Speaker 1 (00:08):
Scalable advice. It's well, hello, welcome to the Naughty Bernaisha,
I'm your host room shooter. It's Friday. Normally on Friday,
our dear friend Corey joins us. He's after day So
it's just us naughties, but danger. We've got a fun
pat show, lots and lots of terrific gossip. What time
is it, my friends? It is day time, big story
(00:32):
at the top of the show. So Selena Gomes is
subtably backing Hailey Bieber after Justin's cruel comments because she
knows what this feels like. So, in a very surprising move,
the Rare Beauty mogul liked a road Skin Instagram post.
So the Rare Beauty is Selena Gomez's company, the road
(00:56):
Skin is Hailey Bieber's company, and so Selena liked one
of their posts featuring Haley glowing just hours after her husband,
Justin Bieber, publicly omitted that he once told his wife
that she would never be on the cover of Vogue.
(01:17):
OUCH sources say, quote, this wasn't just a like, it
was a life lion. Selena knows how cruel Justin can
be behind closed doors. She's lived it and she's showing
Hailey a little bit of solidarity. So the timing it's
impossible to ignore. Just one day earlier, Justin awkwardly celebrated
(01:40):
Haley's Vogue cover. She's wanted to be on the cover
of Vogue, like many many young models, young women, young
people around the world, for a decade. She finally finally
got it. But now we're finding there's a backstory. Justin
admitted that they had once a huge, brutal, he said,
fight where he spitefully told her just to get to her,
(02:02):
to get back at her. She would never land the
coveted fashion feature. So mean, he admitted now in a
Instagram deleted post. But the words were said, this happened.
They had a fight. He shouted that at her to
hurt her feelings, basically calling her a second rate model. Really,
(02:24):
some people are saying you put her in a place.
He's very successful in his career. He's got all this money,
and she's a very very successful model. But to be
a premiure model, to be at the top of your game,
to be the model that Justin is in the music business,
you need to be on the cover of vogues. He
basically said, I'm always going to be bigger than you.
That's what he was doing. He was implying, you know,
(02:46):
it's my career. I'm the star here, and you might
be a successful model, but you're not a superstar model
because you will never be on the cover of Vogue.
Well fast forward several years. There she is on the
cover of Vogue, and the day after that happened Selena
Gomez out of the blue. She never does this, liked
one of Haley's posts. Now, Selena normally keeps away from
(03:09):
Haley and Justin because the fans get so riled up.
You remember, Selena used to date Justin and many people
cruelly wish she had married him and not moved on
at all. And that is just not what was meant
to be. They were not a good couple. I know.
We want to look back with rouse colored glasses and
(03:29):
pretend fantasize that they were the real deal they once.
They were so young. It was a really toxic relationship.
Inside this say, he was quite cruel to her behind
the scenes. She was struggling to suffering and she didn't
need all this drama in her life shatter health issues,
and so Justin and Selena were a bad couple. There,
I've said it. It can happen. You can still see
(03:52):
all love somebody who's bad for you. Goodness knows I have,
particularly when I was young. Maybe you have two. And
so this was a bad couple. They broke up, they
went their own ways. It looks now as if Selena
really really has found love, has found the life the
relationships that she wanted. And Justin it's still very questionable.
(04:13):
Hailey's a great person, but there's clearly struggles in this
marriage for him to tell his wife, You're never gonna
get the cover of folk. I mean, just come on,
isn't your partner meant to be the one cheering you on,
supporting you? I get it. The people in my life
that don't support me, so real side. If I've got
great news and some of my friends don't cheer, they
are my friends for much longer. Cheer for your friends.
(04:35):
Be the first stand up and scream congratulations. Believe in
your friends, push them forward, not down. And so Justin
has a bit of a negative way about it. And
so Selena, now, without getting too involved, just the like
not a statement subtlely, and it was subtle, but she
did subtly really support Hailey. Here mindsight has telling me
(04:56):
Haley knows exactly what Selena did and is really really
grateful for it. And there might even be a time
when these two can be friends, not with Justin. As
long as Haley is with Justin, this this will not happen.
But if something happens, if Haley and Justin break up,
and there is a possibility, I'm told they have been
living separate for a while now separately for a while.
(05:19):
If they break up, then could Selena Gomes and Hailey
Bieber be friends? That, my pals, is the whole question
of the day. Do you think Selena Gomez and Hailey
Bieber can ever be friends? Can they be girlfriends? Can
they go out together? They've got a lot in common
(05:40):
and it's not just Justin Bieber. What do you think
can they be friends? Hey? Go vote on our Twitter page.
Had Northern Ice ram our facebook pages not de gossip?
I'm sure to check back to my round your results.
And now the story that made me smile, So Travis
Kelsey shirtless. He was sweated in Miami and when he
(06:01):
took his shirt off, we got to see something we've
not seen before. So Travis Kelcey He lived up to
his legendary nickname over the weekend by hitting Miami's heat shirtless,
and he was very, very hairy. This was after an
intense NFL training session that left everybody breathless. So the
(06:23):
thirty five year old Kansas City star famously dubbed Big
Yetti Big YETI is what his friends called him for
his abundant body hair stripped down besides his SUV to nothing,
put his little black Nike short and a gray towel,
and he revealed that his chest and his back were
(06:45):
both very, very hairy and inside a say quote, it
was like watching a mountain man emerge from the mist,
only the mist was sweat. Now the NFL star he's
currently in Florida, renting a twenty million dollar mansion in
bocort and he's preparing for the upcoming season and perhaps
(07:06):
another shot at that Super Bowl win after February's devastating
loss to the Eagles. The Big Yetti nickname is not new.
It is not new. Travis first explained this on his
podcast with his brother, describing how in college basketball games
he got this name. He said quotes, I had a
(07:29):
big beard for long hair, chest hair, back hair. I
was a big old yetti out there. Man, I think
he looks great. What do you think about guys with
back hair. I think they look great if you have
a hairy chest and some hair on your back. Some
guys wax away. I prefer the natural look. I don't
(07:50):
think I really like the waxing. Maybe a little trim
him and there if it's a little much, But I
don't think we all need to be really super smooth,
like Tom Crue or Brand Pitt. That was a real luck,
wasn't it to have guys be with guys now, guys
that are really really smooth. Now. I think the hairy
chest is coming back into fashion. Beards and now back.
(08:10):
Whenever I walk down the street, anyone under thirty has
a beard, So I think he looks just great. And Taylor,
obviously she does not mind at all. These two have
the money and the access to the best waxes in
the world, the best beutians, the best beauty therapists, so
he could easily easily get rid of this back hair.
(08:31):
Forget a beauty therapist. They could just hand Taylor a razor.
Can you imagine him in the shower with Taylor and
a big razor? A cheap, disposable razor shaven him. No,
not gonna happen. These two are pretty much perfect the
way they are. Okay, moving along, TikTok. Queen meets crocodile prince.
Let me explain. Alex Earl has joy and Robert Herring
(08:56):
on Dancing with the Stars. Now, let me explain who
these two people are. The ball just got some gen z,
sparkle and a little bit of the out back. So
social media sensation Alex Earl, I'd never heard of her,
has officially joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars
Season thirty four. Set in the stage for a ballroom
(09:17):
showdown with the Wildlife Royalty Robert Erwin, who's the son
of the late Steverwin. Remember the crocodile hunter Steverwin past
Away tragically was killed. Well, his son. Now Robert is
making headlines. He's in his underwear, he's all cut up,
he looks great. And now this social media star who
I did not know, I did not know, has joined.
(09:40):
Let me explain who she is. Her name is Alex.
She has seven point five TikTok seven point five million. Oops,
that'd be better seven point five I could get out
of the show. Seven point five million TikTok followers, a
Sports Illustrated swimsuit feature, and a buzzy romance with an
NFL star, Braxton Barris. I don't know him either, but
(10:00):
she is coming forward. She has all these followers, she
has GLAMs, she has grit, she has gen Z fan base,
and so this show wants to bring in younger viewers.
It's doing okay in the ratings. It's not a blockbuster anymore.
Still does okay, but it doesn't do very well in
the demo. Now, the demo is the most interesting. When
(10:21):
I was not yet, before I really knew this, I
would ask, what's the show's ratings, how do they do?
And if they've got a lot of big number, I
was like, Oh, that's great, but it doesn't matter. It's
the demo because that's what the advertisers care about. If
you get two million people watch but only fifty thousand
in the demo, you're not gonna make it. That show
will get canceled. That's why really a popular shows get canceled.
(10:42):
If one of your favorite shows has recently been canceled
on CBS or ABC or one of the network's NBC,
it's because the demo is bad. So a lot of
shows with millions of people watching get canceled because it's
quote the wrong type of people. They want young people,
people in the young demo. That's who advertisers want to reach.
(11:05):
And the rationale is if you're over forty, you're probably
not gonna change your mind. Where if you're younger and
I tell you about this new soap, this new chocolate bar,
or whatever I'm selling a new car, you're more likely
to listen. I don't really think I believe that I
knew what I liked when I was nineteen twenty twenty one.
I didn't have to wait till I was forty to
figure out what I like. But that's the philosophy behind
(11:27):
the advertising community and the advertising mania, and TV shows
need all this money to make them happen, so they're
trying to bring in young people. Let me give Dancing
with the Stars a newsflash. It never works. They try
this all the time. They try to bring on social
media people. It never translates. They don't bring in viewers
because if I follow Alex on TikTok with seven point
(11:50):
five million other people, I don't follow her, but if
I did, I would watch her on TikTok. I'm not
gonna suddenly be like, oh I gotta watch her on ABC. No,
you have talked to watch TikTok and all my Alex videos,
all my Alex content. I'm gonna get on TikTok. I'm
not gonna go and watch the show. Even if she
posts clips, which is probably in her contract, but she
has to post clips on her TikTok page on her
(12:13):
social media. It's not going to translate. It never ever does.
And I think having Robert on that's sort of nostalgic,
isn't it. People remember his dad. He's going to be
dancing for his dad, Steever And I expect lots of
crocodile type costumes, lots of nature and so I think
this could be a really good season. The trouble is
(12:35):
when you start bringing in stars, quote stars that we've
never heard of but have a lot of TikTok followers,
the TikTok followers don't usually come. Okay, moving along, Taylor
Smith might be able to buy back our master's. Remember
that big, big, ugly fight about who owned her music?
Well years after the bad Blood see what I doing?
(12:58):
The pomp star now has the opportunity to buy back
her original master recordings of her first six albums, and
the twist, Scooter Braun, the very man who Taylor once
accused of stealing her legacy, is now pushing for the
sale to happen. One music insider tells me, quote, how ironic,
(13:18):
isn't it? It's just so ironic that Scooter was the
once painted as the villain and now is nudging Shamrock
Capital they own the masters, to sell her back these masters.
It's become a full Cirtle redemption arc or is it
a pr cleanup on behalf of Scooter. Shamrock Capital the
(13:39):
investment firm that bought the rights from Braun. So Scooter
Braun bought Taylor's catalog, then he sold it to Shamrock
Capitol for a reported three hundred million dollars. Well, now
it's said Shamrock Capitol, they're open to reselling it directly
(13:59):
back to Taylor, but the price has changed. So Taylor
lost out on this. Scooter paid three hundred million dollars
he sold it to Shamrock. Now Shamrock owns it and
they said we're willing to sell it. However, the price
is changed. They want anywhere between six hundred million to
a billion dollars. Now Taylor has that sort of money,
(14:19):
she can raise that sort of capital. Sources tell me,
if Taylor pulls this off, she won't just own Taylor's version,
remember she re recorded those first six albums. She will
control the entire catalog. It is a power move for
the history books. If she owns both versions of the songs,
she dominates every revenue steep stream she licenses when she
(14:44):
wants to pulls it when she doesn't. She then is
the gatekeeper of her own legacy. Why is Scooter helping
her now? Lots of people are asking that. They said
he wants to change the narrative. He wants to be
rebranded as a hero, not the villain of the industry.
And if he helps Taylor get her catalog, which was
always rightfully her or at least emotionally hers, at least
(15:07):
ethically hers, even though business wise it wasn't. The business
people get involved and they cheat and take, and they
can manipulate, and they ultimately the ones that make all
the money. It's like all those shady managers out there,
they always make money. You never hear of a manager
going bankrupt, But you here are so many pop stars
going bankrupt all the time. Or Scooter here, who is
a manager, is trying to do the right thing a
(15:29):
little bit too late and it's going to cost Taylor
at least double Okay, we're going to take a quick
break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
the Naughty Bert Night Show. I'm your host, rab Shooter. Hey,
let's get to the polls that they are. Last Showy
talked about King Charles being too busy on his trip
to Canada, is going to be North America? Too busy
to see Harry or Megan? Is this a ruse? Do
(15:52):
you believe it's too busy? Or is there a ruse?
Or is it the right move? Seventy eight percent said
it's the right move. They just can't try Harry at
the moment, and if he sees them, if he sees Harry,
it should be for the right reasons, not for publicity,
not to make us happy on the Naughty but Nice Show,
And so at the moment, there's still too much that
(16:13):
needs to be discussed and there's still too much that
needs to be fixed, particularly trust. They don't want to
be around Harry if he runs and tells everything to
the BBC or Oprah Winfrey or a magazine. They want
to have real conversations with him. They want to trust
him again. So not gonna happen this trip. What a shame,
(16:33):
What a shame, What a shame. Okay, don't forget to
vote on today's poll. Go to our trip to page
at Naughty Nice rob at Facebook page which is naughty Gossip.
I'm sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
And now it's time for the noisest of the day,
(16:55):
the nicest of the days. Unusual. It's Kim Kardashian who's
finally graduated law school after six long years. God bless her.
So after six years of legal flash cards, court room visits,
and much much more, Kim Kardashian is officially a law
school graduate and she's celebrating the milestone with the most
Kardashian styled graduation bash imaginable. You can imagine. It's so
(17:17):
over the top. So Kim walked into this program with
nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice. A
mentor told me, no ivory tower, no shortcuts, just one
hundred and eighty four hours of study while running an
empire and raising four kits. The law school journey hasn't
been easy for Kim. She famously failed her baby bar
(17:40):
exam three times before fat passing it in twenty twenty one.
But she stuck with it. She kept on going, she
kept reading those law books, and so finally her dream
has come true. Now having passed the Professional Responsibility Exam,
she's eligible to take the California Bar, bring in her
(18:00):
one step closer to her dream of opening her own
law film. Stay with it. There's no shortcuts, even when
you're Kim kardashing. You gotta do the work. Over five
thousand hours has gone into this. If I told you
you could have anything you want, but it's gonna cost
you five thousand hours, would you say yes, Kim did?
(18:23):
Congratulations are nicest of the day. I know I noticed
the day I noticed this. Ana di Aramas, I love
saying that name. Who's dodging questions about being romantically connected
to Tom Cruise. She was on Fallon and she was
a real pro, I guess, but she just didn't give
me enough. We know they aren't together, and so hey,
these rumors could have been address, they could have come out.
(18:45):
We could all be celebrating today. But she completely sides
stepped it, not even a wink or a joke. It
was like Fallon was told, don't go there. But that
did not stop the audience from noticing the elephant in
the studio that Jimmy Alan was talking about everything except
the one subject that we care about, Trus your friend Rob.
(19:07):
They are together. Hey, let's end with a moment of Rob.
You gotta rub, you gotta rub, you get rub, you
gotta Rob. Celebrate your progress because every single step counts.
Don't wait for the finish line to be proud of yourself.
Celebrate the small, the tiny winds, the hard days you
showed up anyway, and the progress no one else ever saw.
(19:32):
Growth isn't just about goals. It's about who you're becoming
along the way. Every step forward matters, every little breakthrough counts.
So clab for yourself right now. Don't wait. You're doing
better than you think, and you deserve to feel proud,
(19:54):
not just when it's done, but every time you refuse
to give up. Hey, that is it for this week.
