Speaker 1 (00:09):
Vibe. It's time he and Leve. Hello, Welcome to the
Naughty Venice Show. I'm your host, Rab Shooter, and it's Monday,
which means our dear friend, Garrett Bogeal joins us, you
look good today, My friend, it's because we've started to
video a few of these. Is that why? Yes, I've
started to wear a jump or a shirt a sweater. Normally,
(00:30):
when I do these in the mornings with you, Garrett,
we do them quite early. I've rolled out of bed
and I'm still in my tank top and pajamas. That's right.
I always forget you are in an office right now.
Hello to everybody at Z one hundred who are listening
to your show. Behind you, let's jump into ads. What
time is it, my friends? It is to any time.
Big story at the top of the show. This is
a big story. So Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's marriage
(00:51):
is under strain. I think we can all agree that
is probably something we should all expect. They are going
through an enormous amount of pressure. Think about it in
your life, you and your partner. If you're in any
legal dispute, I hope it never happens, but if you're
ever in a legal dispute. It's really stressful. Goodness knows,
me and Bruce can fall out if we run out
(01:11):
of corn flakes. Like it's just so easy to get
very very stressed. This is real. This legal drama is big.
It's four hundred millions. It could wipe them out out completely. Well.
Sources are telling me they are doing everything to keep
up appearances. We've spotted them out over the weekend kissing,
looking pretty happy. But behind the scenes, when the cameras
(01:32):
are not rolling, when they're not in public, sources tell
me they're a little quieter, they're a little bit concerned.
I had some sources at the time, one hundred events,
several reporters there, several friends were in the audience, and
they said they put on a great show on the
red carpet, only for a few moments though. They arrived
last just before the event started, and they did no interviews.
(01:53):
They just walked in. You've done these carpets a million times, garrets,
they walk in, they don't talk to any of the
TV crews, They just stop and take photos and then
they went inside. So makes a little off here. I
don't want to over sell this. I don't want to
say they're breaking up, because I don't think that's the case.
But I do totally believe, and the people that I've
spoken to are really good sources. They say it's a
(02:13):
lot of pressure and that they're starting to feel it.
This is not fun. But what do you think?
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Is the only question Ryan and Blake would get asked
if they were to stop and do interviews.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
If they stopped, I would ask them, what is going on?
Are you going to settle this?
Speaker 2 (02:30):
But that's what I'm saying, Like so that like if
you're you're at the time one hundred event where you're
being honored, and the one question you will get nothing
about being honored, just you know, so four hundred million dollars,
how does that make you feel? Four hundred million? Like
just get repetitive. It wouldn't do any good to get
out there and just answer the same question over and
(02:53):
over and over again.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
I think that when we've done these junk kits, we've
both done them. Celebrities often say the same thing over
and over, which normally is my movie is great, my
album is great. There's nothing that they can do professionally
at the moment that can rival this story of this
of this legal drama that is the story. So the
question I would ask them is, if you're going to
go and not talk about it, that's actually saying a lot.
(03:16):
Is it better to just not go? And I think
at the moment I might have pulled back. I know
it's a huge honor. I know it's a big deal,
but it's like if I've been naughty, Garrett, and I
am naughty and a lot sometimes your name. Sometimes I
don't turn up. Like so, if I'm invited to an
event where I know I'm going to get shouted at,
say the Housewives are thrown a party, I know if
(03:38):
I walk into that party, I might not be exactly
welcomed like you, Garrett, and so I might not go.
So I do think here in your own life, think
about it when you've upset a friend and aunt a
cousin and there's a big family party. Maybe we'll skip
this one, honey.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Well, you know what. The other thing too, is very interesting.
Brian has just picked up the mileage from flying from
from New York to uh to Wrexham. Over the last
his football club, the soccer team won the championship over
the weekend, so he was in New York city for
the time one hundred. Let's let's just put this out
time one hundred. New York City was like what Wednesday Thursday?
(04:18):
Wednesday Thursday game was on Saturday, so we flew to
Wrexham and then last night in New York City, Blake
had her movie premiere for a simple Favor That's coming
out with Anna Kendrick. He was back so the man
so so yeah. It might be strained behind the scenes,
but on front, he gets full ready from God. From
(04:40):
flying from coast from coast to coast, country to country,
it's just just just to be there for support, you know.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
I think if any couple can survive this, I think
it's them. But I do think this is really interesting
that the images you're going to see today from the
premiere last night. I was looking at them this morning
from from my news team. Gosh, the beautiful. They look
so great. Nobody does a red carpet like these two.
No couple does a red carpet individually. There might be
people j Lo's and Beyonces that do it as well,
(05:08):
but I think as a couple, I can't think of
anybody more stunning than these two. And I think it's
smart to go together because it's a very united front.
They also brought her mommy to Time one hundred and
I thought that was genius, because you gotta be I
was a little bit more careful with her parent's arid
like I can't ask you about your sex life. I
can't ask you about like questions that are really cheeky
(05:28):
if you're standing next to your mom.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
But you know, what was interesting too about bringing her mom,
which kind of like almost was like a chess move
in the in the game of chess between Blake Lively
and Justin Baldoni, was the fact that she Blake Lively,
spoke out about her mom's abuse that she got growing up,
and she she Blake as she said, Blake's mom taught
her to speak out against that and it was almost
(05:54):
a powerful but also again like almost a checkmate, you know, like.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
That's that's so clever, Garrett. That's exactly what it is,
which is why this story adds up. Everything's a chess mood.
Can you imagine having to think this through. It's hard
enough for me to decide what to get for bread.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
You used to have to do, right, yeah, now to.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Think, Yeah, I used to in my pid's and one
of the reasons I stopped doing it. It was just
exhausting and it was never ending, and I couldn't imagine.
It wasn't my life, it was their lives, it was
it was other people, celebrities. I just I didn't want
to be part of this constant chess game. That's the
way to put it, Garret, You've really given me clarity today.
It's a chess game, and they play it really well,
(06:37):
but they have to plan this after that event. They
get home, they take off all their fabulous clothes and
their makeup, Ryan too, and then they sit down on
the couch and probably ordering Chinese and decide what are
we going to do next? And I'm like, can we
just watch survivor can I just not? Can we just?
I think, Garrett, you and I dare I say, would
be more, would be further ahead in our profession, all creas.
(07:01):
If we only focused on acreas and we don't, We'll
have families and we have lives outside of this, and
I'm so grateful for that. But yeah, my clients that
were that are the most famous, the most famous people
I know. Few friends I have who are pretty famous.
All they think about is themselves. They really do. They don't.
(07:22):
Even when we're at dinner, they never ask me a
question about myself, Rob if I did this or this,
do you think it would help this or that? Me
me me, me, me me, Which brings us to our
whole question of the day. Ryan Reynolds and Blake's Lively
as marriages under tremendous strain. Will they survive this? It's
an important question? Will they survive it? Hey? Go vote
(07:44):
on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob. Our facebook
page is Naught of your Zip, and be sure to
check back Tom Raw to hear your results. Hey Garrett,
what are you working on?
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Are you ready for probably the next installment of a
Netflix series or all binge? Because it's bound to happen.
So remember Kim Kardashian a few years ago, she was
overseas in Paris.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
She got robbed.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Kanye was here in New York, rushed over off to
go save try to save her in Paris, and we
found out that her hotel room was robbed, jewelry was taken,
and it was just this week was supposed to be
the week where these guys were going to be sentenced
and put on stand and find how much time they
would be doing in jail. Here's the thing. The main
(08:28):
suspect turned up dead rob like, and there are many
speculations of why he passed away, one being you know,
Tony soprano esque, if you know what I mean, And
and it just it just the one thing that stinks
(08:48):
is there won't be closure for Kim Kardashian in the
sense as much as you want to give Kim Kardashian,
you know, just like, oh, she's doing it for the press.
She went through something terrifying.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
And she was there, she was in the room, she
was tied up like she this was terrifying. She's begging
for her life, telling these people I have children. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
And the fact that she will not get any type
of closure of to why it happened, why they pay,
like there's going to be left of nothing but wise
left for answer because this guy who was going to
answer those questions is dead gone.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
This is when conspiracy theories started, maybe for good reason
here that it really is a coincidence, maybe maybe more
than that. I do like the line. We hit the
phones and we spoke to our Kardashian sources, who we
have great Kardashian sources, and they said Kim has been
robbed again in this time of the truth. She's never
actually going to find out now why what happened or
(09:47):
was anybody else involved. Was somebody tipping them off from
inside her own staff, from inside her own company, and
so there's so many questions that she nearly got the
answer to. This coming week. She was prepared to fly
to Paris, I'm told on Tuesday to testify. She was
going to be there and face these men, face these
(10:08):
people who did this to her. And once again, it
wasn't just that she was robbed, she was tied up.
She was in the residence begging for her life. The
Kardashians overshare a lot of stuff. This is one of
the few things where they've held back. I'm told what
happened in that room was more horrifying than Kim ever
(10:28):
wants to really have. But she's brave enough to go
back to Paris and relive it, and now it's been
taken away from her, has Sau said. The following gets terrifying.
Kim's worst fears is that somebody else, someone else, something bigger,
someone was pulling the strings and that person might now
(10:49):
walk free. Terrifying. Okay, moving along, next week. It's the
big Meta gala, the Anna Winter Thing. Have you ever
been to one of these?
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Get no, I'm I'm only allowed across the street.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
You've been on the got it, You've been across the street.
We can scream and shout and ask question. I've been twice.
I've been lucky enough to go twice. And they're really fabulous.
It's so over the top, it's it's kind of like
a dream. It's also everywhere you look at the celebrity.
I was lucky enough to go one here with Kate Spade.
I used to work for Kate Spade. May she rest
in peace. I love you, Katie. And also I went
(11:25):
with jaalo One you. I went with Jennifer lo You
worked for Kate's Spade. I did as Kate's publicist. I
loved her. Wow, I have all my clients. You've heard
of Jayla, You've heard me talk about Jessica Simpson. You've
heard God Forbid Diddy, You've heard Alicia Keys, Bun Bung Jover,
You've heard them all. My favorite was Kate.
Speaker 2 (11:42):
Now I have to Now I have to go and
look at the the just the catalog of Kate Spade
to see what might she have been inspired by you?
Speaker 1 (11:50):
You know what I mean? She wasn't. Let me let
me let me send you a lot of time. Let
me tell you a lot of time. I was inspired
by her. She had a lot of tastes. Rest in peace.
So the met is coming up, and guess who wants
to go? They want to go every year. It kind
of breaks my heart. The real housewives have never been
allowed to go to the ball Cinderella. This year they
(12:13):
tried again, they were told no. Now let me explain
how this works. Every single seat is bought and paid
for by a designer or a brand. So when I
went with j Lo, Dolcy and Gabanna bought a table
for ten and I was Jennifer's deck at that table
pocket change. I think it's one hundred thousand dollars a table.
Kate Spade bought a table for ten people and invited
(12:33):
nine plus her ten her friends. So the housewives are
going about this the wrong way. Anna Winter at Vogue
is not going to give them a free ticket because
she doesn't really have any chees a few, but she's
not given them to their housewives. So the way that
they can be invited is to get a designer to
invite them. The problem is the designers know that Anna
doesn't really like them, and so they don't want somebody
(12:55):
at their table who will offend Anna. They want to
get I think this is a case Garraton happened to
me more times than not. I want to be invited
to places that don't want me. Would you say no
that I really really want to get?
Speaker 2 (13:10):
Right? And you know what's interesting too, I have a
few It's almost karma because you know, these housewives were
very popular, probably in school to some degree, you know where,
from Queen's at Best, you know, and now the fact
that they cannot get in, it's it's almost like a aha, see,
you know, you get what you get, you know, karma.
Karma is a bee uh you know, it's I hate
(13:33):
that people feel upset that they're getting but I kind
of enjoy the fact that they're not allowed in.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
You know, who are we going to see at the
top of the copet screaming Teresa flipping tables. Who's going
to cause a sea to Countess Lamane. Something's going to
be dramatic. Cattus Lavan. Okay, quickly, before we get a break.
Travis is Travis Kelcey knows that he's over exposed. We
spotted him over the weekend, but he was much more reserved.
He was much more low key. What's going on.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
It's the first time since the Super Bowl loss that
we actually see have seen Travis outside of his podcast.
But normally, you know, up and up during the football season,
we would see him out with Taylor. Uh, you know
in commercials, if you've noticed, those kind of have kind
of just you know, gone away a little bit. Not
that not not that he stopped doing commercials, they just
(14:21):
they haven't been as much. But he was out for
justin Timberlake's golf tournament out in Las Vegas, and everybody think,
oh Vegas, Travis Kelsey. I think he's playing low key.
He's with his brother, he's with a bunch of celebrities.
But he's also smart because you know, if we've noticed,
Taylor Swift is not out there as much either. And
(14:41):
I think he's taking a page right out of his
girlfriend's playbook of just staying back, only only put putting
yourself out there when need be, when you want to be,
and uh, you know, for the most part, just stay
back and let people talk about you and want you
and like, hey, where where's Travis? And then he pops
he pops up over the weekend. We're like, oh, we frown.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Yeah, it's really smart and noticed Taylor was not with
him if she had turned up this our boys weekend. Acay,
We're going to take a quick break and we will
be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice Show.
Your host from Shooter with their different Garrett four called
Hate Garrett. Let's get to the polls. Last year we
talked about Meghan mockal Is saying she's the happiest she's
(15:26):
ever been. What a beautiful thing to say. I want
to say that today about myself. I'm the happiest that
I've ever been. Be happy today. Don't wait for something
to make you happy, choose happiness right now. Our question
for you is are you happy for her? Are you
happy that Meghan is happy? I know we have on
(15:47):
this show in general, Meghan gets a lot a lot
of hate, but even people that you don't really like,
the celebrities out there I don't really like, but I
don't want them to be miserable. I'm fine with them
being happy. So are you happy for her? Police Naughties
come through. I don't want to look at her, said, yes,
with the nicest show, with the nicest show having a
(16:08):
good week too. Naughty are happy she is happy Monday.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
I'm sure they would be.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
She's not your coop of tea. Okay, don't forget to
vote on today's Paul. Go to our Twitter page at
Naughty Nightser of our Facebook page is Naughty Gossip and
be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
And now it's for the nicest of the day.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Yes. So over the weekend, Gigi had died, which you know,
if you were to look at Gigi hadid then you
see her from time to time out and about Bradley
Cooper hanging out with Taylor Swift, you would think, oh, wow,
she's got to be what, you know, mid thirties. You know,
she's only thirty. She just turned thirty.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Rob Well.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Over the weekend, Bradley Cooper through a big, big birthday
bash for her. But everybody's talking about a gold ring
that she was wearing on the finger where you know,
kind of says hey, I'm engaged that finger. Yes it
is that finger. You know, it's a very meaningful piece
of jewelry that she was wearing.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
But we can.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Confirm it is not an engagement ring. When one source
close to the family said, you know, Bradley's been planning
to propose, but not yet, or maybe he did, and
this is just like a this is just trying to
pull one over on us. Who knows. But but yeah,
so everyone thinks it's coming soon, you know, just like
(17:28):
the Travis Taylor engagement too. Maybe they're all getting engaged
at once, you know.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
Maybe they're friends. They look great together. And I sis
the day and I know iticed the day neuty naughty, naughty,
So chaos erupted on Broadway at Gypsy, the musical Gypsy,
where one fan got up and slapped another, so I
was told. I brote this story as told during well
into the second act, a gentleman asked some young tweens,
not not not children, but tweens to stop talking. And
(17:55):
the mom got really upset about that and started screaming,
and then the dad jumped up and slap somebody around
the face, and then they were escorted ht but get this,
the show went on. They did not stop him. True,
there's something that's happening. I've noticed that people at events,
theater concerts, even sporting events, there's a there's a rudeness.
(18:15):
Now there's a hostility, there's an anger that wasn't there
ten years ago. What happened?
Speaker 2 (18:22):
I think you know what I think it is. I think,
just in general, it's just the price of things. A
Broadway ticket is not cheap at all by all means,
you know, so you want the perfect experience, no matter
you're sitting in the last row, the front row, or
somewhere in the middle. So to hear a kid and
knowing how much you paid, and then you know someone
(18:43):
who who paid just as much feels as if they're
just as entitled. I can understand why it gets to
that point. I'm surprised it hasn't happened more.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Often than I think. You're right, Garrett, something's happening. It's
not just that theater or at events were all becoming
a little bit too aggressive for my liking. Let's all
be considered of one and thenther. Let's end with a
moment of rob rub protect your joy and ignore whatever
threatens it. Protect your joy, So start ignoring people who
threaten your peace, or your energy or your joy. Literally
(19:13):
ignore them. It's hard to do, but it works. Say nothing,
defend nothing, and explain nothing. You don't know anybody a
response or a reaction. Not everything deserves your attention. It doesn't.
Not everything deserves a seater at your table. Silence is
(19:33):
your power. Use it. Test yourself over the next couple
of days. If somebody comes at you in person or
on social media, ignore it. Protect your joy by saying nothing,
defending nothing, and explaining nothing. Hey, that is it for today.
Thank you so much for listening to the Naughty but
