the show. Okay, let's jump in today show. What time
is it, my friends? It is tea time. A big,
big story at the top of the show. So naughty
Prince Andrew and the very very strict Princess Anne are
secretly loving Meghan's Netflix show, but the core for they
(01:12):
will not watch. So it turns out that not every
royal is ignoring Meghan's new Netflix comeback season two. While
the King, King Charles Quin, Camiller, Prince William, and Kate
have moved on completely from all the Sussex drama. Palace
insiders tell me that there are a few other members
(01:33):
of the family who have quietly tuned in to season two.
This makes me giggle so much, and so one of
the nice things about this trip. It's lovely to see
my mom and my family, but it's been a difficult,
a difficult trip. But one of the lovely things is
all my royal sources, all my friends, all the people
I went to university with or school with, or friends
(01:55):
that I grew up with, some of which now I
work at the palace. Oh, I've been texting all day,
all weeks. I've got some great royal news. And it
turns out, quote Prince Andrew was a huge fan of
Meghan show. He's binge watched the whole thing, and he
thinks Meghan comes across as pretty relatable. He's even joking
(02:17):
that this is the best thing on Netflix since The Crown.
But maybe most surprising of all is Princess Anne, the
famously no nonsense royal, told friends that she thinks the
Lifestyle show is quote the best comedy on Telly Vision.
So Anne doesn't take this show seriously. It's light entertainment.
(02:38):
She's giggling at it. And so we have two different
royalt here. Anne who is mocking it a little bit,
looking down a nose a little bit seeing a member
of her family do a TV show with something that's
very alien to Princess Anne. Andrew's trouble and so Andrew's
looking at this through the eyes of a rebel. That's
who Andrew thinks he is. He's done nothing wrong, and

he probably has great sympathy for Megan had the press
has treated her, because he thinks the press has not
treated him right either. We always approach things through our eyes.
If you like a TV show, if you like a celebrity,
if you like a politician, it actually tells you more
about you than them. You always want to find somebody
(03:23):
who reflects, who echoes your values, your feelings. And so
I'm not sure if this is good company for Meghan.
I know Prince Andrew certainly is not your company, but
Princess Anne is pretty terrific. But they are watching it,
of course they are. If a member of your family.
Think of somebody in your family, even somebody that you
don't like, if they got their own TV show, wouldn't
(03:46):
you be curious. Wouldn't you want to have a little
bit of a watch if your nemesis, if someone you
didn't like was on TV or had a book or
a new project, you would peek at it. It's like
on Facebook. Facebook, we don't look up the people we
really love. We look up all those people that annoyed
us at school. That ex boyfriend, that ex girlfriend. That's

what's happening here. It's a curiosity factor for Anne and
certainly for Andrew, but not for the King. I was
told they broke this story last year that King Charles William,
Kate and the Queen did watch a little bit of
the show. They're curious too. Even though he's a king,
he's a prince, a princess and a queen. They're still
human beings and they were very curious. They wanted to

see what Meghan was up to. Kate now is doing
a little bit more TV. She has a charity concert
every Christmas, and so she was curious, and Meghan's an actress.
Meghan knows how to do this. They spent a lot
of time with Meghan and Harry, and so they were
just naturally nosy. I love that word nosy. I'm a
nosy person. A nice way of saying it is curious.

And so, yes, they did watch a little bit of
season one, but they've not gone back for season two,
and I think that's actually sadly true for a lot
of people. The ratings are not not good. Season one
was okay, not by any means a Netflix blockbuster, not
one hundred million dollars deal worth a programming. It wasn't
huge like The Crown or those other great Netflix shows. However,
(05:15):
this season not as much. So it's not only King
Charles and the Queen and William and Kate who have
not returned for season two. A lot of us have
not gone back. And so insiders are telling me the
core four, that's what they called them, King, Queen, William, Kate,
the Core four have bigger priorities. They see the series
(05:36):
as irrelevant. It's almost background noise. They saw some of
part one. They were curious they saw it, but they're
not going to go back for anymore. Still, Meghan might
be pleased to know that at least she has two
very unlikely Royal fans for very different reasons. An is
mocking this a little bit. She thinks it's a little
below the Royal family to do a TV show. Prince
(05:57):
Andrew's looking at it for a very different his own eyes,
thinking that this is a way maybe forward for him.
I'm sure Andrew now is thinking about his own TV shows,
which will never happen, but he's arrogance. It is so
so big, as one Palace insider put it, and it
really really summed it up for me. They said, Meghan
(06:18):
may not have won back the firm, that's what they
call the Royal family, the firm, but she's got Anne
and Andrew hooked. Which brings us to our pole question
of the day. King Charles, Queen ca and Miller, Prince William,
and even Kate Middleton. They're not watching season two of
Meghan's news show. My question is quite simple today. It's
(06:40):
not about the Royals. It's about you naughties. Are you watching?
Did you watch it? I watched the whole thing, but
part of that is my job. I do this for
a living. I'm a royal commentator, a royal historian, a
royal journalist, and so I watched it because it's part
of the job, and I enjoyed it. It's not great.
Sometimes it's a little bit boring, if the truth be told.

And so it's beautifully shot, she looks fabulous. Production values
are glorious, which is actually a little bit makes me
a bit nervous because it's very expensive. This show is
not a cheap, cheap show. There are shows on the
Food Network that are much much cheaper to produce, and
so this show is really luxurious, lots of money, a
big set. It's not shot in her kitchen, which is
(07:23):
part of the problem. She pretends it's her kitchen, but
it's not. It's a set. It's somebody else's home. And
so the show's so expensive, I'm not sure enough people
watch to make it worthwhile. If you're going to spend
that much money, then you need to get millions and
millions of viewers. That's why the Housewives do so well.
They're really cheap. The shows are so cheap, so the
fact that nobody watches them anymore doesn't really matter, because

they're really really cheap. When shows are expensive and nobody watches,
that's when they come to an end. So our question

to me, this is bigger than Bezos. So Jeff Bezos
just got married to Lauren Sanchez, this wedding of Taylor
Swift and Travis Kelsey is going to be even bigger.
They just announced their engagement in Hollywood, New York. It's

already in a frenzy. Insiders are telling me their wedding
is already shaping up to be the hottest ticket on Earth.
If you thought getting a ticket to the Heiress Tour
was difficult, then forget getting into this wedding. It is
going to be impossible. On top publicist told me quote,
this is bigger than Jeff Bezos's wedding. Agent managers, publicists
(08:53):
are all calling begging to get their clients on the
guest list. Everyone wants to be seen at this wedding.
Sources say, this scramble is unprecedented. They've not seen this before.
A listeners are lobbying behind the scenes to get an invite.
One insider Tommy quote, we're talking Oscar winners, chart topping singers,

Grammy winners, tech moguls, even politicians. If you're not at
Taylor and Travis's wedding, are you going to be relevant
at all? And that's how big this couple is. And
it's not just about being a guest. Sources say major
talent pop stars are lining up to perform, offering their

services for free. If you hire Elton John or Lady
Gaga for a wedding, it's going to cost you maybe
four or five six million dollars. Taylor Swift, everybody wants
to perform at her wedding because if they do, they're
suddenly cool. They're suddenly Taylor's favorite art is their favorite
favorite band. So their records are going to fly off
the shelves, They'll be played on the radio. And there

is already a way to list of artists offering to
sing at the reception. Who will she pick? I think
Sabrina Carpenter is somebody ed shearing, But I'm told that
these are her friends, so they don't want to sing
for their supper. Going to a wedding and have to
having to work, that's not a fun thing at all.
My husband, Bruce know, it's a lot of singers. He's

a songwriter, a Grammy Award winning songwriter. At our wedding,
we did not want any one of Bruce's friends singing.
It just would have been so weird to invite someone
to your wedding and then expect them to get up
and sing some of Bruce's songs or their own songs.
And it just didn't look good. And I'm told Taylor
is on the same same path as Rob Shooter. Look,

you don't say that very often to him. Maybe that's
the only time in my life I'm going to say that.
But Taylor, it's good advice. Listen to your friend rub
Alollo La Hello, Hello, don't invite your friends to perform there.
Ed Ed Shearing's a really close friend of Taylor's with
he won't be performing. Will he be at the wedding?
Maybe maybe not. That's another big story. I just broke

that they are shopping for homes. They're true, but I

they're going to end up in New York. Her her
life is based really in LA New York Nashville to
some extent, but they're the entertainment capital of the world,
LA New York. She already has homes in LA and
New York. He's not going to move into her home.
They're going to get a home together. Maybe for now,
he's been staying at her place, but they are looking

at homes in New York. It's going to be their
home base. He's expected to retire from the NFL even
as soon as after this upcoming season, but he won't
be slowing down. Insiders are telling me that Travis is
looking to a new career in entertainment, with projects based
in both New York and Los Angeles and insider. A
Hollywood insider tells me quote, Travis has the chrisma to

go from the field to the screen. He has had
offers ranging from sports commentary or I can see that,
to hosting gigs and even acting roles. The world is
his oyster at the moment, arguably one of the most
famous people in the world. He was always a star
and he made a lot of money, but now being
engaged to Taylor Swift, it's a different level of fame.

He's getting huge offers. Michael Straham from Good Morning America
he was a football player too, so there is a
history here of people crossing over. He's going to be based,
He's going to be working in New York, LA, so
it only makes sense that that's where their home will be.
Taylor's got a billion dollars. They can have ten houses.
She has already a massive portfolio of homes she loves

New York. I've seen her around New York City where
I live. I'm not I'm in the UK at the moment.
I'm not in New York. But I have seen Taylor
in New York. She loves the city. She has a hotspots,
she knows the restaurants, she likes at the bar she
goes to. And so they're going to end up in
New York pretty great or la. But I think they
might have a country home to somewhere, somewhere in the South,

somewhere where they can go and have peace. Okay, this
story made me really, really worried and angry and upset,
all the feelings I got because Taylor Swift and Blake's
Blake Lively's friendship is still over. The engagement did not
bring them back together. A source of mind told me
that Blake still loves Taylor, and they thought that the

engagement news it's so big. It's such a massive story.
When a friend of yours gets engaged, even if you
fell out with them, sometimes you think about them. Maybe
you send the notes, maybe you pick up the phone.
I wondered, would this be the start of mending this
friendship inside us? Tell me, no, it's over. People close

to Taylor thought there might be an olive branch. They
thought Blake might reach out and say congratulations, and engagement
is such a happy milestone. Everybody assumed Blake would reach
out directly. She's still got Taylor's email, she didn't change
her email, still got Taylor's phone number. She can DM her,
she can get in touch with Taylor. But so far

there's been nothing. Oh, Blake, I might have used this
as an opportunity to say sorry, to reach out these
big life events. I know that a friend of mine
a couple of years ago I had a falling out
or a friend fell out with me, probably right late Lisa.
I wasn't paying them enough attention. And when her father died,
I reached out to her one of those mild stone moments,

one of those big cornerstones foundations of life, and that's
what changes everything. So I thought maybe Blake would would

but he has been talking, and so is he the

new Thomas Markle? Is this gonna ruin the relationship? Is
this gonna put a cloud over this really happy moment?
Once again? He's not done out of any malice. It
is not done because Ed is angry or looking for
a paycheck or even looking for attention. It's just a
new level of fame. Can you imagine if you became

a superstar, who in your family with the press call,
they'd call everybody? Would your mom speak, would your dad speak?
And not because they don't love you, They're proud of you.
If you super super, super famous and successful parents, that's
a big, big deal. And so they do talk. But

percent said no, he's not yet. I know that Taylor's people,
Travis's people are talking with it. They're trying to help
him negotiate this, navigate this new world where his son

reporters call, and they will, they're not going to stop.

je Hollywood Big Week. Someone very major in Hollywood said
to me, this is bigger than Bezos. So Jeff Bezos
just got married to Lauren Sanchez, this wedding of Taylor
Swift and Travis Kelsey is going to be even bigger.
They just announced their engagement in Hollywood, New York. It's
(08:30):
already in a frenzy. Insiders are telling me their wedding
is already shaping up to be the hottest ticket on Earth.
If you thought getting a ticket to the Heiress Tour
was difficult, then forget getting into this wedding. It is
going to be impossible. On top publicist told me quote,
this is bigger than Jeff Bezos's wedding. Agent managers, publicists
(08:53):
are all calling begging to get their clients on the
guest list. Everyone wants to be seen at this wedding.
Sources say, this scramble is unprecedented. They've not seen this before.
A listeners are lobbying behind the scenes to get an invite.
One insider Tommy quote, we're talking Oscar winners, chart topping singers,
(09:15):
Grammy winners, tech moguls, even politicians. If you're not at
Taylor and Travis's wedding, are you going to be relevant
at all? And that's how big this couple is. And
it's not just about being a guest. Sources say major
talent pop stars are lining up to perform, offering their
(09:36):
services for free. If you hire Elton John or Lady
Gaga for a wedding, it's going to cost you maybe
four or five six million dollars. Taylor Swift, everybody wants
to perform at her wedding because if they do, they're
suddenly cool. They're suddenly Taylor's favorite art is their favorite
favorite band. So their records are going to fly off
the shelves, They'll be played on the radio. And there

is already a way to list of artists offering to
sing at the reception. Who will she pick? I think
Sabrina Carpenter is somebody ed shearing, But I'm told that
these are her friends, so they don't want to sing
for their supper. Going to a wedding and have to
having to work, that's not a fun thing at all.
My husband, Bruce know, it's a lot of singers. He's
(10:19):
a songwriter, a Grammy Award winning songwriter. At our wedding,
we did not want any one of Bruce's friends singing.
It just would have been so weird to invite someone
to your wedding and then expect them to get up
and sing some of Bruce's songs or their own songs.
And it just didn't look good. And I'm told Taylor
is on the same same path as Rob Shooter. Look,

you don't say that very often to him. Maybe that's
the only time in my life I'm going to say that.
But Taylor, it's good advice. Listen to your friend rub
Alollo La Hello, Hello, don't invite your friends to perform there.
Ed Ed Shearing's a really close friend of Taylor's with
he won't be performing. Will he be at the wedding?
Maybe maybe not. That's another big story. I just broke

moving along more Travis Kelsey news. He's eyeing an entertainment
career as Taylor and Travis plan to make New York
City their home base. So there's some stories out there
that they are shopping for homes. They're true, but I
think the location might not be accurate. Sources tell me

they're going to end up in New York. Her her
life is based really in LA New York Nashville to
some extent, but they're the entertainment capital of the world,
LA New York. She already has homes in LA and
New York. He's not going to move into her home.
They're going to get a home together. Maybe for now,
he's been staying at her place, but they are looking
(12:04):
at homes in New York. It's going to be their
home base. He's expected to retire from the NFL even
as soon as after this upcoming season, but he won't
be slowing down. Insiders are telling me that Travis is
looking to a new career in entertainment, with projects based
in both New York and Los Angeles and insider. A
Hollywood insider tells me quote, Travis has the chrisma to
(12:27):
go from the field to the screen. He has had
offers ranging from sports commentary or I can see that,
to hosting gigs and even acting roles. The world is
his oyster at the moment, arguably one of the most
famous people in the world. He was always a star
and he made a lot of money, but now being
engaged to Taylor Swift, it's a different level of fame.
(12:48):
He's getting huge offers. Michael Straham from Good Morning America
he was a football player too, so there is a
history here of people crossing over. He's going to be based,
He's going to be working in New York, LA, so
it only makes sense that that's where their home will be.
Taylor's got a billion dollars. They can have ten houses.
She has already a massive portfolio of homes she loves
(13:10):
New York. I've seen her around New York City where
I live. I'm not I'm in the UK at the moment.
I'm not in New York. But I have seen Taylor
in New York. She loves the city. She has a hotspots,
she knows the restaurants, she likes at the bar she
goes to. And so they're going to end up in
New York pretty great or la. But I think they
might have a country home to somewhere, somewhere in the South,
(13:33):
somewhere where they can go and have peace. Okay, this
story made me really, really worried and angry and upset,
all the feelings I got because Taylor Swift and Blake's
Blake Lively's friendship is still over. The engagement did not
bring them back together. A source of mind told me
that Blake still loves Taylor, and they thought that the
(13:57):
engagement news it's so big. It's such a massive story.
When a friend of yours gets engaged, even if you
fell out with them, sometimes you think about them. Maybe
you send the notes, maybe you pick up the phone.
I wondered, would this be the start of mending this
friendship inside us? Tell me, no, it's over. People close
(14:17):
to Taylor thought there might be an olive branch. They
thought Blake might reach out and say congratulations, and engagement
is such a happy milestone. Everybody assumed Blake would reach
out directly. She's still got Taylor's email, she didn't change
her email, still got Taylor's phone number. She can DM her,
she can get in touch with Taylor. But so far
(14:38):
there's been nothing. Oh, Blake, I might have used this
as an opportunity to say sorry, to reach out these
big life events. I know that a friend of mine
a couple of years ago I had a falling out
or a friend fell out with me, probably right late Lisa.
I wasn't paying them enough attention. And when her father died,
I reached out to her one of those mild stone moments,

one of those big cornerstones foundations of life, and that's
what changes everything. So I thought maybe Blake would would
reach ad So far, nothing not a call, not an email,

we get sources. We try to meet with people, talk

out to Ed. My question was, is Ed the new
Thomas Markle? Now let me remind you Thomas Markle is
Megan Markles? Not was? Is Megan Markles a strange father?
She doesn't speak to them him. They had a huge
falling out when he started to sell stories to the press.
Ed has not been doing that. He's not been selling stories,
but he has been talking, and so is he the

new Thomas Markle? Is this gonna ruin the relationship? Is
this gonna put a cloud over this really happy moment?
Once again? He's not done out of any malice. It
is not done because Ed is angry or looking for
a paycheck or even looking for attention. It's just a
new level of fame. Can you imagine if you became
(16:50):
a superstar, who in your family with the press call,
they'd call everybody? Would your mom speak, would your dad speak?
And not because they don't love you, They're proud of you.
If you super super, super famous and successful parents, that's
a big, big deal. And so they do talk. But
our question was, is Ed the new Thomas Markle Let's

have a look call? Twenty percent said yes, So eighty
percent said no, he's not yet. I know that Taylor's people,
Travis's people are talking with it. They're trying to help
him negotiate this, navigate this new world where his son
is on the cover of every magazine, is on the
nightly news, and so Ed for the time being, if
reporters call, and they will, they're not going to stop.

It's their jarba. I respect them for calling forward that
call to Taylor's pr don't answering, my friend, don't do it? Okay,

and warm and charming, and she will always think he
is great. But she's not going to respond to this.
She's in a really different place, taking the high road.

a whole brand on how to kick catch a rich
older man. This is gonna be her thing man. Part
of me thinks, you know what, We've already said this
about her, so why not make some money from it.

Part of me thinks, ugh, it's just shameless, shameless, shameless.
When did love? When did romance, even unconventional love, even
love with massive age differences? When did it become a
business venture? I think I blame the Kardashians for all
of this and not is the day. Let's end with

someone tells you it can't be done, what they really
mean is they can't do it. Their limits are not
