Speaker 1 (00:07):
Scrible advice Shog. Welcome to the Naughty but Nice Show.
I'm your hosts Shooter. Our friend mister Delane Dixon joins
us every Tuesday. We're very lucky. Yes, I am here.
How are you? Mr? Shooter? Very well, where in the
world is Delana Dixon today? I love these travels. I

(00:30):
am in New Orleans because it is Mardi Gras. It
is that Tuesday. It's all beads and mass well, of
course on a smaller scale, because we're still in a pandemic.
But it is a lot of fun. Everything is green
and gold and purple. It's so much fun. I saw
people were decorating their houses like they were giant floats

(00:50):
this year, which I think is just a perfect way
to stay safe and also celebrate. Hey, miss you know
what time it is? It is We got a lot
of gas to get into today. So Oprah Winfrey is
sitting down with Prince Harry and Megan Markle for their
very first sit down interview since that big engagement interview.
So it's a big, big deal. However, good this interview

(01:13):
cost them a hundred million dollars. Let me explain. So
Megan and Harry, they got paid a hundred million dollars
for a big deal with Netflix, the streaming giants. Now,
when Netflix gives you a hundred million dollars, they do
want something back in return. And it is so strange
that their very first interview the one thing we really

(01:35):
want out of this couple, This is the this is
the TV special that everybody's going to watch. The numbers
are going to be huge. It's not airing on Netflix,
it's airing on c B s Now. Misty, you've been
a TV reporter, journalist for a very long time. You
know this business. What's going on. First of all, you

(01:55):
said the five letters that count, right, it's overall. Don't
turn down Oprah. I mean, when you sit down with Oprah,
it's it's cache, it's classy, it's chic. And of course
if they're sitting down with Oprah at CBS, they can
talk about their Netflix deal. Now, if you go back
when they got their deal back in September, everybody thought

(02:16):
they were going to do a reality show, and they
made it very clear that they weren't going to Netflix
to do a documentary about their lives. They're working on
a nature show. Um, they're doing an animated series about
women for children, and I do hear that they have
some home videos. Yes, they have them in their back pocket.
But what is going on here is that they're using

(02:38):
another platform so they can talk up the projects that
they're going to do on Netflix. I see, so they're
using CBS here to promote their Netflix deals. They've also
got a deal I think with Spotify to do a podcast.
My sources inside Netflix. I spoke to a few of them,
and there's actually a little bit of resentment here because
most producers, most people in TV have to work really, really,

(03:00):
really hard to earn a dollar. They're earning a hundred
million mistake. They've yet to produce a single thing. Not
one project have they produced. This must must make people.
They did produce one little project and he's on his way.
So maybe that's why they haven't actually made anything for Netflix.

(03:21):
But I think Netflix is saying we're going to make
this investment in them and even if it takes them
until late, let's face it, once they have this baby,
it's going to be all about what they're doing with
their children. Um. Netflix could promote that if they wanted to,
and they will bring projects to the network. They just

(03:42):
um they're working on some other things right now. It
must be nice to be a prince. Can you imagine, Misty,
if you signed a deal with Netflix for your projects
that you're working on, and you've got a hundred million dollars,
something tells me, miss Steam and actually produce one of them.
You'd actually make it happen. If I had a one
hundred million dollar deal with Netflix, the projects would have

(04:03):
been produced yesterday. Okay call me. This brings us to
Paul Question of the day, Oprah sitting down with Harry
and Megan for their first sit down interview and then
Flix cannot be happy about this? Do you think it's
going to cost them a hundred million dollars? Will it
cost them all that money? Go vote on our Twitter

(04:24):
page at Naughty Nice Rob also our Facebook pages Naughty Gossip,
and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
Miss de Love, what are you working on now? Well?
Olivia Wild must have been in a Valentine's Day of
mine because she penned a heartfelt post to Harry's styles.
Now she's directing him in the upcoming thriller Don't Worry Darling,

(04:47):
and she praised the former One Direction singer for his
talent and his warmth in a sweet post on Monday,
close enough to Valentine's Day, so it read little known
fact most male actors don't want to play supporting roles
in female lad films. The industry has raised them to
believe it lessens their power. I either financial value to

(05:11):
accept these roles, which is one of the reasons it's
so hard to get financing for movies focusing on female stories.
But she's acknowledging how Harry supported her and the opportunity to,
you know, take a back seat. So now, Rob, wait
a second, is this habou or not? Please film me
in They are together? Yesterday we saw photographs of her

(05:34):
moving moving clothes. She had suitcases out of her home
that she wouldn't shared with Jason Sedek as she moved
into Harry's house. They are serious, they are together. I
think writing this note and being so public, even though
it's a lovely sentiment, it's rubbing Jason's nose in it
a little bit. I mean, he's still mourning the loss
of her. So I was surprised by this post, but

(05:56):
I have to say I do like this. It takes
a really big person to be able to take a
back seat. It hasn't always got to be about you,
and it's a real insight into Hollywood mystery. We always
talk that there's not enough projects out there with wonderful,
strong females as the lead. The reason is not because
these projects don't exist. There's thousands of them. In fact,

(06:18):
MDS working on one herself called All About Eve. It's
a wonderful show you're working on. The hard thing, misdy
is finding the money. The financiers, the people that have
to produce it, that have to back it, They often
don't want to put their money into these projects. So
I think Olivia pointing that out and the fact Harry
is willing to take a backseat makes me so happy.

(06:40):
This story is wild, Misty. I don't know what your
TV sources are saying about it, but I can't wait
to hear. So. There is an essay in Variety asking
is American idol using Claudia Conway now Claudia sixteen years old.
She's the daughter of Kelly and Conway, who we know
from the Trump administration, and she's had a little bit

(07:01):
of trouble on social media. She's been pointing things out
about her mother. It hasn't been pretty and in fact,
the parents at one point asked the media to back
away from Claudia and it's sixteen years old as a teenager.
We did we didn't do her on this show, but
then she auditioned for American Idol. Now two of the
judges said she was terrific, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie

(07:23):
Luke was the only one that said she wasn't ready
for Hollywood. I think he's probably right here. What do
you think about this mystery? They even used Claudia in
the tease of the show, so do you think they're
using her? Well, we know a little bit about how
TV works behind the scenes, and when you have a
controversial figure such as Claudia, eyeballs are going to be

(07:46):
glued to the television set. So this was no accident.
The producers knew exactly what they were doing. People are
going to tune in whether they like her, whether they
don't like her, how they feel about her mother. And
of course there was a little little snippet of Kelly
an of Courus and the dad or are their relationship
has it been mended? Are they still on the outs

(08:07):
with one another? The only problem with This kind of
stunt casting is that audiences forget really quickly. You can
think about shows like Dancing with the Stars and you
had the lady from the Tiger Show on their caro, yes,
Carol Baskin and people you know, you tune in, but
afterwards you're kind of like, um, So it's always kind

(08:28):
of a gamble. I don't think she's going to make
it past you know, the first hundred days. Once you
get to Hollywood you do your like three day thing.
I don't think she's going to make it past there,
but you never know. She might have gone home practiced
and pulled out that talent. We'll have to wait and see. Yeah, well,
wishing the best. We really are here. We're not a
main show. But I don't like it when people are

(08:50):
you as and this feels that. It feels a little strange.
But that's the headline of a story in Variety. What
do you think are they using her? Is American idol
using Claudia She's just sixteen years old to get publicity?
What are you working on these racy videos? Mist This
is a saucy story. I know. I had to dig
back in my Nickelodeon brain, so there was a character

(09:10):
called Dustin Brooks. Now. He was on that Zoe One
on one show. He was a child Prodigies younger brother
and the hit series. It went off twelve years ago.
But little Dustin is all grown up now. His real
name is Paul Butcher. He's twenty six years old, and
he's taking TikTok by storm with these not so PG

(09:34):
thirteen thirst trap videos. So now, in one video, he
made the bold suggestion that women act like they want
flowers and candy all but no, no, they don't want that.
They really want to be um and handcuffed. Uh consensually,
of course. And then he also put up a video

(09:57):
to that song Wop and he it's a re max
and he's handcuffed in the shower naked. Oh, I mean,
there really are thirsty. I looked at something. He's very
good looking. I felt like his father though it was
a little little creepy. But what of these people do?
What do teenage stars do? What do child stars do?

(10:18):
We never want them to grow up, do we? We
don't want them to grow up? He was what just
twelve years old. Now he's twenty six. He's on TikTok.
He's not getting a lot of work as an actor.
He enjoys the spotlight. I understand that. I'm not I'm
not putting that down. But once you do these racy, racy,
racy videos, once you take your clothes off, there's nowhere
else to go. I don't know if this is the

(10:39):
best idea, but yeah, I hear you, Rob, But I
think why a lot of these teenage stars or these
stars that were children's stars do this as an adults
because they're trying to break that image of the squeaky clean,
you know, Nickelodeon star. You can see a lot of
you know, Disney stars, and they want to show that
they are grown up. There are are willing and ready

(11:01):
to take on these racy roles. But I have to
just say. One response to his pictures was, excuse me,
I'm pretty sure I'm watching the wrong episode of Zoe
one oh one because I've reached Nick at Night just
so funny. So that's why they do it fantastic. Before
we got to break this story is wild. Selma high

(11:22):
Ki is responding to rumors that she married her husband
just for money. Her husband is a billion frances Henria
Pineau is. His name is very, very rich, he's actually
the head. He oversees massive brands like Gucci, Alexander McQueen
is Salaron. Well, she has no excuse for not looking
fabulous on the red carpet if you have access to

(11:43):
all those designers. He's super super rich. But they have
been married for twelve years. They have a thirteen year
old daughter together, and she did Dax Shepherd's podcast, I
love his podcast. And even Dax said to her when
he first heard about the marriage, he thought it was
superficial too. She actually said, though, she found that offensive
because he's made her a much better person and she's

(12:05):
growing in many ways, and we immediately think rich people
are not good people. She said, he's a great, great guy.
Is it possible misdy to love somebody here and not
consider how much money there worth? Well, there's this old
saying that it's they say that it's just as easy
to marry a rich man as it is a poor one. Now,

(12:28):
I'm sure when Selma saw him, she probably noticed his
kind heart and his wonderful demeanor, but she probably also
realized that he was a billionaire. I mean, there's nothing
wrong with that. And if you think about it, they've
been together for so so many years, over a decade,
They've weathered some you know, cheating scandals. I believe he

(12:50):
has a baby with another model. And once you've been
with somebody for so long, you create this bond. So
even if maybe when she first met him, she's like,
it's not bad that he's a billionaire, over the years,
they've learned to love one another. They've grown with each other.
They become better people because of one another. And I

(13:10):
just have to say that Summa is my fashion muse.
She and I are both petitue curvy girls. I'm always
looking at her pictures and thinking maybe I could pull
that off. Absolutely you can, Misty, You're just as glamorous
as she is. But we should point out here too,
she's a very successful actress. She doesn't need anybody's money.
She earned so much money herself. It is fascinating. When

(13:32):
I first got together with Bruce, my husband, Bruce owns
a lot more money than I do. I think people
were suspicious we've we've been together now for over twenty years,
but I have to admit here, it is nice being
married to somebody who doesn't have to worry about paying
their rents, Like it really is nice. That's not the
only reason, and that's the mistake we make. I think
we fall in love with people for a variety of reasons,

(13:53):
it's not just one. Hopefully they're good, Hopefully they're kind,
Hopefully they make us laugh, Hopefully we find them attractive.
But it's all these things together in a package, and
people that remove the wealth from that package are not
telling you the whole truth, is what I think. What
about you, mister Yeah, I mean I look at all
my friends who are in relationships, and money can be

(14:15):
a very big issue. So if it's something that you
can take off the table, it just makes life, I
believe a little bit easier. So I will have to
wait and see and find out it is. It is.
You don't stay with somebody just because they're rich, you
really don't. They have to be many many other things.
But it does make life easier. We would be foolish
to pretend it didn't, Hemosty. We're going to take a

(14:36):
quick break and we will be back. Welcome back to
the Naughty the Night Show. I'm your hostop shooting with
our friend Miss d from New Orleans. Hemosty. Let's get
to the polls, and so the Bachelor is talking about
permanently replacing Chris Harrison. Is it time for a change?

(14:56):
Yes or no? Said yes? Is misty? You know TV?
What's going on? Could he lose his job? I don't
think Chris Harrison is going to lose his job. I
think this is one of those things where he needs
to kind of disappear for a while. Do his mea
culpas for the things that he said, and he will
be back. Or what they may do is say, you

(15:17):
know what, we need a little more diversity behind the scenes.
So maybe they'll bring in a Rachel Lindsay and she
can co host with him. But I've spoken to Chris Harrison,
and I remember way back when when the show first
started and I asked him. I said, Chris, you know,
this is a great show, but there's not a lot
of people of color, and he said, we don't get
a lot of people of color at that time we're

(15:39):
talking when the show started applying for the show. I
think they're making an effort. There's still a lot to do.
But if anything happens, I think it'll be a co
hosting gig, or maybe he'll move into that kind of
position where he's not the main host. But he's given commentary.
He's been a part of that show for so long
it'd be weird if he's not a part of the

(16:00):
show though. Talk to Tyra Banks Tom the same mistake.
Dancing with the Stars ABC does have a history of
doing this. Hey, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
You can get to od to it a page at
Naughty Nice Robber or on Facebook page is Naughty Gossip
and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
And now it's time for the Nicest of the day.

(16:26):
This just makes my heart just swoon. It's about Luke
Bryant and he insists that communication is the key in marriage. Now.
He and his wife Caroline just celebrated fourteen years of
marriage in December and reveal their relationship is only getting
stronger with time. Now he's forty four years old, and

(16:48):
he explained how communication is the key. I'm pursuing one's
own passions is extremely important. He told this to People magazine,
So he said, it's all about communication and giving each
other the time to do the things that were passionate about.
The communication is so official, So rob if we're supposed
to take anything from this, I think it's that communication

(17:11):
is the key. Maybe, yeah, absolutely, talk talk talk, and
the more uncomfortable the conversation, the better you are to
actually have it. Okay, let's do our naughtiest of the day.
Ryan Reynolds is calling Blake Lively is forever Valentine. But

(17:32):
there is a twist. There's a twist. These are the
naughtiest because I just adore them. They're so cheeky with
each other. They tease each other, they told each other.
They just make me smile. So he said the following
he said, my forever Valentine for the foreseeable future. She
responded back with a photograph of him doing her hair.
They're in lockdown coronavirus, so he's doing her hair, and

(17:54):
she wrote that time I had sex. She used the
different word with my hair dress are adorable. You too
are just the naughtiest and the nicest of the day.
And now it's time for a moment of rob. You
get rob. Hopefully we make your laugh or giggle for
twenty minutes with celebrity gossip, but for a minute or
a moment or a little bit more serious, listen to

(18:16):
this mystery. It's quite a tongue twister and a head
twister too. Without kindness, you cannot find success, and without success,
it's almost impossible to be kind because real kindness is
real success, and real success is real kindness. Oh that
is a bit of a chunk twister. Yeah, I totally

(18:40):
agree with it. We've talked about this many times that
you say that you want to be surrounded and work
with people that you find kind and you enjoy being around.
And who wants to be in a place where you
just feel that your work isn't valued or people are
just looking to put you down. If you show a
little bit of kindness to your family, to the people

(19:02):
you work with, to the people in the street, um,
the world's a better place. But Rob, let's take a moment,
say where does that kindness have to start. You have
to start by being kind to yourself. Absolutely. What I'm
trying to get at is kindness and success are linked.
They're not mutually exclusive. I don't think you can be
successful unless you're kind. I really don't. And if you

(19:24):
are kind, then you are successful. And if you are successful,
really successful, it's because you're kind. So stop thinking. These
people that run the world that you think are really
successful are successful because they're not. If they don't have
love or kindness in their lives, they are not successful.
I know a lot of really rich, famous people. I've
worked with a lot of them. They're not successful. They

(19:46):
might look like they're successful because you're on the top
of the charts, or they live in a big house
so they have a nice car. They're not. They're really miserable.
Success is kindness, and kindness is success. Hey, that's it
for today a miss D thank than you so much
for joining us. We love having you every Tuesday. They'd
love to here for listening to They're Not even Nice
with Robin Miss D Show, a production of I Heart Radio.
