Speaker 1 (00:10):
Sure, it's time.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
And love and love. Hello, Welcome to the Naughty but
Nice Sham. Your host, Rob Shooter. It's Monday, and every Monday.
I dear friend Garrett Vogel joins us. Hey, Garrett, are
you there?
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Hello, Bob, Let me let me be the friend. Okay,
this is why we're friends. Okay, I want you to
sit back, relax, you know, comment here and there. Let
let your good friend Garrett help you out today.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
Okay, you know me well, I have a terrible cold.
Naughty summer are the worst. I hate it. Although I've
got to be honest, it's only gonna last a couple
of days, so I've just got a few days to
struggle through. I think I sound was then I feel
like I feel okay, I feel like a little bit
under the weather.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
But you don't rest though, you don't do yourself a favor,
and just like rest because you go go go go
go like a like. After this, you're probably on some
TV show in Japan and then then you have to
zoom into the palace to talk to talk to the king.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
I mean you know me, well, yeah, you know very well.
I promise after this, after this, I'm going back to bed.
Enjoy it. Okay, what time is it? My Friends? And
is b story at the top of the show. So
Jennifer Anderson is very aware that Gwyneth Paltrow used to
trasher over Brad Pitt. Let me explain. There's a new
book out, Gwyneth The Biography, and there's tons of details
(01:34):
coming out of this book. Probably the biggest is that
Gwyneth was really really upset when Brad, who she dated,
married Jen. Not just upset, but said that he is
dumber than a sack of you know what. She also
said things that he has terrible, terrible taste in women,
(01:54):
and so she really did not approve of Brad moving on.
And I don't think this is about Jen. I think
this is about Gwyneth. However, she was pretty vicious about it.
I hit the phones to see, well, did Gen's people
ever know this? And they were like, oh, name it.
This is why Gwyneth and Jen are not very close.
They mix in the same curtles in the Hollywood cirtles.
(02:16):
They've never been friends and the reason is Brad Pitt.
It's wild, isn't it. I get it. If somebody I'd
break up with somebody and then they go and find
what looks at the time like happiness. We know it wasn't.
That relationship ultimately did not work out for for Brad
and Jen, but she was really jealous about it, and
(02:37):
instead of trashing Brad or the situation, or maybe even
thinking about herself, she went after.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Jen like it's almost like the low hanging fruit, the
easy thing to go after, because if Brad were to respond,
it just makes Brad look like, you know, a bad guy,
you know, but for and Jen's not going to respond
because then it just fuels the fire. So Gwyneth what
she was doing obviously, and it's it's just so interesting
(03:04):
to see that. It's like you want to say, hey,
just the past is the past, but some people cannot
let go of the past.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Some paper canliger, some paper can you let go?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
Cantnue depend depends on the situation. So I'm only left
to assume that Gwyneth and Brad probably there were there
was something strong there and maybe, you know, it left
Gwyneth feeling a little hurt and a little burnt, and
maybe him hence why she wants to She wanted to
speak up, but uh, yeah, me personally, it most likely
(03:34):
nine times out of ten yes, there's always that one
percent chance. How about you.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
Yeah, I'm pretty good at it. Although I've been fired
for so many jobs, I always wish them ill afterwards.
I never leave the build in thinking burn it down.
Burn it down a huge success. I always wanted to
feel as if, oh, after me. It's tricky for Gwyneth.
This is because after he dated Gwyneth, that's what he
(04:00):
really became a superstar. And that was with Jen. Brad
and Jen were everywhere. She was so so much more
popular than Gwenorth because she was a TV actress. Rachel
on Friends was an absolute I can't want to start
on TV even today, She's not made Friends in over
(04:21):
a decade and we still know Jen as Rachel. So
of all the people, if he had gone on and
dated Debbie Gibson, maybe I wouldn't be so jealous. I'm
not putting down Debbie. I love her. But he went
on after me to date somebody that was arguably one
of the biggest stars in the world. That would bug
me if Bruce and I, god forbid, broke up. But
(04:42):
if we did and he went on today Andy Cohen, oh, I.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Mean, that's like you leaving me and going to do
this podcast with Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
You know what I mean? It would not and dated
somebody you'd never heard of. It's a little easier to move.
Dating's tricky, isn't it, Because even when you break up
and you know you should break up, but you've been
together for a while, you're still curious. Goodness knows. Now
with Instagram and social media, you can look people up.
(05:14):
You've been married a long time, Garrett, so have I.
So maybe this is a silly question, but do you
know friends or do you do you do yourself? Do
you have a reminisce and look back at an old,
old photograph, an old flame and me.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
No, But I do have friends that literally can tell
you where their high school sweetheart is living currently with,
how many kids, and how many divorces they have been through.
You know, there are those specific friends that literally and
they say it's more of a friendship. But when you
can name that your children, your your ex's, two x's,
(05:52):
and there are cats and dogs, that is a little
bit of an issue.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
It's life's beautiful, it really really is. And I think
this is a nice thing that we care enough to care.
But when you move on, I think it's healthier for
everybody to move on. This book is full of revelations.
We've got a naughty revelation a little later on in
the show from the book. It's a little cheeky, but
don't worry. We will handle it with as much class
as we possibly can. Which brings us to our pole
(06:18):
question of the day. Jennifer Aniston is fully aware she's
no fool. She is fully aware that Gwyneth Paltrow trashed
her over Brad Pitt when she married Brad. When she's
dated Brad, it was clear Gwyneth was not a fan
of this relationship. Our questions quite simple. Are you team
jenn or are you team GWYNETHEA? You know I love Jen,
(06:42):
but I also do love Gwyneth Grewenneth annoys me and
I can't stop reading everything about her. She just makes
me giggle. There's something about Gwyneth for me. Team candles,
she does sell candles. Team Jen, Team Gwyneth. Hey, go
vote on our twinn page at Naughty Nise Facebook page
is nordiyosib Be sure to check back to my router
(07:04):
here your results. Hey Garrett, what are you working on? All? Right?
Speaker 1 (07:08):
So this time last year, everybody was you know, clamoring
for Taylor Swift tickets because you had the biggest, biggest
tour of the summer. Well, I think we finally found
what the summer show everybody wants to get to now.
As of last week, Coldplay. All right, So, I mean
you've heard the story CEOs get CEOs and HR heads
getting caught on the kiss cam at Coldplay shows. But
(07:30):
after that incident, Coldplay is already doing you know, a
number of shows through throughout the world, and the tickets
were selling. Well, now they are just on fire, like
almost impossible to even come across, Like you're talking like,
you know, hundreds of dollars, two thousands of dollars just
to get in there. And actually over the weekend too,
(07:53):
it was their first show since the kisscam incident where
the the HR the CEO of a stronger actually you know,
stepped down from his job over the weekend. The HR
woman she I believe she still has her job.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
But she too.
Speaker 1 (08:08):
This is such a Netflix story, Rob, I cannot wait
to watch this. But Chris Martin actually took the stage
this weekend and he kind of gave a little tongue
in cheek, you know, fair warning, going Hey, I want
to say hello to some of you, and we're gonna
do that with the cameras. So yeah, beware, if you
want to put on your makeup, go go ahead. Any
kind of winked and smiled and nod, and then even
(08:30):
other artists throughout the whole weekend, because there was a
ton of concerts going on, they all poked fun at it.
They said, hey, you're safe here at my show. If
you're with your side, chick, don't worry about it.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
You know.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Everybody had their own little fun with it from over
the weekend. But if you're looking for Coldplay tickets this summer, possible.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Luck. Yeah, they were selling pretty well, but there was
always an odd couple here and there, Like you could
go to pretty much any cold Play concert you wanted to.
You might not get a great season, you might pay
a lot of money, but they weren't impossible. They were
not Taylor Swift tickets. They were not Beyonce tickets, they
were not Oasis tickets. A British group. We're getting back together,
and that's impossible. I am not going. But I got
(09:10):
my nephew, the pilot, Andrew, who flies to me back
and forth. I got him two tickets at Wembley. I begged,
I begged, I borrowed.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Such a charming way, like, no matter what, you could
ask for anything, ro you have a.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Way of doing You're very, very kind, and I agree normally, yes,
but this was harder, Andrew, if you're listening, no, no,
your uncle really had to find it was easier to
get Taylor Swift tickets. Let's just put it like that.
But nevertheless, I've got these tickets. However, I'm lucky that Andrew,
my my nephew, is not a fan of Cold Plays.
I'm not sure I could get him in. These tickets
have exploded. And I think is what it's done is
(09:48):
it's reminded you you forget sometimes they're a great bands,
They've got great songs, they are so cool, He's adorable.
It's such a fun, fun vibe, and so I think
this is a little, a little rem of how much
we love coldplaying. Even though it's a very very cheeky,
naughty story, it was done in such a humorous way,
and Chris Martin has been so charming about it. I
(10:10):
was told that for a minute there was actually big
discussions about maybe cutting the camera all together and just
not zooming in on people in the crowd, and now
it comes with a warning, which is pretty pretty funny.
But I think it's a great thing, and I love
that they're selling our and I love that there's a
silver lining of a potentially kind of difficult, difficult story.
(10:30):
So good for you, coldplay, Okay, moving a lung? Was
Blake Lively? Oh, Blake Lively was left a little shaken
after a federal judge dismissed her fame. So Blake got
a brutal reminder this week that not everybody is impressed
by her Hollywood royalty. During a hearing in this really ugly,
(10:51):
this bitter legal battle with a co star, Justin Beldoni,
the US district judge called Lewis Linnen delivered coldness of reality,
declaring he had quotes never heard of either actor, and
that fame had no relevance in his court. Actually, like this,
(11:12):
it might sting a little bit for Blake. She lives
in a bubble. Who doesn't. When you're that famous, you're
so used to everybody around you jumping and bowing and
being really really sweet. But when you come into a courtroom, suddenly,
at least it's meant to be an even odds for
all of us. So I like this, particularly after the
Diddy trial and a verdict and and a lot of people,
(11:33):
including me, did not agree with And I think you
could argue that fame might have played a little bit
of a role there in that verdict. That I like that,
before the trial even begins, this judge is saying I
don't know who you are. Before this trial began, I
had no idea who you are. And it's not going
to help or hurt in my courtroom. I like this.
(11:56):
It's I think it's fair. And if we're going to
accept a result, we have to believe in the process.
We have to believe it's fair.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
Oh of course. I just I don't see the point
of saying I don't know who any of you two are.
Don't you're telling me this judge, I mean, this court
case was in the New York Times. For God's sakes,
you're telling me this judge has not opened to New
York Times, has not read the news, has not seen
the news. Like that. That's a little bit. It's a
little bit much to go that far of going on
(12:24):
never heard of you.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
Yeah, maybe he should have said, oh, I saw your
name in the paper, but I wasn't. I had to
google you. I didn't know who you are.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
Right, Like, it almost sounds like I want this case
so bad, I'm going back like I don't.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
Know you, right. That's interesting? Oh, I hope not. I
want it to be fair here, I really really do.
I think that this is going to be really really
telling here. There's a lot of evidence on both sides.
We're going to be following it very very very very closely.
I'm happy that at least it looks like it's going
to be an even fair fair trial here. I think
the reason that Judge said it, from my understanding, and
(12:59):
we had reporters that the court has, is that Blake
was asking for some special conditions. She didn't want to
do a deposition and Justin's lawyer's office. She wanted them
to come to her, which is very unusual. And the
reason that she gave her that is she's just too famous.
She's too famous to get a Justin's lawyer's office because
a paparazzi stories. Even though, let's be honest, here Justin's
(13:20):
lawyer's office, it's really nice. It's not a radiation, like
it's not the Lincoln lawyer. It's a really nice small office.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
But you know, by the way Lincoln Lawyer season two,
very good, good. But you know what I you know
what I saw that moves as like to relate it
into sports. You know, if she was to go to
Baldoni's uh, you know, lawyer's office, she's not on her
hometown home.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
That's exactly what it was. It's an advantage. I totally
get it. The difference is, Garret, if me and you
were in a loss, me and you would have to
go to builder's office. Would Let's just be clear, I
do get the power.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Where would we be going? What have we done? I
don't want to know.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
We can't go to that lawyer's office. We're too famous, Garret,
that lawyer would be you come to this office. Okay.
Katy Perry, she's been through the ringer on this too,
and now a really dangerous accident. Sources are saying that
she's really ready for it to end. What's going on?
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Yeah, So I mean the thing is now, if you're
an artist in a concert, is to reach as many
people in the arena or stadium as possible. You know,
Pink made this famous by flying around beyond you We've
seen Beyonce do it on the car, on her car
and as she switched over to a horse because the
car malfunctioned. Well, in San Francisco just the other night,
(14:41):
Katy Perry looked like she was like on a on
a dragon and as she was flying and she was
singing roar, the dragon kind of like dropped down a
little bit, almost causing.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
It to fall.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
And she like on top of that, you know, between
that her marriage, the fact that she's still continuing on
with the tour, I think she's holding on by a
very thin thread.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Yeah. Yeah, it's a lot of work. Yeah, it's a
lot of work, Katie. I don't think you've got that
many dates left. Let's be honest to this tour did
not sell quite as well as what we had hoped,
or she hoped he would sell. So it's just a lot.
And I think too, there so much going on in
her personal life. Living out of a hotel is not fun.
She wants to be home. She just, you know, I
don't feel very well today and I just want to
(15:24):
be home. And so I can't imagine what Katie feels like.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
She's wearing a life of you is already back in
your bed right now, like pretty close.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
It's five more minutes and that's where I'll be. Okay,
We're going to take a quick break and we will
be right back. Welcome back to the Naudy but Niger
I'm shooting with idear friend Garrett Vogel. Hey, Garrett, let's
get to the polls. Last show, we talked about Pete
Davidson's in a subtle it's worried there's not yet ready
to be a father. A question was quite simple, will
(15:56):
Pete be a great dad? Seventy percent said yes. I
think this is fair here because Pete has been so
honest with his difficulties in the past, mental health issues,
substance abears. We can't just say he won't be a
good father. Maybe this will change everything. I know he's
working really, really hard at this. He's a good guy.
He went down a bad path, and if we started
(16:17):
to sets up criterias for people to be dads, none
others would ever be a dat.
Speaker 1 (16:23):
I don't think anybody's actually ready ready. I don't think
you sit down and go, okay, now let's do it
like you have the conversation, Hey, let's have a kid.
But you never going all right, I'm one hundred percent ready.
You're always going to be at least minimum fifty to
sixty percent ready because no one actually knows what happens.
I remember coming home that first night when we had
our son, and like I was like, oh my god.
(16:45):
I had that panic attack of like I'm not ready,
I'm not ready for this, but you have no choice.
And I think the same thing will happen with Pete
where he realized. He probably already knows now that he
realizes that he how he grew up with not having
a d and wanting to be there for his future child.
I think he's going to be an amazing father.
Speaker 2 (17:06):
So too, I think so too. I'm optimistic. Hey, don't
forget to vote on today's Paul go to page and
not Denis rob facebook page is Nordy Gossip. I'm sure
to check back to my rout here. Your results are
Now it's time for anoisest of the day.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Yes, well, I don't know if this is just a
confronted anger or misguided anger, but Prince Harry has had
enough not with his family but family guy over the
latest discs that happened. So he lost his patience of
being just the butt of the joke always now and
so we have learned exclusively the Shooter Scoop that the
(17:46):
Duke of Sussex personally reached out to the Family. Guy
creator Seth MacFarlane after the show took another brutal swipe
at both him and Meghan, comparing their marriage to a
disaster like Hitler and the Crusades.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Which is, yeah, it's too much, it's too much.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
He didn't find it funny at all, was as what
no one of the insiders was saying, and he contacted
Sets team directly and apparently it was very tense. You know.
In the episode, Harry groans again as Stewie Marx's relationship
and the react the writer's got the reaction they wanted
and apparently even more material.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
It's not gonna stop it. Why this is the nicest
is if you feel something, do it. Don't sit on
your feelings like reach out. I can't tell you how
many celebrities have emailed me after reading something they didn't
like that that I wrote. And I've done the same too,
and people have made fun of me. Wendy Williams once
made fun of my small arm. I have one arm
smaller than the other. She made fun of it on
TV and I sent her a note. I wasn't screaming
(18:43):
and shouting, but I was like, that was really painful,
and to her credit, she called me up and apologized,
and so like I do think if something is this painful,
and I like family guy, it's very very funny. But
when she's start comparing people to Hitler, you're lust. It's
we're with you on this one, Harry and nicest of
the day, and now I naughtys of the day, naughty, naughty, naughty.
(19:05):
Ben Affleck is livid over an x rated sex reveal
in the Gwyneth Paltrow New biography. So there's a real
shocking sex confession in this book that is apparently coming
from her late hairdresser, Kevin or Kahn, who lived in
this building. I knew Kevin. He passed away, but he
was always with Gwennough and he claims that Gwenneth used
(19:28):
to enjoy doing something sexual to Ben, We're not going
to talk about what it is on the show, but
if you follow my subseet you will see it there
really humiliating, you know, act, But if you're consenting adults
and you're in your privacy of your own home. I
guess anything goes. However, you still don't want people talking
about it. Ben, as kids they get to read this.
(19:51):
You don't want to know what mommy and daddy does
in bed, even if it's not together. It's just like
a question. I think. I think he's gone too far.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
But Bens, we're getting to the point in life now
where all these celebrities that over the last twenty years
that have made headlines for doing some crazy ass things
now have to have that tough conversation with their kids.
So with access to Google, you know, we're at that
point now, Rob, think about it. You know it's it's
gonna be interesting to see how all of that plays
(20:19):
out over the next five days.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
Ben, I think you're probably right to be annoyed about
this one. I noticed the day that's end with a
moment of Rob. You Rob, you get a Rob. It's
gonna be a short one to day because I'm not
sure my voice is gonna last much longer. But your
habits will determine your future. Not your talent, not your look,
not your intention, but your habits. What you did daily,
not occasionally, is what shapes your life. It's the small
(20:42):
decisions that you do every single day. Once again, your
habits will determine your future. Let's make it a habit
to be happy. Hey, that is eat for today. Thank
