Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Sure, it's time hell level love, love and love and
love and love.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Hello, Welcome to the nordyven. I shall have your host
Ram Shooter.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
It's Friday, which means our dear friend Corey Andrew joins us.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Hey, Cory, are you there? I am here.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Happy Friday everyone.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Good to see you, my friend. This week we had
two co hosts who couldn't do the show, so I'm
really excited to have you here today. I'm always excited,
but this week I used to get so nervous Corey.
When I had to do a solo show, I didn't
know if I could do it. And it was actually
my friend Wendy Williams is Robert.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
You can talk for twenty minutes.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
And then some and then some, so I know I
always have you naughties with me. It's lovely having a
co host on the mic. We have a ton to
get to, so let's jump right in. What time is it?
My friends? It is tea really really sad breaking news
at the top of the show, Kelly Clarkson's ex husband

(01:06):
and talent manager has died at just forty eight from cancer.
Black Stuff was a talent manager and the former stepson
of Reba McIntyre passed away. Cancer is the cause Kelly
Clarkson has canceled her residency in Vegas. They have been
divorced for quite a while and it was a really
ugly divorce. It was very very nasty. This is what

(01:29):
she has been up to. Nobody really wanted to talk
about it. We knew he was very, very sick. They
shared children together. Her focus now is the children and
really really helping her children understand if that's even possible,
what is going on.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
This is their father, Kelly.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Kelly and her ex did not have a great relationships
towards the end. There was even accusations of money missing.
I think we had to pay her two million dollars
back in royalties in checks. But alas he has died
of cancer, and that Kelly Kelly is putting being a
mom first.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yeah, yeah, that is so difficult, you know, And I
think that with all going on, you know, she's been
having some troubles in general, with canceling the show. Now
she's back on the voice of course, which is adding
more stress to her schedule. So I just think that
she's really been balancing so much, and so this explains
a lot of that because she's been dealing with the

(02:23):
father of her children who wasn't not well. So although
they had a bad divorce, that's still her children's father,
and so it shows that she was involved.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
You know, she's a good person, like she wanted her
children to have a relationship with their father. She not
so much. She became her manager. He didn't do a
very good job of managing her. There was money issues here,
there was lots of control issues. But he's passed away
of cancer, just forty eight years old. We knew it
was serious, we knew he was in bad shape. I
didn't think it was going to happen this quick. So

(02:54):
this has been going on full months. Sourced say, this
has been going on for month. It is a little insight.
It's a little explanation into why Kelly did cancel a
few weeks on her talk show, and why she canceled
the beginning of a Vegue residency and now she's canceled
the end of it.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
However, there is a bigger picture here.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
My sources are telling me it's not just her husband's
passing that has made her really stop. This is a
life changing moment. Yeah, somebody in their forties pass away
you think about yourself, and you think about your life
and your family.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
And are you happy.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
And I'm told that Kelly Now, this has shook her
to her foundation and she's working too much. She has
a lot of money. She works for every penny of it.
I'm not taking but when you work that much her
own talk show, she's a recording artist, she's on tour,
she's also on the voice. It's now a time I

(03:49):
think for Kelly to take a step back. It would
not surprise me at Talk Cory if she doesn't return
to her talk show. I know there's been lots of
talk about that over the last several month months. I
think that Kelly now is going to really really make
her priority looking after those kids.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah yeah, And you know the thing is too and
it's not to mock celebrities. I'm going to celebrate the
fact that they're lucky. They have the financial means. If
you will to step back and be able to do that,
you know so many of us.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Wish we could.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
So I think if Kelly has those resources, all that money,
you know what, step away, help your kids to get
through this, be a good mom as you've been doing,
and the entertainment will be there for you girl when
you're ready, because we love me some, we love us some,
Kelly Clarks and Kelly and so yeah, take care of you, Kelly.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
That's what having money is about. Money gives you those
opportunities to make those decisions. And a lot of my friends,
a lot of people I grew up with, they had
to go to work. They couldn't take a day off,
let alone a week scheck. A lot of people I
know growing up, they went to work sick because they
needed that check. If they didn't make that salary, they

(04:56):
weren't going to pay their rent. The kids were not
going to eat that with. Kelly is in a really,
really privileged place here.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
She's worked for every penny. She has worked for it.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
But now that you have money, enjoy it. Yes, my fear,
Corey is dying rich. I want to spend every penny.
By the time you put me in that grave, Corey,
I will have spent every single penny of bit. And
I want Kelly. I want Kelly to be happy at
the moment. This is a life changing.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah it is. He's a young guy.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Relationship was very very very very difficult. This is just
heartbreaking news. We found out today that she'd canceled the
rest of her residency in Vegas, and my sources are
telling me it's just she can't perform while this is
going on. It's not for some husband wife affection that's gone.
These two are divorced. But he's still a human being,

(05:48):
and as you said, Corey, he will always be the
parents to those kids and that will keep them connected.
Old Kelly clocks and our heart breaks for you. Take
your time, don't rush back. You don't owe us anything,
take your time. Just the sad, sad story. Okay, moving along,
what's going on with Brooke Hogan.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Well, you know, continuing unfortunately in a story about death,
but this one is about, of course, her father, Halk Hogan.
So Brook's family, you know, they're having a fight because
she's been saying she doesn't want any of his money.
But they say, not so fast, Brooke Hogan. You know,
although she says she doesn't want to dine from her
late father, multiple sources are saying that she's actually not

(06:30):
given the full story. So this is about money. Don't
let the speeches fool you. A family insider tells hashtag
shooter scoop. And so you know, Brook's father Hawk Hogan.
He was sort of a savvy man when it comes
to reality TV. He built up a very sort of
infamous presence, and they're sort of insinuating that Brooke is
maximizing her opportunity to monetize from that. Now, she skipped

(06:53):
Hulk's Florida, Florida funeral and she was blasting his inner
circle on TMZ Live and claims that she wasn't even
in the will and she doesn't care. But inside her
say her public outrage is part of a bigger plan
to stay in control, maybe like to control the narrative.
And maybe that's gonna help her set the stage for
some other projects where she can benefit from the legacy

(07:16):
of her father for more leverage. Now, I don't know,
maybe that becomes a reality show again on her own.
Maybe it's books, TVs, deals, endorsements, who knows. At the
end of the day, I think she will be still
utilizing the hawk Hogan name to make a living, because,
let's just face it, if there were no hawk Hogan legacy,
we not even care about Brook Hogan. I'm just being serious.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Yeah, no, it's true. It's absolutely the words of truth.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
There.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
You're saying, no wrong, this is messy. This This family
was really at war with one another. Now she's offering
to pay money for an autopsy, saying it was very
suspicious our father died.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
She'll pay for it.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Also, she was cut out of the will. She did
not even go to her dad's funeral. Right, this is
bad blood and it really runs deep. However, I think
I think all this scream in the shouting, I don't
think it helps Brook.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
It certainly does not help Paul Cogan. He's gone, and.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
So it's very very Complicatedly, I think this is about
not challenge, challenging your emotions. Her emotions are all over
the place, of course they are. She felt like with
her dad and she never got to say goodbye. I
can't imagine where she is. And now she's going to
challenge them, really really push them into something that I
think is not going to help get it. We all

(08:33):
make these mistakes, we all get into a root, we
all follow the wrong.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Path every now and again.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
But I hope she can can can take a moment
and think about this, because it's not going to end well.
The wife, Hulk's wife, I think her name's Sky. She
has inherited all his money. It was about twenty five
million dollars.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Either. I don't think she's going to cut brook in.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
I don't think she's going to cut the ex wife in.
They have a brother to a son. I don't think
he's going to be cut in here.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
Get your wills in order.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Oh my gosh, yes, for no, Because it's your money,
it's nobody else's.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
You decide who gets it.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Okay, Moving it along to a slightly nicer story, Thank goodness,
Kelly Ripper is taking the summer after Kelly Ripper.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
We haven't seen her on the show.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Her handsome husband's been there with different co hosts for
a couple of weeks. Kelly's officially off thought for this summer.
They say she just wanted a vacation. How are the
Some people are saying she's a little bit burned out,
she's frustrated and this show has been going on now
for decades. Good for her, she's so lucky to have
such an amazing job that pays so well, such a
great job. But I think Kelly now is looking at

(09:40):
what she wants to do next. She has more money
than God. She never needs to work another day in
her life, so what is she going to do? Next them.
The dilemma I'm told that she has is it's not just.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Her job anymore, it's her husband.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
So Kelly wants to quit this show, she better have
a little Chita chat Mark, because I don't know if
going to keep the job if Kelly's not there. I mean,
it's really you open up a Pandora's box here, because
if Kelly wanted to leave, what would happen if ABE
said ABC said, oh we'll recast the whole fit Sure,
I mean, because then Mark's can.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
What he might not want to leave?

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Yeah? Yeah, And I think Mark, I mean, he was
a celebrity in his own right to a degree. But
let's be honest again, just like with Brooke, I've got
to be honest, like his fame really at this level
comes from his success with his wife as her quote
unquote sidekick. I hate to say.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
She insisted.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
When Ryan Seacrest left that show and they were doing auditions,
Kelly put a foot down and said, no more of
this nonsense. The co host is Mark or I walk.
But Kelly made it very clear that can undermine Mark
in some ways. But I don't think he cares because
he's got a great job and earning a lot of
but like Kelly was the one, they would not get
a higher bark. They were looking at a lot of

(10:53):
other people. Now they had her with rotating hose, all speculated,
and then Kelly walked in and said, you know I've
played this game. I've given you this nonsense. Yeah yeah,
and now you're hied my husband. And I'm sure she said,
and you pay this much too? Oh my god, No,
fool here, this is the problem. There is a down side.
The upside is they do earn a great living and
he gets a great job. The down side is when

(11:14):
she leaves, he loses his dragon yehs, his protector.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
I do wonder, though, there is a little wild card.
What if they kept Mark without her and it became
a success.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
You know, he could be again when he comes home
from work. Can you imagine when he comes home from
work and the show has some bigger hit. Now Kelly's
not Yeah, this is a this is a cat of wood.
I don't like to work with partners like Bruce and
I have very separate for it's tricky, very sick. I
don't like it. I don't I see these couples who
work together and it never ends up yeah, it doesn't.

(11:46):
I can't think of one example of friends that I
have who work together who are a couple and it's ended.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Well.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Yeah, I know, Joe and I have that kind of dynamic.
He's involved a lot creatively, but he have to sometimes
separate because we're too close, and so it can turn
into a whole you know, Judy Garland and Sid Luft momentum.
We tried to avoid it when we care as it's
like Elvis.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
At the Colonel turned to the colonel, I really really,
I get too involved in it, Bruce. We made the
decision very early on. It's because friends of ours who
have worked together, who are a couple.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
It's not good. They warned, it is not good.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
And so we've seen their problems, their their their mistakes,
their challenges, and we decided this is not for us.
Kelly and Mark, you guys clearly did not get the memoir.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Moving along, another person who is getting a lot of success,
a lot of attention because of a famous relative. It's
Nicole Kidman's daughter. What is she up to?

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Yeah, you know, and I have an interesting take on this.
Let me tell you guys a story first. So Nicole
Kidman's daughter. Her name is Sunday Rose, which is a
very pretty name. So she just landed her first fashion
magazine cover. But sources are telling hashtag shooter Scoop that
it was not earned. It was handed to her because
of her famous mother, which is to be expected really

(13:08):
in this industry. But you know, Nicole is saying that's
not true. She's like, no, my daughter just walked in
like anybody else and landed the cover of a magazine.
Now most people are like, not buying that, but most
people are actually saying it's one hundred percent because of Nicole,
And one fashion insider says no one was checking for
Sunday at all until her mother started making phone calls.

(13:29):
Now she's again the daughter of Keith Urban and Nicole Kitman.
She made her runaway debut at mewmus Spring twenty twenty
five show, the same luxury brand that frequently dresses her
Oscar winning mom. So there's an obvious channel there for
a nepotism. But here's what I have to say about that.
I was very critical of Kaya Gerber when she first

(13:49):
came out as Sydney Crofford's I was very like, you know,
cause I'm a big I'm a purist from the nineties.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
I love my supermom was a girl.

Speaker 3 (13:56):
Yeah, so you're not just gonna walk in like that
and think we're going to praise you the kids who
that knew the supermodels the way we did. But KaiA
Gerbert may have used nepotism to get in. However, she
worked her tail and she and she she she learned
the crab. So I'm okay with Sunday Rose if she's

(14:16):
not going to rely on her mom's fame just to
maintain get in there and do the work. If mom
got you in, I'm okay with that.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
Do the world, Yeah, yeah, do the word.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
I think I would have passed on this cover if
my mom had been a COLKD and I said, give
me a couple of years, let me do the work,
let me earn this, let me get on a book.
I don't because I think her mom probably is helping
her financially, like they don't have to worry about you.
It's a different sort of life, and so there's so
many benefits of having a celebrity parents. I don't know
if getting me on the magazine covers really because we

(14:47):
all say no, one's saying not one person today is
he said, Wow, this Nylon cover is great, well done.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
We're all saying did your mom ye?

Speaker 2 (14:55):
But we're all we're all saying it so they think
it helps. But I think it's actually right a bad looking.
It's like if Bruce had a music hall, if it
was presented by Rob Shooter, You'll all be like, Rob,
we know what your name on.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
That did nothing? I did absolutely nothing. But executive producer
is Rob Shoot.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
Yeah. I want to be executive producer of Billy Joel's
music or a musical that has nothing to do with
my family. Like it's just it's a little it's you
know what it is. It gives you a fast track.
You've got to do the work. You might be ten
steps ahead of most, you got to do the work. Okay,
we're going to take a quick break and we will
be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but nine

(15:36):
show and Rob Shoot the idea friend Cory Andrews. Hey, Corey,
let's get to the polls. Last show, we talked about
Prince William and Harry They both attending their cousin Beta
Phillips upcoming wedding, but they have very strict demands. They
won't sitting next to each other, no photographs together, blah
blah blah. Is this petty? Are they just being petty?
It's not their wedding, it's not their day you turn up.

(15:57):
It's the bride and the groom's day is not about
William and high right, But these are they petty? Yes,
that's a hards this fact the House of winsor they
do petty, it's a reality.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
I'm surprised like Andy Cohen hasn't like made this into
a new Bravo hit because they are really housewife what.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
It feels like? Oh petty, petty, petty, don't forget to that.

Speaker 2 (16:21):
On Today's Paul Page, Atten Nights, Rob Faceabook pages naughty
your zip I'm sure's a check backed on Monday.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
Your results are not.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Oh it's nice.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Of the day.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
I do love the story. It's about friendship and girl
girlfriend camaraderie, and I do love it. So basically, Selena
Gomez is revealing that her Taylor Swift friendship actually started
with her breakup with one of the Jonas brothers. So
you know, she's saying that it all began with that breakup,
and she's thirty three years old now and she and
Taylor had met had met back in two thousand and

(16:55):
eight while dating Nick and Joe Jonas respectively. It was
really that's messy though. Wait, that's a whole other episode.
We had to get into that later. But you know,
she says, we were young. We didn't know we were
doing and so she said what started out as a
shared heartbreak quickly turned into something much deeper because at
that age they became really good friends and they all

(17:16):
booned up over breakups, as girls do.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
And she just.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Explained, and here we are now, sixteen years later, they're
really good friends. And you know, she's also recalled when
she heard the song love Story before it's released, and
she said, you know, I was thinking that was one
of the most beautiful songs ever. And she said Taylor
told her that it might be her first single and
she was so proud. But it all sort of stemmed
from that relationship when they were all young, starting out
and dating the Jonah's brother. So who knew.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
There you go, pretty gra I love this.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
It doesn't matter how you find your friends, wouldn't you
find them hold on to them often? I find friends
in really messy places. Yeah, you really have it. Having
somebody with something that we've both gone through together gives
you something to bond about. But these two are really
great friends. I wonder if the Jonas brothers are like
what we wish we had treated both of those. You

(18:04):
two are nicest that the day and now I noticed
the day we told you first did he is planning
a massive come back. He's planning a concert at Madison Square. God,
and his lawyer just confirmed it. Once did he gets
out of jail, he might even get a pardon. God,
for once he gets out of jail, he is planning
to come back with a vengeance. If you think he's
gonna sneak away with his tail between his legs, you

(18:27):
do not know perfect. Our reporting was first. This is
going to be the first of many many shows. Don't
be surprised if Kanye West is not sur guest at
the show.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
Messy, messy, messy, what a.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Place we are in the same with a moment of
Ronna rob You don't have to be great to start,
but you have to start to become great. Greatness isn't
a prerequisite, it's action. That's what greatness is. So start messy,
start scared, start small, Just start You've got to start.

(19:02):
That's the hardest thing. If you're waiting to be perfect,
you'll never start. Nobody's perfect. When Alicia Key sat down
at that piano at five or six years old, she
wasn't very good. She became good. When Taylor Swift started
playing the guitar, she was awful, she became great. You've
got to start at the beginning. There are no shortcuts

(19:22):
to greatness. The only way you get there is by.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Doing the war.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
Doing it today, tomorrow, the next day, keep doing the work. Hey,
that is it for today, noughties. Thank you so much
for listening to The naughtyburn Eyes with Rob and Cory show.
We're a production of iHeartRadio and Alvis Durant. Don't forget
to leave a comment if you can. They really really
really do help and remember altogether. And I let me
hear you're singing your lung if you're going to
