Rosie and Ellen have buried the hatchet — and insiders say their shared dislike has brought them closer than ever. Sarah Jessica Parker confirmed she did date Nicolas Cage on Watch What Happens Live — but sources say he doesn’t even remember. And royal experts claim Meghan Markle is still the biggest reason William and Harry can’t make peace.

Rob’s best pal Delaina Dixon from DivaGalsDaily's joins him today. Don't forget to vote in today's poll on Twitter at @naughtynicerob or in our Facebook group.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice. Sure it's nice.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Lower level low Welcome to the naughty but nice. I'm
your host, um shooter. And it is Tuesday, which means
our dear friend Delana Dixon joins us same as the
other I am.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
It's my last day here in Georgia, so I mean
just for this little trip. But of course, you know
I love seeing my nephews. We went to see Superman.
Oh it was good that guy chancel.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah, it's really really and it's more fun. I saw
this one. I don't normally like action movies, but the
New York Times I'm such a film snub. I'm not really,
but like, these action movies are not my things. The
New York Times loved it. Now if the New York
Times likes a movie like Superman, and even the Times
was quite surprised. They were like, we know nobody like
these movies, but this is tricky. It's campy, it's funny.
It's like, got too moody, didn't it with that Henry Carvell?

(01:01):
Oh so moody, so dark A Batman? Oh no, this
one is back to old Christopher Reeves Superman.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yes, yes, David corn Sweat. Oh, he's just so handsome
and come on, the Dog, the Dog stole the movie.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
I can't wait, I can't wait. Go and see it
if you haven't seen it. Let's jump into our show.
What time is it? My friends? And it's tea time,
Big sory at the top of the show. So we're
not a political show. This has a little bit of
a political element, but we're going to try and stay
away from that. Ellen and Rosie Ellen Degenerous and Rosie
o'donald's are now best friends. So these two they were
not friends for a really long time. In fact, if

(01:39):
you remember, back in nineteen ninety eight, Larry King spoke
to Rosie about Ellen and they said that they didn't
really know each other. At least that's what Ellen told
Larry King. She said, I don't really know Rosie. Well,
Rosie said that hurt like a baby, she said. Ellen
was not that kind to her. At the peak of
her Fane and Rosie had had a talk show first,
Ellen had followed her. It would have been nice had

(02:01):
she said, oh, I'm standing on Rosie's shoulders, or thank
you Rosie for paving the way. No, no, no, Ellen
was not that kind. So for nearly twenty five years,
Ellen has pretty much claimed that she doesn't really know
Rosie Donald will now. After Rosie was attacked by the President,
she responded and Ellen Ellen wrote, good for you, Rosie.

(02:24):
I hit the phones to see what's going on here,
and my source tell me they've had a couple of conversations.
They are talking, so Roses in Ireland, Ellen's in the UK.
They both left the United States after the election, but
there seems to through a common adversary, made mutual friends.

(02:46):
This happens quite a lot. When you both have somebody
that you don't like, you might put aside your own drama,
your own battles and team up together because you've got
somebody in common now to dislike more than disliking one another.
Not that unusual. What do you think mistake?

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Yeah, I think they said it perfectly and wicked There's
nothing easier to do than to make people drive for
a cause by giving them a villain to hate. So
not calling anybody a villain, I'm just quoting wicked up.
But I do think that you know they both have
left the country for whatever reasons. They're both in Europe

(03:26):
and so they're not far from one any other ones
in Ireland, I believe ones in London, so there's a
possibility of getting together having a cup of tea or
find them guinness and talking. And obviously there's still voices
that we listen to. So if they decide to join
forses together to speak about a cause that they both

(03:46):
agree on, people are gonna listen. So maybe that's what
they're planning, or maybe they're planning a little comedic comeback
by not plan the two of them together.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Yeah, if you think about it, they both have so
much in common. Both out gay women, both women who
are comedians. They have so much in common a similar age.
I think these two could be really good friends. It's
amazing cow sometimes you forget why you're not on friendship
terms with somebody who you should get along with, Like

(04:17):
sometimes the narrative of we've not been friends for twenty
five years just becomes the narrative. I've had a weird
experience the last couple of days where I bumped into
somebody on a walk Misty, an executive producer of a
big morning show who doesn't like me, and I do
not like him. But neither one of us can remember
why we don't like each other. I know I can't
remember why I don't like him, but I don't know

(04:37):
if he can remember why he doesn't like me, So
to his credit, it wasn't me, mister, I was quite frosty.
To his credit, he stopped me and changed phone numbers
and said, let's go get a drink and then just
texted me and we're going to get a drink later
this week. And I bet you we find we've got
a lot more in common than what we actually had
against one another. I think we're going to find out
the same things make us laugh. We both love television,

(04:59):
we both love morning shows, we both love gossip, we
both love talk shows. So I think sometimes if there's
somebody on your list who you don't like, ask yourself
when did this start and why? And if you can't
find the answer, maybe it's time to have an Ellen
and Rosie moment.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
You're making me giggle, Rob, because I ran into somebody
that we used to work with at an event about
a month and a half ago, and they were both
very pleasant to one another. We said hello, and then
she said we should get together, and in my mind
I was just thinking, I'll never gotta have But that's
because I remember why.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Yeah, that's that you remember why. I know who you're
talking about, and you've got good reason. She was awful,
she was absolutely awful. And so when you remember why,
if you've got a reason to not like somebody, I'm
not telling you to be friends. I'm not if you've
got a really good reason. That often we fall out
because of a really good reason. But if you can't
remember why, well you don't actually even know why, then

(06:00):
maybe it's a minute that you two could be friends.
I like Ellen and Rosie together. I like them going
on the road together. I could totally see them doing
stand up together. I could see these two really really
hitting it off. I've been with Rosie a lot of
times out socially. She's a lot of fun, the Rosie
you see on TV, the funny, happy, generous, kind Rosie.

(06:21):
He's always the Rosie I have experienced Ellen not so much.
I've been around Ellen and it wasn't quite as pleasant.
So maybe here, maybe here, the two of them liking
Wicked started off as enemies myster but could end up
as good friends. Is that the story of Wicked? Maybe not,
but you know what I mean, maybe these two could
figure out that they could be changed for good. Look

(06:43):
at me, Okay, don't forget to vote an't today's Paul
Ellen and Rosie are now best friends. What do you
think of this about this new friendship? Do you like it?
Do you like this new friendship? Yes? Or no? Hey?
Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob
our Facebook pages Naughty Gossip and be sure to check
back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Misty, what are
you working on?

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Well? Talking about forgetting something that happened in your life.
So Sarah Jessica Parker was on Watch What Happens Live
with Andy Cohen and she casually confirmed that she yes,
had dated her honeymoon in Vegas co Star and that
would be Nicholas Cage during filming. So she basically said yes,
I did you know, kind of with a knowing smile,

(07:26):
And of course the audience went into frenzy because she's
been married a very long time. But behind the scenes,
sources are saying that Nicholas Cage is going, huh, we dated?
He's like, he didn't. He says, I'm not denying it,
I just don't remember it was okay. So this was
a nineteen ninety one rom com. There was a lot

(07:47):
off the charts chemistry. Rumors have swirled for years that
they were together, but not until now has either of
them firm nor denied whether they were.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
Red the rooms. We'd heard the rooms missing me and
you have gossiped back. I wasn't convinced about him. I
could not find a source that could confirm this, but
now we have it from Sarah herself. Nicholas Cage is
not quite so sure that he remembers it, which I
think is very, very, very very rude. I'm glad the
students did not end up as a couple. I really
like this Sarah Jesca Parker, and I've got to give

(08:17):
my my hat. I've got to tip my hat to
Andy Cohen. He's really close with her. It's like you
and me close, Misty. They hang out together out of
the gossip. They text all the time. But he still
had the hotspur the naughtiness to ask her this question.
And even though sometimes Andy pretends it's a fan question,
the fact it was asked on TV tells you how
cheeky Andy is. And maybe that's why he's so adorable.

(08:39):
Even he's really close friends, he can't help himself. He
just can not help him.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
And that's why we watch.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
That's why we watched. That is why we watch. Are
you watching The New Sex and the City. I'm not.
I watched a few episodes and I didn't enjoy its.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Stall I am watching and just like that because whether
you love it or hate it, I mean for the
clothes alone. I actually think at the last episode seven
wasn't so bad. I'm feeling Seema. I love that she's
trying to figure out what to do with her life,
starting at her own business. I think a lot of
women who are in their fifties who have never been

(09:13):
married go through that, like what do I do next?
And just some of the you know, she went to
like a cheap eyelash place and she got an infection.
But then this guy thinks she's really hot, so she
was making out in a cab and I was like, yeah,
go girl.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
You sold it. You saw I'm going to give it
another try. Okay, moving along, the real reason that Prince
Harry and his brother William can't make peace is Meg Markle.
Now we're not blaming Meghan here, but yesterday we did
a story that there was a peace talks in London
between the King's people and Prince Harry's people. They were
spotted together at the very fancy private bar type club
and they were having like well, the British press is saying,

(09:49):
are peace talks. My sources are telling me it's more
like people in the same business getting a dream. It's
like if you and me had a drink with people
from page six or Radar at TMZ. We're all in
the same sort of business. It's not really that I
was sitting together collaborating. We're just sitting in the same industry.
If you work in a store or a restaurant, you
probably have friends who work in similar, similar fields, and

(10:10):
so I'm told it's that. However, what I did find
out yesterday is they won't make peace until they include William.
William is part of this. So the King's people and
Prince Harry's people they can talk forever. But that's not
the problem. The King would love to make peace, and
I'm sure Harry would too, it's William. William doesn't want
to make peace. Well, I said that yesterday and my
phones exploded. My British sources said, you know, if William

(10:31):
has a seat at the table, then so Meghan should too.
And Meghan's part of this. She should be his wife,
this is his partner. This is somebody who really feels
like she wasn't treated very well. And I think she's
given us some really good examples of when she wasn't.
So they said it's going to take so many people
to forgive her. Camilla Parker Bowles the Queen, and she

(10:53):
was insulted in the book Kate Middleton. She was crying
at a wedding fitting for Princess Charlotte. Sometimes, Misty, we
all have a memory that's too sharp. We can't forget.
We can't forget the bad stuff. But I would argue,
don't forget it, but put an emphasis on the good stuff.

(11:15):
There's also good stuff. It's so easy to remember the
five times you upset me, the four times you upset me.
It's so easy to forget the four thousand times you
made me really really happy. And so my ratio is
about I'd like to say eighty twenty if you make
me happy eighty percent of the time. The twenty percent
is fine. I'd love it to be ninety ten if
the truth be told, and I probably would settle for

(11:37):
sixty forty. Don't tell anybody that where's your ratio of
this happiness people in your life mystery how much joy?
What percentage of joy do they have to bring you
to remain in your life.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
I think that the number you put out is pretty good.
I mean, if they say for your macro diet, you know,
eighty percent should be clean and twenty percent you can
enjoy your food, that sounds ab outright for the people
in your life from that's pretty good because I love
certain people in my life, you know, and they annoyed
the heck coy, but I'm willing to put up with

(12:09):
that for all what else they bring and look for
the Royal family, I mean, this is the time we
need a reality show. We need to put these people
on an islands or do some kind of Survivor esque
or Lego Masters or something where they have to work
together for a common good and just hash it out.
Come on the world would be watching. I think we
could stop Wars if this actually became a TV show,

(12:31):
Everybody would be like less, watch and see how they
want to figure this out.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
That's right, It'd be good for us to stee we
could become a cottage industry where were all we did
was cover that reality show? Yeah podcast, my friend Theanna
who you know, is just giggling to myself. She always
warns me, because we have an eighty twenty percent rule.
We'll put up with twenty percent, but eighty percent. She's
always like, Robert, you're very close to twenty one percent,
she says. She's like, honey, you're about eighty point five percent,

(12:59):
but you could cross it to twenty one in ten minutes.
So watch yourself. I love it. Okay, quickly before we
get a break. Orlando Bloom is thriving after his breakup
with Katie Perry. Where did we spot him? What is
he up to and why is he looking so happy?

Speaker 1 (13:14):
I think I need to slip into someone's DMS. Okay,
So we saw him with Katy Perry. You know, they
were with their daughter Daisy off the Italian coast. But
now he's at Wimbledon. He was dressed in a Chris
Ralph Laurenz suit. He was looking at us, splashing his smile.
He's forty eight years old, he's come into his own
and he's just every bit the dashing, available gentleman. So

(13:38):
sources are telling us he's not wallowing, he's enjoying his
freedom and he's definitely not lacking attention. He is the
new hot bachelor on the block. So basically he's got
all these people who want to put him in movies,
and he's got all these opportunities to date all the
single women out there. I mean, we saw him, you know,
flirting a little bit with Kim Kardashian and other people.

(14:00):
So he's taking solo meetings, he's juggling as professional offers,
and he's just figuring out what to do next. Now,
the keyword here, Orlando is gentlemen. As much as you'd like,
but remember, in the end, still be a gentleman. You
are a daddy, and you still have an ex wife.
So we don't want to hear any bad stories about sloppiness.

(14:22):
Just good dates.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
Yeah, don't be sloppy. He looks terrific. I like that
he has a big smile on his face. They're a
great couple. Yes, it's sad when you break up, sources
tell me, though they broke up months ago, so now
by the time sometimes you admit it, it's really it's over.
By the time I finally say, like, I don't want
to be friends with you anymore, it's sort of at
that point where it's over. Oh well, well, there's there's

(14:47):
a very nice future for both of them, a lovely
future for little Daisy. And it is nice to see
somebody dressed up and looking so shop so humbledon Orlando,
Hello alone, mis d on your DMS right now. Okay,
we're going to take a really quick break. And once again,
I know that the ads are annoying when I listen

(15:08):
to podcasts, but this allows us, our wonderful sponsors allow
us to bring you this podcast for zero cost. It
doesn't cost us anything, so it's zero cost. So that's
why we have these advertisers not to annoy you. I know,
I know, I know, so please listen to them and
we'll should see you in a few moments.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Get a drink.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm Rob
Shutter with our dear friend mister. Hey, mister, let's get
to the polls. Last show, we talked about Prince Harry
and King Charles having peace talks or their team having
a peace talk in London. That means and not think
without William. Should William have been involved? Eighty seven percent
said yes, William should have been there. I agree. I

(15:50):
hope Dad and son make friends, but until he makes
friends with his brother who's going to be the future king.
This isn't gonna work, so don't forget to vote on
today's pole. It's a good poll today. Get our Twitter
page at Naughty Noise Room. On our Facebook page is
Naughty say to check back to my row will here
your results are. Now it's time for anst of the day.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Well, our nicest of the day is Neil Diamond, because
he's saying the music is not done with me yet.
So he was at the Pantageous Theater in Los Angeles,
a gorgeous theater. He let a surprise sing along of
Sweet Caroline during a performance of during a performance of
a Beautiful Noise, the Neil Diamond musical. So basically the

(16:38):
musical is performing there, and he just came on the
stage and a baseball cap and a long sleeved shirt
and he just rose from the audience and just came
up onto the stage and performed. And now he was
introduced by Nick Farradini, the American Idol owner on stage,
and you know, Diamond's voice was just real and rasby

(16:59):
and oh amazing. So yeah, go ahead, rab, what's he
going to do next?

Speaker 2 (17:04):
I saw, well, you know, he did retire about seven
years ago, so it's very difficult with his medical issues
for him to perform. But I love seeing him again.
And I saw this musical on Broadway. It is just fantastic.
If you love Neil Diamond and who doesn't all those
songs in just beautiful two hours, his story is told,
the acting is great, the directing is great, and full disclosure,

(17:27):
my friend Ken Davenport produced this show. He produced Harmony
and so Ken, congratulations, I hear it's selling out. And
now our naughtice the day, Naughty, Naughty Blake Lively is
our naughty has been accused of stamping her foot as
her deposition really heats up. So Blake is meant to
do a deposition on Thursday. That's when you sit down
in front of Justin Baldone's lawyers and you answer a

(17:49):
lot of really tough questions. It's always videotape. That footage
exists forever. While Blake's team is saying, we don't want
Blake to go to Justin's lawyer. We want Justin's lawyer
to come here, they are claiming that she will be
stampeded by photographers, by paparazzi. Just things people are not
buying it and saying this is Blake basically stamping her foot,

(18:09):
trying to be a diva once again, using her celebrity
to control the process, which really is what Justin accused
her of doing on that film. They're calling her a
diva behind closed doors. Blake, you can't have special rules.
Just turn up. If you are called for a deposition,
you gotta go. Yes, would you like nice lighting? Would

(18:30):
you like it in your living room? Would you like
it on your turf? I'd like to do all my
depositions at Botty. You knows it'd be lovely to do
them there. But no, you've got to go. This is
the rule. It's not a different rule for you. And
there's no evidence that you're gonna be literally stampeded by
paparazzi in one place and very close by their offices
are actually quite close, no paparazzi there. I think this

(18:53):
is just playing games and it's a bad look, Blake.
This trial has cost you so much. It's costure Taylor Swift,
It's costures and fans think this is just silly.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
What do you think, mister, Yeah, I mean I understand
she wants to control the lighting, because this is going
to live on in perpetuity, So I think that's more
where it's coming from. But girl, just bring your ring light,
put on your best fashion, make sure your makeup is
done to the hill, show up like cooking from Empire, girl,
and make it work. And yes, it's time to figure

(19:22):
out how to get the heck out of this.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
Look.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
You and your husband both produced write direct movies. Direct
yourself out of this one.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Absolutely. Let's end with a moment of rob You're gonna
Being kind isn't just right, it's smart. Kindness isn't weakness.
It's not something that's soft and naive. It's powerful, it's strategic,
it's wise. Kindness opens doors that force never could. It
earns trust, it builds respect, and it leaves a lasting impression.

(19:55):
It really really does. The truth is here, mister, is
how you treat people. It always comes back around to you,
and in a world that can often be cold and competitive,
kindness is going to make you unforgettable. So yes, be kind,
and not just because it is right, because it is smart. Hey,

(20:17):
that is it for today. Thank you so much for
listening to They're Not Even Nice with Robin. Miss d Show,
a production of iHeart Radio and Elvis Durant don't forget
to subscribe on the iHeart Radio app podcast wherever you listen,
leave us a review if you can. They really do
help and remember all together now.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
If you're going, you got to be nice.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Nice to tell everybody story, but

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Nice with bro
