Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
It's and level. Welcome to the naughty but nice. I'm
your host shooter, and it is Wednesday, which means our
dear friend Donny Meacham joins us.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Hey, Donnie, a little more NAUGHTI than nice this morning.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
You wish you all together, but here we are. Look
at us, trouble shooting. We're not just good at the gossip,
We're good at the technology. Whoever thought when we first
met all those years ago at Dereka Remains Radio station
that we both would be this fabulous together.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Well, I knew I would be fabulous. I wasn't sure
about you how to start?
Speaker 2 (00:54):
You knew I was fabulous at doing this. You just
didn't believe I could ever hit record.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
I didn't believe that you'd be able to be so
technologically savvy. That's what's because I'm really before sweet it
was a little sadly.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
You've just trained a good memory. I'm good literally going
through the motions. So I know now the four things
to do, and I have to do them exactly the
same order.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Can we look, we'll turn this. You know what we do.
We're going to start with a little moment of rob early.
What we do is That's a good example in life though,
is like, you know, people aren't amazing at everything right away,
You're not. You know, a very few people are you know,
talented enough anybody. Time you keep at it, a lot
(01:44):
of people give up. That's the problem. They'll never make it.
If you just keep going, keep going, You're going to
get it.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Oh, absolutely, I believe it, Donny. We can keep going
on this. I love a moment of rob at the
top of the show. It's really true. My nephew is
a pilot. He's no, he's not smarter than me.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
He just trained.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
My other sister is a music teacher. She's not smarter
than me. She'd just learn to play the piano and
she did it by doing it every single day. You
can do it. The question is do you want to
do the work to get it? And that's a really
legitimate question. I would really like six pack abs, and
I know how to get them, Donnie, I'm just not
willing to do the work, and so I will never
(02:21):
have them. So you literally have to say to yourself,
I know you want it, but it doesn't come for free,
doesn't come easy. Are you willing to do the work?
And if the answer is yes, you will get it.
And if the answer is no, you probably well and
let's jump into our show, What time is in My
Friends and big story at the top of the show,
Katie Perry and Prime Minister Justin Now I miss perhaps
(02:42):
pronounced his name the last time we did it, Tradeau. Yes,
that's what it is, one or the other. You know
who we're talking about. We told you first they were
never dating, and so you shouldn't be at all surprised.
But they fell apart, so I was laughing out lad.
There's some reports out there that they've drifted apart. No,
(03:03):
they were never ever together. She was playing calendar. He
wanted to go and see her show because his daughter
is a fan, so this wasn't a date. He was
there with his daughter and when he inquired about the tickets,
they said, oh, Katie would love to meet you. And
they went and had a great dinner together, not with
the daughter, just with the two of them, and they
had a brilliant night. But they never dated. This is
(03:23):
the thing, darnay. Even if that first dinner was romantic,
I'm told it wasn't. But even if it was, you
don't date. When you get to dessert. It takes a
while to get to dated. They had dinner together, they
had a lovely time, but they're not together. They have
not fell out, they've not fell out of touch. They
were never really in touch. Do they have each other's
(03:45):
emails and phone numbers? Yes, Do they occasionally text, yes,
but neither one are dating. Sometimes we want these celebrities
DNA to be dating so much, we just make this
stuff up. And they are not a couple. They have
never been a couple. It's so bad. They're so cute together,
but they just never really they never mashed. You know,
like sometimes when you try to say, oh, these two
(04:06):
people would be great together, it's not up to us,
it's up to them. They just never really fit together.
But just in staughter got great seats to a Katy
Perry Cunst, So maybe that makes that cool. What do
you think?
Speaker 1 (04:18):
So here's the thing we have to remember about this,
you know, Hollywood pr machine, And we also have to
remember the timing of these photos. They just happened to
come out right after Orlando Bloom was in Italy for
mister Bezols's wedding and was seen gallovanting around town with
(04:40):
all these different ladies him and Sydney see just chilling,
kicking it. He's like having a grand old time and
then all of a sudden, boom, Katy Perry just it's
like she had her people sitting outside that restaurant snapping away.
In the second they were taking this in to the
(05:00):
breast and it worked fabulously.
Speaker 2 (05:05):
It worked fabulous word fabulously, and it sold out her
concert in Canada. The ticket sales have been spotty on
Katie's tour. Some cities have been really strong, some not
so strong. But after these pictures were everywhere they went worldwide.
There are the covers of newspapers. Her tickets exploded and
they were just in showdup that was dancing away, looking adorable,
(05:26):
dancing away. This is a benefit of both of them.
It makes him look cool, It makes him look like
he can score a rock star, a literal rock star,
And it makes her look cool because he is the former,
he was the prime minister, and he's as cute as
a button. And it's adorable. So I get why they
wanted us to believe this. It was never true. It
is not true. It is not true. Moving forward, they
(05:47):
are just friends, and even that is an exaggeration. They
know each other. These are two people who are too famous,
people who sort of hung out for a night. But
I don't think we're going to see any more of
them together, which brings us to our pearl question of
the day. Justin and Kati's so called romance was total fantasy.
It was never real. Did you want these two to
be a couple? What did you think?
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Though?
Speaker 2 (06:07):
I know it's not real, but did you were you
reading for them in a strange way? Did you think
these two would be great together?
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Let me know by voting on our tit to the
page add naughty Ice rob Our facebook page is not
a gossip. I'm sure to check back to my rauta
here your results. Hey, Donny Love, what are you working on?
Speaker 1 (06:25):
His story is tricky? So Matthew Perry's Kennyine Queen has
cut a deal, but is keeping her celebrity secrets. So
the Hollywood dealer tied to Matthew Perry's tragic twenty twenty
three death. She may be heading to prison, but she's
(06:47):
not naming names. Insiders tell Shooter Scoop that Jazzine singer
she's the North Hollywood supplier dubbed the Kenyine Queen. She's
kind a plea deal. She will not name her celebrity
clientele list. She's protecting her business. You know, her little
black book is golden. Now everybody knows that's not just Matthew.
(07:11):
You're not just all of a sudden, you didn't get
a hold of Matthew Perry and unless you one of
his friends introduced you to her, like that's how this works.
But she is refusing to name names, which is smart
of her. But also the sad part is in this
drug world, the fact that she's caught and you know,
(07:35):
she has a higher change somewhere, it becomes a very dangerous, dangerous.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
Dangerous Yeah, yeah, now it's upsetting. I have a feelings
about this though, because I don't think she should necessarily
name the people that she supplies, not the victims here.
Who she should name is her suppliers. Where is she
getting the drugs? Fum? I want to go up the chain.
Would it be fascinating to see her little black book
and to see all the people in Hollywood who are
(08:02):
abusing drugs? There's a lot of them, Donnie, you live there.
I've covered this industry for a long time. It's a lot.
It's not just one or two. However, if we found
out that X Star was also abusing drugs, does that
actually help anybody? I don't think it does. It helps
the tabloids, it helps the media. It's a great, delicious,
(08:22):
scandalous story, but it's not going to help our kids
out there who are literally literally trying to fight this plague.
And so for me here as a gossip colomist, I'd
love to know all the celebrity names. I'd love to
know who who are her clients? Who are her clients?
But that doesn't help what we're trying to fix here.
What we need to know is where does she get
her drugs from? Where are the drugs coming into the country,
(08:45):
Where is she getting them from, Who are her higher ups?
Who is supplying her? Is she just boiling it up
in her own kitchen?
Speaker 3 (08:51):
I doubt it.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
These are coming from somewhere, and that's how you stop
it by not necessarily hurting going after the people abuse
using the victims. Here, I think we can say it's
a complicated one, but she's got a deal. She is
not naming names. I'd imagine a lot of people are
really really of a sive relief, don't know. I bet
they have a real sigh of relief in Hollywood this weekend. Okay,
(09:15):
moving along, Taylor Swift's new Showgirl era is really close.
It's not until October third, but that is not that
far away. However, a few lucky friends have already heard
the album, so Taylor has privately previewed a new album
to Selena Gomez and also Zoe Kravitz. Zoe Kravitz talked
(09:35):
about it, saying it's just simply amazing. However, one friend,
or we should say no'm probably former friend who has
not heard any of the songs and probably wants to
hear them desperately because they think her song.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Might be about them.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Is Blake Lively. Insiders tell me that Blake is no
longer in the inner cirtle. She has not heard the song.
She's pretty much heard every other Taylor album. That's one
of the perks. I think there's many perks of being
Taylor Swift's friend, but listening to this great music before
it actually goes out into the world, it must be
thrilling now. Also, too, there is a track on the
(10:07):
album ruin the Friendship. Ooh. People are very suspicious about that.
Let me point out though, that Taylor wrote this album
while she was on the Airess tour, when she was
still friends with Blake. So I'm married to a songwriter.
You don't just write a song this afternoon and record
it tomorrow. It takes a long time to write, produce, publish,
(10:29):
get it on an album. And so even though that
song title now looks very, very suspicious because she said
out with her friend Blake, it actually was written a
while ago. So I'm not quite sure of the connection.
But what do you think, Donni? Would you let your friends?
Would I be one of your friends? They got to
hear your album before it went hide.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
So here's the thing, though, So let's say you're you're
chilling at home, you just finished an episode of ninety
eight Yante and Taylor is like, let me play the album.
Let me play the album. What do you do? You
tell Taylor, I'm not sure if I like that song?
Speaker 3 (11:03):
Just they don't.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Maybe you should change Maybe does that work? Like I
just don't think you tell Taylor Swift, I'm not sure.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
But I went to this listening party. A friend of
mine went to Eliza Menellie listening party, and I thought
it would be one or two songs from the album
of Free Wine. They locked the door the whole album
for an hour.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
And I love Liza Menellie. My friend you might does
not love Liza Manelli as much, but even I was like,
you know, two songs, that's a good tease, maybe three
maybe three, but twenty fifteen twelve songs like it's a lot.
I think if I was tired, i'd say, why don't
we just listen to my first single? That's when I
listened to you and I met to just let's listen
(11:48):
to your your favorite. When I went to Jessica Simpson,
she played us the first single to this album she
had coming out that didn't sell very well, and it
was not a very good song, and it just wasn't
very good and we all sort of sat there.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
She did she do?
Speaker 2 (12:01):
By our reactions, we're like.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
Oh, wow, wow, wow, wow.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
You know when you never really say anything. None of
us was like that's great.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
We're like, oh, interesting choice. You could sort of I
would guess this is great. Though, yeah, I would think, Taylor,
you don't have to fake it. I would imagine it
is amazing. Oh Taylor's show Girl era. Sorry, Blake Lively, Okay,
moving along, our friend Wendy Williams. There's lots of reports
out there that she's doing great. Aar insiders are saying that,
unfortunately is not the case.
Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yes, her close friends are fearing that the dementia is
real now, although she's out there and you know, for
her birthday, she was at that fabulous steakhouse and she
was putting on a show and she had called every
paparazzi that she knew to get there. And you know,
she's saying that she's fine and she wants out of
(12:51):
this conservatorship that in titles are telling Shooter Scoop that
her medical tests are painting a different Sure, they're saying
the tests.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Don't lie that she has it's medicine is something has.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Flashes of old Wendy scharpwoody and fun, but when you
spent time with her, you could tell something's not right.
And that's how dementia works. And let's not forget that.
It's not like this is Wendy Williams at forty on
her talk show. She's a sixty one year old women.
This is a sad, natural course of life that some
(13:26):
people take. And so it's not like this is you
know anything.
Speaker 2 (13:30):
She's still rob a bank. She's not guilty of anything here.
This is nothing to be ashamed about. But there is
something here. Her friends a region out sid press saying
she's great, she's back on top, She's the Wendy we
used to know. Look at her, she sounds great. What
I'm hearing is that is just not the case. When
I last saw Wendy, there were moments when she was Wendy.
There was just a few seconds when she really sparkled
(13:51):
like a diamond. But then if you if you hung
out with her more than ten minutes, you realize there
was something very, very wrong. We spent the evening together.
I ended up going back to her apartment with her,
and it was clear. It was clear to me that
something really really is going on. And now these test
results have have sort of confirmed that they don't lie
the test results. If she was fine, if she didn't
have dementia, this conservatorship would be gone. They've extended it,
(14:14):
and they can only extend it if they've got the evidence.
And so I understand why Wendy's friends are doing this,
But in the long run, you're not helping Wendy. You're
really really not because you're putting out a message there
that's just not true, and it's building her up to
be someone she cannot be. It is fine having a disability.
It is fine having a medical condition. It's fine having
(14:34):
a mental condition. It's only not fine when you pretend
you don't. In life, you can survive so many put down,
so many, so many dramas, so many setbacks if you're
honest with yourself. And I think Wendy's friends would do
Wendy a better service, a bigger favor if they were
honest with her. Okay, quickly, before we get a break,
(14:55):
we find it out all those million dollar housewives, remember
those million dollar Real Housewives are millions of dollar. We
were so popular, everybody loves us. None of it's true.
So Teresa Judici's ex husband is revealing that for the
first season she only got paid twenty five thousand, not
per episode for the whole season. Bethanie said she got
just over seven thousand for the first season. Did they
get increases, absolutely yes, But Brother was always cheap. The
(15:19):
reason Brother was such a successful network is they watch
the budgets. They're really frugal. Anyone that you know that's
on a Brother show who claims they're making a million impossible.
They just don't get those sort of ratings. Do you
know who makes a million? Jennifer Anderson, the Cast of Friends,
who used to get six seven million people watching it
(15:39):
a prime time and it repeated around the world. Sarah,
Jessica Parker, Sex and the City's on around the world.
The Housewives, they don't do so well. Even at the
peak of that show, it was a couple of million.
Now it's down to a few hundred thousand. It's not
that impressive. So we just know the math here and
once again, these housewives don't always believe or maybe never.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
Believe what they say.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Okay, we're going to take a quick break and we'll
be right back. Welcome back to the nort even Niceavy
Hairs on Tutor. Hey, Donnie, let's get to yesterday. We
talked you about a potential celebrity boxing match between Kevin
Fetterline and Sam Asgari. Now, I know you're shaking your head,
but to earn one hundred thousand dollars for one day
of work, have a fight for a couple of minutes.
(16:24):
These two both like the spotlight. Sam has done reality
shows and so has Kevin. Kevin was on like celebrity
fit clubs. So he's done this and so I know
it sounds silly and shocking, but one hundred grand to
do this. They both like the spotlight. I think it's
going to happen. But our question was would you watch
let's have a look. Of sixty percent said yes, forty
percent said no, I might watch this.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
I might watch it. Donnie, you're shaking your head.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Problem is Sam is so cute you're gonna mess up.
That's case because Kevin, he has nothing to lose.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
He's going to go and hit Sab in the face.
You got hit Sap. Don't hit sabs face, Kevin, don't
it with terrible? Hey, don't forget to vote to day's
PA page at Naughty Nies romp facebook page is gotiven.
Be sure to check that to na hear your results.
And now, oh it's time for our nicest of the day.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
The nices they generate and Courtney Cocks. They are the
last two friends steal standing. Oh these two.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Now.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
The thing is is Hollywood friendships are a lot of
time manufactured with fake These two are real and they
appear to be the only I mean I.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
Know that, Ceb. I love Pedro I know she.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Kind of trickles in and out of the friendship with
these ladies. The ladies are close of friends, but Courtney
and Jennifer are the real deal, and.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
They really are. Yeah, you know, but I think that
happens in all jobs. You're not friends that everybody worked with.
Just because they all played friends on television. It doesn't
mean that's the truth and real life. But it's nice
that two of them really really are real friends. Okay,
I know it's today. Oh did he did? He is
now saying that he wants to do the super Bowl
halftime show. So a few weeks ago, his lawyer confirmed
to Hour Reporting that he was planning to play Madison
(18:13):
Square Garden when he gets out of jail. Let's remember
he's still in jail. Well, that isn't big enough for
did he now he wants to do the super Bowl?
There is no chance that this will happen. I hear
Taylor Swift might do it next, but no chance. Did
he did? He did he? Let's end with a moment
of listen what other people think about you? That's not
(18:36):
your problem. Their opinions or a reflection of their own fears,
their own insecurities and their own biases. What actually matters
is what you think about yourself, because he's the deal.
You can't control how other people see you, but you
can control how you see yourself. So stop chasing approval
and start building belief in yourself. I had to learn
(18:59):
this lesson when I was much younger, Donnie. I really
wanted everyone to like me. I really cared about their opinions,
and then I realized their opinions about me have nothing
to do with me. Start to listen to love to
take care of yourself. Hey, that is it for today.
Thank you so much for listening. So they're not a
bit nice with Rob and Donicho. We're a production of
(19:21):
Elvis Durant and iHeartRadio. Don't forget to subscribe on the
iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast. Wherever you listen, leave us a
review if you can. They really do help and remember altogether.
Now let me hear you singing away. If you're going
to be naughty, you've got to albay. Let me hear nice.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
Not take care everybody, it's starting, but nice with Bro
