Prince Harry’s brief trip to the U.K. left many members of the royal family wondering why he even showed up. Bethenny Frankel ripped into Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann in the wake of their divorce news, slamming them for their excessive lifestyle. On a hike with friends in California Meghan Markle was wearing none other than late mother-in-law Princess Diana’s Cartier watch. (How often do you hike in Cartier?)

Advice Shooter Spice. It's time.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Hello, Hello, welcome to the Not even nic Show. Have
your host Rubs Shooter. And it is Wednesday, which means
our dear friend Donny Meecham joins us from La Sunny La.
Are you in your itsy bitsy teeny bikini?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Hah? I will be this weekend and pending down a
Palm Springs. I bought a tiny black speedo just for
the occasion. Out there, suns out, buns out, that's what
it's going to be.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Oh weekend, long play Palm Springs. I have a friend
that lives there, a famous friends you know who it
is who lives in Palm Springs. I think it's the
gayest place in the world, Like it's a gay almost
retirement community.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
Yes, it is a thousand degrees if you know what.
He's been to Pum Springs at all times. But it's
just as beautiful oaces. You're driving through the desert, there's
nothing but tumbleweeds and cactuses, and then all of a
sudden you're like, oh bo, here's Palm Spreaked and it's
fabulous and it's clean, and it's full of gay men

(01:14):
who have jobs and money and real things going on.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
It's fabulous. Are you looking for a sugar daddy this weekend?

Speaker 1 (01:21):
To oh, I take a splendidady At this point, I
just want to lead a bit of sweet I don't
need too much money. I got my own job.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
But a splendid daddy just well, we know if the
weekend was a success or not, because she'll be back
on the show next Wednesday. If you failed, but if
you met some mod we probably won't see you again.
B D. Let's jump into the show. What time is it,
my friends? It's tea time. Thanks story at the top
of the show, the Royal family actually wondering why did

(01:48):
Harry even bother to come to King Charles's coronation. So
Harry's brief trip to the UK for the coronation on
Saturday left members of the Royal family wondering why did
he even to show up. A source close to the
family told Vanity Fair fancy pants quote one makes one's choices.
To be honest, there wasn't much talk of Harry at all.

(02:11):
The focus was very much on the occasion. In fact,
the Saurce even went on to tell the outlet that
Harry did not see or speak to really anybody in
his estranged family. He did speak to his cousins because
he sat next to them, but he didn't speak to
his dad, didn't speak to Camilla, didn't speak to William,
didn't speak to Kate, and ultimately a lot of the

(02:32):
work in Royals are questioning why did he even bother
to come so he was there for less than twenty
four hours. He arrived in London Friday afternoon and he
left pretty much after the ceremony. He did stop by
Buckingham Palace, but I think that was just to change
his clothes. I know he used it like a bathroom
he had to be. He went to book at the palace,

(02:53):
he didn't really speak to anybody there and he left
within ten minutes. Now they are saying that Charles is
saddened that he couldn't have shared this important moment with
his youngest son more than he did. Charles really loves Harry.
He does. He might not be the best dad. He
might have made mistakes in the past, he might have
been very cold. In Harry's book, he describes an awful

(03:16):
moment when his dad tells him his mom has died
and his dad didn't even hug him so I do
get it. Charles is not warm and affectionate, but he
does love him in his own way. Was it worth it, Dollie?
This is a really long trip. This is not you
shooting out Palm Springs for a dirty weekend. This is
getting on a plane and flying for hours and hours

(03:37):
and hours just for less than twenty four hours. Was
it worth it?

Speaker 1 (03:40):
British people in general, no offense. Rob aren't known for
being the most affectionate, aren't known for being the most warm.
I mean, my grandma was British and she, you know,
hugs weren't her thing like growing up. She was never
a big hugger whatever. Second of all, I kind of
see what they're saying here, and I love that it's
source aka Princess Anne, but I don't know that far

(04:02):
facts to one spilling the news. But she hates him,
and uh, I could see Harry's not busy. I could
see if Harry was shooting a show, if Harry was
doing things back here in La or back here in California,
He's like, oh, I need to get back, and you know,
I have an episode of asvu.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Harry's sweetly, You're.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Not really doing anything, really doing you have nothing going.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
I can to stay two days, you can stay a week.
I know it's so complicated because Harry couldn't win here.
If he didn't go, would all be slagging him off.
And if he did go, what she did was saying
it wasn't enough. So I think he couldn't really win here.
It's tricky. Families are really tricky. They're difficult. Even great
families have their ups and downs, and so this is

(04:45):
such a hard moment. You have to be there, you
have to go for this, but it is a real event.
It's not that easy. I try to make things that
I expect people to show up for things I expect
people to do, I try to make them as easy
as possible. When I got married, I got married in

(05:05):
New York, not some destination so that everybody could come in,
get off an aeroplane and go to the hotel. I
wasn't getting married in tingbook two. Now, London's a very
easy destination too, so it's easy to have a coronation there.
But Harry is the one that traveled I think the
furthest to come to this coronation. He had to be there.

(05:25):
I probably would have tried to stay a couple of
days there and seen my dad today tomorrow. It's really difficult,
which is why we want to know what you have
to think about this. Let's do our poll of the day.
The Royal family is wondering why did Prince Harry even
bother to come to Charles's coronation? Was the trip worth it?
Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob

(05:46):
Our facebook page is Naughty and Me. Sure to check
back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey Donny Love, what
are you working on now? Look?

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I don't normally agree with miss bethany brain's.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Annoyed, but here she's she's not just something.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
So she is a ripping Kim Zolziak and kroy A Berman.
So they filed for divorce. You know their marriage is
over and she's telling him pay your fin bills?

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Wrong in New York, Stay, she's not wrong.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
She went on TikTok and she was saying the estrange
pair have always been people who seem like they're spending
more than they have. And she went on to say,
because there's news coming out of TMC that they owe
more than one million dollars to the I R S.
That's a lot of mone's at an IRS.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Why don't you get nervous on your bank account? I
get nervous if I'm one hundred over drawn, I notice
a million, I would notice. I definitely by the time
I got to three hundred thousand, I'd be like donn
and we got to cut back. I'm a spending here.
Maybe by the time we got for five thousand, I'd
be worried. But to get to a million, it's a
lot of money, and it's it's the IRIS.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
It's not like you owe AMX, you owe the I are.
They're coming for the money, sweetie. And you know, Brethley
went on to say he's on a football salary, she's
on a housewife's salary, and they're spending like the planes
going down. So I think what she's saying here is
going on to Addie is like, this is a lot
of the housewives.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Yeah, make this mistake.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
They're on the show. They think they're famous, and yeah
they're pseudoble and they are a little people's house.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
They're making a little money. It's bad. It's bad. Bethany's
right here. We don't normally agree with Bethany on this show.
She's right. The difficult part of this is Bethany tries
has tried for years to walk away from Housewives, and
I think Bethany has finally realized the reason that she's
in the media, the reason we want to talk to her,
the reason we care about what she has to say,
is because of Housewives. So she's leaning into really her

(07:39):
base here, it's Housewives. When Bethany does all her be
kind stuff or her self help books, so even that
cooking stuff, I don't care. I want her talking about Housewives.
And when she does that, that is her base. She
gets me riled up. And often when she does talk
about that base, that subject, she knows she's often right.
But Bethanie made a lot of money not from Housewives.

(08:00):
She made a lot of money by selling that liquor
which she promoted on Housewives. So I do understand how
the housewives and money is all tied together for Bethany,
but it's not the same truth for the other ladies.
You can't live like Bethany or some of these housewives
try to live on the money from the show. Let's
be honest, Kathy Hilton had money. Her housewife money probably

(08:23):
gets her what a new lawn furniture like it's not.
You know, Lisa van der Pump had money. She didn't
become rich because of the housewives. She became more successful
and more famous, but she was already stinking rich. That's
the problem with the New York ladies. They're not quite
as rich as the Beverly Hills. I've been to their apartments.
They live in lovely, lovely apartments, but they're no nicer

(08:44):
than yours or mine, like they live in one two
bedroom apartments. Sonya Morgan has that entire townhouse. I've been there,
but it's falling down. It needs a lot of renovation,
lots of work done on it. Living beyond your means
do you do it? I sometimes feel like I have
to pay all the time, even when months I'm struggling.
So if I go out for drinks with friends or dinner,

(09:06):
I normally pick up the bill and it takes me
a lot to say let's split it. And I'm getting
much better at that. I know it's a good job
you moved to La Donnie. I'd be making you pay.
But what about you, Donny? Do you feel like you
live within your means?

Speaker 1 (09:20):
I do now, I didn't always used to when I
lived in La the first time. I was young and
I was like, oh my gosh, I'm in Hollywood and
I got to go to these nice, fancy places, and
I got a crapdown of credit card debt and it
took me years to get out of it. But that's
not a problem anymore because I'm an adult and mature.
But I'm like you when I go out with my friends.

(09:40):
I have a job. We don't make a ton of money,
rob especially you know doing this podcast. You know we
make good means, yes, we do well, but we're not rich.
I'm not rich, And but I go out and I'm like,
you know what, I got this because I feel like
it's a nice thing to do. There are times where
I tell myself and my friends will be like, Donnie,
you don't have to You don't have to buy a
shot for everybody. And when people say that, the answer

(10:02):
is yes, thank you, I don't and then me split it.
I know, I'm going to see Lady Bunny tonight and
I got the Ticketsbulous, I got the tickets. So I'm
expecting Alex, who I'm going with, to pick up the drinks, right,
That's what I'm expecting in my mind.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
I'll let you know what happens tomorrow. I know she's
listening to Hell alone. Okay, moving along. Talking about money,
Sherry Shepherd helped Lonnie Love and Ryl Underwood get bigger
money out of their talk shows. So she said that
when she was on the View, she wanted to pay
it forward because Rosie o'donald did that for her when
she got her job on the View. Rosi o' donald

(10:35):
called up Sherry and said, this is what all the
ladies make and ask for a similar figure figure out
what you are worth, what you believe you are worth.
But it just gives you a parameter of a negotiation,
you know, within the ballpark of what you can ask for. Well,
now she's revealing after Rosie did that for her, she
did it for Lonnie Love when Lonnie was on the reel.
She called Lonnie and really talked with her, helped her

(10:59):
discuss figure out what she should ask for. And when
Cheryl Underwood joined the Talk, Sherry Shepherd called her too,
and she thinks it's paying it forward, she said, which
is interesting that when Jenny McCarthy joined the View, Jenny
did not tell them her salary, and Jenny was making
more than them because she negotiated it, and she said
that's not Jenny's fault, not at all, but she said

(11:20):
it's not the way she operates. She also helped out
Sunny Houstin on the View to negotiate her salary. It's tricky,
isn't it, because when it comes to money, we're all
a little bit sensitive about it. But I think that
if you go into a new job, it's good to
know what the people around you who are doing the
same job I'm making. And I might might make a
little less, I might not have as much experience, but

(11:43):
I don't want to make a lot less. If it's
the same job, we should all be sort of within
the same bracket. Donnie, how are you about asking for
money at jobs? Do you talk to your coworkers? Where
are you?

Speaker 1 (11:56):
So couple things it asking money and money and is
a tricky topic. It's hard to talk about. So and
the job I have now, I host a show, but
there's a counterpart to me who also who does the
same exact job that I do. Me and her were
honest right out the bat. We were like, look, we're
gonna get this out of the way. We do the
same job. Let's make sure that we're making the same

(12:18):
amount of money because it's only fair. And so now
we're negotiating, we're in the process of renegotiating, we're making
sure we're sticking together and that way we both make
the same amount of money. Also, here, I think there
are two women that really deserve to be you know,
called out first, Rosie O'Donnell for reaching out in the

(12:39):
first place and wanting to help Sherry Shepherd. I think
that's an amazing thing. But also what is Sherry Lottie
love Sonny Houston. These are women of color, and I
think that that is beautiful too, because women are notoriously paid.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Like That's what I'm saying here. I've got some friends
who are a bit shady about this. They wouldn't tell me.
I know the friends that if I ask them bullpart
what sort of figure they wouldn't they wouldn't tell me,
And that's their right. I'm not gonna beat them up
for that. But I help. I really do try to help.
And we've got this wild story that Megan Markel was
caught wearing Princess Diana's Cartier watch on that hike. So

(13:13):
remember yesterday our lead story was while the coronation was
going on. Donnie Mega mirchl went for a hike, and
some people are saying that she might have done that deliberately.
We don't always see Megan out and about in La Puff.
She got papped. It's amazing, isn't it. On this hike
she had a photograph taken. People have looked at the
picture very carefully now, and she might be sending a message.
She was wearing Princess Diana's Cartier watch how often do

(13:36):
you hike in Cartier? And also too, she was wearing
a tennis bracelet that the King is believed to have
given to Diana. So I think she's sending messages here.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
What do you think Mega Marco, We've said it before,
is the smartest woman in the world.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
Game.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
She's her own pr pro. Yeah, she does it need appear?
She says, you know what, I don't need to go
to the coronation. Me not being there a gets me
more pressed. And then b right after the coronation, I'm
gonna wear something. Yes, Diane.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
You know she was scruggling through the boxes.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
She was like, Lily, bet check that box over there
by that.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
What it's It reminded us all about Princess Diana on
a day when the royals did not want to talk
about Diana. She is genius and I say that with respect. Gosh,
can we imagine if we hired her to be the
publicist for The Naughty but Nice Show, You'd be a
star in Palm Springs. Donnie, this weekend you could borrow
Diana's Cartier watch to wear with your throng.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Oh this is I'm telling you, this is the truest thing.
Don't mess with Meghan Markle, don't.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Mess with megamarcle. How are we gonna take a quick break?
Listen to that advice and we will be right back.
Welcome back to the Naughty Show. I'm the shooter with
our dear friend Donny Meecham. Hey, Donnie, let's get to
the polls, DA DA DA. Yesterday we talked about how
Mega Market was hiking with that Harry after skipping the coronation.
Did she stage this photograph? It's a crystal clear photograph

(15:07):
and now we know she's wearing Princess Diana's watching a
bracelet from Charles. Did she stage it? Eighty five percent
said yes, absolutely staged And you're not even judging it.
You're not saying this is the wrong thing to do,
but you do believe it is staged.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
I do.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Don't forget to vote on today's Paul going to Twitter
page had naughty nice rob her Facebook page naughty goes
up and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear
your results. And now it's time for our Nicest of
the Day Now.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
The only thing missing in that mega Marco photo was
her hiking with Oprah Winfrey. That would have made it
even more fabulous. Nicest of the day is Hoda Cottbee.
She's recalling begging a nurse to let her give her
daughter a bath during her hospital stay. So celebrating National
Nurses Week, Hoda reflected on their experiences with nurses while
at the hospital, including her time with daughter Hope in

(16:01):
the ICU. So I remember Hoda was out a lot
of the Today Show, and it come to find out
it was because her daughter had been in the hospital
and she was going I was just thinking about when
Hope was in the hospital. But one of those days
and I was sitting it was three am, just sitting
in the chair. This nurse walked in, put her hand
on my back, didn't even say anything, just sat there
for a minute, and I was like, oh my god,

(16:23):
I could feel myself like right at the time. Jenna
goes on to say, like an angel, hod it goes.
I remember I was there and I asked for a bath.
I wanted to give her a bath, and they could
only sponge her, and I said, please, I'm begging you,
I just want a bathroom my child. And I remember
got this little plastic thing and they put it in
the shower and put Hope in it, and I remembered
like that tiny thing, but it was everything at the time. Oh,

(16:45):
this is nurses truly are. They're a disguises. They're just
beautiful and they do hopeless work and nobody says thank you.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Yeah, And it's not amazing even the medicine or their skills,
which they certainly have. It's their spirit, it's theirs, it's
who they are and nicest of the day and now
our noughties of the day. Prince Harry's ghostwriter is recalling
the biggest fight he had with Harry. So the person
that really wrote the book is saying he was on
a two am zoom call and they got into a

(17:14):
fight and it got really, really ugly. So there was
a particular passage in the book where Harry went through
grueling military exercises in England to prepare him to go
and fight. He went to Afghanistan and they pretended to
capture him. Terrorists pretended to capture him, and they said
vile things to him, including really ugly stuff about his mom.

(17:36):
And Harry wanted to end that passage with a comeback
that he gave one of the participants. The ghostwriter said,
let's keep that out, and Harry said, I really wanted
to do that because people have belittled my intellectual capabilities
my entire life, and this sort of flash of cleverness
proved that even after getting kicked and punched and deprived

(17:58):
of sleep, he had his wits about him. I say,
Harry is right. He should have kept it in. It's
his book, not yours. You have to remember that when
you hire a ghostwriter, they might write the book, but
it's still Harry's name on it, Harry's picture on it.
He should have won that battle. Hey, let's end with
a moment a rabb Robbie rub fifteen twenty minutes. We'd

(18:21):
love to give you all the celebrity gossip, but for
a moment or a little bit more deep. Here is
today's Moment of Rob. Folks who want the best for
you will never abandon you even when the times are tough.
It's really easy to be my friend when I'm flying high.
It's really easy to be my friend when I'm working
for Jennifer Lopez, when I'm waltzing around town doing the

(18:42):
Today Show and Good Morning America. It's harder to be
my friend when I'm not doing those things. And that's
when I know who my real friends are. Show up
for the good times, but also show up when the
times are not quite as bright. That is it for today.
Thank you so much for listening to the Naughty but
Nice with Rob and Donnie Show, a production of iHeart Review.
