Speaker 2 (00:25):
Donnie, are you know hell a living blow?

Speaker 4 (00:29):
Oh it's Wednesday, my goodness, and today's a very special
they it is a very special day. So I am
it's my day.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
And no, it's Rob Shooter's birthday. It is our captain,
my captain. It is his birthday. Everybody all at once,
let's stay together.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Happy birthday, Rob.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Oh, thank you doing that's so sweet. It is my birthday.
So if you see three wives men walking down the
avenue today on their way to my apartment with Frankinsons
and Burr and I'm not sure what the other one is,
but yes, it is my birthday. Thank you for all
the lovely messages, all the love I feel it. And Donna,
you're the lucky co host it gets to spend with.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
You know what the third one is, it's Frankinson and
Murr and a copy of the five.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Word in that's what that's what it is is MRR
and a copy of the You've been so sweet.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
It's the fore word answer, Oh, thank you, well you try.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
Added the word because I'm throwing in something little seess.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
It is the foreword answer. Yes, gosh, you've got me
doubting myself. Okay, let's jump into the show. What time
is it? My friends and time take story at the
top of the show. So Selena Gomez whyn't say I
do with that Taylor Swift. So her wedding plans are
coming up, and it's really pretty much based around the
Queen's schedules. The sources are saying she's planning the most
important day of her life. But sources are saying her

(02:03):
top priority it's not the flowers or the cake, Donnie,
it's Taylor Swift's RSVP. Insiders are saying that Selena and
Benny I like these two together, are deep into planning
a September wedding. We know it's September in Montecito, all
very very nice, but they are not moving ahead until
they know Taylor Swift is available on that date. We've

(02:25):
got a little bit of good news here. It does
look like she is available. She will be there. She
adores Selena. They are more than friends. They are best
friends at first, this sounds odd, doesn't it. It sounds
as if she's delaying all her happiness, all all her
marriage proposals, and that big, beautiful day. It sounds like

(02:46):
she's delaying all that for a superstar. But that's not
exactly the way to think about it. They're best friends.
Would you want to get married without your best friend
being there? If you've got somebody in your family, you
do plan this. It's not like just a couple pick
a date. You check to see if your parents are available,
if your brothers and sisters are available. So why not

(03:07):
check on your best friend too. I know that this
headline is going to blow up and people are going
to be like, oh my god, hypathetic, poor Benny. It's Taylor.
So if Taylor Swift Taylor Swift, that isn't the way
that I see this. I see this as two friends
and they want they want to be there for each other,
and they're both really, really busy. But when I got married,

(03:28):
before I picked the day, I made sure my mom
and dad were around and my sisters, and so I
sort of do get this study where are you? Oh?

Speaker 4 (03:38):
I get this one hundred percent because I'm assuming and
this is on me I am assuming that Taylor will
be a bride'smaid or will be maybe even the maid
of honor, or like you know, the number one bride'smaid,
and you would obviously want to make sure that person
is there and it's available, because it's not like, you know,

(03:59):
our friend word.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Just happened to be, like can you get the day
off of.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Work or can you you know, the weekend, what are
you doing that weekend?

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Make sure you're available. She could be on a global tour.
She could you know, she could be very it's very different.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
We have, you know, very different lines, very.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Different schedule lives.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
The thing is when you're getting married, because honestly, this
wedding probably will be.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
A small affair, That's what I'm hearing.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
And so if you're having a small affair, you would
But it's in Monastito.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
So maybe Oprah.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Will be there, maybe Megan Megan and Harry.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Prince and Megan will be there, but you never know.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
I don't think the thing is she's not a star,
you know the words, but she's friends with one of
the biggest stars in the world. But Selena doesn't turn
up at all these events. She doesn't getzos wedding I'm
sure she could have she wanted to. It's not a thing.
So I think this day is going to be a
real day of friends and family, and it just so
happens one of her friends is an international superstar. I

(05:03):
think Taylor will want to blend in here. I don't
think she's going to rock up with security and sunglasses
and an entourage. I think it's gonna be her and Travis.
They're going to have a really beautiful day. They went
to a wedding one of Travis's cousins got married, and
they tried to just blend in. Unfortunately, somebody there I
would like to believe it wasn't a wedding guest and

(05:23):
not a relative, but maybe a staff member. They did
post a picture or a picture or as leaked. I
think that people are going to treat this really really
is what it is, which is just a beautiful day.
It is Selina's day, it is not Taylor's day. But
I do understand her wanting to be there. Do you
think she might they might sing a duet, or Taylor
might get on stage or what do you think? Or

(05:46):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
I don't think a duet because Selida is a very
talented young woman. Singing live is not her strong suit,
and so I think you would not one day do
that on your wedding day.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Will know the date? I don't. I think we'll know
after it happened.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
September market calendars everybody. If she's not reached out to
you and you're a close friend, September is going to
be the date. There was some pay that's right in Montecita.
We know Taylor will be there. I'm sure Travis will too,
which brings us to our whole question of the day.
Selena Gomez won't say I do without Taylor Swift? Is
this a mistake? Isn't a mistake to give so much

(06:31):
power to a friend about your wedding? Or is that
the wrong way to look at it? Is this just
two girlfriends, two people who love each other, who want
to be there to support each other, and they happen
to be both very very busy. I think it's just
the scheduling thing, and thankfully they've sorted that. I but
what do you think? Is it a mistake? Go vote

(06:52):
on arid page at Naughty Nice rob Our facebook page
is naughty gussib and sure to check better. Maraua to
hear your results. Hey Donnie Love, what are you working on.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Another shooter exclusively? Yeah, so Blake live, these.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Court room comforts are raising eyebrows, and just about Donnie's
team is saying that justice is looking a little different
for the famous. So Blake Lely has a deposition on
this Thursday, which is tomorrow, and a judges ruled actually

(07:28):
that she can give her deposition from her attorney's office
because worried about you know, chaos in the courtroom and
about Donnie's team is not happy, very upset, calling it
blatant celebrity privilege, saying this isn't just about security, it's
stardom working overtime now. And Justin's team on Thursday says

(07:54):
that they are going to they have damning evidence, like
they are ready, and Blake's team's like, girl, by this
is your last shot. Because honestly, I think this is
Justin's team has had a lot of losses and a
lot of stepbacks.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
I think this is it for them.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
I think this is this deposition is going to be
a massive though. I do think it's interesting if you
do a deposition, if you know anybody that's had to
do on you go to the other team's lawyers. You
don't normally do it at your own legal representative's office,
and so there is a little bit of special attention there,
special treatment there. It's not the norm. Let's put it
like that. It does happen, but it's not the law norm.

(08:33):
And I'm not quite sure why going to Justin's lawyer's
office would be dangerous but going to her own lawyer's
office would not. They're both really fancy lawyers. They both
have really lovely, lovely law offices. It's not as if
one of them is in a dangerous neighborhood or if
one of them happens to be outside a celebrity pap
of Razi agency. That's not the case. They're both office blocks.

(08:57):
I think this is just a little bit of a
power move. It's like if you fall out with a
friend and you want to meet up, go to a
neutral place, like, don't do it on my turf or
your turf. That's what this is about. It feels like
a West Side Story turf war. But Blake Wan Blake
got her own way. She was meant to go to
morrow to Justin Baldoni's lawyer's office, and she said no,

(09:19):
he can come to me and we'll meet at my
lawyer's office. And I did not think she would win this.
I thought they'd say, don't be ridiculous, go and do
your deposition. But oh no, no, no, Blake has won.
I think because of the Diddy trial is so fresh
in our minds. I do worry sometimes that there's special justice,
a different justice for people who are rich, people who

(09:41):
are famous. It does feel to me as if we're
not all playing here by the same rules, and that
makes me very angry, makes me very very sad, and
I want this to be fair. I'm not trying to
put my from on the scales here. This trial is
going to be really important. It's going to devastate one
of them. Either he's sexually abused her, which is what

(10:01):
she's claiming, or he didn't, which is what he's claiming.
And so I want to get to the bottom of it.
And I think the only way we will ever trust
believe the outcome is if the process seems to be fair.
And this doesn't really feel fair. I know, it's a
little thing, it's not a big deal. It's a rum.

(10:22):
It's nothing about the actual trial. It's where you give
your deposition, but normally she would go to his lawyers.
Not happening.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Yeah, Well, the thing is is, actually I literally just
watched this movie again two nights ago because I just
everything going on about it.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
And what's overshadowed is.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
It's a darn goodness, I think good movie. That is
the part that's overshadowed.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
In the second one's part two they were going to make.
I couldn't wait for it. At the end of this.
Oh my goodness, there's another book. Justin's got the rights
to it. This should have been an absolute feather in
the cap of Justin. And this is Blake's biggest movie financially,
I think She's ever had. And so all of this,

(11:06):
how did it get so bad? Now she's saying it
got so bad because he's sexually harassed me. That's very
very powerful and very very important, and we need to
find out the truth. But once again, we're only going
to find out the truth if we were only going
to believe the truth if we go through what we
consider a fair process. Okay, moving along, Prince Harry just

(11:27):
blew the peace talk. So we told you, Prince Harry's
Harris and the King's reps got together in London for
a chat. Harry's loose lips have already got him in
trouble inside to say that the Palace think he or
his team are behind the leak. They didn't meet in
a very public place. It wasn't like they went to

(11:48):
Nobu or the Ivy in la where all the photographers
sit outside. It wasn't as if they went somewhere really
really public. No, no, no, this was just the private
meeting and they couldn't figure out how does the press know?
And now they believe Harry Harry, they can't help themselves.
Harry leaked it. Now. The one thing that the Palace

(12:09):
does not excuse his leaks. They can't trust him. They
just feel like they can not trust him. We root
for Megan and Harry. We're not hate us here on
the Naughty but niho, but you got to be responsible
and you've got to have consequences of your own behavior
and to leak this if you did. It's very hard though, too, Donnie,

(12:30):
because we are in this business. Often who you think
is the leak, it's not. It's somebody else, So be careful.
He because we don't know if Harry leaked it, but
I guess after Oprah and the book, and you know
there's a long history here of them providing information to
the press. So I think next time, if there even
is another peace talks, don't tell anybody sh what do

(12:52):
you think we see?

Speaker 4 (12:53):
This is the thing, though we all have it with
our friends and family members, is once you do one thing,
once you do so think every time that happens, regardless
if if you were not in our heads, we're going
to think that it's you. So it doesn't matter anytime.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
It could be the it could have been.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
The barista the palace, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
But if the barista's name was har Rena, guess what,
it was Harry who gave away the thing. Because that's
just how it's going to be from now on, and
it doesn't matter anything that gets out, it's immediately going
to be it was Harry. And it's like, well, no,
it wasn't Harry, because look, I don't think Harry's stupid
enough to do it this time around.

Speaker 1 (13:35):
I think maybe he might have, you.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
Know, because Harry's a he's a millennial's he's hip, but
he's cool.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
He might have told one of his pals. He might
have been he got me again. And then his pals.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
I find in this business, it's not who you tell,
it's who they tell. So I tell my five for
really close friends, my secrets. They don't. It's it's who
they tell that that makes me nervo tell. That's who tells.
It's always one step away, it's.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Never I want to know more.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
King Gail on the phone. Okay, quickly before we get
a break. Nicholas Cage is now revealing why Sarah, Jessica
Parker and Nicholas didn't really make it. They dated for
a moment. Sarah has confirmed that but didn't work out.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Why.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
Well, you know what, Nick, let's maybe a little maybe
a little wishful thing here, but you know what, I
gotta give Nicholas Cage some credit where credits.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
It wasn't his personality.

Speaker 4 (14:35):
It wasn't the way he treated her. It wasn't because
maybe he showed up late for their date at the
Russian Tea Room. We've been to the Russian Tea Room.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
We have a friend who went to the room.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
And then so ideo he says it was because of
his leather jacket and his sign.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
It was not.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
It wasn't because there was a bad conversation it wasn't
because of maybe she had to pick up the bill
because she.

Speaker 1 (15:03):
Was star this story. No no, no jacket. In my sight,
you better story in a way.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
What were you sniffing away at? He also did say though,
that her mom was there. It wasn't just the two
of them on that want. She brought the mom and
he doesn't think the mom really lund him. So maybe
that's when I think he still is. Okay, we're going
to take a quick break and we will be right back.
Welcome back to the nort even I show you host

(15:33):
of Shoot for the Dear Friend, Donny mecham Hey, Donny,
let's get to the polls that they are. We talked
about a new blossoming friendship between Rosie and Ellen and
yesterday on the show, do you like these two as friends?
Maybe they could do a comedy tour together. They're both out, gay,
strong women, they're both comedians, they are a similar age.
This seems like a good friendship fit to me. Do

(15:54):
you like this new friendship? Sixty nine percent said yes,
you do. I think I do too. Hey, don't forget
to vote on today's Paul, We'll get our Twitter page.
I had naughty nice rob our Facebook page is naughty Gussip.
But I'm sure to check back down Maraua to hear
your results. And now it's time for a nicest of

(16:14):
the day.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
All the nice said, they is missed the Bruno Omar
Lovers and Little Cheeky a little funny. And so he
was at a surprise Black Pain show, which is K
pop a band.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
So he showed up.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
He popped up the little surprise performance with them. Well,
he went to Instagram and he so. Rumors forever ago
were that he was in debt the tune of like
fifty million dollars with MGM.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
It was a crazy that he did not eat time,
but it.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
Was crazy crazy.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
Well, he did a capture on Instagram saying almost out
of debt baby, which is hilarious because it's him.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
It's very tongue in.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
It's funny.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
It's very fun because MGM insisted he was not in
dead at the time. He earned one point five million
dollars a night.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
He was earning money. He wasn't losing money.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
He did that for like ten years. He did that
residence ten years. This is no like he didn't do
it like a weekend. He made three million dollars ten years,
so it's funny.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
I like this.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
He's because the joke here is that he did the
Black Pink Show, so he's saying that he got.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Paid to do the show. So he's all funny. It's
tongue in cheek.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
Yes, it's funny. I like it. Make fun of yourselves.
Everybody when a story, when somebody says something to me
that you don't like, the best way to respond is
with mega make fun of yourself, make fun of Meghan
enough not other people take a cue. Make funny. I
really like him and nicest of the day. And I
noticed that Jenna and Cardige. Jenna didn't go to the
their half brother's wedding. So Brodie Jenna got married. He's

(17:54):
a forty one year old reality style. We haven't seen
him very much, but he got married in in California
in my but he's half sisters. That's who they are.
The half sisters Kendall and Kylie didn't show up. They
were invited. They claimed that they bailed because they didn't
want to overshadow it. Who do they think they are?
If Taylor Swift can go to a wedding, you two

(18:16):
are going to be fine at the wedding inside of
say that Brady was crushed. And now what makes things
worse is that Kylie, who's in Greece, she found time
to go to Jeff Bezos's wedding. Member of Kendall was
at Jeff Bezos's wedding. Team. So you didn't go to
the wedding of a billionaire, but you can't go to
the wedding of your own own half brother. Ouch, and

(18:40):
what is the day, let's sayd with a moment of rob.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Yet you get a ride.

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Daunted by how many things I have failed at? I wasn't.
I'm not. I'm not daunted about it because failure doesn't
scare me, Donnie. What scares me is quitting. Every closed
door actually taught me something. Every awful setback me into
somebody stronger. Every no I've gotten, I got a lot
of nose I still do got me closer to the right. Yes,

(19:06):
I wasn't intimidated. I did the work and that's what
you have to keep doing. Don't be scared, don't be
daunted by how many times you fail. Be inspired because
if you keep showing up, eventually you roll. My friends
succeed failure. Failure is so important in life. I say

(19:30):
all the time, Darne, that the road to success is
paved with failure. The reason this podcast happened is a
success is because we never gave up. We were told no,
I pitched this to iHeart a decade ago. They said no,
I kept pitching. When we started the podcast. Initially it
was a disaster. Nobody was listening. It would have been

(19:53):
so easy to see we had about thirty forty listeners
and to stop. We didn't. We just capt I mean,
we got better. The word got out and now are
its success not because of just us, but because of
you Naughty's. You stuck with us and we kept going
together and I will always be grateful. Hey, that is
