Speaker 1 (00:09):
Vice. Sure, it's nice. Hello lo love a love loa Loawallo.
Welcome to the Naughty but Nicia and your host rum Shooter.
It's Thursday, which means our dear friend Mark Luther joins us,
I missed your last week, louve hellover loa lo are
you there?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I missed you to lupy luis here Hi Rum.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
I was back in Britain last week. Thank you for
all your kind messages. Mark, you sent me a lovely texting,
so thank you, thank you, thank you. My dad is
doing a little bit better, thankfully, because I had a
hospital so fingers crossed. I read him or your DMS
all your messages and it gave him such joy. He
was also to a little bit perplexed. I don't think
he really knows what I do for a living, and
so this is a very difficult thing to explain to

(00:51):
a policeman, a retired policeman. My family all had regular
quote jobs like teachers, police people. They were one my
brother's an electrics cution. My sister Anne is a nurse,
and so me talking each day and making out of it.
They fired absolutely bizarre, particularly because they think I should
shut up a little bit around the family dinner table. Okay,

(01:13):
let's jump into the show. What time is it, my friends?
It is tea time. So luckily, the silver lining of
me being in London, Mark is I met with all
my old friends who now mainly work at Buckingham Palace.
If you're a gay guy in Britain, the number one
job you want is in Bookingham Palace. And I've got
to admit at least three or four of my friends
now work for the Royal sel. I've got a ton

(01:34):
of Royal news. Harry and King Charles's peace summit, which
was meant to happen next week. Harry's going back to
London next week for a charity event. It has imploded
and they can't agree on anything. Mark, So sources tell
me this long waited meeting and have not seen each
other in twenty months. Mark, that's a long time. That's
theost two years not seeing each other. So their camp's

(01:57):
got together. They're trying to schedule this, but they can't
agree on even the basics. The whole thing's a mess.
One source tells me they can't decide the date, the time,
or the location. So forget the agenda, forget what they're
talking about At this point, they can't even decide where
they want to do it. Charles the King wants to
do it at Windsor Castle or at Buckingham Paris Palace.

(02:19):
Maybe Clarence has Harry's team wants a neutral settings far
away from the palace walls, so the clashing of the
location also to the time. Harry is a little bit flexible.
He's light, we'll do it at two ish. Charles is light,
we'll do it at two like they don't do ish
and I get that to him. My mom and dad
got really annoyed with me when I was in Britain
because I'm very Ish, Like if we have drinks, mark

(02:41):
on make you six ish, but it's not your very
actually your old school on this you if you say six,
mark it is six, like you know you were always
on time. I like that, but it's just another difference.
And then what are they going to talk about? So
I don't think this is going to happen at least
today Thursday. Nothing is set yet. I might be I
might be wrong, Maybe they'll change their minds. I've got

(03:02):
my fingers crossed for them because I want them to meet.
But I think he a deep down mock is they're
not meeting, not because of dates or times or locations.
They don't really want to meet. This has happened to me.
If I say to you, let's get a drink, but
I don't give you the date, I don't really want
to get a drink. Have you had this, like, you know,
if you don't, if you don't want to do it,
then you're never going to do it. And I don't

(03:23):
think even one of them really wants to do this.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
What do you think, Well, yeah, I mean I think
that's life in New York, right. You just you want
there are things that you probably would like, but then
you just can't commit. I think this is for me.
This is different because it's when you break it down
and you strip it down to the basics. It's a
father and son. It's been two years, it's really really
and then he's King Charles is really sick, like they're
not they or may not be it tomorrow. We don't know,

(03:49):
you know. I was doing some digging earlier and I
saw that Perry has an event I think in London
on September eighth. And the thing is September eighth is
the second anniversary of the Queen's passing, and so I
think that complicates things in the way of, you know,
their meetings. I think Harry here needs to just stop
and accept the fact that if he does meet with
King Charles, his father, he should be grateful and happy.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Yes, yes, yes, it's so neither one of them are
going to give an inch. Neither one of them are
giving an inch here, So why bother? Like I've had
this happen with people I've fell out with, thankfully not
family members. Family members, they just pick up the phone
and say, we're coming over to your apartment. We're going
to figure this out, and I'm going to figure it out.
But I think here, with friends or people that you
fell out with, you've got to say, like why do

(04:33):
I want to meet? Do I want to meet for closure?
Or do I want to meet because I want to
rekindle this relationship? And so I think both of them
need to sit down and decide what do they want
out of this, and if they want similar things, then
maybe there's a solution. But if Harry wants to be
a part time royal and have the royals pay for everything,
which is, let's be honest, what he wants, that ain't

(04:53):
gonna happen. And I think Charles wants his son back,
but that isn't going to happen without all the financial
oblique which come with that too. It is a messy affair,
this family. You have said it, Mark, and I have
stolen it from you many many times when I'm on
TV talking about the Royals. Petty, petty, petty, I just
it's such a petty bunch. They can't get it together now.

(05:16):
An insider in California tells me, even if this meeting
happens without Megan and with that William present, it's a
waste of time. It's never ever going to be fixed.
Maybe this will be the first step, Maybe it'll be
good pr for Harry and for the king, but it's
not going to fix anything unless William, who really is

(05:37):
sort of running the show now, and Megan. Let's be honest,
she's running the show in Harry's household. She's the boss
of La and the and the Sussex Empire. So unless
those two get it together, it feels like a very
misguided first step that neither one of them really wanted to.
You can make time, you can find a priority, even

(05:58):
if it is the day of the Queen's and that's
a really important detail. Mark fly out a day early,
stay a day later, don't leak it to the press.
That's another thing that they're very worried about, too, is
that Charles's people really didn't say much about this. They
think all the leaks came from Harry's side, so we
shouldn't even know this meeting is happening. Everybody knows. Everybody

(06:19):
knows because of the loose lips, which brings us to
our pole question of the day. It's a good one.
The meeting between King Charles and Prince Harry has collapsed
as of now, it is not happening. He's going back
next week and they have nothing on the schedule. Who
is to blame? Hi? Ooh is it the King? Is

(06:40):
it Prince Harry? Maybe it's both. Hey, go vote on
our Twitter page, add naughty nice rob our facebook pages
naughty gossip and me shoe here to check better Morrow
to hear your results. Hey, loopy lou, where are you
working on?

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Let's talk about the ass warrens h Okay. So, Asia
Osborne's death has left fans more the Prince of darkness,
but while his family works to sanctify his legacy critics
are reminding us and the world that not all was
well and not all the stories are great or fit
for sainthood. So let me explain. So last this past week,

(07:15):
Jack Osbourne came out swinging at Pink Floyd legend Roger
Waters for dismissing Ozzie's music. But the outburst has backfired
and opened a pendor's box, so to speak of ugly reminders. Now,
one source said they're trying to rewrite history, the source
told our podcast, and Ozzy was loved, but he had

(07:35):
a complicated legacy. Now I have a list free of
just a few finders, a few reminders.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
A big big is a big So.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
In nineteen eighty nine, Ozzy drunkenly tried to strangle Sharon,
his wife, pissing your to die. That is crazy. And
then he went on to admit he beat his wives,
terrified his steps on Elliott, and famously urinated on the Alamo.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
I remember there was also cruelty towards animals. He is
famous for biting the head off a bat, but he
also killed a dove and he allegedly shot seventeen of
the families cats. And so this is very tricky here
We've had this happen in the world of celebrity whenever
a superstar dies. Recently, when Hulkgan died, I was on
TV talking about Hulk's legacy. It's a complicated legacy. This

(08:23):
man used the N word, This was a violent man.
But is at the moment to tell the whole story.
Forgive me for making this about myself, but I've been
thinking about my father and his life, and when the
time comes to get up in that church and talk
about my dad, what story do I tell? Is it
just the good? There's nothing as bad as this. Let's

(08:44):
be very clear. He but people are complicated, Mark, You
and I have stories, we have moments that were not
that proud of. We've done stuff that wasn't that great.
So I don't want you to be your worst moment.
If you're holding onto that worst day of your life,
become that person. It's not healthy. But at the same time,
if you pretend that day did not happen, you're not

(09:05):
being honest. So I think here it's a balancing act. Mark.
I'm very very aware of that my good qualities and
my bad qualities, but I have no saint, and I
think that's the mistake we make. We try to make
people saints or sin us. And when we finally acknowledge
that our friends, our family, even ourselves are shades of gray,

(09:26):
that we are a spectrum of emotions, that's when I
think real friendship and real love can can blossom. I
have a rule, Mark, that you have to give me
at least eighty percent joy. You can be an awful
person twenty percent of the time, but if you give
me eighty percent joy, that's fine. If you give me
forty percent joy and you're not very nice sixty percent

(09:48):
of the time, then we cannot be friends. I can
forgive a mistake, I can forgive a tantrum. I can
forgive a bad moment. Once again, These Ozzie examples that
Mark provided are are extreme, and none of my friends
have done anything near that. But they have done stuff
that has annoyed me. I'm sure I've done stuff that
annoyed them. I don't fall out with people because of
one incident. Mark. If you did something really outrageous that

(10:11):
really hurt me, if I found out you were saying
awful things about me, I would forgive you because I
know that was just the moment. It's not what you
do every time you talk about me, I hope it's
not what you do. You talk about. Where are you
on this, Mark? I would imagine you're a little bit
more extreme because you can, you can hold a grudge,
you can you can cut someone off more, you can
cut them off.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
I mean, listen, it's complicated. I am not a saye,
as you mentioned, and neither are you. You know. I
think about like Wendy Williams in this moment. You know,
Wendy has a complicated legacy too. You know, she was
really entertaining, a fun and a nice person in her life,
but she also said some horrible things and did some
really natural great things to people out of people. And

(10:51):
so where do you end up with this? How do
you and how do you talk about her? Someone who's
suffering in real time and you know, has a sad diagnosis.
I don't know, you know. I think I try to
honor the good times but also recognize she had flowers.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
That's really smart, isn't it. It's really really smart. Mark.
I still listen to Michael Jackson. I know I know
the truth, but I love those songs and so I
can compartmentalize it. But overall, I think You've got to
just figure out a balance here. Don't hold people up
to Saint Herd because they're always going to disappoint you.
And there will be some things that just cross the line.

(11:25):
If you hurt an animal, we're done. Like that's something
that if you heard a human being like I'm talking physically,
physically hurt one or even mentally here, we're done. There's
certain lines that I can cross, but there's all other
stuff that I'm flexible about. If you slap at me,
I'm okay, it was a bad day you have in
I don't know what's going on with your day. If
you push in front of me in a line when

(11:46):
we're at Starbucks, I'll let it go twice. Mar I'll
let it go twice. But there's certain things that are negotiable.
People are very, very complicated. That's a great story. Mark
ak moving along this story broke my heart. So a
Limp legend. Greg Luganus. He is so broke that at
one point he considered doing an only fan So. He's
sixty five years old, he was living in California. He's

(12:09):
just been forced to sell three of his Olympic medals.
He made a fortune nearly half a million dollars and
now he's moving I believe, to Panama to start a
great new life. We are sending you a best I've
met him a few times. So you auditioned once for
Bruce and Barry's musical Copa Cabana, and so he wanted
to be the lead in that. He didn't get the part.
Like he's not a singer and a dancer, he's an

(12:30):
Olympic swimmer. And so after that is over, after you retire,
what do you go on and do? Like you're not
going to get a Broadway show because you can't sing
and dance and we're not putting a swimming pool on
the stage. So it's a very complicated thing. I know
a few people who have gone to the Olympics and
they're life after the Olympics. Not the superstars, not the
ones that were talking about forever, but their life after

(12:53):
the Olympics have not been that good. It's when you
see these people who have these huge jobs and then
those jobs go away. What's your next act? It's very hard,
isn't it. As life changes. I think about my friend
Debbie Gibson. I love deb There was a while when
deb was selling out the garden. She's not doing that anymore.
There's no disgrace here. Life changes. But what do you do?

(13:16):
How do you pay your bills? Can Greg go and
work in a Starbucks? That probably wouldn't feel quite right
or satisfying. People would be cruel to him if they
saw him behind the counter there. Realize that life is
ebbs and flows, and when you're flying high, you might
not be the next time. So my advice is, if
you can save your money, keep your mind open when

(13:37):
you're earning a lot of money. And he was for
a while doing Beata bigs and all these commercials, squirrel
a little bit of it away. Heartbreak and I hate
hearing about people's financial troubles.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
I really do, Mark, I mean it breaks my heart too.
And you know, I think about Mary Lou Henner or
Ryan Lochte and people have really suffered. And I feel
like our country, in a way, it turns their back
on these people. They've served, us served on behalf of
the country showing up for these events, training their whole
lives for this one thing, and then when it's over,
we just move on. I wish there were some kind

(14:08):
of program set up to help and protect these athletes
because they are you know, they really are civil service
in some type of the way.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
Yeah, not for reality stars, like I don't want any
government fund pension for it. But the same thing happens
with them. We've met a lot of reality stars, Mark,
They never think the day's over. They never think it.
Jill Zaron thought she was going to be on that
show now she had family money. She was okay afterwards,
but a lot of them didn't. A lot of them
had to reinvent themselves. Okay quickly before we get a break.
We spoke about him earlier. But whole Hogan's family is very,

(14:38):
very scared, Mark that there might be more sex tapes
out there. Oh that isn't something we want to see.
I don't think what's going on?

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Oh my god. So Hulk Hogan's family is bracing for
the ultimate SmackDown, the possible release of a new tape
never before seen that might put his life and his
legacy back into chaos. Now, so the Hogan clan believes
the disgrace to it shock Jock Bubba love Sponge maybe
hiding additional recordings of Hogan's shocking twenty twelveth affair with

(15:07):
Bubba's then wife, Heather clam and they're terrified this he
might just cash it out at any moment. It's they
call it taking time bomb. Essentially, nobody knows what Bubba has,
but there could be more tapes, more angles and other encounters,
and the Hogan family is now in fear that it
might servece.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
If you're going to make one sex tap, you're probably
going to make another. If you remember, probably not putting.
Twenty twelve, there was a sex tape of Hulk Hogan
and Bubba's then wife, Heather Clem that was released. They
ultimately brought down Gorka, the website that released that tape,
but the tape was legit. It was before AI. It
really really happened. And so if Bubba has been putting
cameras in his house and secretly recording people, there's probably

(15:48):
going to be more tapes. Yeah, we don't want to
see that. Okay, we're going to take a quick break
and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
Not Even Nights Shore on your hod Scrub Shooter with
a dear friend, Mark Lupo Lupi. Let's get to the
polls that don't ah. Last year we took back Jennifer
Aniston confessing that she turned down the met Ball she
didn't want to go. Not not her things. She's more

(16:09):
of a T shirt and jeans. She gets very nervous
at those sort of big events. I get it. If
you don't want to go, don't go. I've been twice. Mark.
I went with j Loo and Jessica Simpson. Not the
greatest night. People were a little bit nasty, like it's
a bit of a mean girl vibe, and so they're
all looking you up and down and judge it. So
it wasn't for me. So I sort of hear Jennifer.
But my question is, would you go if you were invited?

(16:29):
Let's h ninety six percent said yes. Adam Blove, I mean,
you've gotta go if you're invited, just once, just to
see what it's like, and then you could come on
my show, our show, Mark and tell us all the dish. Hey,
don't forget To vote on today's poll, go to our
Twitter page add Naughty Nice rob. Our facebook page is
Naughty Gossip and be sure to check back tomorrow to
hear your results. And now, ooh, it's time for and

(16:52):
nicest of the Jay.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
It's Rosie o'donna.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Oh, I see we love Rosie.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Rosa Donald is single, but she's certainly not sitting at
home inside of her telling our podcast that the comedian
and talk show legend has now been spotted out on
a handful of dates while spending time in Dunbleln. Apparently
she's loving the sexy Irish accents and having a good time.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
I love it, Oh, I love this. I want everyone
to find some happiness. Rosie is sixty three. She left America.
It's amazing when you go to a new place. You
shake up all your routine, so everything that you used
to do, which is pretty much for me and I
am sitting on the couch. Suddenly, when you're in a
new place, you start to go ad more. You start
to meet new Paul. Paul. You may be you're a
little bit more friendly at the coffee shop. And so
Rosie over there is not as big a star as

(17:41):
she was here so New York, she's Rosy o'donald. In Ireland,
she's like another fabulous Irish lasson. So she's loving the accent.
She's loving the ladies. The ladies are loving her. She's
based in Dublin. It has a huge gay scene in Dublin.
I've been to a few gay bars in Dublin. They're
totally fun, a really great vibe. Rosie. We are sending

(18:01):
you our love to a loo loolo. She listens to
the show. So, Rosie, I expect a little text for
me to talk about it. Okay, I know is the day?
Not is the day? Is Scooter Braun So you know
that name. He used to marriage Justin Bieber and then
he got into trouble with Taylor Swift when he sold
or bought her masters behind her back, is what she claims. Well,
now he's dating Sidney Sweeney, who you might know from

(18:24):
White Lotus. They're together, but insideers tell me it's business
as well as pleasure. So Scooter is interested in dating Sydney.
They are together. However, he would really like to be
her manager. He would like to guide her through this business,
this crazy career. You know, he probably is a good manager.
Let's not forget that he did represent Ariana Grande Demi

(18:44):
Levado and I said Justin Bieber, so he knows what
he's doing. However, to go into a relationship a romantic
relationship with business on the mind not the best way
to start. I'm very skeptical about this, and I'm very
skeptical about him, Scooter. If you're listening low, okay, let's
end with a moment of rub. You get a rubb
you get a rub. You got rub, You get rub.

(19:05):
If you're searching for the one person who will change
your life, look in the mirror. Stop waiting for someone
to save you. Stop expecting a partner, a friend, a mentor,
or a perfect opportunity to do all the heavy lifting.
The person you've been waiting for. It's you. Look in
the mirror. Do it right now. Look in the mirror.

(19:25):
That's the one person who can turn it all around.
You are your own game changer. You are your own rescue.
Once again, If you're searching for that one person to
change your life, I promise you it's you. Hey. That
is it for today. Thank you so much for listening
