Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice shooters.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
It's time love. Welcome to there, not even nice show.
I'm your host rab shooter. It's a Wednesday, which means
our dear friend Donnie Meacham joins us. Hey, Donnie, are
you there? Hello?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Oh he last week we missed you Robert.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
And rot and family stuff, family stuff. But I'm back, Donnie.
And it wasn't as if you wouldn't do a show.
I know you would. It was just technically too difficult
for me to do. But I'm not in this little
studio at home. I can't quite get it all together.
And there was a little bit of stress because my
dad has been sick. But we are thrilled you are back, Donnie.
Nobody makes me laugh like you. Am I laughing with you,

(00:51):
Donnie or at you. You know.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
I think it's a little bit of both.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
You can laugh at yourself though you can't you can
you can, although you do sound very cheerful today and
you look good.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Thank you. I I don't know what it is. I
don't don't want to drinx it. Still early here I did.
Maybe I feel good today. Maybe something's in the air.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Something's there, or maybe it's the fact that nothing's in
your bottle. Did you not go out drinking last night?
Maybe that's why you feel so good.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
I did not.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I was like this whole weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
I was very good. You just you get old and
you get tired.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
That's the problem, isn't it. When I used to get
drunk and I love drinking, I could get over a
hangover in a day. Now it takes me at least two.
It's just not worth it.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Two to three days.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
It's not worth it.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
And I love a good shot of fire player.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
You do live a good shot. Even in the few
years that you've left New York. I can't drink like
we used to. You and me would go to Spotoos
after the show. I would sit there, probably at four
or five o'clock. I would spend all night gossiping long
and I was, you know the next day heard but
it was three days. Now it's three days all three days.
Can't do too much? Okay, let's time, is it? My friends?
It is d times A big story. At the top

(01:58):
of the show, Jen and nis Sterne, who we Loveenjen
is saying no thanks to the met Gala. So the
friends legend, who is now fifty six, confessed the chiefs
turned down fashion's biggest nights more than once, and she
said she doesn't want to go. She's been invited many times,
thank you very much, but it overwhelms me. So she said,

(02:20):
she's much more of a Gen's flip flop and tank
top kind of girl. And getting ready, the hair, the makeup.
It's a mental game. Everybody is celebrating each other, but
she gets really, really nervous. Some people treat it like
a sport, she said, but not for her. She tries
to stay away from it. Now I can confirm this.

(02:40):
I once did the press for a carpet, a red carpet,
a movie premiere starring Gen. She didn't like the red carpet.
She did it. She looked glorious. She answered all the questions.
She was terribly plied. She was terribly professional. You could
just tell it wasn't her thing. She's not really a
show pony for somebody that is that famous, don Aya.
She really doesn't enjoy the attention like a real housewife

(03:02):
would or a reality starwood. So I sort of get
it here. How are you, Donnie? Do you like getting
dressed up and going out and doing the show busy
or are you more of a flip flop type of guy. Yourself.
This is me.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
My friends know this about me. I hate dressing up.
There's something uncomfortable about it. It's just I don't know
what it is. It's like because it feels so it's
not me in everyday life, and so like whenever I
have to do it, it's like, I just I feel uncomfortable.
But also like I don't see Jennifer Aniston like wearing

(03:35):
a bird cage, you know what I'm saying, Like, and
that's what you do at the Metvalley. You show up
Met Galley, you show and you're wearing like you know,
the you know, Saturn and your Reinus on your head
and the rotating and I don't see Jennifer and.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Do That's what it is. You just yeah, you're so smart.
This is why we have to have you on the
show every single week, not just weeks when I can
actually technically work it out, but every single week. That's
what it is. She can do the Golden she can
do the Oscar, she can do those the SAG Awards,
but when it comes to the Met Ball, it's the
complete outrageousness. It's the over the top celebrities. It's the Beyonces.

(04:10):
It's the Jennifer Lopez. Those are the stars that shine
at the met Ball, Sarah. Jessica Carrie Bradshaw is certainly
known for her outrageous fashion. Even when jen does the
Oscar Sall the Golden Globe, she's normally in a black
quind of sleek, yeah, very silky. Always looks like a
negliget type of a slip. She knows what suits her figure.
She's not going to do Kim Kardashian. She's not gonna

(04:33):
do that, And so I think maybe that's another reason
that this is not for her. I'm lucky enough to
have gone to two met Balls. I went once with
Jessica Simpson and once with Jennifer Lopez. It was an
awful evening, Donny. It was hours and hours and hours
of getting ready, at least for the stars, maybe twenty
minutes or an hour for me, and then you turn up.
Everybody is so uncomfortable, Donno, because you can't sit down

(04:55):
in those dresses. They are not designed to have a
good night in their design to look beautiful in the photographs. However,
after you've walked up those famous steps, which takes a
moment after you get to the top of the steps.
There's then nothing else to do. No presses allowed inside,
so they stand around, They get a drink, They go
into the Temple of Dumbdoor where the Egyptian exhibit is.

(05:19):
It looks magnificent and they have tables in there. You
have dinner and then Hugh Jackman as somebody comes out
and sings a song or two. Nobody pays any attention.
Everybody talks while they're singing. It's kind of like a
mean girl night. I think when Off Paltrow said that
and Tina Fay they said it was not that much fun.
I can affirm it. I really really did not have
a very good night at either one of these balls.

(05:40):
So I totally get what jen is saying, which brings
us to our poll question of the day. Jennifer confessed
that she's turned down Fashion's Biggest Night several times. Would
you go if you were invited? I think I know
the answer. I mean, you want to see it at
least once, I guess, But would you go? Is this
your thing? Donnie? Could we get you in to a night?
Raygeous took so you to? Could we get you into

(06:02):
a silk pair of chaps to walk up and down
that staircase. I think maybe we could. I don't know. Hey,
go vote on our Twitter page, had naughty nice ram
our Facebook page is I'm sure to take back to
Marahua to hear your results. Hey, Donnie, what are you
working on?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
We got another shoot a scoop here, And so there's
a lot of talk, is this is it not Travis
Kelsey's last year playing in the NFL and a shooter
scoop an exclusive A source inside the Kansas City Chiefs
do tell us it is his last season and everybody

(06:41):
knows it. And this is the thing too. I I
don't blame him for not wanting to come out and
say this is my last season ahead of the you know,
ahead of the season, because if you do, then every
game is, oh, that's his last, that that's his last,
that that's his last.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
That.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
To be honest, I think he would have retired last
year if they would have won the Super Bowl. I
think he wants to maybe try and win the Super
Bowl one last time with Patrick before he retires. So
and I think also it's a good time for him.
He's enjoying, he's about to be married, and so I
think this will cap off his year. Obviously, they will

(07:19):
not get married, as she has a new album coming out,
he has his final season of the NFL to play,
So I think it's kind of it's good timing for
the two of them. She's gonna go on tour while
he's finishing the NFL, and then boom, they get married,
have life. Who knows, babies, who knows what's gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
It's all gonna be good, Donny, I can tell you that.
We can confirm too that it has not been announced yet,
but it looks like Taylor Swift. He's going to play
the Super Bowl if he's definitely worse and she's the
halftime performer. That's how you retire. I mean, it will
be fireworks. It's literally the happy ever after. I think
we're all looking for. I gotta admit I don't know
much about this world of football, but I do know

(07:59):
that Brady has retired and then didn't retire, so he
sort of messed it up a little bit. I don't
think Travis is going to do that. He's getting offers
to do TV shows, even movies. I think he's in
Happy Gilmore. We know he's on a Are you smarter?
Than a fifth.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Grader type show celebrity.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
That's the one. Thank you very much, Darling, always there
to fact checked me. Thank you. So I think they're
going to do fantastic together. It's amazing that at the
young age, he's not that old at his age, is
talking about retirement. But you have to remember these professional athletes.
Your body that's old.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
That's old, thirty five years old.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
For the NFL. Right, that's really, really, really true. Hey,
come and join us. I was going to say, join
us on our podcast, but I think he already has
a very successful podcast.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
That little show called New Heights, that thing.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
He's doing great. These two are doing great. We wish
you nothing but the best. Okay, moving along. Oh, we've
got a scoop here. So Chloe Mally, who is the
new editor in chief of She's taken of her from
Anna Winter, might have had a little help getting the job.
And I'm not talking about her mom, Candice Bergan Murphy Brown.
Her mom is Murphy Brown and her dad is a

(09:10):
really successful French filmmaker, Louis. So this obviously helped, very
very helpful. However, what pushed her over the edge in
the interview is Jeff Bezos and Lawrence Anchez's sources tell
me that Laurence Anchez, who was on the cover of
Vogue at her wedding, guess who did the story. It
was Chloe. So they met Chloe when she did this story.

(09:31):
They really liked her, definitely, it was on Anna's list
of people. But this endorsement really really really helped. A
friend of mine was working at AOL and did a
story on Michelle Obama, and Michelle liked the story so
much she hired her at the White House. So you
never ever know where these opportunities are going to come from.
Is there a bit of Knepper baby here? Yes, a

(09:53):
lot of it. Her mother did I mention is Candace Baragan,
So that is certainly something that is really going help here.
I'm told too that she knows Hollywood because of who
her mom and her dad is. Vogue's going to be
leaning much more into celebrity, much more into Hollywood. You
can't have a Rollerdex when you are you or me, Donnie,
no matter how hard we work. She grew up in this,

(10:15):
so is it an unfair advantage you bear? It is,
But at the same time it sort of makes sense.
My big question is why does she care so much?
And I don't want to disrespect Vogue here, but it's
not what it's was. I used to be able to
tell you every single month who was on the cover
of Vergue. I've not read it in five years, like
I've really, It's like most magazines, they are not what

(10:37):
they are because of TikTok and social media and Instagram.
I get my fashion is now on social media sites,
not necessarily Vogue. Maybe she can breathe some new life
into it. I think it's a really, really hard job.
And let's be honest too, And a Winter's not leaving.
She got promoted upstairs, so the new editor in chief
of Vogue Chloe guess who she reports to, Donnie Anna Winter.

(11:00):
She didn't retire, so Annam really is still pulling the strings.
Some people are saying that Chloe is a puppet, someone
she's put in there to basically do the day to
day work that she doesn't want to do it doesn't
have the time to do herself. It's really tricky when
you hire somebody. You want to hire somebody who's going
to do a great job, but you also just don't
want to hire people because they have famous parents as

(11:20):
big as, big big as advantage that that is. And
I guess too, if Jeff Bezos endorses you and Laura Sanchez,
I guess you get the job. Who's been your best
endorsement to get you a job at Donny Menscham? Hmm,
thank you, thank you.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
You have gotten me quite a few jobs. I will
say that Rob sho Ta has done. I'm going to
say Derek Hartley, but you know what.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Right, thank you very much. I know it's something to
your to now. I've never got your boyfriend. I'm very
good on the professional front. On the personal front, Donnae
not Mike. I'm not good at matchmaking. I'm not good
at it.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
No, in all of your friends, I don't wouldn't want
to do any shady little general girls.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
I had a few guys that I have a friend,
straight guys. The few guys are straight and very very shady.
Stay away from them, Okay, living along Even Hawk I
used to adore. Remember when he was married to Uma
Thurman ugly split over twenty years ago with the nanny involved.
Remember all that drama. It was headlines everywhere. Well, he's
finally talking about the divorce. What does he have to say?

Speaker 1 (12:26):
We're in a new interview with GQ UK, which GQ
is part of the Conde Nast brand. So if bezos
By's Conde Nasts you would own you, he would own GQ.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
So he says that his divorce from Uma Thurman, which
is in two thousand and four, so that it's what
twenty one years ago, it's still one of the most
humiliating things in his life. He goes, although it was positive,
it was also very humiliating. But that's so interesting to

(13:02):
say because twenty one years later, you're still thinking about
your divorce. Twenty one years later, have you not done
anything since?

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Bro?

Speaker 1 (13:11):
I mean, you put out a few crappy movies.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
I'm not sure. If you know, I'm not sure.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
But Uma has.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Very stayed very classy. Yeah, regards Jan and she says,
I will not talk bad about, you know, do a
kid's father at all, which is very very classy. I mean,
twenty one you almost kind of forget they were even together.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Yeah, you do. It brings me back to a lovely time.
And I remember in this marriage blew up as she
was set in two thousand and for at the time,
there was relentless rumors that he was cheating with the
couple's nanny, and then he went on to marry her.
Although he did deny he was cheating, I realized, like
really was like, no, I'm not seeing the nanny. No,
name me the nanny.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
No.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
And then he married her just four years later. So
I think there's nothing embarrassing about being divorced. Getting divorced.
It happens to lots of eel So I don't think
that's what is humiliating. I think what's humiliated is what
you did, which is still doesn't totally own this very I.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Think this was in kind of sort of finally admitting it.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Yeah, yeah, as close as we're going to get to it,
okay quickly before we get a break, Harry, and they're
going to have major plans to involve their children Artie
a little bit to save their Netflix steal. So it
is not a coincidence that every time Megan seems to
be flogging something, selling something, we see the kids. This
has happened again. Now sources are telling me they really
are desperate to keep this Netflix steel and they are

(14:38):
talking not only about a Diana project, but also a
project to involve the children. This is tricky. It's their children.
They get to decide. They're the parents. It's none of
our business to decide this or not. However, you have screened, shouted,
cried about privacy for a really really long time, and
now for financial reasons. Let's be honest here. It's not
just because you suddenly had an epiphany and decide to

(15:00):
show us the kids. This is about money. Once again.
I like Meghan. I try so hard to be supportive
of them. They just can't help themselves. Donnie, this is
not a good look. Once again, it is your choice.
They are your children. However, to scream and shout about
privacy and protecting the kids. And then, whenever Meghan's trying

(15:21):
to sell a film, a project, a TV show, a
pot of jam, guess whose faces or at least the
back of their heads pop up online? Hey yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeae Okay, we're going to take a quick break for it.
Get myself into any more trouble and we will be
right back. Welcome back to the not even I shown
the hairs through our shoes through of the show, and

(15:41):
I'm with my dear friend Donny Meacham. Hey, Donnie, let's
get to the polls.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Last show.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
We talked about britt how Taylor, Taylor Swift, and Brittany
Mahoons celebrated her birthday. It was the thirtieth thirty. They
were out together, but Taylor stayed out of the pictures.
There's not really any pictures of Taylor. We've seen lots
of pictures of Brittany online. Britney has posted tons of
them on a social media. I scoured all these pictures.
Taylor isn't in them. We do know she was there.

(16:08):
Taylor did not want to steal the thunder. Taylor knows
that if she's in the pictures, it's going to be
all about Taylor. She wanted to go have a great
birthday with her friend. She did so is this the
right thing to do? Is it the right thing to do?
Ninety two percent said yes, you really like Taylor here.
She's one of those celebrities and it doesn't always have
to be about her. Donnie, Unfortunately, we don't know celebrities

(16:28):
as speakers. Taylor, we know real housewives. You want to
be in every aliphobe. There is no way a real
housewife could resist this. They would make it all about themselves. Taylor,
you are a class act. Hey don't forget to vote
on't today's pole. Go to a page and hadnaughty nice
rob her facebook pages? Norready gossip and be sure to
check Beck to Mark Rau or to hear your results.

(16:51):
And now are you ready for it? It's time for
nicest of the day.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Also a little quick note, Britain is a little more
conservative than Taylor is, and so Taylor does. Also, Taylor's
very smart about optics, and so I would not let's
not over shadow Taylor.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
Look said, thank you for raining on our nicest at
the day.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
Well, it's still nice of Taylor.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
I'm gonna find something nice. I'm gonna find something nice
about the nicest the day. Come about the Rock.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
The Rock is shrinking to a pebble. People are saying
he's slimmed down, and people are worried that he's like,
oh my gosh, is he's sick. Is there's something wrong
with him? No, A Scoop tells Shoot Scoop that he
is healthier than ever. This is about acting, not an illness,
but the problem. Also, we let's not forget about it.

(17:49):
When The Rock was a huge WWE superstar. You're working
out every day, you're bulking up you're you know, you're
supposed to be this big giant man. He's getting older.
Your body also doesn't sustain that type of muscle mass
and that type of weight. Also, if you're going to
be you know, a father or whatever in a movie,

(18:10):
you don't need to look like, you know, the hawk.
You don't need to be a small man.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
You're absolutely right to eat that amount of calories to
have that sort of muscle. It's a full time job,
and he just doesn't want to do it anymore. And
on this show, we try not to judge people by
the way they looks, by their bodies, by what they wear.
And so good for him. He looks great, he looks great.
Is a big guy. He's still a big, big guy.
He looks fantastic. Check out the pictures of the rock

(18:38):
and now I noticed the day naughty, naughty, naughty, Howard
stern Ah has canceled his return. So he was meant
to return today on serious XM, lots of speculation about
his contract. He said and promoted that he would be
back today to tell us, or really it was yesterday,
Let's be clear, he up yesterday to tell us all
the details. Suddenly it was canceled, so sept suddenly became

(19:01):
September eighth. Insideers tell me his cat died, and so
that was the reason. I know. But for five hundred
million on the line here, I mean it is really
I love that you love your kept and I love
that Beth his wife. He loves Beth. Beth is the
storied about this. But nevertheless, if there was this much
money on the line, Donnie, I might turn up at

(19:22):
any one of these events and NAUGHTYU is the day.
Let's end with a moment of rob. You get a Robb.
You gotta Robb, You get Rob, You get a rob.
Only people who aren't happy with themselves are mean to others.
Listen to that again. Only people who aren't happy with
themselves are mean to others. Cruelty, It doesn't come from strength.
It comes from pain. When somebody is mean or bitter

(19:44):
or cutting, it's not because they're powerful, Donnie, it's because
they are struggling. Happy people don't tear others down. Peaceful
people don't spread poison, and secure people they don't lush
out meanness. It's just a mirror and it reflects their
own insecurity, their own unhappiness, and their own battles. So

(20:07):
the next time someone comes at you, remember it's not
about you, it's about them. Hey, that is it's for today.
Thank you so much for listening. So they're not even
nice with Rob and Donnie show a production of iHeart
Radio and I was the ran. Don't forget to subscribe
on the iHeart Radio ap Apple podcast. Wherever you listen,

(20:29):
leave us a review if you can, and all together,
I'm including you, Donnie, who disappeared from your microphone for
a couple of seconds there. I was wondering if I'd
have to do the goodbye by myself. But you're I'm
gonna ask no questions, darling. But I did see you
scurry off and then shit, be back, shuffle back to
the microphone. What were you doing? Where did you go?

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Mich Copeter is about to die, so ahead of runn
and grab the charter.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. I knew it.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
I knew it.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Well, you can say goodbye together? Are you ready? If
you're going to be, you've got to be. Let me
hear you, Tony. Oh thank god, we've got that final
round out of your pet. It's not even nice with
