Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice Shooters.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
It's nice. Hello, welcome to the not even nice Sham.
Your host from Shooter is Wednesday, which means our dear
friend Donny Meecham John says, Hey, Donnie, are you there Wednesdaynesday?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Wednesday? It's so good to see you? And it was
so good so ms D was here in l A
and Ah.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
I you know what, there is very few people in
this world who are just like truly special.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
She is.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
She's really just yeah, so genuinely sweet, like genuine.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I totally agree. I love that you two have found
each other. I love that you've become friends. She's just
the greatest. You're the gradiest too. There, Donnie, there's some
really nice people out there. You just gotta find them.
I had some really stinkers around me, so don't think
I'm lucky. I've done the work, still awful awful friends,
and now I have some really really good friends because

(01:09):
I made a choice. I just said I'm not going
to do that anymore. What I realized, too, is the
longer I held onto the stinkers, the less time I
had to actually find somebody who's really good. When you
find somebody really good, hold.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
On, I'd rather have two really good friends than ten.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Okay friends, yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, I totally totally agree. No,
she had a great time. The picture I loved and
talking to pictures. What a beautiful new piece of heart
I see above your shoulder, on your on your blue walls.
Very nice.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
And you know what this is the thing. Don't knock
it into your You know where I got that art?

Speaker 2 (01:42):
From nowhere?

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Out of somebody else's trash.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Somebody was throwing it away and I looked at it
and I said, gorgeoueous.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Why you love that?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Tell everybody you got it at the Whitney or the
Metropolitan Music. Oh, it looks like it could be there.
It's gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. What is it? It's a scene
of canal or.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
In Venice, the Venice Canal.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I'm painting the scene for everybody listening. Okay,
let's jump into the show. God damn is it? My friends?
It is tea time. So a big announcement. Taylor Swift
does have a new album. It's her twelfth twelve studio album,
and the way she decided to announce it is really interesting.
She did it on Travis Kelce's podcast, Now, Let's be
honest here. She could announce an album anywhere. She could

(02:25):
get on the Today Show, she could get on the
Tonight Show, she could do it on her own social
media page. She chose to do it on Travis Kelcey's show.
I'm told my inside as I hit the phone that
this was her decision. He's actually quite cautious about using
her celebrity, and he tries not to talk about it
too much on his podcast. He has a really successful podcast.

(02:46):
But if I was dating Taylor Swift, she'd be on
this podcast every day because I'd want the numbers. We
can make us a top ten podcast in the world
if you get Taylor Swift. I'm told he's been a
real gentleman about it. This was her decision, she asked.
She sort of approached him, I'm told, and was like,
would you mind if I came on yours? Would I mind?
It's gonna be great? And so I love that these

(03:09):
two are helping each other. I like too that he's
not taking advantage of her. There's a lot of people
who would We've seen this in celebrity relationships, haven't we. Donnie,
where you like, are you really in love? You're just
after the money, just after the power. Here, I think
these two are the real deals. The album sounds super,
super exciting. There has been a few leaks out there.

(03:29):
We see that she's going back to some really pop
pop composers. So this might be the old school Tailor
Dead Poet Society were really really smart, really great albums.
But I think we just want to dance. I think
the world is in such an awful place, we just
want to dance. It's interesting the revival of Mamma Mia
has opened on Broadway, Donnie. The numbers are through the roof.

(03:51):
It's one of the top shows, and I think that's
because everybody is desperate to just giggle and dance and
have a good time, to spend all that money. I
want to go time. There's so much darkness every time
I turn on the TV. I'm like, ah, So, I think,
once again, Taylor's right on the money, right on the
cultural moment. She knows how to time something. This album,

(04:12):
it looks like it's gonna be big anthems, big dance
pop albums. I would imagine very very share belief type songs.
I'm here for that. I think this sounds terrific, and
I like the way that she announced it. What do
you think hilarious?

Speaker 1 (04:28):
You said the Dead Poet Society, which is that movie
starring Robin Williams. It's the Tortured Poet's Department.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
It was, oh god, you got the wrong. It's both
were quite sad.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Because it can't be tricky when you mix, you know,
business and pleasure. Because Taylor, yes, granted it's her boyfriend's podcast,
she can say whatever she wants, she does have to
be very cautious about what she says, and he has
to be cautious about what air and what makes it,

(05:01):
and sometimes that conflict can go. I do she did
throw him a little bit of a bone because you know,
there is some you know, there are talks for contracts
for them to sell the podcast to a bigger company.
I think I think this could definitely help.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
I think that's going way that because this is going
to be it because this year is he's done in NFL.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
This is his last season. I mean, nik, he's on
the COQ. Yeah, so his ads on the cover of
GQ looking very sexy pictures inside. He is it, man,
There's no dat. He was always a star's He's always
been a star in his own right, but dating the
most famous person in the world has increased his star power.
Like you and me, we probably wouldn't know him were
not into sports people, and so this has changed that.

(05:49):
I know who Travis Kelsey is because he's dating Taylor Swift.
But it is tricky, isn't it. She do want to
help your partner, but at the same time, you don't
want to look like you're throwing them a bone, or
you don't want to look like it's patronized. But I
think somehow, when I watched this, I actually knew it
was going to happen. There's a lot of roomors out
there that it was going to happen. A source told
me this was going to happen, and it was her plan.

(06:09):
She runs her business. She has a team, she has
brilliant publicist, she has a brilliant manager, she has a team,
but she ultimately makes the decision. She's not one of
these week celebrities out there who just listen to their
payar team and what should I do. No, She's in
charge of this ship. It's her name. I have so
much mad respect for her, and she thought this would
be a really good way. And I've got to admit

(06:31):
any album from Taylor Swift would be big news, but
the fact she did it on a boyfriend's podcast, and
then there's video we can see the two of them flirting,
having fun together. They're even wearing the merchandise her from
her new album, I Love It Life of a show Girl.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
That's a different title for Taylor. It's a very flirty.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
But I think, to be quite frank, I think this
showed a more humanizing side.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Of Tabe because I think we all love her.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
She's but she is so big that it's like sometimes
you just think of her as she's God, which like
she's gonna like metaphorically, But it's like this show that
at the end of the day, you know, she poops,
at the end of the day, she goes, you know
what is it, She wakes up and she can be
a little cranky, you know what I'm saying, Like it

(07:25):
just this humanizes her. She does never really see her laughing, giggling,
having fun, right, not in a long time, not in
a decade or so.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
She doesn't. I think she's gonna go back to her roots.
I love the online hashtag Lola is trending a little bit.
Lola from Copacabana, the song that my husband Bruce Wright's
probably about the most famous show girl in the world.
Her name was Lola. She was a show girl. Wouldn't
it be lovely? If Copacabana's on this album? I don't
think it is. I would probably know about that already.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Does he still gonna check?

Speaker 2 (08:01):
It is such an exciting day. There's something about her.
The music business is not a business I'm particularly excited
about anymore. It really isn't. I miss albums. I don't
want to sound like an old fart here, but the
music business now is streaming and it's just this on
and not my thing anymore. Taylor Swift is one of
those few artists that I'm really looking forward. I'll get
this record when it's released, I'll go onto iTunes, I'll

(08:23):
pay my twelve bucks, I'll download it, and I'm really
looking forward to listen to the track after track after track.
She's old school, she's retro, and she doesn't take herself
too seriously. A lot of artists Madonna did this when
they got so serious, when she had to do American
Pie and all these very sort of very smart ones.
Remember when she wore a patch over a rye and

(08:44):
she went to, Oh, Madonna, I want tho, I want
into the groove. I want to give you to that
cone bra.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
I want to see you look like a cone.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Yes, I want that. And Taylor Swift probably won't give
us a cone bra, but she's gonna give us old
school tailor suit, which brings us to our whole question
of the day. Personally decided that of all the places
in the world, she could have done this anywhere. She
was going to release a new album details on Travis
Kelsey's podcast, wasn't a good idea? What do you think
working together with your partner good idea? Yes or no? Go?

time a Rahua to hear your results. Hey, Donnie Love,
what are you working on? Oh?

Speaker 1 (09:23):
Working on something?

Speaker 3 (09:24):
I got rob Shoote's best friend here, Bethany Franco. She's
got some dating drama, so she says that she's hesitant
to step back out on the dating pool.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
I say there's not a lot of people lining up
to dater AnyWho.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
With somebody, An exclusive source told Shooter Scoop, which would
be her ex It says that Bethany's in love with
Bethany and she can't love anyone else but Bethany.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
And you know what that tracks.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
That does, right. We've seen her, We've seen her on
reality TV shows try to find love. We've seen her
have these really volatile relationships. There's something going on here.
It's not just romantic relationships friendships. She fell out with
Jill Sarah, she felt out with Carol Razwell, she fell
out with Andy Cohen, she fell out with Rob Shooter.
There was a moment when I was like friendly with Bethany.
We'd go out for dinner and we'd hang out a

(10:21):
little bit, and then she turned on me. And I
don't know, but you think that if somebody gets older
and they get all that money and they get a
little wiser, that they mellow people are who they are.
Bethanye's first love is Bethany. It's reality TV, and that's
really off putting for a lot of people. I don't
think I could date a reality star. I just don't think.
I don't want to be on the show. I don't

(10:42):
want cameras in my apartment, and I don't want somebody
that that is their whole life. We know reality stars
Donny without naming names, although you can if you want,
they're not that nice. That's always about them, and anybody
that wants to be on a reality show, I'm always like, oh,
that's a red flag.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
The problem, to though, is just and this is in
life in general too.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
I've had friends that like this, and I've had friends
who admit it is that the self sabotage.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
But it's just it's.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
Intrinsically who they are, like they can't help it, and
so they like, I've had a friend and he actually
admitted that this has happened. He'll get friends, get really
good friends, and then somehow blow that friend circle up
and then move on to others. But realizes that he
does it but doesn't know why he does it, and
it's just self sabotaging.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Is yeah, I think people. I don't know if it's
like a confidence or lack of self love, but there's
good people out there. We open the show talking about you, mister.
It's so nice to have a good friend, it's so
nice to have a good boyfriend. It's so nice to
have a good relationship. And Bethany just isn't that person.
It tracks here. What he's really galling about it though,
is she's making TikTok videos about dating and how she

(11:54):
wants to date. And everybody that I know that knows
Ben and he are like this videos are ridiculous. Go
and get some therapy, get off TikTok, stop talking about dating,
and go and learn how to data and be a
better person. Okay, moving along, Harry and Megan have signed
an extension of their deal with Netflix. So there was
reports in cleaning my reporting that their deal was coming
to an end. It has come to an end, one

(12:15):
hundred million dollar deal. He's over. But they have signed
a new deal for just about ten million. That's a
big difference, now ten million donning, Oh.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Take it, Netflix, sign is up.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
I'm choking it. We would take the ten million. However,
if I was early one hundred million, times are changing.
What I'm told is going on here is that when
they first signed this deal, when they first left the family,
it was skyheight. We just didn't know how big this
couple would be. We thought they were going to be
George Clooney and a mall. We thought they were going
to be the next biggest stars in the world and

(12:49):
that didn't happen, and so the new price reflects the
new reality. It's not embarrassing. Ten million is a lot
of money, it's just not quite what they hoped for,
quite where they thought they were. It's tricky, isn't it
in life when you have to readjust your own image
of yourself.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Well, you know what this is the problem too though.
It was like, when you think, okay, ten million dollars
is to us is just I mean a staggering amount
of money. But when you have the life that they have,
ten million dollars goes fast and that's that's where you're like, it's.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
The difficulty, isn't it. Yeah, they live like their Oprah.
They live in Montecito, like they're worth hundreds of millions
of dollars, and they're not. They should be living in
a really nice my neighbor two bedroom through bedroom in Malibu,
which would probably be ten million dollars. Like they live
as if they're still in booking and palace. But that
money is not coming in. This has to be a
wake up moment. Now they've got to figure out the budget.

(13:48):
Although let's be honest, if they did make that hundred
million that's still a lot of money to having your
bank account. They didn't actually make it. It's all back end.
These are figures that you could potentially earn, but it's
all on bonuses. It's all on if you hit certain targets.
It's almost like working on commission. You could make a
million dollars working at maces, but you gotta sell a
lot of T shirts. Like it almost it's not gonna happen,

(14:10):
let's be honest. But like you could make one hundred
million dollars on Netflix if you have the top show,
and they didn't have that, and so to be honest,
they don't even have that hundred million, about ten million,
a lot of money, but they think they hoped that
they would be worth a lot more. Okay, quickly, before
we get a break, Jennifer Aniston is ready to tell
her side of the story, it seems about Brad Pitt

(14:31):
and Angelina Jolie. She's never ever spoken about this in
twenty years, Tony, not a word. Now she's finally opening
the door a little bit. What she got to say?

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Yes, she says she's actually ready to speak.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
About it and to talk about it. You know, obviously
there's some PTSD. I mean they all have, you know,
which is why she's been scared to kind of talk
about it in interviews. But also, you know, journalism has
changed a lot. You know this, and I know this.
You know it's there. Used used to be gutcha, gotcha,
used to be the way of journalism, but now celebrities

(15:04):
don't play with that anymore, even.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
Us as It's just that's a different time. Fine, it's
a different time.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Different, Yeah, the Perez Hilton type blogs of this world
that were just name calling and drawing pictures, rude pictures
on your face, like, I don't. I'm ashamed to admit
that was ever fun. I don't. I'm not sure it
ever was, but it felt like it was. Remember an
American idol and Simon Cowell would make fun of cleanly
people that had mental health issues and we'd sit there
and giggle. Not fun. Not fun anymore. So the times

(15:31):
have changed, and the sport of breakups and cheating and scandals, gosh,
I can't you know. Jen lived it. This was her life.
I can't imagine. She said she took it really personally,
that it was really really upsetting. Yes she should, I
think too. What was interesting she said she couldn't get
away from it. A lot of times. You think these
celebrities can just walk away from all all the noise.

(15:52):
They can't. It's around them all the time. Journey, it's
so brave and you look fabulous on the cover of
van to Be Fair. Okay, we're going to take a
quick break, and we were right back. Welcome back to
the Naudy bit. Nice, I'm your host drop shooter with
her dear friend Donny meet him, Hey, Donnie, let's get
to the polls that the law shall we talks about?
Brad Pitt is flattered that Jen Amiston and Gwyneth Paltrow,

(16:13):
both his exes, a gossiping about him. Jen admitted in
this new Vanity Fair story that when she gets together
with Greenough, they do have a good gossip of good
chin wag about Brad. Would you be smiling if your
exes got together for a chat for you? Said yes, six,

(16:33):
I'm not such a donny if two of your exes
got together to talk about you, or I'd pay money
to a lesson.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
I text them just so they'll remember I'm still alive.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Not talking about me. It's been so long, Okay, don't
forget to vote on today's pole. Go to our Twitter page.
I had naughty Nice rob Our facebook page is noughty

rat here your results. And now oh it's time for
Noisiest the day.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
All the nice of the day.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
So Prince Harry, you know there was that whole druma
with his charity board and you had to leave.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Well, he is back and he's on a new charity plan.
He's exploring options. The only little bit of an downside
is people are wondering how into it he really is.

Speaker 3 (17:19):
Which that's the only thing that bothers me about celebrities
and charities is don't just slap your name on something
because you feel like you need to do it.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
If you're not going to care, if you're not going
to take the time, don't even don't even bother. It's
like if a good but charity is meant to be right,
So if you're going to do it, do it right.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
Yeah. I get the wills there and he's such I'm
not second guessing any of that. To surround yourself with
good people, Harry, it's really difficult to run a massive
charity to make sure all the money you raise goes
to a great cause. But at the end of the day,
you're a really big star. People want to give Harry
money and so use your celebrity for all the good stuff,
but don't try to do everything. Hire people to manage it,

(18:00):
and you be the face of it and turn up
and yes and not. Okay, and is the day naughty,
naughty naughty. The Kennedy Center honors are going to be announced,
I think as early as tomorrow. Dean Kin's name is
beans related. Now we're not a political show, but these
honors for five decades have really celebrated the greatest, the

(18:20):
most celebrated artists around the world in music, theater, dance
and television. Meryl Streep, Stevie Wonder, Tom Hanks, really people
at the top of their games. I get that times
are changing, I get that we have a new administration,
but to lower the standards. And I'm not disrespecting Dean
Kine here, but I think we can all agree he
is superman. He's Lois and Clark Specials TV show, probably

(18:44):
not worthy of it.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
We're going to kid rock at Sinners.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
That's when it's going to be gracious of Okay, once again,
we are not a political show, but we are a
show that loves the arts. Let's end with a moment
of Rob. Sometimes loves means holding on and sometimes it
means having the courage to let it go. I've had
to discover this. I hold on to friends, to people,

(19:11):
even toxic friends, for maybe a little bit too long.
Now I've decided, if I really love them, if I
really love myself, you have to let them go. Love
can also mean Donnie saying goodbye is the great great
Beyonce said, find the good in goodbye. Hey. That is
it for today. Thank you so much for listening to
