Kelly Clarkson vented to her audience about the intense demands of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Wendy Williams’ latest social media post may have been all about Mother’s Day love — but noticeably missing was any mention of her own son, Kevin Hunter Jr. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reeling after being savagely mocked on Saturday Night Live, with sources telling #ShuterScoop that the royal duo did not take the joke lightly.

Rob is joined by his dear pal Garrett Vogel from Elvis Duran and the Morning Show with all the scoop. Don't forget to vote in today's poll on Twitter at @naughtynicerob or in our Facebook group.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
It's time Hello and no and no and no lo.
Welcome to the Naughty Butt Nysham your host Robin Shooter,
and it's Monday morning, which means our dear friend Garrett
Vogel joins us. Hey, Garrett, are you there me?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Hello, Hey, my friend.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Of busy busy weeks. At the start of the Diddy
trial this week. That's going to take up a lot
a lot of oxygen in the celebrity in the celebrity room.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Are you going to the courthouse at all?

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Justin I am gonna yeah, I am going to go down.
I don't want to be too much of like an
opportunist about this. I'm doing a few interviews. NBC and
different networks have asked me to speak about it, and
I certainly will, and I'm happy to give commentary on it.
I used to work with him over twenty years ago,
so I don't want to overplay my hand. Do you know,
like when you sometimes get asked to do stuff and

(00:57):
you're like, oh, I get it, but I don't quite
know as much about this is what you might think.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Do you?

Speaker 3 (01:01):
I mean, is it awkward though, because people want to
get as close to Ditty as possible or into his
inner circle. So are you getting asked like weird questions,
you know, like like awkward questions, like obviously I know
you and I know the truth, but but I feel
like reporters are going to be like, so have you
ever bought baby oil?

Speaker 2 (01:22):
You know, like yeah, no, But I think they're.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Legit questions, like this is a really serious matter, and
if you have truth on your side, you never have
to worry about anything. And so, just for the record,
I didn't see any of this stuff, and now I
feel a little naive. Remember when Harvey Weinstein was first accused,
and Meryl Streep and all these big celebrities came forward
and they were like, we didn't know. At the time,
I was like, I don't believe that. Now I do.

(01:44):
There's a lot of stuff that happens under your nose
that you never know, about people that live next door
to serial killers, and people that live in neighborhoods where
people are really bad. That's why they get away. That's
why they get away from the neighbors. Like I never expectence.
I had no idea my mother lived. She doesn't anymore,
but she lived in this really, really little small town.

(02:07):
It was like a village in Britain, and she happened
to live next door to a serial killer and she
did not know until one day it was disclosed that
he had murdered like ten or twelve people. And I
met this guy, his name was Fred West. I'd met him,
I'd looked over my mother's fence and said hello. And
so you'd never know. And that's why, that's why they

(02:27):
get away with it for so long. And that's why
these stories are so scary, because you want to think
a really bad person, you'd be able to tell. They'd
have a clue. Oh, i'd know if I saw you.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Guys see plenty of movies.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah, and yet they're always just regular, regular people. So
we'll be on to did his trial this week. Let's
jump in with some more nice news, some a little
bit more stimistic news. One time is it my friends
in his tea Time? So we finally had the real
reason why Kelly Clarks and he's thinking of quitting her
talk show. So we broke this news. I broke this
news a couple of weeks ago that Kelly's contract ends

(03:01):
next year, twenty twenty six, and there's a really good
chance she hasn't decided yet, but there's a really good
chance that she might not renew it. Well, now she's
doing a concert, so she's up I think in Connecticut,
Atlantic City. She's in Atlantic City week and she's doing
her show. She puts on a great show. I know
you're a huge fan, Garrett, and they've been many many times. Well,
she said that she hadn't really been touring for a while,

(03:24):
and it's hard to do this. It's hard to perform
when you've got a talk show. She's got a day job.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Now. She wanted to say it was her first show
in the almost six months.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
See, that's a long time. I'm told she really misses it.
I'm told that Kelly Clarkson, in her heart is a singer, songwriter, performer.
That's what she loves to do, and so she can't
do that to the extent she wants and do this
other job. And so this might be the reason, Garrett,
one of the reasons. I think her children too is
a big reason that she might step away from the

(03:54):
talk show. I say, good for her, be happy.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
What do you think that if this is just a
track negotiation, I'm gonna walk away. I'm gonna walk away.
How many people can go no, don't walk away. Kelly Clarkson.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Yeah, and the show's a hit, so NBC want her
to stay. I don't feel though, and I don't know
Kelly maybe as well as you do. You've met her
many many times. I don't think she's a shark. I
don't think she's Barbara Corkoran. I don't think she's on
Shark Tank. I don't think she's Mark Cuban. I don't
think that she plays that game. Although that isn't disrespect

(04:28):
a lot of people at the very top really play
hard when it comes to business, and that does not
make you a bad person. It makes you a smart person.
But Kelly doesn't strike me as a Madonna. Madonna would
do something like this. I just don't think Kelly's got
those teeth. But I might be wronged, Like, you know,
to get to be Kelly Clarkson, you gotta have some
sharp elbows.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Well, you know what. It's a love hate, you know.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
As much as I want to say I sit down
and watch the Kelly Clarkson show, I do from time
to time, but I'm more inclined to go to a
Kelly clar And concert and sit down and watch Kelly's
show every day, you know what I mean. So I
think there is a majority of those people that would
rather see her live and experience music. And you could tell,
like I had friends there over the weekend getting to

(05:15):
see her.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
They want both nights. They won Friday night and Saturday nights.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
And wisely enough, Kelly takes off Sunday because it was
Mother's Day here in America and she hung out with
her kids.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
But you could just tell she was like, I miss this.
I want more of this, yo.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Yeah, yeah, I think that is amazing in life to
know your passion, to know what you love, and to
be smart enough to know that you miss it, and
then to be able to have the economic security that
you can change things. I miss eating ice cream and
lying on the beach.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Totally different, totally different.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
I'm sorry, but I don't have the finances to let
me do that full time. Now, you have to remember,
Kelly's not retiring. She's gonna go back to the stage.
If you hear all those stories that she's retiring, she
is retiring from her talk show. I think, I really
do think she's gonna leave that show. But I think
we're gonna see a lot of her. I know, she's
got a Vegas residency. She loves to tour. She's probably

(06:15):
gonna I think she just put out some new music.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
She has her on record label. Now.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
I think we're gonna hear a lot about Kelly clarks
So she's not disappearing exactly.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
No, I agree, And it's only a matter of time.
Like it's you know, I think she just was in
the right place at the right time with Ellen kind
of you know, being forced out and being forced to
retire from her talk show. You had someone nice. They
were looking for, probably the nicest person around. She was
Kelly Clarkson.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
She's the nicest person around. I know people who work
on that show, they love her. Said, she's absolutely great.
She's on time, she's played, she knows everybody's names. There's
no drama there.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
Here's another great thing too. And and take this for
your own self in your everyday life. When you walk
into a room, be the first one to compliment someone
on something, their hair, their shirt, their smell. They will
remember it till the day that they die. Whoever you are,
so you usday. And Kelly does that all the time.
Oh she does love your shirt, I love your hair.

(07:17):
And she's being genuine. It's not like it's being forced.
She literally finds something positive about you and it shows.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
She's a good, good person. Kelly, whatever you decide here
is going to be the right choice, which brings us
to our pole question of the day. Kelly Clarkson might
have revealed the real reason she's ready to walk away
from her talk show, which is she wants to perform more.
What do you think? Do you prefer Kelly as a
talk show host or as a singer? You can only
have one and now we want both. You can only people, Garrett,

(07:46):
you've already told us about you think. I think I
like the talk show, but I want to know what
you think. Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty
Nice rob. Our facebook page is Naughty Gossip. Sure to
check beck Marat to heat your results. Hey, Garrett, Well,
yesterday being Mother's Day here in America.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
Having Mother's Day to all those that are watching and
listening to But if you were checking social media, Wendy
Williams had a little message out there for Mother's Day.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Where she kind of uh snubbed her son and people
were like, oh, no way.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
But if if you're following along, uh, there was someone
missing her son, Kevin Hunter Junior, and insiders are saying
that it wasn't an oversight, it was intentional. He's out
there in a close source to Uh, I love.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
This the scooter scoop, scoop the scoop.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
I appreciate you for creating it, though the people around
Wendy don't uh don't want Kevin anywhere near her. And uh,
you know, a post like that just shows that it's working. Uh,
you know, and you know, Wendy thank fans as as
she always does, uh and for exposing the horrific situation

(09:03):
that she is currently in and promise from updates from
Legal's Wendy Fighter of course, but zero reference of her
being which is weird though, But like thinking about it
after watching it, I don't know, like a lot of
moms going Happy me Day, you know what I mean,
it's everybody else, you know.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
So what did her son do? Was the question that.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
He didn't do anything? I know, Kevin, I wish you'd
posted Happy Mother's Day. It's not for Wendy to wish
her son a happy Mother's Day. It's for him to wish.
Although when you do reference Mother's Day, you might say
the greatest accomplishment is being your mom. You might get it.
I'm told she did not write this post. So Wendy
has a new team around a new people, and they're
writing these posts. When I read it, I've known Wendy

(09:46):
a really long time, it didn't sound like her. I'm
not saying she would ignore her son, but just the
way that she phrased stuff. This post really felt felt
kind of formal, and it felt almost like legally. It
felt like a lawyer had put it together. So I
don't think Wendy wrote this, but I do know Wendy
reads this stuff, so she could have easily said to
her assistant her friends add Kevin, I want to say happy.

(10:06):
I would say something, and she didn't seem to do that.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
I think then her staff now like and because this
is and notice this while you're scrolling social media, do
you think her staff trying to write in Wendy's voice?
Did a chat GPT write me a post about my
current Williams currently.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
I think it would have been better. Yeah, I recommend
do that. Take Garrett's advice. If you're listening, galololo, it
would have been a better post. This sounds like it's
not even trying to be Wendy. It could have been
Brian Williams or Lester Holt. It was very business business like.
It wasn't at all Wendy Williams. But what I think
is alarming here, and I hit the fanes And as
you know, I've known Wendy for a really long time.

(10:50):
I'm told there's a new group around Wendy. And she
doesn't always have the best vision, choice selection process. She
often finds people around her who want something from her,
maybe some of her fame, maybe some of her power.
And so there's people around Wendy now. And if you

(11:11):
notice when she's going out to restaurants, she's being papped.
How are they finding her? Wendy Williams is a good story,
but it's not Megan Markle. They're not sitting outside Wendy's
apartment waiting for her to leave. They're not following Wendy,
and she's not going to restaurants that are necessarily celebrity hangouts.

(11:32):
So how are they finding her at an obscure Italian
restaurant on the lay? Somebody is tipping them off, Somebody
is telling them. I don't think it's Wendy, So who's
doing that? So check the pictures of Wendy. Who's in
those pictures? Who from her past has popped back up
into her life? Do they mean well? And I guess

(11:53):
if you ask them they to say yes. But I
think it's always a little bit about them too. So Wendy,
if you're listening, I know you do. Lower, lower, low,
Be careful history. I don't want it to repeat itself here.
I want good people around you. Okay, moving along. Saturday
Night Live had a really savage joke. I laughed. It
was very funny about Harry and Meghan. Carlin Joys can

(12:14):
do no wrong. He's so dead pan, he's so cheeky.
He was talking about this new trade agreement between the
UK and United Kingdom and the USA, and equipped all
Britain's demand in return for this agreement is that you
keep those two and up popped a picture of Harry
and Neda. Everybody laughed, while sources are telling me they

(12:35):
were a little hurt by it and they don't find
this stuff funny. Now, let me just put this into
some context. One't Saturday Night Live made fun of Holder
and Kathy Lee. I saw Kathy Lee the next day
on a Monday, so not the Sunday, so it aired
on Saturday. I didn't see her. SIN saw her on
the Monday. She didn't find it funny, she found it
really insulting. It was Holder that had to explain to

(12:55):
Kathy Lee, it's a great honor the fact Deessa and
now are talking about us. It was sort of culturally relevant.
It is an honor. It took Kathie a minute to
appreciate it. Another person that made fun of just once
was Andy Cohen, and I was told Andy complaint is
part of NBC and they've never touched Andy. Since I
think we would be able to laugh at ourselves. I

(13:16):
hope I would guarante.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
You think, and you know, maybe the first time go
around it might hurt and then you have to take
a second to kind of just sit with it. And
then but again, even if they're not talking about Megan
and Harry, not just on SNL or just if the
press is quiet about it, they've caused something for us
to talk about them. So is there They're a victim
of their own fault, you know, for for being upset

(13:38):
over something that they would have desperately wanted if no
one was saying anything whatsoever, you know, like, yes, I mean,
it's a badge of honor at the end of the day.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
It's a badge of honor. It's a badge of un
it's sort of funny, and you know, it's always a
little bit. It's this thing that comedy, isn't it. Is
it mean or is it funny or no?

Speaker 3 (13:55):
I do you think the UK actually said to the US, Okay,
we will agree on this trade agreement as long as.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
You keep way. I think it's funny. Okay, quickly, before
we get a break. Miley Cyrus is playing Piece Me
Ma Care between her parents. She's now speaking to her
dad again. Her mom and followed her. But I think
that was an accident. What's going on?

Speaker 2 (14:17):
Mom?

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Mom pretty much said the every mom excuse when it
comes to social media, that she was just messing around
with her phone and somehow she unfollowed her daughter. You know,
like that was something like our parents would say, like
even our great grandparents, you know, trying to use the
Facebook or the Instagram for the first time. But I

(14:38):
you know, I think Miley kind of realized that at
the end of the day, you know, mom and dad,
there's still mom and dad no matter what, and they
they would like She would like for.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Them to get along.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
They don't have to be together, but still get along,
because that's a good point. At the end of the day,
they are her parents. My mom and I are too
tight for anything to ever come between us, she wrote
on social media, talking about her mom on following her
on social of course, but so but sources close to us,
we're saying that the truth is a little bit messier.

(15:07):
Tris didn't sign up for the reunion of course, between
Billy and her, but she did it because of her daughter, Miley, Soley.
Miley definitely playing some form of peacemaker. To what degree
do we get peace, I don't know, but at least
there's something there and it's going to start somewhere right.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Yeah, absolutely, they're trying. Okay, we're going to take a
quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
to the order of that Nishan, Your host, Rob Garrett,
Vigel Busy, busy day. Let's get to the polls. Last show,
last we talked about the Beckhams really now having this
toxic power game of random People are saying that the

(15:49):
Beckhams are quite difficult to work for. They're not really
that light. That question is quite simple. Do you believe
that Victoria and David are the new Ellen? We can
hear these two. Let's have a look. Sixty percent said yes,
you do believe that there's lots of stories here that
will come out. It's amazing. All it takes is one event,

(16:09):
one person to say something. And this happened recently with
a family member not getting along with Victoria, and now
everybody around them is coming forward with a story. It's
all gonna come out. Hey, don't forget to vote on
today's Paul Gonna Twitter page had naughty Nice rob facebook
page is Nordy Gossip and be sure to check back Tom.

(16:31):
Here your results are. Now it's time for a nicest
of the day.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Oh well, you know it.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
When I read about this, it made me remember, go,
oh my god, they were together. Nicole Kidman was totally
shocked in a positive way by Tom Cruise's praise. Just
the other day, Tom Cruise out promoting his new Mission
Impossible movie, and Tom Cruise sixty two was calling Nicole
Kidman a great actress while talking about their film White

(17:00):
Shut that that was the first movie that I ever
you know, saw people naked on screen.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
That was a very a very.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
That was my first movie that I ever saw.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
But you know, so the couple divorced back in two
thousand and in one. They were together, which is weird
to even think about how long they were together, eleven years.
They had two adopted children. But they you never heard
from them after it, no interactions. This is kind of
like the first time he is speaking out a really
for very positive way.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
And he said working with her was a great experience.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
I mean subtle, but still I think it speaks volumes
to just their relationship.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
Big deal. They've not spoke about each other since the divorce.
There was rumors with a divorce agreement, there was a
non disclosure where they couldn't talk about one another. I
know that relationship has been difficult, particularly because of scientology
and the Cole never ever talks about Tom. So for
Tom to suddenly bring up Nicole, maybe there's a little bit.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Of maybe my little bit has brought them back together.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
We've got to send her to the Middle East and
everywhere else. Okay, let's do and is naughty naughty? Oh
it's Bethany Frankel. So Bethany Frankel. He's giving Andy Cohen
advice on how to produce The Housewives. I'm not joking.
So Andy Cohen is brushing off Bethany's advice. It was
unsolicited advice. There was a story out there this weekend
that The Real Housewives of New York is going to

(18:22):
go on the hiatus, maybe be canceled. It looks as
if they're going to recast the show. It hasn't done
so well. However, New York still makes a lot of
money for Bravo internationally, so in London and Paris and
all around the world. The Housewives they watch the most
is New York and Beverly Hills, and that's because they
know those they do that the ladies didn't. They got

(18:43):
a fee. Andy Cohen made a lot of money from it,
and so Bethany gave some advice, saying it was a
bittersweet that the show was ending, and then she went
on to say why she thought the show was ending.
Sources close to Andy are not laughing. They're saying she's
never had a hit without it. She has done many,
many different shows, including a talk show that was a

(19:04):
real failure. The other reality shows she's done with that
and the didn't work.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
So beth and a.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Skinny did well that's where she made her money, so
keep your advice. Let's end with a moment of you,
get a Robbie, Get a Robbie. You are the keeper
of your own happiness, so stop handing over the keys
to your piece. Your happiness doesn't belong to your partner,
or to your boss, or to your followers. It belongs
to you. So protect it, prioritize it, and own it. Yes,

(19:37):
because you are the keeper of your own happiness. Hey,
that is it for today. Thank you so much for
listening to The Naughty Bit Nights with Rob and Garrett show,
a production of iHeart Radio. Don't forget to subscribe on
the Apple app Apple Podcast. Wherever you listen, you might
have noticed I have a little bit of a summer cold.
Today's I'm a little bit froggy. I sound worse than

(19:59):
I feel, so I'm sure I will feel. That's all
that Madders Garrett Tay. Let's end with that tag line. Remember,
if you've got to be naughty, you got to me
nice just to take care of everybody.
