Speaker 1 (00:08):
Scalable advice for sure. It's time nice low and low
and low and LOWLO. Welcome to the Naughty but Nice
sh I'm your house through Shooter and it's Friday, which
means I do a friend. Cory Andrew joins us. Hey, Corey,
are you there?
Speaker 2 (00:23):
I am here with bells on.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
I love your bells. It's good to be back, my friend.
Last week I was in London looking after my dad.
It's good to be back. I missed you. I missed
the Naughties, although we did do some solo shows from Britain.
Thank you for listening to them. By the way, I
know they're not the same. Don't get me wrong, I
get you Naughties. I'm the same. I like the shows
with the co hosts. I missed talking to my friends
(00:47):
at least once a week, so we're going to get
into each day. I have a lot to talk about. Hey,
what time is it? My friends? It is tea time
big story at the top of the show and exclusive,
so I hoard a copy. And Kelly Clarkson's friendship is
over and what ended it was?
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Trust?
Speaker 1 (01:03):
So I can reveal that Kelly Clarkson and Hoder were
there once close bond has gone ice cold, and this
was after NBC floated Hoder's name to replace her on
the Kelly Clarkson Show. Sources tell me Kelly was exhausted,
she was drowning in family drama and family heartache, and
(01:23):
executive's gone a little bit nervous. That's when Hoder's name
came up. And suddenly the friend she had leaned on
became the woman who might take her job. So for Kelly,
she took this personally. She thought Holder was a sister,
and when she heard the whispers that Holder might be
circuling her seat, she wasn't very happy about it. In fact,
(01:46):
inside of say felt like a betrayal. Now let's be
clear here. Holder never campaigned for this job, so Holder
was not out there trying to replace Kelly Clarkson. However,
when her name came up, she didn't exactly shut it down.
Would to have your own talk show here and say
it is complicated, NBC brass, This is a multimillion dollar show.
(02:06):
If Kelly wasn't going to do it anymore, and there
was a minute there where it looked like Kelly would
not go forward. She took some time off, but now
she's back she's at thirty Rocks, she's doing the show,
and she's sniffing around noticing. Yeah, God, a minute here.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
This story.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
But you know what, though, I think that there's a
little bit of a problem with this. Like, first of all,
to your point, Kelly herself had been saying off and on.
You know, there's talk about she was tired, she was exhausted.
Speaker 2 (02:36):
She might leave the show.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
There are a lot of rumors about her literally leaving
the show, which I think that conversation started because of
a lot of things she was telling people because she
was unhappy. So, you know, you can't have it both ways.
You can't on one hand and be like I'm going
to leave this job, but they can't replace me. Which
one is it.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
You can't have it both ways. I've left jobs that'll
be furious they replaced. We all did. Let's submit it
notes when you leave a job, you want the company
to fall apart. I could possibly go on with me.
It always does. Hey, if we can go on with that,
Queen Elizabeth, I'm sure we're going to be fine without
(03:15):
the Kelly Clarks and showing. So people are replaceable. But
this is a business decision. Once again, Holder, she was
not campaigning for it. So clearly NBC knew there was
a problem and the problem is not over yet. Just
because her husband's past, it does not mean this problem
is over. Kelly is over extended. She's doing way too
many shows. She's doing her live shows, she's doing the voice.
(03:39):
She's also got other things lined a lot on her plate,
and so they are very, very very cautious here. TV bosses.
Look at your schedules, look at your workload, and there's
always somebody waiting in the wings. Maybe they won't be
a full time replacement, but they're always looking. Look when
Wendy Williams, I do friend, Wendy fell apart. It was
(04:01):
heartbreaking and they stopped and I think they handled it
with respect. But they weren't going to look that show
just disappear. They had an hour every day on TV.
What were they going to do? Play cartoons, just leave
it like a black void. They're going to replace it.
So Hoda's name came up. I thought Holder actually handled
this with absolute grace. I know she was asked about
it on the Today Show, She went on the Today Show,
(04:23):
she left the Today Show, she went back to plug
her new job. This fitness this, this lifestyle, this grand
called joy. Yes one oh one. I don't know quite
how that is doing yet, but beside the point. But
she went back to plug her app and they asked her, hood,
are you gonna go? Clark said, and she was such
a classic. She said, if I returned to TV, there's
only one place I'd want to be. It's here on
(04:44):
the Today Show. Absolutely lovely. However, a few nights later
she did workch What Happens Live and Andy Khin asked
her and she said, oh, I quite like to have
my own talk show. Story did change a little bit?
I didn't. I agree with you here. You can't be
mad with Hoder? But what do you think? Naughty? So
Hoder and Kelly Clarkson's friendship is over, the trust is
(05:08):
gone there. What do you think? Can we blame holder?
Should we blame Horder just because somebody wants to hire you?
You're really really talented? Can we blame her? Yes? Or no?
Vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob. Our
facebook page is nulty Yossip and be sure to check
back on Monday to hear your results. Hey Corey, what
(05:29):
are you working on?
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Oh my gosh, well, this story Hilario Baldwin. She's already
he has Hillary Baldwin.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Yeah, she's already becoming like a nightmare on Dancing with
the Stars. You know, she's having a meltdown apparently over
something that's pretty interesting, so as people are noticing, like,
you know, they haven't even really started yet, but the
yoga influencer turned Baldwin a matriarch, reportedly lost it after
being paired with long time, long time pro Gleb Septchenko.
(05:58):
I always try and get that name correct instead of
the breakout newcomer John Ravnick right.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Now who now.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Ravnick used to be Taylor Swift's former aerostoty dancer, so
he's got this big connection to Taylor Swift, which is
instantly probably big for the ratings. And Hilaria is not
happy because she did not get paired with Ravnik, so
she went ballistic one set inside and says she's furious
the producers gave Jen to gave Jan to Jen Affleck,
who's also competing on the show there, and so you know,
(06:27):
she thinks her chances of winning are now dead before
rehearsals even began, because that SWIFTYE fan base is already
sort of in the pocket now, you know the whole
I thought of, like what if Taylor gets involved, and
like if Taylor posts one story on Instagram on Instagram,
people say it's a wrap. The competition's over. Give her,
you know, give the prize to the to the opponent
of Hilaria and not to Hilaria. But listen, I'm just
(06:48):
gonna say this before we move on to you know,
get your perspective on it, Hilario Baldwin. I have not
been able to deal with her since she tried to
mispronounce cucumber with a fake Spanish accent.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Combert, Combert, you're like, girl, you are from Boston.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
I can't deal with her on any capacity at this point,
So it's it's a Innaria.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Does it make it easy to adore her? I'm cuting carefully. However,
I think she happens to be right here that none
of them have a chat so called stars. If you
add of all their fan base, it's none of as
big as Taylor Swift's backup that it's that big. Like
to be honest, this pro this dancer is the star.
(07:32):
I don't know who Jen Affleck is. I think she's
hand like the Mormon wives. Miror like whoever you are.
I've never heard it doesn't matter if you have two
left leet r Jenffleck, make a make room on your
shelf for the mirror ball, because it really is going
to go to Taylor Swifts. Hilariu might being care. I
would be so angry if I got on the show
(07:54):
and then I turned around Taylor Swifts. Yeah, they don't stand.
It will be fun to watch, I know, Hilaria Hillary
is you know, you know she's going to do a
Spanish dance. She's gonna have a with the rose and
her mouth, the rose and a cucumber you be able
to pronounce, and she'll have a castanets. She wants to
(08:17):
is Lebanita. I've seen Madonna, like I see, I seen
She's shameless, and I sort of like that about her.
I mean, she bugs me. Don't get me wrong, I
think she's ridiculous. But Corey, I just giggle at those
Bethany Frankl type celebrities that are just Bethany.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
At least with Bethany, she did like establish something like
a brand.
Speaker 2 (08:38):
And and I don't want to just.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Like I don't want to be mean, like like a
mean girl to Hilaria. But you know, her claim to
fame now is that she married Alec Baldwin, So she's
really gotta yeah, and she's really gotta kind of win
the press over because she hasn't had a track.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Run with it so far.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
Do you think Alex he's gonna have to sit on
the fruit road? Yes, yes, one hundred percent yes, and
he's to call his friends to sit there to people
don't know who she is. The reality show they just
did with the kids the Baldwins was his name. We
were watching for Alec.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Yeah, not that many people.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
I don't even think if Alex was on Dancing with
the Stars he'd do so well. I just think that
know what Taylor Swift, if you're listening, Hellola Loolo, Taylor
Swift might not the other Dad's floor, but she just
won Day with the Stars. Okay, Moving along. Paris Jackson
is going to torpedo the new Michael Jackson movie. They
spent one hundred million dollars on the New Michael Jackson movie. However,
(09:29):
his twenty seven year old daughter is making it clear
that she wants no part of the project, and she
is She's saying this very very publicly. So Coleman Domingo,
who I love. He bragged that Paris had been very,
very helpful. He plays Michael's dad in the new In
the new film, Paris said, I had no involvement at speak.
(09:51):
I'm just like, what are you talking about that? Paris
would under say she actually read the script and she
didn't really like it, and she sent them some notes
and they ignored her. So she's got nothing to do
with this. It's very, very difficult when you do a
movie about a celebrity and they have family members surviving,
because if you're going to do the movie, well, you're
going to tell part of the story that the family
are not gonna like Michael Jackson's a very very controversial
(10:14):
person here. It's not the Doris Day story, Like, this
is a story about somebody who's really controversial. That's why
Madonna is producing her own movie. That's why Madonna is writing,
it's producing, it's casting it like it's really the Madonna protection.
She wants her story told the way she wants it told.
This is the Michael Jackson estate. They had to get
the rights for the music, but not everything in it
(10:34):
is glowing, and neither should it be. I find those
documentaries that are just love letters to be really really boring.
It's the gritty ones. It's the ones that really admit
the truth. That's why I like the Billy Joel documentary.
It really shows his struggles with alcohol and drugs, and
he didn't paint himself as a hero. I understand why
Paris wants to saint her dad. I think it's kind
of a sweet thing, but it's just not the reality,
(10:56):
and it would make a really boring film.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Yeah. Yeah, it's a lot like.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
The And I'll admit I did not see it, but
I heard the Whitney Houston biopic. You know, people said
it was sort of like, you know, they didn't understand
why that was even made. It was a bit it
didn't give you what people really wanted.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
That drugs. Yeah, the barely mentioned drugs. They completely punintended
with white ones white. It was literally like, I was like,
what's I think this could be a great film and
I'm glad they told the truth. And I think Paris
being angry about it, I don't think it will hurt
it that much.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
What do you think? No, I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
I mean, unfortunately, she doesn't really have I mean I
hate to say it, but she doesn't have the power
to stop it. And I don't know how much credibility
people this is this. I don't want this to be
taken the wrong way, but there is something about Paris
has always been very.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
Polarizing to people.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
I'm not sure what it is, and even honestly, but
some people they were angry because she was so fair skinned,
claiming that she was not even his real biological order.
I don't know what that story is, but the point
is this, she's got all this other bag get you
with her that when it comes to Michael Jackson, he's
so beloved. People are looking at her almost like she's
the impostor because we grew up. We grew up with
him before she even was in the picture, so he
(12:09):
belongs to us. And that is some of the sentiment
that I am hearing. And it's interesting.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
I can tell you've been doing television. You're so smart today,
you got your smart odd, Okay, tell us about this
Super Bowl performance. Sources are saying the NFL are leaning
on Travis Kelcey to deliver Taylor Swift.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Yes, Insider's tail hashtags, you'd rescoop that. Commissioner Roger Goodell
and the league bosses, the NFL league bosses. They are
quietly leaning on Travis Kelsey to land the halftime show
headliner of their dreams his fiance Taylor Swift.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
Now, I have to admit, this is one of those things.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
It's like a once in a lifetime sort of the
planets are aligned so rare. To quote my beloved to
live in Newton, John. You know, it's a moment where
like a star player is engaged to the biggest pop
star in the world.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
She just finished a big tour and you know.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
She's dropping a new album, her big show Girl album's
coming up soon.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
So listen.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
If they want to try and get Taylor Swift on
that stage, Travis is the one to deliver her. And
you know they're saying it's a possibility. They're putting the
pressure on him to do it. I'm not sure if
she will. But what do you think rab you think
she'll do it.
Speaker 1 (13:25):
I think she's gonna do it. I do think she's
going to do it. And I don't mind this here.
If anybody can deliver deliver.
Speaker 2 (13:32):
Taylor Swift, it's Travis Travis.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
But he's gonna get used to this. When you are
Kayti engaged married to a superstart? People are going to
ask favous. My husband is a very successful in the
music business. He's not Taylor Swift. He's very successful. The
amount of people that are nice to be to him
free to get I can, so I'm quite selective. Well,
(13:55):
I when I do the bidding for you. When I
when I do, I think, here, Travis, I would if
you're listening to low Loolow, I would advise the NFL
to go through official channels. That's what I always do.
It's like, just because I know that person, go through
their publicists, go for their managers. I have nothing to
do with their business. I'm personally friends with a few celebrities,
but I'm not their manager. I'm not their publicist, and
(14:18):
so I always recommend. But if I can do you
a little favor, if I can rehire a little text
that to get you on, I will do it. So
I do help my friends act. This would be great
for Travis too. I think he's going to retire after
the season. Can you imagine if he's at the Super
Bowl and she performs, it would be thirty five I'm
(14:39):
told in football that's like it's amazing isn't it. I
think that this can be tricky. I totally understand why
they are doing it. It's very complicated. Think about your
friends who want to freebe or something from your partner,
and I'm sort of like, ah, he's gonna get used
to it there, because this is not just going to
be the NFL. Everybody now who wants to get to
(15:01):
Taylor Swift who have not been able to told you
to go to Travis. I might do him and him
myself and see if I can get a signed a
copy of that new album. Imagine if you've had access
to Travis, Can I get tickets to the tour? Can
I see her in Chicago? Can?
Speaker 2 (15:18):
I would be sure his family, he's probably got the people.
Speaker 1 (15:25):
Corey, when you when your record career explodes, I'm going
to bother you for tickets all the time.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
You aren't anybody. Thank you.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
We're going to take a quick break and we will
be right back. Welcome back to the naughty nice yours
to hey, let's get through the polls. Last Chevy told
you the meeting between King Charles and Prince Harry has
practically collapsed. Harry is going to be in London next
week for a charity event. Unfortunately, it's on the anniversary
of the Queen's death, So it looks like the King
is going to be up at Belle Marl That's where
they often spend spend time. It was the Queen's favorite place,
(15:56):
it's where she died, it's where she passed. So I
think the family is going to be up there. But
Goutland's only a few hours away from London. On a
plane like you can get you can, you can fly
up there in no time at all. And let's face it,
they can afford a private plane. They've got the royal plane.
So if they wanted this meeting to happen, it could happen.
Neither one of them really wanted to happen. It's like
when I say let's do drinks and I don't give
you a date, that means I don't really want it
(16:18):
to happen. It's the truth. Yeah, Cory, let's get a drink,
but I don't actually say what I know that happening.
And so who's the blame here? Is it? King Charles
or Prince Harry? Seventy percent said Harry, I'm surprised there.
I thought you might have said Charles, But yes, naught.
They think it is Harry. Okay, don't I think it's
(16:40):
about trust.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
The can't trust. It's about trust.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Those loose talks too much. Ok don't forget to vote
on today's pole. Will go to our Twitter page at
Naughty Nice Rama Facebook pages not igossive and be sure
that you have a Monday to hear your results. And
now it's time for noises of the day. This first
(17:05):
is going to sign a little bit odd. You might
not think it's nice for the reason it's nice. The
reason this is nice is that if you have a
political view, if you have an opinion, step up and
do something. How many of us just sit back and
don't alone We complain, but we don't actually, And so
that's why I think this is the nicest of the day.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yeah, because it is. It is a borderline one for me.
I don't know, but yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
So it's about Don Lemon and he is eyeing Congress,
you know, because apparently after he had his settlement with CNN,
he is cashed.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Oh I think the reported like.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Almost twenty five million dollars he got out of that settlement.
So I'm like, yes, fire me any day if that's
going to be my cash out check. So yeah, but
he's also very into politics. Obviously we know that, right,
We know how passionate he was about politics. So some
people are saying, no, that he's.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Ambitious as well as hell, and.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
He's got the name, he's got a big ego which
is perfect for being a politician. And he also has
a lot of money so he can actually kind of
finance his on campaign. So now after his twenty twenty
three ouster, you know, he packages he got this big
money and he's now looking to maybe replace Nadler's seat
in New York City.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
Yeah, and so he may.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
Nadler just has now of he's retiring, and donal Lemon
thinks he might want to get in there. You know,
he thinks he's perfect. He thinks he's perfect. Don thinks
he's got the New York roots. Now he's got the
TV polish, he loves a good fight, and he sees
Congress as maybe his new stage.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
What do you think about that?
Speaker 1 (18:31):
I think if you think you can make the world better,
do it. There is so much ugliness in politics, there
really really is. I wish I had the money, the time,
the desire, the ego to get off my bottom and
make a difference. And I'm afraid it is just too
ugly a world for me. You think show business is rough,
politics is a nasty, nasty, nasty Jerry Nadler is my congressman.
He represents this part of tiny represent He represents this
(18:55):
part of time well. And Don lives in this part
of time. He leaves at Hudson Yard. So this is
actually is districts the luck. Okay, now I noticed the
dag naughty naughteen. The Sherry Show will not address their
executive producer leaving to the Shew returns on September eighteenth.
John Murray is on the show, or has been on
the show for a couple of years. He's the EP,
but it's also Sherry's best friend and right hand He
(19:18):
has now exited the show. If you want to know why,
check out my substack. But I'm told the Zero plans
to mention his name at the top of the show
when they return. This is a terrible mistake. You can't
just have somebody vanish from the show. And so Sherry,
if you're listening, hello, al and we do wish you
the best. I have so much respect for her. I
think she's going to be great with John, but you
got to confront the elephant in them and not is
(19:41):
the day.
Speaker 2 (19:41):
Let's end with a moment.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Solve it or leave it, but don't live with it.
Problems don't disappear because you ignore them, Sherry. They drain you,
they weigh you down, and they steal your piece. You've
got two choices. Solve the problem, face it, fix it
and move forward. Leave the problem, walk away, let it
go and free yourself. But there's one thing you cannot do,
(20:06):
and that's live with the problem. That's how people stay stuck.
Your piece is too valuable to waste on what you
won't confront. So decide, fix it or release it, but
don't you dare carry it. That is it for this week.
Thank you so much for listening to the Non Even
Nice with Robin Corey Show, a production of Helvis Duran
