Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume. Willian last episode of twenty twenty five. Yay,
thank you to everybody that has listened this entire year
that didn't be here. Oh god, I want to say,
we wouldn't make it. Bow wow. Thank you with Jagged

(00:22):
Edge is an underrated record. Yeah, man, last episode. How
do you feeling this? This is twenty twenty five. This
year flu great year, not believe, but yes, it was
a good year. Highs and lows. I do want to
thank everyone that listened this entire year. And we're gonna
do what we've been doing for shit last ten years.
We're gonna do a wrap up of the year episode.

(00:42):
Do that. This one without our brother Elliott Wilson and
you know, a few few shots at tequila, all of
that is gone. But I do have my my end
of the year cup. I got a little rose in here,
I got a little peppermint tea water. Damaris is still
hung over from two weeks ago. So we are here
to wrap up the year and go through all the
great music moments, producers versus lyricists everything. I like this,

(01:07):
this type of shit. It's nerdy list stuff, but.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I think it's I think it's what you do because
you said, we said, we agreed on top ten rap
in top ten R and B albums of the Year,
and of course Rory has to show everybody his musical
taste and once everybody know what he was listening to
a right.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
It's very much Teacher's pets. You couldn't hate are you
gonna collect the home?

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Or just couldn't pick ten. You just couldn't pick ten,
so you couldn't couldn't narrow down ten. It was like
one of two POC's albums. You just didn't know what
to cut. I get it, so you just picked twenty.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Well, there's nothing really on them all eyes on me
that you needed to cut. That's true. No, don't do that,
because every year I do come in here with ten.
But I feel like rap this year was so good
that I couldn't just do you want to do? So
much came out, and because I did twenty with with rap,
I just was like, all right, it might as well.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
This is not this shit deluxe like Lebron I know
that you don't he go two more for you.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
More ironically, two changes is pretty high on my rap album.
But with that said, where do we want to begin?
Is there anything you guys want to say to wrap
up the year, like what you're thankful for? What you're
looking for? Any twenty twenty six goals? New Year? Knew
me back in the gym. People still say that, Yes,
that's definitely New Year. Could we start keeping track. I'm

(02:18):
going to be a completely different person come January sixth.
I'll change. But what that does have to do with
January sixth? I want to make that clear. That's just
the matter. We're coming back way hold on to marriage.
You said, what I.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Change every year? You don't change every year?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
No, Oh, it might be a problem you think you
change every year. I do.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
I grow. I grow every year. Every year.

Speaker 4 (02:37):
I recognize my growth every year. I don't change my personality.
My personality is my personality. But I definitely grow.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
I mean, I don't become perfect from one year to
the next.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
But yeah, all right, So I do want to run
through because we did the prediction thing on Patreon. There's
something I didn't want to bring up in the regular episode.
Remember when Demeras said at the top of this year,
this is going to be her mysterious year.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Oh my, I did not say that.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
That's you. You know, we could find on my line
she's not saying it's gonna be her mysterious year.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I don't know if you'll notice. I don't listen to them.
I'm saying she's changed. No, fuck, you do not. What
are you talking?

Speaker 1 (03:13):
I said I was gonna be mysterious.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Oh my god, we got mysterious. She told you no,
let's go through her year. Let's talk out the marriage
yet now can we should told us she wasn't drinking.
Then they moved to I'm only drinking on Fridays. Then
they moved to some more. Yeah, it's like yoo nasty
hung over. And it ain't even Friday. It ain't Saturday.
If it was Saturday, then I'm like, you.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Know what, maybe on Friday, it's kind of a Friday.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
I I take breaks, So I'm taking a break again
from I'm doing dry January again, and I'm gonna start
wetting it up in February.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
But it's not gonna be like extreme.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Damaras is one of those people that all of the
workout people hate. O the gym is packed. First, get
out of my way. Alcoholics hate damarriage. Don't get me
dry January. I don't just not drink for January. Don't drink.
If you're gonna not drink for January, what's not what's
not drinking, Margeria?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
What does that do? Well, it's to research yourself so
that you can drink the rest of the I have.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
To prepare myself for March, my birthday in March. I
have to prepare myself, clear out your body.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Well and wild February is gonna get you ready. But
that's like, no, that's it's damn.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
You can't just you gotta can't go hold turkey. You
gotta wan yourself for no.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
But she's going to do a whole binge of heroin
in March. The start y'all coming to y'all coming to
Houston with me this year? If you actually like give
us are you saying that's definitely happening, Like I'll book
my flight and get my you know, affairs in order.
I would do that, Yeah, Houston with baby d for
her birthday. I would definitely me, Alison, are you doing

(04:42):
your actual going birthday? Like? Where does it land? No?

Speaker 4 (04:44):
I won't I'm going i won't be it, he said.
He going like me, Alice, I'm going next. Alan, you
placed on them, you're supposed to be with them.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
The other day our friends was that I was supposed
to be to the other day.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Did you win? Now what you talking about? Can't you
tell me? Let me see sometimes this is what I
don't like in this podcast. I was saying it. That's
true and you'll be ignoring you definitely told me was
supposed to link at some point with you'll you and
your front today today. Okay, got it?

Speaker 2 (05:15):
See there you go, people business mine and other people
drink your songs.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Here it's Rose. I'm sorry Rose.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Oh, he's a he's a Republican.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
He's a Republican. It's Rose. This is man. Nikki showed
me the way. Don't do it? See you want to
know here man?

Speaker 2 (05:33):
No, no, no, no, no no, let's stick to the
top ten and Niki Nikki I start toling my nick
I'm gonna go crazy.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
I'm it's not the time. No. We are gonna end
this a calm way, not like we did last year.
This is why is Rose here? No no shots at
tequila in the morning. We're ending this in a calm music,
musically nerd type of boy.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yeah, but wine wine too much and want to get
you to tequila levels too though it's worse so Pace yourself.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
I mean, where we're going tonight. I'm going home. I'm
promising I'm going home.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
I'm going home, all right with them, I'll go out
with them, all right.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
I'm glad for y'all. Allright, cool all.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
Year, funk out of here, y'all try to press me
about me trying to be mysterious and all that extra shit.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
What about y'all? Y'all said, I don't want to talk
about anything that happened to me this year. I just
want to get to twenty twenty sixty years. I don't
even want to be here right now talking about this,
but we have to be here. Nigga scared, terrified still
probably I just let's let's just leave twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Where Yeah, I'm stepping over them steps for show.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Yeah no, yeah, Wow. Twenty twenty five was great, man.
You had some great, great, great music this year. Great
year for rap.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying, even though statistically they
say it's the worst year. But you know, yeah, I
mean once you go to music, some really good music.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Yeah. Stream said, I don't care what the streams say
this year. Streams. Fuck the streams, man, they took fuck
the streets. And the streams. Fuck the street streams.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Street streams are made of everybody looking for something. Yeah,
streams are made of these with.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Us, everybody he's looking for bot There you go, There
you go. Street streams, y'all. That's a name of the
episode of Yeah Street stream Stream Street Streams. All right,
So I guess that makes sense to start with your
top rap albums of the year. So excited. Nobody has
more taste than I do. Hell, you see my Spotify
wrap up. My age is fifty five. Y'all were so

(07:33):
happy to be fucking old. Oh man, Yes again, I
was the teacher's pet and I did twenty just because
this year and rap I thought was so fucking amazing.
I have no complaints at the end of this year
where hip hop is Yeah, I thank you guys, Thank
you to all the artists that put music out because
mine is lengthy. I believe you did ten, right, I

(07:54):
did ten? Okay, you want to start with your top ten?
And which which camera? Give me the closest camera. Everybody,
I know you don't listen to anything that comes out
of our mouths, which is fine, but I'm saying this
is our personal favorites. Look at me. Again, look at
me again? Let me go to the wide are personal?

(08:16):
Back to this one favorites. Thank you, peach. These are
our personal favorites. If you want to argue about my
personal favorites, have a blast ark at the moon. This
is not the top ten top twenty of the year.
This is what we personally felt personally. Yes, I'll never
argue with you guys about your personal taste. We could

(08:37):
argue about some other shit, right, This is what I
personally liked this year.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Are they in order? From?

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Oh? I have one to twenty in order. And I
just want to be clear that this list does not
include any of the j Electronica projects, only because I
was too close to those, and even though this is
our biased favorite albums, I was too close to those.
I don't have the same view as a listener the
way I do with these albums, So this does not

(09:02):
include Jay elect Let's start with more Top ten Rap
albums of twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
Top ten Rap albums of twenty twenty five, Drake, take
care and I'm just joking. This is in no particular orders,
just just the albums that I like this year. Conway,
you can't kill God with bullets. Mob Deep Infinite, Freddy
Gibbs Alfredo two Jid God does like that wasn'ven God
does likely God is like ugly chance to rap a

(09:27):
star line while a everything is a lot clips.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Let God sort them out.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Those face Supreme Clientele two Jay elect A written testimony leaflets,
Dave the Boy who played Hard, Kodak Black just getting started,
and Nick Grant. I took it personal at the top
ten that was twelve.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
They look at you over achieving like me. I wasn't
in front of the class with me. I wasn't counting.
I was just, you know, just my off the top,
just my favorite stars from the teachers right there with me.
We got some really good rap this year. Man. Yeah,
at least give us an order of my top three,
because I'd like to know what your favorite rap abu.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
Uh top three in order, like number one? Yeah, ship
just name three.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Damn.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
That's tough, man, because it changes like week the week.
It's like last week was my favorite album. This week
Conway is my favorite, like it's.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
I will say with the rankings that I did, like
I have Conway, he could be higher by the end
of the year.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
That's what it just came up. So that's that's what
I've been on since it dropped.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
I tried to look at the whole year. Yeah, so
it's best.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
But this week I'll say wil At Everything is a
lot Conway, you can't kill God with bullets?

Speaker 1 (10:44):
And who was I listening to this week? Supreme Clientel too,
because we just sat with Ghost. Okay, so that's your
top three of the week. I got Man, it's tough, bro.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
I can't because I was a into jid album when
it came out. It was spending that heavy, but I
haven't gone back to it in.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
A few months. That's what I tried to do with
my list of what I was constantly listening to. Yeah,
that didn't just fall to the wayside.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, but the l A, the l A, the clips too,
clips I've listened to, like you know, I make sure
I go back to that at least once a month,
twice a month. Yeah, but la Is He's been consistently
like I've been consistently style. It's a lot of good,
good music on Wallet's album. Man, Like I don't see enough.
I don't see enough. I would like to see more
people Champion and that Everything is a Lot album, and

(11:32):
I don't know why more people aren't talking about it,
but that album is really incredible.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
I mean it's just the times man. All right. Well,
I did rank mine and sorry that it's it's one
through twenty, but you know, again, there was too much music.
I would feel weird just doing the top ten and
not mentioning all the other albums that I thought were incredible.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Yeah, somebody gonna get left out right at that point.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Yeah. I mean even when I got to twenty, there
was a few I had to like kind of put
to the side. Yeah. I even made a category of
favorite EP on my R and B.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
I got some EPs on my top R and B albums.

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Oh I left some off because they were epeas. But
we'll get there, all right. So my number one rap
album of the year was Clips Let God Sort Them Out?
Number two, Chances the Rapper star Line number three, Ley
Everything is a Lot Number four, Larry June two Chains,
Alchemist's Life Is Beautiful five, Mob Deep Infinite number six,
Freddy Gibbs Alfredo two number seven, Mac Miller The Lunarism

(12:24):
number eight, Low Sims Lotus nine, Jid God Does Like
Ugly number ten, Mike Showbiz number eleven Day La Soul,
Cabin in the Sky, Number twelve Nick Grant, I took
it personal. Number thirteen Loyd Banks AO and three Despite
My Mistakes. Number fourteen Dave the Boy who played the Harp,
fifteen Conway you Can't Kill God with Bullets, Number sixteen,

(12:46):
ghost Face Killer, Supreme clientele two, seventeen Saba and no
Id from the private collection of Saba and no Id,
eighteen Reason I Love You Again, nineteen Nas a DJ premiere,
Light Years, and twenty Billy Woods Golly, I can never
pronounce it correctly. I think it's Colliewalk. And then my
favorite EP of this year was Ransom, a DJ premiere

(13:07):
The Reinvention Good Project. So I'm actually I'll probably wake
up in the morning and want to switch some of
these around. But I was. I felt okay with my twenty.
I think it's in the correct of how I feel
of what I listened to constantly throughout this entire year. Yeah,
I would.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
I would have probably did put more, but we said ten.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
So I was trying to yeah what I did. I
was sitting there when I was just going through all
the albums I was going through my there's a lot
my Apple music. I was like, oh, there's a lot,
even like how I Keilly Banks off the ship.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
There's a lot of good albums this year, man, I
will say that, a lot of good music.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Yeah, Jamarius, I know you mentioned you didn't want to
do rap albums. You're boycotting.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
I'm not boy kind of hippy. I hate hip hop, No,
I just I had to be honest with myself when
I sat down to do it in this year and rap.
I didn't take in as much rap as I probably
should have with the job that I have, I didn't
take in as much rap. I was very R and
B focused this year. So I don't want to rate
albums or rank albums when I haven't listened to enough

(14:03):
to even be able to compare them to the other
on So I just don't think that that is fair.
But Leed God sort them out. Is obviously my favorite
a rap album of the year, with Cardi B being
that that was really the only rap I really listened to.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
So I didn't really listen to a lot of rap
this year.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
I mean shit, even like with the bigger L album
I want to put on here and the Cardi one
I didn't want to put on here, but I felt
it would have been disinget Like if I were to
make a top ten rap album list that wasn't my
personal favorite. Yeah, Cardi would have made that list for sure.
I just went off my personal stuff. But Cardi wouldn't
make top twenty five. For my personal I did like it.

(14:38):
I just wasn't in the environments where you hear Cardi
like that this year. But I do think it is
a very solid, solid album. But yeah, I mean I
think it was probably one of the best years for rap.
Maybe not on a global level, but in my worlds,
this year was incredible. Like, I don't want to hear
anyone say hip hop is in a bad place, because

(14:58):
at that point you're just not listening. Yeah whatsoever, This
ship was crazy. So then do you want to pop
off R and B? Since you did? I will.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
I did do R and B, and I did rank them.
I'm pulling it up right now. I really enjoyed R
and B this year, like I really was in my
R and B bag. You know, we won't talk about
maybe why or why not, but whatever. So Number one
for me is Heart Soul Separately by Marita Scientists. That
album is incredible. There's not a skip on it top
to bottom, the writing, the melodies.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
It was the perfect fucking album.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
My number two would be Some Sexy Songs for You Again,
amazing fucking album. Three would be why Not More by
Coco Jones. Four would be Sissa Sos Deluxe. Five will
be Finally Over It by Summer Walker. Six Beloved by
Giving On seven Deluxe, eight, Love on Digital by Destin Conrad,
nine Bloom by Duran Bernard, and ten Come as You

(15:52):
Are Terrace Martin and Kenyon Dixon.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Okay, okay, I liked that last one. That's one of mines.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
These are my R and B top twenty ranked. This
list does not include any Avant Garden projects. I want
to make that clear because I'm this is me as
a fan. I can't name Avant Garden projects because I'm
too close. I don't have a fan perspective of them,
so I left them off. Number one Dijon Baby. I
think that was by far the best R and B

(16:22):
project this year. Number two Maria the Breeze grew a fire.
Number three Duran Bernard Bloom, which I didn't even know
you listened to, Damaris. I would have texted you right away.
We could have talked about that album. That's my number
three favorite album that the whole fucking year. Duran Bonon Yeah,
Duran Jones and the Indications Flowers super underrated project. I

(16:43):
probably listened to that album more than any other album
this entire year. Number five was a big pre production conversation.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
Man.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
I got Justin bieber Swag at five, y'all trying to
say that's a that's a pop album. It charted on
the R and B charts. Okay, I have Justin biebers
Swag at number five, Number six, Draken Party next Door,
Some Sexy Songs for You seven Sizza Sos Deluxe Lana
number eight, o'deal the Summer that Saved Me. Shout out

(17:13):
to LVRN number nine, Kamari to Dry Tier number ten,
Give You On Beloved, number eleven, Taras Martin and Kenyon
Dixon Come as You Are Number twelve, Isaiah Haran con Cubanana.
I can't pronounce the shit, but that that whole project
is fire. I can't pronounce the name the project. I
just see the artwork and cook it right away. Thirteen

(17:35):
Leon Thomas Mutt Deluxe fourteen, Jesse Reyes Paid in Memories
fifteen let us see the Crown super Underrated Project sixteen
Kirby Miss Black America seventeen. I also fucked this name up.
I think it's spelled k w N it's I think
it's the what kwan is it? I know KK one?

(17:58):
I think one it's K one. I always fuck it up,
same way we fucked up six Lack seventeen K one.
With all due respect, that project is fired eighteen Coco
Jones Why Not More? Nineteen Nao Jupiter, and twenty Summer
Walker Finally over It. My favorite EP of the year
was Alex Osley Win Okay love it. These lists make

(18:21):
me look at I actually thought it was kind of
a dull year for R and B until I put
this list together. There was a lot. There was a
lot of a lot of great R and B. And
I count the deluxes because because Lana and the Mutt
heel shit, those are new albums.

Speaker 3 (18:37):
Yeah, different albums.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Maul, Where you at with R and B? All Right?

Speaker 2 (18:42):
R and B twenty twenty five, Uh again, no particular order.
Drake Partners doing some sexy songs for you Sash people,
act right, Bryce until the Solace and Devices Nail Me
Sharing the Only Love We know that's a EP, but
let's say it was one of my favorite Armby albums
of the year. A Sailor from Florida's Fine That was
gonna be el Mean, el Mean Heat The Streets destined

(19:04):
Conrad Love on digital. That project was Crazy Summer Walker,
Finally Over at Terrace, Martin, Kenya Dixon, Come as You Are,
and Coco Jones Why not More?

Speaker 4 (19:14):
You know Mariah and not making Nigga's list, It got
me ready to shake.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
You just I'm new to Mariah. You just put me on.
So I just been you know, and.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
I know I like the project a lot, and that
first week it came out, I did listen to it.
I just I don't know. I never got back in
the mode. It speaks more to me, not to her,
Like I just never went back to it. Not because
it wasn't good. I just for some reason, it's you,
is not Mariah, It's you. That's what Doug.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
She got left off a lot of year end lists
two and I don't.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
I don't, I don't. I just I don't know. I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
Maybe we all value different things in music. Because I
value like I told you guys, I value lyrics more
than anything, and her lyrics is number one for me.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Great year for music through all around, though, what what
would be your top three? Because you said no order,
We're gonna do the same thing with the R and
B album.

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Well, number one, some sexy songs for you. I think
it's the best R B album this year. Number two,
Uh that nail me Sharon the only love we know EP.
Love that and then uh probably that destined Conrad loved
one Digital.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
I have to live with that one. I'm gonna go
I'm definitely gonna go back to that for sure. Mario
put out a good EP this year. Melanie, Uh, what's
what's your last name? Melanie? Fiona Fiona. She put out
a great EP. Two, there there was cool EPs. All right,
let's get to a rap song of the year. More

(20:42):
we already know Nokia number one, greatest song that's ever existed.
It goes Thriller one, a Nokia one B favorite rap song.
That rap song. Oh that's such a tough one favorite,
but it's not an R and B song, it's pop. Honestly, Yo,
we didn't bring up that Chappelle joke of saying that

(21:03):
he quietly has been helping all the homeless people. And
he said, not the way y'all think y'all about to
get it. I just do the thriller dance. That was hilarious.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
I didn't he was like, y'all in for a treat, y'all.
I wasn't really helping them. I just talked him the thriller.
They didn't two million dollars to teach a bunch of
homeless people.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
What brandomly even made you think about.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
That of just saying most thriller? Yo, So this is a
song of the year, You're no your favorite rap song
of the year? Oh, my favorite rap song of the year? Yeah,
because I mean and no KEYD to me, I'm a demeris.
That's a pop songs. It's not R and B or rap,
but I do think it leans more rap than it
does R and B.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Yeah, damn, that's tough. What was my favorite rap song.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
Of You was singing that ship every day when you
came in here, Fiko, that was my favorite song of
the year. You said, I was singing what every day?
Because you might be right. I'm know I'm thinking of
R and B. I'm sorry, Yeah, oh, R and B. Yeah,
I know what you're your rb on is gonna be
I don't know my r V.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
What's my favorite raps? I can't think of my favorite
rap song of the year, Like I don't. I can't
think of a rap song that I kept rapping, like
I kept saying.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Mine would have to be Mike Tyson Blow to the Face.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
Mike Tyson blowed to the Face bad. That's clips right,
mm hmm, Okay.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
That's my favorite.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
It's also my versity year two, which makes sense, but
my favorite versity the year.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
So you know what was one of my favorite rap
songs of the year, The one on Jay's album and.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
It got taken off. Oh who killed Michael Jackson? That
was my ship with Quinn. That was my ship. That
was one of the best rap songs. That was my
ship right there. Shout out to Jay for uh putting
on his Instagram that we transfer filet. That was my
that was my ship. That was I might really I
might throw that shit on my my I send me that.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
I might need I need that, Yeah, I need that.
That That might be one of my favorites.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
U our Patreon and on our discord. I put that
that record in our discord. Yeah because that Yeah, that
was my ship. That was my ship. Yeah, that was
one song I was rapping like, that was my ship.
I was there for that session and when they had
brought that beat up and started was like, oh, this
might be one of the best j Lex songs I've
ever heard. Yeah, that was my ship. They was in

(23:28):
a different mode.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
And the other one that got taken over Japan Airlines,
that was my ship.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
There's another version of that on the Godfather Harlem soundtrack Okay, okay,
which is called Leaflets ironically Godfather, but it's it's that
was the original demo that we put on Leaflets instead
of the Godfather Harlem Ship.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
But yeah, yeah, that might be killed Michael Jackson might
be my my favorite wraps.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
On Japan ship we did. We did that in uh
in Mexico. That that was earlier. That was around the
time he was down in Mexico, Okay, at that joint. Yeah. Well,
as I said before, like I didn't include any j
Elex stuff in my list because it's even though it's
our favorite and it's biased. No matter what, I don't
have the same lens inside. It's not even inside of trading.
It's just I'm too close to that it was there

(24:13):
for the creation of the entire thing. But blood libelt
like probably blood Libel is probably my favorite. Okay, another
good one song of the year. But if I'm taking
Jay elect out of everything and I'm just telling on
myself or just where I'm at my life, that Chance
the rapper vic mensa back to the Go. I don't

(24:33):
know if you've been back to those lyrics. No, that's
my favorite rap song of the entire year. Back to
the Go, Back to the Go. Okay, I gotta go
listen to that again. Yeah, I mean essentially it's after
Chances divorced, he goes back to his mom's crib to
just regroup, and that hook is the melody on that

(24:54):
is incredible. It's some of the best rapping chances it's
ever done. That Back to the Go record, as somebody
in they ma thirties, that might be one of my
favorite records of the last ten years. Like Chance went
nuts on that. That's a big reason why I even
have star line so high and where it's at outside
of all the other great records. But that's I even
texted Chance when he sent me, like the early version

(25:16):
everything I said, Yo, that Back to the Gold record
might be one of the best records I've heard in
quite sometime.

Speaker 2 (25:21):
Chance album is dope. That intro is nuts. Chance Albums Dope.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
I mean we can we'll get to Verse of the Year,
but I want to bring up that again once we
get there. R and B song with year folded obviously again,
if we were doing yeah, if we were doing a
list that wasn't just our personal stuff. It goes with
that question. Yeah, Folded is the best R and B song.

Speaker 4 (25:46):
It's still my even personally, Like it's just you personally too.

Speaker 1 (25:49):
It's right now.

Speaker 4 (25:49):
I was just singing it like five seconds. That's all
I do is sing that song all day, every day,
like it's.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
One of them. It's one of those records that's gonna
go over there with cranes in the sky like it's
just uh Miguel doing It's one of those. Yeah, it's
just one of those records. Yeah, it's gonna live forever. Yes,
I have Leon Thomas. Not fair.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
That was gonna be my sleek pick. If I had
to pick something different other than Folded, it would be
not fair. It's fucking it's a perfect song.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
It's so good.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
It's a perfect song.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
It it's one of those shit like you cannot get
that out of your head for months. Yeah, like you
just walk around with the not fair hook in your head.
So you said folded, not fair.

Speaker 4 (26:30):
Thank for You by Coco Jones is a sleeper. I
just want to put that out, this R and B
song to you, thank for You?

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Mm hmm, ain't that ed?

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Uh, somebody loves me?

Speaker 1 (26:43):
I've that's we knew what your answer was gonna be.
That's why I'm saying I said, you walk in singing
it every every day.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
I mean, if we're picking it, that folded to me definitely.
But if you're gonna say folded, you said Leon Thomas.

Speaker 1 (26:55):
Yeah, here's the thing. If we were doing an actual
real list that wasn't our personal favorites, it would go folding.
Then probably somebody looked like somebody loves me. Yeah, it
is right there for number two. I think of this
year as far as R and B songs go, not fair,
it's just my ship. I wouldn't put not fair above that.
If we were making a list like the way B
Dot does.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
Yeah, I got you because that, Yeah, that was all
three great songs.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
Though that folded doesn't come out, that could be the
best army song.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Of the year, like Folded might be the best R
and B album.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
That ass.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Folded, Packed, like Folded Again, Folded Twice.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Chopped and Screwed, Folded and I want to Kill I
do want to give a shout out to out the
Window by Kaylani, which is also like such an amazing song.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
But it's just like Folded is so big.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
That she like if she would have released out the
Window without Folded being there, Like out the Window is
out of here, but nigga, we still folding closed, Like yeah,
it's rough, but out the Window is really good. The
video was really good. She took it back classic R
and B. So I don't know, I appreciate it R
and B this year, Yo.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
Are you capable of doing Verse of the Year? You
can do R and B though versus the year I
went rap, But I don't think should be excluded from
Verse of the Year.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
I went Yeah, I went to Okay, what'd you go with?
Pushes verse Mike close to the face. That's my favorite verse.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
I'm not mad at that's how you come in.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
No confessions come on now and then the beat drop.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
All right, that's the like, that's the problem with that
Cliffs album. Trying to pick one verse of the year,
there's like three on there. It's crazy Malice with Fico
is nuts malice, and then even if you get into
the weeds of it, the Malice versus the Malice POV

(28:49):
verse when the beat switches up is easy. I was
debating between POV Malice and NAS's verse on Big l
You Ain't Got a Chance. To me, that was like
kind of the craziest verse of the entire year. But
then if it sounds nuts, if you go to Chances
star line intro, first verse and second verse, those could

(29:11):
both be up there. His intro that when he just
rapping throughout the whole shit, you could throw chance there too. Yeah,
but I still think you ain't Got a Chance. No,
It's like, if we were allowed to play that, I
think I could convince y'all that that's the best verse
of the year.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
Nah, that malice. That malice verse on Fight Goh is crazy.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
Like he was talking crazy on that whole verse, like
that from start to start to end of his verse,
Like the way he painted that that he was talking
crazy that whole Like that verse was so impressive to
me that when I first heard it, I was like yo,
And to think that he took Tom off a rap
like he just was like.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
Chilling for years and was like yo, I'm cool to
be able to come back and do that.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
Very impressive. But even then, shit, what was it twenty
When was the last push out? Twenty twenty two? I
think Malice had the best verse in twenty twenty two.
I pray for you the outro on Push a solo project. Yeah, no, Malice,
I think we talked about that when they came back.
This may have had the best verse that year. Like

(30:17):
that was nuts, Maul. I know all you want for
Christmas and for New Years for that matter, is the
all new iPhone seventeen. You've been talking about it for
the entire year.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
It's happening now Christmas time.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Is that because it's designed to be the most powerful
iPhone ever?

Speaker 2 (30:34):
No, that's because I don't have to worry about traffic.
They'll come to my house.

called one one hundred gambler. Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
But yeah, there was a lot of great verses. I'm
still landing on Nas and the Big Evil Joint. But
that does get us the lyricists of the year, And
again I think it's between Nas and Mouse. I mean
it's Nos, but Malice. I don't know man Mouse one
fucking no. He had a great year.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
That album was really good. He's really rapping his ass off.
But to me, the lyricists of the Year would have
to be Nash.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
I don't think you can.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
Yeah, I don't think it's much argument. It's not much
argument there. I mean Mariah Sciences what she did this year,
baby d.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
You know what I'm going with.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
H Lyricus was crazy this year. We're not slight and
we were not slight Mariah at all. We support Mariah Scientists.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
All right, I have a hot take here, even though
I have NAS. All right, let's put it rap lyricists
of the Year. I think it's Nas mm hmm, R
and B. You can go Leon. It's between Leon and Scissor.
Scissor was rapping all over that Deluxe, Like if you
get into the lyrics of the Lana s Os Deluxe.

(33:14):
She was talking to that she might she might compete
with with NAS as far as outputting lyrics.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
Nah, we're gonna do R if we do R and
B lyrics. Nuts lyrics is Drake and party bro Them
niggas was talking crazy that whole lyrics.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
I'm R lyrics.

Speaker 3 (33:31):
The city is pretty when it's dead, it's like a flower.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
No party And now you give me that Drake verse
on when he's gone, oh please, Like that's the R
and B lyrics in the year.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
You're not wrong or you're crazy.

Speaker 4 (33:45):
They have okay, so yes, but they have a leg
up because they're also rappers.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
So I feel like, don't do that. Don't make niggas
prisoners of the old time. Don't do that. I don't
think that's that's not that's not it was an R
and B album. It's not fair. Yeah, it was his lyrics.
Party is not a rap.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
The Party is an R and B if he wanted
to be, if he wanted to be, Drake just happens
to be. You know, he does a little bit of everything.
You dance, pop, rap, R and B. What they did
that album top the the Chanelle record. Come on, man,
like what we talked if we're talking about R and
B lyrics, not singing, not singing R and B lyrics.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
All right, but even like when you get into the
I don't know how much you went back to the
Lana Deluxe, but if you even get from thirty to
thirty bmf Scorsese's Baby Daddy Ship Another Life. Yeah, she
was talking to Baby said Crab, you know cray Baby
my favorite, said she went her pen. This is a

(34:46):
hot take. Her pen might be better on her pen.
I'm not saying the music. Her pen is probably better
on Lana than it was on s OS.

Speaker 3 (34:53):
You're okay, I think you need to go back and
re listen to the classic.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
I feel like Crababy, what song is that she rated?

Speaker 4 (35:00):
Because all when when she was like, I'm so sick,
Ye're so sick of me too, call me miss crush Baby.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
No, she went crazy. I just wanted. I just wanted
to hear baby get off. That's what like granted is
kill Bill obviously Snooze all that. I think Snooz is
one of the greatest R and B intro.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
She comes in on the intro rapids, the.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
Champagne Poppy sample, she went she about outboard one. Nah,
that's not fair, but she barred up on the s
O s intro. Sheing crazy. I just feel like shit,
even Drive Drive is crazy. Lyrically, that line of ship
that pen Is Sucking Nuts says goes wild. Has she

(35:42):
was doing like jam sessions? You have? Has that entered
y'all algorithms. They look like they're in like some loft
in downtown l A. And it's just some jam sessions.
Let's scroll past it and just quickly watched the video.
But I think she's been doing jam sessions in LA
like just freestyling, like you know, give me a Mike
and I'll just start trying shit. And she had a
whole live band there. Sorry if this was already somebody's

(36:05):
platform and scays it just happened to show up.

Speaker 4 (36:07):
But oh I saw that, yeah, says it performs live
at pop up jam session in LA with Lizzo.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
That's fired me. I think art because I know obviously
artists do that at studio sessions. I think that's cool.
If they do that more to the public, like even
on live streams, like who cares, we just creating. I'll
mumble through and just find a melody. Like I think
nerdy fans like me would appreciate to watch that that
type of process. Let's do a jam session and I

(36:36):
may not even say real words, but I'm a fund
of melody and we just gonna rock out. Oh it was.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
It was a meditation night too, meditation and.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
That's flat to me. That's that's the cool.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
Meditation yoga and like pop up jam session.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Yeah, that's see, that's cool. All right. Look, Scissor could
turn into the female Chappelle with that type of thing.
You know, Chappelle bought that barn and just got Prince's
band to just do jams sessions every night and people
fly into West Bubblefuck, Ohio and just hang out like
that's the cool ship in the world of me.

Speaker 4 (37:07):
Yeah, that's that's way nice, nice and barefoot cool ship
for you. That is very much your vibe.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
Hell yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
So whatever you guys going to do for Producer of
the Year.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
Well, where do we land on? Lyrics? Lyrics, noads, nods
with rap? I'm saying with R and B, we have Sissy,
we have Leon. I'm going it's draking party a package deal.

Speaker 2 (37:29):
I mean that album that's just the R and B
that I'm referring to.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
Give you on give you on my top list for.

Speaker 1 (37:36):
I know, but he was talking on that. I was
about to bring.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
Up backup playing. Y'all already know.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
The way you yell something sissing baby, I can't tell that,
Nigga said, and I've been treating you.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
Well, you must got a backup playing.

Speaker 1 (37:51):
He would have got.

Speaker 2 (37:52):
He would have got RMB lyrics if he says something's
different in the way you smell, because you know that
would have you should have been at the jams and
that would have really been like, okay, he pulling for
real life ship.

Speaker 1 (38:02):
He really went through anytime Yon calls during the holidays.
I just so, I just think I'm broke. I'm so scared. Actually,
I mean summer. This wasn't my favorite lyrical album of hers,
so it wasn't enough for me. Yeah, she could be
in that that next year. It wasn't complexity the lyrics. No,
I love it.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
I love the album, but it's the lyrics weren't.

Speaker 1 (38:24):
I felt like the whole approach wasn't even try to do.

Speaker 2 (38:26):
I can't even open my phone with our hands. Smell
good tastes great. God, all of y'all them smell good.
It tastes great. Goddamn it. We got to stop this
Lars fried chocolate shake. Yeah, like, we gotta stop this
ship like only y'all do not smell good. It tastes great, Like,
come on, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (38:43):
I can't relate my sleeper lyricists of the year Jesse, Rayes,
R and B if we talk about bars. Oh she's
really good, she said, just told my therapist. We called
it quiz. Gotta be honest. That bitch is legit. She
held a tongue for a bit, then she kept it real,
said Jesse, that boy, it wasn't ship it's just your
pattern that's making you trip. Just because he pulled back

(39:04):
is making you grip. And if I'm honest, he wasn't
the smartest or intellectually matched for the kid. After that,
she apologized and said, don't sweat it's cool. I it's
not like it's news. I was just snoozing on ship.
She went fucking nuts on this first.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
Yeah, but the way you read that was trash. I
do you know, I don't think I'm gonna go play
that song. We can't play shit, that's why. But this
this goes back to why you need the music. See
how Rory just read that. I don't want to go
listen to that the way he read it, because I can't.
I didn't think that was so profound and prolific. I
don't think Jesse was giving us enting just right there.
But now if I listen to him, might be like, oh,

(39:37):
that's the same shit you just read Roy, Like, okay,
she killed that, yo, Mal is an asshole?

Speaker 1 (39:43):
Right, No, Mall is right? Like what's the cadence? Like,
I don't even know the cadence? Like because I didn't
want to try to disrespect her cadence. So how crazy
she went on that odor.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
Now, Rory just think everybody is going, you know, like
the Liris's Hall. Whenever they say they sat down with
the therapist, you know that's Rory shit right there. Whenever
you say that, He's like, oh no they in they
bag in a therapist.

Speaker 1 (40:03):
Bags leg she how it comfort people that give no?

Speaker 2 (40:09):
Actually, yeah, when you delivered that, no, that wasn't.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
It wasn't because I thought I could deliver it so
well that it would get flat. It was really Jesse,
So I tried to just read the lyrics.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
Yeah, sounding it's sounded a lot better than the way
you delivered.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
It, Jesse. I apologize whole joint pitch. How great begging
for you? But I think if you go through pay
memories that she getting bars off on that, that she
could be a rap album. He's up there with Lyricists
of the Year, R and B side for me for
sure producer of the year. If you just go off
my rap album list, the top ten, it's mostly Alchemists, Yeah,

(40:51):
like I have I have Larry June to Chains, Alchemists,
mob D, Infinite, Freddy gives out Freido two. That's all
in my top ten, Like it's all out and shout
out to Havoc as well with the Infinite stuff, but
I mean it has to be out yeah. For me,
Alchemist is probably producer of the Year, but I mean

(41:13):
I was very happy with what Havoc did on that
as well. R and B wise, it was an interesting year.
I don't know if there was like one standout. There
was a lot of standout writers and m KG and
like those guys that wrote the Swag album and then
obviously the Baby album. There was like Writers of the Year.

(41:34):
To me, Dixon obviously one of the writers of the Year,
Aunt Clemmens. There was those R and B Producer of
the Year. I'm kind of stuck on that one, but
that's not the same way Rapids, where it's kind of
just here's one.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
Yeah, I don't know who my R and B Producer
the Year would be, Yeah, but I have.

Speaker 1 (41:53):
Out there as far as producer of the year, Damaris for.

Speaker 4 (41:59):
Yeah, I can't I agree with everything that you said.
I can't just pick one. No, for real, I can't
just pick one.

Speaker 3 (42:05):
I can't.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
God, I never was good at that anyway.

Speaker 4 (42:08):
When it comes to like producers and shiit, some people
sound out recognized, but usually I'll have to go look
it up, like who did this? I'm not good at
recognizing good producer signature sounds. But James fount Larroy is
on not fair, So you can't escape him for nothing,
Like even when you're not like trying for him to
be your favorite, it's just natural.

Speaker 2 (42:25):
Even when James don't produce a record, he might be
producer of the year.

Speaker 1 (42:29):
But even if you don't put nothing out. Yeah, his
name is in the hat.

Speaker 2 (42:32):
Like yeah, still James Faller, like he hasn't been active
in seven years, sir, Still one of the best.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
I mean he's the go Yeah right, you guys know
that's like my man crushed Monday. Yeah, yeah, I get it. Okay,
I went like this when I saw him. You don't
know what to do with your hands when you meet people.
Did you tell him you he changed your life?

Speaker 2 (42:52):
Uh No, he didn't even tell his father he changed
his life.

Speaker 1 (42:55):
He told nas. How you tell nas he changed your life?
But not your dad? He gave me life, well sort of,
he fucked my mom. We then gave me life. No,
of course. I My father's a good dude man. I
love my dad. My dad. He's gonna be in my

(43:16):
house tomorrow morning. I can't wait to see my guy.
That's what I already got. The weed set up already
in his drawer in his room, my god, which used
to be Demaris's room. Now my dad's took over school
and it smell like weeding there. Now I've been putting
that in baggies everything. How do you keep weed from smelling.

Speaker 2 (43:31):
Up with ours? Mason Jars, That's what I gotta do,
Mason Jars.

Speaker 1 (43:34):
My dad would take the old when told used to
be like coins and ship and he used to take
that and put all the weed in there. That was
his go to. Oh my god, Mason Jars. No, it
was those little plastic things used to have, like tokens
in Okay, Okay, yeah, he was in the bron You
guys don't have tokens.

Speaker 2 (43:53):
Know exactly what you're talking about, Mason Jars.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
Okay, that's good to know.

Speaker 4 (43:57):
Interview the year I know what mine is, young thug,
So you go to Joel for the rest of your life?

Speaker 1 (44:04):
Whooped? That was an incredible interview.

Speaker 3 (44:10):
The interview is perfect, bro, The interview is perfect.

Speaker 1 (44:13):
No Dame dash on breakfast club though, that's what I
happens man. Oh yeah, I'm not gay.

Speaker 2 (44:18):
You are, yo, man telling you he's not gay, and
you're just like you are, like, shut up, this is
on radio.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
You are. It's crazy, like, yo, shut up. You don't
even know you get like the fact Charlemage would ask
a legit question about like how assets work. He said,
you wouldn't understand because you're gay. Charlote said, what does
it have to do when.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
I just yo, Dame on the Breakfast Club is definitely
interviewed a year without a doubt.

Speaker 1 (44:57):
That's the interview of the year. Be like, all right,
well tell me more about the family office. But you're
a bold girl.

Speaker 3 (45:05):
I never watched that full interview.

Speaker 1 (45:07):
He said that you're yes, you never watched that full interview. No,
you're tripping. You gotta shout out to the Breakfast Club.
That's everybody. That was the funniest interview. That is how
the fun They even topped the first or I'm sorry, yeah,
the first Dame Dash interview that they've had three. How
you topped the first one? I don't know how you

(45:27):
guys did that? Like salute to the Breakfast Club. Yo, Charlotmage,
you have the patience.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
I'm not gay, you are, yo. That was so I
could not believe that was a radio interview.

Speaker 3 (45:44):
What will be you guys a second?

Speaker 1 (45:47):
That Doug shit is Doug shit for sure? Yeah, Dog
is up there.

Speaker 3 (45:50):
Other than that, so let's say top three.

Speaker 1 (45:54):
I feel like ray J got one. No, ray J
just had wild live streams.

Speaker 2 (46:01):
Well lastream that's in it considered interviews, right, No, No.

Speaker 1 (46:04):
He just say he just on streams saying wow shit.
Nobody was interviewing, he was talking, he was playing h No,
just saying crazy shit And who had the who that
was this year? He said, I'll be all talk and Drake.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
That was a good one though. That was a good interview.
That was a good episode.

Speaker 4 (46:23):
So what was you guys' favorite interview that we've done
this year? You had some good ones this year.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
I think uh. I think as far as our pod goes,
twenty twenty five may have been my favorite interview year
out thin. I mean, obviously, the ghost Face one that
we just did was incredible. The Dayla one was so
much fun. I wish this is the only pushback I'm
giving our listeners. Sometimes I wish I would would watch interviews,

(46:53):
even if it's people you don't typically listen to, because
that daylight conversation I don't care if you're a rap
NERD or not. Is just like one of the coolest
fucking interviews ever, Like, if you're just interested in learning shit,
that Daylight interview was incredible.

Speaker 2 (47:07):
That Daylight was one of them. The D Nice episode D.

Speaker 1 (47:10):
Nice one was great. That was great, and that was
the conversation. It's funny, like a lot of the interviews
that probably got our lower views were some of my favorite,
which sounds nuts.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
Like by personal personal conversations is personal, you know.

Speaker 1 (47:25):
Yeah, And I'm not expecting everyone to If you just
like to hear us banter, I love and appreciate that.
And if you just want to be like I don't
like I funk with D Nice, but I don't really
care to listen to interview. I get that perspective. But
if you the stories D Nice had, like, it's incredible.
It was nuts. Ship the eight eighty five South was

(47:48):
was was really good. Eighty five South and Miss Pat
I think were those interviews though, like Daylight and ghost Face,
I felt like was an interview we were chopping it up.

Speaker 2 (47:57):
With eighty five South eighty five so oh, miss Miss Pat,
Miss mcdoffrey Godfrey.

Speaker 4 (48:03):
Was Oh Godfrey might have been your bests is crazy.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
Wal made the best call ever. Godfrey was supposed to
do that ship over Zoom and Mam was like, don't
he live in the city And we just waited an
hour and a half and Godfrey.

Speaker 2 (48:15):
Just like he just got in the car and drove
assume and he lives right up the block, Like what
the fuck are we doing here?

Speaker 1 (48:20):
That that was such a good call, that Godfrey interview.
Speaking of Zoom. Though Donovan McNabb was this year, right,
I wish if that was in person, that interview would
have went fucking nuts. That was such a good interview
with Donovan McNabb. I really liked that one, The Chance one.
I mean that outside of like wild Ship, just a

(48:40):
straight up interview. I think that was one of the
better interviews in the entire space this year. Which Chance
the Rapper? Oh yeah, I'm not looking for Sealatius mod
just a straight up great conversation and interview. I think
that Chance one could rival any real sit down.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
Saying that conversation was dope to though Bryson.

Speaker 4 (49:03):
Yeah, he was very vulnerable. Yeah, oh I'm sick I
missed that. I'll never forgive myself.

Speaker 1 (49:08):
Then you have something to do. Why didn't Why couldn't.

Speaker 3 (49:10):
You Briston, I was in the hospital.

Speaker 1 (49:12):
Oh yeah, yeah, that's when she went on vacation.

Speaker 3 (49:14):
I went on vacation.

Speaker 1 (49:15):
Hit that back. She fell in the pool. I went.
That was my favorite twenty twenty five moments. We had
the window Maris fell in the pack about the pool.
You know, she fell in the pool. All bad.

Speaker 2 (49:28):
On vacation, you'll be trying ship, you know, like, yeah,
in the pool, you fall. Now you want to sit
on top of that?

Speaker 1 (49:34):
Yo? Is you cool? I can't. We're taking I was
trying to switch this up. You're making waited.

Speaker 2 (49:44):
Well, midnight all of the things that never happened, Come midnight,
y'all hold us.

Speaker 1 (49:54):
For the year. Who me, I'm bringing in the whole ship?
That was not a hoe this year at all?

Speaker 4 (50:00):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (50:00):
No, not even a tiny bit. It's probably the least. Yeah,
I wasn't. Definitely I wasn't. I wasn't the whole this
ship for me.

Speaker 3 (50:05):
I wasn't either. I should have been.

Speaker 1 (50:07):
That's a relationship. It doesn't. It doesn't make you a hole.
But I mean, look at the marriage. She got kicked
out of Ice By Show after she worked on State.

Speaker 4 (50:13):
That was this ship. That was that was a couple
of years ago. Actually year and a half.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
It wasn't a couple of years.

Speaker 3 (50:20):
It was a year and a half ago.

Speaker 1 (50:21):
It was last year. Man. Yeah, it was like August
of last year. So that's not a half. It's a
year though.

Speaker 4 (50:28):
Okay, August is exactly six months ago. It was exactly
a year and a half ago.

Speaker 1 (50:36):
August is six months ago. Yeah, oh four. Sorry, that's that.

Speaker 2 (50:41):
That's that Syracuse Education Department, the Syracuse Department of Education,
No child left behind.

Speaker 1 (50:48):
Is there any other interviews that that that we missed
this year that that we thought were great. I mean,
I don't consider the mispat ship interview. That was just
more intervention from my life life. Yeah, but no, we
had a lot of a lot of great conversations this year,
a lot of a lot of conversations I didn't really
care for. Yeah, but we don't need we don't need
to like go down that DJ had him.

Speaker 3 (51:10):
All thing was this year.

Speaker 1 (51:11):
That was this year. That was this year. Oh yeah,
because it was a year anniversary. Holy it was May.

Speaker 3 (51:16):
It was top of May, in the end of April,
top of May.

Speaker 1 (51:19):
Yeah, God, gosh, this is what you need to create
a timeline of all of our interviews. I would have
guessed that was last year, but I forgot it was.
It was a year from the beef, which was twenty
twenty four. Was that an interview though, or was that
it was a debate? It was a funeral. Yeah, it

(51:40):
was a funeral. It's great. You know what, let me
be an objective since Demaris and I were the moderatorsuary,
both y'all said a bunch of nothing. Yeah, how both
y'all said a whole it was an amazing episode, But
both y'all said a whole bunch of nothing. Everyone said,
I know the real because I speak to Drake, I
speak to Kendrick, and nobody said a fucking thing.

Speaker 2 (51:58):
Yeah, but that's because I'm not cloud chasing and looking
to say something.

Speaker 1 (52:01):
I don't think he was cloud chasing. I didn't say
he wasn't. Yeah, I'm just saying I would never say nothing.

Speaker 2 (52:05):
I had in the personal conversation on Mike and had
said the same thing. Yeah, so yeah, we don't have
to say. Drake told me it was very.

Speaker 1 (52:13):
But I kind of understand the like mediators at political
debates now when they asked, like, all right, Trump how
are you going to defeat Isis. He's like, well, I
can't tell you that. Yeah, I can't tell you the
plan because I tell you, then why are we here?

Speaker 2 (52:28):
I listen, Yeah, I'm gonna tell you the plan, and
ices is listening like what we know they'll because they'll
be coming to invade the country March eighth, like the
fun I am, I supposed to tell you give me
the blueprint as.

Speaker 4 (52:38):
A fu Yo, as a like dedicated arguing ass bitch
when like you would say something and it was something
that had could have said, I'm just sitting there like
and there was the same thing with him when he
would say something and it was something you could have said.
It was hard as fuck being a moderator. I'm over
here with tapping Rory, like no.

Speaker 1 (52:54):
We're still you know the shelving that we have over
here where we keep like momentum like shit that that's
monumental to our pod from sketches like certain props. I
still have the script that I printed out of all
the things I was writing on the back of the
page to you that I wanted Maul to yell like
Tim works at Amazon and grew up with Kendrick Yo yo.

(53:16):
But we couldn't have a bias. We had the head
of Amazon Music. We had to be neutral. But it
was it was I was sitting there just writing shit
to you of just things I wanted to scream at
the top of my lung. That was really funny. Shout
out to DJ Head. We had a good song with that.
That was entire time.

Speaker 4 (53:33):
So okay, I understand your favorite interview who was your
favorite guest, because I think that that's different. You did
have an amazing interview with somebody, But like, my favorite
guest was Lola.

Speaker 3 (53:42):
Lola and Joy, those are my favorite.

Speaker 1 (53:44):
Joy was great. Joy was really good. Joy Taylor Taylor, Yes,
Joey Taylor. Joy was great. I learned a lot as
someone that like sort of hung out with Joy a
little bit before that. I learned more about Joy in
that interview than when we would be out at dinner
saying things we'd never say on Mike, Like all right, Joey.

Speaker 2 (54:03):
Yo, yeah, Joyce, what Joye said?

Speaker 1 (54:05):
She be tricking? Yeah? I was like peanut butter skin.
I ain't know you'd be out here tricking now. I
was sitting there like peanut butter brown all the way. Well,
like me and Simba paid all the dinner bills in
New Orleans. Yeah, I guess this still lands on the
interview side. But one of the biggest, like personal accomplishments

(54:30):
was having Day twenty six come up here at the
height of all the puff shit that was going on
and any anywhere else they sat down. I'm not knocking
any interview that asked them about Puffy or anything like that.
We created an amazing piece with Day twenty six that
was not based off bullshit whatsoever. Yeah, it was based
off music, who they were as people. It was a

(54:51):
great interview, great performance. All the comments were positive. Yeah,
like to me, that shit is Chapelle said it in
his his special. He said, MLK and Tucker car not
Tucker Carlson. I'm sorry, Charlie Kirk could never be the
same because Charlie Kirk grew up in an era where
the only way for you to get any type of

(55:13):
retention is being negative. Not even knocking Charlie Kirk there,
but it's the Internet era. You can't get a reaction
on anyone unless you're negative. You can't be positive and
get a reaction. I felt like with Day twenty six
and the height of the puff shit. We got positive
reactions in views off doing something good. Yeah, hard, that.

Speaker 4 (55:33):
Is clap it up for yourself, proud of y'all, stand
above the fray.

Speaker 1 (55:37):
And I don't know that was a personal accomplishment. Did
it get a million views? No? But I read all
those comments and we actually got some traction and I
was like, this is positive. Wait, people, It gave me
hope for humanity that people still want still want something positive. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (55:54):
Yeah, So that was a good episode.

Speaker 1 (55:58):
That was great.

Speaker 4 (55:58):
Man.

Speaker 1 (55:59):
They were all super cool. Yeah, they were great guys. Yes,
this was There was a lot of people in the studio. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (56:04):
Man, did we shoot that that movie? We had our
first world champion Jade Cargill. Yeah, women's WWE champion. You
know what I'm saying, find.

Speaker 1 (56:14):
It in Unicorn here me and we got to go
got to go right to Summer Slam. That was fun.

Speaker 4 (56:20):
Stuff like that this year just for like our brand
period we got we gotta go outside, guys.

Speaker 2 (56:25):
Baby, if you want to really take this brand to nex,
just let me body slam you here in the studio.
We didn't gotta go to Summer Slam, baby, I promise
you if I body slam you on this table right here,
and this ship break out of.

Speaker 1 (56:35):
Here, out of everything we just named. That'd be my
favorite moment of twenty twenty five. If you just body
slammer over there right.

Speaker 3 (56:41):
Now, Can I fight back? Or do I just lay
there helplessly?

Speaker 1 (56:43):
That's what it's not real. It's wrestling body slam. You
have to like get into the motion. Yeah, get bodies.

Speaker 2 (56:48):
It's like poetry, like I know what you're about to do.
You know what I'm about to ye and yang jada
and styles, it's the same thing.

Speaker 1 (56:54):
It's the rhythm. Where's the beanbag? You body slamming the
bean bag? Okay? Nah, we gotta do it to a table.

Speaker 2 (57:01):
We gotta get We gotta get one of them cheap
picnic tables, baby d We have no we have one here.

Speaker 1 (57:07):
Nah.

Speaker 2 (57:07):
That's a little that got some that got some some
legs to it. We need the cheap, cheap ones because
I don't want to slam baby too hard, Like I
just want to kind of just drop on top of
the table and that ship breaks. Once the table break,
it's like your mall tripping.

Speaker 4 (57:19):
We want to beat the allegations this year, mall, because
we did not beat them last year. But allegations, the allegations,
the me and you allegations. We had multiple moments viral.

Speaker 2 (57:28):
Man, they gonna keep pumping that no matter what baby
did that ain't we can't.

Speaker 4 (57:31):
I'm just saying, if you slam me, it doesn't like
really help like we're not helping you.

Speaker 2 (57:34):
They're gonna call that lover's quarrel. Them niggas is you know,
they don't just go somewhere and get mad like that's
all they gonna say.

Speaker 1 (57:39):
Love is complicated.

Speaker 4 (57:41):
They'd be like, you know how when you want to
when you be like I'm gonna fight you when I
see you like that, that's type flirt and ship.

Speaker 3 (57:45):
That's what they're gonna say.

Speaker 2 (57:45):
We ain't never see but that. We never did know
ship like that. We never said no shit like that
to each other. We have never done that. So for
people to have.

Speaker 1 (57:53):
This thing of being baby d it's just stupid, like
what do you what do y'all or some very hr
questionable question.

Speaker 2 (58:01):
I asked questions I would ask my sister, yo, you
ovulated trip shit twin, I asked my sister ship like that.

Speaker 4 (58:07):
I'm just saying, like he just edited peas did that
one edit where we were sitting on the couch together
and we were giggling and laughing. I like laid my
head on your shoulder, then peased did the other edit
where I got it.

Speaker 3 (58:20):
On around and one?

Speaker 4 (58:23):
Then were you lick chipping when I was spinning around
that one? We have a couple of moments when I
asked you. When I asked you to impregnate me, it
fertilized my eggs, Jamais all of that happened this year?

Speaker 1 (58:35):
Oh, Jamaris was a good time. All you guys have
some f kids. I think that was our work, right, Yeah,
that was our work, Jamius. Nobody tells you how many
random little charges hit you every week. One minute you're
grabbing coffee, next thing you know, it's a delivery fee,
a parking ticket, and somehow you bought a plant that.

Speaker 2 (58:56):
You don't even like exactly. Life doesn't come with the
budget app built in. What the Clarina card kind of
feels like you should have.

Speaker 1 (59:02):
It's basically your debit card upgraded. You use your own money,
no credit, no weird fees, and you get to choose
how you pay all upfront or you plan it out
in the Klarna app.

Speaker 2 (59:13):
Yeah, so you're still being responsible just smarter. It works
anywhere visas accepted, and there's zero credit impact when you.

Speaker 1 (59:19):
Apply smarter spending less stress. That's grown man budgeting right there.

Speaker 2 (59:23):

Speaker 1 (59:57):
Josh, all right, so what was our highest viewed episode
odes this year? I want to see if it aligns
with like some of my favorite stuff. I assume that
DJ had one was probably the highest rady one just
just because of what was going on at the time.
Eighty five South at number two, which that makes sense.
Those guys are great, and that conversation was great. Carlos
went a little crazy. That's the type of time Maul

(01:00:19):
is on. I'm actually shocked that has that many views.
I thought we was gonna get canceled. I mean, Carlos
from that same cloth man he said, he said, you
can't speak to me and suck dick.

Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
Like, Oh my lord, the audacity of you after putting
that in your mouth to think you can speak to
me in such a way.

Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
All right, Josh, what's what's number three? Bryceon Taylor Interview
loved that. I would assume Poor Minds is close though, right.
I love that Poor Mons conversation and me and Lex
got to solve our differences. Mm hmm, yeah, Poor Mons
is great.

Speaker 4 (01:00:57):
I love the fun when pretty women in the office
just inking and smelling good.

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
Both y'all just be showing out when they hear we do.
I do not. I came to argue with Lex. Y'all
came to flirt. I was showing up. I was flirting.

Speaker 4 (01:01:10):
Well, you're just charming, you weren't. You're just charming when
women are around.

Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
That's the way you're supposed to be. You're straight.

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
Yeah, but flirting. I wasn't flirting with nobody.

Speaker 1 (01:01:19):
I know. Charming Now you said I was flirting. Don't
say charming now, Deamaras said charming, I said, y'all came flirting.
You just in the package deal with them'all a couple.
M she represents you. She wasn't flirting.

Speaker 2 (01:01:30):
She would I was chilling. You know, damars, don't flirt.
She gonna lick that coppet immediately. What the that's how?

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
Baby? Do? You wouldn't flirt with Dre? I would. I'm
not above it. I'm not above I'm no better than
a man about now.

Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
But I like when we have the women to hear
Maul's jollier.

Speaker 1 (01:01:50):
With baby Baby.

Speaker 2 (01:01:52):
Don't say I'm jolly or jenomen here because then to
say I was jolly or it means I'm jolly at
some point, I don't say I'm jolly came here.

Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
That might be my twenty twenty six company goal. Mm hmm. Well,
I can't go to task rebit. I'm gonna go to
OnlyFans and find a woman that will be here hourly
just to sit where Josh is sitting for every episode,
a pretty woman Mall's type, just so he could show
out crazy every episode.

Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
Well, you gotta gotta switch her up, though, because you
know mag gets tired of his bitches.

Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
It'll be a month to month type of thing. Don't
do that. What alright?

Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
Man?

Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
We cut it out, o, you ain gotta cut it out.
Just don't do that though, Don't do me like, don't
do me like that.

Speaker 3 (01:02:34):
Yeah, you do me like that every motherfucker you.

Speaker 1 (01:02:36):
Do think a different woman a month would work a
different We have a woman I think I don't have
to do bi weekly, right, so that's gonna get there.
My hot ninety seven salary can't cover that, like my
hourly shit once a month. A new woman that could
sit right there, just to keep Maul you know, motivated.

Speaker 2 (01:02:53):
Y'all love painting this narrative about me.

Speaker 1 (01:02:55):
It's not a narrative. It is a narrative. I don't
think there's anything wrong with the truth saying the truth
is fine there. Everyone's cooler and funnier when women around.

Speaker 2 (01:03:02):
I'm not saying I'm like that with company period. It
could be Shaun C could be sitting over there and
I'm happy to see him, and I'm in a like
you know, it doesn't matter. Yeah, make it seem like
when women peach peach.

Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
You were there for the Daylight episode when Shawn C
walked in? Did mall get funnier? Shawn see is a legend.
We love him. What women walked in and I got funnier.

Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
Every mind gonna lie. They get in here.

Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
You you do get the cheap it's did I do
it with joy?

Speaker 3 (01:03:34):
Yes? Hell, yes, you were hilarious.

Speaker 1 (01:03:37):
Look at Josh. He's in on it now, Josh, What
did I do? What did I do? Josh gets She's
a guest. It's a guest in the studio. I'm doing.
I offered fucking dayl soul water and tea.

Speaker 2 (01:03:53):
I offered, I made a I made a couple of
tea for D Nice.

Speaker 1 (01:03:59):
Kiss want to cheat up with the kids, D Knights
on his cheek and telling me smells good and make
a fucking company.

Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
You're like, yeah, D Nights came in here. I say,
your d nice with something made you want some tea?
I made a cup of team for D. I put
honey in it for him and all that. Like so
I do the same thing. It's guests. I do that
with Okay, I try to paint the narrative like, so.

Speaker 1 (01:04:16):
You're gonna say with a straight face right now, in
twenty twenty five, you had the same energy with Life
Jennings as you did with Ash You Nicole face, take
the sunglasses off. Yeah, a lot in my face. I
did Okay, I did let him get a ship off.
I argue, you know, said, what's up? How you doing?
How's everything? Yeah? Twenty six. He's trying to make it

(01:04:38):
a bad I don't think it's a bad thing. But
yees saying you are more charming on and off, Mike,
when there is a pretty woman here, you're friendly. You
can call it hospitable, whatever you want to do. I
don't care. I'm just telling you the facts. All right,
let me just talk to it only.

Speaker 2 (01:04:56):
But first of all, I used to be that way
to talk to the only person I can trust this room?

Speaker 1 (01:05:01):
Peege. Is that true? Leave me the trenches? Yeah, listen.
At a time I was the same way too. There's
nothing wrong with that. It's okay.

Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
Oh, I get all types of funny when the wholes here,
I ain't. It ain't just you, it's us, you know
what I'm saying, it's us together, we twin.

Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
I just felt like I treated Damaris. Being bisexual has
also a by personality when it comes when pretty women
are here, she'll be that way. But when a man
she deems fine, she gets super bashful and quiet. Out
of nowhere, she'd be making a hose. But when a
man comes around there. She like, I'm like, Damarus, talk

(01:05:47):
like you be quiet the whole episode. I know who
my favorite guess was. We know who your fee. I
get who your favorite guess was. Joey. We strowed all
over your face. You was in here. You asked gt
the worst demerits at the Joey Badass interview.

Speaker 2 (01:06:02):
She was trying to give us the knowledge the science
on the day, the mathematics and all of that.

Speaker 1 (01:06:07):
She came in here with all of that.

Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
The mathematic I'm like, she ain't never gave me and
you the mathematics on the day.

Speaker 4 (01:06:13):
That's That's the only guest this year. I got a
picture with two he'sok, a picture.

Speaker 1 (01:06:17):
With none of your God Joey, that ship is so funny,
shout out. Joey is cool.

Speaker 4 (01:06:26):
Like I'm joking, he's obviously happily in a relationship.

Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
What that means, don't do that. I mean, not for you.
I'm just saying, like in general, what that means.

Speaker 4 (01:06:35):
I know, you know, he's just nice to look at.
I don't know what the funk y'all want from me.

Speaker 1 (01:06:39):
Showed up to work.

Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
Niggas was like, you'll never go to the interviews.

Speaker 1 (01:06:42):
Why are you going into work?

Speaker 4 (01:06:44):
Did it?

Speaker 1 (01:06:44):
Trust?

Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
Mean, we all knew when you walked in here that
great Wednesday morning.

Speaker 1 (01:06:48):
We all knew.

Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
She and he she getting mad if she got to
come in on Wednesday. All of a sudden she hear
bright and early. She got all dervs, she got all.

Speaker 1 (01:06:57):
Kind of shit. We get it. Take a picture with
Joey and said that God fresh off pilates, like you
went to the gym this morning.

Speaker 4 (01:07:06):
I put my nice jeans. Y'all know I'll be in
here sweats, hairy, raggedy.

Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
No, first of all, that's some early two thousand and
ninety shit. The nice jeans, nice gene everyone, that was
a thing. Your nice jeans a good one. Rememberhen you
had your nice jeans, those in the back of the man.
That was such a simpler time. Remember the nice jeans. Nah,
it's Friday. I know, I know he's gonna be in class.
Some put my nice jeans on.

Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
It's hard to find a compare nice jeans. Then, now
all these jeans are like, I'm about to get on
stage and fucking perform. I just want good jeans, man, Yeah,
stadium jeans, don't do that. I don't want summer jam Jeans.

Speaker 1 (01:07:48):
Was there anyone that I switched up with when they
came on to the show.

Speaker 4 (01:07:51):
That you got a little giggly around? Well, no, because
I was thinking about who you were giggly around. But
it's because you know them, like you know joy, you
know poor mind. So it was like more comfort. You
weren't doing like your awkward thing.

Speaker 1 (01:08:04):
Yeah, no, those are those are friends. I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:08:09):
No, if Rory don't know them, he head down his phone,
Hey what's up and walking away And.

Speaker 1 (01:08:14):
Well, I mean I like to do that anyways, just
because I'd rather have the conversations like on the microphone,
because a lot of times when you do that ship,
like all the great stuff is sitting here while equipment
is getting put together and all that, it's like, damn,
we should save this.

Speaker 3 (01:08:28):
Yah.

Speaker 1 (01:08:28):
I prefer to do some of that on the mic.
I mean miss Pat I was getting, you know, a
little giggily. But for other reasons. Miss Pat was great.
I love the Miss fat.

Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:08:38):
You guys do good with comedians.

Speaker 2 (01:08:40):
Yeah, I mean they actually you know how to talk
and laugh and shit and not yea be all stuck
up and went multolitically correct.

Speaker 1 (01:08:46):
I'm all told, homie, what's stand up? What's the stand
up scene like in Mexico? Yo, that ship and he
from la.

Speaker 3 (01:08:54):
Oh my god, that was fucking the stand.

Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
Up seemed like in Africa.

Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
Alright, all right, but that but can you not understand
why I would ask that?

Speaker 1 (01:09:03):
Though?

Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
I just thought that he may have done comedy in
Mexico before. That's is that hard to like?

Speaker 4 (01:09:10):
I don't think it's hard to believe, but it's it's
just funny.

Speaker 1 (01:09:13):
It's just funny. I get it.

Speaker 4 (01:09:14):
But it's like, I'm like, wait, because the premium, have
you ever done comedy in like your the country of
like your nationality?

Speaker 3 (01:09:22):
You could have asked him that, and then what's it
like there?

Speaker 1 (01:09:25):
I think that's worse. I think me phrasing like that
would have been way worse.

Speaker 4 (01:09:33):
Yeah, because yeah, it's not that we didn't do research.
It was just like misinformation.

Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
Okay, maybe they just read that he was Mexican. All right, man,
that's what I'm doing.

Speaker 3 (01:09:47):
That was I can't believe that was this year. That
was damn.

Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
All right. So we said Wednesdays with some of the
nastiest days of this year. I just want to read.

Speaker 3 (01:09:58):
What was the moment of the year.

Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
Joey Badass verse versus the world. That's my favorite moment
if we're talking music wise by far, Joey Badass versus
the world. Being in the crib and hearing Lux come
on that second verse, Oh my god, I felt like
Flex was playing Otis again like me and R like, yeah,

(01:10:20):
we had a time. I was running around my own
living I felt like a child again when Joey Badass
and Lux. Yeah, but y'all go ahead saying let's go
viral for the end of the year.

Speaker 2 (01:10:33):
But y'all did the same thing when that Cold record drop.
You nigga sat in the front.

Speaker 1 (01:10:37):
We just listened to it. I ever heard. That's not true.
There's just video footage of us listen listening to it,
and we're going like this. If there was video footage
and the marriage scroll and Joey Badass came roll back
to the group chat, y'all was going crazy and it's
on my Instagram currently. No, not this the video I'm
talking about in our group chat.

Speaker 3 (01:10:53):
Yeah, we loved the song. We were very happy to
hear it.

Speaker 4 (01:10:55):
It's a prise song from Cold, like, yeah, we're excited,
we're cool FN and.

Speaker 1 (01:10:58):
We'd like to annoy you. Sometimes we throw a little
sauce annoy me though I listen to Cold sometimes we
just try to make the group chet interesting by throwing
a little suce of like this might be the greatest
song I've ever heard my life, Like we didn't mean it.
If we were being required that meant that.

Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
Don't do that. Don't say we didn't mean nothing. He said, Yeah,
I didn't mean that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:19):
I know you meant that. What's the name of that song?
I don't even remember. Oh yeah, I mean Clouds is Fire.
But it's not the greatest song on all time. But
that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (01:11:27):
But I don't feel like we acted, doesn't even of
the all time. I feel like we just it was
a surprise song. Cold went Crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:11:33):
That's that's that's something for verst year. Yeah, true, rapping wise,
he went nuts something he did. But wait, yeah, that
Clouds verse should be up there for first year.

Speaker 4 (01:11:42):
When Joey dropped me and Rory, we remember we were driving.
One of the songs dropped was I can't remember, but
we were driving from the studio to your house and
then we were listening and we were but.

Speaker 1 (01:11:54):
The town one dropped later, that dropped when we were
in the crib. That's where we should add she had
Jeff loggin shit going. Yeah, we was running laps around,
We was getting behind the couch, we was running last Yeah,
we were so we were just excited. We were excited
it was New York was back. That was my favorite
fucking moment.

Speaker 4 (01:12:12):
And then we had Carver we call reason to clown
him about constant damn kytinio ass up.

Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
Boy. That whole week was so much fun. We had
the ball.

Speaker 3 (01:12:20):
I yes, that would probably be like my moment of
the year.

Speaker 1 (01:12:23):
And then it came and went and we went right
back to just bullshit stand stuff with Kendrick and Drake. Yeah,
the Internet was so much fun that, like people actually
just cared about music and not stand them for that week.
That that was my favorite moment. Shout out to Joey. Yeah,
I mean shit, even with the town joint that's up
there for versus the year Joey went nuts on that.
Joey had a great ye that that was my favorite

(01:12:44):
moment of the year by far. Joey badass. First, everybody
shit not for nothing as much as uh the whole
bet thing with behind the scenes were that kind of
annoyed moll and I just because we and p as
well because he had to come with us. That was
annoying that we had to up and do that ship
out of nowhere. But a lot of cool moments did

(01:13:05):
come from that. Oh, there was a lot of fun,
fun conversations. We had a good time at BT. Yeah
during that time definitely. Then we got Ray Vaughan versus
Baby d That was a fun moment. Free.

Speaker 4 (01:13:18):
Yo, I was beefing all year, all right, next year,
I'm at peace.

Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
A year I'm at peace. Same thing every year. I
was beefing all year. I don't know the funk was
going next.

Speaker 4 (01:13:30):
I'm not beefing with no rappers in their fans next year, piece,
it's all peace.

Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
I just remember she said that, Josh, let's put that
on a bulletin boarder and then when March comes she
start beefing with somebody. We can just scratch that off
real quick. She's beefing already in March, three months in it.
She's already beefing.

Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
Can I go into my soft girl era? Can I
get my twenty twenty six? Like? Can I? Can I
be at peace? You can be a piece whenever you want, bro, Yeah,
but I want my tea era of piece where like
you don't have to do anything, and like it's that's
what's expected. The whole world should cater to you. I'd like,
can I have that year? Is that allowed? Not? Even
with soft it's a thousand percent which you guys made

(01:14:09):
it the same way world kind of definition, and then
the Republicans changed it is the same way soft girl
had it. That was a definition and now you guys
are just like the world just owes me everything. Soft girl.

Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
She doesn't have to lead in the relationship. She can
just be at ease. She can put her guard to
do nothing. A man to lead that type of soft girl.
She doesn't have to be so hard and so like
you know, make all of the decisions, and you know,
she can.

Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
Be on guard, be on guard. She can trust that
her man that he got it.

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
He's you know, everything emotionally, mainly emotionally.

Speaker 1 (01:14:42):
I don't have to carry all the emotional weight of this.
So I just sit there and do nothing the emotional
weight of emotional weight of this. So what does the
soft girl do in return?

Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
You just you just don't get it, and you're dedicated
to not getting it.

Speaker 1 (01:14:54):
That's fine. I applaud your dedication. But you know, this
is how women work. This is why he's just a
couple of You need somebody there to call women out
on their ship. I just asked a question. How am
I sitting here not trying to understand it? And I
asked the question about.

Speaker 4 (01:15:11):
It knowing you're not going into the conversation and good faith.
It's an argument done in bad faith, because no matter
what I say, you're going to twist it around. I've
been explaining it. Me and Al were sitting there explaining it.
You're like, oh, so it means do nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:15:23):
That's not. First of all, in the Bible, you can't
judge someone else's faith. Their faith is their faith. Yes,
that's not Do you want to get to this. I'm sorry.
I didn't know when you were being touched. We're also listening.
That was the time when I was listening the most.
How could I forget? I didn't mean to laugh them, sir,
That's why I was laughing. Demeriss like you guys laughed
at my pain all year. That's some fucking nerve. No, no, no,

(01:15:49):
don't don't no, no, I'm asking you. Good fans call the.

Speaker 4 (01:15:53):
Fans calling me demeris the scientists. That's like starting to stick.

Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
And I don't like that's equal to laughing at me molested.
You be molested on.

Speaker 4 (01:16:04):
She laughs at being molested That copanis okay, Well, I'm.

Speaker 1 (01:16:08):
Sorry, Fu.

Speaker 4 (01:16:09):
Why will mart laugh and Miss pat laugh and all
the fans laugh?

Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
But I can't. I don't even know the trauma of
demeris the scientists.

Speaker 4 (01:16:16):
Anyways, Maul said, if I catch a man, chi, should
I tell you you?

Speaker 3 (01:16:19):
Was like, don't tell her. That's demeanster scientists.

Speaker 1 (01:16:23):
You did say that, but I also said I would
tell her. He did say that, but that ain't they that?
And I told men that we have mutual friends with
I said, if you do anything around me, I'm snitching.
I'm Demerius's friend. First, I don't care about you. I said,
don't don't do your dirt around me. I'm telling Demerits
that's my bear, dirt around me. Play it for real.

(01:16:45):
That's true, Beryl.

Speaker 4 (01:16:49):
Next year, let's not laugh at each other's pain. Let's
dedicate ourselves.

Speaker 1 (01:16:54):
If y'all don't let me be in touch, get away gross.

Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
We gotta laugh at the pain, baby d We can't
never benon that.

Speaker 1 (01:17:01):
Just because I'm gonna be my soft girl era doesn't
mean you can't laugh in my pain.

Speaker 2 (01:17:04):
Ry just wants to go to pilates and get a
latte after and go, you know, just try on things
at a low and you know that's what he wants
to do.

Speaker 1 (01:17:13):
Yeah, my only wardrobe is just Lulu Lulu tights, that's all.
That's what you'll think.

Speaker 2 (01:17:19):
That's what he wants for himself. Yeah, plates and lattes.
So asking in good faith.

Speaker 1 (01:17:25):
Since I'm going into my soft girl era, I don't
want to just take. I want to give as much
as I take. So what should I give in my
soft girl era? It's not about giving or taking. That's
that's what you're missing.

Speaker 4 (01:17:36):
What you're misunderstanding the soft girl era is I'm at peace.
I'm not arguing, I'm not fighting. My nervous system isn't
all upset because I'm stressed out. I'm super super stressed
out over work or I'm super super stressed out about
my relationship. Everything is balanced and aligned in my life,
and I'm avoiding unnecessary drama and turmoil and things that
are gonna hire my fucking quarters all levels. I'm at peace.

(01:17:58):
That's what's soft. I'm gonna I'm in my soft feminine.
I'm not on guard. I'm not like miserable, I'm not
anxious like that's what that is.

Speaker 1 (01:18:06):
Oh, you can just take a valume for that. Mm hmm.
That helps. I think that's if you look up what
volume it does and it's side effects and it's everything
that she just named. Yeah, all right, I'm in my
volume era we are. We definitely are definitely in my volume.

Speaker 4 (01:18:28):
So this is the last episode of the year. Anything
y'all want to say to each other.

Speaker 1 (01:18:34):
Jokes aside. I do appreciate everybody in this room. Yes,
really appreciate you guys. This this this was a good year.
Great a lot of ups and downs, a lot of
a lot of crazy ship, a lot of great ship
every year, ups and downs every year. Yeah, and I'm
happy knock on wood again. How would you know you
uproar if you're not down?

Speaker 4 (01:18:52):
How would you How would you appreciate the sunshine if
you've never been rained.

Speaker 1 (01:18:56):
Sunny days wouldn't be special if it wasn't for ring exactly.
Joy wouldn't feel so good if it was different. Death
got to be easy because life is hard. It'll leave
you physically, mentally and emotionally scored. See, you can't even
name that poet.

Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
That poet is crazy that you can't even name that poet.
You didn't even take that class.

Speaker 1 (01:19:16):
Yo. They don't teach U Curtis Jackson one one. Nah,
they don't teach that. No, but no, I'm very thankful
for everyone in this room and everyone that's on our
team that's not in this room. It's been a great year.
I thank you for everyone's effort for real, and thank
you to the listeners. Thank you to the supporters.

Speaker 2 (01:19:34):
Thank you to the listeners, the subscribers, the people in
the comments, the fake pages to curse us out.

Speaker 1 (01:19:40):
We appreciate all of it, and we should especially give
the fans and listeners like a real thank you. This
is the first year we haven't toured, yep, and usually
we get to say that to them like in person
at the end of shows, meet and greets, kicking it after. Yeah,
we didn't get to do that this year, which mainly
you know, falls on me and having a child. But
you know, thank you guys, for real. I wish we

(01:20:01):
could have said it in person, but I had to
give you know, my life together. Amara can't be at
every ship.

Speaker 2 (01:20:07):
Out Okay, man, That means we just have more Next
time we do decide to go out, that just means
we have more to talk about, more to catch up on.

Speaker 1 (01:20:13):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:20:14):
We got to see what people have been doing in
their lives. Hopefully everybody is doing much better than the
last time we saw them.

Speaker 1 (01:20:19):
Everyone seemed like they were doing all right. Well, I
mean outside of them. The relationships you broke up, like,
I'd like to go to Seattle get an update some
of those was the better.

Speaker 2 (01:20:28):
Maybe I helped I helped a lot of people out
may It doesn't look like that yet, but maybe I did.
That wasn't your person, Yeah, it wasn't, Carlo, was your
person exactly. Looking forward to the new year twenty twenty six,
continued blessings, continued health for all of.

Speaker 1 (01:20:44):
Us in this room.

Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
And yeah, those of you watching and listening, continue blessings
and health to you all.

Speaker 1 (01:20:49):
Gotcha you doing checkups regularly? Me liking myself, not like internally,
like to the doctor. Oh yeah, like physical. Yeah, I know,
mall stay at the doctor white Damn. Not in a
bad way.

Speaker 3 (01:21:02):
I know.

Speaker 4 (01:21:02):
I reckon that's a compliment. I recognize men who stay
at the doctor. I know you stay at the doctor.
Oh okay, I mean you have to go to take
care of myself now.

Speaker 1 (01:21:09):
And it's it's getting to that age. Is not me
making a joke whatsoever. Get that prostay check. It's that time, bro. Yeah,
the recipiece of my brother combat Jack is passing anniversary.
You know was this past week. Listen, guys this camera.
Sometimes you need to get a finger in your ass,
not sexually.

Speaker 2 (01:21:32):
Coming from somebody that's a man that knows.

Speaker 1 (01:21:35):
I have laid. I have laid on that Deli paper
just like this. I have played right on that sandwich paper,
treating me like Astromi sandwich Minio. There has been the
nurse there for a witness, because legally there has to
be a witness when someone is putting their thumb in
your ass. Oh I didn't. I didn't like look back
at it. That was something I thought it.

Speaker 4 (01:21:56):
Would be like a middle finger, like the longest finger.
I don't know you thought that because it would be
the longest finger.

Speaker 1 (01:22:02):
I don't know how far. No, I don't think it's
a thumb. I really don't know what finger they put
in your ass. It's the pointer finger. It's the point
of sisters. I literally just I try to find something,
whether it be the cabinet or something.

Speaker 2 (01:22:13):
The focus on breefe through and then people like make
me a bird so I can fly far far away?

Speaker 1 (01:22:19):
He say the prayer that Jimmy was that was fucking hilious.
Did God make me a bird so I can fly
far far away? And meanwhile forcing the I can't walk.

Speaker 3 (01:22:32):
At the Planned Parenthood when they're giving you an abortion, they.

Speaker 2 (01:22:35):
Go, oh, yeah, it's on you, sho will we going
with this?

Speaker 3 (01:22:40):
They got like a picture pro.

Speaker 1 (01:22:42):
Life or not. They got a picture of Malty bortion
clinic like this j print okay, all right, pamphlets on
me at the abortion clinic like.

Speaker 2 (01:22:57):
Hitting the jail poles. Yo, that is fucking crazy. I'm sorry, baby,
don't mean your story, yep.

Speaker 1 (01:23:06):
To go off what you'all were saying.

Speaker 4 (01:23:07):
At the abortion doctor's office, they will have a picture
of like waves and the ceiling for you to like
stare at and focus on the waves while you're going
through that process.

Speaker 1 (01:23:17):
Nice, Yes, how many waves you counted? Me? Boy? Fuck
you are you asking that question though? About the waves?
How many times she saw the waves? Go? Fuck you?
This is something that I was told by people that.

Speaker 2 (01:23:30):
A friend, a close of a friend, a friend of
her friend.

Speaker 1 (01:23:32):
I know it, would you go with her to the
to the clinic, hypothetically the girl you were be having
an abortion with?

Speaker 2 (01:23:39):
In t twenty Seves, I went to the clinic with
girls that wasn't my girls from my homies.

Speaker 1 (01:23:42):
Nag, that's a friend I am. That's sick. Yeah, I
got cursed. I never told that story. No, the best
way to end the year I was, I would want
me some more rose, Josh. I would never tell who
it was. Of course, I'm trying to ask for that.
A friend of mine. He was a high profile, he's
a high profile out person. And a girl he was
dating was she needed to have an abortion. He wasn't.

Speaker 2 (01:24:06):
He was out of town. So he asked me to
pick up and take her. So I did, and they
hurted my walk. You know, we walked into clinic together.
All abortion rights pro life people was out there. They
have fingernails showing me pictures of you know, aborted fetuses
and things like that. I wanted to say, so bad,
this ain't even my bitch. I wanted to say, I

(01:24:26):
agree with y'all so bad, Like I agree and I
respect what y'all out here doing this.

Speaker 1 (01:24:31):
Ain't my bitch though, Like you know, I'm just doing
my man a solid. But yeah, that's the only so
I guess I'm asking. His reasoning was he wanted you
to do that to make sure he knew that she
saw it through or just because he might support. Yes,
like she wanted wanted like she needed somebody to be
there because of course traumatic. I went traumatic, right, I

(01:24:52):
went pictures. He was like, YO, make sure this bitch
gets is done.

Speaker 2 (01:24:55):
It wasn't like that like she was she definitely I don't.
I mean, she do, but I don't know if she
wanted you know what I mean that, I don't know,
