Speaker 1 (00:09):
Vice sugar. It's time.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Love and love and love. Hello, welcome to the Nord
even nice sham, your host, job shooter. It's Monday morning,
bright and early, and we are joined by a bright
and even early friend, Garrett Vogel. Hey, Garrett, are you there?
Speaker 1 (00:25):
No one is brighter than you.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
I'm pretty bright, right right? That's that sounds terrible, That
sounds so arrogant. Not bright as in smart. I'm not
the smartest person.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
No sunshine like sun right, like a champagne. I'd like
to say, fine wine.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
A bubbly, bubbly, bubbly. How are you, my friend? How's
your weekend? What have you seen in? Cute new haircut?
Speaker 3 (00:43):
Yeah, thank you very much. I appreciate it. It was
a it was a quiet weekend as we transition from
summer to fall. So it's it's kind of like the
you wake up wearing, uh, you know, a sweatshirt, and
then you're in shorts and shirt by lunchtime, and then
you're back to to your flannel pajamas by four o'clock.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Yeah, just in time to watch the Emmys last night.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
The EM's last night. Did you enjoy them? I did
enjoy them. The problem is if the Emys for me
is that I don't know any of the shows anymore
so ten years ago. Yeah, there's so many shows and
there's so much streaming. We shouldn't complain about this. It's
lovely to have all these options. But there's just not
that one massive hit show that we can all sort
of rally around as a nation. There's no more Friends
(01:22):
or Seinfelds or Will and Grace, so one of those
shows that everybody watched, like so I was watching these shows.
The good thing about it is there's several choices now
that I've got to start watching The Pit. Have you
seen the Pit?
Speaker 3 (01:33):
I think you'll love the Pit. It's very er esque
but more real life. And the basis of the Pit
if you didn't know it takes it's it's twenty four episodes,
all shot. Each episode is one hour, so real so
it starts with the Shift, So if you check in
out like midnight, it starts at midnight and goes right
straight through midnight the next day and everything that happens
(01:54):
within a day. But it's twenty four episodes.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Almost Oh, that's studious. So every day is one episode.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Every day's one epit not every day. Every hour is
one episode.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Oh, You've got me hooked. And then the other one
I want to see that I knew nothing about is the.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Studio Oh, Rob Shooter, let me tell you it is
such a fun show. You were talking about Seinfeld and
Curb and h. Seth Rogan wrote this show with pretty
much all his life's experiences out there. You know. There's
one episode where he start he's a movie executive and
he starts dating a doctor and the doctor starts it
(02:33):
helps cancer patients.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
So they go to a charity and at this charity,
all the.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Doctor's like, oh, we save lives, and he goes and
Seth Rogan, being in the entertainment business, he goes, we're
kind of the same, you know, we affect lives too.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
And they're like, no, you don't.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
We save lives, and he goes, well, we we do.
And so it's very like you understand being.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
In the entertainment business.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
I think you will.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Love it very much so and it's funny.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
Definitely want to see that. And then the big snub
of the night was Harrison Ford did not win. I
think people thought he was gonna win. Kathy Bait another
one that I thought we thought Kathy was going to
win and the show the White Lotus. Last year they
seemed to win everything and the shirt was snubbed.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
Well, and you know it's funny. First Harrison Ford. You
put Harrison Ford in the front row, and you know
what that ultimately means? You're winning something, you know what
I mean?
Speaker 2 (03:17):
He thought Cliste Lockhart with him. He never comes with
his wife. I'm sitting there in the front row.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Front row, and You're like, wow, he's gotta win. He's
got the front right, you know what I mean. But
but not the case, you know, I guess you just
put him in the front row for name recognition alone.
But yeah, it was weird to see that, and then
I get White Lotus. I under kind of understand why
it didn't win because it pretty much took the last
(03:43):
two years, you know what I mean. Like, so it's
everybody we've seen it, you know. So the creator, Mike White,
has to uh for season number four when they come back,
has to do something totally different outside of just a
bunch of strangers coming together and crazy crip happens.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
He grew a little old, didn't it. I think last
season wasn't the best one, right, There's been other one Okay,
let's jump into our show. Sure that term is it?
My friends, it is time. He's there. At the top
of the show, Kelly clarks and it turns out she
shared her home during the pandemic with her husband and
his new girlfriend. Now, at the time, we do not
know that her now ex husband and deceased husband, so
we're going to tread very carefully on this one. We
(04:19):
do not talk bad of the dead on the Naughty
but Nice Show. But it seems like during the pandemic,
Kelly and her husband they were at the Montana Ranch,
a controversial property that he got really he got in
the divorce. But at the time they were at her ranch,
their ranch, their kids were there, and her trusted assistant,
Britney Marie Jones was in the house. Well, now we've
(04:43):
found out the Brittany and Brendan, her husband, her ex husband,
ultimately got together. We can't know for a fact if
it all happened under Kelly's roof, but this is very,
very suspicious, this detail that he when he passed were
dating Kelly Clarkson's assistant, her ex assistant. This is now
(05:06):
really really adding fuel to the fire, and I think
people are really gonna want to know what's the timeline here?
Was he having an affair under Kelly's roof? Did they
not hook up until after the pandemic was over? This
whole timeline. Celebrities do this a lot, remember Brad Pitt
and Jennifer Anderson when he met Angelina Jolie. We never
(05:26):
really got a timeline. So it's a very very messy
doesn't look good, does not look good.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
It doesn't look good for his case and her case,
not Kelly Clarkson, her assistant. But yeah, you know, it
was weird because if you remember, I think Kelly was
doing her show at one point from her house in Montana,
you know, like we're all doing on zoom. You and
I are the only ones still on zoom, don't you know.
One day we'll figure it out. But it's interesting because
(05:54):
the whole family was there, and you know, a production
had to be there as well, and it's it's such
it stinks to hear, you know. I mean, at the
end of the day, you just want the best for everyone,
especially Kelly, and for her to go through that, and
she's such a nice person, you know, and you hate
to see her being taken advantage of.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Yeah, Yeah, that's what it is. You know what it is.
It's just creepy that your ex husks up with your assistant,
regardless if they've stayed under your roof or not. Add
on top of that, there's a possibility they were hooking
up under your roof during pandemic.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
But you obviously were paying for that house.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Right that you were paying for. People out there do
the craziest, most awful, awful things. Once again, we don't
have an exact timeline on this, but we do know
the assistant was at the house. I can see Kelly saying, Gosh,
during the pandemic, our little bubble, our little family bubble
is going to be the following people. We're gonna lock
ourselves up in Montana. Remember, at the time of the pandemic,
(06:51):
we were also scared. We didn't know what to do,
and so Kelly not only opened her home, she opened
her heart. Skip fast forward a few years and now
the lady in my house is seeing the guy that
was my husband all of this, it just gives me, Oh,
it makes me makes me like shudder, and it breaks
(07:13):
your heart and we probably will never ever find out
the truth. Here. Once again, Kelly's husband is tragically since passed,
and so now he's not gonna tell the story. We
haven't really spoken to Britney. She hasn't done any interviews
about this. And the good news here though, is Kelly's
show starts up this week or next. She's back at
thirty RAW.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
I think they recorded, so she's always a week behind.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
That's right. She pre records her show, so I think
they we're recording this week. It's gonna go live really
really soon. I have insiders on the set who say
it's the old Kelly. She wants to be there. She's
really excited about it. She needed a rest. Sometimes we
take our jobs for granted. I think that's what a
vacations for. Like I miss my job if I take
a few days off, and so I think having having
(07:57):
a month off or so for Kelly, she's really eager
to get back in that studio. She's so good at
this and she's getting the A list stars. I'm told
this season is off the hawk okay, which brings us
to a pole question of the day. It appears that
Kelly Clarkson shared her home during the pandemic with her
then husband and his now new girlfriend. Oh do you
(08:20):
think they hooked up under Kelly's roof. We don't know.
The answer here is going to be, would you? I
mean I would be suspicious. I if God forbid my
assistant moved in and then ended up in a relationship
with Bruce, I'd be like that was under my roof.
What do you think?
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (08:38):
Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rab
Our Facebook page is Naughty Gossip and sure to check
back tomorrow to hear your results. Okay, moving along, Lindsey
Lohan is not funding her dad's jail house lifestyle. Let
me explain. So, there's a commissionary account. Is that spelled
a common sary? That's what it's called a commonsary account
(08:58):
in prison. Michael Lohan's in jail, He's in Florida, he's
been there for a while now. And insiders is saying
that it is not Lindsey that he's putting money on
his account for snacks, toilet trees and the occasional treat
it's Kate, his ex wife, that is putting up the money.
Explain how this works, Garrett.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Yeah, So, if not to say that I've been to prison,
but I've known a few friends or close confidants that
have and there is there is this this kind of
like your your bank account in jail, you know, so
so things do cost money. It's not like going to
the supermarket and you know, wiping out a credit card.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Money's put there.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
It's not like you you hand over a credit card
or handover cash in jail, because that would just go
totally wrong. And if you wanted, you know, you wanted
a snack, or you wanted to get a razor to
shave your face, not specifically a razor, but soap or whatever,
you pay for it. You know, you can't you can't
keep you know, things in there. So you know, family
(10:01):
members normally put money into there, and you know, you
take what you need and when you need it.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
And it's that.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
But it's interesting that that the story came out that
Lindsay is not funding that that account. But the other
excuse is the fact that she's on the other side
of the world in Dubai.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
So it's like, oh, so sorry.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Dad, I'm just missing you, you know, because it's another
time time zone, so she could easily just say, oh,
I'm so sorry.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
We keep missing each other like this, So I mean,
mis leature.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
I think what's really interesting here. That detailing is so delicious.
But what's really interesting here is that Lindsay has moved
on and I think she's had to oh her family.
Her family have given her so much heartache, so much trouble,
so much embarrassment over the last what decade, I guess
even longer, since she was a child, This family has
been so so messy. Lindsay's really trying to get her
life back together. The reason she's in Dubai is to
(10:51):
get away from a Hollywood to get away from the craziness.
I think she's been successful in that. I know her
new comeback movie didn't do quite as well. Year business
with Jamie Lee Curtis did fine. Wasn't a monpposed to do,
did what it was supposed to do. I'm told Lindsay
is reading scripts and maybe we'll get an amazing offer.
(11:11):
She can act like we've got to save with Lindsay
Lohan during all the craziness, the talents still there. Lindsay
is a really talented person. And now that she's got
her lifestyle, her life under control, she has a baby,
she has a husband. I think that we're rooting for Lindsay,
and I think you never want to walk away from
your parents, do you. But at some point, if really,
really toxic people are in your life, you gotta say
(11:35):
take a back seat. And I think Lindsay, in really
the nicest possible way, has done that, and so we
are team Lindsay Lohan here. Okay, this story made me scream.
Denise Richards is pulling out all the stops for the
brother camera. So Denise is back on the Real Housewives
of Beverly Hills. Well, it just coincides with a really
(11:57):
ugly divorce. Insiders are telling me. She is letting the
cameras see everything. It's messy, it's real, and Bravo loves
this her life, her private life is imploding at the moment.
She's now friends with Charlie She and again too, so
that adds another layer of spice. Denise knows how to
do this. When you sign up for the Housewives, they
(12:17):
don't want to film your life. They want to film
a train wreck of your life, a creusion of your
life that is so over the top that it probably
wouldn't happen in a regular person's life in that condensed time.
They only tape for several weeks, a few months. They
don't tape for four years, and so my life over
the next six weeks, over the next four months.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Is probably not that intrigub compared.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
I turn up the heat, and that's what Denise is
doing Kevin.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
And you know what's interesting too, I watched the Charlie
Sheen documentary where she's in it for a very good
part of it, because she was one of his I
think three ex wives.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
She was an ex wife. I don't know where she
came on the train, but yes, she was the next wife.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Yeah, I think she was right in the middle. But
she was talking about going over to the house when
to make him some food because he hasn't eaten in
three days, and the hookers came out. She made the
sandwiches for the hookers. But this is how I know
she knows what she's doing. She started literally true crying,
like real trying, and the producer on the documentary says, hey,
(13:19):
you know, we could stop as she's crying and she's wipe,
and she goes.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
No, no, no, no, keep going, keep going. She this is
what it's all about. She's seen the reality. Charlie would
want it this way.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
This is how she's made for reality to She really
is I'm a little over all the Housewives. I think
the franchise now is not what it was. I don't
really even watch him that Monent have some sort of the.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Next thing whatever, not housewise.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Specifically the next thing. So even Denise coming back, that's
exciting for me. But I don't know even if Denise,
I don't even know if Denise can fix this franchise.
Talking about Bravo, though there might be a big change.
Bowing Yang and Matt Rogers. These are they new its
power couple of television. They have a really successful podcast
that Bravo just did a night after they televised The
(14:02):
Last Culturists. I think I'm saying that Last Culturista Awards
it was just a one off, but he did really,
really well. Insiders brav were telling me this wasn't just
a one off. This was basically a test and audition.
It was a screen test to see how they did,
and they did great. They're young, they're smart, they're the
hilarious talk about the next generation, and they don't come
(14:24):
with the decades of legal baggage that Andy Cohen comes with.
Andy has been accused of some really ugly things. There
are still some ongoing lawsuits about Andy. I would guess
that any other company would have dumped him by now.
Bravo have not, and so now they are looking towards
the future. That isn't mean in television, which is a business,
you should do that. If you're the boss of a network,
(14:45):
you can't just sit tight. You've always got to look
for the next hit. And Brather have got their eyes
on these two. I'm not saying they will be a
replacement for Andy on Watch What Happens Live, but they
are the new, shining, fabulous people. We know how that feels, Garrett.
We've seen people come and go in business.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
We've in the shiny ones and then we became the
old toys with the dust on them, sitting on the
top shelf of Andy's room and toy story. But you know,
it's interesting with bow and Yang. If you watched last night,
he was sitting next to a friend of his at
the Emmys, and that friend just recently left was a
writer on SNL and left based off of the toxicity,
(15:22):
you know, claims. I could see Bowen starting to hoard
all those friends that have left SNL and become writers
and producers for Bravo on shows and movies that they
put onto Bravo. So he's a very smart, a very.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
Very very smart Big two Wicked Part two. I'm not
sure if he's in that, but yep, a big, bigger. Okay,
we're going to take a quick break and we'll be
right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice Show.
Your Hostrol shoot with that dear friend, Garrett Virgel. Hey Garrett,
let's get to the polls.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Oh, here we go.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Last show, we talked about the real reason that Harry
and Charles reunited, and it's because the King is not
doing very well. So I couldn't understand this meeting. It
wasn't really on the schedule. It was a last minute thing.
I spoke to all my sources and I was like,
explain what happened. William was against this meeting, so I
was like, why would the king annoy the Future Air?
(16:14):
What's going on here? And they said, you've got to
frame it, Rob within this amazing framework that the King
is not doing very well, that the palace has not
been as honest about Charles his health. He had not
seen his youngest son in eighteen months, and Insider shocked
me by saying he might not have another eighteen months,
and so this might be hello and goodbye. And once
I understood that, I was like, now I get it.
(16:36):
Now I get why this meeting happened. Our question was
pretty simple. Will will they make peace? Will these two
make peace before they say goodbye? I really hope the
answers yes, Let's have a look. Seventy eight percent said yes.
Fingers crussed. Hey, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
Go to our Twitter page. I had naughty nies. Rob
Our facebook page is ads. I'm sure to check back
(16:59):
to to hear your results. And now it's time for
Nicest of the day. And nicest of the day is
Lynn Manuel Miranda, who is now Jimmy Fallon's new right hand.
So lin Manuel and Jimmy Fallon have really hits it off.
They've become best friends. They're hanging out together now. To
put this delicately, Jimmy's had a difficult past, and we
(17:21):
know he has had some issues with alcohol. He's spoken
about this. Inside as are saying they love lin Manuel
because he's really stable, he's really steady. He's not a
party animal, he's not going out drinking. You know you
are who your friends are in many ways, and I
think that this is a lovely, lovely friendship that's going
to benefit both of them, which is what friendship is
(17:43):
all about. I nicest of the day. And now the
Doctor Phil, he might have a five hundred million dollar
fraud case against them. So America's once favorite truth teller
is now facing his own trial by fire, and the
fallout is staggering. Fire. One hundred million dollar, million dollar
Merrit Street media dream has clapped. So he started his
(18:04):
own TV channel. It's collapsed, it's clapsed into bankruptcy, and
now there's lawsuits. Literally hundreds of staffers have been fired.
He believed his own hype and now it is all gone,
and so this is going to get ugly. I don't
think we're going to see a settlement because there's too
much money here that.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Does Does he shove his mustache to go into tiding.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
You know, I wouldn't. You're actually right though, if you
did that, I probably wouldn't recognize it. Doctor Phil sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.
Let's end with a moment of the stars don't compete.
They just shine when it's their time. The stars don't compete,
and neither should you look up. There are billions of
stars in the sky, each of them blazing on their
own timeline. None of them looks around and thinks, am
(18:49):
I shining brighter than the one next to me? They
don't do that. They just shine when it's their time.
And you you're got to stop comparing your journey to
somebody else's their tie line. Isn't your timeline there? Whin
isn't your loss? Your job isn't to act shine, it's
the show up. Keep moving and trust that when your
(19:10):
moment comes, and it will, you will be ready. Once again.
The stars don't compete. They just shine when it's their time.
Stop competing with everybody. You only have to compete with yourself. Hey,
that is it for today. Thank you so much for listening.
So it's not even nice with Robin Garrett Show. If
(19:31):
iHeartRadio and Elvis Dan, don't forget to subscribe on the
iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts wherever you listen, leave us a
review if you can, And the people who pay close
attention to the format of the show, which really has
not changed since we started it, will notice the day
that I lad Eye did all the items. I don't
want you to think that I'm trying to push afriend
(19:52):
Garrett out. I can see the notes, the emails, the
dms now say, but didn't have a line up today.
All he had was as zoo links. So don't worry
the format. I like our format of going back and
forth and back and forth. Garrett, you did a beautiful
job flying blind. Is that the right expression?
Speaker 3 (20:08):
No, you well said, And you know what, it kind
of just keeps everybody on their toes.
Speaker 2 (20:13):
Maybe we should do a show where I don't have
a format of script a line.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
You know what, we just have headlines, just headline.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Let's do that, Okay, maybe next sec. Hey, once again,
thank you all for listening, and remember here.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
We are going.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Don't care everybody, but nice with ro
