Speaker 1 (00:08):
Scable Advice, shog Spice nice. Hello, hello alone, Welcome to
the Naughty but Nice. I'm your host, Rob Shooter. It's Tuesday,
which means I dear friend Delena Dickson m d joins us. Hey,
mimst are you there? I am. I am mister up

(00:28):
to lots and lots of fun. What's been going on
with you? Mr? Oh my goodness. I went to Brooklyn
Chop House in Times Square. I took my cuse. We
ate some ribby, we had some dumplings. It's this Chinese
American owned restaurant. It is black owned and it is amazing,
and they're going to open up their rooftop. Mr Shooter,

(00:49):
I'm taking me for a frisday. We actually went to
see a musical next to a Paradise Square and we
walked in Member mist We said, what's this new place? Yes, musiful,
I'm planned to actually went in and tried the food.
It's delicious, Yes, delicious. I can't wait to take you
to the will be going. Hey, let's jump into the show.
What time is it, my friends? It is Teardi is

(01:11):
proving that TikTok might soon be ruled by the over
forty crowd. Let me explain, kimms forty one, and she's
pretty much the queen of social media. She has joyant
TikTok and has racked up millions of followers in just
a few days, paving the way for forty plus something's
miss d to sign up to a playground that was

(01:33):
once thought of as belonging exclusively to gen Z. So,
according to some new data, about fifty percent of people
that use TikTok, they are either gen Z or they
are young millennials. However, the fund does not have to
stop when you hit forty So despite gen Z has

(01:53):
been bashed for their social media craze, both gen X
and baby boomers they like TikTok two. They like social
media too, and they comprise about it's more than I
thought of the users on the app. Now Kim is
joining the ranks of people like Reese with a Spoon.
She's forty six on TikTok, Kate Hudson is forty three,

(02:16):
she's on TikTok, and of course Madonna, who's sixty three,
she's on TikTok to. What do you think about Kim
signing up? Um? I mean she was going to do
it at some point, right, it's a social media platform,
and that's what we have to think about here. If
you have a product or a service, or if you
are a brand, you know that you're going to market

(02:38):
to your followers on social media. So it's it's kind
of surprising that it took her this long to sign
up to TikTok. But let me tell you something. We've
got so many social media platforms. Just adding one more,
even for a Kadashian must be like, really, I gotta
do this, but Shack gotta, you gotta now me. You
are not going to see miss d on on TikTok.

(02:59):
I just asked, check out my Instagram, on Twitter, I'm
on Instagram, I'm on Facebook. It's it's one too many
for me to miss. I'm not signed up to it.
I do think, though, I'm not sure Kim does it
all herself, missting like you and we don't have any help.
I think Kim has a little bit of help. I
imagine she does on all these platforms. I like the

(03:19):
fact she's signed up to it, though, because if anybody
who's over forty can be accepted on this app, it
is Kim Kardashian. And I also think what sources are
telling me is that she's trying to reach a younger crowd.
So I was just going to say that if you
want to reach these this Gen Z or even the next,
the next generation which will be Gen Alpha, if anybody's curious,

(03:42):
then you need to be where they're going to go to,
and TikTok is one of those places. Now I'll be
interesting to see if her boyfriend, Pete Davidson pops up
on TikTok. He's not a big social media person, so
you know, I'm wondering if he's going to support her,
and that that interesting. Maybe she'll make videos of the
two of them and post I should point out, though,

(04:02):
as somebody in my late forties, just because I go
to clubs or bars where young people hang out, it
doesn't mean that I can influence them. They don't care
about me. I look like Grandpa Noses. That's why I
don't go to those clubs. So if anybody can reach
young people, and once again, Kim is only forty one,
But if anybody can do this, who's over forty, my

(04:25):
bet is on Kim Kardashian. I think she might pave
the way. I don't know, but what I do want
to know? Is what you think? So Kim Kardashian is
trying to prove that TikTok is not ruled exclusively by
the under forty crowd. Is Kim too old for this app?
What do you think? Is Kim she's forty one? Is

(04:47):
she too old to be on TikTok? Hey? Go vote
on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rabo Facebook page
Naughty Gossips. See all these all these social media sites
are are the I'm be sure to check back tomorrow.
Oh well, this is kind of really shocking. But Aunt

(05:09):
instead has been denied emergency bid for full custody of
his son with his ex. So his ex is actually
Christina Hall, you know her from Flip or Flop or
Christina and the co's Well. While they were married between
two thousand eighteen two thousand twenty, they had a son together,
two year old Hudson London, and he put in for

(05:31):
full custody, but an Orange County Superior Court judge ruled
Aunt had insufficient showing of extinggent circumstances to change the
custody for his two year old son. The ruling also
stated that the notice to the other party was not adequate. Basically,
Aunt did not give Christina enough time to make this bid.

(05:53):
So now a court date has been set for June,
so both parties have enough time to make their arguments
or whether not the request to change should go through.
And Christina really put out a statement saying how she
felt about this, and she said, what Ann has done
deeply saddens me. If this was really about Hudson, as

(06:14):
he says, this should have been handled privately or with
a private judge and mediation, as myself and my attorney
have suggested. I've had my shares ups and downs, but
I am a good mom and I love my children
with all my heart and I will protect them. I mean,
what do you think about this? Rob him saying he
wants fore custody to this story, I think for him

(06:37):
to do this so publicly, I don't know if he's
trying to shame her. I don't know if there's more
to this than we don't know, although I imagine he
would tell us he's not dating Renai's Elwigger, so he's
become like a star. I was sort of familiar with him,
but now I'm very familiar with him. It seems like
it's really ugly, and I think mist my sources are
telling me it's only going to get worse. Okay, let's

(06:59):
move long. So Elizabeth Mars is defending scientology and a
new interview, she sat down and talked about being really
a second generation scientologist. She's been a long, long member
of scientology, and she said that she doesn't want to
come across as Kanji as somebody who doesn't want to
answer questions about scientology, but she also knows that if

(07:20):
she does, it's going to distract from her work. So
she did respond to several rumors, including one that she
fled an award show when Leah Remany, one for a
docuseries for her anti scientology documentary, and another whether cursing
at the Emmy. She won the Emmy in two thousand
and seventeen and she said the F word. Some people

(07:42):
said at the time that that was a Scientology thing. So,
first of all, let's address the first rumor. Did she
run out of the awards because of Leo REMANI? She said, no, no, no,
that did not happen. I'm an open book, and she
said that she went to the bathroom and that's why
people thought she left the ceremony. She said she's never
met Leah. They're not friends, they don't know each other,

(08:03):
and so she said she doesn't think that's any big deal.
She did address this infamous Emy acceptance speech for Handmaid's Tale,
which I love. She dropped the F bomb while thanking
her Mommy the Hollywood Reporter they are very respectable outlet.
They wrote a story at the time saying that scientologists
often use profanity when addressing non members, So mom not

(08:27):
a member? Is that why she did it? Elizabeth said
that peed me off. She said that was a really
big moment for me and a big moment for for
my mom. And she said, my mom has supported me
through years and it's been an incredible mother to both
me and my brother. And to tell a lie like that,
I don't deserve it, and it was wrong. So whatever
you think about scientology here, I think she handled herself

(08:50):
really beautifully. Misty. I think she took those two questions.
One about Leah Remane. Now, did she go to the
bathroom because Leah was just about to win? Probably? I
mean maybe, But I think answering about her mom and
using the effort that makes sense. What do you think, Yeah,
It's always so tricky when you talk about people's religion

(09:10):
or politics. You know, you have to respect what somebody
believes in. And if she believes in scientology, so be it.
That is her choice. But for anybody who's watched the
documentaries that Leah put out, I'm sure people have a
lot of questions about scientology, and I agree with you.
I think she handled this just right. She gave a
little bit of information she put down obviously about the

(09:33):
going to the bathroom. Nobody can say anything. We can't say, oh,
she went to the bathroom because Leah was on. We can't.
We can make that assumption, but you know, we can't
see anything. She answered it. And again I'm upset that
a moment that was dedicated to her mom, and you
know how I feel about mama's that people are are
are dissecting. Let her have her moment to thank her mom.

(09:54):
We all wish we could get up on stage and
tell the world how much we love are right now
as we have a mutual friend who worked on Man Men,
the TV show, which is where Elizabeth really became a star.
Over Night She's she was a long working actress. I
met her many times at different events for man Men,
some private dinners, and she talked about scientology. I had
quite a few conversations with her about scientology, and she

(10:16):
does not hide it. She's not embarrassed about it, she said,
as as she said in the story, I'm an open book.
I don't hide it. But she said, I don't want
that to become the headline. She said when when you
watch My Weather, I wanted to be about me being
an actress getting into a part. I don't want it
to overshadow it. But I don't want be KG two.
So I think well handled. Despite what you think or
may not think about scientology. Hey, moving along, Amber Heard

(10:40):
has fired her PR team. What's going on? Mr? First
of all, I have to just say the Amber Heard
and Johnny depp saga is the TV of the moment.
If you're not watching, you've got a tune in. But basically,
Amber does not like the way she's coming across Johnny
Depp is on the stands right now. So she has
hired the crisis public relations firm, Precision Strategies. So one

(11:04):
of my sources are telling me she doesn't like the bad,
bad headlines that are coming out about all the things
Johnny Jepp is saying, and she's frustrated with her story
not being told effectively. So if you don't know the
whole saga, Basically, Johnny filed a lawsuit against Amber in
two thousand nineteen that accused her of defaming him by

(11:25):
referring herself as a victim of domestic violence and a
Washington Post piece that she wrote. Now, she did not
name him in the article, but they both have accused
each other of being physically abusive to one another. Now,
like I said, the trial has produced dozens of headlines.
You just go to YouTube, there's some really really inventive headlines.

(11:48):
And basically what she's done is she's hired David Shane.
He's the president and CEO of Shane Communications. They do
this kind of critical image consulting strategies and rob obvious.
You know, for a long time, precis publicist for many
different starts including j LO and did He Alicia Keys,
Naomi Campbell. This is a mess. This whole trial is

(12:10):
a mess. And any publicist that pretends they can get
you good headlines while this is going on, they're not
telling you the truth. This is not going to be
over until it is over. I don't think there's going
to be any winners here. Abe quickly, before we get
a break talking about someone that's not winning. Netflix has
dropped Megan mark All. She had a new animated series

(12:31):
with them called Pearl. She was working on it with
Elton John's husband, David Furnish, and now they pull the
plug on it. It's not going to happen. It was
going to be produced by Archie Well Productions, her production company,
and it was going to cent her around the adventures
of a twelve year old girl who inspired different women
and was also inspired by different women in history. Now,

(12:52):
this decision to cancel her show comes after Netflix reportedly
lost about two hundred thousand subscribers in the first quarter.
I think this is the first time this is coping
to Netflix. So obviously, if the company is not doing
that well, they got to pull back and they gotta
cut some of their shows. And they're not going to
cut their big hits, They're going to cut the stuff

(13:12):
that they're a bit worried about. So the projects that
might have been vanity projects, I'm not saying this is
but the projects that were more of a gamble are
the ones they pulled back on. This is not good
news for Megan though, Oh it's okay. Well, first of all,
I just want to make it clearer that it's not
because of Megan Markel. It is about money. So basically,

(13:32):
you said two hundred thousand subscribers have kind of left,
and there's anticipating that there's more. That translates to about
fifty billion dollars of revenue for our Netflix. So yes,
they have to cut those projects that aren't big huge.
We know we're going to get tons and tons of
viewers or people are going to resubscribe to see them.

(13:53):
But she's still doing the project where they're covering the
Invictus Games. We know, we saw the Netflix crews out there,
so it's still coming to Netflix. So they're still working
with art Well, which is Harry and Megan's production company.
But when it comes down to money, even even people
like the Duke and Duchess of Sussext are susceptible. Yeah,

(14:14):
gotta make Netflix money to stay on. You got to
make some money. You gotta pick, you gotta get people
to watch, and that makes the money. And we're gonna
take a big break and we will be right back.
Welcome back to the Nordy but nic show. I'm rob
shooting with our dear friend Mt. Hey, Misty, let's get
to the polls that yesterday we talked about Harry Styles

(14:36):
supporting Olivia after she was served with custody papers in public.
We asked our your team Harry or are you team Jason?
A naughty question there, Wow, team Jason. Eighty percent of
you our team Jason. I'm team Jason too. I don't
like this paper business. I don't like this custody serving

(14:57):
one another. I don't like the way it happens. So
as a saying, Jason had no idea he was going
to go down in this manner. And you look like
you all agree. Hey, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
Going to a page and laughtinized Ramba or a Facebook
page which is naughty gossip. You can leave a comment
there and this you to check back tomorrow to hear

(15:19):
your results. And now it's time for our nice nice
of the day. Now, last night was the big Net Gala, Mysta,
you're gonna give us a little bit of history here.
You're gonna point out I knew, I know it was
with such a fantastic night and the theme for the
met Galla last night was gilded Glamour. So according to

(15:41):
my good friends Sarah Jessica Parker, I wish. She says
that following the theme is a key part of any
successful met Gala look, and that's why we saw so
many incredible outfits following the Gilded Age theme last night.
So you have to think tail code, wait, waistcoats, flora length, gowns,

(16:03):
so many great things, and it was it was imbuying
the Gilded Age of New York. If you watched the
HBO show, you know that's when Barrens made lots and
lots of money. Is in the late nineteenth century. That's
when we had buildings like the wald Offertoria and the
Metropolitan Club built. So you just wanted to kind of
emulate that glamorous. Let's do our naughtiest of the day.

(16:27):
Miranda Lambert is saying that she wasn't prepared for the
tabloid frenzy after she broke up with Blake Shelter. Let
me be clear here, I'm not saying Miranda's the naughtiest
of the day. I'm saying it's the tabloid press and
reporters like me for being a little bit too nosy,
So she said at times it just wasn't very nice
and she could take it with a grain assault. She
knows what she signed up for when she wanted to

(16:48):
be a singer songwriter, but she said, I can't, I
can't lie. I wanted to be about my music, not
always about me, and normally is about my music until
something big happens, like a divorce. She called her divorce horrible,
and she said it was like something had died, and
what she wasn't prepared for is as well as dealing
with this death, she also had to deal with this

(17:09):
enormous amount of pressure of being under the microscope, and
she said it taught her that Hollywood is just something
she doesn't want to be part of. She said it
was a shock to her system and as a scoopio,
she's very private and protective and that's why now she
tries to keep out of the public spotlight. I think

(17:29):
she does a good job at it. What do you think?
I agree? I agree, And I have to say if
you want to get over obviously going through a divorce,
our business, we want to know everything. We want to
know if you're crying in the bathroom, and going through
boxes of tissues. The best thing you can do if
you are an actress a musician is pursue your craft.

(17:50):
Show us why you became famous in the first place,
and put out a new album, put out your new record,
put out your new movie, and and make that the
talking points. And that when you are out and somebody
can ask you, oh, so what about your divorce, you say, hey,
right here, It's all about the music, and that's all
you can do. Right, and stay off of social media. Hey,

(18:12):
let's end with a moment wrong you're going. My book
is full of celebrity quotes, over a hundred celebrity quotes,
and this one I was flicking from my book and
this one pomped out and I wanted to share it.
To dates from Amy Schumer, she said the following rum
I say, if I'm beautiful, I say, if I'm strong,
you will not determine my story. I will. How many

(18:35):
times have we left the way we feel in somebody
else's hands. It's a mistake. I'm going to say if
I'm beautiful, and I'm going to say, if I'm strong,
you're nuts. What do you think? Mistake? Oh? This is
so interesting just having this conversation about young girls looking
into the mirror. I remember when I was a kid

(18:56):
and my mom I was looking in the mirror saying
I was beautiful. My grand other said, oh, you know,
that's a little bit kind of selfish or kind of
self entitled. And my mom said, if they don't tell
themselves they're beautiful, well, it has to start with within.
You have to tell yourself you're beautiful, because there's a
lot of people out there who want to tear you
down for whatever reason. So you have to be strong

(19:18):
enough to tell yourself and don't care what the outside
world says. If you believe it, then it's true, and
you know what, it'll radiate, radiate out to the right.
All right, that's it for today. Thank you so much
