Speaker 1 (00:08):
Advice. Sure, welcome to the Dan Night Show. I'm your house.
So it's Friday, which means our dear friend Cory Andrew
joins us. Hey, Corey, are you there?

Speaker 2 (00:22):
I am here. Happy Friday, everyone.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Happy Friday. Another week. I love a Friday. I'm nearly done,
so I have like a couple of hours of work
to do and then I'm done for the day. I'll
be done by now, and lucky duck, I'm gonna get
myself a Marga Reta and a good book I think
for the rest of the day. Okay, let's jump into
the show. We've got a ton of gossip to get
to you. What time is it? My friends rules to
your time? So a big story at the top of

(00:47):
the show that I can take a little credit for.
Sutton Foster has split with her husband after her secret
romance with Hugh Jackman explode. So a year ago, I
was the first reporter to write that Sutton and Hugh
had got very friendly during their time on Broadway together.

(01:07):
Shortly after my report, Hugh and his wife broke up,
and now nine ten months later, Sutton and her husband
of ten years, he's a screenwriter called Ted Griffin, have
called it quits. So this development comes after we told
you first that they grew very very close on Broadway,

(01:27):
and Insider said they have been inseparable. Everyone in the
theater world has seen their chemistry up close and personal.
It's only a matter of time before the truth comes out.
They went on to say that she was quite surprised
by this. Sutton was very excited to work with Hugh Jackman.
She's so talented, she's so brilliant. She was excited to

(01:49):
be on stage with Hugh Jackman. But she never won
second thought that they would fall in love. This is
a complicated one for me because I feel terribly here
for Deborah, his wife of twenty seven years. I've known
her quite a while. She's a really, really good person.
And so one day she's going to rehearsals with her
husband for this new Broadway revival of The Music Man,

(02:12):
and then the next day he's hooking up with the
leading lady. And I hate seeing relationships. And another friend
of mine, though, did point out that you can't deny
love and if you fall in love, I can see
your roll in your ass. If you fall in love
and they have been together, now this is not just
the show mance. The show has been gone for a

(02:33):
year and they're still dating, so they are still together.
If they do end up getting together officially, they're together,
trust me. But if they get together officially, I hope
it lasts. I hope he doesn't blow up or Q
hasn't blown up his whole life for a fleet.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
For a Yes, well, you raise a great point about that,
because very often people get excited when they're working together.
It's something new, it's something fresh, and the mistake is
off and made that people confuse that for love. They
confuse that for something that they would go ruin their
marriage for or wreck their homes for. So what I
would say to that is if the marriage was already

(03:09):
in jeopardy, if they were already emotionally drifting in part,
that is where you're susceptible to this. But if you're
in love with someone, you can go to work every day.
I mean the rest of us go to work every
day and come home without having a relationship with someone
you know or or leaving our husbands. Right, So they're
at work, it's a work relationship. So I think there's
probably trouble in paradise beforehand, and this allows it to

(03:34):
open up if there's already a vulnerability.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
I get it. I get what you're saying. I wouldn't
allow it to happen. It just would never get to
that point with me. If I was in a job
and somebody was flirting with me for the first ten minutes,
I think, oh, it'd be funny, it's flattering. Flattering, that's
the right word. It'd be really flattering. But it would
never get past that point with me. Just I would
never allow my mind to drift to that point. But

(03:58):
maybe that's because I'm happy in my life marriage she wasn't.
So sometimes I wish, though, that when you're not happy
in your marriage, I wish that you took a break,
didn't date anybody else, But just take a moment to
figure that out. Because if you if you replace the
person so quickly, is it really love or is it

(04:20):
just moving on? Is it rebound? Is it a rebound?
I like Sutton, and I'm sad too. I don't know
her husband, but I'm sad a ten year marriage has ended.
It's amazing that when couples, when married people choose to cheat,
they blow up two different worlds, not just their own world,

(04:43):
but also the world of the person they're cheating with.
It's a major, major responsibility, one that I could not handle. Corey,
It's not for me.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Well, look at the situation with Angelina and Brad pitt Aniston.
I mean it's a very similar thing where you had.
I think Brad just got enamored with He's working with
one of the most beautiful women in the world physically,
and he was like, you know what, I'm going to
risk it all and he did. But I don't want
to be an advocate for I'm not being an advocate

(05:13):
for having adulterous affairs. But my point is you don't
have to wreck your home if you have a wandering eye.
That's all I'm gonna say.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Nice what you're saying. I'm just saying what you're saying.
But I think the problem is here is it wasn't
just the wondering. I I think we fell in love.
My sources are telling me that Sutton is in love
and Hugh is in love and this is worth blowing up,
blowing up both of their lives. There's children involved as well. Oh,
it is complicated, isn't it, Which brings us to our

(05:42):
whole question of the day. Sutton Foster has split from
her husband after her secret romance with Hugh Shackman has
been exposed. Our questions quite an interesting one. I want
you to think about this. Did Blake and Ryan know
about the affair? Do you think he's best friends with
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds? He's just finished a movie

(06:06):
with Ryan, Ryan and Blake new debb the wife. They've
been out together as a foursome and so when deb
stopped coming for dinner? Did Sutton come over to the apartment?
Did she introduce them to Sutton? Do they know? You
do tell your friend your secrets? So what do you
think did Ryan Reynolds Reynolds know about the affair? Go

(06:34):
vote on our Twitter page. I'd noughty Nise rob her
Facebook page with some Lordy Today's Nordy does it? And
be she there to check back on Monday to hear
your results. Hey, Corey Love, what are you working on? Well?

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Yes, in another celebrity story, of course, but more somber,
I would say is emotional. The story here is Rosie
o'donnald breaking her silence on TikTok after her daughter Chelsea's
neglect of children of children. She got arrested for that,
and you know, Rosie's now on TikTok talking about it
and pretty emotional video, you know, pretty emotional where she

(07:08):
said it's hard to be a public person sometime, but
it's also and I love that she acknowledges this, it's
also hard for the children of those public people, and
that is something that's often overlooked, you know, and she
says that is one of those things where you know,
everybody has these going on in her family, but when
you're a public figure and you have to live it
so publicly, it's really much more difficult. So police were

(07:30):
called to Chelsea's residence on September ten, of course, and
it was following a domestic disturbance. Now, when they got
to the house, the house was in squalor, covered in filth.
There were reportedly meth amphetamine pipes, hypodermic needles where and
they were all within reach of Chelsea's eleven month old son, Atlas,

(07:51):
who could have easily got a hold of these things,
which would have been devastating in a whole other story obviously,
So the child protective services were notified and now Chelsea
faces felony charges including drug possession and chow neglect. There's
some really really serious stuff. But Rosie took to you know,
the internet, despite how difficult it was, to thank her fans,

(08:13):
to thank the fans for their kind of words and
well wishes. And I have to say again, I love
that she talked about the fact that children are impacted
because did not ask to be.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
No, they didn't.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
The children as people who knows how that impacts them?

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. And you're never going to
step out of your mom and dad's shadow. Your mom
and dad are superstars. It's really hard. Financially, you're never
going to step out of their shadow too. It is
so complicated. I know Rosie a little bit, and she's
a really good mom. This is something she really tries hard.
And remember when she adopted Chelsea. I think Chelsea came

(08:48):
from a drug addicted biological mother too. A lot going
on here, and Rosie brought Chelsea into her home and
loved her and still loves her. But what can she do?
It breaks her heart and she would pay all the
money in the world she has to get Chelsea help,
but up to yet it hasn't worked. But that does

(09:10):
not mean Rose is going to stop trying. But I
do agree with Rosie. It is difficult, isn't it, being
a celebrity. It's easy to being a celebrity when you
walk in a red carpet and you're looking glamorous, you're
on that ozen pic and you're all fair. It isn't
easy being a celebrity if you put on some weight,
or when life gets difficult or your children have problems.

(09:31):
I think Rose has handled this in a really elegant,
classy way. She's obviously known about it for a month.
She hasn't said anything. The story broke, and then she
made this really heartfelt, authentic video where she talked about
being a celebrity, talked about being a mom. If you
haven't seen it, check it out. Okay, the following story

(09:52):
made me a bit sad too. Liam Neeson, who is
seventy two and a very good looking man, may I say,
has revealed that he's saying goodbye to dat in saying
I'm past all that. So in a new interview with
People magazine, he said he's completely over dating. When he
was asked about his romantic life, Liam bluntly replied, quote no,
in a word, I'm passed all that. Wow. He went

(10:15):
on to say that He's had a full life and
now he's focused on other things. Now, what I should
remind everybody is Liam's wife, Natasha Richardson, died of a
tragic skiing accident in two thousand and nine. He said, quote,
it was a horrible thing to happen. He didn't want

(10:38):
to talk about it much more. So. I don't think
Liam Neeson is giving up on dating anymore because he's
seventy two. I don't think that's it. I think it's
when Natasha died. After that, it took him a long
time to start dating again. He did, he had a
few romances. I actually know somebody who went on a

(10:59):
few dates with him and thought he was lovely, But
he clearly was still in love with Natasha and he
never got over that. Maybe he never will get over
something is a really cruel way of phrasing it. Maybe
you never made peace with it. I don't think you
ever get over something like that. But I think that
I understand this here is that he wants to remember
Natasha and how could somebody come along and catch his eye.

(11:21):
I hope, sir, I'm optimistic about this, but I think
until he makes peace with what happened, the tragedy. What happened?
Then I understand what he's saying. What about you? Yeah,
I think that it's.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Really one of those things where once someone is your
when you think someone is your soulmate, and you lose them,
you don't have that companionship anymore, and everyone else is
sort of like a consolation prize. No matter how wonderful
they are, they're just not that person. And it's interesting
my grandfather about twenty years before he passed away, he

(11:53):
lost my grandmother and they were married as high school sweethearts.
Are both at the age of sixteen year married, and
he didn't remarry again. I mean he could have gone.
I was still a handsome man. And he died of
ninety three twenty years later.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
Life. Oh, Cory, that's so interesting. I think I'm quite
happy surrounding myself with my friends, like the whole that
would be in my heart in my life, I would
fill that with all my girlfriends. With you, I'd be
at Bottinas every night. I don't necessarily put romance or

(12:29):
finding somebody new as high as I did when I
was in my twenties. I wanted to have that, sure,
I wanted to have a partner, but now that I'm older,
there's something about companionship and hanging out with friends, and
I love being with Bruceles. Nobody I'd rather be with.
But I must admit I do have some good nights
with my friends and I laugh and I would be

(12:53):
totally happy with that. I understand what Liam's saying here,
but once again, I don't think it's because he's seventy two.
You don't just stop dating at seventy two, as we
know from the Golden Bachelorette, which I'm obsessed with. So Liam,
I hope somebody comes along. But I do understand what
you're saying. Okay, moving along. Roblo is finally admitted to
having a brief little fling with a certain superstar tell

(13:14):
me everything.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Well, what's so funny about this? Adn'tyone like anyone who
knows the whole Black Pack. We just assumed they were
just like in one big bed to the eighties, you know. So,
but Rob Loow is admitting that he had a brief
fling with Demi Moore during their their brat pack days
in the nineteen eighties. So he confirmed the speculation, and
he says, I mean Demi and I briefly, I'm not

(13:37):
telling tales out of school was briefly we had a thing,
so you know, of course he got he came back
to a big acclaim on the Parks and Recreation Show
in the past few years. But he said, you know, lightheartedly,
he joked about the atmosphere on the set of Saint
Elmo's Fire. I think said that's pretty much.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
What I assumed anyway.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
But he also went on to mention that was people
don't remember that Demi Moore and Emilio Estevez were in
aged for a while during this time, right, And he said,
even how they got all together, still remained good friends
even after that romance fizzle. So they were just a
really interesting part of American pop culture.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
It was it was a moment.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
It was a moment, and for me, Molly Ringworld was like, oh,
I was obsessed with Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
Molly Ringwald's or not.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Yeah, we just love the brad.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Pat I look, but I think you're right. He's sort
of telling us something or confirming something we already all do,
or at least okay, quickly before we get a break.
I love this story. Oliver Hudson is admitting that he
hated fans coming up to his mom, Goldie Horn, when
he was little. He's opening up about it, saying that
when people came over for autographs, he absolutely hated it

(14:43):
because those interruptions were distracting from his personal time he
wanted with his mummy. He said, quote, I reflect on
these feelings that I used to have when I was
a young person, people coming up and wanting her Goldie
Horn's attention. We forget what a big star aldi holme
by a major star. And he said it distracted her

(15:04):
from her energy towards me, and I hated it. He
did go on to say, though, and I do this
makes me laugh. He said Kate was fine with it.
He said, Kate loved it. Kate was like bringing up
when somebody came over and wanted an autograph or a photograph,
Kate was like, do you want mine to? Kay? Always do.
She was going to be a star. Okay, We're going
to take a quick breaks and we would be right back.

(15:25):
Welcome back to the naughty benign. He's proud turn over
your friend Cory Andrew. Hey, Corey, let's get to the
polls that they don't How shall we talk about Mega
Markle keeping a personal memoir as a weapon in her
back pocket for revenge if needed. All. How clever is
it clever? That was our question, divius or smart? Let
someone like oh seventy percent said smart. She knows everything

(15:48):
and she's holding onto it for when she needs it.
God forbid her and Harry break up. That's when she'll
tell all. At the minute, she don't need the money
they're doing. Okay, Harry has inherited all that money from Granny.
They've got a ton of money. They've just bought a
new five million dollar house in Portugals Monday. They got
the money, and Harry made a lot of money from
that book, The Megan's Leg While these memories are still fresh,

(16:10):
Why did I just write this doubt and then I've
got it ready to go when I did? I think
I agree with you noughties. It is very smart. Hey,
don't forget to vote on today's poem. Got to my
Twitter page and nights wrong on a Facebook page, which
is naughty gossip. I'd be shure to check back on
Monday you to hear your results. And now I love
this part of the show. It's time for a noisy

(16:31):
of the Jurday.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
And this is nice because I just imagine these two
paling around. So, yeah, this is kind of great. So
Meryl Streep and Martin Short they formed like this really
amazing bond on the set of their well, the hit
show Only Murderers in the Building.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
It's a good show.

Speaker 2 (16:47):
It's a really good show. And this is from one
of the co creators who is saying that Meryll and Martin,
that's Meryl Streep and Martin Short Boom. They have formed
this amazing friendship and they are really delighted by each
other on screen and off screens, the kid and it's
really yeah, and offscreen off the kind of really get along.
And so I think it makes you do your job
better when you like the person you're working with. So

(17:10):
this is coming out ahead of season fours. That's how long.
I mean, time flies already in season four. And this
co creator says, you know, sometimes he takes a look
at them, and he says he remembers thinking like God,
and I think that's a positive thing. He's thinking, like,
how amazing it is that he watches the two or
he or she we don't know who was this co creator,
but the two of them are being watched, you know,

(17:30):
from the from the crew. And it's a really unbelievable
thing to see this friendship that they are just delighting
in each other on the screen in every way so great.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
Ensure your life, live your best life. And now I
noticed the day Todd Christly from that reality show has
been fired from the prison chapel job he had for
chatting too much. So he's got himself a nice because
she job in the prison in the chapel. However, according
to his attorney, the decision to remove Todd from the

(18:01):
role was because he was a chatty cats and he
didn't shut up talking. I mean, it makes me these
realities does even when the cameras aren't on, they need
the attention, needing, needy, needy, needy, needy. Well, now Todd
has to apply for another job within the prison. We
should remind everybody that he's in jail because of tax evasion,

(18:23):
so he didn't pay his taxes. Paying your taxes, everybody,
and so he got caughties in jail and he had
a nice job in the chapel or I bet that's
a nice job. Well, he couldn't keep his mouth shut,
and now he has been fired. And the day, let's said,
with the moment of r get a rub. We try
to give you all the great funny celebrity gossip for

(18:46):
fifteen twenty minutes, but for a moment, we're a little
bit more deep. Today's moment of rub. I always do
something that I'm a little not ready to do, and
I think that's how you grow. Don't ever turned something
down because you're not one hundred percent qualified. Now you
shouldn't be zero percent, and you shouldn't be ten percent,

(19:07):
But anything above sixty, in my book, is a win.
And this is really interesting. There's a new study act
and it shows that men apply for jobs when they
are sixty percent or more qualified, women apply for jobs
when they're ninety five percent qualified. Don't do that if
you're sixty percent. It's a motto on this show. You're

(19:30):
good enough, Ye're good enough, go for it. I like
feeling a little bit uncomfortable, not totally uncomfortable. I don't
want to be out of my depth completely. Sure, I've
been a little bit uncomfortable. I like it. I remember
when you first went in studio at News Nation, Cory,
you were a little nervous. But now I've done it,
and I bet it was a good feeling. But now
you've done it and you were great. It must feel fabulous, yes, yes, and.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
And thank you for bringing that up, because I've gotten
better because of those early opportunities. But also I now
speak to leaders. When I do other podcasts, I speak
to successful businessmen. They all have that in common, and women.
They all have that in common that they were given
an opportunity and they weren't sure if they can do it.
But instead of saying no, they said yes, and I'll
figure it out. I'll figure it there.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
My first podcast. I've never done a podcast before, so
by definition I didn't know how to do and I said, yes,
it was awful, but I figured it out. Now I'm marvelous.
Thank you very much. Okay, that is it for this week.
Thank you so much for listening to They don't have
been nice with Robert Corey show a prediction and I
had radio didn't figure this This guy on the iHeartRadio
app Apple podcast. Wherever you listen, leave us a review
if you can. They really do help and we do

(20:34):
read them and remember all together. Now let me hear
you singing out loud, if you're going to be to
