Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice, Sure's.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Love and love.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Hello, welcome to the Naughty But I sham your host,
Rob Shooter, And it is Tuesday morning, which means our
dear friend Miss d is back from La a world
win trip to La. Welcome home, Delila Dixon.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
I am and I had such a great day because
I got to hang out with the Donny.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
I love him, I love it. I saw a picture
I posted it on the on the Naughty Facebook page.
You two look adorable together. You were out there, though,
to see Jesus Christ Superstar Synthia a real.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yes, actually amazing. And we haven't seen Jesus Christ Superstar
where a woman stars in the role. So this was
such an interesting idea. But Adam Lambert, Raoul Esperanza my
little manheart. Oh he just stole my heart. Everybody was incredible,
once in a lifetime experience. So glad I was there.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Wow, rawlis Baras who you know from CSI or those
Law and Order shows. He lives in my building. I
know I see him. I haven't seen him for weeks.
He's been in LA. But oh, mister, do you think
it'll come to Broadway? I don't know if this cast
will do that, though, I think it's just three performances.
They don't want to do like six months.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yeah, they have so many other projects they're not going
to come and do this. I mean, Cynthia's got books,
She's get Wicked for Good coming out in November. This
was just a once in a lifetime deal to step
in and do something different and new. And it was
Andrew Lloyd Webber Co signs. So that was the most
important thing.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Wow wow Wow. Well, while you were away, I lost
my theater partner. I went to see Billy Porter in Camaie.
We went to see Eddie Redmand together, and I think
we saw Adam Lambert together at Cabaret. Well, Billy Porter's
in the show now. I think it's closing in eight
weeks and he's there to close the show. I got
to say, he's my favorite of all of them. Sings
like a demon. He sings that role and he's so flamboyant.
(02:05):
If you know him from Pose the TV Show or
Kinky Boots, you know that Billy Porter puts in one
hundred percent. Edny Red name was fantastic. Adam Lambert, who
you just saw, mister fantastic. My favorite, though, was Billy Porter.
You have a chance to see Cabaret before it closes
in eight nine, ten weeks. Go and see it and
say hello, Helloa loa to Billy Porter. Okay, let's jump
(02:27):
into the show. What time is it? My friends say,
is tea time? Big story at the top of the show.
We know Blake Lively's biggest fear. So we know a
lot's been going on with the lawsuits. Just a few
days ago, she did a deposition that's where you have
to answer questions. They're normally videos, lots of lawyers there.
Now her legal team are claiming that Justin leaked information
(02:47):
to the press about the deposition, including what she was wearing,
and they painted her as somebody very needy. She turned
up with a gaggle of lawyers, and they painted Justin
as just thereby himself. That wasn't quite true. Justin had
a gaggle of lawyers too. And so this bickering, this
pettiness is going back and forth, and I think really
taking away from a very very serious accusation here, sexual harassment,
(03:12):
assault accusations that are not to be laughed at. But
somehow this story has become so so odd, maybe so silly.
It shouldn't be. It's very, very important. Now we know
that Blake's biggest fear is that her old friend they're
no longer close anymore, Taylor Swift might be writing a
breakup anthem about her. So Taylor is no and misty
(03:34):
for her breakup aanthems. When she breaks up with the guy,
we always get a song. We always love them. She
gets like number one records with these songs. And it's
because it's about your feelings. It's awful, isn't it when
you break up with somebody. I would argue that breaking
up with a boyfriend and girlfriend, it really is awful,
But breaking up with a friend is even harder. To
break up with somebody you've been friends with for maybe
(03:56):
a decade, and you're no longer speaking, you no longer
have yet. I don't know, if I know, I don't
think Taylor's ever done that before. All her breakup songs
have been about love, have been about romance, have been
about boyfriends. I don't think they've had a song from
Taylor about breaking up with a friend. That's the song
I want to hear, and Blake does not want us
(04:18):
to hear it all. What do you think? Well?
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I did a little deep dive into Taylor Swift, and
she actually has done a couple of breakup songs about friendships.
Most notably would be bad Blood, which is supposed to
be about Katie.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Harry remember that song.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
And she's also written a song about that's allegedly about
Kim Kardashian, but they weren't really hanging out as friends.
So I think that Blake actually has a valid fear
that Taylor does take her life experiences just like most
of us do, but she turns them into actual songs
(04:55):
that becomes top hits that you know, sell records and
and people do very deep dives to find out who
they're about. So Blake might have a very valid fear here.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
It's a very valid point. I mean, it's a little
bit of a double edge songed here. Part of me
would love to have a song about me in the
top ten on the radio. Everyone all that song's about
Rob Shooter. However, what do you do for the song's
not very nice about me? It's a really difficult Blake
likes attention, she likes publicity, she likes being Blake Lively.
There is nothing that cements you in the world of
(05:28):
celebrity pop culture than having a Taylor Swift song SNL
SNL making fun of you and Taylor Swift writing a
song about you. They're the two biggest things in pop culture.
That's better than being on the cover of People magazine.
That is huge because it lasts forever. Magazine. It's gone
in a week, isn't it? And so these songs last forever.
(05:49):
I can understand here why Blake is nervous. Thank you
for pointing that. Atmosty I forgot you'll write that Katie
Perry song was huge. I love that song about bad Bloe.
Taylor most likely will do this. I do think that
Blake's fears are valiant. This probably will happen. At some point.
(06:09):
Taylor's going to want to let us know what happened
to this friendship. She's not said a word about it.
She distanced herself from Blake, she removed herself from Blake's world,
but she's never spoken about it. I don't think Taylor
will ever sit down with Oprah Winfrey or one of
the big big interviewers and do a big interview about this.
I don't sing in that as being her style. She's
(06:30):
not going to sit down with the Rolling Stone magazine.
Vanity fair and talk about this. She'll do it in song.
She's only going to talk about Blake in song ANDVN.
She doesn't even name her, so we'll all be guessing.
But it will be really really interesting to hear her
points of view about this, which brings us to our
whole question of the day. Blake Lively is biggest fear?
Is Taylor Swift writing a staving breakup anthem about these
(06:52):
two their relationship? What do you think will she do? It?
Is Blake right to be worried. I think we know
the answer this one. Okay, go and votes on a
Twitter page at Naughty Noise rom Our Facebook page is
Naughty Gossip. I'm sure to check back town mal Raua
to hear your results. Hey Misty, where do you work
(07:15):
it up?
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Well, you know, we usually don't get into politics, but
we do have to talk about this story because it's
the intersection of politics and celebrity. So I'm talking about
Sydney Sweeney. She has been invited to the White House
and it is set off a news storm in Hollywood.
Insiders are deeply divided over the rising stars political ties
(07:36):
and being a rising star in Hollywood. So as we know,
she made headlines recently because she did that American Eagle
Denim ad and kind of the theme of it. People
are just talking about what it was, saying, you can
go watch the ad and make your own decisions. She
got some reaction from Donald Trump, who's currently president. He
(07:58):
called her hot, and she's been celebrated by his party. Now,
of course, Rob, you're always in the know, so you know.
She's been invited to a White House cultural event later
this fall, hosted by members of the administration, focused on
young voices shaping American media and fashion. But of course
(08:19):
we know that Hollywood tends to lean democratics or not.
Everyone is cheering. In fact, I found out I found
out that a producer is saying that he won't cast
her because of these high profile political ties. So, I mean,
this is just getting crazy. I mean, how do we
deal how do celebrities deal with the fact that they
(08:40):
have their own opinions, they have their own political ties,
which they're allowed to do this is America, and also
be stars.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Yeah, it's very complicated, and we don't do politics on
the show. We try to be inclusive of everybody. But
when the President of the United States is talking about
a gene commercial. That's what he's focusing on, which he
is and trashing Taylor Swift in the say, I think
you have to believe you're being used a little bit.
And so if you're invited to the White House, normally
it's a great honor and you're there to serve your nation.
(09:08):
But if you're invited just to be used as a
prop to score a political point, I'm not sure if
I would accept this or not. It is so complicated.
She did a commercial, a really controversial commercial. They wanted
it to be commercial. Remember when Brookshields did her Calvin
Kline commercials when she was like sixteen or seventeen, how
controversial they were. These young brands want to get people
(09:30):
talking about them, and Sydney certainly did. However, because so
much was focused on her, then some nosy people checked
out her background and really dug really really deep here,
mystic and found out that she is a registered Republican.
Perfectly fair, it's what her right is. You're allowed to
vote for whoever you want. Well, then when the President
(09:51):
found that out, he then jumped on this. And he's
got the biggest microphone in the world. So what was
a celebrity drama. Now it turned into a global story
thanks to the president's microphone. It is very tricky. She's
in a very difficult position. Hollywood is quite liberal, as
you pointed out, mister. I hope this doesn't cost her
(10:14):
her work. And I hate we're in this place as
a country where if we're with one party or another,
the other side is going to literally cancel us. And
it works both ways here, but using people as props
for your own political agenda, using their celebrity, well, maybe
even to distract when things are not going very well,
when maybe inflation's not good and prices are not great
(10:36):
and everything you promised hasn't really happened. Maybe it's good.
And Jeffrey Epstein, let's not forget about him, Oh my goodness.
Maybe it's all a big distraction. The problem is is
that Sydney's in the middle of this. She hasn't said
anything yet, but it'll be interesting to see what happens. Okay,
moving along, we have a new billion dollar romance Jeffes
arsd Leonardo DiCaprio hanging out together. We spotted them on
(10:59):
his luxury yacht. You know how much is yacht is worth?
Misting four hundred and eighty five million. It's half a
billion dollars on a yacht. They're together now. Source isn't
saying they got quite close, very very quickly. Leo was
at the wedding and they've been really now a sort
of very very good friends, texting, emailing each other. Now
on vacation together. Leo's with his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez Missus.
(11:22):
Bezos is there too, and there's some speculation that maybe
Leo might be in the next Bond. Wow, let me explain.
So Jeff Bezos bought MGM Studios that it's been rebranded
now into Amazon MGM Studios. What's their biggest property. What
do MGM Studios own forever James Bond where we know
Daniel Craig is leaving the franchise. They're looking right now,
(11:44):
they're actively looking for a new new Bond. A person
ultimately that's going to sign off on this is Jeff
Bezos and Laura. Let's be clear, a lot that's going
to have a say in this too. Maybe Leo's up
for that. What my sources are telling me this is
probably not the right fit for Bond. They might want
somebody a little bit younger than Leo, but Jeff now
runs a movie company, a studio, and Leo does have projects,
(12:09):
lots and lots of projects, lots and lots of ideas. Miss.
I know you have four different scripts at the moment
you're working on. Wouldn't you like to have somebody like
Jeff Bezos on your speed dial? Wouldn't you go on
vacation with Jeff Bezos and then over breakfast on that
luxury art You'd be like, Oh, Jeff, I've got an
idea for a movie. That's how deals get done. Anybody
(12:29):
that tells you otherwise, mister, is not telling you the
truth or being naive. If you can sit down with
the decision maker the money, the person that controls the money.
If I can get ten minutes or half an hour,
two minutes with that person, you grab it. And it
doesn't matter if you're Leonardo DiCaprio or Robshooter, Ye grab it.
That's what Leo's doing.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Absolutely, It's all about the green light, and so you
have to get it from the person at the top.
And that's what Leo's doing. I don't think he's up
for bond a lot of people. First of all, it
is a man's job because you're investing in the next
ten to twenty years of your life. And if you
watch Leo on the trailer for his new movie on
Battle after the Other, he looks a little died.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
He's like, I'm not taking that fifty now.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
And Tom Holland is kind of in the running to
be the next Bond. But anyway, Yes, when you get
an opportunity to sit down with the decision maker, and yes,
get invited on a four hundred million dollar yacht, you
know you and I would be there eating the papaca
and saying, God, wait, I got this little book, I
got this little screw.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Oh that's how it all happens, Missy. I've been in
the pr world, the celebrity world for a really long time.
It happens over a drink of botinos. Yeah, I made
my biggest deals. I got my book deal at drinks
at botinas. None of this pitching. And you know, when
I think we really all have a struggle on our resumes,
on our LinkedIn, we really wanted to be perfect, And
I'm like, all that's important. I'm not dismissing that. But
(13:53):
if you can get just a few minutes with the
decision maker, if you can sit down. Whenever my boss
is called Misty, I jump. You know that if my
boss is are in Tan from Australia and my former
boss from Australia is coming to New York in a
couple of weeks, I'll drop everything because not only do
I want to see him, he's great. You never know
a friend of yours, mister, a boss of yours recently
texted me someone that you worked with on media takeout,
(14:15):
and so I'm gonna call him back and I definitely
will have a cup of coffee. I don't want to
do it over the phone, but if I sit down
with him for twenty minutes, I know we'll have some
sort of what he wants. I might not want, but
I've got several little projects that I want him to promote.
And so I always go into the meetings like Leo,
thinking what do I want? I know what he wants,
what do I want? And somehow we can blend the
(14:37):
two together and we can both walk away winners. That's
how you do it. You've become very good at this
miss thing. I've got to admit, when I met you ten
fifteen years ago, you had no game. You had a
lot of talent, but no game. Now you've got games.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
Oh you're so sweet, And I think the most important
thing that you just said. If people take anything away
from this, it's not about the email, not even about
the phone call. If you can actually physically be in
the room with the person. That's why people say deals
are made of with golf, because you're there. You can
read body language, you can have the laughs together, and
(15:11):
you're interacting not just through words, but through everything. How
you look, you talk, your handguesters, and that's what seals
the deal.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
So that's right.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
Get in the room where it happens.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Get in the room where it happens. Okay, Lorties, you
were in the room right now, and so are me
and Misty hanging out together. We're going to take a
quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
to the Naughty but Nisha, I'm your hostom Shooter with
idear friend mister hey missive, let's get to the pole.
Yesterday show, we talked about Orlando Bloom and Katie Perry
(15:46):
have spoken and he's really really, really cool with all
the rumors about her and the Canadian former prime minister
who I mispronounced Naughties. His name is just in true, Duck,
got it, I said true to do to Drew. It
is just in true, Joe. I think I've got that right.
(16:09):
I hope I have. Thank you to the naughties that
reach out to me. You don't insult me at all, Honestly,
don't feel bad for reaching out. You all have my email.
If we get something wrong, or if we mispronounce a word, honestly,
do not be shy about it. I welcome all this stuff.
I welcome, welcome the feedback. My email is the naughty
gossip at aol dot com. They normally gossip at aol
(16:30):
dot com. So now we have his right name. We
want to know what you think. Would you be cool
if folks thought one of your exes was dating so
quickly so Justin and Katie they've started to see each other.
I wouldn't call it dating yet. Orlando's fine with him.
Orlando's really cool with it. Would you be cooled to
if your ex moved on this fast? Seventy percent said no,
(16:53):
it's very quick. Miss. Now, what we don't know is that, yes,
they've officially only broken up for a few weeks, but
the relationship has really been over for about six seven months.
So it's a little longer than that's the key. It
has been. Before they announced it to the world, it
was already done, and so I do get that this
does look fast. However, Orlando is pretty cool about it.
(17:14):
Naughty is you would not be Okay, don't forget to
vote on today's pole. Go out to a page. I'd
naughty nice Rob. Her Facebook page is naughty Gossip. I'm
sure to check back tomorrow toa here. Your results are now. Ooh,
and nic nic of.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
The day, Well, our nicest of the day is Jennifer Aniston.
It's because of her deflection, so she wants you to
focus on her dry shampoo and not her new man.
So she put this little funny thing on her Instagram
where she's ruffling through a cluttered brown swede purse, you know,
to promote her new Lolave hair care line. And it
(17:51):
wasn't just about selling the product, because she started dating
this forty nine year old wellness guru and hypnotist Jim Curtis.
So Jennifer's a smart woman, and all the insiders are
saying she knew exactly what she was doing. It's the
perse perfect lookover at here, what I'm doing over here?
Don't look at my new man. And nothing she does
(18:13):
is accidental. She's a pro. Is she showed you a
mess because she doesn't want you looking at any other
other Gee, I'm not gonna say messes because I want
this to be happy for her. But what else she's
trying to hide? Oh?
Speaker 1 (18:26):
I love the Jennifer. You are a wizard. It's very, very,
very very private. The fact you're showing us what's in
your purse the same time we were alsoping about your
new romance, so we know what you're doing and we
are here for it. And nicest the other day, and
she's the day naughty, naughty, naughty. Sarah Ferguson is ready
to dump Prince Andrew. What took you so long? So
inside is the same. When you've lost Fergie, it's over.
If he's too toxic for Sarah Ferguson, it is over.
(18:49):
There's a new book out called entitled It's a really,
really harsh book about him, Jeffrey Ensley, calling him sex obsessed,
calling him a pervert, really really outrageous allegations in the book.
The House of York is under fire, and it looks
like Fergie is finally ready to say goodbye. He divorced
(19:10):
a long time, but she still lives with him, maybe
not for much longer. And notice the day. Let's end
with a moment. Forgiveness doesn't mean you accept what they did. No,
it doesn't. It doesn't mean you're okay with it, and
it doesn't mean that they were right. And it doesn't
erase the pain. Forgiveness means what happened no longer controls you.
(19:33):
That's simple. That's what forgiveness means. It's not about them.
It's about you taking back your power, releasing the weight,
breaking free from anger, the resentment, the grip of the past.
You forgive to heal, mister, not to excuse, because you
deserve peace more than you deserve to stay stuck once again.
(19:59):
Forgiveness does not mean you accept what they did. Very
very important. Hey, that is it for today. Thank you
so much for listening. They're not even nice with Robert
mist Show, a production of Elvis Durant and iHeartRadio di
If you get to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app Apple
podcast forever listen, leave us a review if you can.
(20:19):
They really do help and remember altogether. Now, if you're
going to the normal thing, take care everybody Bye. It's
not even nice with Rom.
