Kelly Clarkson blindsided fans by pulling the plug on her Las Vegas residency just 90 minutes before showtime. Across the globe, retired NFL legend Tom Brady was spotted turning up the heat in Ibiza with Fifty Shades star Dakota Johnson and rom-com queen Kate Hudson. Meanwhile, Bravo is in crisis mode as the network desperately tries to shove Leah McSweeney’s explosive lawsuit into private arbitration — a move her legal team calls a shady attempt to hide damning evidence.

Rob is joined by his dear pal Garrett Vogel from Elvis Duran and the Morning Show with all the scoop. Don't forget to vote in today's poll on Twitter at @naughtynicerob or in our Facebook group.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Advice.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Oh sure, it's time.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
And love. Hello, welcome to the nordy but nice show,
your host drop Shooter. It's Monday morning, and our dear
friend Garrett Vogel is back way we mister Garrett, are
you there.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Back from holiday?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Rob?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
I missed you just as much as you probably missed me.
Or maybe I missed the Naughties more than they missed me,
who knows. But we all missed each other. But you
know what, just like a good family and friend get together,
we get back together like we never missed a second.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
And here we are today on this month.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Absolutely a lot of news to get to today. Let's
jump right in. What time is it? My friends? Is
it tea time? Big story at the top of the show. Now,
this is personal because this is your favorite celebrity, one
of your favorite people in the whole wide world. So
Kelly Clarkson canceled her Vegas show just before it was
set to begin, so ninety minutes before the show was

(01:02):
ready to start. This is her new residency in Las Vegas.
It's called the Studio Sessions. She's playing Caesar's Palace. This
is literally the palace that was built for Celine Dion
to return to Vegas. I think it's about five six
thousand seats. It's massive. If you've ever been there, it's huge.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Garret so Selena Adele too right.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Adele was there after Selene So built for Celene. Adele
was the latest headliner there. They have the best of
the best. If you're playing Caesar's Palace, you are the best.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
You've done something right with your career.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Do They only asked the best quality artist like Barbara
Streisand if ever she returned to Vegas, which I don't
think she would, she would play Caesar's Palace if they
ever got Taylor Swift, if they ever got one of
these massive stars.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Not so much, not not quite so much.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
Donnie and Marie, I love you, but you're probably not
going to be at Caesar's Palace. I love you. I've
seen them at the Flamingo, which is fantastic, but this
is the prestigious bit then you and I MA only
saying that because there's so many seats. They're nineteen minutes
before the show. You would guess five six thousand people
in Vegas are either in their seats are on their
way to that concert. Kelly went on social media and

(02:16):
said I'm devastated and that all the rehearsals has taken
a toll on her voice. Now, insiders are telling me
she's not just tired, she's overwhelmed. There's a lot going on.
We know there's issues with the talk show. We broke
that news on our podcast. We know there's personal issues.
My goodness, she's been through a horrible, horrible divorce and
now the tour. The tour could be in trouble too.

(02:38):
Is it all catching up with Kelly?

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Well, you hope not, but you also understand that, like
you just said, the woman's been through so so much,
and some celebrities have the ability to kind of, you know,
go back into the bush like their Homer Simpson meme
and you don't see them for a while.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Kelly, though, has a job.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Anyway, you look kind of you know, very Ryan Seacrest, like,
you know, she's a singer, she's a producer, she owns
her own record label, she has a talk show, so
she doesn't have that moment to kind of go into hiding.
And when she does, we're here going where it's Kelly Clarkson,
where'd she go?

Speaker 2 (03:13):
What happened?

Speaker 3 (03:14):
So it's like a lose lose situation for her to
probably you know, set herself right. The interesting thing though,
I find about the start of this Kelly Clarkson residency.
Adele was in the same situation too, where she she
almost put out a very similar statement when she started
her residency at the same theater, saying that she wanted

(03:34):
to get the show right. It was a lot of work,
and everybody's like, oh, so hopefully Kelly could write the ship,
get the voice back on track, and you know feel
that that that that arena to capacity for her residency.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Yeah, I think she will. She she really is a
great person. I know people who work on her talk show,
They've worked on lots of different talk shows. Kelly's one
of their favorite people. Yeah, they really just genuinely Kelly. Sorry,
the Kelly that you see on TV is the Kelly
that she is offset behind the scenes when she's joking,
when she's talking to her staff. And so this is
not an Ellen situation where what you see is maybe

(04:11):
not really what you get. However, there are concerns there
is something going on with this talk show. She took
a leave of absence. Remember she disappeared for a week,
a week and a half and she never actually told
us why she never to this day has really given
us an answer. It was some sort of family issue.
But I'm told this is Kelly. I'm not sure she

(04:33):
wants to do this anymore. Now. Let's remember, when you
see a big star doing all these shows, all this work,
you just say, well, then take some time off. You've
got a lot of money. It's harder than that, because
Kelly is a business. She is a machine. She has managers,
she has agency. Let's be honest, only make money when
she makes money. So often, when you see these pop

(04:53):
stars on the road when they shouldn't be, they should
be resting, I look at their management and I'm like,
you gotta take a step back here. It's just not
worth it. She's juggling a family, she has two full
time jobs, really really big jobs. Performing live is absolutely grueling.
She wants to put on the best show. I'm told

(05:14):
Kelly never phones it in. She's not one of those
artists that just turns up and phones it in. If
she's going to do a show, she's gonna really do
the show. So she wants to put her best foot forward.
I think there's no shame here though, in deciding you
know what, I don't want to do this talk show anymore.
I want to perform, or I don't want to perform anymore,
I'll do the talk show.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
You know what's interesting though, You look at Jimmy Kimmel.
Jimmy Kimmel takes the entire summer off. He but his
show keeps on running. He finds guest co host, and
ABC is okay with that. They want to keep their
big late night guy happy. So I think NBC should
allow Kelly to open up and be that way as well.

(05:52):
Where you know Jimmy, Jimmy openly said when he takes
the summer off, he goes, I'm hanging out with my family.
You know, my kids are growing up. I don't want
to I don't want to miss that opportunity for being
here at the show. So we're going to keep on
running the show, keep on you know, people getting paid,
the producers, and give you guys a good show.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Kelly should do the same thing.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
I think she should come to her show come September
and say, hey, there's going to be some times I
need to take off. I want to be with my
family between music and touring. My kids are growing up
quicker than anything, and I'm realizing that as well myself.
You know, I think they should do that, and if
NBC really wants her, they should be like, you know what,
go for it, Kelly, we support you.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
That's really smart, isn't it. I used to think that
if I wasn't working all the time, I was being lazy.
I was brought up with a really strong, what I
thought was a strong work ethic, but it's actually not
a strong work ethic. It's an unhealthy one to be
working seven days a week till midnight and getting up
early and then working again. I had total burnout. And
now I really protect my mental health very very much so,

(06:53):
and I turned down a lot of offers. Now I
don't really want to work on the weekends. When TV
shows asks me to go on and be a guest
on Saturday or Sunday morning, I often say no, I
work Monday to Friday. Kelly sets some boundaries, and it's
so easy to think, Oh, she's rich, is famous, she's
the boss, she can do whatever she wants. There are
hundreds of people who are relying on Kelly Clarkson for

(07:16):
their living. Everybody on that show pays their rent, pays
their mortgage because of Kelly Clarkson people on the tour.
It's the same. Then add on top of that agent's
shady managers, and suddenly you have this really toxic environment.
I do hope, I do hope that Kelly follows a
heart here, she decides what she wants to do. Kelly,
you do have the power think about yourself for a minute,

(07:38):
not about others, Which brings us to our pole question
of the day. Kelly Clarkson canceled her show in Vegas
just ninety minutes. I'd be so mad. Ninety you fly
to Vegas, I know I would be book a hotel
and then she's not there. Our whole Vegas trip was
to go and see Kelly Clarkson and she doesn't show up.
I'd be so mad. However, our big question is should

(07:58):
we all be worried about Kelly? Is there something bigger here?
She's trying to say she's devastated. I'm sure she is.
She's trying to say it's she's just been working non
stop and her vocal courts. I'm hearing there's more to
it than that. Should we be worried about Kelly clocks
and hey Gey votes on our Twitter page I hadntynized
rama Facebook pages naughty gossip and be sure to check

(08:20):
back tomorrow to hear your results. Heke Garret Love, Let
are you working on this so?

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Rob?

Speaker 3 (08:25):
You've been to many lavish weddings, I'm sure over your
year and you know what, and it's so big Sometimes
you just you just want to go to sleep after it.
You want to take you want to take a day off.
Tom Brady did the opposite. After attending the Betos wedding,
he decided to go to a beatha and hang out
with Dakota Johnson. Dakota Dakota Johnson and Kate Hudson on

(08:46):
a yacht. You know, like the photos over the weekend
of him just shirtless with a hat on and his
goal chain, Like he looks like he's twenty two years old,
fresh out of the gym, I mean, looking good, very jealous,
I mean, dad bod will.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Never exist on Tom Brady. Let's just say it as
it exists.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
But yeah, he was hanging out and and you know
the rumors starts swirling. You know, Dakota and Kate are
are vying for his attention. How can you not the
dude sitting on a back of a yacht in a
chair with two beautiful women just you know, hanging out
talking to him, probably about like just life in general

(09:25):
and whatever. And you know, here here we are judging him.
But but you know they had you know, Brady had
his daughter on board, Kate Hudson had her kids on board.
I don't know what Cooda Johnson had on board aside
from herself.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Maybe a friend.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
But you know, it's interesting to get an inside look
into something. You know, we know everybody's single on that
on that bone, and you know who.

Speaker 2 (09:52):
Knows where it goes from the air.

Speaker 1 (09:53):
Mm I think Kate still has her boy. Yeah, absolutely
right there. Yeah. I hit the phones because it was
this big explosion. Also, Sophia Viagara was on this boat
at some point. I don't know how you get on
and off this boat, but she was on it at
some point. Dingy, she's coming over in a canoe. And
so there's lots of rumors that Tom is now with Sophia.

(10:14):
Not true. Now this rumor's Tom is with Kate Hudson.
Not true, she has a partner. All these rumors bubble up.
I hit the phones that I've known Tom's career and
his friends for a really long time, and they said
that they were not being cruel here. This is going
to sound harsh. It's just not his type. He likes models.
Let's be really clear here. When Kim Kardashian was all
over him at the Hampton's party just a year ago,

(10:36):
and I hear she was pretty interested in him. Again,
he wouldn't be at the big Jeff bezos s wedding.
Not his type. Tom likes models, that's his thing. Kate
Hudson is amazing and gorgeous, none of his things. Dakota
Beginning Johnson gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, but she's not his type.
So he's not with these ladies. Now, I think we

(10:57):
can all agree looking at these pictures, Tom Brady is
all our type. I can't get over how good looking
his body. He's not twenty years old. He looks like
he's thirty. He's in his fifties. I think he looks incredible.
Just diet working out well, he's.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
On a very crazy diet, Like it was so crazy
that put him in such great shape. You know, he
decided to develop what they what he calls TV twelve
Tom Brady twelve. It's no different than any green juice
type thing, but a very extensive like microbiology. Like he
very in tune on top of working out. Yes, I mean, like,

(11:40):
let's be real, like we're never going to be like him.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Possible.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
You know, we could eat all the stuff that he's
pushing out, will never look like him or just be
as wealthy as him. But you know what, it's fun
to watch from this.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
It is fun to watch. It is fun to watch.
And thank you Tom. You know that this paparazzi following
this boat, you know this photographer everywhere, and Tom's quite
happy to jump up and have a shower.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Do you think rub Tom Brady right now, if you
were to like rank all the eligible bachelors, is number
one on that list?

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Is top five, absolutely top five. I met him a
couple of times. Very good looking, very nice guy. Not
as interesting as I like in person. I'm going to
say no more than that. I like a chatty caddy.
I like someone with a bigger personality.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
And talk about the defense of the future.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Musical theater with Tom. Maybe not okay, moving along, this
is a big deal. There's a Bravo battle brewing, so
the network is begging to move Liam McSweeney's trial, her
case behind closed doors. Let me explain the network Bravo
is scrambling to shift Liam msweeney is exclusive lawsuit out
of the public court and into private arbitation arbitration because

(12:50):
they're desperate to hide damaging evidence. Now her lawyers are
telling page six absolutely not. We want this to be open.
We want every but to see this, We want everybody
to hear this. She has some really explosive claims about
Andy Cohen, sexual harassment, drinking, bullying. She's going there inside

(13:11):
to say that brother are scared because they know Leah
knows everything. When they want to move it to arbitration.
That's a private, private trial that tells you she's got
something here. This is gonna be explosive. What do you think, Ah, yeah, no, if.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Whatever Andy Cohen can do to kind of make this
still go about without it exploding as the way it does.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
I mean, let's take the Diddy trial for instance.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
You know, would he have liked to have that behind
closed doors about what he likes to do in his
private life?

Speaker 2 (13:45):
A hundred percent.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
I don't think he wants the world to know that,
and I think this is the same situation. I think
just because of the magnitude of you know, Diddy versus
and not as popular a person as did he.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
It might be behind closed doors, right right.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
I think if the choice here, Andy, if you're listening,
Helloa loa loo, I've known Andy for years, If the
choice is to settle here and it might cost the network,
it might cost you millions of dollars, I would argue,
if this goes forward and she's got the type of evidence,
the type of stories we think she has, and it's public,
that would be worth millions and millions.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Of dollars from his apartment for this reason. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
No, he actually upgraded. He went from ten million to
twenty and he's doing just fine. So Andy's got the
money here. This is going to be really explosive, I
think too. The tide has turned on the Housewives. What
used to be really funny and really outrageous and really
entertaining now is a bit creepy watch and grown people
throw tables, spit at one another's paul hair, call each

(14:45):
other names. I don't find it funny anymore. Last time
I saw how I've not watched the show in years.
I used to be an addict. I used to watch
every episode I've not watched it in years. The last
time I saw it it made me feel sleazy. It
didn't feel right.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Do you think it's because you know, like take Jersey
Shore for instance, you got one cast, you know what
I mean? You got four or five members for the
last fifteen twenty years because of Housewives. With so many
people in invested or a part of the franchise, there's
going to be mess ups and there's going to be stories.

(15:18):
There's going to be these situations where there's court battles
about being treated on set. So the cast went from
you know, a core of like four or five women
to now, you know, twenty thirty forty women.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
It's a good point. I don't think it's about expanding
the size of the cast. And I think this is
true in real life. It's not about them, it's about us.
When you fall out with a friend, it's often not
what they have done, but you have grown. I've grown.
I'm not the same person I was ten years ago.
And they haven't grown. They're still doing the same shtick.
This has happened to me in real life. I've had

(15:52):
friends that used to amuse me NonStop with the shenanigans
and now I don't find it quite as funny, and
so I think we've changed maybe not the Okay, we're
going to take a quick break and then we'll be
right back.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
Welcome back to the.

Speaker 1 (16:04):
Nordy ve nicer and your H'm shot that your friend Derek Vogel. Hey, Gara,
let's get to the polls, dub Okay, where are we?

Speaker 3 (16:12):
So?

Speaker 1 (16:12):
Last year we talked about Orlando Bloom and Katie Perry
officially confirming they had split. We told you first, We
told you four months ago that this relationship was in
terrible trouble. Then about a month ago we started to
get the details that they were over. Now they have
confirmed it. Pat ourselves on the back. Congratulations. Are you
surprised now, naughties? This is a trick question because if

(16:33):
you've been listening to the show, you should not be surprised,
because I've been screaming it from the rooftops for at
least two months. So are you surprised? Ooh, you listen carefully,
my friends, Only twenty percent are surprised. You knew, we
knew first, noughties. Hey, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
Go to a Twitter page, had naughty nice rob or
our Facebook page, which is Naughty Gossip and be sure

(16:56):
to check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now
it's time and noisiest of the dag.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Oh yeah, well Brad Pitt talk about another very good
looking man.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
You know, number one movie in the country right now.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
So Brad Pitt was talking about the two co stars
who left him starstruck. Think about the amount of co
stars Brad Pitt has worked with over the course of
the year. Who could it possibly be. Well, if you remember,
he was in a movie called Filma and Louis Oh
his first movie, and he was he was star struck
by Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon. When I first met

(17:30):
Gina and Susan she said, yeah, I got yeah, I can't.
When I first met Gina and I was like, I
can't get over and through it. And Gina even returned
the compliment, saying that, adding that she knew that he
was destined to be a star, which I mean, you
like to hear that, you know, I love especially since

(17:51):
it was so long ago, you know.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Yeah, yeah, Well that's often when you are the most
stars struck, when you're early in your job. It doesn't
have to be a star, like a celebrity. Give me
somebody in your personal life. When you're young, when you're
in your early twenties, maybe nineteen eighteen, and you start
a job. I was starstruck with this lady called Dee.
I worked at a sports shop in Birmingham, England, a

(18:13):
short I was awful. I didn't know any of the
sports I was, but as a great salespersoniz Chiti chatter.
So I did work in a sports shop. I was
starstruck with the manager because I just thought she was
just so fantastic. So I think this is partially first job.
I also think too, they're both amazing, amazing actresses with
fantastic resumes. Are nicest of the day and now and

(18:34):
naughty's the day, nordly, noughty, naughty Kendall. Jenna has just
balanced a seventy five thousand dollars bag on her head.
Days after the Jeff Bezos wedding and now people are
like tone deaf. It's still I mean, it's just as
if they didn't rub our noses in this wedding. This
wedding really annoyed people, this fifty million dollar wedding. I

(18:54):
think it's tone deaf now Kendall Jenna putting your seventy
thousand dollar bag on her head. That, my friend, I
don't think it's funny. I'm with the backlash here and
autius the Daylet's end with a moment, everybody. Some of
the best days in your life have not happened yet.
The moments that are gonna make your laugh until you cry,

(19:15):
The moments that are going to change everything. People who
will love you the way you deserve to be loved.
They're all ahead. So when it gets hard and when
you feel stuck, and when you want to quit, Garrett,
keep going because life still has magic waiting for you

(19:36):
and your story. It's just getting started. It's just getting started. Hey,
that is it fall today. Thank you so much for
