Speaker 1 (00:09):
Vi Shoe. It's time Hell Lo Lo Lo Lo Lo. Hello, Hello,
which your friend Rob Shooter. It's Monday morning. Garrett's off today,
so let's jump into the show, my friends. What time
is it? It is tea time, big story at the
top of the show. So Katy Perry and just In Trudeau.

(00:29):
I think I'm saying that right. He's the former Prime
Minister of Canada. Well, they got together before she broke
up with Orlando Bloom. So they were spotted together over
the weekend off the coast of California on her yacht,
looking really really happy, kissing, hugging really romantic photographs. They

(00:51):
know that photographers are all over, so they were clearly
not trying to hide I like this too. Why would
they hide it? They've got nothing to hide here, although
maybe they do. Insiders tell me Justin was the real
reason that the couple broke up. So there's a very
murky timeline here. They're often is, isn't there Brad and Angelina,

(01:11):
also Ariana Grande and Ethan. When did they kind of
get together? When did they not get together? When did
they break up? It's all a little bit close, and
sources are telling me that they privately connected late Spring,
about a month before she announced her split two Orlando
in July. So they hit it off instantly, and sources

(01:34):
say Katie was fascinated by Justin, his intelligent, his confident,
his charming Yes, and he is handsome too, and they
started messaging each other pretty pretty fast. Insiders go on
to say their conversations turned a little bit flirty, very
very quickly. And while the two did not go public
until until July in Montreal, when we spotted them at

(01:57):
dinner together, it did start before then. So the timeline
friends do not know exactly when it started. It's hard
to say, isn't it. If you think about your life,
is the first meeting the day that you get together?
Probably not. I think about people asking me all the time,
when did I meet Bruce? When did I get together
with Bruce? When I met Bruce working in the theater

(02:19):
in Edinburgh, his show Copacabana was playing Edinburgh and I
was at university there selling ice creams part time to
pay by way, as Bruce said, it's the most expensive
ice s cream he's ever bought. And that's how we met.
But that was the day we met. Nothing happened for
several weeks. And so Katie met Justin, that doesn't mean

(02:39):
she's having an affair. It means she met somebody and
she had those feelings, and Justin had those feelings too.
But she was a married woman. Now, let's be clear
here her inside. As people close to Katie said, her
marriage was already in trouble. You don't just meet somebody
and your marriage blows up. Often your marriage is always
a little bit rocky. If you think about it, you

(03:02):
have trouble. And maybe that's why you're looking elsewhere. Maybe
that's why when something like this comes along, you don't
just brush it off, because you're looking for a little
bit of love, looking for a little bit of attention.
And so Katie and Orlando were not in a good place,
although they were officially not over yet, So I don't
want to overplay this. Katie did not have a steamy

(03:22):
love affair with Justin behind her husband's back, but he
certainly was part of this breakup. Sources are telling me
meeting Justin, hanging with Justin, and although nothing physical happened,
there was a lot a lot of mental, lots of
mental goings on, lots of mental entanglements. Let's use that

(03:44):
word from Jada Pinkett Smith. And so there was a
lot of entanglements here, but there was not a physical
one until after they broke up. But they were texting,
they were flirting. Being with Justin, Being around Justin reminded
her what romance was, what love felt like, what being
wanted felt like, and she didn't feel like this in
her marriage with Orlando. Towards the end, they'd broken up

(04:07):
several years before, they'd got back together, they had a child,
everything looked good. It wasn't. They'd really really lost that connection,
that spark, and then along comes Justin, and Katie fell fast.
So she broke up quickly, or announced their split with Orlando,
and then just a few weeks later she was spotted

(04:28):
with Justin. Well in two three weeks. You don't just
suddenly fall in love. This had been going on for months.
So now insiders are telling me that Orlando, he's no fool.
He sensed something was up. He knew she was texting
with Justin. If you heard text with the prime minister,
with the president, with the leader of a big country
or a small country, you brag about it, you know

(04:51):
about it. She told Orlando. He knew that Katie was
texting with him and this was all so exciting, but
he thought, wow, this doesn't quite feel right, and he
knew there was another man in her world before, before
he left that world, before that world imploded for the
two of them. And so, although Katie and Justin are
refusing to comment their recent PDA filled yard getaway just

(05:16):
off the coast of Santa Barbara, it tells its own story.
They're not hiding anymore, a Hollywood insider, and what began
a secret text has turned into a full blown relationship.
These are serious. They are together, they are not hiding.
They are having so much fun together. But it's more
than just fun. He really likes her and she really

(05:39):
likes him. Is she moving too fast? Maybe, But you
never can tell. With love. You cannot tell if this
is the one, if it's not the one, if this
is fun, you just gotta go with it. And that's
what Katie is doing here. She really really likes him,
He really really likes her. She is now a single woman.
She's in the process of getting a divores and so

(06:00):
she has little Daisy who she co parents with Orlando.
And Orlando is good bad all this, he knows the truth.
Maybe he knows more than what we will ever know.
In fact, I think the only two that really know
the exact dates and when this happened. When was the
first kiss? Was it before you pulled the plug of
you on your marriage with Orlando? So probably not going

(06:21):
to actually get that date. Katie knows, Justin knows, maybe
Orlando knows. But the big picture here is they're all
okay with this. Orlander's okay. He wants Katie to be happy.
He knows that relationship, their relationship was no longer working.
The spark had gone. He felt it too. Maybe he
would have given it another chance. Maybe they would have
gone to see a therapist or try to schedule more

(06:42):
activities together to keep this marriage going. But that just
isn't what happened. They both agreed the marriage was dead,
and so now they are friends. Katie has moved on
really fast, but not quite as fast as you think,
because insiders tell me she was already seeing just There
was already text, There was already conversations with Justin months

(07:05):
months before she officially ended with Orlando, which brings us
to our pole question of the day. Katie Perry and
Justin dot together before she broke up with Orlando. Good
luck or bad luck? I would rather this not be
some messy I would rather in my own personal life
to have a clean break and then move on. But

(07:27):
you just don't know when love's gonna come knocking. You
don't know who's gonna knock on your heart? And do
you open it up? If you don't feel good, if
you're not in a great relationship, not in a good place,
then do you keep trying? Personally? I think I would?
But what do you think here? Good luck or bad luck?

A facebook page is not a gossip, and be sure
to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Over the weekend,
we learned about the tragic passing of Dianne Keaton. While
before she left us, she made sure that her beloved
Doc was cared for, so she has this beautiful golden
retriever Reggie. She loved, loved, loved Reggie. In fact, the

(08:15):
last picture of her the last Instagram post is Diane
Ann Reggie, and insider tells me she adored that dark
and he was her constant companion. She made sure that
he'd be safe no matter what happened. To her. So
she's leaving behind twenty thirty million dollar estate. Her home
is up for sale. It was up for sale before
she passed. She passed in California at age seventy nine.

(08:38):
She has two children. There is enough money here for
everybody and Reggie. But I think, here, this is something
that a lot of people think about. Who's gonna look
after my pets? And do you leave them in the will?
I'm told Reggie is in the will, but you know
she's not gonna give a check to the dog. Basically,
whoever cares for the dog, we'll get this check to
make sure the doc has an amazing life. People that

(08:59):
have pets, I have a doggie, we think about this stuff.
I think, goodness, gracious, if anything happened to Bruce or I,
who's going to look after Darby? And I want to
make sure there's some money there too, So it's not
a financial bird. And animals can be expensive. Pets can
be expensive, their food, their care, their medical bills, and
so Diana has been really really smart about this. She
loved this dog. We know that during the final months,

(09:22):
Petty Klein was really rapid. Friends said she lost so
much weight they hadn't seen her in a while. She
sort of disappeared for the last six months. She went
to Tom Brown's fashion show in LA There's some beautiful
pictures of her at that, and then she wasn't really
spotted at again. But this is not unusual. Diane Keaton
was an incredibly private individual. I had interviewed her several

(09:44):
times and she was so great, quirky, offbeat, unpredictable, but
somebody too that didn't need to be a celebrity. She
was not a real housewife. She didn't constantly have to
be on social media. She didn't constantly have to be
at the cool club or the cool restaurant or the
new event. She didn't really like walking red carpets that much,

(10:04):
and so she was kind of kind of a very
private person. So the fact that we did not know
about this this came as a total shock. Even her
close friends, people that she loved, did not know how sick,
how sick she was. I'm told that the funeral will
be happening this week, but once again it will be
a private affair. Lots of big Hollywood celebrities are gonna

(10:25):
want to go, but I'm not sure that Diane would
want them there. I think this is gonna be her
two children who she adopted very very later on in
her life. She was in the fifties when she had
these two children. Just a beautiful, beautiful soul, rest in peace.
And it just tells you who she is that even
when she was dying, she was thinking about Reggie. She

(10:46):
was thinking about that beautiful golden retriever who gave her
so much love. Okay, moving along a funny story here.
Don Lemon just can't stop embarrassing himself thinking all attention
is good attention. So it's that phrase we hear all
the time, is all press good press? Well, Don says, yes,
this is coming up after a string of viral videos

(11:09):
where the former CNN host argues with strangers on the street. However,
he often stumbles over basic facts. So recently he posted
a video and he got schooled about the law some
basic immigration lord that he got wrong, and a person
on the street corrected him. Well, most people would just
not post that video. If I recorded myself making a

(11:30):
fool of myself, I wouldn't post it. Although I post
this every day and I sometimes make a fool of
myself on this show. And so Don doesn't care. I
spoke to friends and they said he's shameless, and he
knows these videos make him look clueless, but he doesn't
care because he thinks all press is good press. In fact,
he trends more when he gets stuff wrong when he
gets stuff right. We're in that period. We're in that

(11:54):
time here in America where facts don't seem to matter
as much as entertain and Don is wildly, wildly, wildly entertaining.
But I think you've got to get stuff right too,
particularly if you're position yourself as a newsperson. He was
at CNN and now he's become Wendy Williams. Like the
truth here. Let me be honest. I've known done a

(12:14):
long time. If you're listening gell loolo, I like Don.
I do a great deal. Don wanted to be Wendy Williams.
Don would rather have had a talk show than a
show on news on CNN. Politics was not necessarily his thing.
What he was passionate about was gossip. Wherever we got together,
would always gossip about what was going on in the news.
He loves celebrities, and so I think now Don is

(12:36):
actually just being himself. So while some people think it's
really awful, and he's degrading himself. He's humiliating himself. I
actually think he's revealing himself. This is who Donn is.
He's much more comfortable talking about the Real Housewives than
he hears the Congress or the White House. And so
I think he had done the wildly entertaining. They're like
Billy on the streets. To remember those videos of Billy

(12:58):
on the street. It's now Don on thee. He's getting
a lot of clicks, a lot of views, and hopefully
making a lot of money. Don You just keep being you? Okay,
this is a sad story, but not surprising. Keith Urban
and Nicole Kidman have not spoken since they filed for divorce.
So the Golden couple. Let's go on and now. Sources

(13:20):
tell me Nicole and Keith haven't exchanged a single word
since filing for divorce. Now every single message is filtered
through attorneys. One source tells me it's icy. They're not
even texting everything. Custody, property, money all runs through the lawyers.

(13:40):
All of this has already been decided when they filed.
It was shocking how much was already done. The custody
arrangement has been agreed to, property, money, everything's been agreed to.
They were together for almost twenty years, so that's a
life that's interwined. That is interwoven, these two lives. Even
though they did keep a lot of their finances separate,
they were together for twenty years. There was a lot

(14:01):
to work out. They've done it already, and so I'm
told here it is over. It is done, it is dusted.
They were always touchy feely in public, but now that
is gone. They don't want to speak again. It is over.
Some people are like that. I would like to thank
God forbid Bruce and I ever broke up. God forbid.
But I'd like to think we could still be friends

(14:21):
after what twenty thirty years together. I don't want to
just hate somebody, But if somebody really hurts you, if
somebody really disappoints you, then I guess that makes sense. Okay, quickly,
before we get a break. Prince Harry is deeply uncomfortable
with Megan sharing photographs of Lilibert. So Harry has been
talking a lot about privacy. He's even gone to court

(14:42):
against the UK tabloids the UK press demanding his privacy
and what happened Over the weekend, well, Megan posted pictures
of a little Lilibert on Instagram. It was a tribute
to International Day of the Girl, and she won over
so many hearts. The videos are lovely, but it does
sort of sort of clash with the couples please demands

(15:04):
of privacy. A source tells me Harry is deeply uncomfortable.
He spent years fighting the tabloids and the paparazzi to
protect his kids, never forget what happened to his mommy,
and now Megan is the one pushing them back into
the spotlight. It's a beautiful picture of a barefoot lily
but twirling in the field. It's meant to be empowering,
but for Harry the exposure was anything but. Hey, you

(15:28):
too need to have a big conversation about this. It's
a big topic, isn't it. After what happened to Harry's
mom Princess Diana and the paparazzi and photographers. I get it,
I do get it. They have begged for privacy, they
really really have. You can't have it both ways. Okay,
we're gonna take a quick break and we will be
right back. Welcome back to the naughty but Nasham your

(15:52):
host from Shoot Hey, Let's get to the poles. A
last show, we talked about Jennifer Aniston finally second setting
the record after two decades of speculation about why she
never had children. Sir Jen said she was sick of
the rumors that she was a queer woman and she
didn't want children. To put a crew first, she said no,
she has been struggling for twenty years to have children.

(16:12):
Our question was quite simple, should she have spoken up earlier?
Let's have a look. Seventy percent said yes. If you
don't like a rumor about yourself, correct it. Often if
you stay silent, that rumor lives. It lingers. Now. I'm
not saying everybody will believe you when you when you
speak up when you wish he was a statement, but
at least it's out there, it's on the record. I

(16:33):
agree with you, naughtiase, Hey, don't forget to vote on
today's Paul go to our Twitter page a naughty nice
ram at Facebook page is naughty gossip and be sure
to check back to Marau to hear your results. And
now it's time for and Nicest of the Day and

(16:54):
Nicest of the Days Gigi Hadid, who's calling Bradley Cooper
my love in a sweet tribute, saying he gives me belief.
So Gigi has been very private about her relationship with
Bradley Cooper. However, she just posted a snapshot from private
screening of his new film and it said, quote, premiere night,

(17:16):
congratulations to my love. Oh that's so sweet. So she's
never been one to overshare, so this is a really
big deal, a source tells me. They went on to
say quote, She's so proud of him, and she's ready
for the world to know it. In a Vogue interview
earlier this year, she's getting more comfortable talking about him.
She praised him, saying he always gives her quote encouragement

(17:39):
and belief. These two are the real deal. They don't
need to slap it all over social media. They don't
need to be Kardashians or Real Housewives about it. They
are the real deal and getting more and more comfortable
sharing just a little bit, just a little bit with us,
all okay, and now I'm naughty us of the day, naughty,
naughty inside, as her saying Blake Lively is delusional for

(18:01):
thinking that she would win an oscar for her performance
in It ends with Us, and now confidential negotiations show
they have been released, showing that she negotiated a two
hundred thousand dollars bonus clause in her contract if she
won the Best Actress Inside to say that she really
thought this was her Meryl Streep moment. She was paid
one point seven million for the movie plus a slice

(18:24):
of the profits, and then she got a bonus if
she won the Oscar Well inside as a saying that
didn't happen. It probably was never going to happen. It's
a great movie, it's a great performance, but this is
not an Academy Award winning type movie. And so this
is just just Blake being a little bit grandiose, a

(18:44):
little bit inside of say delusional. I sort of admire
this here. I think if you go into a project,
you might as well shoot for the stars. Although being
realistic is probably a good thing to know what it
is of the day. Let's end with a moment of
rom You get a robbe get a rubb, you get
a rub They did not leave you the universe move
them out of your way. Rejection isn't always loss. Sometimes

(19:09):
it's protection. You can't see it when your heart is breaking,
but the people who walk away are often making space
for what's meant to be. The job that fell through,
the friend who drif did, the relationship that ended. None
of it is random. I choose to believe that the
universe heard conversations that you didn't, and it saw things

(19:32):
that you didn't, and it cleared a path that at
the moment you were not brave enough to walk yourself.
So instead of asking why did they leave? Have you
asked that? I've done that so many times? Why did
they leave? Instead of asking that, ask the following, what
is this making room for? Once again? They didn't leave

(19:52):
you the universe move them out of your way. Hey,
that is it for today. Thanks so much for listening
to The Naughty but Nice with Rob and the Naughty Show.
You're the co host today. We're a production of iHeartRadio

For his funeral, It's going to be on the thirty
first of October, which is Halloween now. When this was
pointed out to my mother and we asked her, are
you sure, she lit up like a Christmas tree and
she's very excited about it. And we are going to

(20:35):
