Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice for sure. Welcome to the Not Even Nic Show.
I'm your host, Rob Shooter, and it is Tuesday, which
means our dear friend Galla, and Dixon joins us, Hey,
miss d are you there?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
It's Tuesday mornings, so of course I'm here. How are
you doing this? Shooter?

Speaker 1 (00:29):
We've been really consistent with this. I've been on shows
where the co hosts change all the time, and I think,
in fact, I'm sure we're the same folks that started
out two three years ago and were still here. I
so love that you love doing this mystery. I do.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I mean, first of all, you've got the best listeners
and fans in the world, so I actually look forward
to Tuesday mornings. It's it's a really my favorite day
of the week. Let's be honest.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Oh bless you. We love having you and you naughties.
You really are amazing. Never thankful one moment that we
take you for granted. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Let's jump into the show. What time is it? My friends?
And tea time? Big story at the top of the show,
So Sophie Turner seems to be sending Joe Jonas a message,
a Taylor Swift inspired message with a bracelet amid this divorce.

(01:25):
So I don't know if you know this. I did
not know it until I went to Taylor Swift's concert.
They give out friendship bracelets, so the fans turn up
with all these bracelets, and they hand you bracelets, and
you hand other people bracelets. The only way I can
describe it is like going to Mardi Gras in New Orleans,
like with the beads, but instead it's on your wrist

(01:47):
rather than round your neck. So Sophie has been hanging
out with Taylor Swift. We've seen all the photographs. She's
even moved into Taylor Swift's spare apartment. That's very nice
of her, giving Sophie a place to stay with the kids. Well, now,
Sophie was spotted out and she was wearing a bracelet
and the beads red. If you looked very carefully, we
zoomed in on them. Fear Us a Fearless bracelet, which

(02:11):
I think is fantastic. Is it a message to Joe?
What do you think?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Well, for all the SWIFTYE fans out there, they know
that's the name of Taylor Swift's second album, Fearless, And
Taylor actually said that it meant embracing your love and life.
So maybe it was a message. Let's face it, when
you're going through a divorce, you don't want to say
certain things because it can be used against you at
a court of law. But you can certainly post a

(02:39):
photo with yourself wearing a certain bracelet and let people
come to their own conclusions. And I think what's really
important about this. Sophie is only twenty seven years old.
I think maybe she was thinking that Joe thought she
wasn't going to fight for her children. You know, at
the beginning we heard, oh, she was partying and didn't
want to be a good mom. But I think she's
sending a very clear message that not only does she

(03:02):
want to have an active role in your children's life,
but she's going to fight for them.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Oh she's going to fight. There's a story out right
right now, just minutes ago, that they are close to
a custody agreement. What's going to be very interesting with
this custody agreement, though, is where are they going to live.
She's made it clear she wants to move back to England,
to the UK. He's an American, he wants to stay here.
Is on tour with his brothers, and you're so smart

(03:27):
misty about legalities during a divorce. This photograph has been deleted.
I went on her Instagram account and it's already been deleted.
Shouldn't say anything. It's just the snap of her with
a beaded fearless bracelet around her wrist. There was also
a photograph too, and it was a union jack purse,
which I think is telling everybody that she really wants

(03:49):
to go back to the UK, but there's no way
she's going without those two daughters. And so that's what's
been hashed out right now as we speak. I can't
imagine any court, anybody who would take children away from
their mother. I just can't see that. If they both

(04:10):
lived in America, it would be much easier. But are
these kids gonna have to jump on an airplane every
other weekend? How's it gonna work?

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Okay, you're forgetting that we're not dealing with real ordinary people.
Jumping on a plane means getting on a private jet
right with six nannies. And if it has to be done,
it will be done. I mean, she's a mom. She
wants to see her kids grow up. I understand that
Joe Jonas is an American, so he wants to be

(04:40):
here and they're just gonna have to figure it out.
And those kids, I'm sure they already have passports. I'm
sure they're already jet setter. So that'll be the life.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
So smart, Misty, I'm so grateful you are here. Okay,
let's get to our pole of the day. Sophie Turner
is sending Joe Jonas a Taylor Swift inspired message with
a bracelet that says fearless on it. Are you team
Joe or are your team Sophie. We're going to cut
to the chase on the Naughty but Nice Show. I
want to know where you are on this. Are you

(05:12):
team Joe Jonas or are you team Sophie Turner? Go
vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob or
our Facebook page which is Naughty your Sip and be
sure to check back Tamar. Here your results, a Misty,
what are you working on?

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Well? If you were wondering. Sophia Bagatta is doing so
great after a split from Joe Maganello. So, and you
know who's telling us this her former Modern Family co
star of eleven years, Julie Bollen.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
So.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Julie said that she will always support her friend, and
she's been seeing Sophia thrive after her breakup. And Julie said,
you know what, just check Sophia's Instagram. We have spoken
and she's doing great. Sophia has always had wonder family
around her and wonderful fans. And then Julie added jokingly,
she doesn't need Taylor Swift to take her to a game. Hey,

(06:08):
Taylor Swift is a good pal to have if you're
going through a breakup. And then Julie thought twice because
your words do mean something, and she said, she's so good.
But I'm super happy that those other girls have Taylor Swift,
and I wish that Taylor Swift had could have been
there for me when I needed to go through that.
Julie said she really admired Sophia as a role motto,

(06:29):
how she embraced being a woman and a woman fully
and also being powerful. Think about that, Rob.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Yes, it's amazing. This one is. They've been working together
for eleven years. You forget how long Modern Family was on.
It was a huge show. And if you've worked with
anybody for a decade, you do develop friendships and relationships,
and often they carry on after the job. Has gone away.

(06:58):
You and I, Misty, we met are a magazine and
we've been friends now over a decade since that magazine
has been gone from our lives. It's interesting who in
the office, who on the TV set, who in your
work that you remain friends with, because it's sort of
like an open punch bowl of access to people. When
you turn up at a new job and you look around,
sometimes there can be hundreds of people. I find it

(07:21):
so exciting and I look around the room on my
first day and I always wonder who in this room
am I going to be talking to ten years from now?
Do you ever do that?

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Oh? Yeah? And I really do think that Julie made
a great point. Here is somebody that you see as
a role model, or somebody that just you embrace you
kind of when you meet people, you get the surge
of energy when you meet somebody that's like minded, and
you just know, I think this is going to last longer.
Now they don't always, but in the case of you
and me, well, I knew I was going to keep you.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
I'm so happy about that. What's interesting, too, Misty, is
how do you feel about friends talking about other friends?
You don't have to be a celebrity to have this happen,
Miss d God forbid, you had a break up, All,
let's do a nice thing. You're dating a great guy.
If I go for drinks with Donnie, he's gonna ask
about you and the guy. Is it my place to

(08:16):
say something or should I keep my big fat mouth shut?

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Well, you know that I can be a vault. I
do not reveal anything, but I think if you are
going to talk about your friends, always stay on the
positive side because when you start to gossip, when you
get negative, because you're caught up in the moment, that's
gonna come back to haunt you. So if your friend
or me is dating a new guy, you'd just be like, well,
she seems real happy mad.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
You know, I couldn't stop there, Misty. I'd tell her
them everything I know that I never tell you. Would
be on Instagram checking out his pictures. I would go do.
My friend Nicki Gostin, who works at Page six, she's
been a great friend of this show. She was on
the Red Carpet a couple of nights ago at Merrily
We Roll Along the New Musical. It's a fabulous, fabulous,

(09:04):
fabulous and Cynthia Riva was there, so after getting a
few questions out about the musical and Wicked, Nikki had
to ask, how do you feel about Ariana Grande and
Ethan the guy that she's dating who's in Wicked the movie?
Cynthia walked away. She didn't say yes, she didn't say no,

(09:24):
Nikki said, she just slowly drifted away. That would be you, yes, exactly.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
I just feel like, oh, do I hear someone calling me?

Speaker 1 (09:33):
I've got to go go.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
You know who was so good at this, Tyra Banks.
Tyra Banks could always take the conversation back to whatever
she was dealing with. So it's just a matter of saying, oh,
that's an interesting question, but we're here to talk about
merrily we roll along. So it's that simple.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
Is that simple? I used to be Tyra's publicist, and
I remember media training Tyra Banks. It took me two minutes.
She'd already got it. She knew exactly what to say,
what not to say. She talks it sound bites like
some celebrities rattle on and on and on, and when
you rattle on, you get yourself in trouble. It's been
the story of my life. Tyra Bang is concise precise.

(10:09):
She gives you exactly what she wants you to know,
and then puts a period at the end of the sentence.
Maybe it's a good thing we should all think about today. Okay,
moving along, King Charles has apparently struck a deal with
William and Kate over a very awkward issue. So the
Daily Beast is reporting that these younger royals often steal

(10:31):
King Charles's thunder and it's a very delicate situation. However,
they've come up with an agreement that looks like it's
going to work. They've worked out a sort of accommodation
mystery about how they can share the spotlight, because Charles
can get very jealous o other people stealing his spotlight.
All started with Princess Diana. He was not ready for

(10:53):
what a super star or an international star she was
going to become. So now they've allotted a percentage of
the limelight. You heard that right. Insiders are telling the
Daily Beast that William and Kate are allowed about forty
percent and sixty percent has to go to Charles. So
if William and Kate see themselves getting just too much attention,

(11:14):
too much press, they pull back. Now he's a strange son.
Harry wrote about this in his book. He said Paul
might have dreaded the rising costs of maintaining us, him
and Megan, but really what he couldn't stomach was somebody
else dominating the monarchy, grabbing the limelight, something shiny and

(11:36):
something new, overshadowing him. So clearly this is Charles's a
killer's heel. If Harry is willing to put that on
the record in a book, this is real. So maybe
if it's as real as we believe, maybe it's worth
having a conversation, which is what William and Kate have done.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
All I can say is, what the e you are,
King Charles. You're going in the history books. People are
going to talk about you two hundred years from now.
So this just seems kind of insane to me. Plus,
we're not talking about other people in your cabinet or
your royalty. This is your kid. You're supposed to uplift

(12:17):
your kid and talk about them and pull out pictures
and say look at my kid. So okay, Princess Diana,
she did get a lot of attention, so I understand that.
But seriously, yeah, you've been around a long time. People
have talked about you a lot chill. Yeah, King, you
got the job.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
You're good that you're always the voice of reason. I
got to admit on a personal level, something like this
is going on at the moment in my house. Bruce,
who's very private, Bruce is not a show pony like
I am. Bruce has really been pushed into the spotlight
because he's musical's opening next week on Broadway harm and
they get a ticket. It's fab you loss, But Bruce's

(12:59):
doing a lot of into you. There's a lot of
press and he's really good at it. And for a
second mystery, we were in an event last night and
Bruce is on stage, owning the show, just being funny
and witty and charming and handsome. And I was sippling
in the audience, and I must have meant, for just
the second, I did think I used to be the
one in this family who was famous. Just the second mystery.

(13:19):
So there is a little adjustment.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Oh well, first of all, we all know how much
you are in love with your husband, and you are right,
he just owns a room when he's there. Just love
the man. But honey, you get to be the first
lady of that's the next one. Learn from soon to
be queen Key. But you know what I'm saying, sometimes

(13:42):
being the second in command is the best job to have.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
I'm going to start wearing a tiara. That's an excellent suggestion. Okay,
quickly before we go to break talking about love, Donna Kelsey,
that's Travis's mommy reveals the really sweet way that her
son always his text messages to her, revealing old mystery.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Well, first of all, happy birthday to fellow Libra Travis,
who turned thirty four on October fifth, and he got
a happy birthday text from his mom, but she actually
sent it a day before because she knew, as she
told Today dot Com, he was going to get about
a thousand texts on that day. So she said, I
know it's not your birthday until tomorrow, but happy birthday.

(14:25):
And then she said, he responds in the way he
always responds, and he just wrote, love you, mommy. And
she says, you know, she thinks it's he does it
for a laugh. Mostly it's not for a laugh, it's not.
She loves his mommy, yes, and then she added, just
in case people wanted to ask the question, because you know,
everybody wants to know about his love life. She said,

(14:47):
my sons don't talk about their love lives, and when
it's up to him to talk about it, and when
he finds the perfect partner, he'll talk about it. I'm sorry,
but I got to call a little bus on the
You know, if your son says love you, mommy, he's
telling you all about his woman. But I love the
way you've handled it.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Yes, yes, yes. My family, growing up, mysty we were
not big on the love word. A working class family
in Britain, the middle of England, in an industrial town.
We loved each other, but we just didn't say it
very much. Well, now that my mom and dad are
in their eighties, I've started ending every conversation with I
love you. I don't say mommy, but I do say

(15:27):
I love you. And then, just a couple of months ago,
before she hung up and I could tell she was
wildly uncomfortable, my mom said really quickly, I love you,
and I hung up. And then she got a little
slower the next week, and now she says it and
it just makes my day. Are you and your mom
big on the love word?

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Oh yeah?

Speaker 1 (15:46):
All the time.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
I always ended with love your mom, and she goes,
love you too, So it's it's something that we just
do in our household. When I see my nephews, I
just shower them on the I love you, love you
love you.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
To say it, say it, say it. It's so important. Okay,
we're going to take a quick break and we'll be
right back. Welcome back to the movie The Night Show
and Root with de offriend We love we can say
it on this show, Miss D look at you. Okay,
let's get to the polls. That show, we talked about
Travis Kelsey's mother saying she was underwhelmed when she met

(16:17):
Taylor Swift. So they asked her what was it like
to meet Taylor Swift and she was like, it was okay.
I don't think that's actually true. I think she was
so excited she just didn't want to really talk about it.
But my question was, should Taylor be offended. Let's have
a look fifty fifty all stand in the middle. I
think Taylor understands what's going on here. I'm sure she's

(16:38):
not offended. But if she wasn't Taylor Swift and you
met your boyfriend's mommy and she was asked about you,
miss D and her response was Miss De's Okay, would
you be offended?

Speaker 2 (16:53):
I mean, you want your your maybe possible future mother
in law to say that you're absolutely wonderful. But again,
we have to remember that everything Donna says is going
to be analyzed, scrutinized, and used in however it needs
to be used. So I think she's just like, Oh,
Taylor's okay, she's eating and let's be honest. Okay, Taylor's

(17:17):
had a lot of boyfriends, and maybe Donna doesn't want
to get excited. Oh so she's keeping it tempered when
there's a ring on the finger and a wedding dress
picked down, I'm sure she's gonna be like that girl
is fatvulous.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
I agree. Okay, don't forget to vote on today's pol
Go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Robber, at
Facebook page which is NERD to your sip am. Be
sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. And
now it's time for nicest of the Day.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Well, our nicest of the day is Lady Gaga because
she was spotted with her boyfriend Michael Polanski on a
rare date night. The two were spotted at a concert
in Vegas, sleamingly squashing any rumors of a split. So
the Born in This Way singer was first seen supporting
Katy Perry by Katy Perry's residency show Resorts World in

(18:07):
Las Vegas. She was with her boyfriend and her manager,
Bobby Campbell, and then a fan shared a clip of
the two of them walking around the venue and they
looked high. You know Lady Gaga who threw up a
peace sign. And then Lady Gaga and Michael were spotted
at a Vegas lavish new venue, the Spear to Watch
YouTube platform. I love that spot. She supports other singers.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
She does, she does what great shows. I hear this
sphere in Vegas. It's a billion dollar new venue and
it's meant to be amazing. Misty, next time we're in Vegas,
we will go. Okay, listen, I know it is the dayty,
Prince William's private and secretary has quit and people are
now raising eyebrows and questions about this. So Prince William
is reorganizing his office. He's gonna be the King. He's

(18:50):
very famous. He's like a little company. So he has
brought in a CEO to manage their staff. It's about
sixty people. They need a ceo. Well, the private secretary.
He was in charge. But now the private secretary is
going to have to report to the CEO. His feathers
are ruffled, so he's quit. It's so silly to do this,
my friends. I've been in jobs where new bosses have

(19:11):
been brought in and I want to quit, but I
couldn't be so I needed the money. And sometimes, actually
more often than not, it works out fine. Don't let
being offended or the perception that you were being offended,
really messed with your money. My friends, you can all
work this out out. Naughty is of the day. Let's
end with a murmur of rob you rub, but don't

(19:32):
steal boredom from your life, because boredom is a wonderful thing.
I know that sounds crazy, but yesterday I went on
my walk Misty, and my headphones stopped working. They were
not charged. They stopped working, and I walked for about
two hours. So I did about an hour and a
half without any music, and I was like going to
turn back. I was bored. You know what happened, something magical.

(19:53):
When you get bored, your imagination starts to flourish. Think
of all the time. So when you were little and
you were bored. We didn't have phones. We were a
little mistery, so a doodle. I'd mess about in the kitchen.
I'd start to write something down. I'd pick up my trumpet.
Being bored, I would argue, is a wonderful thing. So
allow a little bit of boredom into your life. Get

(20:13):
off your phones, sit there and think, hmm, that is
it for today. Thank you so much for listening to
