Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice shall welcome through the Naughty Bird Night Show. It
is Tuesday. I am Rob Shooter and every Tuesday a
dear friend, Miss Delane Dixon, joins us, Hey, Mry are
you there? I am what a morning? Where in the
(00:29):
world are you? I love You're constantly traveling. I never
know where you're going to be broadcasting from. Where are
you love? Oh? I'm in the lovely beaches of Sunny Isles,
Florida and it's absolutely divine down here. Is it a
work trip? Is it a vacation? What are you doing? No,
I'm visiting my friend. Samantha Pseudo Drucker celebrated her fiftieth
(00:52):
birthday this weekend. She's fabulous, She's written a book, and
she's just she's the best. She's the best. Happy Birthdays
and man Fellow's jump into the show. Hey my friends,
what time is it? It is tea time. Ellen de
Generals has issued a farewell message, basically saying, don't forget
(01:12):
we gave away almost half a billion dollars. So after
the eargly accusations about Ellen and her show, remember those
that behind the scenes toctic workplace environment accusations, Well after that,
Ellen is coming back for her final final season. The
show just released a new promo and it provides a
(01:33):
look back at some of the highlights over the past
two decades, including clips with George Clooney, Justin Timberlake, Julia Roberts,
and even Michelle Obama. They're just a fewer of the
four thousand tests who have sat down with Ellen over
the years. The clip also it's very interesting they don't
just focus on all the amazing celebrities. They also point
(01:57):
out that the show and Eleanor have given away almost
half a billion dollars over all these years, and they
have changed countless lives. So the new season starts in September,
but already this clip is out and it's sort of
like a press release, a video press release, reminding us
of all the fantastic things that Ellen has done and
(02:20):
certainly not focusing on any of the bad stuff. Is
this going to help her legacy? What do you think? Mr? Well,
you know, she's been on TV for almost twenty years,
and she did some really amazing things why she was
on television, So of course you're going to focus on
the positives. But no one is going to forget that
last summer she was accused of having an environment that
(02:42):
was a toxic workplace for many of the people on
the show, and she did own up to it. She
said that they were going to make changes and now
she wants to focus on the positives. And look, she
was on the show for a very long time. She's
established a career outside of hosting. She's producing, she has
so many products out there. So she's going to go
(03:04):
out on a high note. Whether we like it or not. Yeah,
I think she is. We talked about this briefly yesterday.
People are complicated. You're complicated. I'm complicated. We want simplicity
in a complicated world. So we often want heroes or villains.
What we don't want are people that are sort of
a little bit of both, and it is possible to
(03:25):
be both. None of us are angels and none of
us really are devils. Hopefully the good stuff we do
outweighs the bad stuff, but we've all got horrible moments
in our history. I think overall, Ellen's done an amazing job.
I really do. She's entertained us. She's made me feel
great for almost two decades dancing. We can't take away either,
(03:47):
what she's done for the gay community. It was amazing.
We forget how brave Ellen was coming out. I'm not
just singing her praises here. I understand there's some really
really bad stuff for the show, and it breaks my heart,
but it's all part of her legacy. You can't pick
just the good and you can't pick just the bad.
I think here we have to acknowledge both. Previously, Ellen
(04:11):
has said she wants the last season to be fantastic
and she wants it to be her chance to say
thank you, thank you. Every day is going to be
a celebration with lots of surprises and lots of trips
down memory lane, which brings us to our pole question
of the day. Ellen's farewell message seems to be that
(04:31):
she is given away almost half a billion billion dollars.
Will this help her legacy? Yes? Or no? Go vote
on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob or our
Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip. You can leave a
comment there and be sure to check back tomorrow to
hear your results. Mister, what are you working on that? Well?
Gwen Stefanie's latest photo editing work has rubbed some fans
(04:55):
the wrong way. Now let me explain this. She uploaded
a new profile pick on Twitter featuring a younger version
of herself next to a younger version of her new husband,
Blake Shelton at the two thousand and three c m
A Awards. You know, little photo shopping. Now, the problem
for some fans is that they claim that Gwen photo
(05:15):
shopped herself over Blake's ex wife, Kennet Williams, who was
married to her from two thousand and three to two
thousand and six, and they, Blake and Connette attended the
c m AS together back then. Now, of course, you know,
Gwen could have just photoshopped herself into a picture of
just Blake by himself. But fans are getting all up
(05:36):
in a Twitter or a tither, and one fan actually
wrote disrespectful and unnecessary. He had a life before you
no need to be jealous, Rob. Doesn't she get to
enjoy Blake? I mean, past, present, and future. I mean,
isn't that what marriage is all about? Yes? But you
know what you're doing, and you know it because I've
(05:58):
done it. I'm ashamed to admit this still. And I
were on the morning show and one of the co
hosts drove me insane, and she sat at the end
of the table and I used to post pictures. Maybe
I only did it once maybe twice on my social media,
and she always accidentally got edited out. You know what
I'm talking about, Mr, I did it on purpose, so
I always pretended, Oh, there wasn't just enough room in
(06:20):
the box in the profile picture to include all of us,
and so I just pushed the picture a little to
the left. Did I cut you out? Oh? I'm so sorry.
I didn't mean to. I knew exactly what I was doing. Gwen,
you know better. You know what you're doing here. You
gotta expect a reaction. Yes, your husband, you can do
whatever you want to get it. But the past made
(06:40):
him the man he is today. And of all the
pictures he's been a celebrity for a really long time.
You had to pick a picture of an event that
he attended with his wife. I looked at the picture.
She might have cropped her out, she really, I don't know.
It just makes me sort of giggling one way. It
makes me sad in and the misty if you meet
(07:01):
a new guy. Obviously we're not famous, so we're not
going them walking red carpets and doing stuff like that.
But when I moved in with Bruce, my husband when
we first started to date. I looked through an old
photo album. I did see pictures of him with excess.
They were not ex husbands, but they were definitely excess. Oh.
I wanted to get the scissors out of the drawer
and I wanted to cut them out of the I didn't,
(07:22):
but that's what I wanted to do. This is Gwen's
way of cutting the wife out degree or do you
think I'm no? My goodness, I burn all those photos.
Are you kidding me? That's the first thing I do
when I get in the house. I find them all
and I burn them. I'm the same. I don't want
to admit that that guy who talks so much about
a moment of rather being good people, But it's still
(07:42):
drives me crazy. So Gwen, naughty lady, you know what
you're up to. Moving along. Britney Spears has lost a
bid to immediately remove her dad from her conservatorship. So
her lawyer filed this immediate court document, this legal stuff,
and he wanted the dad out turned day. The judges said, Noah,
you cannot do that. Her lawyer was arguing, quote, every
(08:06):
day that passes as another day of avoidable harm and
prejudice for Miss Spears and her estates that they're saying
the dad is causing her mental health damage right now
and needs to go. The judges said absolutely not. They're
going to move forward with this and they're certainly going
to make the argument about why the dad should be removed,
(08:28):
but he's not going to be booted immediately. Now. I think, Mr,
I think what's happened here. We all want Brittany to
be free. We do. We did a poll yesterday. It
was overwhelming that were on Britney's side, not the dad. However,
legal experts I spoke to said Brittany might not like
her dad, but he's got to have done something wrong.
(08:49):
You can't just get rid of somebody because you don't
like them. He's the conservator. The dad's claiming everything he's
done has been Legit has been done with love. Now
people are furious about the money that he's made, but
he didn't steal it. That was all legal. It was
all in the documents. He's fee I think was sixteen fifteen,
sixteen thousand a month. All that was approved. So not
(09:11):
that that's not shady, it's sound shady, but it's actually
he's fee to be the conservative mystery. I fear moving forward,
it's actually going to be harder to get rid of
the dad than we think. Yeah, I think we all
thought as soon as she was able to pick her
own lawyer, that would be a done deal. She'd be
a freed woman. But yes, they have to legally prove
(09:32):
that he has done something wrong. She doesn't like what
he's doing. She emotionally doesn't like what he's doing, but
that doesn't mean he's done something legally wrong. And so
she's in for a long fight. But look, she's taken
the first step toward her freedom, and I think it's
just finding the right team of people to say this
is in her best interest and legally it's in her
(09:57):
best interests, and that's going to take more than just
a day. But hey, Brittany, we're behind you in the fight.
You know, you should have the life that you want
and not be dictated by someone who you feel isn't
in your best interest. What's going on with Christy? What's
happening with oh Chrissy Teagan? She has revealed that she
(10:19):
is in therapy twice a week now. This is what
she's revealed on social media since her online bullying scandal
got her canceled on Twitter, and she wrote kind of
a weird message. She said, really struggled with which one
to put first on the carousel. I believe she means Twitter.
I realized that I'm happy in twice weekly therapy and
(10:43):
perhaps let's bump it up to three. You know, Chrissie,
whatever gets you through the day, the week, you gotta
do it. But I mean, she can't complain. Her husband,
John Legend and herself attended former President Barack Obama's sixtieth
birthday bash that just happened in Martha Vineyard, and she
gave us a sneak peek of which she wore, which
(11:04):
was a flowing white down. So I guess she's talking
about how hard it is to go to you know,
Prey's Obama's birthday party. Oh now she looked fabulous. Well,
I'm told here inside is telling me she's not in
therapy because she feels like she's the victim here. So
don't think she's in therapy because she's been canceled. It's
very hard, and she's dealing with that. She's in therapy
(11:27):
to really deal with these underlying mean girl attacks that
we all know now Chrissie made and yes it was
several years ago, but she still wants to figure out
who was that girl and why she was doing it. So, Chrissy,
we wish you the best of lucky here gets to
the bottom of it. Honestly, when you lash out at somebody,
it's never about them, it's about you. When I'm really
(11:48):
mean to somebody, even if they've upset me, my reactions
about me, and you've got to figure out why am
I so Why am I so triggered? Why am I
so angry? What's going on? And you'll find, I think,
and certainly therapy can help you do this. You'll find
it has nothing to do with the person that upsets you.
It had to do with you and what happened in
your past. Listen to me getting all in all, Judge Judy,
(12:12):
listen to me, Dr Phil Okay, moving along quickly before
we get a break. Megan and Harry once considered moving
to New Zealand, so a year before they actually left
the Royal family. It's known as mexit, which is exit
with Megan exit, so a year before, a year before mexit,
the two of them visited New Zealand and now the
Governor General Patsy Ready has revealed to the AP the
(12:36):
Associated Press that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex talked
to her about the possibility of real locating to the
island in twenty eighteen. And now this is the reason
this is so important, is a the timeline is changing.
Harry and Megan said in that big Oprah interview that
they really did not plan this, but things got so
bad they had to leave. Now we're figuring out, well,
(12:57):
maybe you did sort of think about this before, particular,
like if you're talking about moving to New Zealand in
two thousand and eighteen. Clearly from the moment Megan entered
this family, they knew they couldn't continue with the status quo.
I'm not judging them on this. A New Zealand's absolutely beautiful.
I've never been there, but my friends that have been
(13:18):
they said it is just glorious. Do you think it
might have been a better move? Yeah, it would have
been a great place for them because it would have
been so much more at low profile. And let's take
a moment, just like everybody else in the world, when
they're deciding to take a move, they took out different
places it's just for Prince Harry and Megan. They checked
out different countries. New Zealand would have been a much
(13:41):
quieter lifestyle. But look, they wanted to go into media, television, movies,
and the place to do that is living next to Oprah. Yeah,
that's exactly what my sources tell me. Yes, they do
think they want this lovely, quiet lifestyle, but they also
want the fabulous lifestyle too, and they want to be
involved in TV and production, and the capital of the
(14:01):
world for that is Los Angeles, So I think they're
happy in l A. I think there's part of them
that would love to be in New Zealand, far away
from annoying people like you and me Misty reporting on them.
But I got to in it. Wherever they are in
the world, there's going to be reporters like they're just
that famous, and I think they just going to probably
be the case for the rest of their lives. Although
(14:23):
don't feel bad for them. They must be enjoying it
to some extent. Nobody made them sit down with Oprah
for a few hours. Nobody's making them write tell All books.
So if they did want to disappear, they could, and
they've chose not to so here they are in America. Hey,
we're going to take a quick break and we will
be all right now, welcome back to the Naughty but
(14:47):
shoot them with that friend, mister, Hey, misty, let's get
to the polls. Brittanys his farmer says there are no
grounds to remove him. Do you believe him or Brittany?
So that dad is saying no, I've done nothing wrong.
Brittany saying, get away from me. Who do you believe here?
Believe Brittany. I'm not surprised. I'm not surprised. As we
(15:09):
said earlier, this is not over and don't celebrate too quickly.
This is going to be a really ugly long legal battle,
legal battle mindsitest think Brittany is gonna win, but ultimately
it's up to the judge. Don't forget to vote on
today's poll. Go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nice
(15:29):
rob Our facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure
to check back tomorrow to hear your results are Now
it's time for the nicest of the day. Well, our
nice of the day is Katy Perry, even though she's
trolling her fiance Orlando Bloom over their vacation picks so
they've been so like all over Italy and stuff, and
(15:52):
they were posting photos on Instagram and she called out
Orlando for a social media foulk path So he posted
a slide show of pictures everyone's like him with his
dog and he was out with Katie for dinner, really
silly photos a slide show, and he captioned it with
lyrics from that tomorrow you know when the moon hits
(16:12):
your eye with a big piece of hyte. So Katie
slid into his comments to say, um, you forgot to
tag me, daddy. I mean, they're just having fun, and
that's the key. A little ribbing with your partner means
that you guys are happy together. So this is why
they're the nicest of the day. I just love it.
(16:34):
Does he bog you mistake? I never tag people. I
don't know why I don't do that. Maybe I should.
I think you get more followers if you tag people,
should get more eyes on the post. I don't tag people.
Just that book you mistake. Do you tag people? Sometimes?
I do? Sometimes I don't. If it's kind of work related,
I really try to make the effort. But if it's
just a pick for fun, people see it. And they
(16:56):
like it. They like it, they don't, they don't. I'm
cool with it. I'm the same. I'm the same. Hey
and now and naught us to the day. I love
this show called Naked and Afraid. It's where they put
people on an island and they have to survive, but
they're totally naked for like a week. Well now, viewers
are pointing out that there is a production gaff in
(17:17):
one of the episodes. So eagle eyed viewers spotted a
production assistant who is totally clothed standing in the background
with what appears to be some sort of rifle, So
one can only assume that he's a security personnel. And
if you think about it, these islands that they're put on,
these these islands are really dangerous. There's lots of wild
(17:39):
animals there and they have to make sure the cast
and the crew are not hurt during filming, and so
they do have security, fully dressed security around you think
about this, So you're on this island with somebody you
don't know, You've got to survive a week. We're totally naked.
And then I looked to my left and there's a
cameraman with his trousers on it must feel very, very awkward.
(18:03):
