and what's going on. I want to know
all the details. And so Rob is back once again.
These Kardashians, I tip my hat. It is marketing genius.
I thought I was over them, but now I have
been sucked back in. Okay. Another person who is getting
sucked into the spotlight is Kai Trump k Trump, Kai Trump,
I think it is. This is Donald Trump Junior and
(10:47):
Vanessa Trump's daughter. She's recording new music inside as of
saying she's trying to be the conservative Taylor Swift. She's
only seventeen years old. She's been spotted a lot with
the president. The last time he was president, it was
all about a Vonker. She was always by his side.
Not so much now. In fact, we barely see her
(11:07):
at the White House. He does have Eric and Don Junior.
He does have Tiffany, we barely see those either. This
now is the new Baron. Baron's disappear and so this
is going to be the new the next generation, the
face of the next generation of the Trump family. I
know it's a very controversial subject. We only cover them
(11:28):
on the show because of the music aspect, and they
are celebrities, Like I knew Donald as a celebrity before
he was all that other crazy stuff he was doing
here in New York. But it is interesting now now
what I'm told which I find so interesting, is that
other members of the family I'm looking at you, a Vonka,
are not so happy about this. When you pick favorites,
(11:49):
it doesn't matter if you're the first family or your
family or my family. It's tricky for a grandparents, a
parent to pick a favorite. She clearly now she's clearly
his favorite.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Well, you know, it's interesting because you mentioned we don't
do politics, but we are covernation from the musical standpoint,
So I want to just point out something really funny
about that. You know, when it comes to the music,
She's being marketed by some conservative outlets as the anti
Taylor Swift. They're using that language, the anti Taylor Swift,
which I find fascinating because they say, Nate, she can
(12:21):
be the Tailor Swift of the right. Taylor Swift has
almost three hundred million Instagram followers and there are only
three hundred and forty million people in the United States,
so she's already lost the Instagram contest. Okay, Taylor has
two hundred million records sold worldwide, a billion dollar tour,
one hundred million dollars in streaming singles in one week, Like,
(12:41):
how are you going to be the anti you don't
want to be the anti Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
I want to be the anti person who has their
record label, all right, opposite of somebody that sold zero record.
Play that with her, very very funny. Okay, moving along
with figuring guys, the Barbara Wilts is no longer with us,
but might have been a boss from hell? What is
going to be?
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Yeah, this is disturbing, but not too shocking because she
had there was these stories around, but Barbara Walters made
her remembered as a trailblazer in TV, of course, but
behind the curtain they say she was a monster.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Years after her passing, of course, many people are speaking
out because they say he never speak ill of the dead.
So now they're saying that she's been gone for a while,
but they're calling her cruel, mean and even bullying. Some
are saying that she was worse than Ellen, as you know,
Ellen got that reputation in her later years. So here
for example, Sherry Shepherd said that she made her cry
for three straight years. One former producer says that Walters
(13:36):
did not believe in private correction, which means she would
reprimand you in front of people as a habit. You know,
she chose favorites, and she'd say little like things that
were sort of passive aggressive, like you look pretty today,
but too bad you didn't sound smart. So she just
was not nice. And it's a consensus that this is
not one report. This is pretty much you know, many
(13:57):
people are saying this is true. She was just not
very nice over twelve people.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
I worked with Barbara for a short time on a
new talk show she had, remember ian La van Zand
I did the press for that and Barbara was the
executive producer, So I spent many a day in a
control room with Barbara. She's tough, she was not.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
And I think so or you know the thing about
when it's cruel.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Let me be clear. There was the other tough people
in television, and I have no problem with tough. There
was a crueltry to Barbara. And if you make somebody
cry every single day, like Sherry, so the stories are
coming out. Everybody has a really cruel Barbara Barbara story.
If she if she snapped at me and made me better,
I'd actually say thank you for that. But I saw
a side of Barbara that I thought was really cruel.
(14:39):
Man be sad because she's such a legend. You don't
want to hear this. But let's also remember don't put
everybody on a pedestal. In fact, don't put anybody on
We're all human beings. Okay, we're going to take a
quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
to the Naughty but Nice and your hair strong shooter. Hey,
let's get to the polls. Ah, did he believes talking
(15:02):
to the judge this morning will get him out of jail?
So he talked about this yesterday. I broke the news
that did he will speak this morning? I said he
would issue a letter. We've now got the letter. We
spoke about it at the top of the show. So
I was right about all that. But our question to
you was will he get out of jail today? Do
you think the power of his celebrity, of his chrisma,
of his personality, will he charm this judge? The judge
(15:25):
is going to decide today in just a few hours,
will he get out of jail today? Forty percent said yes,
which mean sixty think no. You think he's going to
spend more time in jail. I think you're probably right. Hey,
don't forget to vote on today's pole Twitter page at
nice rama. Facebook page is Naudy Yossip and be sure
(15:46):
to check back on Monday to hear your results. And
now really the happiest, busiest story of the days also
and nicist of the day.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
Yes, Taylor again in her spotlight here and you know what,
She's about to own the weekend and she doesn't even
have to have a movie to do it. Well, not
a real movie anyway. So the pop Queen's latest stunt
is a ninety minute promo film titled the Life of
a Showgirl, and it's already sold out most Friday showings nationwide,
the ticket priced at just twelve dollars. Industry insiders are
(16:21):
saying that it's an industry insiders till straight shooter. The
release is a guaranteed number one at the box office.
It will, but don't mistake it for a real, full
cinematic treat. It's not a full movie. It's just a
souvenir film, like a really expensive promo that's just playing
just this weekend. That's all that's it.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
But it's great. I'm going on Saturday. I cannot wait.
Nineteen minutes. It's like a big commercial for Taylor. It's
a big celebration for lots of music in there, lots
of dancing, lots of happiness. I want to disappear for
half an hour ninety minutes this weekend and have a great,
great singer and nicest thank you Taylor of the day.
And now I know she's the day. So she's told
me that Keith Oban is in a full blown mid
(17:01):
life crisis. Do you think I would say so? Inside
a convinced that he's spiraling in a textbook mid life
crisis sort of way. First came the split from the coal,
Then came the rumors that he was seeing somebody else.
Somebody said to me, if we're not careful, he'll dye
his hair again and buy a Corvette. Like it's that point.
(17:21):
This is not the key, people. No, he has been
really honest about his struggles, his struggles with substance abuse
in the past. He is fifty seven years old, looks fantastic.
But you're still with all the money in the world,
with all the power in the world, you still can
have a crisis. And I think that's what's happening to
(17:42):
Chris to Keith, to Keith to Keith. Okay, let's end
with a moment of rob your Legacy doesn't begin tomorrow.
It begins today. Not when you calm down, not when
you get things right. It begins today. Every decision you make,
if it's smaller, it's big. It's a brick in the
(18:02):
foundation of the life you are building. The way you
speak to somebody, the risks you take, the boundaries you set,
those are choices that will add up. Legacy isn't about
what you leave behind when you are gone. It's about
how you're living every single day. Don't wait for tomorrow
(18:26):
to be a good person. Hey, that is it for
this week. Thank you so much for listening to The
Naughty but Nice with Rob and Corey Show, a production
of iHeartRadio and Alvis Daurant. Then forget to subscribe on
the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast wherever you listen, leave us
a review if you can. They really do help and
remember all together. Now, are you ready if you're going
(18:48):
to be
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Nice?
