Speaker 1 (00:10):
Sure.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
It's hell no, no, no. Welcome to the naughty but
nice sho your house, Rob Shooter, And it's Monday morning,
bright and early on Monday morning. How are you naughties?
Joining us today is one of my favorite people in
the world, Garrett Vergel. Are you there?
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Oh gosh, Rob, I love you too. How is your
How is your holiday? Your holiday?
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Weekends?
Speaker 2 (00:34):
It was absolutely lovely. We spent Thankgiving with Thanksgiving with
friends and then a dear friend of my remember Dylan
Dylan from from Australia. He's back in New York. So
I saw Dylan over the weekend and my liver is
still angry. Thanks Dylan, Thank you, Dylan. It's great.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Give me the leftovers. Give me the leftovers, Dylan.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
It's great when you see somevan an old friend, someone
you've known for a really long time, and you just
pick up right away. I was a little nervous. I've
not seen him in like three or four years.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Oh wow.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
I was like, oh gosh, I hope we still like
each other. I hope we've still got stuff to talk about.
Within less than thirty seconds, it was just like the
old times. It was lovely.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
It was like you saw him yesterday exactly like you know.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
That's the sign, isn't it. You're really good friends.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Oh, that's a great friend too.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
And I just need to know because it's all over
the news today. Are you a a leftover type of guy?
Of do you have any leftovers in the fridge for Thanksgiving?
Speaker 2 (01:29):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:29):
God, they say today's the last day.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
So if you're listening to this right now, on the
December one, you need to get rid of all your
leftovers as of today or else Apparently you'll explode.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
If you eat them.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
So oh I love leftover crabbersauce. I love it. I
wish I had some dam thinking about it. Okay, let's
jump in down. Ah, no leftos as there's today. Everything
is fresh, fresh frish. Let's jump in. What time is it?
It is tea time at the top of the snow.
This it's a big news report. It's not my report,
but there is a news report at that Taylor's is
(02:00):
going to have a global global bachelorette of bash parties,
so she's going to go around the world with her friends.
Before she says I do. This is coming from the
Sun in the UK. A bridal squad including Selena Gomez
they're close Gigi Hadeed, Sophie Turner or these are all
close friends. Brittany Mahone, she's part of the gang now too.
(02:22):
They've lined up at least three or four luxury trips
in the next coming months. The hotspots they're talking about
is New York City. Duh, Taylor's based here, Italy. All
that sounds nice to Bahamas, Nashville. This sounds like real fun.
The problem is is that when this group travels together,
there's security logistics. Yeah, this isn't just you and me,
(02:43):
Garrett going away for a weekend. This is a lot,
a lot of work, and you have to think of that.
When you're as famous as Taylor Swift, there is unfortunately
a really dark side that comes with being that famous
and that security. And so I think this has to
be very carefully planned out. It's almost like a royal
visits to each of these cities. But good look to them.
It sounds fun. I love this idea. What do you
(03:04):
think you know?
Speaker 3 (03:05):
If this was just a normal person, all the bride'smaids
would be like, are you kidding me? I cannot pay
for all this that's plus a wedding, you know what
I mean? So this is kind of cool that and
you know Taylor is going to foot the bill for
her own bachelorette even though it is it is in
tradition the bride's maids are supposed to pretty much pay
for everything. Yeah, you know, I don't see Selena Gomez
(03:25):
starting a Venmo page of hey, send Taylor a drink?
Speaker 2 (03:29):
You know, But what happens if we we know the
high profile people, but Taylor has regular friends too, like
these are very friendous people. But what happens if that
entire trip was planned plus Rob Shooter, I couldn't afford it.
Who's person on the trip?
Speaker 3 (03:44):
I think if you were in the Taylor Swift realm
of friends, I think she would cover you, just like
she she's going to cover Selena and Gigi and Sofi
and Brie.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
She will. However, you can't assume that. So by the
time you.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Say yes or no trip, you get on the private
jet and then dollars.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Who are really really cheap. I do know a few
rich people who I've had dinner with a couple of
rich people and I assumed, I hoped, I prayed that
they'd pick up the check. They did not. They split it,
and I ended up with one hundred bowl of pasta.
It's not wrong, my God, to be careful. You have
to be so careful here. If you're a regular friend,
and Taylor does have regular friends, do you say yes
(04:23):
to this trip hoping that you're paid.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
But you have to gamble? You have to gamble, you know, yeah?
I think you have to gamble. The other The other
interesting thing though, too, is like, I mean, we know
from movies and just our own experiences, you know, either
you could have a very simple bachelor bachelorette party or
you can have the most extreme you know, hangover one,
two and three type movie bachelor parties.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
But for them, I just see them going to dinner,
like you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (04:49):
Like, I think they're just going to four different dinners
in four different places and calling it a day.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
What else are they doing?
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Come to New York, got a China time one night,
get a little the other night. You've got everything covered here.
My sources are pushing back a little bit on this
story there, so I hit the phones. I've got excellent
Taylor sources, and they said that this is just so
out of touch. This would feel like the Jeff Bezos wedding.
Remember that wedding that Jeff had in Italy, and it
was just about billionaires. It was really showing off, like, look,
look how much money we've got. The Italians didn't really
(05:17):
want them there. They messed up the city, They didn't
add anything to the city. I don't think anybody wants
to go to very Snabbed just because Jeff Bezos got
married there. So Tailor's a lot more should we say
it tuned, She's a lot more tuned into the moment
people are suffering out there. Let's be honest. We were
just talking about Thanksgiving. I had some friends this year
who had a little bit of difficulty, like the prices
(05:39):
are through the roof. Inflation feels like it's worse than ever,
and so I think, if we're all struggling, and we are,
let's be honest, I've certainly noticed the increasing prices. If
we're struggling, and then we're looking at Taylor just spending
money on just traveling around the world. She's too smart
for that, you.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Know what I see happening, And shame on the Bezos
for a night capitalizing on this opportunity. Take you know,
in lieu of gifts, Please donate to Blank yes, so
I think she could do that quietly, and then all
of a sudden, all those people that she quietly donated
to speak on her behalf of Oh my god, Taylor
(06:17):
just gave us five million dollars. But you know something
the Bezos stupidly didn't do, and you know, everyone bought
them gifts for something.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
I think they did. I think they did ask for
a charity in the end, but I think they were
shamed into it. Garrett, You're right, there was something about
that that was very, very odd, which brings us there
to our pole question, the big rumor, big report that
Taylor's gonna have a global bachelorette bash, lots of them
all around the world. Is this fabulous or is it
tone deaf? It could be turned deaf? What do you
think fabulous or tootes on. I think it's turned deaf?
(06:50):
I did it's toty nice? Rob our Facebook pages Nody
goes Amy shoots to check back to him a rale
hear your results? Hey, what are you working on?
Speaker 1 (06:59):
All? Right? Well?
Speaker 3 (07:00):
You know, we rarely talk about Ed Sheeran, but over
the weekend he did release some new music for his
deluxe album, his original album Play came out in September,
and he just put out this deluxe album and in
one of his songs, he's revealing his marriage to his wife, Cherry,
a little strain based off of his global tour that
he's been on over the last two years.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
You know, Ed's thirty four years old.
Speaker 3 (07:23):
He was talking about, you know, thirteen new songs that
pretty much just led us into, you know, his life
a little bit. Normally we don't get that much into
his life on songs. You know, they're very vague, but
you know, kind of speak to everybody. In the track Problems,
he confesses the couple has been struggling, you know, by
with the lyrics of flowers in our.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
Garden are dying, We're not fine. We've got problems. I
don't know how to solve them.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
And you know, he even goes deeper on another one
called Wargame, admitting that he feels deflated and you know,
he's trying to fight to keep their relationship on track,
and you know, it's a apparently inches from.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Moving out and moving on. Either we're in love or
we're insane.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
And even on Friday, there's another song called Skeletons where
he talks about you know, knowing each other's you know,
weak points in a fight and stabbing each other with
a knife and bringing it up at two am.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Can we just get through the night and you know,
move on. You know.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
So it's the first time we're really hearing you know
Ed Sheeran kind of opening up. You know, we think
you know every you know tailor included Ed Sheeran. All
these pop stars lead these glamorous, rich lives, but they're
normal too. They go through the same relationship issues that
you and I and everybody else listening do go through.
But we just assume that all is great because they
(08:43):
make so much money.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
He's honesty really inspires me. Every relationship is difficult. It
doesn't matter if they're really good relationships. I have some
wonderful relationships in my life, but they all have moments
where you have to think and wonder. And so I
really respect him for doing this. He does not need
to do this, and I think that this is going
to really help other people. It's probably gonna help him too.
(09:06):
I'm told that his wife knew about this. This was
not bryan'side. This was not like.
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Surprise probably a whole other song.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
This is like he didn't secretly drop an album like Beyonce,
like surprise, like no, no, No, she knew about it.
Really honest, I like him a lot, I really do.
I saw him live and I was shocked to how
many of his songs I knew. How charismatic he is.
He's not what I like like. He's not Liberachi. He
doesn't come out with fireworks and feathers. He's not Lady Gaga.
(09:36):
He's not cheer. It's a quite a quite a.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
Man and a guitar and a bunch of little pedal Yeah,
and he has a great, a great documentary. It's a
it's a one shot documentary on Netflix where he shot
right here in New York City where he starts at
one location and he travels all throughout New York City
walking around to birthday parties, to arrangements on the subway,
and then he ends back where he he was rehearsing
(10:01):
for the show when he pleas, you know.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Let's talk about him more. I like him and I
can't wait to get this album. Okay, moving along. Paul Anchor.
You might know Paul Anchor. He's now eighty four years old.
He was a massive star. He hung out Frank Sinatra
my way that that fabulous song that Frank Frank turned
into a massive hit. He rewrote the lyrics to that.
He has been around forever, knows everybody what. He just
(10:25):
sat down for an interview. He has a new documentary
coming out, which I'm told is fantastic because it talks
about the old Hollywood Frank Sinacher right Rackpack Vegas, like
that sort of world that doesn't really exist anymore. Well,
he said to page six that he hung out with
Frank so much that he even hung out with him
in the sauna. Now, O chicky, cheeky friend, Nicki Gostin
(10:49):
at page six a great friend of mine. The reporter
couldn't help herself. And if you're in a sauna with
a gentleman, they're straight guys, but they're in the sauna together.
Nicky had to ask, there's a rumor about Frank, that
Frank is very well blessed. Well, paul Anka confirmed it.
He said, I've seen it. It's massive.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
But you know what, you know what that's called a
good friend.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
No matter what, you know what I mean, like if
like if you say you seem a little conceited, you
know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Even if it wasn't as big.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
But if you have a good friend like paul Anka,
like you say, you back him up, like if you
hate Now, if paul Anka hated Frank Sinatra, the thing,
I couldn't even see it in there, you know what
I mean. Like, So that's how you know you have
a good friend. When your friend could speak of your
endowment in such positivity, you know it's a good writer
or dive for in.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
I spoke to Nicky yesterday and I said, well, you're
nervous asking the question. She said, no, no, no, she said,
he led her to the question you're talking about with
Frank Sinatra. And there's been a lot of rumors about him.
He's the John Hamm of his generation. Let's put it
like that. So all the rumors that we have about
John Hamm walking around, I.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Think how many pictures we were to have Frank Sinatra. Yeah,
if he was around like John hamwoe.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
That's what we'd have pictures of Frank, except but Frank.
So it sounds naughty, doesn't it. But it just make
me giggle a little bit. I'm a little bit queasy
about talking about people's private parts. It makes me blush
a little bit. But This made me. This made me giggle,
and I like to you said, paul Anka, what a
good mate.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
That's a great friend.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
It's a great, great friend. Poor anchor. I Now, we
don't do the oldest so much on this show, but
occasionally they pop up and I'm like, ah, we just
have to talk about this, Okay, moving along, Yes, Elizabeth
Olsen maybe the Olsen that we don't talk about much
that merchant. Kate and Ashley are certainly the biggest stars
in the family, but Elizabeth is a big star too.
(12:41):
She's opening up about her childhood. What does she have
to say?
Speaker 1 (12:45):
So it's interesting.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
I mean, we all know Mary Kate and Ashley Olson
from Full House and all the you know, the Disney
esque shows growing up and their clothing line, and they're billionaires.
But you know, we really don't show that much attention
to Elizabeth Olson, who was just as equally as talented in.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
That family, you know.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
But she was talking about, you know, the upbringing and
how her famous older sisters Mary, Kate and Ashley also
and were expected to cheer her on, whether they liked
it or not. I mean, which is kind of good parenting,
you know what I mean. That's mom and dad going, hey, listen,
come on, you give your your sister a little bit
of support.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
You know.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
In the interview with The Times, Elizabeth was saying that
her childhood pretty chaotic, and I can only imagine what
it was like, you know, long days spent on movie sets,
while while you know, her sisters worked. As the youngest
of four siblings born within five years, she had, the
typical bedtime rituals were non existent. You know, the idea
(13:42):
of a calm bath and bedtime story was so tender.
We didn't have anything like that. You know, she didn't
lead the Okay, it's eight o'clock. Time to sack a nye,
brush her teeth, go to bed.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
You know.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
She revealed that Mary, Kate and Ashley were forced to
watch all my plays, go to dance performances throughout the childhood,
you know, and the Kayosh.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
She says she loved being the baby of the clan.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
It remains close with her with her big sisters today,
which you know, as I was reading this, uh, you know,
it just made me think about, you know, my childhood
with my siblings too. And you know, you get dragged
to dance recitals and you might not necessarily want to go.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
That's just like, you know, the the sibling things like
why don't I.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Want to go sit there for two hours and watch
a bunch of other people, including my sister dance. But
you do it anyway because you know it makes mom happy,
it makes dad happy, it makes your sibling happy. Though
you hate your hate it with a passion, you still
do it. So I kind of relate to, uh, to Elizabeth. Uh,
you know, growing up with two famous sisters like that.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
They really are famous sisters, aren't they? And I can't
imagine a time when there weren't the Olsen twins. It
feels like I need there forever.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
You got to think too, you gotta think that Elizabeth's
friends growing up were always like.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Hey, uh, it is Mary Kaye Ashley home, you know,
like today.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
And I saw those two there. I've spotted them. They
live in New York and they're very, very private. I've
seen oh yeah in the West Village, desperately private. They
have money there because of that clothing line. They're billionaires, billionaires,
but we got that none.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Even because of full House, which was very it was
just like yeah, not because they had like a very
small singing career growing up when there were ten because
of their clothing.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Shoes, bags, and they've made a lot of money. Good
for them. Okay, we're going to take a quick they
can make a little bit of money and we will
be right back.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
Not much.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Welcome back to the naught even nice showing your host
from shooting with the dear friendly Garrett. Good, Hey, Garrett,
let's get to the pot.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
What do we have here?
Speaker 2 (15:36):
Last Taylor certain Hugh Jackman witnessed Ryan Reynolds's explosive Showdan
with Justin Belderney. So we'd heard rumors about this. We'd
hurt Taylor was at the apartment when this blow up happened.
Now we know through court documents she was then. And
I feel for Taylor here because it has been it
has been implied it's being suggested that Blake invited her
(15:58):
over and they knew they were going to confront Justin.
So this feels somewhat like a setup. We don't know
that as a fact yet, but we do know that
Taylor was there when this happened. That question was quite simple,
will Taylor have to testify? So this is such a
messy case. Taylor's now a witness. She was in the room,
she was in the apartment. Hugh Jackman was there too,
(16:19):
But I think we're a little bit more interested in
Taylor here. But they might they might both have to testify.
And if indeed it does come out that Blake invited
them over on purpose, just so that she had I
don't think it's hard, isn't it. But they will be
text messages, Like I if Taylor has a text from Blake,
so come over, I just hang out like it's going
(16:40):
to be. Really the whole thing's messy, and she doesn't
do messy. Taylor does not do messy.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
But I also think Blake is very smart in a
a in a sense where she knows that if she
just said, hey, why don't you come over? You know
what I mean? So Taylor and you might have had
no idea, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (16:57):
They but Blake, it it's just gonna look bad, That's
what I'm saying. They said to Blake, Oh, so you
invited did you mention to Taylor that Justin was gonna
come over ten minutes later? Because there will be a
text when Justin's coming over? All when you mean so
all this is just once again, Taylor did nothing wrong here.
There's not there's nothing, nothing wrong. It's Blake. It's Blake.
I'm worried for this could make Blake really min that Peter.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Blake has to pay for the bachelorette party.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Basically, she's the one that has.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
To make a vote. We didn't do the we didn't
do the answer. What do you think here? Will they
have to testify? Yes, they will. I think I agree.
I think they're involved in this. Now, Hey, don't forget
to vote on today's Paul going to Twitter page add
naughty nice rob our facebook page is naughty goozim and
be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
And that oh it's done for a noisiest of the day.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Well, first off, happy birthday to Dancing with the Star
champion Robert Irwin.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Today's birthday. How about that?
Speaker 3 (17:56):
So Prince William and Kate Middleton actually joined just like
the rest of the world, congratulating their friend Robert Irwin
on the Dancing with the Stars season thirty four win.
You know they sent a message could congratulations to Robert
and Whitney's partner, The Prince and Princess of Wales commented
on Irwin's Instagram.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
It has to be kind of cool. Right.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
You wake up in the morning, you know, as you
and I do, and you're scrolling on your phone like
everybody does, and then you see a comment from the
Prince and Princess of Wales, you know what I mean.
Like it's not like an average person commenting on an
Instagram post.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
It is the freaking future King of England right.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
There, you know what I mean, you know, And and
it comes with a video that came earlier in the
season where William was, you know, congratulating both Robert and
Whitney too on their less and you know it's so
it's so it was cool to see, you know, he
just you know, you just wish the Fron Brothers would
have had that much love on the air, you know
(18:55):
what I mean.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Like, it's the future King of England, and the f
Runs looked as if he was sort of little bit
shoes worn, busy, busy, a little bit busy, naughty, naughty, naughty,
although it was how niceest, nicest, nicest Okay, now let's
do I naught is the day naughty, naughty, naughty Prince
Andrew should say the ex Prince Andrew anymore, he is
refusing to leave the Royal Lodge. If you remember, a
couple of months ago, he was going to lose his
(19:17):
title and leave the Royal Lodge. Right, Well, now he's saying,
not so fast. I'm not leaving. If I do leave,
I've got a list of demands. One is I want
a substantial house, so on to full time staff. I'm
on a garden roll, on a driver, i want personal security.
Plus he wants seventy five million pounds in cash. Let
me explain them. So he signed a lease. He signed
(19:39):
a seventy five year lease on the Loyal Royal Lodge.
And this is the problem. That is a legal document.
He did sign it, but he paid practically nothing for
this lease. Now, at today's market value, to rent the
Royal Lodge would cost about a million pounds a year.
So Andrew's arguing, this is his logic, that he has
a seventy five year lease. It's a million dollar house
(20:01):
a year. That's seventy five million pounds.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
I love how people think.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
I love that's but there's some logic to me. I
don't agree with him at all. Here, naughties, but that's
where that money's coming from. Seventy five year lease. It's
a million at least a million pounds a year to rent.
For me to have the same level of luxury for
the next seventy five years, I need seventy five million.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
The hell is a mortgage rate like for seventy five years?
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Well, the key he's got problems because he can't kick
him out. That least does exist. That naughty is the daily.
Same with the moment, rob You're six months of real
focus can fix six years of chaotic life. You don't
need a miracle. You need a decision. Six months of
showing up even when you don't feel like it. Six
(20:46):
months of choosing discipline over distraction. Six months of cleaning
up one small corner of your life at a time
that will change everything. Just do it. Six months now
can change the next six years. Hey, that is it
for today. Thank you so much for listening. So they're
not even nice with Robin Garritcher Productions of Ihart Radio.
(21:06):
Don't think it's to subscribe on the art radio app,
Apple podcast wherever you listen, leave us a review if
you can, they help and remember altogether. Now, if you're
going to be.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Got to make.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
Everybody, it's starting.
Speaker 1 (21:19):
But nice with Ron
