Speaker 1 (00:08):
Scab Advice. Welcome to the Naughty but Night Show. It
is Tuesday. I'm your host, Rob Shoes. A. Mry is afterday.
She's traveling. So we're lucky enough to have our friends
JT from The Daily Mail TV join us. JT are
you there? I am hi? Rob? How are you very well?
(00:29):
My friend? It's lovely to have you back. We've missed you.
What's happening over at the Daily Mail? What's popping? What
stories are Are everybody going nuts? Well? Oh, I mean
last week's exclusive with Pam Anderson and that just rolled out.
Everybody was talking about the wedding and then we did
broke it up into three parts, so all things Pam
Anderson has been the talk of the town all over
the place. It's a fantastic was that your scoople? Was
(00:52):
it somebody on your team? It was someone on my team?
But I was a part of that meeting, so it
felt cool to know before the world isn't exciting. When
I used to work for US Weekly magazine, I used
to get to see their covers. They close their covers
on a Monday, so it hits news stands on a Wednesday.
But all the magazines people in touch us weekly. They
all close on Monday. I used to be in the
(01:12):
meetings on the Monday so I would know the cover.
I used to sit there all goodness, gratious. I couldn't
say a word, but it's sort of exciting. It feels
like you've wrapped a little gift up, doesn't it a
couple of days before Christmas? Absolutely, and then everybody gets
to open it. Hey, my friend, what time is it?
It is t T Thank you Big exclusive at the
top of the show. So Bravo has already rejected joeju
(01:35):
tchis new reality show. So Joe he got deported. He's
in Italy. He was married to Teresa on the Real
Housewives of New Jersey. Now he's in Italy and he's
starting up a new shower. So it's going to be
a dating show him in Italy. I'm assuming it's going
to be in English. I think he speaks Italian, but
you never know. And that this is what's so interesting
(01:57):
about this. So we've all seen the headlines yesterday exploded
Joe is doing a new reality show. You can talk
about this to JT. A lot of people tape pilots.
I've done a million of a million of them. The
difficult part is not actually taping a pilot, it's selling it.
So you've got to sell it to a network. I
spoke to top sources yesterday at Bravo and they told
(02:19):
me they're not interested in Joe or a reality show.
All their shows have to appeal to a female demographic.
They don't really want a guy in Italy looking for love.
It might work on a different network, but it's certainly
not coming back to Bravo. Also too, they made it
very clear this is not a brother show. They're not
paying for it, they're not developing it. It has nothing
(02:42):
to do with them. So Joe, I think, is going
to produce it himself and then shop it around to
the different networks. Do you think he'll sell this? What
do you think? I don't know. I don't think so.
I think people are more in favor of Teresa and
her daughters, and the kids are at such an age
where you want to know more about their lives. They're
they're kind of young adults, and what he did to her.
I think a lot of people kind of resent Joe.
(03:05):
You know, he left Teresa, the girls, put her in
that compromising situation, put her in jail and then you know,
I think a lot of people feel for the woman
in the situation, and particularly Teresa because they love her.
She's a fan favorite over on Real Housewaves of New Jersey.
She really is. Just to remind you what the pair
of them did do? I mean, both of them did
go to jail here convicted of bankruptcy, fraud, OUCH conspiracy
(03:28):
to commit mail fraud why a fraud, and failing to
pay their taxes. I mean, it's quite a laundry list.
She has bounced back though, she's back on the show.
She is a fan favorite. Let me give you a
little bit of inside information here is so so cheeky,
but I'm happy to share. You've always got to see
it from a woman's perspective on television and in magazines.
Let me give you the best example I know when
(03:51):
Owen Wilson attempted suicide. Do you remember that when he
when he tried to kill himself to the cover of
US Weekly was not about Owen. It was hate nightmare.
At the time, he was dating Kate Hudson. So the
way to sell more magazines was to take the story
and make it about the female. So really smart magazines
(04:12):
do that If you walk past the newsstand, you'll notice
men are never on the cover of magazines, even men's magazines.
Esquire and GQ put a fair share of women on
the covers, women by women, men by women. Who is
buying men? Gay? Men like women? We all like to
see the fashion. It's so interesting. That's why it's very
very rare to see a guy on the cover of
(04:34):
a magazine. I don't know. I wish you well, Joe.
I do you've served your time? I believe in seconds,
but I don't think this one's going to sell. What
about you? Brings us to our pole question of the
day Bramo has already rejected. Joe dou teaches new reality
dating show Would you watch? Would you watch? Yes or no? Go?
Vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob facebook
(04:55):
page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back
tomorrow to hear your results. States he Love. What are
you working on that? Oh? Here comes the bride rob
So Gail King's daughter Kirby Bumpus has tied the knot so.
The TV host revealed on CBS this morning that the
thirties year old got married at her godmother, Oprah Winfrey's
multimillion dollar California estate. Very chic. King explained that her
(05:20):
ex husband William Bumpus, were not allowed inside the Montecito
mansion due to COVID nineteen restrictions. Quote it's tough to
see your daughter get married and not be able to hug,
she said, referring to the social distancing rules. Winfrey and
her partner stead MONCD Graham were also present for the
big day. So question for you, Rob, do you know
anyone that got married during the pandemic and had to
scale back because of COVID? I know you have a
(05:42):
partner and you're married, So if you had to do
it again and we happened to be in a pandemic,
would you ever get married during a pandemic? I think
I would do the legal part, so I might just
go to the church or maybe the registry office here
in New Yorker, maybe do over zoom. And my friend
Pete did get married during the pandemic, so I do
know some but he did a zoom ceremony. What I
think i'd do, particularly if I was like Gwen and
(06:04):
Blake or j lo A Rod, I think I'd do
the legal part. I think I'd get technically married, and
then I'd throw an normal celebration, a big party after
after all this is over. Do you think Gail paid
for this wedding? What do you think Oprah picked up
the bill? Like if you if I let you get
married at my apartment? Am I stuck with the bill
(06:26):
for the shrimp? Like Oprah's the godmother? I feel like
the godmothers just love the children as if they're their own.
So I feel like Oprah is going to go in
there and do her thing, do the Oprah thing. You
get a shrimp, you get, you get a shrimp, even
if it's with just four people. But then, you know,
I'm sure that Gail had, you know, paid for the
wedding a little bit, you know, either she's covered. Yeah,
(06:49):
I bet you. Gayle said, Oh, Oprah, let me let
me write you a check. Do you ever do that.
I've got some really rich friends, not a lot, but
I do have a few really rich friends. And whenever
we go for dinner, dread because they always want to
go to a great, great restaurant. You know, you can
get wonderful food in New York without paying a fortune
for it. But they're sort of a bit snobby and
then when the check comes, I always offer to pay,
(07:12):
and once or twice they've said yes, and hydreadics. It's
so expensive. I don't want to pay sixty dollars for
a ball the past there, it's just crazy for me.
But it's honestly, there is a downside to having rich friends.
I wonder who paid for this wedding, this story, this story,
Let's see what you think about this. So Annada Armas
has broken up with Ben Affleck, and now she's deleted
(07:33):
her Twitter account. So sources say they were having problems
a while back. They actually broke up before in the fall,
got back together back and forth, spent the pandemic together.
We've all seen the pictures of them walking around the neighborhood.
Now they're over. She's deleted her Twitter account. My sources
are telling me she didn't really like all this attention.
(07:54):
When you get together with Ben Affleck, suddenly you're on
the cover of the weekly magazines. People are suddenly paying
you a lot more attention. She thinks of herself as
an actress fair enough, not a celebrity, and so she
doesn't want any part of this. When you break up
with somebody j T. If you have do you like
to hide or do you like to go back out
there and tell the world Hello. You know, I'm not
(08:15):
going to announce my breakup because I'm not a public
figure like that, But like I'm not going to go
into hiding either. You know, you just gotta move forward
and hopefully, you know, love will come around again. I
think it will also to I think I wouldn't delete
my Twitter. I just stopped using it for a little bit.
There's there's months when I'm really into social media. I
really enjoy it, and there's summons when I just want
(08:36):
a little break. But deleted it's pretty final, though, Yeah,
I think that's pretty final. I think like a social
media detox is good, especially if, like in her situation,
she's in the public eye. I get it. You don't
want to see the naysayers comments. So take a beat,
take two weeks off, a month, whatever, But don't delete
it because then there's more speculation, and then I want
to know more what's happening. I know I did check though.
(08:57):
She's still on Instagram. What are you you? Twitter? Instagram, Facebook?
All three? Which one do you like the best? I'm Instagram,
I'm not on Twitter. I should be, um, and Facebook.
I keep it because of work stuff and other things,
but I feel like it's kind of like dying in
its own way. So I think more people are visual
and TikTok's news. So I'm learning TikTok, which is actually
kind of fun. Um. I love the videos and and
(09:19):
the cool tricks and hacks people post. So that's been
a lot, like very entertaining for me. Oh, I love it.
How do we follow you on Instagram? Your Instagram account? Oh?
My Instagram is mr dot j t n y c. Oh,
what's going on with Greed Stefani? Mr? Well, this collar
back girl has some news because she and Blake Shelton
(09:41):
are getting married. So back in October, um Blake finally
popped the question after the duo got together while working
as coaches on the Voice in So Get this. Miley
Cyrus comes into the picture because there was a social
media exchange after Gwen responded to a video of Miley
complimenting her Stefani Roe quote talented jeez, and that's when
(10:03):
Miley Cyrus she responded and she said, Um, it would
be great to headline and entertain your guests at your
soon to be star studded event. Okay, the wedding, and
so this whole Twitter exchange went back and forth. She said,
also at Gwen at Blake, I'll be your wedding singer.
I promised you to be on my best behavior or worst,
whatever you want. It's your special day. Chairs to loving
(10:24):
you both almost as much as you love each other
cracks me up, Gueen. Gwen seemed to appreciate the gesture,
saying thanks, puppy. So if a celeb like Miley tweeted
you and offered to sing at your wedding, would you
say yes? I mean, it's kind of unpredictable. It's a
good question. No. I didn't have anybody famous at my wedding.
We know a few famous people. I didn't really want
(10:47):
anybody famous there because it always becomes about them, and
even when they try to blend in, my mother would
be going over and taking pictures. My brother would want
to dance with you, Like I just I didn't really
want anybody famous, famous, famous at my wedding. So we
really had friends and family, all of which were treated
like they were famous and important because they are in
(11:09):
my eyes. I don't have many celebrity friends. I know
a lot of famous people, because of what I do
for a living, and I do enjoy having drinks with them,
but to be honest, I sort of keep them at
arms length. You've worked in this business now, J two
a long time. Celebrities are tricky, be honest. We don't
have to say bad things about them, but they're very
(11:29):
self absorbed and you know, generally, and they're quite difficult
to be around. Think of the most annoying person in
your life that's not famous. Just think of that person.
That person is what it's like hanging out with the celebrity.
Am I wrong? That's actually a really great comparison. And
you're so right. And this person is sticking out of
my head right now, and I can't stop grinning. Oh my.
(11:51):
And you can tell them to go away ignoring when
there're a celebrity, you really can't, or if you do,
they just don't stop. So it's a mixed bag. Like
part of me wants to be around fame is people
because it makes me feel better about myself. It makes
me feel more important. You feel like, oh my goodness,
I'm so close to stardom. Maybe it will rub off
on me. It never does, It never does, And so
(12:12):
in the end, all you end up with is a
really annoying person that you're pretending to be friends with
but really doesn't care about you. Does that make sense,
Oh yeah, that totally makes sense. Like they're definitely self
absorbed and it's always about them at the end of
the day. Come on, it's a little annoyed. Honestly. I
know we all wish to be friends with our favorite celebrity.
(12:33):
Don't don't. Don't meet them. It's always disappointed. I know.
I know. I was such a Madonna fan. I'm still
a fan of her music, I think, but I've met
her now a couple of times and she wasn't really
that nice. And I didn't mind that because I wanted
her to sort of be a bit tough like Madonna,
But afterwards I didn't feel the same about her. Don't
meet it's always disappointed, even if they're good people, because
(12:54):
they can't be the person sitting at dinner that they
are on stage selling out the O two in Britain.
Stage they've got fireworks and costumes and makeup and everything
out of their mouth is scripted so it's witty and funny,
and when they sing their songs, they've got their lyrics there.
They didn't write those lyrics, so they're they're sort of
really well created, but take all that away and they're
(13:16):
just as dull as me. That's true. I know quickly
now you can come back quickly before we go to
break the Bachelorette Dale Moss remember him while he found
his way again to a camera to give us another
another expose about how he's feeling JT. This is the
(13:40):
third video he's made. We've talked on this show how
contractually he's not allowed to do mainstream press. He has
to get permission to do that from ABC, and they
don't want him out there. However. Social media, Yeah, they're
very strict and if you if you break the rules,
you'll be sewered. But what they can't stop you doing
evidently is social media. Social media. So he's back on
(14:01):
Instagram this time he's crying, saying he has so much guilt.
He's breaking down in tears. He's lucky to have his
friends and his family. Everything sucks at the moment, so
much guilt. It's been a learning experience. He still doesn't
actually tell us why, and they're broken up. He denies
the cheesing rumors. Dale step away from the cameras. You're
(14:21):
not doing yourself any favors. What do you think, JAT,
I am right now giving you Real Housewives a Beverly
Hills tailor the scene where she says enough, that is
what I say. No, it's a tricky position he's in.
I've worked with a lot of celebrities who are sort
of famous from reality shows. They don't want the faint
(14:42):
to go away. They think this is their moment, it
is their fifteen minutes. But doing this is not going
to extend it. In fact, Dale, I think it's not
going to make us like you at all, be really
really careful. Free advice there. You know, it's actually a
good lesson in life. Though. Sometimes step away when you're
in a fight, when someone's coming at you on social media,
(15:03):
start fighting back, walk away, and it feels better. If
you pull the oxygen out of the fire, the fire
will go out. Step Oh, well, that is better to
say less, yes, say less. Well, We're gonna say less
just for a moment or two because we're going to
go to break but we will be all right back.
Welcome back to there. Not even majah. I'm rushing them
(15:25):
with our friend j T. He j T to the
polls d thank you very official. So Megan Markel has
changed her name on her son's birth certificate tour her
Royal Highness Duchess of Sussex and very fancy. Does she
want to get back in this family? Said yes? Where
(15:49):
are you on this? What do you think? I say yes,
I agree with all the friends listening. This is an
absolute yes. She wanted to. She left the royal family.
Now she's changing this to have now say Royal Highness
Duchess of Sussex that. I think this is like her
way back in. I think she realized she made a mistake.
I I think so. I think actually she wants it
both ways. She wants her life in California where and
(16:11):
she can do whatever she wants. She can go back
to acting, she can do TV interviews. She doesn't want
their rules, but she certainly wants their title. Hey, who doesn't,
I guess. Don't forget to vote on to a Day's
poul go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob.
On facebook page is Naughty Gossip. You can leave a
comment there. I mean, she was a check bant tomorrow
to hear your results and now it's time for the
(16:35):
nicest of the day. So right now, Katie Perry's revealing
how daughter Daisy changed her life. So Katie Perry obviously
had her baby and she has a brand new perspective
on life since giving birth, Katie says, quote, she changed
my life and still continues to change my life. The
pop star told her fans, admitting that she has been
(16:57):
able to prioritize Daisy above all. Quote, I think that
you realize that when you become a mother, you just
have to focus on being a mom. And it's not
because you don't love other people. It's not because of anything. Besides,
you just want to be a great mom. I love
this for Katie. She's she is a great mom. She's
a great performer. Artist of the above, and congratulations to her.
Congratulations and nicest of the day. And now it's time
(17:19):
for and naughtiest of the day. So a wife to
be asks her groom if she can give her ex
one more hug at the wedding. So there's a wedding
in Malaysia. The videos are Naughty Gossip dot Com. The
bride and groom are approached by a man who appears
(17:40):
to be the bride's ex. He extends his hand to
congratulate her, but instead of shaking it, she looks at
her soon to be husband and asks him if she
can give her ex hug one more time. He says okay,
and then they have this loving embrace where she strokes
his bag. It's very, very straight. It's why is your
(18:01):
ex even at your wedding? You're naughtiest of the day.
And now it's time for a moment of rob. You
get a rob. You get a rob, you get a rob.
We're trying to make your laugh for fifteen or twenty
minutes every day with celebrity gossip, but for a moment,
we give you something a little bit more deep. Here
(18:21):
it is where might you be right now if your parents,
your friends, your teachers, or the community had all encouraged
you to be a little kinder to yourself. Putting yourself
first is something a lot of us do not practice.
We're not taught how to do this, but if you
do do it, you will thrive. J T. When you
(18:43):
were growing up, were parents, friends, and teachers, did they
encourage you to be kind? Oh? Of course, I think
like kindness matters. I think the way you treat other
people um is very important because they'll treat you back
just as well and nicely and with respect. Um. But
I think you should also put yourself first as well.
It's kind of like when you're on an airplane and
(19:04):
they say, if the masks come down, put it on first,
and then you can help others. So you always kind
of kind of put your yourself on. Yeah, definitely put
yourself first. I agree that it's not selfish, it's actually
smart to do that. I didn't grow up in that
loving environment. My parents were very, very loving, but my
friends and my teachers at school were not that kind.
It was a tough town. I grew up in an
(19:24):
industrial town in Britain, down on its luck, and so
I had to teach myself and once I did, life
became better. Hey, Quickly, before we go, I want to
give a shout out to Annie who just got in Dade.
Congratulations Annie, Luke. He's very handsome, so Luke, and he's
also a good guy. So he didn't just ask Annie's
(19:45):
parents for permission. He also asked her brothers, Oh, you
do keep us, keep us up to date. We want
to know all the details about the wedding. Congratulations again, Hey, JT,
thank you for jumping in and joining us today. We
love having you on the show your part. Thank you
so much and you're sort of a family to Thank
