Speaker 1 (00:08):
Sable Advice, Shoot spice nice. Welcome to the Naughty but Nishat.
I'm your host Rock Shooter with your friend Donny Meats
and joining us from l a from Okay magazine dot com. Donnie,
are you there? I am here Wednesday morning. I'm so
(00:28):
happy to be here and excited. Hello handsome, it is
your third weekend Okay Magazine dot com. How's it going?
It's gone wonderful. I have not completely messed up yet.
Have you got close to messing up? Have you spelled
a name wrong? What have you done? I have done
a few spelling mistakes, but that's natural. Google crexit for you.
That's right, and you do have an editor over there,
(00:50):
so thank goodness for that. Hey, congratulations. Did you hear
Miss D's mommy on the show yesterday? I did a
happy bird weat so I put a picture up a
Miss D's mommy and she got it heard of happy birthdays,
which is awfully sweet, and so she didn't really want
to say thank you. I sort of thought it'd be
a nice idea that she did, and so do Labor
got her to record it. I had to edit a
(01:11):
little bit of it. I mean, I hate to talk
behind people's backs. But she didn't sound as excited as
I wanted her too. Did you get that or is
she just more chilled than that? She's chill? She chilled.
She I don't know that. I think when we're when
we're in our seventies, she's seventy five, I think we'll
still be the same. Hey, do you know what time?
And it's Donny It is okay, So it's a big
(01:33):
exclusive from Naughty Gossip. That's my sight. You're not going
to hear it anywhere else. Big stars don't want to
join Tyra Banks in the ballroom. So the newer Dancing
with the Stars bosses Tyra Banks. She's not just the host,
she's the executive producer, which basically means she's the boss.
So she's in charge of the show, and she's having
(01:54):
a lot of trouble signing up a list talent to
put on their dancing too. As sources tell me quote,
part of the reason that Tyra was hired was because
they thought, or she at least implied, that she's going
to bring some big name people into the competition. Since
day one, the show has struggled to get really big celebrities.
(02:16):
Probably the biggest forgive me for saying it is Kin Kardashian,
but they've had some real duzi Is on there too.
In fact, some seasons when they announced them, I have
to google them, Dona. Well, that's not good at all.
So Tyra is having a trouble hard time signing up
some of her close celebrity friends. What are you think, Ton, Well,
here's the thing I mean, because Tira has been in
(02:36):
this business forever. She knows everyone, and I think she
was disillusioned in thinking she was going to be able
to call up Chrissie Teghim and be like, hey, girl,
come on the show. And people who are a list stars,
it's sad to say they don't want to do shows
like this. They're busy, they're working, and it's COVID things
are a little different. It is true, so sources tell
(02:58):
me Tyra and just has thought they could bring in
at least some big models like Heidi clum On Naomi Campbell.
But they also thought she could bring in the Demi
Levadis and the Justin Bieber's. It's not going to happen.
They don't want it to be just reality stars. I
love reality stars, but the show if it's going to
have a big relaunch with the Fabulous Tira. It really
(03:19):
needs to bring in some big stars. The show premiers
on September four, and I'm told at the moment there's
a lot of sort of maybe people, but not that
many people have actually said they would do it. I
spoke to some celebrities that have done it in the
past and they said it's one of the hardest jobs
they've ever had. If they have a CD out or
a movie or something on TV, they just go on
(03:40):
a talk show for two minutes. You don't really have
to prepare at all. When you do with Dancing with
the Stars, you have to Dad's every single day for
hours and hours and hours. And it's also it's is
it is good money. I think it's about two hundred
thousand to sign up, and then every week you stay
in the competition you get a big bump. I think
it's an extra sixty or seventy thousand every week. Also,
(04:03):
do they have announced the professional dancers. Some of them
are couples, and because of the quarantine rules during the competition,
the couples will not be allowed to live together. They've
all got to social distance, so if one person comes
down with the virus, it won't spread amongst the cast.
What would you feel like, Donnie if you were told
(04:23):
for work reasons that you had to live apart from
your significant other for a job. I mean, if we
were on good terms, I'd be upset. If we were
in bad terms right now in the quarantine, I'd be like,
I've looked at him for three months, Get him away
from me. But to tyrashe I'm no star, but I'm
available in l A. You can shake your hips to
(04:45):
Donnie Marvelous doing the chart charge up. Donnie does have
a fake kip. He broke his hip. So Donne's actually
only got one hip. We have two, but one's not real. Okay,
let's bring us to our pole. Question of the day,
Big stars don't want to join in Dancing with the
Stars with Tyra Banks. Should the show? I hate to
say this. Should it just be canceled? Is it over? Yes?
(05:07):
Or no? Go verte on our Twitter page at Naughty
Nice Rabble. On Facebook page Naughty Gossips, leave a comment
and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
What are you working on? DNA? All right, We're gonna
follow up to the whole Kim Kardashian Kanye West drama
that is going on. Well, Kim is actually back in
l A and Kanye is staying in Wyoming, So it
(05:28):
doesn't look like two we're going to be living together
anytime soon. The sources telling me that Kim is actually happy.
She wants to be here in l A. She wants
to stay here, and Kanye wants to live in Wyoming. Now,
Kim wants to focus on their marriage, but I'm just
I'm really confused and how you focus on a marriage
and stay so far apart from each other. It is tricky.
(05:51):
They've actually lived apart for a very long time, and
I don't want to judge people's marriages and what works
for them. I'm pretty traditional. The only thing that you
you all, it's not that unusual anymore about Bruce and Eyes.
That were two guys, But we live a really sort
of traditional life. Like it's really it's quite dull, but
I love it that way. Kim and Kanye do live apart,
(06:13):
and I think that's part of their success. It works
for them. So I think the biggest issue for these
two is not even going to be his presidential campaign.
It's gonna be where do they build a home. She
does not want to live in Wyoming. It's not Kim.
She's an l A girl and he doesn't want to
(06:34):
live in l A. I think destination is such a
big factor in couples. What about you, Donnie? Could you
have a long distance relationship? You can have a long
distance dating relationship, but once you're married, I think you
need to figure out what you're gonna do. You have
to live dow Bruce and I have to decide, like
was I going to come to the familous New York
(06:56):
City or is he going to come to Birmingham, England.
I arrived with two suitcases and hands and a dream
in my heart. Ryan Reynolds is super super rich. So
he's sold his aviation gin for six hundred and ten
million dollars. You didn't hear that wrong. Apparently he's getting
(07:17):
about three hundred million dollars up front. The other three
hundred million boo who over ten years. He's going to
stay on as the brand ambassador, the face of the brand.
He sent out a very cheeky out of office email
saying he didn't realize he wasn't getting all the money
up front, and now that he's realized he's only getting
half of it. He's not in the same league as
George Clooney. George got a billion dollars for his tequila brand. Donny,
(07:43):
is this crazy that celebrities now are earning more money
endorsing products than making movies. What do you think? I
think the celebrities have found that this is the way
to make money. Is you endorse these products, you put
your name on these companies. I'm sure Ryan had of
four over you know, money in the beginning to help
jump start the company, so he's getting it paid back.
(08:05):
I actually respect Ryan and the company because a little
side notice, at the beginning of this pandemic, a lot
of the alcohol companies were giving grants. They called them
to bartenders out of work. Well, I actually received a
grant from Aviation gen that was specifically for LGBT bartenders
in New York. So I have a lot of respect
for Ryan in this starting that's really lovely and he
(08:27):
didn't do it any publicity about it. Had had it
been Spinning Girls Skinny Girl, oh, she would have put
out a press release. I mean, Bethany does do good work,
but there's no doubt she does like a little thank
you for it, like Bethany doesn't do it behind the scenes.
That's lovely that he did that onto a serious subject, Dotty.
We try not to do that many serious subjects on
the show. We get you just want to giggle for
(08:49):
twenty minutes or so. So do we have a chat
about some celebrity gossip. But this is a bit serious.
What's going on with Cuba Gooding Junior Donny well Beiginni Jr.
He was accused of a two thousand and thirteen rape
in a new civil lawsuit Jane Doe. So the woman's
name is not out there. She actually she accused the
actor of raping her in two thousand and thirteen in
(09:10):
a Soho hotel room. So the incident allegedly happened after
she met Cuba Gooding in the V I P section
of a lounge in Greenwage Village in August of that year.
So the star allegedly invited the woman back to his
hotel room because he wanted to change clothes. Well, the
woman says that once they got into the room, Cuba
(09:31):
turned on the music and then he started to undress,
even though she asked, can I leave the room? The
suit goes onto alleged that one he was completely naked,
and that Cuba Gooding jun her forcibly and without consent,
put one hand to the woman stop and another one
up her dress after she repeatedly said no, but he
did not stop. And to be a little vulgar here,
(09:54):
but we've got to be with the truth. The suit
claims that the actor then allegedly raped the woman both
vaginally and anally, and then after the alleged incident, the
woman she left the hotel room to go downstairs and
be with her friends. Wow, we've got a statement from
his attorney, Mark J. Hella. It said the following, The
allegations are completely false. In fact, the defendant was never
(10:18):
served with a complaint setting forth the allegations, which purportedly
reportedly are over seven years old. I think after the
Weinstein trial, this whole, this whole, this whole sort of
legal matter has changed greatly. Before Weinstein, prosecutors were very,
(10:39):
very hesitant taken on cases that were this old. They
also to tried not to take on a case without
a perfect and I used that word in quote because
none of us are perfect. But without a perfect witness,
nobody ever is. These stories are always very very complicated.
Will keep you in the loop as this one progresses.
(11:02):
Britney Spears is also in a little bit of legal
legal difficulty herself because now it is being reported that
she opposes her father returning as the conservator. So Brittany
is requesting that her father, Jamie Spears, is removed as
the conservator after twelve years. That's a long time. This
(11:22):
is she's doing in court documents obtained by our friends
that US Weekly. Her attorney filed these in l A saying,
quote Miss Spiers is quote strongly opposed to having her
father returned as the conservatur We should note that Brittany
is not not demanding or not even asking that the
conservatorship ends entirely. So that's very different from the Free
(11:46):
Britney movement. What she's asking is that Jody Montgomery remains
as the conservat tour. What do you think, Donny, it's
it's but the Free Britney movement here was saying was
that you people behind Brittany would prop her up and
they would have her do concerts, and they would have
her do the biggest two words, yeah, sort of taking
(12:06):
advantage of but they were claiming that she wasn't free,
and she didn't and she wanted to be free. What
we're finding out today is that she does not want
the conservatorship to end. She just doesn't want her dad
running it. I actually think that might be a good idea.
I think that that is the key statement is there,
is that Brittany is an adult and she's making the
adult decision here to say, I know that I still
(12:29):
need some sort of help. I just do not want
help from this specific person at this time, and she
should have it. It's her money, it's an allowance of
her own money. They broke down her expenses last year.
Do you know what her number one expensive her expense was, No,
I mean I wish it was. I would enjoy it
more to tell that story. It was lawyer fees. So
(12:50):
while this is going on, Brittany spent over a million
dollars last year in legal fees. That's where all the
money is going to go. She clearly knows that she
needs some help in her live and I think having
somebody that she can pick, somebody that's qualified to is
a really good idea. In my years working with celebrities,
managers who are relatives never ever seem to work out
(13:14):
I'm thinking particularly about Jessica Simpson. When I worked for Jessica,
John Simpson was not a very terribly well crafted, knowledgeable manager,
but he got the job because he was her dad.
I've also known people that higher wives and husbands, and
it just never seems a good fit. Donnie, would you
ever let a relative of yours run your business? Now?
(13:35):
I am a firm believer you do not mix business
and pleasure and family. They just never works out. It's
two day personal. It is personal, isn't it. And then
also to the problem with Jessica and I guess any
relative who's a manager is that you can never WinCE
with the agent and the publicist all disagree with the
manager and he's not a relation, then you can all
(13:57):
have a debate about it. We could never beat Joe
because he's her dad. You weren't arguing with the manager.
You're arguing with someone's father or boyfriend or husband or wife,
and it just makes things too complicated. I also to
it isn't a job that I would want. I wouldn't
want to earn fiftcent of money off my love one.
(14:18):
It just doesn't feel I don't know, I might be
wrong on this, one, and I'm certainly open for that.
Some people have small family businesses or large family businesses
and to get along really well and it works beautifully
for them. Let me know what you think about that.
I'm really really curious, Donnie. We're going to take a
quick break. We will be right back. Welcome out. Feel
(14:40):
the naughty but nice share on the host from Shooter
with our friend Donnie meets them from Okay magazine dot com. Donnie,
let's get to the polls. Okay, So yesterday you're singing.
Yesterday we talked about Laurie Laughlin's daughter is planning to
throw them a very special goodbye mommy is going to
jail party. What do you think about that? Is it
(15:02):
a stupid idea? Or is it sweet? Wow? Said stupid?
Only seven percent think it's sweet. Let's have a little
look on Facebook. See what's going on there. Megan Green
and Hello Megan from Atlanta, Georgia. That picture of you
and your daughter is just darling. You two are so cute.
Let's read what you have to say. How long will
(15:25):
they be going to jail? I haven't been keeping up, Megan.
I take attendance to the class every day, and you're
going to get an f No, it's all fine around here.
We get it. We get people being busy. There's never
a silly question on our show. It looks like she's
going to go to jail for about two months and
her husband's going to go to jail for about five months.
Hope that answers that. What have you got, Donnie? My
(15:47):
response from Jordan and Brian. Hello, Georgian, Jordan, I'll be
seeing you on virtual zoom Yoga on Thursday, you and
Georgian and doing yoga together as a friend of ours
teaches yoga on zoom Out together. Sean Den, will you
get a picture of Donnie doing the downward dog? I'll
give you five dollars, thank you very much. What does
(16:08):
Jordan have to say? Jordan said, I would do the same. Oh,
I think you know. I was talking about this with
Mr Yesterday Donny. At first I thought it was so silly,
But then again, if I was going to not see
my mom for two months, hopefully shouldn't be going to jail,
should be going on a fabulous cruise. But I would
want to say goodbye, So it actually makes a little
bit more sense than I thought. Nemra Am I saying
(16:31):
that right, Donnie, and oh that's sorry, never Rick, sorry
about that. Never Ricks pointing out that yesterday was giant
oatmeal cream pie Day. Sounds delicious by the look at
that on your Facebook. You had a good time yesterday.
Neverick said the following, I'd be so embarrassed for myself
(16:52):
that I wouldn't allow my children to do this. Such
an interesting point Memorick is making. I only thought about
it from Olivia's point of view, Actually from Laurie Lackling's
point of view. Gosh, this must be awful. I don't
think i'd want to party if I was the mom.
Would you want a big party? Dance Danny before you
(17:12):
go to jail. I'm graduating from my master Don't be
a party. I'm going to jail. Don't tell me your party.
Don't party. Okay, don't forget To vote on today's poll,
you can go to our Twitter page Naughty Nice rom
or you can go to our Facebook page and laughty
Gossip and leave a comment and missure to check back
tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's time for
(17:32):
the nicest of the day. It's actually Cape Middleton's brother's
dog Ella. Yes, the beautiful black Cocker Spaniels are nice
to the day Because came out with his younger brother.
He opened up about his struggles with depression, which is
very brave of him, but he also says that his
dogs is what helps him cope with the troubled times
(17:55):
in his life. Now you have Derby, you have a dog,
has to Starby really kind of help you throughout life.
It's so interesting. I wouldn't say Derby has saved my life,
but he's made my life definitely better having somebody that
loves you unconditionally. Derby loves me if I'm fat, or
if I'm skinny, if my breath smells all, my hair's
a mess. It's really lovely to walk into an apartment
(18:18):
and have a living, live creature. Sorry, Bruce, Bruce isn't
as excited to see me as Derby as it really
makes my day. I don't know for me, having a
dog makes life better. Are you going to get a dog? Dog, Donny?
When you settle into l A almost called me Derby.
I did almost call you, which is really a compliment.
It's a great cup of it. I grew up a
(18:40):
dog to my whole life, and so yes, I'm looking
at apartments now out here and part of the criteria
it has to be dog friendly. Oh, I hope Mulligan's listening.
Mulligan's mascot okay now and naughtiest of the day shame.
It's not the right jingle, but I do like it,
so you could keep doing it. But it in the
script it says naughty, We'll let shame go okay, So
(19:04):
Ellen degenerous is the naughtiest of anday not Ellen personally. Actually,
some people out there because we have been re tweeting
a tweet that she put out eleven years ago, it's
gone viral. Let me explain. So over a decade ago,
Ellen tweeted the following quote, I made one of my
employees cry like a baby on Today Show. Honestly it
(19:26):
felt good. Well, now, obviously we're reading that tweet quite differently,
but if you're actually look into what happened, this was
a viewer turned employee who was called onto an episode
and Ellen ended up giving her gifting her a Caribean cruise.
She was so happy, Donnie that she had tears of joy.
(19:47):
So that's why Ellen wrote, I made one of my
employees cry today like a baby on today's show, and
it felt so good. I'm not defending Ellen's behavior, but
I am very much, very very sort of like, we've
gotta be stripped about this. We've got to get the
facts right. We can't make stuff up. So that's what
that twitter twitter twitter tweeter tweet twet tweet is about.
(20:10):
So that's how naughties of the day. And with that said,
it's time for a moment of a rob Thank you
very much. We're trying to make your lap for twenty minutes,
but for a moment where a little bit more serious.
Think about all the people that you've brushed off in
your past or even today. Think about the assistant who
got you a cup of coffee and you didn't say
(20:31):
thank you, or the receptionist whose name you've never bothered
to learn, or the waiter you're snapped at during lunch.
By the way, I've had all of those jobs. I've
been an assistant, and a receptionist and a waiter. Well,
every one of those people might one day play an
important role in your future, so treat them well now.
(20:53):
And it might probably, I would even say, will pay off. Donnie,
has anybody been in your life that you were nice too,
that you didn't have to be nice too, but you
went out of your way to be nice to and
they actually ended up changing your life. Is there anyone, Yes,
I'm not just you know, kissing your ass because I'm
talking to you, but I'm going to say you it's
when we met. I mean, I didn't know that it
(21:14):
would it would. You've really helped me along the way,
help people have that. So sweet of you. Thank you, Donnie.
I've had friends too that have been really helpful for me. Bruce,
my husband, Bruce isn't really a very successful songwriter, but
he fought Dotty's first gig because he was nice to
a friend of a friend and they got him the
first gig. You never ever know. It's surprising people that
(21:37):
were a little sharp with me, and they don't know
this and they never should although they might be listening.
They're a bit sharp with me. And then a couple
of years later people have asked me about them given
them a job. Somebody I know recently who was really
vile to me. Um, he didn't put me down as
a reference clearly, but I knew the person that was hiring,
and I said, have you if you got any interesting
(21:58):
people applying and she said he's name. I know I
didn't say anything as a good boy, but it is interesting.
You never know when people are going to pop up,
so please please treat people like you want to be
treated yourself. That's it for today. Thank you, Donnie, and
congratulations and Okay magazine dot com thank you for listening
to the Naughty but Nice with Rob Show, a production
(22:19):
of I Heart Radio. Don't forget to subscribe on the
I Heart Radio app, Apple podcast or wherever you listen
and leave us a review, Donnie. I saw this review
from Naomi Burton, who said the following, listen to this.
I had the pleasure of working with Rob on a
private sting concert. All the swell Brits were there and
Rob was such a pleasure to work with. So happy
(22:41):
to find his podcast brings back lovely memories. I that
is such a good example, Donnie. I just been nice.
You never know when it's going to come back. Thank
you so much, Naomi. We are glad. We are glad
to have you back and all together. Now, if you're
get to be naughty nice nas take care of the
running here Rob. It's goney but nice with Rob
