Speaker 1 (00:03):
Thank ye for sure. Ye, it's time nice and love
and love and no Welcome to the naughty but nice
shom your house, Rob Shooter. It is Monday morning now
normally on Monday's, our dear friend Garrett Vogel joins us.

(00:23):
He's after day. But don't worry, Naughtise, We've got so
much to talk about. Will be busy for the next
fifteen twenty minutes or so. And thank you, thank you,
thank you for all the lovely notes I've been getting
over the last couple of days. I've done a ton
of TV talking primarily about Diddy and a lot of
Taylor so if gosh, that's a big story, we'll get
to that a little later on, and a few royal stuff.

(00:44):
That's what you see me mostly on TV doing these days.
But thank you, thank you, thank you. It's amazing how
doing those shows CNN and the morning shows and the
entertainment shows it really does bring new listeners to the podcast.
So as much as I enjoy doing TV, it's really
really fun to do. The reason I do it, the
main reason I do it is to promote this podcast,

(01:06):
and it really works. Our numbers over the weekend went
through the roof We don't do weekend shows, so we
do Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. We take Saturday and
Sunday off, but you can always listen to the back catalog.
So thank you, thank you, thank you. A brand new
show today. Welcome to the new Naughty's lots of audiance

(01:26):
participation on this show, So get ready to sing a lug.
What time is it, my friends? It is tea time
you Sam marvelous. Okay, let's jump right into the show.
So Meghan Markle is getting slammed for an insensitive video
near Princess Diana's crash site. Let me explain. So Meghan
Markle has sparked fury after she shared a bizarre Instagram

(01:50):
post showing it was actually an Instagram story so it
might have already disappeared poof on her stories showing her
lounging in a limo with her feet up. All of
that's lovely. She'd had a hard day of work and
a fashion show. She didn't want to show a facis
is in the limo of Feta up, but she posted
this or she recorded this just moments before passing the

(02:14):
tunnel where Princess Diana was killed in nineteen ninety seven. Oh,
So Megan was in Paris. She was in France for
the Paris Fashion Week. She went to a show. She
looked absolutely magnificent at the show, and after the show

(02:35):
she left and she was in a stretched limo and
she wanted to record the moment for her fans, and
so she took an Instagram story. However, you can see
out of the window that she's driving along the Seine,
the river there nearing the tunnel where Princess Diana died.
Now royal experts are saying this is really utterly bewildering

(02:58):
and its insensitive beyond belief, and no advisor would ever
approve something this tone death. I can't imagine what she
is thinking. This is the part of the problem. It
looks like she's by herself in the limo, which I
find hard to believe. Where are her people, where's her
publicist people around people to help her? This video? Of

(03:22):
all the things she could have posted while in Paris,
she posted a video of her relaxing in a car.
That's the problem. She's in a limo driving down a
road that Princess Diana could have drove down, going very
close to the tunnel where Princess Diana died. Now, I think,
big picture here, Meghan did not mean anything. Maybe subconsciously

(03:44):
she did, but I don't think she was trying to
score points here. I don't believe that for one minute.
But once again, it just goes to show you how
they make bad choices, how the optics are something that
they don't really think about. They're not very good at this.
The Sussex is they're great at being celebrities, but they're
not really very good feeding the celebrity machine. This is
something that Taylor Swift is great at. Julia Roberts, most

(04:06):
big stars are really really good at doing this. The
Sussex is, if you give them two options, they're always
going to pick the wrong one. When Meghan was invited
to Paris Fashion Week, big deal, really exciting, first time
she's ever been sitting front row. Llianciago one of the
top designers in the world. Lots of celebrities there. I

(04:26):
understand why Meghan wants to go to this. I would
sit down with her, or she should sit down with
her husband and say, Paris, now, this is a very
very triggering, difficult, sensitive city for the royal family. This
is the city where Princess Diana died in a car crash.

(04:47):
What should we do while we are there? Should we
avoid this subject? Should we go and lay some flowers?
What should we do? And there should be a big
conversation about what feels appropriate, what they wanted to do.
But if you're gonna visit Paris and you're going to
be driving around in a limo, the one thing you
shouldn't be doing is showing pictures recording yourself having a

(05:12):
jolly good old time in the car. And so, Megan,
I'm sure this was another mistake. I'm sure this is
something that you did not mean to do. You just
didn't think it through. This is what the problem is.
When people become international celebrities overnight, they don't yet have
the tools to deal with the being a star of

(05:33):
this magnitude. Meghan was an actress on an ok TV series.
It wasn't that big a deal. We didn't know her
that well. She wasn't really a household name. If you
didn't watch suits, you wouldn't know who Meghan Markel was.
She was none on my radar until she started dating Harry.
Our friend Mark Lupo, who co hosts Us with Us.
He actually interviewed Meghan, and she had the hutsbur to

(05:53):
turn up at a TV show. He was working at
the Wendy Williams show. And she turned up at the
Wendy show, rang the bell to the office, came upstairs
and pitched herself and they said, no, we don't want
you as a guest, but it's lovely meeting you. Mark
turned down Meghan Markle for a job. Wendy regrets that now,
Wendy says Margy. If Margaret hired her, Wendy could have
gone to the royal wedding. Nevertheless, it just goes to

(06:17):
show you that she wasn't really on the radar of
a lot of TV people, of people like me, of
gossip columnists, of entertainment reporters. She was not on that
radar until she married Harry. And then when she married him,
my goodness, then she was on everyone's radar. But there'd
be no transition, no growth into stardom. He went from
zero to one hundred overnight. And so instead of surrounding

(06:40):
themselves with really good people, real experts, who could help
them with this transition, they just decided to do it themselves.
A little bit arrogant, Yes, I get it. But this
is why these mistakes keep being made, which brings us
to our whole question of the day and Meghan's getting
slammed for a quote in sensitive video NA Princess Diana's

(07:01):
crash site. So the site where Diana died in that tunnel,
it was just moments away from where Meghan posted this
video of her relaxing in the back of a calm Meghan, Megan, Meghan.
What do you think here? Did Meghan make a terrible mistake? Yes?
Or no? Or was this just a video? Is everybody overreacting?

(07:24):
Maybe she thinks she was just filming a video moments away.
The moments away. Had she delayed this taping just a
few seconds, she might have actually been by the tunnel
while she recorded it, right next to the tunnel. Can
you imagine Meghan posting a video at the actual crash site.

(07:47):
This is a lot of people, a lot of people
really really angry today. Hey, go vote on our Twitter
page ad nadyin eyes, rob our Facebook pages, lood he
gossip and be sure to check back to Murrow to
hear your results. If you're following me on substack. Substack
is like a new website. You get a substack. Type
in rob Shooter and my page comes up. You're popping

(08:08):
your email and then twice three times a day you'll
get a little newsletter from me, all the celebrity gossip
as the day goes on. I've got the palace response
to this. Today, I spoke to sources close to Prince
William and Uff. Do they have a response to check
out my sum stack today? Moving along, Travis Kelcey is
cool with Taylor Swift exposing his manhood. Oh my goodness,

(08:29):
So Taylor Swift has a draw dropping new track called
Wood not so Subtle on her The Life of a
Showgirl album, and fans are gasping thanks to the lyrics
that vividly describe Travis Kelcey's private parts. Now inside has
tell me he got the heads up. She played him

(08:52):
the song before the album was released, and he loved it.
Why wouldn't he? It's basically a love letter her to
his Well would She sings the following quote forgive me
it sounds cocky. He mesmatized me and opened my eyes

(09:13):
Redwood Tree, it ate hard to see. His love was
the key that opened my thighs. Oh that is as
racy as Taylor Swift has ever the bead. She does
not record songs like this, she doesn't write like this.
This is fully out there. Now. Her team are totally unfazed.

(09:34):
Obviously they knew she was doing this. They've heard the album.
Execs are not panicking over what everybody else is going
to say. They loving all the attention. However, some people
are a little bit worried some of her ex boyfriends. Now,
if she's going to describe Travis Kelcey, she might do
describe some of her ex boyfriends in graphic details. I'm
told get Riddy, Joe, Little Jonas, mm hm, he's sweating

(09:59):
in a little bit. Anybody else who knows Taylor very
intimately is a little bit worried today. And as for Travis,
he's taking it in his stride. He thinks it is hilarious.
But now we know, now we know, Travis Kelsey is
like a red wood tree. I'm saying no more. I'm blushing, blushing, blushing,

(10:20):
Taylor Swift. I never thought, of all the people we
talk about, all the people we report on, it would
be you that would make me blush on a Monday morning.
Moving along, President Trump is fixated on the Diddy trial
and now a pardon is very much on the table.
So multiple sources told me that the President the President
has been personally tuning in to the coverage of the

(10:44):
Hip Hop Modals trial. It has been monster rating. So
this is not just the White House. America has been
tuning in so so many people have been tuning in
to watch this trial. See and End's ratings have been phenomenal.
People are really really into the fall of did He.
All the leurid details, all the kinky news, all the

(11:04):
sex news, all the drugs. It is a fascinating soap
opera to watch. Insiders are saying that the President is
fascinated and he thinks that did He is being railroaded
oh by prosecutors, and he sees the case as just
another example of the system crushing larger than life figures.
He's basically seeing himself here and so inside of say

(11:26):
a pardon is very very much on the table. In fact,
they say it is more than likely Trump believes did
He is still a cultural pull and he thinks that
stepping in could win him support in places where he
normally struggles, so within the black community, within the African
American community, Trump's numbers are not very good. Did he

(11:47):
maybe can help him with this community? And so a
pardon is very much on the table. You know, I'm
totally against this. In fact, I think the four years
was pretty lenient for what did he did? Think? I
think the recommendation was six to seven years. And so
it seems to me here as if did he already
got an amazing deal. Once again, it feels like the

(12:08):
system's riggs, doesn't it. Rich famous people they can get
away with stuff. I tell you this, if this was
you or I never would be but if it was
would be in jail for a very, very very long time. Okay,
moving along. I hate doing politics on the show. We
try not to, but when these stories are so big,
and when it involves Diddy, it's really a Diddy story.

(12:29):
Also too, we have to acknowledge the president was an
entertainer for many, many years. I have met him many
times when he was on the Celebrity Prinice. I went
to the filming of it, at the taping of it,
I was in the audience at the finale of it.
I'd been to Trump Tower, and he's released when he's
launched vodkas and fragrances and all that other stuff, and
so he's part of the entertainment world. So we try
not to cover politics, and I won't change that on

(12:51):
the show. I know you're not coming to me for
political views, but occasionally it is going to pop up,
hopefully less than more. Let's move along. Jennifer Aniston's new
man is ready to cash in. It's going to make
millions of his new fame. So Jennifer's love life, it's
always been in the headlines, but insiders are now telling
me that her new boyfriend, Jim Curtis, is about to

(13:14):
make some serious money, serious money off his relationship. The
fourteen nine year old author and self proclaimed life architect.
So he's like a self help guru. He's already started
a new book. It's going to be a best seller,
isn't it. You know Jen's going to help him pitch it.
It's going to be how Jennifer fixed his broken heart.
And every major network wants a piece of this. He's

(13:37):
been talked talking about motivational tours, going on tour, He's
been talking about brand partnerships, making money from endorsements, and
even private speaking gigs aligning up. But I'm told too
television people are interested in him as the next type
Oprah person, and so dating Jen has put him into
the spotlight and now it's going to make him very

(14:00):
very rich. I don't think he's doing this for the money.
I think this is like a thing that comes along
with date in Gen. When you date Gen, you become famous.
And when you become famous, you suddenly have this huge
audience that you can sell stuff to. And so it's
pretty logical here. Once again, I hear is a great guy.
I know somebody who used to date him. They said,
is a really really good guy. And he is not

(14:21):
not doing this for the money. They seem really in love.
They seem really to get along very very well. However,
he does have to pay his rent. He's not rich
rich rich like Gen. And so he makes his money
by selling books, by being your self help Uru. Well,
his business is about to explit. He is working around
the clock. I'm getting that book. Don hurry, hurry, hurry,

(14:44):
strike while the iron is hot, my friend. Okay, we're
going to take a quick break, a very quick break
for some ads. The reason we have to do this
not is is that we can bring this podcast to
you for absolutely no money. It costs you nothing I
don't want people paying a penny for for our fun
twenty minutes every morning. Is the way we are allowed

(15:06):
to do that is by having our fantastic sponsors, which
we are very very grateful for. So we shall be
right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice. I'm
your host, job shooter. Hey, let's get to the polls.
DA last show, we talked about Nicole Kidman's star star
studied friend. She knows everybody. Reese, Oprah, Julia Roberts have

(15:31):
cut Keith Urban off, so Hollywood is very much team Nicole.
Here very much team Nicole. Is this the right or
the wrong move? Would you cut your friend's boyfriend husband
off if they did your friend wrong? What do you
think right move or wrong move? Eighty percent said the
right move. Keith has been pushed out of Hollywood. Hey,

(15:54):
don't forget to vote on today's pole. Go to our
Twitter page at Naughty Nice Ramp or our Facebook page
which is Naughty Gossip, and be sure to check back
to Marau to hear your results. And now it's time
for a nicest half the day. Oh, the nicest of

(16:15):
the day is Selena Gomez, who just shared the intimate
moment of her writing her wedding vows. So In a
new Instagram post, the thirty three year old star shared
never before seen photos from the morning of her Santa
Barbara wedding, including one really emotional shot of her in
a silky pink robe, sitting on her bed with her

(16:38):
pen in her hand, writing her vows. Now. I hope
she'd already thought about this. I hope she wasn't just
doing it that morning Fred to say she had thought
about it. She was making some edit she was making
some final changes, so she didn't start from scratch just
hours before the wedding. The carousel also featured really playful

(16:59):
moments with and candid chants off Selena in her white
veil and a blue robe, and a dreamy photograph of
the newly weds strolling along the beach. She captured the
post quote from writing my vows to leaving my wedding
a little earlier than most. Oh it is so so
beautiful as the crowd, as her guest, as her friends

(17:21):
parted away all night long, Benny and Selena disappeared to
the beach. So romantic, so beautiful, Thank you, thank you,
thank you. I'm nicest the day and now I'm naughtiest
of the day, naughteen neuorty. Taylor Swift has caused a
meltdown inside Rolling Stone Magazine. So insiders at the magazine
have erupted in chaos because the once iconic music music

(17:44):
magazine believes that they've turned over the whole place to
Taylor Swift. Quote every headline, every homepage slot, it's all Taylor.
You think she had bought the magazine. Well, I think
that's not quite fair here. Everybody has been doing a
lot of tailor Swift coverage. The album has sold over
two point seven million copies. Tell us what to somebody

(18:04):
we are talking about. However, the flashpoint, and I do
think this is something that we should think about. This
is a little suspicious. The flashpoint came when Rolling Stone
magazine handed Taylor a five star review. Fair enough, it's
a great album. Five stars, though that's sort of bridge
over Troubled Water. That is the best of the best
of the best. This album's very, very good, but five

(18:26):
stars even worse. The gushy write up had no byeline.
It said by Rolling Stone. So normally the music critics
byeline is always actually on the review. There's nobody's name
on it. So is this done by committee? Who actually
is the critic who decided that she was getting five stars?

(18:48):
So behind the scenes, the newsroom is melting down, Veteran
writers who are really really serious about their craft affuming
over this, calling you to pr takeover disguised as covering ooh,
will keep you in the loop. Let's end with a
moment of rub you rub rub a rubber. Believe in
yourself even when nobody else does, especially then, because that's

(19:10):
the moment your belief matters the most. Every person who's
ever built anything incredible started alone with nothing but self
belief and a tiny whisper, tiny whisper that said keep going.
People may doubt you, they might even dismiss you or
misunderstand you, but their opinion isn't your destiny. Your belief

(19:33):
is what's going to fuel you, protect it, feed it,
and trust it. Once again, Believe in yourself, nought ease,
even when nobody else does. I believe in you. Hey,
that is it for today. Thank you so much for
listening to the Naughty Print Nice with Rob and Norti show.
You're the co host today. We're a production of iHeart

do help, and remember altogether an hour like sing along.
