Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice Shooter spe.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Welcome to the North Banica. I'm your host, Rob Shooter,
and it is Wednesday, which means our dear friend Donnie
Meacham joins us. Hey, Donnie, are you there?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Hello le Loo, It's Wednesday and I I'm a little
under the work though. There's a little rest but toy
thing here going on in La. Oh you know what
it is. It's actually crazy. So you know, we had
the hurricane here in a life, so really what it
is is so down south. It really just blew a
lot of stuff up, and it's stuff that LA is
not used to. You know. Now we have mosquitoes for

(00:46):
the first time and forever because it blew all the
mosquitoes up into La. Were like, what we we're getting?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Oh, it's the end of the world. Well, thank you
for joining you do well, make sure that you can
rest your voice a little bit today because I love
to talk you. Oh look, you managed to get a
few words out. Then try shutting you up, sweetheart. I know,
either with laryngia or whatever you've got, you're still going

(01:14):
to manage to soldiers for what time is it? My friends?
It is tea time. The latest attempt to tarnish. Meghan
Markle comes at a very telling time. So there's a
new bombshell interviewer in the UK Good Morning Britain, and
it's her dad, her a strange father, Thomas Markl. I

(01:34):
thought we'd heard the last of him, but no we haven't.
Now he's singing a really sad story, saying his heartbroken.
He's so upset that he has not been able to
meet his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibert. Now that's really
emotional baggage there, Dad is blackmail, emotional blackmail. He said,
it's a cruel thing to do to a grandparent, to

(01:56):
deny them the rights to their grandchildren. So in the
past he's talked about how much he missed Meghan, how
much he wanted to get to know Harry. Now he's
moved on to Archie and Lillabet. There is nothing. There
is nobody this man won't throw under a bus.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
What do you think, Well, first of all, you know
what actually helps Meghan Markle's reputation, Thomas Markel going out
there and continuously talking bad about her, because what it
does is it makes him look back. Yes, And so
I go, you know what, Megan, maybe you're doing the
right thing by keeping your kid away from this. Maybe
you're being the good mom, Maybe you're being the good person.

(02:33):
So I think what he is doing, which is the
opposite of what he wants, is actually helpful. That's so interesting,
humanized Meghan.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Yet, listen to Donnie, everybody, because the next time somebody
trashes you, they're actually helping you. Remember that. The next
time somebody says something horrible about you, don't fight back,
let them keep talking, because they actually become unwillingly You're ambassador.

(03:01):
They help you. People saying horrible things about you. It
doesn't make you look bad, it makes them look bad.
Although the timing here is a little off. So Meghan's
just had a glorious few days in Germany. The German
press were raving about her at the Invictus Games. At
the moment, Harry and Meghan seemed to be riding high.

(03:22):
Is it a coincidence that her dad comes forward? Now?
Do you think good Morning Britain reached out to him?
Do you think he reached out to them? Why is
all this happening now a bit of a coincidence? Not?

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Oh, of course, no, Good Morning Britain reached out to
him or Thomas Markle was like, oh, Meghan's in the news.
This is my cheest. So he reached He might. I
don't know if he has a publicist, he might, but
he reached out to a bunch of people. Good Morning
Britain bit first and he said and there.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Hello, hello, hello, Hello, hello hello. He reaches out himself.
He's reached out to several friends of mine in the
media and often too. There is a payment involved. I
don't know if Good Morning Britain pays, but it just
is so it's so outrageous, and talking about the grandkids,
that is for me, it's a bridge too far. If

(04:12):
you want to trash your daughter, I don't like it,
but I guess you can. But going after your grandkids
who you've never even met, it just for me. It
doesn't feel right. But I want to know what you
think about this, which brings us to our whole question
of the day. The latest attempt to trash Megan Markle
by her father comes at a very telling time. Did

(04:33):
he do this on purpose? Is this on purpose? This timing?
Is it coincidence? What do you think? Go vote on
out with it to paycheck? Naughty nice rob at facebook
page is naughty gossip and be sure as you check
back to my row to hear your results. Hey Donnie,
if you can manage this with your delicate voice, don't
blow your vocal cords. What are you working on? Well?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Britney Spears is teasing at dark things that she's endured,
but she seemingly won't cover them in her upcome book.
Although you know her book, The Woman in Me, it's
going to come out and roughly a month. She goes,
there's so much I've kept private that gone on with
me personally. Maybe one day I can let people know.
Until then, there's three sides to every story. Very interesting

(05:16):
because a source top page six that she didn't hold
back when writing the book, so no topic was awful limits.
But she's hinted there is darker things she's experienced in
her life, but she won't yet tell me. It makes
me wonder, like, what has this woman actually endured? We
know a lot of sad stories, but you're going, what
has what is actually endured? That? We don't know?

Speaker 2 (05:38):
What we know? But I do think this is very
bad timing, Brittany. And if I'm a your publisher, I
would be furious I've given you a check for fifteen
million dollars to tell all No wonder sources from the
publishing company are telling page six that she didn't hold back,
because who's going to want to buy a book if
it's not full of the truth this book, Brittany, you're
doing the opposite of marketing it. You're hurting it. Why

(06:00):
bother buying this book? If Britney's just told us there's
lots of stuff that she didn't include, I don't know.
I want to read the definitive book to pay what
is it twenty bucks to get my book? I want
that book to beat everything. I don't want half the
story or wait. I'd rather wait until she's ready to
tell everything than just tell little bits and pieces. Donny,

(06:22):
let me ask you, are we going to be disappointed
in this book?

Speaker 1 (06:27):
I don't think we're going to be disappointed. I think, though,
that we are expecting too much. I think we're expecting
an exposure and ourbed from Britney Spears that's going to
write every word, every gritty detail. No, it's a ghostwriter.
Brittany didn't sit down and write this book. Brittany told
stories that she remembered, and a ghostwriter wrote the version

(06:52):
of Britney's story, right right, That's what we have to remember.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
It is the same publisher as Prince Harry's Spare He
Went There, Harry Went There. That book to me did
not disappoint. In fact, some could argue it went too far.
It might have caused him trouble with the family down
the line. I want when I buy these books, particularly
when they are authorized not unauthorized biographies. When it's unauthorized,

(07:15):
authorized biography, memoir from a celebrity, tell all this is
your one moment. You can't trick me more than once.
I'll buy one book that isn't so great, but I'm
not gonna then buy the second one. So Brittany, honestly,
I do hope that you tell as much as the
story that you are comfortable with. But I think a
month before your book comes out, telling everybody that you

(07:39):
didn't include stuff, that there is stuff that happened in
your life that is too dark, that is not going
to help you, my friend sell any books. Okay, moving along,
I love this story. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were
spotted getting very very cozy together at a very suspicious time.
So the couple were seeing arm in arm in La.

(07:59):
But some people are pointing out that this comes just
two days after Ben was spotted with Jennifer Gardener in
what page six described as an intimate moment. So Ben
and Jennifer Gardner were in his car. She was in
the backseat, she was leaning forward and it looked a
little bit touchy feely. She had her head on his shoulder.
Now their daughter, Sarahina, who's fourteen, she was also in

(08:22):
the car, so there was nothing going on. This wasn't
like some naughty night in a car pulled by the
side of a road, Donnie, that you might have experienced
several times. Not me, because I'm a quality person. But
this is a moment that a lot of people online
are blowing up and saying, oh, it's so touchy feely.
Two days later, what does Jlo do? She takes Ben

(08:43):
to the farmer's market, which you know she's not running
to each week, and the two of them in the
farmer's market get very touchy feelo. What do you think?

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Well, first of all, I will say I don't have
an high I don't have a high uber reading for nothing,
darling you I totally I can see what you're saying.
But look, it's Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. They have
such a great relationship now that it's so beautiful to see.
But also I will say, Jennifer Garner is an extraordinary

(09:13):
human being. Did you see the photos recently of her
helping the homeless man in La She was in her car,
she saw only she gets out, takes her own socks,
bends down and puts them on the homeless man herself.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
It's true.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
She is just a national treasure. So Ben better treating
with respect.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
She does. You better believe it, Ben, if you're listening,
lo alow. But I do love Jala. Saw those pictures
in the car with j is us petty. You better
put somebodice clothes on because we go under the farmer's market.
I know, Donnie, Now you're somebody who gets a little
bit jealous, quite a user. If you saw your man
in a car with your X and they had their

(09:55):
heads on each other's shoulders, what would Donnie?

Speaker 1 (10:01):
I would find that car in weirdly enough to breaks
might go missing, fedistrange, strange happened. Check brace everybody. If
you're in that car.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
I might be a little a little curious about it too. Okay,
Moving along, Ariana Grande reportedly waited to file for divorce
for a very surprising reason. Donnie, what is it?

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Yes, So, Aerona Grande and Adulton Gomez had officially filed
for divorce after two years of marriage in separate court petitions.
According to TMZ that Think You next singer will in
the words of TMC cut Dalton, h ooh, the two
had a prenuptial agreement in place. They've been really caring

(10:49):
and respectful of one another, which I really loved to hear.
This also comes you know, the rumors day areon I
was cheating on him with her Wicked co star Ethan Slater,
But it looks likeana is.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
I don't know if you'd say it's the right thing
to do. But she obviously is a multimillionaire and he
is not, So I think giving him some money to
be like, hey, Swally, it's gonna be hard for you
to have a normal life now, so please this will
help you rebuild yeah life.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
I mean, she can lose a million or two and
not notice it. But I think this is interesting. Before
they filed the paperwork, they decided everything, so before they
went to court, the reason they delayed their divorce, Donnie,
was they wanted to figure everything out themselves. If you
cannot involve lawyers, if the two of you can sit
down and map this out, plan this out, ah, you
save a lot of money and be it does show

(11:38):
you that you can still communicate. I'm told she does
not hate her X. She doesn't hate Dalton. Dalton doesn't
hate her. They're both adults here, and let's be honest.
There's enough money in that family that both of them
can live glorious, glorious lives. This is the right thing
to do quickly before we get a break. Mark Wohlberg,

(11:59):
you say that he became a producer so he wouldn't
have to wait for Brad Peter, Leonardo DiCaprio or Tom
Cruise to reject role. So in a new interview, he
said he became a producer out of necessity. He was
sick and tired of sitting around waiting for Brad or
Tom to pass on a movie that he wanted to do.
He said he didn't get offered anything first. He was

(12:21):
always the second choice. They always went to Tom Cruise,
They always went to Brad Pitt. They then went to
Leonardo DiCaprio, and if they didn't, they didn't want to
do it. He finally got to do it, so he said, no, no, no,
Now I'm taking control of my career. I'm going to
start producing my own stuff. He also added in the
interview that he doesn't think he's going to be acting
for much longer. Brad Pitt said this too. Brad Pitt

(12:43):
said acting was a young person's game, particularly if you're
like an action star and there's a lot, a lot
of action in the movies. But I think this is
really interesting. Don't wait around for other people to make
your life decisions, do it yourself. I could probably be
perceived as more successful if I went to write for

(13:05):
a big gossip paper, if I went to page six,
if I went to Tams, if I went to Radar,
But Noah, I like being my own boss. I do
the stories I want. That's part of the joy of
this podcast, Donnie. Even though we're part of iHeart media,
thank you very much. iHeart were really our own bosses.
Nobody tells us what to do here, what subjects, what topics,
what celebrities to cover, And for me, that's worth more

(13:27):
than anything. I'll swear to you Donny.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
We all a lot of people they sit around and
they wait for somebody else to create the opportunity for them,
and you know a lot of times the opportunity is
not going to come. If you create the opportunity for yourself,
and then you could just revel in that moment, it
actually feels better knowing that you did it for yourself,
and you also write your friends along and you helped
everyone along.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
Yeah, I know what it feels like, you. I know
what it feels like. How the dickens? Am I going
to create an opportunity when I'm in this job I hate?
I got to just work out it to pay the bills.
I know that grind. I was on that grind for
a very long time, but then I took a step
back and it didn't happen every night. But start planning
your own future. Don't let anybody else planning for you,

(14:12):
and also be realistic about it. It's not gonna happen
in a week or a month. It could take years
to change your future. When I decided that I didn't
want to be a publicist anymore, it took me about
a year and a half two years to get out
of that job at that genre and into a new one.
But I knew I wanted to. Admitting that you want
to make a change means you're already on the process

(14:36):
of doing it. Hey, we're going to take a quick
break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
the Naughty Book. Nice show. I'm Rob Shooter with our
dear friend Donnie, who's blowing his nose. I can see
you on zoom. You're such a soldier. Thank you for
being with us today, Donnie, only five more minutes. You
can go back to bed. Let's get to the polls
DA DA DAA. Prince William has no plans to talk

(14:58):
to Prince Harry while in New York. William, he's in
New York just forty eight hours. Harry's actually in la
so he's not in New York. That would be awkward
if they were both in the same city. They're not,
but nevertheless, they're in the same country. But while he's here,
William has no plans to talk to Harry or even
talk about Harry. He's been offered every interview in the world,

(15:20):
every morning show, every TV show have offered William to
sit down interview, but he's passed on the mark because
he doesn't want to talk about his brother. Is this
a good idea or a bad idea? Let's have a look.
Any three percent said he is a good idea. I
agree this trip is about William, not Harry. Don't forget
to vote on today's pole. Were going to a page

(15:41):
at naughty nice robber Facebook pages naughty your say, am,
be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Donnie,
let's do a nicest of the day.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
The nicest of the day. Well, I mean this divorce
was message. Looks like Kevin Costner has come around and
he settled his divorce and he will give Christine Baumgartner
more money than their prenup initially dictated. TMZ reported the
model signed off on a three page settlement agreement after
a judge informed her that the prenuptial agreement would be enforced. Now,

(16:22):
this is very nice because granted is Kevin Costner, you
know he has money, but he doesn't have to. If
you have a prenup in place that says you get
exactly this much, you get exactly as much. The fact
that he came around and he gave her more, that
is very I will say nice of him.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Yeah, I like this, and I'm so sick of this divorce.
To be honest, I'm just glad that this story's over.
I hope we don't ever have to cover it again.
But this is rich people trouble. He's worth over four
hundred million dollars. They do have three children, she asked her,
I think for two hundred and fifty thousand per month
per month in child support. So it just all got
so ugly and so sort of privileged and so rich people.

(16:58):
I'm glad it's over. Think he's making the right decision here,
and I says the day, and now I naughticed the day.
Naughty Nordy nady Beny Frankel is now slamming Carol rads
Well after Carol said she had white savior complex, so
Bethany just cannot let a dig go by. Carol went
after Bethany after Bethany turned up at a store and

(17:21):
handed out barely used makeup, which means used makeup. People
in the store were really kind of a bit gross
sad about it. And she's not Angelina Jolie. A lot
of people didn't know who this woman was just walking
around handing out like half yearsed makeup. They were like, oh,
get away. People went on to say it was really
sort of rude and cringe worthy and tone death. And

(17:42):
then Carol Radsawell saw this and said that Bethany has
a white savior complex. Well, Bethany has seen this and
she can't just let it go. So she started to
scream and showed her three minutes rant about being a
white savior, actually calling Harol a racist, saying it's arrogant

(18:03):
and pretentious and unnecessary. Oh, Bethany, enough enough, enough enough
and nautiust of the day. Let's end with a moment
of rob You get a rub, You get a rubb
you get a rub. Some people like to collect things,
stamp collections, all different types of collections. I like to
collect people, collect people, Collect good people. As you go

(18:25):
through life, remember somebody that you meet today could be
a really important person in your life tomorrow. When I
look at my life today and I'm lucky enough to
look at all my great friends, it took me a
while to really build up that network of friends. And
friends you have today are friends that you will have tomorrow.

(18:47):
Collect friends, collect relationships, don't burn those bridges. Don't do it. Hey,
that is it for today, Donnie, thank you so much
for joining us. I do know that you're quite sick,
so we are sending you all our love and thank
you naughty for listening to the Naughty but Nice with
Robin Donnie Show, a production of iHeartRadio. Don't forget to

(19:09):
subscribe on the iHeartRadio app podcast. Wherever you listen, leave
us a review if you can, and remember altogether now,
if you're going to be naughty, you've got to be what.
You've got to be nice. Hey, take care everybody, especially you,
Dommy pit Pitt.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
It's not even nice with bro
