Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice Shooters, it's time no never no never, never knowver no.
Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your host,
Rob Shooter. It's Monday. Normally on Monday, our friend Garrett
joins us. He's got to work today, so as well
as doing the Naughty but Nice Show, he has a
full time job on the Elvis Durrand Show, and a
few people are out sick today, so we're sending you

(00:31):
our best Garrett. He's not out sick, but he's doing
the job of two or three people. Busy, busy, busy. Okay,
let's jump into Asher. Don't worry. We've got a ton
of news of gossip to get to. What time is it,
my friends? It is tea time, big story at the
top of the show. So Hollywood is in a frenzy.
Our celebrities are scrambling for Taylor Swift, Keelsey Travis or

(00:55):
Travis Kelsey wedding advites. I thought I was gonna say
here that they're scra for Taylor Swift concert tickets while
they were doing that what last year, But now now
it's all about the wedding. Their wedding, their upcoming wedding.
Isn't just the hottest ticket in town. No, it's the
only ticket that matters. Sources are telling me that the

(01:19):
Hollywood All of Hollywood A list is in full melt
down mode, with managers, agents, publicists burning up the phone
lines trying to secure a coveted invitation to what is
already being dubbed the Royal Wedding of America. One source

(01:40):
tells me, quote, every power player wants their client's there.
This is like the Oscars, or the met Ball, or
the super Bowl all rolled into one. If you're not
in the room when Taylor walks down that aisle, are
you even relevant? Question mark? Well, I think you are. However,
I do understand this. In my years as a celebrity

(02:01):
pub bassist, my clients always wanted to be at the
hot restaurants, the hot shows. They wanted to be around
where all the buzz was, And there is going to
be nothing more buzz worthy here than Taylor Swift's wedding.
Now top stars. Top stars are offering favors, sweetness and
even aligning their brand deals in hopes to make the cut.

(02:25):
One rep told me that, let's be honest here, some
people are straight up begging. It's chaos. People are trading
stories about who called who, who did you call, who's
maybe on the guest list, and who has already made
the cut. Hollywood hates to be told. Now, when you're

(02:46):
told no, maybe you're like this, you want it even more.
There was a really hot club in New York called
Bungalow eight, and you needed a key to get into it.
I really wanted to get into it, so I tried
and I tried, and I couldn't and I couldn't, and
it made me want to do it even more so.
The fact I was told no made me really want

(03:07):
to do it. Ultimately, I did get in. It wasn't
so great, but the fact that I couldn't get in
made me want to get in. Is he Are you
a little like that? Are you like when you're told no,
that you really want it? If you were told yes,
I'm not quite sure I would want it. This will
be a fun wedding. It's going to be a moment
in history, isn't it? These two? There's nobody bigger it

(03:27):
really is. I don't think it's going to be a
royal wedding because access to it is not going to
be the same. Now if they stream it and there
are some reports that many streaming companies would love to
stream it. I don't think Taylor will, but if they
stream it, they could get hundreds of millions of people
watching this. She is an international star. So think Meghan
and Harry how many people watch their wedding, or Princess

(03:49):
Diana how many people watch her wedding, Kate and William.
These are events that bring the nation together if they
are televised. So all those three weddings were from the
moment they left their homes or the palace and got
to the cathedral or the abbey, and so we watched
every step of the way. We even had cameras inside

(04:10):
the church. That is not going to be the case
with Taylor Swift. She's not going to do that. However,
there will be news helicopters everywhere. We will see guests arrive.
There will be reporters wherever this wedding is. Some people
say it's going to be at our home in Rhode Island.
I'm hearing no, that is not actually a set detail yet.
They're still planning this wedding. But there will be wherever

(04:33):
it is, there will be people like me outside with
cameras with them, with reporters with news crews from around
the world getting every single detail about this wedding. So
I understand why celebrities want to go. And then it's
not just the size of this wedding, it's that Taylor's
really cool. Taylor is one of those celebrities who has

(04:53):
commercial success and critical success. She is somebody that wins
Grammys and sells millions. Many artists do that. You are
either a critics darling, you're part of the cool club,
or you're a superstar at the public gloves. It's very
very rare that somebody is respected by the industry and

(05:15):
as popular as massive as somebody like Taylor Swift. It
is very, very unusual to have both she does. She
is absolutely the eat person of the moment. She can
change your brand. If you're a little cheesy, if you're
a little washed up, if you're an up and comer

(05:35):
and you get on Taylor Swift's radar and she is
kind to you and she's a very kind person, it's
going to change your career. So I think a lot
of stars are going to want to go here, not
just to celebrate Taylor. In fact, I don't think that's
the reason at all. I'm being a little cynical, but
a lot of stars are going to want to go
to reinvent themselves, to make themselves relevant. Think of a

(05:56):
star a little past their prime, a little washed up,
probably not doing as well. Are well, they get invited
to Taylor's wedding. Suddenly they are back in the conversation.
So everybody is trying to get in. It is rough
for the agents and the managers and the publicist. I
was in this position when they wanted tickets to the
met Ball, begging, begging Ganna Winter, begging Vogue to let

(06:19):
my clients in the super Bowl. That's another really hard
ticket to get. And so these big, big events Taylors
might be bigger, are gonna be really really tough tickets,
Which brings us to our whole question of the day.
A listas are begging to get invited to Taylor Swift
and Travis Kelsey's wedding. I keep forgetting that he's part

(06:40):
of this wedding. Forgive me, that's so naughty. It's so naughty.
You ever got his name backwards? It's the Taylor Swift wedding,
isn't it. It is the Taylor Swift wedding. Now, if
she was marrying somebody else, maybe we'd be slightly, slightly,
slightly less interested. He is a star. He just brings
a lot to the table. But this is the Taylor
Swift wedding. Will it be a small, private family affair.

(07:02):
Will it be small or will it be packed with stars?
They get to make this decision, don't they. They get
to decide do they want a big, big, celebrity Hollywood
Kardashian type wedding. Meghan mark or got George Cloey there
and Oprah there? The Clueys didn't really know Meghan, but
they were invited. Will it be a big, flashy wedding
or will it be small and intimate? When Bruce and

(07:23):
I got married, we decided no celebrities. We know a
bunch of celebrities. I have a few celebrity friends, and
I deliberately picked days that they couldn't come. I didn't
want celebrities there because they make it all about themselves,
Even the nice celebrities, it's about them, and that is
not the reason we're there. It was by day, it
was Bruce's day. Well, there's a difference with Taylor Swift.

(07:45):
Nobody there's not any star that's going to outshine her.
Every person that's sort of famous would outshine me because
I'm not famous. But Taylor's a superstar, says she doesn't
have to worry about that. But what do you think?
Will it be a big Hollywood type wedding or a
small intimate family affair. Hey, go vote on our Twitter

(08:07):
jonzib and be sure that she had bettermorrow to hear
your results. Okay, moving along. Madonna has announced that she's
got a new album coming out, and the response to
the reaction wasn't that great? So the sixty six year
old pop star, she is a legend. She's confirmed that
she's reuniting with producer Stuart Price. He's the mastermind behind
her two thousand and five smash hit Confessions on Our

(08:31):
Dance Floor. I love that album, but it's twenty years
old now, and so she's gonna go back and she
is going to put out an album. So it's gonna
be a dance album. You can always tell what sort
of album it's going to be by the producer. So
Taylor Swift's new album, she's going back to old school
pop and We know that because the producer Max, who
she has picked to do this is really really Max

(08:54):
Martin is really really that sort of pop guy. He
wrote and produced a lot of songs for Britain En Sync.
He's worked with Taylor before, and so I think that
Madonna's album is going to be more like Confessions on
her dance Floor, very very dance music. It's gonna get
us the dance. But the response wasn't that great. Fans

(09:14):
want classics, they want holiday like a Prayer, Vogue or
even Ray of Light. They don't go to see her
live to see new songs. Maybe this has happened to
you when you see your favorite pop star. I once
went to see Madonna and she only sang new songs
and it was really awful. It was boring. I wanted

(09:34):
the big hits. You're almost a failure of your own success.
When you have that many hits like Madonna, you gotta
do them. You can't pretend you don't have them. Well,
if you do all the hits, there's no room for
the new stuff, and the new stuff is never gonna
get the same response. Nobody in that room is gonna
get as excited about a new song as a classic song.

(09:56):
What can Madonna do that's gonna get a bigger round
of a play? And Vogue pretty much nothing or like
a prayer, nothing of the new stuff. So I get
that she's doing a new album. I hope it is
a success. I hope the music is great. It does
feel as if she is trying to apply a formula
that doesn't work anymore. The music business has changed so

(10:17):
much in the last ten twenty years. Albums are almost gone.
With the exception of Taylor Swift and Beyonce maybe Adele,
most music now singles, most people download their favorite song.
Very few people listen to albums anymore. I used to
love getting a new album and sitting there and listening
to the whole thing. It took me an hour and

(10:37):
a half and I used to sit there. I loved it.
An artist really thought they were very thoughtful about what
songs should follow each song. They wanted it to be
a total experience. Poof gone. That does not really exist anymore. Now.
It is sung by song, and if you don't get
a hit song on the radio, that album does not
sell well. It's going to be really tricky for Madonna.
I do admire that she never gives up. I do

(11:00):
admire that when a lot of people sit down and
say that's it, I'm not doing this anymore, she keeps going.
What I'm a little bit worried about is it appears
as if she is applying an old formula to a
new world of music. Okay, moving along, Gallaine Maxwell's pedophile Palace,
that's what it's called here in New York is up

(11:21):
for sale and nobody wants it. So the infamous Upper
Side mansion that once was owned by Galaine Maxwell. It
was very close to Jeffrey Epstein's mansion. It is on
sixty fifth Street. It is dubbed, as I said, pedophile palace.
That explains while nobody wants it is listed for seventeen
point seventy five million dollars. One real estate broker tells

(11:42):
me people hear Maxwell's name and they run in the
other direction. It doesn't matter how many times it has
been renovated. You can't scrub away that history. Now, the
mansion was given to her. Can you imagine being given
a gift from a lawyer linked to Jeffrey Epstein. The
whole thing is shady. So she never actually bored it.
She got given and this mansion. She sold it for

(12:03):
fifteen million about ten years ago, and now it's back
on the market, so it is not going from galayan
to the market. There's been somebody in there in the
period in between, but now it's back on sale. Would
you live there? A who's got that money? But if
you do have that money, do you want to live
in Gallaine Maxwell's old apartment town? Has homes come with histories,

(12:28):
don't they. Part of me is like, it's a new home,
and what happened here was not the house. It was
the person. The house did nothing wrong. It was the disgusting,
disgusting person who lived here. And so maybe I could.
But then if I looked around some of the rooms,
the bathrooms, and I thought about the horror stories, the abuse,

(12:50):
the absolute inhumanity that had happened within those walls, I
totally get it. Maybe maybe I wouldn't want to live there.
In fact, I wouldn't. I'm much more happy in my
little flat down here in Chelsea. Okay, moving along, talking
about being happy, Woopy Goldberg is backing down at the
view and she has eight million reasons to keep her

(13:11):
mouth shut. So Woody Godberg is no fool and insiders
are telling me that the daytime legend has decided to
play it safe now rather than risk her golden gig.
The Oscar winning actress who turned moderator earns about eight
million dollars a year on the view. That's a lot
of money, making her one of the highest paid personalities

(13:32):
in daytime television ever. And with that kind of paycheck
also comes a very cushy job. It is a lovely schedule.
It is such a nice schedule. You get there about
seven eight am, you were done around noon. It's a
part time job. They don't tape on Fridays. They tape
two shows on Thursdays, so you only work four days

(13:54):
a week. It's a lovely schedule, tons and tons of money,
and she knows what a great dal is. The money
is amazing, the hours are fantastic compared to acting, to
making a movie. And she's not gonna mess this up.
Inside hes say she's superstar smart and she does not
want to walk away from an eight million easy job. Now.

(14:16):
The reason we're talking about this is obviously there are
big transitions in the media landscape. There's been a lot
of threats from the government. Some of them are working
very well shows that are disappearing, and so the View
is a show that presses buttons. That's the whole point
of it, isn't it. It's meant to be a show
that gets people excited, that has an opinion, that has

(14:38):
a view. It appears as if we were living in
a world at the moment where that's very, very dangerous,
and so Woodpy is going to back down and then
quickly before we get a break. Harry is not moving
back to the UK. There are tons of roomors out
there that he said something to Josh Stone at the
well Child Awards about He asked her in conversation about
this moving back. She had left the UK and she

(14:59):
moved and he was like, oh, terrific and the schools
are great. He was just making conversation. He's not moving back.
He's not bringing his children back. There's lots of rumors
that his kids are going to eaton No, no, no,
Megan would not have it. The kids are not going
to a boarding school. They're not moving back to Britain.
The kids are not going to go back to Britain
without their mom. There is just no way this is happening.

(15:20):
I hope they all get a better relationship. But moving
back to Britain with the kids, you're going to be
reading that today. Not true. Trust your friend, rabbit. Okay,
we're gonna take it a quick break and we'll be
right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Niceham your
host job shutter. Hey, let's get to the polls that
da dah. Last year we talked about Jimmy Kimmel's best

(15:42):
friends Jennifer Aniston. They're really close in Howard Stern and
also Matt Damon. They are going to turn their back
on ABC, so they're very angry with Jimmy Bean suspended, canceled.
Should celebrities boycott the network? What do you think? Oh?
Sixty five percent said yes. If you'd something bad to
one of my friends, I would boycott that network. I

(16:04):
would boycott you. I'm pretty loyal when it comes to friendship.
In fact, I'm very loyal. I'm proud of that. If
you banned mister, then I'll ban you. I wouldn't play
if you banned a friend of mine, if you treated
a friend of mine terribly, I wouldn't be playing with that.
And so I think I agree with you. Naughtys Hey,
don't forget to vote on today's Paul got a Twitter

(16:26):
page at Naughty Knights. Rob Our facebook page is Naughty
Gossip and be sure to check back to my road
to hear your results. And now it's time for and nicest,
the cheeky. But the nicest of the day and nicest
of the day is Matthew McConaughey saying size does matter
in the bedroom. Oh no, it's not what you think.

(16:47):
Get your mind out of the gutter's naughties. He just
dropped a bombshell in a new book, his new book,
Pones and Prayers. He said him and his wife Camilla
ditch their king size mattress for a queen and it
saved their relationship. He said, I woke up one morning
and Camilla was like a football field away. He said,
you want to snuggle and he doesn't want to yell
across a twelve foot bed. That damn king sized bed

(17:11):
was not good for a marriage. Get rid of the
son of her, you know what. So now they have
a king size bed and he said it is so
much better. They want to be close. There's no room
for the kids to squeeze in any more. I think
this is adorable, very very cheeky. Headline made me laugh
at lad size matters in the bedroom and smaller is

(17:32):
better for Matthew mcconnor. Cheeky, cheeky, And now I'm naughtyus
of the day, naughty, naughty. The Presley family has exploded
over Priscilla Presley's new bomb. Short Shell claims she has
a new book out, and she goes there. She talks
about her daughter, Lisa Maurice's marriage to Michael Jackson. She
said it was bizarre. She asked if there was a

(17:54):
physical relationship, and Lisa Maurice said yes, and then she
told her daughter he was married the Presley dynasty. He
did it for good publicity. This would admit his child
abuse scandal. So the King of pop married married the
daughter of the King, Elvis Presley. Now this has really
upset Riley, Lisa Marie's daughter. They don't want Grandma out

(18:18):
there telling secret. She really is going there. She's been very,
very cagy in the past. Let's remember Elvis Presley met
her when she was fourteen. I'll say that again, fourteen
years old. It is a wacky, wacky family. Some people
think it's even more sinister than that. And now this
book is coming out talking about her daughter who's no

(18:39):
longer around to defend herself. Lisa Marie rest in peace.
The family is really really angry about this Tell All book.
You can tell your story, you can tell other people's
story too, but there will be a consequence. That consequence
is happening right now in the Presley family. Okay, let's
end with a moment of rye are you gonna rub?

(19:00):
You rub? You rub your rub. I love this part
of the show. Thank you for making it your most
favorite part of the show. Makes me laugh. We work
so hard on celebrity lose and gossip. I reported you
what a moment of rub. So if their absence brings
you peace, you didn't lose anything. Losing people isn't always
a loss. If the room feels lighter when they are gone,

(19:24):
if their absence brings you peace instead of pain, and
that's not losing, that's winning your freedom back. Real connections
add value to your life. Anything else it's just noise.
So don't grieve what wasn't meant to be. We beat
ourselves up, don't we. When we lose someone that we
thought was a friend, we grieve them. Don't grieve what

(19:47):
wasn't meant to be. You didn't lose a thing, You
gain space for what is real. Once again, Noughties, if
their absence brings you peace, you didn't lose anything. Hey,
that is it for today. Thank you so much for
listening to the Naughty but Nice with Rob and the Naughty.
You're the co hosts to day show. We're a production

not know you could even do that. You can share

Thank you, thank you, thank you, and remember altogether. Now,

(20:30):
if you're going to be naughty, you've got to be
let me nice. You sound love. It's not even nice
