Speaker 1 (00:09):
Vie for sure, it's time nay and low and Low. Hello,
welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show. I'm your host,
Rom Shooter, and it is Thursday, which means our dear
friend Mark Lupo joins us. Hey, LUPI, are you there
here here, ub Hey, Luby Louie missed you last week.
(00:29):
Welcome back, my friend. Let's jump into the show. We've
got a ton of news, gossip, entertainment reporting to get
to What time is it, my friends? It is tea time. Hey.
Before we break into the lead story of the day,
which is Taylor Swift, a great exclusive, we've got to
say congratulations to Rihanna and Asap Rocky, who have welcomed
baby number three. So they have two children all ready
(00:51):
and now they have a little daughter, Rocky Irish Mayas
is her name, born September thirteenth. So they kept this
secret about a week. What I like about this is
that no reporter, nobody like me or you, Mark, broke
this story. They did it themselves. So they have really
good friends. There was no leaks. So she had the
baby about ten days ago. Normally within ten days, some
(01:15):
source will call me, We'll call Mark, we'll call TMZ
or call Radar. No, they broke this themselves on Instagram. Congratulations.
He said he wanted a little girl, and so he
got a girl. And I'm sort of glad he did,
because you don't want to go on record saying you
want a girl and then have a boy, because when
that boy grows up, he's going to read that. I
(01:35):
was like, what an awful thing to say. They might
have known that it was a girl. They might have known,
but in any case, congratulations. Officially a family of five.
I like this bunch money things.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
I love it, and I love that they have three
kids are names starting with R like the Parashians. Yeah,
it's very sweet.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Yeah, it's sort of a trend, isn't it. I wonder
if I had children, if they'd all begin with R.
I wonder what about you, Mark? Would they all begin
with their?
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Now, I'm not that vague narcissistic, but yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
That's very neither. It is a lovely story, but he
does have a little bit of narcissism, is it? Thank
you for pointing that, Bark. Let's jump in down our show.
So the lead story is Taylor Swift's big Super Bowl deal.
Looks like it's collapsed because the NFL is refusing her demands.
So Taylor Swift arguably, not even arguably. I think it's
a fact. It's the biggest pop star in the world
at the moment. Lots of stories, lots of rumors, lots
(02:25):
of whispers about her doing the super Bowl, They're all true.
They want Taylor Swift. They wanted her for many many years.
Some years she couldn't do it because of sponsorships. The
super Bowl halftime show was sponsored by a competitor of
somebody that sponsored Taylor. I think it was diet Pepsi
or Pepsi or Coca Cola, one of those brands. So
she couldn't do it. Now she can do it. They
(02:46):
have a new sponsor, I think it's Apple now, so
she can do it. There have been a lot of talks. However,
Taylor Swift's team knows her worth. Now. This is so interesting.
Mark They don't pay superl halftime performance. So in Madonna,
Michael Jackson, all these big stars, Rihana, when they performed,
they didn't earn anything. What you do is should get
(03:09):
all that attention, get all that publicity, you get all
those eyeballs. Taylor's Meth's like, I don't really need the
super Bowl for that, I'd probably get more eyeballs on
my Instagram acas than with people watching the super Bowl.
So Taylor, as we know, is very much in control
of her own career, and I think we can really
support this here. She brought back her masters. She owns
(03:29):
all her music, and I'm told that part of her
deal to perform on the super Bowl is that she
wanted to own that. It was her footage. It wasn't
owned by NBC or the NFL. I think it's on
NBC next year. She owned it. She said, it's mine.
If I'm going to perform, I want to own the footage,
and every time that's on YouTube or it airs anywhere,
(03:50):
I'll make a royalty. It's owned by me. These are
my songs I own. I own the masters to the songs.
I also want to own the footage. Plus, let's remember
during the Super Bowl they sell ads for millions and
millions and millions and millions of dollars. She wanted a
couple of those free ads. She wanted them to pay.
You're not paying me to perform, Give me a few
ads and I can promote my concerts, my move music, whatever,
(04:12):
she wants, she could promote Megan Markles cups of tea
or a jab like that. I think that that is
a really good barter. If you want me for free,
give me a couple of ads. It's your airtime, and
so give me a few. This broke down and now
Adele's name is being floated as a backup. That's how
I really know this. Once Adele's name started to drift
(04:35):
out there, I knew there was a problem because NFL
has a little bit of an issue now on their hands.
I think everybody assumed it was going to be Taylor Swift.
So it's not Taylor Swift. I think we're going to
be disappointed. And so that's why they're already saying Dell
Adele knows she's the second choice. Everybody knows they wanted
Taylor Swift, and so they're started to sort of covered
(04:57):
their tracks. I'm told it's not over yet. They're still oh,
I'm gooing talks. But at the minute these talks have collapsed.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
What do you think, Well, yeah, I agree, Rob, this
is not something that she needs necessarily. I will say,
though the Super Bowl is appointment viewing, it's a rare
opportunity where the whole world is getting together and watching
something at the same time. And I think it really
benefits people who are reviving their careers. So like last
year was Usher and it was a big moment for him,
and we were also happy for him. And so when
(05:25):
I look at other options, right like Mariah Carey is
having a huge moment right now, and I would love
to see Mariah Carey have a moment, yeah, and she's
having an album coming out. Or Justin Bieber, for example,
has been kind of taking a hiatus and now he's
back with this big album. I'm open to seeing something
other than Taylor, Like Taylor is good.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Tayler's good, and she's gonna get it, Like she's still
so young, Taylor's going to get a super bold moment.
You're right, Mark, there's two buckets here, there's two camps.
You either do it at the peak of your success
or like Madonna, you wait ten years really when you're
passed that peak. I don't want to say past your prime,
but Madonna was a huge star in the nineties in
the eighties, she didn't do the Super Bowl until relatively
resents really, and then it became a retrospective of really
(06:05):
your body of work, which is what it would be
for Mariah. You know, she's sing one of the new songs,
but hopefully she'ld do all the old hits too, which
is what Madonna did when she did it, and so
I could see her doing Goose. I would love to
see Taylor do it at some point. Let's be honest here,
we are not a political show. But there must be
some concerns too that the President potentially could be at
(06:25):
this super Bowl. He turned up at the tennis He
likes to go to high profile events. I don't know
how she would feel performing in front of him. They've
certainly had a very rocky, rocky history. He said some
awful things about Taylor swif she hasn't said really some
such awful things about him. But it's been a very
very difficult relationship. And also to Travis might be at
(06:46):
the super Bowl, it might be his last super Bowl,
and I think she would rather be there as his partner.
They're supporting him rather than put in on her own show.
And so I do understand the complexities of this, but
I also too, I love what a boss Taylor is.
This is no diss here on Taylor. This is respect.
She knows her worth, and often when we hear that,
know you're worth, I know mine. And it's not as
(07:09):
much as what people think. I'm aware of what. There's many,
many other people that can do what I do. That
isn't true with Taylor. If you really really want to
find somebody exceptional, somebody who really could not be replaced,
we can all be replaced, I think to a certain extent,
I think that person would probably be Taylor Swift. And
so I get it. I love what a bush is.
(07:31):
I love how badly she was treated with her masters,
and she fixed it. She fixed that. So she's not
now after fighting that hard to win back her masters,
she's not going to perform on somebody else's show and
let them own all the rights to it. Just not
going to happen, which brings us to our pole question
of the day. It looks as if Taylor Swift's super
(07:51):
Bowl performance their talks have collapsed. They're not over yet,
but they're not going great. That's why we're seeing other
names floated in the press. They're like try all blue
and smart. We've seen Miley Cyrus, We've seen Adalla. It's
gonna soften the blow if if Taylor and the NFL
and NBC do not strike a deal, this will soften
the blow. So I'm told that the talks have stalled.
(08:13):
Who would you rather see? Would you rather see Taylor
Swift or Adele? Adele put on a pretty great show?
I mean, Adallas is second to no One. That's a superstar.
So who would you rather see? Taylor Swift or Adela?
Go vote on our Twitter page, add naughty Nice Rob
on our Facebook page Nordy Gossip and be sure to
check back to morrow to hear your results. Hey Loopy,
(08:36):
where are you working on?
Speaker 2 (08:36):
God? The story cracks me. So Kaiate Goslin and her
boyfriend Buddy Guar are shopping a reality show apparently, let
me explain. I know so Kith Goslyn has a new
man and possibly a new TV gig shooter. Scoop can
reveal the former Capless eight star and her longtime Buddyguar
turned boyfriend Steve Neild are pitching a reality series together
(08:59):
called The Guard Now. Sources are saying they are very
much a couple. This isn't just a professional partnership. Steve
is Kate's boyfriend and the show would follow their relationship
front and Center, where the concept is being shopped around Hollywood.
It would track the parent's unusual love story from years
of whispering and their chemistry to finally going public after
(09:19):
more than a decade of rumors and cameras. Would also
capture their blended family with Kate's eight children and Steve's
two kids as they navigate this and just men, what
do you think?
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Well, we knew they were together. I spotted them in
a green room over a decade ago. They were together,
and they denied it. They would clearly together. I've also
got to point out to Kate Goslin is one of
the most awful celebrities I have awful. She is Bethany
Frank called awful, like she just is not a good person.
She's really really not that can that make great reality TV?
(09:51):
It has in the past. I feel as if Kate's
moments has gone and trying to capture lightning again in
a bottle, I'm not sure it's gonna work. Maybe it's
funny the bodyguard, that's kind of funny, and the two
of them. The problem is with these types of show
Mark and you know, as a real expert in producing
in TV, what is it about for ten episodes, like
(10:13):
is it really just the two of them walking around?
Like I don't know, and there's such bad ill will
towards Kate. I don't know. If you root for her,
people might be rooting for this relationship to not work,
and that's not gonna make very good TV. So good look,
it's interesting, Mark. You would think after her track record,
her show got millions and millions and millions of viewers,
you'd think that she'd be able to sell this, and
(10:34):
she hasn't. So I know already a few networks that
she's met with who are just not in the Cake
Goslin business. They feel as if it's like the Housewives,
that moment's past that they want to move on to
something new, not really go back. What do you think
about all this? Could she sell this? Do you see
this selling? Could this be on streaming? Do you think
anyone will watch?
Speaker 2 (10:53):
What makes me laugh about this is I've also met
Kate over the years and worked with her, and I've
met Steve too, and he's come to variousperiances and it
takes this job as a bodyguards so seriously, it's like.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
He's like secret service. It's he's so serious, which.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
Is just so silly because he really doesn't like give
off the vibes of like I could fix a problem
if something arises, so like, in my mind, this show
would be like a spoof of what it would be
like to have a bodyguard in.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
The history of celebrity. That's what he drops everything, he
loses his phone. Kate's always exposed to dangers, like it's
kind of that could be. But that's the problem is
that idea, it's a great idea, is they have to
be in on the joke, and Kate gostly is she
does not, But I do like some of those housewives.
As awful as they are, they are funny, Like Luaddie
(11:40):
is funny. She is in on the Ramona not so much.
Methody not so much. But there are housewives that can
giggle at themselves. I think Sonia Morgan too, can wink
at herself. Kate Garslin has a no said, so the
only way this would work is if it's funny and
she doesn't know it's funny. So we're laughing that she
doesn't know. That could work. We will keep our eyes open. Okay,
(12:05):
moving forward, Tom Cruise and John Travalter have cut off
the Presley family after the Scientology split. So the Presley family,
Elvis Presley's family has cut of ties with scientologists, and
now Tom Cruise and John Travaltera are keeping their distance.
So Priscilla Presley has a book out and she's been
(12:25):
talking a lot about Lisa Marie. And now there's a
new book that Lisa Marie did not write, but it
is about her life, and they talk about how Scientology
was a big part of their lives of Lisa Marie
and Priscilla's all that fell apart. And now they're not
going too hard Mark, They're not revealing everything about Scientology,
(12:47):
but they're making it quite clear that this was not
a good experience for the family. It's hard because Tom Cruise,
whatever you think of Scientology, and we all have an
opinion about it, but Tom Cruise and John Travalter believe
deeply in this. To insult Scientology to them is like
insulting something that really matters to you, your faith, something
(13:08):
that's very important to you. So although I do not
see it through Tom's eyes and through John Travolta's eyes,
I do understand their connection to it. I don't understand why,
but I understand that connection to it. So if you
say anything that can be perceived even as an insult,
will really get them riled up. You've covered Scientology a
(13:30):
lot more when you were a sweekly and the magazines.
It's a tough it's a tough it's a tough organization
to cover because they punch back.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Hot or once you say anything about them in a
negative way. You know, they caught my phone like crazy voicemails,
They looked at my LinkedIn. I'm like, are they in
front of my apartment? It's scary, and so you have
to really take it, you know, with that in mind.
But it makes me sad to know that once you
leave Scientology you're kind of just cut off. How you're
dead to them, and so any relationships you have in
the church are over her.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
Yeah. Yeah, we've seen it with Tom and Suri and
I mean that's his daughter. We've seen some really really
awful stuff here, but the Presley family now are on
that list. Okay, quickly, before we get to break mark,
Kim Kardashian is ready to tell all about her disastrous
marriage to Kanye West, and.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
I cannot wait for this. So Kim Kardashian has stayed
mostly diplomatic about her rocky marriage. She surely has. I
give her credit for that, but up till now, and
now Shooter Scoot can reveal the reality. Queen is preparing
to finally break her silence and tell us what really
happened to be clapped behind closed doors. I know so
sources are saying Kim has been sitting on us for years.
She's really ready to tell her side of the story,
(14:41):
talk about his controlling behavior, the meltdowns, the fashion fights
and all of it. She feels like she's earned the
right to reclaim her own story.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
She has. She's almost hinted at this. She did the
cover of an international vogue where she started the first
time I've ever heard her really talk about this marriage.
She's getting ready to tell all. She's got a lot
to tell. It's amazing, isn't it. The truth always comes out. Mark,
We interview people, We talked to sources, to people who
have really shocking information. It takes a while. They don't
tell you right away, And if you think about it,
(15:11):
if something willful happened to you, Mark to me, I
don't tell you right away. It takes a few days.
With me, maybe a few hours. But but you Mark,
probably a few weeks or once. Eventually it does come out.
And this was a really, really tough marriage, and Kim
knows all the secrets. I think, though, she's going to
tell it in a way without trashing him. I think
(15:31):
she's just going to tell it as facts and let
you decide. Although I think we all know what a
mess this is. Okay, we're going to take it quick
break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
being naughty but Nice and Mark were flying through the
show today. I've only got five minutes left. Let's get
to the part. Duh. The Today Show is begging coder
(15:51):
Copy to come back. Will she returns? So hope. It
was on the show just a few days ago to
plug her book, to plug her event. And I think
viewers really really picking out pretty fast. We miss her.
That's the trouble. When you invite somebody back, you might
really miss them. It's like if you break up with
somebody and then you're going to have coffee with them,
you might really miss them. And so I think the
(16:11):
audience like, oh, she's so good at this, She is
so good at this. When you see Holder, you just smile.
It's definitely a loss to the show. The show is
still doing great, ratings are fine without her, but there
is a little bit of a sparkle that is there
when Holder is on. So they're asking, would you like
to come back? Maybe not full time, maybe once a month,
maybe once a week, maybe every day. What do you
(16:31):
think here? Will she return? Seventy percent said no, she's
moved on. I think you're probably right. Hey, go vote
on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Ram, vote on
today's pole that Facebook page Naughty Gossip, and be sure
to check back to morrow to hear your results. And now,
oh or a saucy nicest of the day.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Wow, wow, very sassy. So Matthew McConaughey is going new
just like his mom and dad. We like it. So
it looks like Matthew McConaughey really did inherit more than
just good looks and charm from his parents. Our podcasters
revealing the Oscar winning actor is embracing nuduty with the
same care free attitude that to find his mom and
(17:16):
dads outrageous love story. Just to remind all of us here,
fans know that Matthew McConaughey's dad, James Donald, famously died
in his birthday suit during sex with his wife.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Kay, thank you very much. We shouldn't know he told us.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
He did tell us that, the fact that he told us,
and now the fifty five year old actor is just
carrying on the tradition and being comfortable in the nude.
Sources say Matthew has always been fine about stripping down
physically and spiritually, and whether it's a beach run or
skinny dipping or just lounging at home, he's not shy.
It's very much his thing.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Oh didn't he get arrested ones played the bo came
to his home. He's a dudew McConaughey is a dude.
Is that his parents? It makes perfect sense and nicest
of the day. I don't like being nude. I don't
like it. What about you?
Speaker 2 (18:06):
I mean, I go skinning to be in the beach
New Beach, I don't. I really don't have a problem
with it. It's kind of creeing.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
Well, there's an exclusive day and on this nude beach
mark are you nude?
Speaker 2 (18:17):
Oh for nude?
Speaker 1 (18:18):
Yeah? Oh? I would be on the New Beach with
my covered up like them, like Mary Poppins. I don't
like all the nudity. I don't like it, Marquay. Let's
do naughtyous of the day. Noughty, noughty, noughty, reckless. King
Charles is standing by Andrew and Fergie. So King Charles
is doubling down on his loyalty to his disgraced brother
(18:39):
and his ex sister in law Sarah Ferguson and Pallas.
Insiders are telling me this move could blow up the monarchy.
So Charles thinks that being close to Andrew is loyalty.
He wants to protect him. Now, Fergie has been dropped
by children's charities in Britain because of emails she's sent
to Jeffrey Epstein, gushing emails Mark saying how graty was,
(18:59):
what a wonderful friend she accept money from him. No,
it is time to cut this cord. They will always
be family. But this is just such a bad idea.
You've got to protect yourself, Mark, There's people in your
own life that are just not good people, and you
gotta protect yourself. Charles, protect the monarchy, protect yourself, protect
(19:21):
your family. Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew not good company. Okay,
let's end with a murmur of rob You're gonna rub,
You get a rub. You got a Rob standing out
for spreading love. There's already enough negativity in the world.
There's enough complaining, there's enough criticism, and there's enough noise
Mark to pull you down. So be different. Be the
(19:42):
one who uplifts, the one who smiles, the one who
says a kind thing, even when it's easier to be silent.
Love is rare, which is why it is so powerful.
It's the thing people remember, the thing that shifts the
energy in the room, the thing that multipliers when you
give it away. So if you want to stand out,
(20:03):
if you want to stand out in life in this world,
spread love every chance you get. It's your real superpower.
There's not enough love, Mark, spread some love today. There's
enough negativity for us all. Be different. Hey, that is
it for today. Thank you so much for listening, so
(20:24):
they're not a bit nice with Rob and Mark show
a production of Elvis Duran and iHeartRadio. Don't forget to
subscribe on the iHeartRadio app Apple podcast. Wherever you listen,
leave us a review if you can. They really do
help and remember altogether. Now let me hear you singing away.
If you're going to be naughty, your gataib let me here. Nice,
(20:45):
take care of everybody. It's not even nice with Rah
