Speaker 1 (00:10):
Sure, it's time hell love Love, love a love a
loud Welcome to the naughty but Nicias Shooter and it's Thursday,
which means our dear friend Mark Lupa joins us, Hey, Loopy.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Are you there?
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Boopy? Lewis here? He Rah?
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Welcome back, darling. How is your vacation? We missed you.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
It was fantastic. I missed you guys too, but it
was nice to take a break and relax.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
Lovely, where in the world were you? I sometimes lose,
lose where you're going, where you've been?
Speaker 3 (00:36):
I was in the very hot, humid Naples, Florida for
a week.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Love love lady, you have an all over tan I do?
Speaker 4 (00:46):
I do? You might as well say it you well.
Welcome back, darlings. We've got a ton of gossip to
get to you. Let's jump in.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
What time is it, my friends? It is tea time.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
This story is getting so messy. So Kelly clarkson smeltdown
was triggered by her exist romance with her former assistant.
So Kelly's heartbreak wasn't just about her divorce, wasn't about
her failed marriage inside as a saying, it was fueled
by a betrayal Mark that really cut her to the core.
(01:17):
The late Brandon Blackstock, who died August seventh, tragically, he
was just forty eight years old. He died after a
three year battle with cancer. We now found out that
he was in a relationship with Kelly Clarkson's former production assistant,
Brittany Marie Jones. This was a detail that was confirmed
(01:37):
in his newly released obituary. Now the timeline here is
a little bit fuzzy, Mark, We know that in twenty
sixteen twenty seventeen, Jones worked as Kelly Clarkson's production assistant
in Nashville, traveling with her managing her personal and professional needs.
She also helped some with the press that Kelly was
(01:59):
doing in coordinating interviews. So a lot of reporters, a
lot of people in the business remember her because she
would set up the phone interviews or whatever Kelly was doing.
A personal assistant spends a lot of time with the
celebrity they are with. Then, in about twenty eighteen, a
few years later, she transitioned. Jones transitioned into the role
of executive management assistant for Brandon for his Talent company.
(02:24):
So she was no longer a personal assistant. Now she
was an assistant for the management company that Kelly's husband,
Brandon ran. Then in about twenty twenty, the same month
that Kelly and Brandon got divorced, she took on another
role working for him in his Montana.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
This is fuzzy.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
This is a very messy situation. We had heard rumors
of this, but we couldn't report it until it was
confirmed by that obituary. Just to add salt to the
wounds here, I guess who was omitted from the obituary
not mentioned at all.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Kelly Clarkson.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
And so this is a messy, messy situation, But we
have to handle it quite carefully, Mark, because somebody has
died here. If Kelly Clarkson's husband was having an affair
with her assistant, this would be massive, massive news. It's
still very big news. But the fact that he's passed
away here, I think rightfully so has meant everybody is
(03:28):
treading a little bit more carefully, including us, on this subject.
And so it's still a big story, Mark, And that
there's more to this story to come out, isn't there.
We know that Kelly has been upset, has had a
bit of a meltdown for a while after her ex
husband's passing. Everybody assumed, oh, now we know why it
(03:49):
was because her ex husband was very sick.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
But that's not the whole story. There's more now to
this story. Well and messy.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
This is really messy. And you know, I have to
point out the real losers here are their kids. They
have young kids, and one day they're going to read
these stories and they're already dealing with the grief of
their dad's passing. And so I find it to be
very sad. But beyond that, well, I think it's so
surprising as this story didn't break years ago, Like Kelly
must have very loyal people working for her, because this
(04:18):
story could have easily spilled out in twenty twenty. And yeah,
it's pretty It's the lowest of the lower What a
betrayal to having your assistant, someone who knows your weaknesses,
your strengths, your vulnerabilities, and you go and have a
fun affair with your husband.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Gross. It's gross.
Speaker 4 (04:36):
You were invited into my home, into my family. There's
something very intimates about being an assistant. Now people are
pushing back. I hit the phones and some people are
saying the affair, the romance did not start until after
the divorce. However, she clearly met Brandon while she was
Kelly's assistant. She clearly met the family while she was
an assistant, and so maybe that's when they first met,
(04:59):
but nothing happened until after Kelly got divorced. That's what
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are saying. And we know
that isn't quite actually the timeline. There is a little
bit fuzzy too, these fuzzy timelines, these messiness. I think
it would be better to just all tell the truth.
I called a couple of people that know Kelly very well,
(05:21):
and they said, even Kelly doesn't really know the truth here.
Kelly knows that the divorce was ugly. It really was
an ugly divorce. She knows shortly after the divorce these.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Two started to live together.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
However, she certainly has suspicions was this going on before
we actually signed those divorce papers. She's looking back really
really curious. It was enough to really upset her. The
divorce was bad enough, but knowing that your assistant was
now with your ex husband, or at least believing that
(05:53):
hearing the rumors, this was kept such a secret, I
think partly because it happened in Montana, and a lot
of reporters aren't there. If this had happened in New York,
if Kelly was having an affair, we would have known
about it. We're not following him around. There's no paparazzi
really taking keys picture. Although Kelly must have known something,
and I'm sure she told her girlfriends, and I love Kelly.
(06:15):
If you're listening, Galla Balla Belo, you can trust your girlfriends.
I've actually heard a little bit of this rumor, Mark
and so a few days before Brandon passed, I made
a video I think on TikTok.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Really saying that Kelly has meltdown.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Kelly had so much more going on than just the
health of her ex husband, which was very very serious.
But it was her ex husband. They had had a
very ugly divorce. They didn't really stay in touch anymore.
It's very sad when somebody that you've once loved passes.
I don't doubt that for a minute, but there was
something else going on. Well, when he passed, I deleted
(06:53):
the video. I felt so terrible. Now I know I
was onto something, and now I know this story is
much bigger than just which is a big story, a
tragic story than her ex husband passing so young. It
is a big story which brings us to our whole
question of the day. Kelly Clarkson's meltdown was triggered by
(07:17):
her ex husband's relationship with her former assistant. To get
that former assistant ex husband got together, That's what triggered
Kelly is beginning of her meltdown.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
I'm sure it was pushed over the edge when he died.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
But are you shocked by this latest twist?
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Did you know? Did you suspect? I suspected?
Speaker 4 (07:39):
I don't know if Mark did, But did you suspect
there was more to this story? Hey? Go vote on
our Twitter page. I had Norday nice rob our facebook pages,
nor did gossip and be sure to check back tomorrow
to hear your results. I think we handled that in
a respectable way. Mark, We're treading carefully. We're trying to
be very respectful here. I think we pulled it off.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
What do you think?
Speaker 3 (08:01):
I think so too, And I think we have to
just wait until until we hear more on a story
to comment.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
Yes, yeah, there's more that's going to come out. What
are you working on?
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Let's talk about Leonardo DiCaprio. So Leo was thrilled when
Spanish police felt to immediately recognize him while he willed
to enter an exclusive party in the Bisa. Okay, So
the fifty year old after was filmed outside a tequila
themed event hosted at a private villa by patron and
Spanish actor aarn Piper, And he was wearing all black
(08:33):
and a baseball cap as he does in a chain
and Leo stood patiently as officers patted him down and
checked ideas. Now, according to a source, every single person
was padded down. They just didn't realize it was Leo
right away. He loved it and he was thrilled that
no one noticed. What do you think?
Speaker 2 (08:50):
I totally believe this.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
If you ever you've seen Leo out at a club,
we have Mark I'm seking at Marquee in Town, all
those hot places in New York count He always as
a baseball cap. He doesn't want to be recooned. He's
not a showpony. When Lindsay Lohan turns up, it's like
a firework or Katy Perry. They want the whole room
to part and everybody to scream. There there Leo slips
in an at In fact, some of the really really
exclusive clubs in New York have a rule that if
(09:13):
you report that you saw Leo there, you'll never get
back in, So Leo gets a pass in New York.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
He does not want attention. So I'm told he was
thrilled that his disguise is working.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
He wears that baseball cap. He keeps his head down
for a reason, and it's not to be recognized. Now
you're going to read some reports today that he was
really angry that nobody recognized him, and he was hurt.
His ego was hurt. Anybody that's reporting that does not
know Leo. He doesn't want to be in the papers
unless he is selling a movie. He doesn't want his
(09:44):
personal life out there. He doesn't want to be photographed
walking down the street. He is really shockingly private. And
so I think what happened in Spain here confirmed that
disguise is really good, really working. If you keep your
head low, wear some baggy clothes, you can get away with.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Even being Leo.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
So just the little insight here that you're probably not
gonna hear it on other shows, other shows are going
to do. He was furious and it was insulting.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
No no, no, Leo loves being private. It worked okay.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Moving along, the Swifties looked like they drove up the
price of Justin Baldoni's PR bill. So, according to emails,
the firm repping the PR company repping Justin Balndoni demanded
an extra thirty thousand dollars a month last August. The
celebrities pay between like five and ten a month normally. However,
(10:40):
the PR company reppin him said that they needed crisis
money to help him with the Taylor Swift fan base.
So the major concern in the memo. In the memo
was that Swift's really loyal fan base would come after
him when it was clear that he wasn't getting along
with Blake lively thirty thousand dollars extra. Now, Swift's unexpected
(11:07):
cameo in this drama came after a text from Blake
to Justin surfaced in court filings. If you remember, Blake
referred to Swift and Ryan Reynolds, her husband, as her dragons,
a Game of Thrones reference there. So maybe the PR
company was right, maybe that this was something that could explode.
(11:27):
It didn't quite work out the way Blake wanted. In fact,
Taylor Swift and Blake. I have now got a problem.
But it's just shocking to be the amount of money
people are willing to play pay. I did crisis pr
in my PR days and I think we charged between
ten and fifteen thousand extra a month, which I thought
was huge. But thirty thousand dollars a month which they
(11:47):
paid just in paid.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
What do you think about these prices? This insight into
PR celebrities. It's wild, Mark, It's wild.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
And I just cannot believe the story is continuing in
a way that it is an will be I guess
from months and maybe years to come. It's just unfortunate
because this feels like it could potentially ruin his career.
And who has thirty thousand dollars extra a month to
pay for?
Speaker 2 (12:10):
He doesn't? She does?
Speaker 4 (12:11):
If you should Blake and Ryan pay thirty thousand extra,
I'm like, oh, he got, but he doesn't. He's not
rich like Blake. Well, Blake's does very well, but Ryan
Reynolds is super super rich. I think a billionaire here.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
It's amazing. No one's a winner here.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
This story, it's really destroyed Blake's reputation, it's destroyed his
I don't think anybody's going to rush to hire either
one of these two. And it's not going away. Your
depositions are happening. This is moving forward. This trial is
going to be massive. We're all going to be reporting
on it day after day breathlessly. Oh what a mess. Okay,
this story is a little bit messy too. Meghan Marko
(12:47):
has a very unlikely new best friend and people are
not that happy about it. Who has Meghan got very
close with?
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Yes, the Duchess of Sucks is so, The Duchess of
Sussex has gotten surprising the clothes to the outspoken model
and cook, the Queen Chrissy Tigan.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Oh God.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Despite Chrissie's very public history of online bullying scandals, we
have not forgotten Chrissy. So sources say they have bonded
over motherhood, fame and being constantly judged, and they get
each other in ways that few people can. Christie loves
that Megan doesn't sugarcoat feelings about the media, and Megan
loves Chrissie's unfiltered humor and rob Christie's mean Girl is
(13:32):
an ancient history, as we know. In twenty twenty one,
she faced backlash after she harassed Courtney Stodden with cruel messages,
including one that said take a dirt.
Speaker 2 (13:41):
Nap, I remember that orlways die. I didn't know what
that was. I had to look that up, right.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
That's a really aggressive two people who have been accused
of bully and getting together is just dumb.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Just why would you do it, Chrissy? Why would you
do it?
Speaker 4 (13:53):
Megan who was sitting down and said, you know, let's
book Chrissy Teagan, Meghan's cooking shit.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
I'd be liked on a minute. Everybody.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
That's not a good idea, That is not a good look. Oh,
there's nobody advising Megan Markle. There's just nobody out there.
I fear that she got Chrissy on the show because
that's all she could get. Like if she could get
Marcus Stewart, or if she could get Gwyneth Paltrow, she
could get Julia Roberts.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
She would rather have them. But I think now her
career is at the.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
Point and the show's not doing terribly well that I
think Chrissy is probably the most one of the most
famous people she could get. It's going to be Housewive,
it's going to be reality stars now, Chrissy I don't
want Chrissy to be punished for her whole life because
of one really ugly incident that she did apologize for,
although the victim said Chrissy never actually reached out to her,
(14:47):
so that seems a little odd.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Here, you know.
Speaker 4 (14:49):
It's part of Chris's story though now. And I think
Megan and Chrissy, if they're going to do a show together,
they should do a show. At least part of the
show should talk about bullying. We've both been accused of bullying.
I think Christy has to say I was a bully.
There are receipts, and I think it'd be really refreshing
if Meghan said I regret some of the things I've done.
(15:11):
None of us are angels. We've all been a bully
for a minute or so in our lives. We've always
snapped at somebody.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
We all have.
Speaker 4 (15:17):
We've snapped at a waiter or somebody that wasn't in
the same position of power as us, and that doesn't
make you feel good. And that's about growth, and there's
a conversation to have there. I don't know if you
can slip that.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
In between making raspberry jam.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
Though.
Speaker 4 (15:31):
It's a complex thing to balance maybe it would just
be better for you to not to do.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
A cookie show together, right.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
I mean, I think the obvious thing for me why
they connect is because at one point they were both
the Hollywood Girl, they were both America's sweetheart, and now
they're both kind of on the opposite side of that.
And that has to be hard too, to go from
one position of power and of interest and now suddenly
people are just very turned off by you.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
Isn't that an interesting conversation though? That is so much
more interesting than a strawberry cheese cake. Yes, Like, that's
that's where Megan, that's where you could really make make
a difference. Okay, we're going to take a quick break
and we'll be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty
but Naeham your house Rod Shooter with her dear friend
Mark Lupo Haley P Let's get to the polls. Taylor
(16:21):
Smith personally chose Travis Kelsey's podcast to reveal her new album.
She's never done a podcast before. If you called up
Taylor's publicist, he's one of the best and said would
Taylor liked to be on my podcast, they'd be like, well,
she doesn't really do podcasts like she does massive. I
think she's even too big down to do the morning shows,
like she really doesn't do that much press at all,
but she did the podcast. I think it was a
(16:43):
pretty good idea. What do you think that was our
pole question? A good idea or a bad idea? Oh
eighty percent said a good idea. I think you're right.
It was adorable to see them together, and I think
Taylor is so so good at this. Their first tease
was about the album, so the first blast of news
we got for a few days was about this fabulous
(17:03):
new album. Then we got to see the artwork, and
now today I'm listening to the podcast. I tried to
listen to all of it before ashow we take very early.
I got about three quarters through. It's adorable. They're laughing
about football, they're laughing about how they mess. She knew
nothing about football. She talks a little bit about her
dad who had a heart attack, and so it's a
beautiful episode. It's going to make you like Taylor and
(17:25):
Travis even more. And I will argue Mark Joe Rogan,
you ain't gonna be number one this week. I think
might be the biggest pastcast podcast in the history our podcast.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
I think it was a good idea.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Hey, don't forget to vote on today's Paul will go
to our Twitter page ad Naughty Nis Room. Our Facebook
page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back
Tomarra to hear your results and them.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
It's time for the nicest of the day.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Oh a nice to the day. It's Taylor Swift and
it's because she hilariously trolled her NFL hitters on the
podcast we were just talking about. So when Travis gave
her this glowing play by play style intro listing her
career achievements, Swift grinned and fired off a perfectly timed zinger, saying,
I think we all know that if there's one thing
(18:14):
male sports fans want to see in their spaces and
on their screens is more of me.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
But she acknowledged that she's on a podcast that a
lot of football fans listen to, and the weld big
football fans want more of is Taylor's If she's referencing
when they boot her when they can play that she
took up too much time on the screen. I love
when you lean into yourself and this is what Meccan
Michael can't do. She can't make fun of herself.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
I've never seen that mecan.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Really laugh at herself or really laughing unauthentic way. That's
part of my success mark. It's very difficult for people
to make fun of me because I make fun of
myself first, like I'm in on the joke. I know
Harry Dick as I am, and Taylor Swift certainly knows
how to do this too. Have a good giggle about
(19:05):
yourself and nicest of the day. Now I noticed the
day naughty, noughdy, naughty Ellen degenerous might have started a
new life in the UK, but she's still the same
old me and Ellen. So Ellen is upsetting her neighbors
in the Cutswell. She bought a twenty six million dollar home.
She's out there with the chickens and a sheep. But
people tell me, don't be fooled by this lamb in
wolf or this wolf in lambs cloning. That's the expression,
(19:27):
Oh Ellen, be nice, be nice. You have no reason
to be mean. You have a fabulous life. Let's end
with a moment a rob you rob, you gonna rob,
you g gotta rob. Don't over complicate life.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
You're not here forever.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
And when the day ends, it's gone for good. Your
time is far too precious to waste our nonsense. I've
cut a lot of nonsense.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Out of my life.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
My rule is, if it doesn't matter five years from now,
five months from now, five days from now, why do
I care? Why am I sitting here about it? Why
am I not going to get a good night's sleep tonight?
Why am I replaying it in my mind over and over?
Speaker 2 (20:05):
It doesn't matter. If you do something terrible, say sorry,
are you?
Speaker 4 (20:08):
But don't don't don't overcomplicate your life. Hey, that is
it for today. Thank you so much for listening. So
they're not a bit nice with Robert Marksha, a production
of iHeartRadio. Don't forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app,
Apple Podcasts, wherever you listen, leave us a review if
you can.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
They really do help and remember.
Speaker 4 (20:27):
All together now, if you're going to be nord, you've
got to villt me.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Are you nice? Safe?
Speaker 1 (20:37):
Everybody?
Speaker 2 (20:38):
It's not even nice with ro
