Speaker 1 (00:09):
Vice.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Sure, it's nice.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Hello, welcome to the Naughty but Nice. I'm your host
from Shoot Around. It is Tuesday, which means our dear
friend Elaine and Dixon joins us, he mis, da are
you there?
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Of course it's Tuesday too, He's going to be.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Here Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday. We have a ton of gossip
to get to a big exclusive interview that's out there.
Jennifer Anderson has sat down with Vanity Fair, So let's
jump right in. What time is it? My friends? It
is see time. So Jenna sat down with Vanity Fair,
and he's really opening up. Jen has do lots of
interviews over the years, including Vanity Fair before, but she's
(00:51):
never really been this honest. She's talking about Brad Pitt,
she's talking about Angelina, Joe Lee, she's talking about Greyneth
Paltrow used to date Brad Pitt. Really juicy, juicy stuff.
But I think what is fascinating is we have Brad's reaction.
Sauces tell us that Brad is flattered that Jen and
(01:11):
Gwyneth talk about him. So in this interview, she admits
that when she gets with Gwyneth, they do have a
little bit of a chat about about Brad because they
don't share incredible moments. She said, they like reminiscing and
they are girls. That's her quote. She said, yes, of
course we talk about him. Brad sauces are telling me
(01:33):
this makes him kind of happy. It's lovely to have
people reminisce about you, even if they saying stuff that
might be a little bit cheeky. It's better than being ignored. Mister.
Everyone's like, oh, I don't like Garsie. If I don't
like it, the alternative is just to be ignored. That
isn't so great either. So they do chat about Brad.
He's flattered, he wishes them well. I think it's very
(01:55):
very interesting too. She does talk quite gently. But for
Jen this is a big thing. She never talks about
Angelina Jolie. She called it a quote love triangle, and
she talked about how she took it very very personally,
and she said all the coverage, all the magazine covers,
she said she was aware about all of them, and
(02:18):
it was a really personal, really really difficult time for her.
She didn't go any further than that, but I do
like the Jenny starting to loosen up a little bit.
She's quite uptight isn't she we cover all the celebrities mistake.
Genza always been the hardest to get any information, and
she keeps us attle really really tight. She doesn't gossip
(02:39):
that much with her friends, and the friends she does
gossip to keep it within the circle. But it is
nice to have a little insight into Jen's real life.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I think everybody gets to that point where they want
to talk about their lives a little bit, be a
little bit more honest, and I think for Jennifer Aniston,
she's just at that point in her life. We know
she's been seeing a new mayor and so she's a
lot more comfortable right now.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
And yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
Mean girls do talk about their exes. I'm not gonna
lie it's true. I don't think she and Gwen get
together all the time and talk about Brad. It's not
like the first thing on their minds, but he might
come up in the conversations when they're talking about relationships
and dating. Of course, we know Gwen is remarried now
and she's happy, and again Jen's got a new man.
(03:25):
But yeah, it's great to see a little insight into
her life. And I think the only thing that I
worry about is whenever Jen or Brad mention each other
or see each other, every time they've been connected in
a place we think they're getting back together.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
It's not going to happen, guys, So don't even start it.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Does internet about them having some kind of reunion. She's
just talking about where she is as a woman.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yeah, what do you think wrong?
Speaker 3 (03:49):
You're absolutely right. You're got to see some shady stories
this week that they're friends again, they're talking again. Not true.
My sources said. He was flattered. He's obviously read the story.
He's interested in Jen. She was a big part of
his life. And it's easier for Jen to talk about
this now because even though it's twenty years ago. He
started talking up with Angelina Joe Lee in two thousand
and five, so it's twenty years ago. It didn't have
(04:11):
a fairytale endine. In fact, the ending is really really ugly.
So I'm not saying Jen has that little bit of
lie I told you so attitude, But it does help
that the end of that story wasn't the fairytale, because
that would be very hard to swallow. It's very very difficult,
and so I think the fact that that relationship is
(04:31):
now over and not just over spectacularly over. They really
dislike each other. That makes it easier for Jen to
talk about this. I think it's good to talk about
your past. Obviously, we all have secrets, and we all
have very sensitive things that we would rather keep a
little bit more personal. But the fact she's doing this
(04:52):
with Vanity Fair, we know she's doing it with Greenoth.
We've known that for years and there's been reporting about that.
We know that Jen loves to gossip with a fraid.
She loves to know what's going on. They all do,
these celebrities that have attended like, oh I hate gossip.
You're the first to be rushing out to buy us
weekly in all the magazines, and so I love that
(05:13):
Finally she's in a place where I can she can
sit down with Vanity Fair, that's a big outlet, and
tell her story. She looks incredible. She doesn't talk much
about her new love, which makes me believe this interview
was done three months ago. When you do an interview
with Vanity Fair, it takes a long time for it
to come out. This is why the monthly magazines are
(05:33):
dying to death. By the time they actually hit the
new stands. It was three months ago that you did
the photo shoot and the interview, So three months ago.
I don't think Jen was talking about the new boyfriend
at all. That's a very recent phenomenon, so he's not
in the story. But I do like she's doing it.
She looks fantastic. She's always going to be Jen. She's
just America's sweetheart. I just want the best for her.
(05:57):
She pulls up my heartstrings like a family member. She's
somebody that I thinks. We've seen her on TV. We've
watched watch her grower. We wanted her get married, we
watched her get divorced, we watched her get married again.
We've seen her life come up and down and up
and down. It seems to be in a really, really
good place at the moment, which brings us to our
whole question of the day. Brad Pitt isn't rolling his
(06:22):
eyes over his famous exes talking about him. He's smiling
about it. Would it be flattered if your exes gossiped
about you? Or I'd be a bit nervous, Miss d
If two of my exist together, I think ultimately I
would be flattered. What do you think? It depends on
what they say. That's the point she had nice things
(06:43):
to say here I think, what do you think? Hey?
Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob.
Her Facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to
check back tomorrow to hear your results. He misdy, what
are you working on?
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Well, we're going to talk about Kelly Clark because she
is in no shape for her talk show return this September. Basically,
she's running on empty. You know, she has had it
rough over the last few months. She's weathered a beautiful,
a brutal year. She's juggling single motherhood, she's dealing with
the death of her ex husband, Brandon Blackstock, and the
(07:19):
all consuming workload of hosting, producing, and promoting The Kelly
Clarkson Show.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
Now. She moved to New York.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
In twenty twenty three from Los Angeles, and it was
supposed to be to eject fresh energy into the series,
but instead the transition took a bigger toll than expected.
Because she's a perfectionist, That's what insiders are telling us.
She gives her everything to her guests and her audience,
but by the time the camera stopped rolling, there's nothing
(07:48):
left for her. So if she doesn't slow down, she
risks a burning out completely and she's pro but she's
also human And of course Kelly Clarkson love her fans,
but right now she needs.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
To love herself.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Robbie always have the inside scoop. So what's going on
with Kelly.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
Really rough time. I think we're all putting all our
all our eggs into the basket that her husband tragically
passed away, and that is a major part here of
why Kelly is going through a really, really rough period.
But it's more than that. This is something that has
been going on a long time since the divorce and
then the diagnosis. She's known he's been sick for a while,
(08:31):
juggling motherhood, juggling being a single mom, juggling your egg
So you had very complicated feelings about It was a
really ugly divorce, including a brutal custody custody battle, and
money was involved. And I think Kelly is trying to
figure out who she is. She's forty two years old
and we all know her as that bubbly person who
(08:54):
won American Idol, and it's a role that she plays
and it is part of who she is. But she's
a lot more implicated then that we all I were
allowed to not always be so happy. I don't think
her life is where she wants it to be. And
there's nothing like a death to really really give you pause,
and it really makes you realize time is very very short,
(09:16):
and so you gotta find your happiness. You're forty two
years old. Her husband, her ex husband, only lived six
more years. So find your happiness today because tomorrow is
not guaranteed. I do think this is very dangerous though,
because we know she's running on fumes. We've seen that
her show is back in September, Delena, it's August. We're
(09:40):
not talking months, we're talking weeks now. Before the show premieeres.
There's lots of pre production meetings, there's lots of fit in,
so she doesn't just start in three or four weeks
the show is live. She'll be back at work in
probably two or three weeks. The staff is probably back
already booking guests. That show is so so big. They
(10:00):
don't just wake up on Monday morning and put on
a show. It's planned weeks months in advance. Kelly's probably
already got all rehearsals with her band. She's gonna sit
down and decide one song, she's gonna there's just so
much on her plate that now's the minute where I
think she needs nothing. She just needs to sit and
just figure this ugly moment out, and she's not gonna
(10:21):
get that opportunity. We've worked on morning shows, mister, we
know the stress, we know the amoun of work. It's
not just as easy as doing an hour a day
on a show. When you see these celebrities hosting shows,
you're like, oh, it's an hour, we watch it in
an hour, and it sort of finishes quickly after that hour.
That isn't the case here. It takes hours and hours
(10:42):
and hours of pre production to get that show up
and running, which means she's gonna start work. I was
told literally in the next ten days. Not enough time. Mistake,
that's not enough time.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Yeah. I think for Kelly Clarkson, it might be a
Wendy Williams situation where we actually see people coming in
and substituting for her over the course of time, maybe
even at the start of the show, so she has
more time to deal with the grief over a death
of somebody that you were close to, the father of
her children, and just more time to figure out what
(11:16):
she's going to do next. So we've talked about her
being at that point where she's ready to end this
part of her life. And if she decides to announce,
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but towards the end
of next of the end of the season, come next year,
we might just be hearing her saying, this is my
last year, so let's make her most of it.
Speaker 3 (11:35):
I really do think we could, and I just want
her to get through this and protect herself. It's going
to be rough, but she's back at work. Not in
month's mystery. We're talking weeks, okay, moving along. Madonna has
vanished from the public eye. So the Queena pop has disappeared.
It's no accident. Sources are saying she has retreated to
her New York town. How she owns a massive town
has in New Yorkshire, surrounded by her trusted staff and
(11:58):
a handful of friends. She does I want to be
photographed anymore, not unless she is flawless. She wants to
protect her legacy. She has just finished her massive, massive tour.
She had that very very dangerous bacterial infection. It was
nearly fatal, and now the sixty six year old is
avoiding the public sources say she might never perform again.
(12:18):
It's really trickily because these stars, there's so much video footage,
photographs of them really singing and dancing in their twenties
and thirties and forties and fifties. And Madonna, because she's
had such a long career, there are decades of photographs
of Madonna. So Madonna has literally watched herself age in
a way that we don't. When you look in the mirror,
(12:39):
you're like, oh, I don't look the same as I
did ten years ago, but there's not video footage of
me around the world. So I'm told agent's been very,
very difficult for Madonna. When she's at home, she can
control how often she looks in the mirror, she can
control her own lighting, she can control what photographs we see,
those photographs she puts out, those very heavily filtered photographs.
(13:01):
I'm told Madonna's struggling, really struggling with this. So I
think she wants to put out an image that she's
proud and she's going to really be be a force
of nature for people as they age. But internally, I'm
told it's a really difficult time for Madonna. So she's
a very private individual. We don't get to see her
very very much. As it is, I think we're going
(13:23):
to get to see Madonna less and less. Some stars
do this. Some stars have that real Greta Garbo moment
where they retreat from the public eye and they disappear.
Others don't stop performing, like Rod Stewart and else like
they're just always out there. It's interesting that men, though,
men seem to go on into their eighties where women
(13:44):
are not really allowed to as much as there's a
double standard, mysty what do you think?
Speaker 1 (13:48):
And I think that what you just said is the
key there. Right as women, we kind of feel that
we have to maintain this image. But Madonna, listen, first
of all, we know your birthday is this Saturday, August sixteenth,
the day same day as my mom, and you gotta
do what my well almost eighty year old mom does.
Just be proud of how you look. You are a
beautiful woman, and you need to come out and say, look,
(14:11):
I am proud of the age that I am. We
get older and there is nothing you can do about it.
So I am going if I have to choose between
being beautiful or alive, choose a love a lot, and
I'm sure you look great, so put yourself off in
a corner.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
That's not how you live your life.
Speaker 3 (14:29):
Now.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Of course, she has billions, so she can probably create
a whole world for herself. But it makes me sad
that she feels that she can't come out and be
the person.
Speaker 2 (14:38):
That she is.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
Sad.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
It's like I said, my advice to Madonna is just to,
you know, slap on a little lip gloss and a
little lash and say what you see is what you
get in aging is beautiful.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Beautiful, And let's be honest, Madonna, You've got nothing to prove.
You don't have to prove anything. You've proved everything already.
You are Madonna. That's enough. It is enough. Okay, we're
gonna take a quick break and we will be right back.
Welcome back to They're not even I sham your hair,
Stop shooting my dear friend. Mister hey, miss d let's
get to the polls. Due last show, he talked about
(15:11):
Howard Stern shutting down whispers that his serious XM show
is going to collapse, is ending. Our question was quite simple,
do you think he'll be canceled? Will Howard be canceled?
Sixty percent? Said, yes, you do think this could happen
to earn so much money. The numbers are not there anymore.
But the thing that makes me believe he won't be
canceled is if they were going to cancel him, we
(15:34):
would know by now. No company, even if you're Howard Stern,
minds saying goodbye when they've decided that they're not going
to renew your contract. It's pretty harsh. It's goodbye, miss
d And so the fact that that has not happened
yet and negotiations are still going on, I think they'll
come to a solution here. I do. He might have
to take a little bit less money, he might have
(15:56):
to do a little bit more work. But I think
here there will be a salt because he wants to stay,
they want him to stay. If that's the case, if
both parties want this to happen, then you're just got
to figure out the details. So don't forget to vote
on today's Paul. Go to our Twitter page, Ady Nice
Rob facebook page is Nordy Gossip and be sure to
(16:16):
check that down Maraua to hear your results. And now
it's time for and Nicest of the Day.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Nicest of the Day it's my favorite part.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Okay, So our nicest of the day is Simon Cowell
because the America's Got Talent Judge. He posted a rare
Instagram snap of himself lounging on account and he had
four furry friends with him. But it wasn't just an
adorable picture. He revealed the names of his dogs, so
he wrote, wishing everyone a nice weekend from me, Squidly, Diddley,
(16:52):
Daisy and Purble. Okay, so the Internet lost their mind.
Squidly and Diddley have to be the best pet names I've.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
Ever heard one fan gosh.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
Well, of course, people are saying that these pups need
to become an act and go on AGT and people
just love seeing it. The grumpy cold judge have this
warm moment. Our nicest of the day is Simon and
his fabulous very friends.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
Great names, great names are nices of the day are
now naughty? Naughty? Naughty. Jennifer Anderson is talking about Matthew
Perry in that Vanity Fair interview, saying we've been mourning
him for a really long time. Just to be clear here,
neither Jennifer or Matthew are anus of the day. Drug
addiction is what we are saying here. It's just an awful,
(17:39):
awful disease. Jenny's opening up about it, saying that she
actually believes his passion might be better for him. He
was in a lot of pain, she said. They were
very aware that this decade long addiction battle had been
really hard for him to fight, and the cast mates
did everything they could to help. But she said the
following quote, it almost felt like we've been mourning Matthew
(18:02):
for a long time. I'm glad he's out of that pain.
They knew, mister. You know, when somebody is in trouble
for over a decade. They were all aware of this.
They had to mourn him because he wasn't around. When
people are on drugs, they're not themselves, they're not there,
they're not present, And so for a long time they
(18:22):
had mourned Matthew. But I'm sure when he finally passed
it still was a tragic, tragic shark. A source told
me they never gave upon him. But there is some
comfort knowing that finally he is resting in peace. And
what is the day. Let's end with a moment. Don't
wish for it, work for it. Wishing might spark the dream,
(18:45):
but the work is what makes it real. No amount
of hoping, mister, or waiting your daydreaming, we'll get you there.
It's the early mornings, the late nights, the consistent effort
when nobody is watching. So stop waiting for it to
happen and start working to make it happen. Because dreams
don't come true by magic, they come true by muscle. Hey,
(19:11):
that is it for today. Thank you so much for
listening to the Naudy but Nice with Rob and Miss
d Show, a production of iHeartRadio and Alvis Duran. Don't
