Speaker 1 (00:09):
VI Shooters.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Welcome to the naughtyven I sham your host Rush Shooter,
and it's Wednesday, which means our dear friend Donny Meacham
joins us. Hey, Donnie, are you there?

Speaker 1 (00:22):
All level level level level? Ow if you thought you
were rid of me, because those last few weeks of
December wasn't here, it was the holidays. We guess we're
I'm back twenty twenty, twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
We never want to see the end of view. We
don't want to get rid of you. We love you.

Speaker 1 (00:39):
Originally I was the ridge of the ogre.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
If people don't realize this. Before I got the podcast,
I had a radio show, the Subscription Show, and Donnie
was the producer who was assigned to the show. He
didn't really want to do it, but they forced him
to do it, and then he fell in love Shooter.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Well, well, like would be a good thing. Also not tease.
I believe in the power of manifestation. That's what we're
going to do this year, in twenty twenty five. We're
going to positivity and speaking words. So I am up
for a I can't say much about a campaign like
a commercial, and it's a pretty big commercial with a

(01:19):
pretty big deal, so I and we'll find out either
later this week or early next week. So everybody out there,
just yeah, good vibes, good vibe.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Goode, Oh Donnie, that makes me so happy. I cheer
for my friends. If you have people around you who
don't cheer for you, they're not your friend.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Get rid of them, Get get get rid of them.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
For a long time, Johno, we both had people in
our lives who didn't really want us to succeed. They
were a friend as long as we were a little
less than them. But once we spread our wing, so
to speak, they weren't quite as friendly and anymore. And
we both got rid of that person, and I think
we're better off for it. Okay, let's jump into the show.

(02:01):
What time is it, my friends? It is big story
at the top of the shows have finally Hugh Jackman
and Sutton Foster have been spotted together holding hands in
Santa Monico. And so we told you about this couple first.
We were the first to break this news. I knew
about it from my theater insiders. They met on the
Music Man, they fell in love. Then he got divorced

(02:22):
from his wife of over twenty years. She's now divorced.
She's in La doing Once Upon a Mattress, which is
a musical. She's doing it at the Armuson Theater in La.
He was spotted there in the audience, but not with her.
Well now, just a few days later we have spotted
them together. It was a date night. They look really,
really happy. It's the first public display of affection that

(02:45):
we've seen from these two. They've been together for about
two months now. Eyewitnesses said that they both were really happy.
They were walking hand in hand, and they didn't appear
to realize that the paparazzi in the photograhgraphers took their picture.
Beautiful pictures out there. You can google them, you can
see these pictures. I like these two as a couple.

(03:08):
I don't like how it began. It's always complicated, and
I'm sure we'll be looking at this timeline carefully. It's
like Arianna Grande and Ethan, her boyfriend. They got together
on a movie they made at work, but they both
were married. Brad and Angelina the same. It's a messy
beginning to a relationship, Donnie, but it doesn't mean the

(03:29):
relationship itself has to be messy. What do you think
about these two, what about them getting together? What do
you think about their exes? Just a lot here.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, So they were in Santa Monica, which is a
beautiful city by the beach here in California. And the
picture is they look genuinely happy. I'm not gonna lie
like when I saw the picture, they were smiling. I
smiled because I was like, whoa, these two actually look happy.
And it's also it's interesting to see a Hollywood couple.
You know, he's fifty six, she's forty nine. They're actually

(03:57):
close in age. That's strange. But you know all the
rumors about Hugh. Maybe I'll go sit outside the armis
in theater and just open up the old Grinder and
see what happens.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Grinder is a day dating app for the listeners that
there's lots of rumors about you being gay for a
long time. And that was because he married a woman
older than him. If a man had done that, nobody
would notice. But the fact his wife, deb was ten
years older, everyone was like, oh my goodness, he's gay.
She's the beard. Debbie has to get really annoyed about this.
They used to live quite close to me. They don't
live there anymore. I think deb still does. And I'd

(04:30):
bump into them on the west side walking their dogg
Is they looked like they were a couple. I didn't
believe he was gay. He's not, and now we know
that because of certain foster. So how do you feel, though, Donnie,
about a relationship starting before a previous relationship actually ends.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
So here's the thing, and it kind of goes back
to the whole area on a grande thing is that
so he was married for twenty seven years to Deborah
and you just don't know the workings of a relationship
because people can still be together on paper, They can
still be together like physically because they're living in the
same house. But that relationship could have been over for years.

(05:11):
And the thing is, we just don't know that because
neither of them have kind of really come out and
talked more about it. I think he would be smart
to tend to not talk about it because they will
always be these rumors and stuff about him. But you know,
mentally wise and emotionally wise, this relationship could have been
over for a while. But the problem is, though, is

(05:36):
it could have been over on one side more than
the other. I'm assuming his side more than hers, because
he's the one already in a new relationship. The only
thing I just wish is that he didn't blindside her
with this relationship. He was open and honest about, Hey,
I'm out there seeing other people.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah, she was at the Music Man a lot. I
was lucky enough to be invited to the opening nights.
I sat just behind Ryan Reynolds lower and Deb was there.
But the vibe I got was very much she was
his manager, not his wife. She was his publicist, she
was his cheering rumors, and so there was lots of
rumors for a long time. Mindside has telling me that
they didn't want to fall in love, that Sutton and

(06:14):
Hugh just had this spark and they kept it at
bay for as long as possible. And Mindsiders who were
friends with you, So you have to remember that A
saying that he did talk to Deb about this. She
did know that they were not getting along, that there
was trouble in the relationship, that Sutton had come along,
and that Sutton was very happy to walk away from this.

(06:35):
She was married too at the time, but there was
something that pulled them together. And now, even though it
started in a really messy messy way. It doesn't have
to be messy in I do like that these two
are not hiding anymore. It's a new Year's resolution to
be out there, to be proud about the love they've found,
if not really proud about how they've found it. But

(06:57):
life is really messy, which brings us to our pole
question of the day. We finally spotted to you Jackman
and Sudden Foster holding hands in public together in Santa Monica.
Oh it's nice there. It's a really fancy, beautiful, beautiful
rich Do you support this relationship? Are you into it? Yes?
Or no? Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty
Nice rob a Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip, and

(07:18):
be sure to check back to my ra will hate
you your results. Hey Donnie, what are you working on?

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Also, it's uh so yesterday and today here in California,
we have been experiencing crazy, crazy winds, and so for me,
I'm kind of like have this. It's so weird because
they're like thirty five mile an hour guys, they are
life threatening wins. And it's it's scary because all these
buildings here they're old. It's like my apartment is built
in the nineteen forties. We have these very tiny windows,

(07:44):
and so it feels like the entire apartment's shaking. So
while I'm you know, doing the show right now, I'm
just kind of.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Like, oh, oh no, Donnie, don't fly off until twenty minutes.
I'll be furious if you leave halfway through the show.
Hold out of that window talkfest like Dorothy and the
Wisdom of ours Hell.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Look, Megan Marco, yes, and she is trying. She is
out there. She might as well go down to the
Walk of Fame and pedal her products one by one
on the She is her lifestyle brand, Riviera or Jared
American Riviera Orchard which don't forget she couldn't find a
CEO forever, so what did she do? Made herself CEEO.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
She's gonna be.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
Selling her products directly to viewers via Netflix. So she
has a new lifestyle show with Love Megan. It's gonna
debut on January fifteenth. I'm not gonna lie. I'm probably
gonna skip it, but you know, whatever, I enjoy you.
I implore you to watch it. Very smart though, because
it's almost like a home shopping network with QBC, which

(08:43):
people might forget that they're around they make billions of
dollars a year selling. Only thing I am interested to
see how it works is if they do some sort
of QR code that you can scan on your phone.
Because the problem with me, though is when I met
home and I'm scrolling through my phone is Apple pay
has been the worst thing to ever happen to a person.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Who shaps and you don't know you spend your money?

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Do you just click on it and then you hit
Apple Pay and then it's just boom boom, boom boom.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
I know those ubers because it always gets charged to
your credit card. If you remember of a private club,
there's private clubs in New York and they don't accept money.
They just bill you each month. Well really, they just
take it off your credit card and you can get
very very dangerous. I think this is a good idea.
Now people are going to look down upon this because
they're going to be, oh, Megan selling out, Yes she is.
She's gonna make money, that's what she's doing now. They
want to make a lot of money. And if she

(09:33):
has successful products, there's nothing like fragrances and products to
make you a ton of money. You know. Ryan Reynolds
had a tequila brand, So did George Clooney. Lots of
people do this. I'm not a snob about it. Does
it feel a little qv cee Yes, But there's nothing
wrong with that either. Big stars now go on QVC
to sell their products. I think this is smart and
I think she didn't do it, it'd be a wasted opportunity.

(09:55):
And if Netflix are going to be okay with this,
and they've done it in the past, there's been other
examples when their style, yes, exactly, sell products, endorsement deals
and Netflix. Netflix is probably taking a percentage out of this.
They might take five attempence I know.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
So that's them money.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
That will make them money too, And they've got to
make back that hundred million that they gave her. This
is just all a way to make more money. Welcome
to America. That's what the game is here. And so
if you're a snob about this, if you're looking down
you know, is that this, then I think you're a
little bit out of perspective. Here, girl, make that money.
I think she's trying to do it in a in
a sort of classy way. She wants this to be

(10:32):
a lifestyle show. It ain't. It's q the see. She
might as well stand there with those pots of jam
and sell them, don't.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
I If I had a product other than myself, I
would sell it to you every week here on the
ninety but nine show. I mean you could just venmo me.
I don't care. I'm selling myself. I'm the product. If
we had a product, we would sell it to you.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
We've got to get a product. Should we do? Should ourselves? Honey?
Not selling ourselves? Toney, I'm not walking fee picks. It's
out rageous. Let's move you lounged Donny Meachum. Oh, Dennie
Moore's Golden Globes speech, It's really exposed a really ugly
side of Hollywood. So Demi had a beautiful speech saying
that she was told once by a producer that she

(11:11):
was a popcorn actress, putting her down and saying basically
that she could make a lot of money and she
could be in summer blockbusters, but she was never gonna
wouldn't win any awards, she was never gonna have a
prestigious career. Well, now she's proving them wrong. However, friends
are now telling pay six that this is what Hollywood is.
After Demi took a long break. It was really hard
for her to get back into the business. And if

(11:32):
you look at her IMDb, you will see that there's
this huge gap and then after the gap, just tiny
little rolls, little cameos. It took her a long time
to fight back, and I think it's about agism too,
particularly with female actresses in Hollywood. They can be really,
really brutal, really really cruel. Demi. I love that you

(11:53):
get in the last slav here. I think it's so inspiring.
You're such a talented actress that has often been undervalued
because you're just so pretty. Like you never think of
being pretty as a bad thing. It's not. It's a
great thing. But sometimes when you're as beautiful as Demi,
you were sort of devalued a little bit. You thought
it was just that pretty dumb girl, and that's absolutely

(12:14):
not the case. I love that she's she's back, and
she's arguably bigger than she's ever been before. Donning Yes.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
I mean, here's the thing. One of my favorite movies
of all time is Gi Jane with Jimmy Moore, is
where she went to the army and she did her
She's a very talented actress, and here is the reality
of Hollywood is a lot of actresses and actors out there.
They are popcorn actresses. They're meant for summer blockbusters. They're
not meant to win Oscars and not meant to do that,

(12:41):
and they're okay with that. The problem is is there
are Hollywood execs out there and they have the audacity
and the nerve to tell you these things to your face.
And it's like, what do you get out of telling
me this. You're purposely putting me down while cashing my
paycheck that I'm earning for you. It's really insulting. And

(13:01):
Demmy's speech was beautiful. And also, let's not forget she
spent a lot of time taking care of Bruce. She
has a really good relationship with her ex husband Bruce
Willis and their kids, and she Bruce's Bruce is dying.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Let's be honest with you.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
Bruce is going through a really hard time and she
takes care of him along with his new current partner.
And Demmy had the last laugh. And if Demi was
to never work again after this, I think emotionally she
would feel on top. And I think that is what matters.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Absolutely. Donnie just said that, you know, before we do
our final story before the break. I think of you
as much more than a popcorn podcast host, much more.
I see webbies, I see lots of woods, and I
see a big commercial that we are all visualizing. We
want it, we want it, we want it, okay quickly
before we get a break. A sad story, Aubrey Plaster

(13:54):
is finally speaking out about the tragic death of her husband.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
What does she have to say so her film like
her husband Jeff Baina died at forty seven years old,
and he died by suicide, And she said, it is
an unimaginable tragedy. We are deeply grateful to everyone who
has offered support. Please respect our privacy at the time,
a very short statement, she says, I could not imagine

(14:20):
living with somebody, being married to somebody and then one
day them committing suicide. The pain and the guilt this
woman must be going through of wondering could she have
done more? Could she have helped him more? It has
to be just as she says, unimaginable. And so I
think the best we can all do is give her

(14:40):
a minute.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Let's go to breathe. Yeah, Donnie, let's listen to our
own words. YT's give us some grace here. We're not
going to talk about Aubrey until she wants to talk
to us again and do publicity and be back out there.
And so we're definitely going to give her grace on
this show. And I hope other shows are the podcasts
of the TV shows. I hope they do too. Okay,
we're going to take a quick break and we will
be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but nic

(15:06):
Sham your hisstor of shoot with their dear friend Donnie Meecham. Hey, Donnie,
let's get to the polls. Yesterday we confirmed that Jen
and Ben Benny for Part two is officially over. They
finalized their divorce. A checky question, do you think they'll
get back together again? Because we didn't think the second time?
Could then a third time. Let's have a look. Eighty
percent said no, No, this is not happening again. I

(15:28):
think I'm with you, but you never know in Hollywood,
you never never, never know, and so I think I'm
with you. Naughty's don't forget to vote on today's poll.
Go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob at
facebook page is Naughty Gossip, and be sure to check
back to Mara Walter, hear your results and now it's

(15:48):
time for an nisiest of the day. Well.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Also in true Ben and Gin fashion, Jen was at
Ben's house the morning divorce was fine.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Let's so betten in that any here?

Speaker 1 (16:02):
So the nicest of the day Taylor Swift. She was
sunbathing in a bikini with her backup singers and a
rare behind the scenes snap. So she was taking a
break from her record breaking eras tour and her crew
and all them. They were just on the beach and
she looked sunny and beautiful. And it's only rare because

(16:26):
we never really see pictures of Taylor Swift like this.
I don't know if she has one of those. It's
got to be a rule in her contract. If you
work with me, give me your phone, if we go anywhere,
you're not allowed to take pictures of me. There's got
to be something, because we never really see pictures of
Taylor Swift.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Mmm, you know she's in a bikini? Yeah, yeah, I
mean I do love that she's aware this picture has
been taken. It was posted by one of her longtime
backup singers. They've been friends for a long time. Mind
Side has tell me their friends. Taylor approved this. Nobody's
posting pictures of her without her permission, so it's all kosher.
It's nice to see them off stage, and it's also
nice to real that they hang out. I've worked with

(17:02):
a lot of pop stars who don't talk to anybody
in their crew. They don't even know the name of
the people in the band. I always laugh in these
concerts when they're like, please give the band a random applause.
They're my best friends. I love my backups that you
don't name the names name but barely barely know them.
That's not true with Taylor. They hang out as equals

(17:22):
as possibly they can, considering she's got a billion a
billion dollars and they don't. But she's very generous to them,
and not just generous with her money, with her time.
I think they've developed really beautiful friendships and it makes
me happy and nicest. Of the day now and he's
the day, naughty, naughty MS and not he's of the
day Meredith the Era from the Today Show. She's lost

(17:43):
her husband, Richard Cohen, who died at seventy six years
old after fighting a fifty year MS battle. So Meredith
and her husband have been together for a long, long, long, long,
long long time. Now they're friends and Savannah have shared
the heartbreaking news on the Today Show that Richard passed

(18:04):
away surrounded by family and love. They have three children together.
I know Meredith a little bit, and she's such a cool, smart,
kind person, and Richard was always the center of her life.
Despite this enormous TV career, all this success, Richard was
the heartbeat of that family. He has been battling MS

(18:26):
for fifty years five zero, so this became a way
of life for Meredith and her husband. It wasn't just
a few short years at the end of his life,
the majority of his life. When he was twenty six,
he was diagnosed with their mess, so he's had this
a really long time. Rest in peace, Meredith, We are
sending you our love. Okay, let's end with a moment

(18:50):
of rab Perseverance is failing nineteen times and succeeding on
the twentieth. You got to keep trying, won't give up.
That's all that success is. If people ask me my
definition of success, it's the willingness to try and try
again and try again. After that, I could fail nineteen

(19:12):
times on the twentieth I will succeed and I promise
the same is true for you. Keep going. You just
need one yes. Hey, that is it for today. Thank
you so much for listening to the Naughty Bit, Nice
with Rob and Donnie Show Welcome Back Donnie, a production
of iHeartRadio. Don't forget to subscribe on the iHeartRadio app podcast.

(19:34):
They really really do help and remember altogether. Now are
you ready Donnie? If you're going to be naughty, your
