Speaker 1 (00:08):
Sable advice. Shoe Loo, Welcome to the Naughty but Night Show.
I'm your host, Stop shoo. It's Tuesday, which means our
dear friend Delna Dixon is joining us. Misty, are you there?
I am. I'm back in New York and can I
tell you something? It is cold. It is autumn, isn't it?
(00:29):
It is chili chili chili. Put your scarfs, your hats,
your gloves, some people, because you're gonna need them today. Hey,
let's jump right into the show because we've got a
lot of chili chili gossip. Actually it's not, it's red
hot gossip. It is steaming, steaming tea. So let's jump
right in. My friends, what time is it? It is?
So Scott Dissick is going crazy over Courtney Kardashian's engagement.
(00:53):
We found out yesterday that Courtney and Travis got engaged
over the weekend. Now Page six are reporting exclusively that
Scott is losing his mind over the nuptials. Quote. Scott
is going crazy, a insider tells the Post. He's going
off the deep end. It's really dark and it's about
(01:14):
to get even darker. So Scott does have a troubled past.
He has suffered greatly with substance abuse mental health issues,
so we hope that this isn't going to send him
back to a really, really bad place, But Patricks are
reporting that is what people fear. What do you think, Mr, Well,
this is really interesting. We know that Scott Dissick has
(01:35):
had girlfriends after being with Courtney, and she's actually been
a part of the relationships that he had, so it's
very interesting that he is not feeling happy for her
over her engagement. But you have to realize they have
three children together, but they've never been married, and I
think for him, thinking that Travis will be the first
man who actually, you know, takes that plunge with her
(01:59):
is probably a little bit scary, a little bit shocking,
and a little bit like it should have been me. Yeah,
I think you're right. We told you yesterday that they
were filming this entire engagement for their news show on Hulu,
and we broke that news first. Now sources are telling
me that Scott was not let into the process. In fact,
Scott found out about this the same way the rest
(02:20):
of us did when the Kardashians confirmed it on social media.
Insiders they're telling me they didn't want to involve Scott.
This is not his story. He's not part of the show.
He's not part of the romance. And their fear was
if they told Scott about it, he might tell somebody else,
So they really kept him in the dark about this.
He had no idea that she was getting married, which
(02:43):
brings us to our phole question of the day. Scott
District is going crazy over Courtney Kardashian's engagement. Is there
any of his business? Is this any of his business?
Go vote yes or no. You can go to our
Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob or Facebook page which
is Naughty Gossip. And she learned to check back tomorrow
(03:04):
to hear your results. What are you working on that? Well?
Vanessa Bryant, who lost her husband and her daughter last year,
has been asked to undergo a psyche atric testing to
prove and I quote, the extent and nature of her
alleged emotional injuries over the images of the fatal crash
that killed Kobe Bryant, her daughter Jeanna, and seven others
(03:26):
back in January. Now, Vanessa actually brought a lawsuit against
the authorities who actually showed pictures from the crash site
and they were at a bar showing these fine Now,
the l A County defense attorneys claimed that the severe
emotional and mental injuries were not caused by the conduct
(03:48):
of the defendants, rather by the tragic helicopter crass and
the resulting death of their loved ones. Of her loved ones.
And they're also saying she cannot be suffering any emotional
distress from them releasing the pictures because nobody's seen them
other than these people, and they were never publicly proleased,
and insane. What do you think It's insane? Isn't it?
(04:11):
After the legal system really really confuses me, Like, yes,
of course she's in distress. But the point that they're
making is is she in distress because she lost her
husband and her daughter and friends, or is she in
distress because the police the authorities took pictures after the
(04:32):
crash and showed them to people in the bar. I
would say both misty, But I spoke to a lawyer
this morning. I was shocked. The law is very very
strict here and it has to be followed logically, and
so she is suing them overtaking these pictures and showing them.
(04:52):
They're saying, guilty, we did take those pictures, but they
were not shown, so you can't be emotionally distressed about that.
It might feel like we're really sort of pulling on
hairs here. It might feel that this is just too
fine a distinction. But nevertheless, the lawyer told me this morning,
it's actually a distinction that she might lose. But the
(05:14):
thought of her having to go undergo a psychological exam,
it just all sounds and feels so so wrong. Part
of me thinks Vanessa dropped the lawsuit, But then again,
what they did was so wrong. If they're found guilty
of taking pictures of her deceased husband, her daughter, I
can barely say it. It's so disgusting, then there should
(05:36):
be I think consequences for that too. Where are you
on this mysterio? I agree, and I think she's just
trying to send a message. I mean, you shouldn't be
taking pictures of anyone. And this is not the first
we've heard of young people who have been killed and
police taking pictures of them and showing them. So I
think we need to set a press in it. You know,
even though a person is no longer with us, they
(05:58):
still have rights about the party, and people have to
realize it's it's tragedy. It's a personal moment and it
should not be shared. Ment. Oprah Winfrey is doing a
big interview with Adele. So Oprah is set to interview
Adele as part of a two hour special welcoming the
Grammy winner back after a very long break. So CBS
(06:20):
has announced Adela one night only, is going to air
on November, the week before Thanksgiving and about the same
time her new album comes out. In a press release,
they said that the special feature will also include an
exclusive interview with Oprah from her Rose Garden Lovely. I
think that's so, of course, when at the Rose Gardens
(06:44):
set the White House as like a dun opera at
the wise. No, this is Oprah's Rose Garden. It's Adele's
first televised interviewer about her new album, stories about the songs.
It's her first interview since she got divorced sce she
lost the eight. She'll also to be talking about raising
her son. Get this. It's going to be produced not
(07:05):
by Oprah. Oprah's just the host, as if there's any
such just around Oprah, She's everything. But it's going to
be produced by James Cordon, who works for CBS two.
So Adele and James Cordon are very good friends. They
went to the Caribbeean on vacation together with Harry Styles
of all people in twenty so. I think James got
(07:26):
this deal. He approached Adele, he said will you do this?
She said yes? And then they were like, who should
host it? And instead of James saying myself, which Andy
Cowen would have done, let's be honest, he said, you
know what, let's get Oprah. So then they called Oprah.
I'm like, do you want to do this girl? Can
we hire you to be the host? And she said yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
I think this is a win win win win win.
(07:47):
What do you think, Oh, definitely, it's so funny. Well,
you know, Adele has that new song easy On. I
mean it already has seventies seven million views on YouTube,
so obviously everybody's interested in her. But you've got Oprah
and I think it's a level of gravatas to the interview.
So she will be talking, she'll be asking those hard
questions like how hard did you work out? Now? Uh?
(08:08):
And James Corton, I mean, it would have been fun
to see him, but I think it would have been
lighter and more fun. Though I do say we may
be looking for some Broadway show tunes to show up
in this interview, since it's being produced by James Gorton,
and I would not mind that. I love it. I
love it, I love it. What's going on? Oh well,
this is so good. Britney Spears is celebrating Christmas early.
(08:31):
She's starting now, okay, because she wants to bring more
joy into her life amid her whole conservative ship over
the past thirteen years. So she's so happy over the
prospect of her new frown freedom, but she's worried about
making a mistake that could make it disappear. So she
wrote under a photo of a decorated Christmas tree in
her living room and said, for so many years I
(08:53):
was told if I succeeded at things, it could end,
and it never did. I work so hard. But now
that it's here and getting closer and closer to ending,
I'm very happy. There are a lot of things that
scare me though, that she said, and one of the
biggest things is driving. She hasn't driven for a long time.
She's just been driving for four months, and she's really
(09:15):
scared of the paparazzi following her while she's driving, and
I think you can understand why. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
She's been chased around a lot of Britney spears. We
wish you the best. I do like this. If you
want to do something, if it brings you some joy,
do it. If you want to put u a Christmas tree,
do it. If you want to have a piece of
chocolate cake, do it. Like I don't deny myself the
(09:35):
things in life that bring me happiness, and just because
other people tell me now is not the time or
the place to do it, I ignore them. Bring a
little joy into your life. Find something that makes you
happy each day. I've started drinking coffee each day, MD,
and it's such like a little luxury. I used to
be a tea drinker and I've moved to coffee and
I've got myself this really delicious brand. It's a little expensive,
(09:56):
but it's only like a dollar a day, and so
I'm starting to enjoy this little little luxury every morning
when I get out of bed and I can smell
the roasted beans, and it makes me happy all day long.
What makes you happy, mister? Is it Christmas? Is it coffee.
What makes you have a big smile on your face. Oh,
I do love the Christmas season. Like you know. What
(10:17):
I've been doing a lot more is meditating and just
taking five minutes out of my day just to stop
and and center myself. I'm trying to relax more because
I get so caught up and oh my goodness has
to be done and it has to be done so right,
and I just need time to be like I'm okay,
just to yourself. Take a minute each day. We talked
(10:39):
about this in my book, The Forward Answer, and it
takes literally four seconds a day to remind you who
you are in just four words. Don't you know your
four words? Don't you know who you are in four words?
I often, throughout the day close my eyes for four
seconds and say my four words, and it centers me.
It puts me back on the right path, on the
right track for success, on sadly, the right act for happiness.
(11:01):
To find that moment for yourself. And if it means
putting up a Christmas tree, you would you up. My
little trick is misty. I have a box of crayons
with me and I often smell a crayon and it
reminds me of being a young happy boy. I don't.
I know, it's crazy. A lot of people don't know this,
but I've always always got a crayon in my jacket
pockets or in my bag. But the smell of a
(11:23):
freight of a crayon brings back memories. Are you more visual?
Is it your your your your taste, is it your smell?
Which of your senses is the most active for you? Mister?
I think I'm a visual person. I mean I love television.
As a kid, I used to watch it, I used
to get punished and my mom would take away the
cords to the TV, and so I bought my own
(11:44):
so I can watch it. So I definitely think that
I'm a visual person. I love seeing beautiful things and
and just being surrounded by beauty, so that I like
it too. Yeah, I go through Instagram and I've taken
away all the people, all the things that make me sad.
So when I'm scrolling through Instagram, now anybody that doesn't
bring me happiness has gone there, and so now it's
(12:04):
such a lovely experience. If I've got ten minutes alone
in a taxi on a subway, if I'm by myself
waiting for somebody for a meeting or something for ten minutes.
I can flick through Instagram for ten minutes and it
brings me nothing but joy. Get rid of all the visuals,
all the people that don't bring you happiness. Hey, we're
going to take a quick break and we will be
writing back. Welcome back to the naughty but I show
(12:28):
us with our dear friend Mr. Let's get to the polls.
So yesterday we talked about Sex and the City creator
Candice Bushnell is saying that Mr Big just wasn't worth it.
Is she right? Let's have a look. Oh, sixties six
percent said yes. So what Candice's argument was is that
(12:50):
Sex in the City is not really a good example
of how you should live your life and carry needing
Mr Big, almost obsessinging about him, certainly looking towards him financially.
It's just not a good message to send anybody. What
do you think about Okay, you know, I am the
biggest Sex in the City fan, and I was recently
(13:11):
watching all the old episodes, and let me tell you,
Mr Big wasn't always very nice to carry. I mean,
he got engaged kind of didn't tell her. I mean
a lot of times he was just kind of cold
to her. There was the time when he was going
out with her, but kind of taking her to private places,
or so she thought. And I think we all go
through those relationships when we're young. Somebody we obsess over
(13:33):
and they're not really good for us, but we wanted
to be with them. And in Carrie's case, remember this
is a fictional character. I know it's based on Candice's
real life. It's a fictional character. So she had a
happy ending. It doesn't always happen that way in your life.
So you enjoy the show. You enjoy her fancy outfits
in this romantic tale with its ups and downs. But
realized that if a person isn't treating you with the
(13:55):
respect and love and admiration you deserve, you probably should
find some who does. I a great I agree. Hey,
don't forget to vote on today's polic Twitter page at
Naughty Nice Robert on Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip,
and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your
results are Now it's time for and no he sees nice. Well,
(14:18):
it's our sexiest of the day too. It's Cody Simpson
who's delighting fans with an X rated pick. So he
put this pick on Instagram and it kind of shows
a little bit of a bulge and his pants. So
people wrote, I know it's big, and somebody else wrote,
is anyone going to address the elephant in the pants?
(14:42):
I mean room? Now my question is what exactly was
that bulge? Are they talking about his wallet? And you
know what they're talking about, and he must have done
it deliberately. The pictures of Gossip dot Com, I mean,
you can't not see it. And I saw it my
friend Nicky Gosslin, who you know Nikky on the show
she's hosted a few time, A dear friend of the show,
(15:03):
Nicki Gostin. At page six, she posted a story about it,
and it's one of the most read stories of the day.
Of course Nikki noticed just made me laugh out loud,
and then I sort of stopped laughing. I was like,
oh my word, hello, hello, hello, take a look the
pictures of a naughty gassip dot com And now it's
time for and naughtiest of the day nought. America's Got
(15:28):
Talent Extreme, which is a spinoff production, has been halted.
So America Has Got Talent Extreme has officially been halted
after a contestant, Jonathan Goodwin, was hospitalized following a horrific
crash last week. The producer said the following quote. In
order to focus on the well being of the crew,
(15:49):
we will be temporarily pausing production of America's Got Talent
Extreme and will resume the last few days of filming
at a later date. The health and safety of our
cast and crew will continue to be a priority. So
apparently Jonathan Goodwin was crushed between two cars that were
(16:10):
set on fire during his act. It is just horrifying.
I do understand pushing TV to the limits to get viewers,
but when you have to call the show extreme, when
you have to make the acts this extreme, then we
have to be extreme about safety measures. Nothing no entertainment
(16:32):
is worth somebody getting really, really hurt. This makes me very,
very angry. What about you, mr? I'm not sure if
the show is going to see the light of day.
And if you think about it, most of the winners
of America's Got Talent our singers or magicians or people
who are doing kind of small, safe acts. So why
do we need to take it to this next step? Now?
(16:54):
I'm not saying anything for the people who do extreme
sports or extreme acts. But I don't know if we
need to shoot. You know, things are different when you
shoot them for television, and so maybe it's just trying
to deal with the production and the angles on the shot.
Maybe that at the level of of it being even
more extremes. So I'm not sure it's going to make
(17:14):
the light don't even though if it should make the
light of date makes me very very sad. Hey, let's
end with the moment of rob you get ro Thank
you very much. People have been asking me about my
new book, The Forward Answer. Thank you for all the questions,
and I wanted to read a little bit from the
beginning of the book. It's just a few sentences here,
So without even knowing it's happening, your life can get
(17:35):
stripped away of hope and joy and happiness right now,
to the point where you wake up and no longer
recognize the person in the mirror if that's you. If
your life has been stripped of happiness and joy and hope,
if you look in the mirror each morning, you don't
recognize that person looking back at you, this book is
(17:56):
for you, The Forward Answer, Who are You? In four words,
we're going to figure that out together in the new book,
and we're gonna bring joy and happiness back to your life. Hey,
it's available right now on Amazon dot com. That's it
for today. Thank you so much for listening to the
naught Even Mines with Robin ms D show, a production
(18:19):
of I Heart Radio. Don't forget to subscribe on the
I Heart Radio app, Apple podcast wherever you listen. Thank
you for all the reviews you've left for the podcast,
but also to thank you for all the reviews you've
been leaving for the book on Amazon dot com. They
are so helpful altogether. I remember, if you're going to
be naughty, you've got to be stake care. It's not
(18:47):
even nice with
