Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice. Sure Bice, Welcome to the Naughty but night Sham
your house for arm Shooter, and it is Tuesday morning.
We have a very sleepy Miss D Beaus. I believe, Hey, Misday,
are you there?
Speaker 2 (00:24):
I am, and yes I'm a little sleepy. The BET
Awards twenty twenty five aired last night. Now it was
an amazing show, but it lasted quite a long time.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
It was more than four hours of a live broadcast.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
So around twelve fifteen am, Miss D, we just had
to take a little nap. I'm like, I'm sorry, Kirk Franklin,
you're doing a great job, but Miss D sleepy.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
You gotta go to sleep. But it's funny you're having
a sleepy show today. I had a sleepy show on
Monday because it was the Tony Awards on Sunday night,
so I was at very very late. They're liberating with
some of my friends. But you know what, Miss D.
We can do this. We can yeah, we can do it.
Full of energy, full of gossip, full of giggles. Are
(01:10):
you ready, my friends? What time is it? It is time? Huge,
huge story at the top of the show, so justin
Bell done is four hundred million dollar lawsuit you heard
that right. Four hundred million dollar lawsuit has been tossed
out as a judge side with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
So Justin bell doone, he took a brutal legal beating
(01:33):
yesterday and insiders are telling me he is totally humiliated.
Let me explain. So a federal judge has tossed out
his explosive lawsuit against Blake and Ryan and don't forget
their powerhouse publicist Leslie Sloan, I've known for years, calling
the allegations everything from privileged to baseless. Oh now a
(01:55):
separate lawsuit against The New York Times that Justin five
claiming defamation that has also been thrown at. So what
we're left with now, Naughty's just to explain is the
original lawsuit. The battle began after Blake accused Justin of
sexual harassment on the set of It Ends with Us,
(02:17):
So that is going forward. He hit back, saying there
was a smear campaign against him that has been thrown out,
But the original lawsuit still stands. So Justin has a
battle against him, so does Blake. She has to prove
sexual harassment on the set. He's going to fight back.
(02:37):
We did see Blake out last night celebrating big smile.
She didn't speak to the press, but I saw pictures
of her at the Tribeca Film First of all, I
had some journalists stand there and they said she was glowing.
So we cannot underestimate Naughty's that this is a massive,
massive legal victory for Blake today. It's really really big.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
What do you think, mister Well, I had to can't
some of the lawyers in my family, but my lawyer
had on. So just one of the reasons, or two
of the reasons that the judge threw out the case,
he said a that allegations made in a lawsuit are
exempt from libel claims, So that's why one of the
reasons why it was thrown out. Also, Judge Lyman ruled
(03:19):
that Baldani's claims that Lively stole creative control of the
film because that's one of the things he alleged didn't
count as extortion, which is what he was saying that
he wanted under California law. So these are two of
the reasons that his case.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Was thrown out.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
But I know we saw Blake Lively smiling, but I
don't think she should be grinnin just yet because she
is still being tried in the public court of life,
and a lot of people have already made a decision
about her. We've seen that in how her products have
lost money, how they've gone down the sales and so.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
And also I think this.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Says that if his can be thrown out, so can hers,
and that would just negate everything, right. It's just like
y'all should have sat down, got yourself some tea and
talked it out. So but I know, you know what,
I'm not going to take the moment away from her.
At least she doesn't have to worry about losing four
hundred million dollars.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
Four hundred million dollars. I mean, it is something so
interesting the two technicalities here. So Justin was saying that
she had defamed him, but she had done so in
a lawsuit, so she hadn't done so on the Today
Show or the Tonight Show. She put all these accusations
against him, which he said was defamation in the lawsuit,
(04:38):
while a jud just said no, no, no, nothing in
a lawsuit can be held against the person saying it,
So that wiped that out. And then the other technicality
is so interesting too, Misty, I'm so glad that we
have a lawyer on the naughty but nice staff. Is
this now our official lawyer, your fabulous sister.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
You'll just have to call her when we need a
little She is a.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Lie, right, We're great gossip colorists, weido celebrity journalism, reporting,
been a lawyer, legal mist You're better than me. But
I'm so happy we've got somebody on speed dial. Now
what a what a point that you just made their
misty her suit against him could be thrown yeah as well,
and so maybe we're going to be back to where
(05:23):
this all began, which these two just don't like each other.
Question then, I think, so interesting mister, is where does
this leave to Taylor Swift? Like? Is it possible now
for Taylor and Blake to kiss and makeup? Remember that
subpoena against Taylor has also been thrown out because just
thin this lawsuit is gone, and so Taylor and I
does not have to worry about being dragged into this.
(05:46):
But she's already really shown her true colors, which is
she dumped Blake when the going got tough. Many of
us did, many of us turned on Blake. So what
do you think is gonna happen now? With Taylor.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
I think this friendship is a rub of cookamel I
tried to say that word, so yeah, I think it's
hard to go back and be like, oh hey, sorry, girl,
didn't mean to treat you like that again.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Yeah, I don't see them hanging out like they used to.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Now.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
They may be very polite to each other in public.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
They may appear at events together and have a moment,
but she ain't go home and colin her and being
like that was so much fun.
Speaker 3 (06:24):
That is shut down.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
It should die. I don't know if Blake will want
it back in my home. Yeah, my Muma and need
I had had a terrible legal moment, a personal moment,
and you dumped me. And then when everything was good,
when I would the lawsuit what I would the day,
suddenly you're calling the game. I don't know if she
would even want it back, which brings us to our
whole question of the day. Just in Baldoni's four hundred
(06:48):
million I can't say that loud in a four hundred
million dollar lawsuit has been tossed out? Will this win
Taylor Swift back? What do you think is Taylor Swift
come to text? It was such trouble Bakers the Day
on the Doughty Bada Show. What do you think here? Hey?
You go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Noise
Room Facebook page is I'm sure? Let's check that time
(07:11):
my rival to hear your results. Hey, miss Stela, where
do you work it on them?
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Well?
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Megan Markle is ready to take on her most ambishop
project yet now she wants to get ready for it
launch Sussex Hotels under her as Ever lifestyle brand. Okay,
I could rob yes, can you see this? We're thinking
farmed a table, breakfasts, royal approved linens, and curated throw pillows.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
In every single room.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Now there's just one little problem for she don't have
the cash.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Now.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Sources are telling us she's dreaming big, I mean getting
into the hospitality space, especially with so many things happening
with AI. People still have to actually physically live places,
so it really is a smart idea. But her family
just doesn't have the money to pull it off themselves.
So Megan and Harry are looking into investors, which makes
sense find a hotel group to work with, but enthusiasm
(08:11):
from the crowd has been uh kind of may so
they pitched him around La New York London. But nobody's
written and written a check next because unfortunately Meghan's track
Regan hasn't really been proven yet. We know that she
tried to write a book that got squashed. She's been
trying to do some TV shows that have been squashed.
(08:32):
So she's got to find an investor who believes in her.
I actually think this is a really interesting idea. I
think it would be great to have a moment of
Royalty to live and curated by Megan herself. Who wants
to be a lifestyle brand, wants to be that expert,
and who knows if Megan and Harry pop by their
(08:53):
hotels every once in a while, you could be surprised, Yes,
I book a room?
Speaker 3 (08:56):
What do you think?
Speaker 1 (08:58):
I like it? I like the idea. First of all,
she has immaculate tank either people that don't like Niggin
have to come on. She knows how to style a table,
a room, an outfit like, she knows the taste level
will be extraordinary. And who doesn't want to be a
prince or a princess for a few nights in a hotel?
(09:18):
So I would literally sell this royal fantasy. I think
a lot of people are going to want to do that.
It costs hundreds of millions of dollars there to build
a hotel, to be the Hilton chain, to be a
big luxury hotel the four seasons. It's really expensive. You
have to build or buy buildings and then you have
to renovate them. This is not starting a podcast that
(09:40):
you can do on you know, ten dollars on Amazon,
buy a cheap bike and you're up and running. This
is really really expensive. So the question is is she
going to be able to raise the money? I would
guess she's not going to raise it in America or
even certainly not in the UK. I'm not sure Europe.
Maybe Saudi Arabia seem to be wanting to invest a
(10:02):
lot of their money in America, maybe even China. Maybe
that seems to be where the investments are coming from.
So I understand that this is a good idea. Problem
is you got to look at her track record and
before you and me mystery, before we sign over two
hundred dollars from the Naughty but Nice Saving Bank, we
(10:24):
gotta say, I don't know if I'm gonna get that
money back, and it's not because the idea is abad
the follow throom it's the follow room. She's got to
hire some really smart people, real estate people, people who
already work at hotels. Hire the head of Hilton to
come and work for you, Megan. And until you put
together that team, that portfolio, me and mister we ain't
(10:45):
given her money.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Well, I actually have an idea for Megan, as I
always do as her surrogate mom. So this is where
Aaronbnb comes into play. What they should do is partner
with them. Aaronbnb does this theme places that you can
rent for a time and test it out, see how
it goes, see how it works, and that is the
(11:07):
way to go, and if it's successful, then you can
think about taking the next step. I'm telling you they
need to hire a miss di as a consultant because
I got all the good ideas for Megan.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Absolutely. Let me tell you that's why you hear mis Day.
You're not only a fabulous person, you would smart. Okay,
let's move along the show. So Miley Cyrus and Jojo
Seawall have a little bit of a few So if
you remember, Jojo Seawall had a girlfriend, now she has
a boyfriend, and Miley had a little bit of fun
about this at a Pride Festival. She was laughing and joking,
(11:42):
and she said she's going to go and find Jojo
and bring her back out, implying she went back into
the closet. Now, some of the fans here, some of
the gay fans, have said, oh, this is bashing people
for being bisexual, for pan sexuality. I think it was
just a joke. Everybody, calm down, everybody. I think it
was just a joke. It has been a little bit jarring, mister,
(12:05):
and it's difficult. We do not understand a lot about sexuality.
We're just starting to understand gay people. Now we want
to understand trans people, bisexual people. It's just so much
going on. It's just so much to take in. So
we can all take a moment and think about this.
But it is possible to like boys and girls, bisexual
(12:26):
people do exist out there. There might not be as
many of them as you know, as gay men, or
maybe they are and they're just not willing to say
anything about it. Sexuality is a very very tricky thing,
a very delicate thing. I do think, Miley, there has
been a bit funny here, Like it is funny that
one day you got a girlfriend, another day you got
a boyfriend. Good for you. It is funny, but she
(12:49):
didn't read the room. She told this joke and a
LGBTQ pride of it. That's a sensitive crowd on this topic.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Yeah, and obviously has dated boys, she's dated girls, so
she's also bisexual or pan sexual, whatever you want to
call it. So, but I think for for Jojoh, I
think for Jojo and all these young people, it's just
they're expressing themselves and they're free to love who they
want to love.
Speaker 3 (13:18):
And we don't even need to put labels on it.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
If you want to love a boy one day, fine,
If you want to love a girl one day, fine,
as long as you find someone who cares for you
and makes you feel like the king or queen that
you are. So you know what, I think we should
just do way with labels and just be like, hey,
this is my boom.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Keep it. Great advice, the great advice again. Okay, quickly,
before we go to break, we have a Patty Lapone update.
We love the Tony's here, we love theater missive. This
has been a massive story in the theater community. What's
going on now?
Speaker 2 (13:51):
So, as we know, Patty Lapone was shaded by Oprah
Winfrey during the twenty twenty five Tony Awards, and now
Patty is feeling humiliated, abandoned, and unfairly targeted despite being
the one who lit the match. So what our sources
are saying is she's acting like she's the hurt party.
(14:12):
She called Keisha Lewis b word, she dismissed Audrey McDonald
like she was background noise, and now that she's upset
that people have clapped back belase. Now the sources are
saying that Patty was crushed by Opu's savage job. It
was a thinly veiled nod to her headmaking headline making
(14:33):
out burrs. When the media mogul quipped during her Best
Actress presentation, a lot of talking going on. This was
talking about Broadway women who have defined the stage. And
so when you think about it, I mean, I can
understand why you'd be upset, but.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
Girl, girl, y'all lit the match. So what did you expect?
What do you think? Rob?
Speaker 1 (14:56):
I just hate this one happens. Friends have done this
to me, They've caused dram and I've snapped back and
then I'm the bad guy and they feel humiliated. Patty
is embarrassed here and That's why I'm not even sure
her apology is as real as we wanted. Her apology
to me seemed to me more upset that five hundred
theater professionals had signed a letter. She seemed more upset
about that than what she actually said about these two
(15:18):
magnificent individuals. And now I think she's upset that the
most powerful person in the world, Oprah, at least in
the entertainment Oprah, was the one that rolled her eyes,
and so he is humiliating. But maybe instead of playing
the victim, you should say I deserve it. Oprah was
absolutely right. I did this. I'm trying to be that
person mistake, because I can shift the blame to I
can play a victim like no other mystery. You don't
(15:41):
do that role very often, Mistea, all the years I've
known you, you really don't. But I can. Oh, and
often you'll be like, well, Rob, you did say this first.
I did. Absolutely. There is a big producer on a
morning show who does not like me very much because
I do a lot of reporting about him and the show.
When he snubbed me at a party, I fell onto
(16:01):
the banquette and oh, I've been snubbed, and you were like, Robert,
you took a punch, firs. That's true, that's true. Can
he get it together? Okay, we're going to take a
quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
to the Naughty but Nice Show and your host Arm
Shooter with our dear friend, miss hey, miss let's get
to the post. Last year we talked about this really
(16:23):
concerning post social media post by Justin Bieber talking about
transactional relationships. These are relationships where you've got to do
for me for me to do for you. A lot
of these relationships exist, though hopefully not in friendships or
in love. But my job, mister, I go there because
I'm paid. That's literally the definition of transactional. I do
the work and you pay me. That's a transaction. So
(16:46):
there's nothing wrong with transactional relationships as long as they're
not in your private life or your friend life. Our
question was, does Justin need help? He seems to be
crying out for help, doesn't he. Let's have a look.
Eighty four percent said he yes, just to need some help.
I agree. Don't forget to vote on today's Paul. Go
to our Twitter paget Naughty nice Er about Facebook page
(17:07):
is naughty, Gilson, be sure to check back to Marau
so he your results. And now it's turned for nices
over the draw.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
Well.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Our nicest of the day is Britney Spears because she
is making another heartfelt attempt to reconnect with her eighteen
year old son Jayden, and now fans are swooning over
a recent joy ride video between the two of them
and the loving viral clip. Brittany is riding in the
passenger seat while her son is driving, and she's gently
(17:38):
sweeping the hair from his face. But it is a
sweet moment. Still, you have to understand that going on
in this family is Jaden sees himself and we said
this as the parent or maybe the person who's in
charge now, and he worries about her deeply, and just
this moment it seemed like a nice, genuine moment, but
(18:00):
with him and the driver's seat, that literally it symbolizes
that he's in charge now. And I did say that
that he's going to have to meet his mother where
she is and be the bigger person. I'm at eighteen
years old. It's not easy to do, but I'm glad
to see he's trying. So he's our nicest of the
day too.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Yeah, I'll please let this work out for both of you.
And now I noticed the day naughty, naughty, naughty. So
the ladies at the View have been told to cool
it after a big ABC correspondent were suspended. So this
guy called Terry Moran. You might not know him, he's
not a George Stephanopolis, but he is a big deal
at ABC. He posted some really anti Trump comments that
(18:41):
went viral, and then ABC suspended him, saying, now journalists,
I meant to be neutral. People do this, don't they?
They work, their work is so great, they work really hard,
and then they do something stupid on social media. Well,
now everybody at ABC is just on edge a little bit.
If they can suspend somebody like Terry, they can suspend
will Be gold Book, they can suspend Joy they are. Now.
The difference is that Joy Show, will Be Show is
(19:04):
an opinion show. So where do you draw the line, Like,
you're paying me for my opinion, but yet you don't
want an opinion that's going to get us sward. And
we know the Trump administration is very lintigitious, and so
this one is just a mess. I feel bad for reporters,
for journalists I also feel bad for the whole system here.
It makes things so so difficult and naughty uest of
(19:24):
the day. Hey, let's end with a moment of yesterday
was heavy. It was really heavy yesterday. So put it down.
You don't have to carry it around anymore. The regret,
the overthinking mister, the weight of what did not go
right yesterday. Let it all go because today is a
new chance, a new breath, a new beginning. You can't
(19:49):
move forward if you're dragging the past behind you. Just
let it go. Hey, that is it for today. Thank
you so much for listening the naughty bit Nice with
Rob and mist Show, a production of iHeartRadio. Don't forget
to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app Bubble podcast wherever you listen,
and leave us a review if you can. They really
(20:11):
do help and remember altogether. Now let me hear you
singing your long if you're going to tell everybody story.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
But nice with Rom
