Speaker 3 (00:28):
My brother?

Speaker 1 (00:28):
You know what, man, I can't lie man. It was
it was excellent as usual. You know for me, any
day that I get to wake up and three bad,
it's an excellent.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Yes. I love one thousand or seven.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Brother, same always beautiful, man, blest, highly favored.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Was able to see.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Family, my brother, my wife's brother came in town from
San Diego with his girl. Got to kick it with them.
So we did the morning at my family's house, my
wife's family's house, and then we went to my folks crib.
So I got to see everybody.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Bro. It was lovely, good man, that's good man. Hey
look here, man. We had We had a couple of
battles out there. Man, we did. I was watching great
football with my dad. Question we go we go, we go,
we go. Start off with the Broncoles and the cheese baby, Yes, sir.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Chiefs went out there, man, and they fought with all
they could, man, but they they ended up falling short
twenty to thirteen.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
To the Broncos.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Bro Bronco with ol Patrick Mhall and still had a change.
Now still had a change.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
Bronco's get up out there, man. First time, Nick, he
dumps one to Harvey for what I think it was nine.
Next play, Harvey picks it up, picks up the first
down with a six yard run.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
I think then Knicks was a bandy for about eight.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
They ended up sleffing Harvey on the second down, but
they still at like third and second, and then you
do a little swing pass.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Right there to Harvey.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
He picks up another first down, six yard game seventh. Dude,
you gotta he gotta get outside. He gotta fit outside
the tiger end. Man.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
You gotta you have to, you got to. You gotta
force him back inside to your health.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Man. I think it was Nick Laughlin.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
He ran one for six second down, Knicks to Franklin
for another six first down. Harvey only picked up about three,
but that was a solid tackle. He didn't let do
fall forward. Yes, second down knicks to I believe humphree
for six. They get to I think it was third
and one, and then quarterback sneak it. Bro, I gotta

(02:34):
know what what is Chris Jones doing swimming on the
third run.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Bro, He's choo He's choosing gaps, man, He's picking and choosing.
And if you do that on the third and one,
you know the quarterback is going to take that gap
that you're swimming that you swim out of.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Ye, like right there, he gave up the first down somehow,
you know Denver, you know they had the first down
in Kent City thirteen and then they finally decided to
somehow stop the bleeding field goal three to oh you
know Chase.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah, thirty six. That's boning mixed. Missed the pass. He
was throwing a little bit of high passes.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
But yeah, kind of know of that.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
But Chan's city. Get up out there and it's your board.
He ain't getting nothing but but one yard on that one.
But second down.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
He picks up eight and.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
He moving open and down the third one they go
to they short yard. This guy Hunt coming in. Kareem
picks up five for the first down. I think they
ended up picking up one yard after that on that
next first down and then second down.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
I want to get into him later, but I'm just
gonna call him. Oh okay, Okay, I can't. I can't.
I can't get that.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
I can't get the name right, okay, Chris, Oh yeah,
I'm just gonna call him out.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
He went on head and he completed it too worthy.
But uh, dude, he goes and steps out of butt.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
How do you do that?

Speaker 2 (04:03):
You gotta have a he's ready to try to cut
up field, but you gotta have awareness. You're on the sideline.
First things, first feeding bounds. First things, First two feet,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
He was getting.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
He was trying to set up the corner, trying to
dead let him get up the field. I'm like, bro,
you only have one foot, then one for out.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
You let the man mess up his first throat and
he scrambled up out of there and make make make
it make a nice.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Completion to you and you step out the bounce.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
I don't even You got to help out. You got
to help out you. You got to help out your
young quarterback.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Like I said, I don't know what happened there? The
third down announce were talking about he launched it into nowhere.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
No, he got hit.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
He was pressured on the first pass he got. He
got actually hit on the second one. He only got
two pass and both of them he was he was
under pressure or hit. They end up punting the ball.
They never get back out there. I think that first
down is when they did the play act Nick Missus
h who was it?

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Was it? News?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Yeah, he could have hit nineteen sitting right there wide,
opened it like five or six yards, like you go
for that anyway. Second down I think he was dropped
for a two yard loss. They do like a I
don't know why we're running it though. Third down he's
pressured and he throws it to a Foulton who he

(05:27):
makes a nice play. Lucky they lucky case. He got
lucky like that bounce. But like you linebacker hustling.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
He gets Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yet, yes, the ball was a little bit behind. That
was a great play by the dB.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
End of the day. He hit it with his second hand,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
But he moved Oh oh, he definitely didn't think he
was gonna hit that ball.

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Brother, No, no, no way.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Hess it with this one. I got to try and
get it with this one.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Dog he catches, he's catching it. He's up the field,
he's scoring the right. The second hand is on. But
the when you trying to get the tackle, he's just no,
I'm swinging the bat that.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
They get the ball at the thirty five with Denver.
First down, they handed to Pacenko. He get a hot too.
Second down they do that rpo. It's a pass. They
get a hot two. And then third down it's like
third and six, you know, manageable dude. He hits Kelsey
for eleven, scrambles up out of that thing and makes

(06:29):
a nice, nice pass.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
On the round. Mm hmmm hmm. That was nice.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Then first down he scrambled for four I think second
down Pacenko he got like three.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
So now they had third and three. Hey stn Kelsey
for two.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Solid tackle again, solid tackle again, and then what was it?

Speaker 3 (06:51):
He goes, uh, fourth down, you.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
Know we get the fourth inches, give it to Kareem Man.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
He busts a quick five, get to the Denver six.
You know, first what was it? First down?

Speaker 3 (07:07):
He almost like sold the game, like not even the game.
He almost sold the play. I'm gonna sold the play.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
The balance, he doesn't fall, gets up and then actually
had awareness and.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Then d to throw the ball away. That could have
been practice squad. Get rid of that practice squ four
years practice squad.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
I think second down, Chanko, he gets like one, and
then third down, I think he hits Smith and he
just breaks a good solid tackle. I thought he hold
on to it. He didn't hold on to it. They
scored on the five yard touchdown.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Yes, Like I'm like, that was that's but that's the
way that you get your young quarterback.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Give him a short field, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
They defense playing good then checko, we got good people
running the rock. So that was a nice dry and
get the ball back.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
First play, Knick kicks Ingram for I think eight, they
pick up three. IM thinking on second down they end
up getting the first down on that three. First down, Yo,
Harvey drops the.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
Past like that was just that was that was just
that's just a drop up.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Yeah, second down, I think he ended up picking up
like like maybe like two or something like that.

Speaker 3 (08:35):
Yep, yep, because then oh yes, six was hitting he
was thorm tackling right the right way he needed out there,
trying to take man. He was trying to run through people. Debo.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
He wasn't looking at the rock at all. He was
looking at them and now like straight great tackle to lot,
wrapping up driving his feet.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Yeah, checked something. They go, hey, baby, but this.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Is the one I'm talking about too, because it gets
to that third and eight and bo Nicks high ball.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
High ball across the middle of the sudden.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
He's open like he's rent throwing on the run a
little bit, but a little It hit him in both
of his hands, but didn't catch it.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Punt.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
They ended up punting the rock. What was it, Kent City?

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah, they they punted it to the Chiefs right right.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
They got it first and ten for Checko gets yeah, twelve.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Yard he busted for thirteen. He shood he shook old
dude in the backfield though he.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Did, yes, he did sha yes, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
He got he got, he got lightweight fired on though
by by Denver. Sixth he got light way fired on.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, on the side he got he crack.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
Diff defense stand up. They end up forcing him to
go ahead and punt it again. I think Denver they
start that with like the ten yard line because of
a whole.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
This is when they start doing them long old drive drives.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Man, Like first down it was four, second down it
was three, third it was seven. They got an incompletion
on first, they get four on fourth, and then old
boy go ahead and scramble for fourteen to pick it up.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
That's when he's using his legs. He started using the
legs again.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
First down four, second down two, they ended up getting
a false start.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Then he ended up scrambling for nine. Fourth third down
is fifteen.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
You know, I think that that proceeding first down they
got thirteen and then what was it?

Speaker 3 (10:33):
First down? He was almost picked on second though, like
like it should have.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Like I don't know, it should have been like a
holding call on that on that on that third down
where Sutton dropped the ball in the back zone where
he dropped.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
That, oh man, you're talking about they went to him
first and goal, second and goal. He drilled the ball.
He threw it too bad. But the third down that
was good. That was good defense. That was bang bang,
that was everybody.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
I felt like if he had survived the ground on
that David game, if he had a survivor down here
to gate, but.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
It was just too much. It was them DB's. They
was hitting in there.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
They was all reason board. They was trying to hit
the ball. So like it was.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
He was pissed because I know he's had the ball
and they were still no, now we're clawing. He like
I had it the whole time. So yeah, that was
just I like it was. It was bang bang. That
was a good ball by Bo putting them in the position.
That's the only way it could be. But the DB's
they bought it out.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yeah, they ended up going what was that sixteen played
seventy eight yards over eight minutes, Yes, and for three
six to seven, six seven.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
That what they say, sad, that what they said.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
Ken he said, Ken City get the ball the end
the halftime, six seven kensas City starts the second half,
and then I believe Pachenko he gets like a three
yard game. They just pushing the pile helping him out.
I think second he fumbled and picks the ball up. Dude,

(12:04):
that quarterback picks it up, gets it over.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
That man had a rabbit's foot on his and his
uh in his close.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Gets it over the juju for a twelve I'm like wow,
I'm like wow.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Next play he's creating. That was due next play, they
get a p I on a certain ten.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
They get him another first down, and then he ends
up getting sacked for Nah, he should have threw that
one away.

Speaker 3 (12:32):
He had it. Yes, practice squad, you know what I'm saying,
de Bo. But look, let me tell you something. Practice squad.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
He knew what to do the first time in the
red zone when he almost fell on his butt and
still was able to.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Get out, he felt like there he was just so
far out of the pocket he could do it. I
think he felt like he might have been a little
tight on that. That's the only thing I can think of.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
I could respect it, but I like, come on, brother,
get it out.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
Of the Yeah. They end up in completion on second.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
I think they lost like four five on the third
and they go for the field goal.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Is good, it's ten to six.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
They still up Denver get out there like first down.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
I think it was like five.

Speaker 1 (13:13):
Nice run because he should have lost like two or
three on that one second down they got six. They
had first down again. I think it was like six.
He ended up being real patient with the run, waiting
for the opening. He get a hot six. They get
to third and three. Why the league this tight end
wide open? Bro Now he's just sitting there wide open

(13:35):
for eleven. You know it's first down and then they
get an OPI.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
Yes they do. Yeah, did you see it? Yeah? Okay, sudden.
I think it was twenty three though.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
On the next one, like that was a nice catch, dude,
But if the safety don't hesitate on that, how he
did that.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
Little hesy some of the whole shot where he did
that little.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Has he because he saw the dude sitting down like
runn underneath me, met like two three yards.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
Noah, get over there to that thing. You could have
broke that up. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
No, on that one first down they ended up but
losing what was it five?

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Like that was just a nice play by twenty two.
He made a nice tack on that. Yeah he did.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Second it was hard of you, I think, dude. For
thirteen he made yo. He shook dude so bad.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
You gotta say out outside, you gotta calling stay do.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
Something something like.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Third and two they pick it up. I think first
down they go for three. Second down it was two,
third down it was four. They get to the fourth
and one they get it. I think it was a nix.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
He goes for what was it that nine yard touchdown? Again?

Speaker 1 (15:00):
That was like fourteen plays seventy two almost ten minutes
on that one. Yes, it's thirteen to ten. Like they
were just really staying ahead.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Of the change. Like when they stayed ahead of the change,
they look good.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Bronseay City gets out there and Denver's defense it stands
up with a nice little three and now offensive penalty
on the second, with a solid tackle on the third.
They have to punt the rock. Denver get back out there.
First down, I think it was about six. They get
to a third and four and then it's six to

(15:35):
Bannon or Bandy sorry it was Bandy again. First down,
a run for three, second down, the run for three.
Third down, Knicks' is sacked though Chris Jones would come through,
but Jon, he's trying to cut bully the tower.

Speaker 3 (15:50):
Yeah, bully the tower. They got to punt the bottomble
off the casey and what what what's that return to do?

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Man?

Speaker 3 (15:59):
Man?

Speaker 2 (15:59):
That man got loose up the sideline. And that's the
way that you have to help out your young quarterback.
He's not going to be driving the eighty yards. Let's
give me my short field.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
Gave gave him good field position. First down. That boy
did some homes like stuff man to get that he'd
been watching. He ben learning, he'd be he can watch it.

Speaker 3 (16:21):
He can watching them do it, yep in the backyard.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Second down, I think ended up picking up four for
the first somehow Denver they you know.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
They do what they gotta do. They stand up. They
end up holding them to a field goal, but it's
died thirteen thirteen.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Like, yo, y'all in the You are in the fight, dude,
you are in the fight.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
And they let Denver come out there. I think they
got six on.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
First, another three on third, end up getting to a
long third and eleven.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
Kansas City got the third and eleven, and why.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Dude, he just missed well, I don't even know how.

Speaker 3 (17:04):
I don't even know how you missed it. Like how
you miss that? I don't know, Dalo.

Speaker 1 (17:12):
They get to another third and long and it was, uh,
it was seventeen's name, It.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Was seventeen seventeen for seventeen, dude? Why again? Like, what's
what's going on? First time?

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Dude weaves his way for six. They get five on
second that first down. They ended up losing three, but
I think it was second and eight, like he scrambled,
Nick scrambled end up into was it third and five
and get three?

Speaker 3 (17:45):
And this is where I am absolutely totally This is
where do you know they're trying it fourth and two?
What is going on? Bro? Like they're not even going
for it, They're just trying to get him to jump.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
And the guy that you're supposed to be able to
count on, the vet on the team, this man jumps.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Come on, man, this first gone four?

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Now they run run and then on third down, dude
lose his Harvey somehow. I don't know how he even
lost him because he was right there with him. He
throws it like he made it. Ain't gonna like Nicks
made a great throw anticipation.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
That's yes, bro, that's what the quarterbacks do. He got
your dB has his back turned to him. You don't
know when the ball's coming, You don't you know what
I'm saying. And then he just stops. He get him
a little. We're running to the sideline, DV think. But
at that if I'm the dB, you gotta push him
out of bounds. Once he's outside of the pocket and
the quarterback has the ball in his hands, you could
push him once you in the back. So once you
push was pushing, he was he was.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
Anyway one thousand percent. When you back there, you start
to scrambling, he get outside of the pocket. dB, push
him out of bounds.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
Then you turn around and look because this man can't
come in and bound play. That's a legal toucher. That's
a legal touching. So that was the only thing in dB.
I would say, you were trying to plaster. Great job
of the receiver standing bounds, you know what I'm saying,
keeping keeping himself alive.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
But dB, right there, if you just give him a
little push.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Right out of bounds, you can push him there because
the QB's out of the pocket. So it's not gonna
be ilegal.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Touch twenty to thirteen. Now Kansas City get the ball,
they get back out there. It's Kelsey for Kelsey five.
They get too third down and they said, you know what,
let's go ahead and see what hunk with.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
I don't know he got fourteen on that like Kelsey fourteen.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
He was trying to get in here with this little,
this little seven yard scream. But they got to spike
the ball on the second down. And then this is
where the inexperience coming to play. You know, you get
a delay.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
You know that is the big one, right there. Get
that delay. I ain't gonna lie still on that third down.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
He just misses like like Kelsey, if he had a
pressure and he ain't have to back up. No, no,
for sure money hell, even the fourth down.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
The fourth down, if he would have threw.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
It a little bit earlier, If you just threw it
a little bit earlier, you gotta throw that with some
more anticipation.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
The dude was getting he was into his post by
the time you threw it. If you throw it while.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
He's running, that buddy stemming him because when he came
off that leg, off that plane, he was open. So
if he would have threw it, then it would have
been touchdown. There would been a whole different story. But
that extra second you're waiting tapping it, he's running the post.
Get that dB. Time to go, get underneath the ball,
go make a play. But if you throw that thing,
like I know I'm throwing this bang, I'm looking away,
I'm looking off as soon as I know.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
Like boom dropping it. Soon as he coming off of
that bang hits it.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Brown was thinking it was gonna be short if you
don't think it's gonna be short, and just step back
step for two.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
He could have jumped and still.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Got it though he could have still probably yeah, no, no,
for sure, for sure.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
He gave him a chance. He tried to.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
Give it a chance. End up, they end up falling
short of it. Game ends up twenty to thirteen. Denver
goes on, I think they're number one.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
Seed, all right, Yeah, the control Kansas City, No, I
ain't gonna, ain't gonna lie.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Denver just killed them. Time of possession almost forty minutes
to twenty minutes, dude. The defense, the Demon's defense just
played better. Uh, situationally, they just they played better.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
Mm hmm. What was what was Denver eleven for eighteen?
On third down?

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Kansas City just gave up too many third and long
pivotal moments, you know, fourth down and fourth down all sides.
You know by Chris Jones that right here, they don't
get that all size where the game ends up right there,
that's a field goal. At least you're going into a tie.
You got you got overtime to try and do something
with it. But this is what I want to talk

(21:55):
about it practically, squad quarterback that just came out there, played.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
It, made the passes that he need, Right, you tell
me what you think of Oh see, this is what
I'm gonna say.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
I'm not gonna come out here and crown oh because
at the end of the day, oh did throw for
fifty seven yards. So like, I'm not gonna say he
came out there, lit it up and did the craziest stuff.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
Oh we got, our franchise got.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
But what we did find is a dude that I
see had some legs that didn't turn over the ball,
was quick to make decisions when I did ask him
to throw the ball on the last drive, he was
able to make some good plasses to Kelsey. You know
what I'm saying, keep the drive alive. They didn't ask
him to do too much, so like, you know, it's good.
But I'm not going to say, oh, man, like what
is this guy because he threw fifty seven yards, But
just the ability to not mess it up, to be

(22:50):
able to be out there and just look, you know
what I'm saying, not flustered, you know what I'm saying,
be able to make some passes, be able to control it,
not turn the ball over. He looked a little foggy sometimes,
like when you just dropped it, fumbled it, picked it up,
like just don't do nothing too crazy.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
But he looked really he looked.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
He looked like he'd been watching Patrick Mahomes a little bit,
you know what I'm saying, Like just the creativity trying
to create scrambling around. So I was I was definitely
excited to see him out there and their whole the
Kansas City Chiefs team, like their offense, they didn't do
too much, but they were in that game. They were
in that game the entire time. So that's what really
kind of got me. I'm like, Patrick lohomeless team that

(23:29):
only had one hundred and thirty nine total yards, was
in it the entire game. I think if that's a
better quarterback or quarterback that asked to do more, or
if he was in his third or four start, you
know what I'm saying, could throw the ball a little
bit more, they would have got them out the way,
I think, you know what I'm saying. So that's been
very very positive side for the Chiefs to see that
young quarterback. I'm happy that he's got his opportunity and

(23:51):
I think they just giving him some more leeway, you
know what I'm saying, give him some more to playbook,
letting him throw a little bit more and just a
little more leashed. So I liked what I saw. He
didn't do bad. But then with the fifty seven yards pass,
and I can't be like, oh, yeah, that's.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Going to be the franchise guy.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
But his legs not making bad decisions hitting Kelsey, hitting guys, you.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
Know what I'm saying, trying to drive the ball down solid.
I take that.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Just throw the ball away a little bit when you
have to on the one we saw, and then just
the dropping of the ball of being a little nervous,
that was kind of That's it. But I was positive.
I liked what I saw. Ye, dude, practice squad player.
As a practice squad player, this is your first ever.
I ain't gonna lie, dude, I like it.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
I like it because he didn't go out there and
mess it up. He gave him a chance to be
able to win it. He didn't turn the rock over,
he didn't make too many bad decisions, and like you said,
like he's a practice squad player, bro, this is his
first live, real action and now with my homes out
he's going to get at least half of the year,

(24:50):
all of the offseason, all the reps, you go, get
all that with the ones, get an opportunity to go
out there and actually put in the work, the time
to actually work on his craft with the guys that.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
He's going to be doing it with in the season.
I don't know, man, I.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
Think I see I see the possibility of a lot
of upside on this.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
That's just you know, I like that. I like that.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
No, for sure, it's always good to see a young
dude and come in there and not look like a
deal with the headlights, look like the situation isn't too
big for them, looking like they're ready, their NFL capable,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
So positive, bro, super happy for him. Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 1 (25:26):
Man, the war was it the Vikings went out here
and beat up on Detroit or Detroit on out here
and just squatter the a.

Speaker 3 (25:36):
I don't know which one you want to say it is,
but it was. It could be two things could be right,
I want you know, two things could be things can't
be right.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
It was, man, if Vikings get out there, I think
that's the only really thing that the defense did well
they did more than I'm real. I'm just I can't
get over how bad the offense did. Like this is consecutive.
It's like I don't anyway. Man, Let's let's get into it, man.
Vikings they get the ball, they get out there, and

(26:06):
Detroit forces a three and out with that third down sack.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
They end up punting the ball. Detroit gets out there.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
I think it was Golf to Saint Brown for eleven
on the first one, and Games came back through to
get the first down with four. Second down, Golf gets sacked,
and then I think they got ten on that third down.
They line up for it on fourth and three and
they are called for a fall.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
Start. Yo, that was bullspit. That was bullspit. Bro.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
Dude did nothing but lift his head. He didn't even lift.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
His head fast, bro. He did the regular head, bob,
regular regular head. Ball.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
End up, Yeah, they end up having to punt the rock.
Vikings get the ball. I think it was like second
and seven. The defense is called for a holding, which
stand up picking up the first down on that and
then they pick up five. I think second down, Jones
goes for ten and then first down he hits Jefferson

(27:12):
for a hot hot nine.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
Yes, third and one? What is it?

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Brosemer, Bromers, broomsmur whatever it is? Quarter back.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
I'm a punting beat B B.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
B scramble before eleven, Boyd put his feet through work.
He had he had to, both of them need to. Well,
he couldn't. Golf can't put his feet through work. But
Jones ended up getting five on the first down. I
think second down they lost four. That was just a
nice player. Dude made a nice player now and then
third down he gets sacked. They gotta punt the rock back.

(27:51):
I just don't question, bro, Like Detroit get back out there.
I think it was uh that second down, Minnesota ended
up challenging the spot they won, So they get to
the third down and Golf fumbles snap the snap. They
end up recovering the thing on the six team.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
Bro Bro, that's when it's that's when it all kind
of started for the lines of what are we doing
out here? Like I'm just like really just I couldn't
from that point on, Like I loved that game, but
not really because I'm just kind of like just seeing
the seeing my team, the lines.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
I believed in them. Hey listen, I'm gonna get to
that too.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Bruh. Yes, gets out there. First play, he get nine.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
I think he ended up picking up two on the
second down for the first time. They try one hot
little pass. They're like, nah, let's go ahead, give it
back to Jones. He goes for four, and then third
down he finished it with a one yard touchdown.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
It's seven.

Speaker 1 (28:54):
Oh yeah, sure, get back out there. I think the
only play they had was the second and eight. He
hit Williams for like fifteen, and then the next second
down Gibbs fumbles the rock, gives it back to Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (29:10):
Dude, Vikings get the ball.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
I think they got to like a third and five
and two back to back false starts and then a sack.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
They end up Hutcherson again.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
They end up putting it right back to them. They
get out there first down, Golf gets sacked.

Speaker 3 (29:30):
I'm like, dude, what is going on here?

Speaker 1 (29:33):
And then they get to third and sixteen and that dude,
tesla tatsla?

Speaker 3 (29:41):
What was that? Twenty eight thirty man.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Yes, thirty, dude on the dig getting missing and trying
to throw people offs.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
I think it was third.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
They get to a third, another one third nine Saint
Brown with every team then they say, hey, let's let's
try and get the run game going.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
They give it the Gibbs. He get eight, and then
they get it to him again. He gets six.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Sat down, they dropped Saint Brown for a loss of five.
Third and fifteen. Golf is running for his life and
he hit Saint Brown for twenty three to the Vikings twelve.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
Brother.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
They end up getting down there going for it fourth
and one and barely make it.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Brother, Tesla went head top.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
It was a lot of traffic over there, and you're
gonna throw that noisy pass on fourth down. I'm like, okay, well,
I'm glad he caught it landed directly.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
I'm talking about the first fourth down where they ran
uh they ran Montgomery.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
He barely got that. Oh yeah. The second.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Yeah, they go for fourth and second, four down and
they had test line again.

Speaker 3 (30:55):
Yo. I don't know how he he It was just
a great hat. I don't know. Your head on. He
lost all of his win. You seen, he just lost
all of his win. I don't know. He landed directly
on his back.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
That's one of the ones where your back and head
hit so hard you conk out for a minute.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
The hit all though instantly you catch back. Yeah, you
just let go, You just let go. That was.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
Had. It was like nineteen plays eighty yards over ten minutes,
ended up tying it up seven to seven.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
Yes, by far the mess driver.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Yeah, they needed that needed bad. Fightings get out there,
and I think it was an illegal contact that gave
him a first and then second down. Bromers, he gets
sacked for loss of ten. They can't make up from it.
They punt the ball back. Golf gets the rock in

(31:49):
the half and get sacked like that. That's just that's
just how the game was.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
Going for him.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
Now Detroit gets to start the second half though, ship
second down.

Speaker 3 (31:58):
I think it was ten yo. Saint Bron got.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
Fired on, but he picked up the first down. Yes,
I thought they were gonna call a flag on that Bro.
He might get something to the middle.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
I ain't gonna lie to you.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
You he like say, Bron got the first of Olf,
but he got fired.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
We got fired. I'm trying to tell you.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
They go for it again later on the fourth down
and get the fall start. This is a real one,
though asked. This is a real false start. They gotta
punt the ball. Fightings get out there. Detroit's defense stands up.
They force it three and out.

Speaker 3 (32:33):
Okay. They punted back to Detroit. Second down, Golf gets
sacked the very next play. He is under pressure trying
to slang that thing and he gets picked. Yep, he
just launched it.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Yes, chucking duck. Chucking duck Byron Murphy. Great play, hands team,
Let me get that like. That just was a bad ball.
That just was not din that was that was.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
That was one of them up in the air hands
the bit catch, Why you do that? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Used to get out there, Detroit. They get a holding
call on them on the first down. They ended up
getting to what was his second and seven and Bromers
I think he get Oliver and then I think it
was Chandler.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
They just started running the rock.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
I think they went five five two, then ended up
getting to the third down and he got sacked.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
They settled for the field goal fifty They just that.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Ain't even the long one, bro, we go get to that.
I know, That's what I'm saying. They were just selling
for field goals. I'm like, you just selling for a
fifty two yard like, and I'm thinking at some point
this got a change. Detroit, get back out there, Okay,
I'm like, this is just.

Speaker 3 (33:50):
Going to change.

Speaker 1 (33:52):
Yeah, first play that boy, Harrison. Harrison. Harrison Smith says,
I know what you mean you're doing, and you're not
about to do it. He just sat there. He didn't
even move his feet.

Speaker 3 (34:04):
Bro.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
As soon as he go to break, I don't feel
he read that man like a book debo. I'm trying
to tell you that's great safety play. You gotta fake
too high. You know what I'm saying. They running that bang,
They running off the play action. Saint Brown's running that bang,
and you had the corner. As soon as he ran
the bang, the corner was like this. Yes, it looks
like they've been studying. They've been waiting for this moment.

(34:27):
Come off that bang, and you're gonna jump Harrison, you
jump it. If he runs a double, I'm gonna come
back right on the top. I got your back. I
got your back. I hope you know how. But notice
play coming. Hey, if this play come the very first time,
this play, come jump it.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
I'm gonna have your back if it come. I got
you back in know why, and that's what mess you
the corner. I'm like this.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
As soon as he saw him break, he like this, Yes,
because I told him, man, if you don't go pick
it now, I'm clowning you.

Speaker 1 (34:53):
I got the double move food. That's your got your back,
don't even worry about it. Got your at it. Yes,
fighting's get out there. They can't do nothing with it.
Detroit ends up holding him to eight fifty six year
six yard.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (35:07):
We holding people to fifty six yards.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
That fifty six yard field goal. Bro.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
He ends up smacking that thing and it had the
nerve to hit the net. Though, what was this respectful dude?

Speaker 3 (35:22):
Thirteen?

Speaker 1 (35:23):
Troy get out there. I think they ended up completing
one first down. The next first down, this man is sacked, fumble,
Minnesota recovers the rock.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
There was a meeting at golf brother. They hit that man.
He was the middle of the sandwich.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Smash ball smash. Minnesota manes get the ball back. First down,
is holding. Second down, they get sacked. They just like, yeah, listen,
we ain't trying to win this. We want to see
the defense play. They punt the ball back.

Speaker 3 (35:57):
It was so yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
Troit gets out there and they're like, yo, we go
try and run this thing again.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
Man. They get the gibbs.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
I think he was four five, and then on the
third down he ends up picking up two for the
first They get no game on the next first down,
lose two on the second and I think it was
what third and thirteen? They only got like five. They
end up punting it right back to Minnesota. Yep, Minnesota again.

(36:27):
They don't want to do nothing with Detroit, say three
and out, get up out of here.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
They punted right back to him.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
Detroit come out there, and I think they get to
they end up geting to like the Minnesota thirty. They
do a little something. They get to the Minnesota thirty.
They kicks that field goal is now ten to thirteen. Minnesota.
They get back out there and on second down Atkins

(36:54):
or Addison, Addison, this boy jets off on him five.
See the defense, y'all. Then y'all just give up sixty five.
Y'all got a problem with the rush, dude, I got
a problem with up the sideline twenty to what ten?
It's only like three forty left. They still kind of
got a chance. It's you know, it's possible. Detroit get

(37:17):
back out there. I think he hit Williams for like
twenty two, and then they.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
Get to third.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
Down, and this dude is sack fumbled again, Like at
what point in time are we not going to like
try and hold onto this thing, Like just they're getting
to you. Minnesota recovers again. I think the Vikings go
out there. They only got maybe twenty yards seven plays,

(37:44):
but they put them in a field goal range. They
kicked the field goal twenty three to ten.

Speaker 3 (37:51):
That's where the game ends. It's over with.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
It don't really much matter, dude, Detroit they got some issues.
I mean, you can't turn the ball over that much.
You can't have your quarterback pressure that much all day.
They could not figure out how to handle the pressure.
Bru It was just like it's it was just blatant
yadd like sixty eight yards rushing bro one hundred and

(38:17):
ninety what seven passing boy was sacked five times, picked
two times, gave up three fumbles. Like yeah, but brouh,
I ain't they got me thinking right? So I'm like
it's Detroit, Like are they just bad?

Speaker 3 (38:34):
Now?

Speaker 1 (38:34):
Are they just trash? Because like we did like the
same thing to him, Like what's going on? And dude,
when they say comparison is the thief of joy, bruh,
it is I even lie I went, and I'm looking at.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
What we did.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
I'm like, yo, let me rewatch this. I'm looking at
what we did. I'm looking at what they did do.
I'm like, we gave up three hundred and sixty one
yards to these boys gave up two hundred and thirty one.
And I'm like, they're not. I don't think, well, yeah
they are. Numerically they're that much better than us. So
I'm like they had to have like more plays or

(39:13):
something they did, but it was only like five plays.
So I'm like, yo, i gotta get something to make
me feel good. I'm like, yeah, maybe it was play
per game. I'm like, okay, Minnesota three two. I'm looking
at ours. I'm like five too. And I'm sitting there
now and I'm like, yo, their offense ain't doing nothing,

(39:35):
and I'm like, what did we do on offense? I'm like,
we gave we gave our you know, we gave our
defense four hundred and eighty one yards of offense two
hundred and thirty yards rushing, and at the end of
the game, we in a dog fight just to stop
these boys. And I'm like, you know what, I don't

(39:57):
I don't even want to think about it no more.
I'm like, Yo, we got to play the That's all
that matters. Yes, no, de Bo, don't let that start
messing with your head. Please, don't let that start messing
with your head. Turn.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
I am so like, I don't even know why I
did that. Don't don't do it. Don't worry about it.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
We're playing the Browns this week, and we got to
figure it out. We we I'm always gonna say people,
I mean, you don't know what, man, Listen, brother, you
know I always keep telling you what my heart is. Okay,
my heart is with My heart is with the Browns, Okay,
because I was drafted, my heart is there, Okay. But

(40:42):
at the end of the day, you my good mans.
So I'm gonna give you honest feedback too. And I
was there, so I want to see them do well
also for sure. So we're gonna be blatantly honest about
the games how it goes. But you know, whenever it's
nitty gritty, I'm the Browns guy. Yeah, we're gonna we
go get that mathematically eliminated.

Speaker 3 (41:02):
We're gonna get to that just just in a hot minute. Man.

Speaker 1 (41:04):
It was one more game on Christmas Day that we
got to watch Dallas. They they beat Washington. I mean
I don't twenty to twenty three to thirty game. I'll
me the game wasn't as close as the numbers say.
I mean, Washington did like run on them boys for

(41:25):
a hundred and what was it, thirty eight almost one
hundred and forty yards and it was eight point six
a total. Josh Johnson, he went with fifteen for almost
two hundred. They had three hundred and twenty eight yards.
But Dallas just got out on them early. They had
almost five hundred yards four hundred and eighty yards of

(41:47):
total offense. They had eighty seven plays to Washington's forty
one plays. Dak was nineteen three oh seven. They running
back was twenty four for one was the one three.
They had two hundred and eleven. You know, rushing as
a team, they just they just got behind too early
and couldn't make it up. Even though they had eight

(42:10):
point six a rush, they couldn't really use it.

Speaker 3 (42:12):
They was they was trying to catch up. So that's
a that's you know, that's yeah, that's that man.

Speaker 2 (42:21):
Both of them dudes, like you know, I mean cowboys.
I think the Commanders they down to the third string quarterback,
theve Marioda was gone, Daniels was out. I'm just glad
to see them out there trying to they at least fight.
They was trying to compete. You know, season's over, but
you got dudes out there that are still trying to play,
still trying to ball.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
So it was good. That's always been a good robbery,
you know, just got a.

Speaker 1 (42:43):
Lot of They're doing a lot and they coming away
with no victories. Man, if you would just sit back
and just look at they numbers from the offensive side,
you'd be like, yo, they got to have at least
twelve thirteen wins.

Speaker 3 (42:53):
Like it, don't it.

Speaker 1 (42:55):
Don't correlate, dude, it's crazy like we got. I would
hate that. I mean, you real bad, dad, You do.

Speaker 3 (43:06):
It real bad.

Speaker 1 (43:07):
Them boys averaging almost what is it, three hundred yards
passing the game, something crazy like eighty to ninety or something.
It's something. Goofy, dude, it's something real, goofy. The buds
gotta play them boys, gotta play well.

Speaker 3 (43:22):
We got a lot of ball coming this weekend, though.

Speaker 1 (43:24):
Man, I think Saturday we got the we got the
Texans and the Chargers, and then at I want to
say it's eight.

Speaker 3 (43:34):
We got the Ravens and the Packers.

Speaker 1 (43:37):
Listen, packers need y'all do something for you, boy, do
what y'all supposed to do. Boy what listen? Man, do
something for y'all. Boy, man going out there and put
these boys out their misery.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (43:52):
I ain't saying I'm scared, okay, but I might be
a little bit nervous about what see lamar the last week.
If it's something on the line, I just I don't
want them. I want I don't want them to have
nothing to fight for but pride.

Speaker 3 (44:13):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
So you you wanted to not matter, I want it
to not matter to them.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
I don't want them to fight for nothing but pride. Okay,
that's it.

Speaker 2 (44:25):
So that's why you need them because if they lose,
then they can come play us, and then they just don't.

Speaker 3 (44:30):
Y'all do whatever y'all want. Over.

Speaker 1 (44:31):
We ain't worried about y'all. Now, hold up, we got
Sunday Sunday wanted.

Speaker 3 (44:35):
But that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (44:36):
We never been worried about y'all. We never been worried
about y'all. Don't you hey stop playing with yourself now,
all right?

Speaker 3 (44:44):
Bro?

Speaker 1 (44:44):
We got you being real disrespectful over there. Boy, huh No,
I'm just saying.

Speaker 2 (44:49):
You just said you're getting a little nervous about them
having the plus coping to play against the Ravens if
they got something to you.

Speaker 3 (44:56):
Keep doing them us all day, you bet Joe who

But we still still is still gonna win. But Mile's
gonna break the record in in Cleveland Stadium and sack.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
Not not on duty? Not what the stiller is on duty?
Still hold it. Look, they gotta stop run, which they
cannot do to say their life.

Speaker 3 (47:04):
You know who we got over here? Game? Game? Well?
What are you talking about? Game wells Warren? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
I already know. Listen. The boys run so hard.

Speaker 1 (47:21):
I really I don't want to see this, but I
feel like somebody might be taking a nap on your defense.

Speaker 3 (47:28):
The boys run too hard. They come through the hole
too fast. It's too much power, it's too much skill.

Speaker 2 (47:38):
They're gonna stand up understanding, you know, and gonna come

go ahead and throw it to us.

Speaker 2 (48:44):
He gonna be out there running for his life. You
hear me that. That is fast unit to make sure
he can throw that ball away. It's gonna be tough
because we got Junkins is not out there, so my
other man Sanders and Samson gonna.

Speaker 3 (49:00):
Have to toe. So yeah, it's gonna be a tough,
tough game out there, brother, tough game. It's gonna be
easy slid for us, baby, easy slid.

Speaker 1 (49:12):
And on top of that, and on top of that,
your boy gonna have to play out the whole year
to get the sack record because we don't.

Speaker 3 (49:19):
We don't, we don't. We don't give records.

Speaker 1 (49:22):
Okay, all right, we don't give nobody to make records
on y'all you understand that fact. I just got an
article out where I slammed one of your Browns fans.
You know what I'm saying? Like that was that was
that was fun. Like, we don't just do it to
your players. We do it to your fans too. That's
what we do. Anything that's brown and orange. We treat

(49:47):
the same as we do.

Speaker 2 (49:49):
The puppet bomb, the bo he You was talking about
me being disrespectful.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
Do you hear how disrespectful your being right now?

Speaker 1 (49:58):
Do you do?

Speaker 3 (49:58):
You? Do you see how pitifold the Browns are every year?

Speaker 1 (50:05):
How many times y'all don't beat the Steelers Joe over
the last I don't know, save fifteen twenty years, maybe.

Speaker 3 (50:12):
The last time it was in the playoffs that actually socked. Yeah,
that that did suck.

Speaker 2 (50:17):
But yeah, oh yeah about that Browns had a playoff
win before the Steelers. Happily, I had the last playoff win.
Oh how about that?

Speaker 3 (50:26):
Oh no you didn't. Oh how about that?

Speaker 2 (50:30):
Boh yeah, all that these but the Browns, Oh the world.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
Ooh, it's the boo boo of the world.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
All that Browns won the playoff game last and they
beat the Stealers.

Speaker 3 (50:43):
That was unfortunate. And I was on the Stellers team too,
So you was with the trash you. I wasn't even
playing for them then you were. I had COVID. I
had COVID. That's the reason why we lost. I had COVID.
I was at the crib. I had to watch the
game from the house. I was trying to come up
with the song, but I guess that wouldn't mean anyway. Joe,

(51:06):
you know what time it is. It's time to play
bris Joe. You know how it works, baby, I got

(51:29):
my line up this. Baby, you either go play or
you go faded. Okay, and look here, I'm gonna tell
you what it.

Speaker 2 (51:36):
Is, Ben, tell me why you did this this this panago.

Speaker 3 (51:40):
Listen, man, I just know what they're gonna do. They
gonna get there.

Speaker 1 (51:44):
Can't read this rock bro Okay, yes, I got em
for more because they gonna give him the rock. They
not about to sit there and get another situation where
they questioning what's going on. Derrick Henry about to get
this rock twenty five to thirty times, man, and if
Derrick Henry can't get more than seventy two yards after
twenty five thirty carries, it's a problem.

Speaker 3 (52:02):
Okay, Now the door, it's going to be less.

Speaker 1 (52:08):
You know why, because that's what we do to rookie quarterbacks.

Speaker 3 (52:13):
Less passing.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
He's not going to even have he's going to That's
why I got anym more on rushing. He's gonna be
running for his life. He's going to be running for
his life, point blank period. Okay, and you know Jacksonville, Hey,
old man Rivers, I ain't gonna watch you man. You're
gonna be less this week. I'm sorry. They're gonna be
ready for it this time. So Joe, you tell me

(52:39):
what you go do better. You go play this thing
where you're gonna fade this thing, Joe, and you tell
me why you go be disrespectful if you go fade it.

Speaker 2 (52:50):
You see what this is, this one calling this a
temper phase. I'm gonna fade this joint for a couple
of roks.

Speaker 3 (52:58):
Hold on what you.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
Deck, Henry, I was with you. I was with you
shardor underpassing. This is why I might be against you. Say,
y'all gonna have to We're gonna stop the run. Still
is gonna have to stop the run. You know how
it gets y'all are we're still as are up by
thirteen dunk dunk, everybody backing up playing that defense that

(53:21):
we hate to see. I'm liking one hundred and twenty
one hundred and thirty in real game time in the
first three quarters, dumped down something maybe fifty sixty in
the fourth of Popeye. So he's gonna get at least
twenty yards passing eleven and a half yards rushing. Yes,
he's gonna be running for his life. So that is
a correct one. And then old man Phillip and under

(53:45):
that is correct also because you know Jacksonville's not playing
They playing for a lot. They got things to do.
Oh man, really, they're probably gonna be on his tushy.

Speaker 3 (53:54):
So I say, you had, dude, you can't fag him
on door. That's out of control. That's disrespectful, that's disrespectful.
You talking about he go get he go get.

Speaker 2 (54:06):
Look how much did look Jared golf through for this year?

Speaker 3 (54:11):

as he's allobed to catch one. Ah M, you know what, man,
listen here, make sure y'all downloaded after day and use
the code.

Speaker 3 (54:32):

Speaker 1 (54:33):
And get fifty dollars in lineups after you play your
first five dollar lineup.

Speaker 3 (54:36):
You don't want to miss nothing. Baby. Look here, tell
your mama you're possible.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
Everybody here, Joe out here, he he he's smoking on.

he's like, never, don't know what's going on. You go,
he gonna get two hundred on us passing.

Speaker 2 (55:02):
It's gonna get two hundred, just two hundred. That's not crazy,
that's not crazy. And Miles gonna grow record and hold on.
Let me, John said, I said, I said was gonna
break the record because you you made you look. I
said that out of Spike. I said that one out
of Spie. I was a little I got my feet,

(55:23):
but how many you kept on?

Speaker 3 (55:27):
None? He didn't have none? Last time.

Speaker 2 (55:30):
Tackle he might have had one. Yeah, looks oh yeah,
I mean you beat boxing over there? Like what's going on?

Speaker 3 (55:44):

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
