Speaker 1 (00:08):
Sable advice for sure.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
It's time hell and love. Hello, welcome to the naught
even nice show. I'm your house to rub Shooter. And
it's Friday, which means our dear friend Cory Andrew joins us. Hey, Corey,
are you there?
Speaker 1 (00:23):
Hello there everyone, Happy Friday.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Hello, Hello. I've been following you on social media. You're
on fire, my friend. Apparently you've got a lot of
followers over the last couple of days. Congratulation, Thank you
so much.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Yes, a lot of new file awars. And I did big.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
I did book this really big gig in Rehobe Beach,
which is a big festival, a big charity event, almost
seven to eight hundred people. And I'll be singing for
them to open up the show this year, my second time, my.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
Friend, they're in for a treat to somebody who has
seen you perform. You are just fank for one of
my favorite performers. They're lucky to let's jump into the show.
We're lucky to have you too. What time is it,
my friends? It is tea time. Big breaking story at
the top of the show. Did he is demanding a
new trial, claiming he's just a voyeur and not a
(01:12):
pit please, so let me make this very clear. In
a shocking late night legal filing, did he is asking
a federal judge to throw out his convictions on two
counts two counts are violating the Man Act, arguing that
his role in the now infamous freak offs those sex
parties did not actually meets the legal definition of the crime.
(01:34):
His attorney went on to say, quote, he didn't have sex,
he didn't transport anybody, he didn't profit, He just watched.
Now the Man Act, let's explain this. Here is a
century old federal law that prohibits transporting individuals across state
lines for prostitution. But did His legal team insists that
(01:56):
he didn't arrange the travel, he didn't exchange more for sex,
and he didn't participate in the sex acts. That I
don't think the evidence concludes. We saw a lot of
evidence in the trial here. But the big picture to
me Corey is not that he is doing this or
whether or not this is going to actually work. It
(02:17):
is the fact that he feels entitled to this. He
just won't stop. He's a man I used to work
for him. He's somebody that does not take the answer no.
In my pr days when I was working with puff
If GQ or a magazine people magazine didn't want him,
he just kept trying and nine times out of ten Corey,
I hate to admit it, he succeeded.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Well, yes, but I will say this is very different
when it comes to the legal capacity of what's going
on here. This is not like a big PR move
for like a magazine shoot, and I think that's where
his lines are blurred. He's not really I don't think
understanding the severity of this. First of all, I think
they had too much time on their hands to kind
of come up with this wacky defense now right, and
I think it's going to work.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Well.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Guess what One of his big claims is that it
claims against him is that he recorded people having sex
without their knowledge. That is a felony, very serious crime.
So he can say even if he was just doing
it for his own personal gain, that alone is illegal
and it's a serious crime. So he's I don't know
if he thought this through, But none of this really
(03:16):
helps him.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Actually, I don't.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Think it's amazing with him because I think he has
been empowered by this verdict. We a lot of people
think that he got away with some of the most
serious crimes. He was found not guilty. We have to
respect the jury, we have to respect the system. But
when somebody feels like they beat the system, when somebody
(03:39):
feels like they get away, they don't. They get greedy,
They keep going, they keep trying. So he's asking a
judge to let him out of jail for fifty million
dollars bond he's going to put up. And now these
new bombshell that he wants the whole thing overturned. We're
not even going to get into it on this show
about a presidential part not us, but it is just
(04:02):
I think it makes a mockery of the legal system. Now,
I do like people that fight for themselves, and I
would encourage you to keep trying and when you get
noahs an answer, keep trying. However, this little bit of
self help advice has been perverted you. It's going to
be absolutely perverted, because what it's teaching people is if
(04:23):
you don't agree with the verdict, then you can change it.
If you don't like the facts, if you don't like
the decision, then you're allowed.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
To change it.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
And I'm not sure we can live in a world
like that. I do not like the verdict here, but
I gotta live with sure. I do like the oj
Simpson verdict, but you gotta live with it. Part of
being in the system, part of being in a society
is you have to respect the rule of law. You
have to respect the results. I don't think.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
Puff does no, and I think sometimes too. Another lesson
we should dress is sometimes, like the Kenny Song said,
you got to know when they fold them. I mean,
sometimes you walk away because you got lucky. It could
have been worse, right, so he avoided all the big crimes.
It's like, Yo, Puffy, did he whatever calling you this week?
Just go and really realize you dodged some serious dullets here.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Yeah, you did. That's the difference between you and me
and him. He don't think like that. Like you like,
don't push your luck. He pushes his luck. It drives
me mad because I know some very very pushy people.
I'm thinking of some of those real housewives, and often
they're bad behavior is rewarded. Yes, I've heard this happened
(05:37):
to me. People have just annoyed me so much. They've
given into them and they don't deserve that. People that
are decent and don't complain or scream or shout or
know that they've done something wrong. They're They're not not
the ones that I pay attention to. It's the squeaky
wheel and expression. The squeaky wheel gets the sarm. Oh
she was so annoying, But I used to always jump
(06:00):
for Jill when she called because she just bothered the
spirit definite Frank another one who's remote. I hate rewarding
bad behavior, and I hate to admit this. I think
often people that are pushy, people that behave badly often
to get their own.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
Yeah, yeah, they do it. It's unfortunate because then it
makes us think that it's the only way to go.
So what I would just like to stress is that
you can choose that way, but you have an opportunity
to say, I want to achieve mine with some dignity
and integrity, so I choose that way. Yes, you can
get it from being crazy and kicking and screaming and
being obnoxious, but can you can you look at yourself
(06:43):
the next day in the mirror. I prefer to be
able to look at myself when you tried.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
That's how I me too, to win by cheating. It's
not a real win, no, no, and that's what's going
on here. It feels to me as if Puff is
trying to cheat the system. And I don't think he's
gonna be able truth, but you never know. I didn't
think he was gonna be found not guilty on those
three really serious counts, and so you never know here,
(07:12):
which brings us to our whole question of the day.
Did he is demanding a new trial saying he's not
a pimp but rather a voyeur. He likes to look
at stuff. Will he succeed? What do you think? I
know you don't want him to succeed noughties, but that's
not the question right right. The question is do you
think he'll succeed? I gotta say maybe he actually could.
(07:34):
You never shouldn't count him out, and not for a
good reason. Hey, go vote on our Twitter page. I'd
naughty nice rob Our facebook page is naughty gossip and
be sure to take like a Monday to hear your results. Hey, Corey,
what are you working on now?
Speaker 3 (07:50):
This is a juicy story because I don't know if
it's I don't really know what's happening here, but it's
just in Trudeau. You know, there's a rumor that he
and Katie Perry are kind of doing something here in
a relationship potentially, but he was spotted front row at
her concert and that made the romance rumors explode even
more so. The former Canadian prime minister, who's fifty three
years old, he was front and center at Katie sold
(08:12):
out Lifetimes concert in Montreal this week, just days after
they were actually spotted on a romantic dinner date. Now
he was watching the thirteen time Grammy nominee light up
the Bell Sunster stage, mouthing along to Dark Horse like
he knew every word to it. He was even dancing
along his sixteen dancing along with his sixteen year old
daughter Ella Grace, who is clearly a Katy Perry fan,
(08:34):
and he was like all in. One of the eyewitnesses
has told hashtag shooter Scoop he was singing and smiling,
but almost like a doting boyfriend, almost maybe the way
like you know, Travis looks at looks at Taylor from
the side of the stage, so you never know. But
fans were really quick to be like, you know, hey,
that has some different reactions. One guy said, bro must
be down real bad if he's a front row with
(08:55):
a Katie concert. Now, that was pretty shady. But you
know what somebody else wrote, is she going to become
the president of Canada now? So you know, it will
be kind of funny to see where this relationship goes,
if it is a.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Relationship at all. But I don't know. You know, they're
both single now.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
She ended her ten year relationship right he left or
he separated from his wife a year ago.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
So I mean, why not what do you think of this?
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Why not I reporting yesterday and I'll have a follow
up today about this. Is they're not a couple? Just yes, Yeah,
Katie is smitten that she's absolutely goog eyes over him,
which he's a very good guy and smart and he
is the Prime Minister of a really cool guy. Yeah,
and so I totally get it. Hit This to him
was for night. This was he wanted to take his daughter.
(09:41):
They did have dinner together. That was a lot of
fun too, And so I'm told his people I spoke
to some of his friends, which believe it or not,
I know, which is so bizarre, But I'm told his
people told me it wasn't a date. Of course, had
dinner when a pop star like you know, someone like
Katie Perry invites you to their show, you say yes.
If they invite you to dinner, you say yes. They
(10:02):
want to point out that she invites you to do okay,
not the other way around, and though he picked up
the tab, but she's probably got mom man. Yeah, but
I love all these little details. I'm told she's very
interested and he's like you maybe I like her. Maybe,
But that's how all relationships start. It makes me laugh
when two people meet, When two celebrities meet, they're dating.
(10:24):
That isn't how relationships. No, No, if you wouldn't be
going for dinner, Cory, we're not dating. It's going to
take us a little while, right, does it happen like that?
Think about your own life? Where did you go for
dinner with somebody? And then with by by deserts?
Speaker 3 (10:39):
But that's that's a great point though, because also he
would be very cautious because he's had a year separation.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
She's got like what.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
A month they announced it, So that's way too soon
for someone to be considering even entering into a new relationship, right,
So I wouldn't advise him to do it anyway at
this point.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
That's slow slow. Let's see what happens when she leaves.
She doesn't live there. This is like a little bit
of a holiday romance. She's in town for the we
flinned and a little bit of a fling. And they
did not go home together. We we know that we
we had photographers following their cars. So they did not
go back to a hotel together. They went for a walk,
(11:17):
they had dinner. They had a two hour dinner. There's
about right two hours, an how and a half two hours,
and then they went for drinks in a bar. So
they went to a bar after two days later. It
doesn't have a fun night. Who would you wrong to
be with him or her?
Speaker 1 (11:32):
You know, that's a tough question. I mean, I think
she'd be more fun, I guess, you know.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
But if I were in my intellectual mode, and I
do have those, I would love to sit down with
the Prime Minister of the country.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
He's very smart. I like this. But once again, go slow, everybody.
You're going to hear all these roomors sit there a
couple they're together. It's not true. It's like when Tom
Brady met Giselle on a yacht and everybody was like,
they're all not Gizelle. When he met Sophia on a
yacht and all that. Oh yeah, d No, they were
on the same yacht. They went for dinner together. He
(12:05):
went to her concert, but let me remind you there
was thirty thousand people there with him. It wasn't a
private concert. And he took his door.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Yeah that's true.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Now, if he's dating her, he wouldn't have taken his
daughter way too soon. And they've had one date. So
if you put together all the pieces, not what you
want to believe, but the actual truth here. They went
for dinner. Was it a dinner day? Maybe, but they're
not dating at least not yet. Okay, moving along, Taron Egerton.
I love him. He's a really talented actor. He was
(12:34):
in the Elton John. He says no thanks to James Bond. However,
the James Bond people are pushing back saying you were
never asked. So there's lots of people out talking about
who should be the next James Bond. So remember MGM
Studios have been bought by Amazon, so Jeff Bezos is
now in charge of James Bond. He's going to pick
the next Bond. Or let's be clear, Lauren Sanchez is
(12:55):
going to pick.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Well, yeah, I heard that she's Actually they're trying to
get her in it as a Bond.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
She could be a Bond girl like she she could
be like whatever she wants. Her husband owns to the company,
so they're looking at new barns and he was doing
an interview Taran and he was asked about would you
do it? And he said, I think I'm too messy
for that. I do love that. He said, I love Bond,
but I wouldn't be that good at it and it
would be wasted. It would be totally wasted on me.
He said, I'm in a good place and he said,
(13:20):
I've done one of these spy movies before. So he says, no,
not for me. Maybe Henry Cavill. Maybe there's another Idris Elba,
Maybe there's other people out there that would be a
better fit. And so he did say all this. Yet
the bub people are like, very nice to know, but
you weren't ectly asked.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Well, listen, I'm not surprised at this point.
Speaker 3 (13:41):
And Jeff Bezos doesn't just cast himself as Bond.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
I mean he could, he could do it.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
He could his money. It's his money, Okay. Moving along,
Martha's Stewart, who I just love Martha she doesn't care.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
She just says, yeah, she's at that point now, like
John River, that point in her life where you could
just say whatever you why. She said, well, you know
she is to your point. She's eighty three years old.
That's the point where they give zero you know, what's
about what they feel and they just say it. So, yeah,
she's taking a swipe at Megan Markle and she says, quote,
I hope she knows what she's talking about.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Now.
Speaker 3 (14:13):
She's referring to the fact that, you know, Martha herself
has built this whole empire based on authenticity, and now
she's throwing some subtle shade at the royal turned influencer
who's now trying to have this new career that's very similar.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
To Martha, to Martha's career.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
And in a new interview, Martha says, you know, she
thinks that Megan she doesn't know her really well. She
said that, but she says, I hope she knows what
she's talking about, almost insinuating that Megan has no idea
how to do this lifestyle brand and how to head
a lifestyle brand. And she says, authenticity to me is everything,
and being knowledgeable about your subject matter is extremely important.
(14:50):
That's another shady dig. But she says, when it comes
to Gwyneth Paltrow, you know who's her neighbor in Montecito,
by the way, and she's the founder of Goop. Martha
praised her and said, you know, well, if they're successful
at this, and she's admired, she's powerful and she has
an asked her, which has nothing to do with the
lifestyle thing, to do. You know, I'm going to tell you,
I just don't like what It just seems like people
(15:10):
unnecessarily take digs at Megan Markle, like no one asked
like Martha to just be mean to Megan, like unnecessary
to me.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
I love that word. It's unnecessary. Let's be honest. Authenticity
is very important. Kindness is more important. Be kind like
you don't like a lot of people say I'm just
being authentical. I say it as it is, and I'm like, no,
you're being you don't need to say it. You don't
need to say it. I can say, you know, you
know what I would have done. I would have done
a Mariah Carey.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
I don't know her.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
I don't know exactly, Okay, I know you Naughtias and
we're going to take a quick break and we will
be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice.
I'm your hosts too, their dear friend Corry Andrew. Hey, Corey,
let's get to the party yesterday. We told you. Pam
Anderson and Liam Neeson's speaking of story is a total lie.
It is not happening. So they the movie a year ago.
(16:02):
We've not seen them in a year. So if they
fell in love on the movie, we would have spotted
them together a week before the movie comes out. The
suddenly wildly loved what happened? Where you've been for that year? Yeah,
you met on a movie set a year ago. I
was told they barely had any interaction after the movie
and then just before the movie comes out. And Hollywood
(16:23):
does this all the time. Hollywood does this all the time.
When I worked with Jennifer Lopez, she was doing Made
in Manhattan, and there was lots of rumor's lead that
she was very friendly with Ray Farrens all nonsense, And
for the six weeks the movies was in theaters, they
played along. After that, they've not seen you were that's publicist,
(16:44):
Have Aderson. I wish it was thrue. Liam lieson. I
wish it was true. Plus, let's remember in the last
year where he's allegedly been seeing her, he did an
interview where he said, I'm not interested in dating. He
just wouldn't have seen it if he had a love interest.
So why we want to believe this all the evidence?
It doesn't really look that good. So what did you think?
(17:05):
Did you fall for the PR spin seventy? Yes, they
did fall for this. It was convinced. Did you call?
Did you believe it?
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (17:13):
And I still think there could be something there. But
I do understand how Hollywood will do anything to sell
a film and these sort of planted PR stories, they
really are effective in many cases, so it will I think.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
We're talking about it.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
They work so good. Look to you, but don't hold
your breath. Let's talk in six weeks after the movie
leaves the cinema. Let's see this still kizzy, kissy. Then
don't forget to vote on today's polit page. I had
noughty nice rob Facebook page is naughty gossip. I'm be
sure to check back on Monday to hear your results.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
And now it's.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Voices.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
This is a really sweet story because I always root
for Lindsay Lohan you know, she's awesome, I think and
Lindsay Lohan has stunned Kelly Ripper by telling her that
she moved to Dubai because paparazzi photographs are ill legal there.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
I had no idea.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
So she was doing a candid appearance in Live on
Live with Kelly and Mark and a thirty nine year
old act. She stunned the studio audience when she explained
that her decision to move to do Bai back in
twenty fourteen had nothing to do with the exorbitant luxury
of the country, but everything to do with privacy because
you cannot take a picture of someone in a restaurant
without asking. It is illegal in the next part of
(18:22):
the world. Honey, they will throw you in jail and
they will ask questions later. So she's really like serious
about the safety of her child, and she said she
moved there because she doesn't have to worry about that
with her and her husband Badri Shamas doesn't have to
worry about it because the laws are so strict it
would prevent paparazzi behavior from photographing her and she feels
very safe there.
Speaker 2 (18:42):
Again again, the other pop for me is talking about
privacy on a television show. But you want to control.
It's a control. They want the publicity when they want
when they don't. And I also do have just a
few issues about these dictatorships, like if feels a little
bit trumpy to me that we're going to kill the press.
(19:04):
We don't like.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
It's very scary.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
We don't cover children on this show. We don't run
pictures of children. So I do get what she's saying,
so I'll give her the nicest of the day. But
I don't think it's a good look to talk about
privacy television while selling a movie. Thank you, Lindsey, I
not is the day. Adam Carola I like him. I've
known him for a long time. Big friends with Jimmy
Jimmy Kimmel and makes me laugh. His politics might not
(19:31):
be mine, but don't get into that on this show.
But he said that the Ellen staff were carrying with fear.
So he was a guest on The Ellen Show, and
he said he's never seen anything like it, but the
staff were deeply uncomfortable, and before he went on, a
staffer came running back into his dressing room three times,
really scared. I can see it. And he said Ellen's
just the meanest. Then you can tell it by the staff.
(19:52):
He said they were scarre death. I've been at her show.
I was there last time with Jessica Simpson and it
was a really bad advice. You knew something was off
the stuff were walking on. I don't think Ellen has
any idea this was going on, which is normally the case.
People don't know how toxic they are, but you can
tell if you walk into a room, a bar, a show,
(20:14):
you can feel the vibes and trust your good I
had the same experience. Let's end with a moment. Never
lower your standards to fit someone else's comfort zone. Your
standards exist for a reason. They reflect your worth, your growth,
your vision of the life that you deserve. So don't
shrink to make other people feel bigger. Don't dim your
(20:36):
light to make someone else feel comfortable in their shadow.
If they can't rise to meet you, they're not meant
to walk beside you. So protect your energy, honor your boundaries,
and remember you are not too much. You are just
in that. Hey, that is it for this week. Thank
(20:57):
you so much for listening. They're already been nice with
Robin Pory Show, a production of iHeartRadio and Alvis Durant
don't forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast,
wherever you listen, leave us a review if you can.
They really do help, and remember all together now, if
you're going to nice with Row,
