That link is pinning in the chat.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Oh Joe, we had a game and it came right
down to the last. It took yea Gunzales his field
goal to get the Falcons over the hump twenty nine
to twenty eight over the Buccaneers. First cousins were sensational
to night. Thirty of forty four three seventy three, three touchdowns.
All three of those touchdown went the Kyle Pitt Senior
eleven catches a buck, sixty six three touchdowns. V Jon

(05:18):
Robinson had eight catches for eighty two yards along of
twenty one David seals. The fifth had six for seventy eight.
He should have had a touchdown. I don't know who
taught him to catch a ball like that, O Joe.
I don't know who taught him how to catch a football.
But anyway, we gonna get this head. But anyway, Baker
Mayfield was nineteen to thirty four two seventy seven, two touchdowns,

(05:41):
one very very costly interceptions. They didn't run the ball
as well as I thought they would. Twenty two carris
for eighty eight yards. Mike Evans came back his first
game back and seemed like three almost three months. Six
catches a buck thirty two forty five yard long, twelve targets.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
I thought Atlanta's defense played at Seption Night.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Look, yeah, they gave him some yards, but they got
after Baker Mayfield's ass.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
They were boy, they was on him. You didn't know.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
You thought it was a lionbrid attack to the wheelerbs
yess how they were trying to drag him down. O't Joe,
And they got it five times. They picked him off once.
But it was a very interesting game. Oh Joe watching
this ball game? What did you like about what you
saw from the Atlanta Falcons?

Speaker 3 (06:24):
And listen more Normally when we talk about Atlanta Falcons,
the one thing where we do talk about we.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Talked about their offense. We talk about their offense. Drake London.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Obviously Drake didn't play to night, but Kyle Pits his
his emergence and looking like the number one pick that
he is, and I'm not sure why they don't use
him as often and create plays. Is as big and
than talented as he is, He's a mismatched nightmare for
for any defense.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
You you get out there.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
There are not very many corners or linebackers that can
cover him. So I'm not sure why he's not implemented
into the offense. More so, he has these type of
statistical nights like they did.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
A Kirk Cousins.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Kirk Cousins, listen, I'm not sure if he can do
it every single game.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
If you protect him, he can.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Yeah, this is protecting he can.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
But this is what you can get from Kirk Cousins,
which is why I think that Atlanta Falcons even got
him in the first place despite drafting you know, Michael,
Michael pitting R like.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
That, and you got him, and you got him, Joe,
not to cut you off.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
You got him after he came off on the Kiles
tear at the latest stages of go ahead.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Exactly knowing, knowing what he can do, and you know,
being the thrower of the ball.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
But but they look good.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
The defense had Baker and making Baker Mayfield uncomfortable from
the beginning of the game. From the start of the game,
he was very jittery, he had happy feet. They CAUs
him missing throws. They batted a few balls down. Obviously
he had an interception as well, But Baker Baker had
twenty seventy seven yards bunk. He didn't look like the

(07:50):
Baker Mayfield that we saw early in the season where
they were stringing off win after when after win would
he make a buka you know, playing really well with
my in the aftene of Mike Evans, they didn't look
the same. But this is a really good defensive game
and it came down to the wire and they should
have lost the game too, honestly, Yes, yes, they should

(08:13):
have lost this game.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
They had they had nine penalties.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
I think they had nineteen accepted penalties.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Oh, nineteen nineteen accepted penalties hold on one hundred and
twenty five yards. Yes, that's the elept in nineteen. They
declined a few more. And see that's the problem. Sye
Raheem is coaching like he knows something that we don't like.
He got job security for at least another year or two.

(08:41):
But yause, first of all, now you look at the record,
they're five and nine. Okay, the record is not I'm sure,
and I know mister Blank a little bit. We used
to work out at the same place you go to pilates,
and so I have a very great relationship.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
With mister Blank.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
But he can't be pleased with the record considering the
amount of money that he's paying drafted the quarterback paid
Kirk because there's a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
You have nineteen penalties, one or two things.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Your team is undisciplined, which his negative reflects on the coach.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
We got a bad record.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Our team is undisciplined because you coach it or you
condone it, which in either case I place on your shoulders.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
And then you make a bone head plate.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
You down an even number and you go for two
because if you get miss it, guess what you have
to do, O Joe, you have to chase it.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Now.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
You gotta hope your defense and Tampa did him a
favor make it was a little behind a mecha book
a buka because he had a step on him and
he threw it behind him, which is a hard catch
to make when you're running full speed and the running
this way and you got to open up this way
and the defenders right there on you, and the sooner
the ball hits your hand, he tackles you. So that's
a very difficult catch to make. The Bumps made it

(09:49):
very easy. But the Falcons are a very undisciplined team.
They're a very undisciplined team. If Kirk Cousins doesn't play
out of his mind, they're losing this game.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
They lose that game.

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Yeah, uh Bjon, Now what people are gonna start to
seem like he'll put it on the ground for us.

Speaker 1 (10:06):
He'll give us an opportunity. You gotta hit me back
to back weeks.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
You've done this and you got you got to hit him, monk.
Put it. Put a hat on him. Put it.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
Listen, you you're wearing pass for a reason. Put a
hat on him. He gonna call it up and put
once you put it, once you put it on film.
Then now I was just saying, once you put it
on film, and they understand.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
Okay, we can get that ball up off of him.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
All you got to do is.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
Put the hat on and rake at it, rake at it.
Put a hat on. It's gonna come out.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
Falcon twenty seven first down. Uh, there were five or
eleven on third down, one on one on fourth down.
They had sixty six total plays on your four hundred
and seventy six total yards. They had ten drives seven
point two yards per play. Again, Cousins had three hundred
and sixty five yards passing. The biggest play he made
is that when he sacked him somehow, he like, I
gotta get this damn ball back, and he ended up

(10:56):
getting it back.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
They have one hundred eleven yards rushing, but eighteen penalties.
Think about it as come to your building. They they
have nineteen accepted penalties, Yes, for one hundred and twenty
five yards a turnover, and they still beat you. Yeahata,
Look the defense, I thought the defense played well. Look

(11:19):
they got the Tampa has some various talented receivers. You
look at Mike Evans comes back. Chris God wouldn't had
a sighting tonight. He's routing back into shape. We know,
but Abuka hadn't been the same since he kind of
tweaked that. I think it was a growing or maybe
a ham string. He really haven't been the same. Bucket
Irvin just came back because they normally run the ball
a little better than what they did. But I gotta

(11:41):
give the I gotta give Atlanta credit because they brought
pressure on the biggest third down basically.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Of this ball game.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
They brought a safety blitz Bates junior base the third
made him step up and they got him. He almost
got out of there, O Joe, He almost got out
of there. But that was some big kohnahs to say,
you know what, y'all, Hey, you're one on one outside.
But Mike Evan was giving aj Terrell that had Brian
on him. Brian would slip slide like he was on
the water, like he's on the banana peel. He would

(12:09):
slip sliding all over the place. He said, no, hey, hey, Terrell,
you got him. He was giving Terrell the business. And
then they would go to Mike Chris Godwin and then
they go to Bookah. So we only look. Everybody ain't
got two or three great corners. Now, Philly got a
situation where they got two, but that third one he
gets a handed to adri Jackson. Most teams just have
one solid corner in a good one. So if you

(12:33):
got a couple of good receivers, it could be a
long night for the defense. But if current cousins first cousins, Oh, Joe,
he played out of his mind tonight. Yes, absolutely, he
played out of his damn mind. And he has that
ability if you protect him, if you protect if you
let him set his feet, if he crops back there
on that field, he can.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Just oh he gonna light your ass up. He's surgical,
and get him off that mark. Listen, he hes not
going nowhere. And this is how he was before his
Achilles before the Achilles injury. You know, yes, you let
him sit back there.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
Listen. He like a goddamn surgeon.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
He will dissect your whole or he will dissect your
whole defense. And he's surgical with that goddamn football until
you until your man, until you make him uncomfortable, and
you get him off the spot. If you don't get
him off the spot, these are the type of knife
that Kirk Cousins can have consistently and and honestly, even
with drafting Michael Penning Jr.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
Your security blanket was was was.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Kirt the whole time.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Once they made the switch at quarterback and decided to
move on because they understood the history of Michael Penning Jr.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
All Right, there's a chance that he.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Might not be from.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
That's why I was shocked, given his history. He's injury from.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
You can't leave him on the board, huh.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
If if you're in that war room, it's all about
the next best player, and you understand Kirk Cousins. You
know what, you know what he can do. He's put
it on film. Okay, you know what we're going to
get Kirt. But the next Bix player on the draft
board was Michael Pennan Junr. So he was a security blanket.
So when things go well for Kurt and you switch quarterbacks, Okay,

(14:12):
We're still gonna keep Kurt because we also understand that. Hell,
Michael Pittans Junior got a goddamn injury history too.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
I give you, I give your choice. I give you
bow knicks, or I give you Michael Pennix Junior. Who
you take it?

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Based on what we saw, based on right now, what
you know right now, between quarterbacks, based on what we
know right now, We're going Michael Pennan R. I mean,
excuse me, We're going bow knicks bad. Yeah, we're going
bow knicks.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
But also you have to remember, because of the injury history,
I'm Leary, Okay, Leary okay, And we're gonna talk about
your quarterback because he had the same kind of history
also coming out of college.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
Yeah, we're gonna talk about your quarterback in Cincinnati, Oh Yo.
Kyle pitt Senior is the first tight end to have
one hundred plus receive, one hundred and fifty plus receiving yards,
and three TV's in a game.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
Since who ought you?

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Hey, Since since Shannon is Shannon and Mayo sharp, Hey.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Y'all keep on sleeping over y'all just think I'm a podcaster.
But yeah, yeah, the shirt said that I was held
when I was well up.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
Yeah, yeah, you and you was that boy. Now that's
that's one thing about it. Now, I'm not gonna lie
to you. I lied for you before I lie to you.
But but when you played, when you play that game
of football, yeah on that green grass, well you was Heim,
yeah you you you was him?

Speaker 1 (15:25):
You was yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
But but see, oh yo, we talked and we talked
about this, and we had Cole Pitts on this this
summer and he was very excited. And I understand this
is the first night he didn't have any drops. He
didn't they didn't throw it to him, and he threw
it back at them. The night he was a receiver.
He wasn't a retriever. He played his ass off for
him to be as big as he is. I don't
know if you've ever seen him on Closer Personal, but he.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Is ass man.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
He liked six y in which he can move. He
doesn't move like he's not clumbersome. He moves with fluid,
he moves with grace. When I saw him in Portim,
I say this guy, hey, that he was more of
an f U and he's still in them. I mean
he his blocking and you know I tweeted, like, bro,
that combo you got more time to you think on

(16:08):
that combo block. He ended up getting the left tackle
Jake Matthews a holding call because he didn't give enough
on that combo block. JA can work his hips around
and get it and hook him. But that's not to
hear no there tonight. If what I see in Kyle
pitts now, I'm not saying on Joe he gonna you
and you and I both know everybody knows he's not
gonna have a game like this every damn game. But

(16:30):
to see what the potential is, he has the ability
to a couple of times a year have a game
like this. He has the ability to get you six seven, eight,
nine catches for seventy five eighty ninety yards in a
touchdown here there that five for thirty five.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Ish not and he too good for that, but you wait,
too good for that.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
But but that that the onners and that and being
used and being put in the right positions. The onus
is is that's on the offensive coordinator. That's on the
off of the coordinator understanding what you have at your disposal.

Speaker 4 (17:01):
That's understanding.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
Listen, putting him in positions and moving them around and
creating those mismatches for him. There is no one out
there that can cover him in one on one situations,
which most of the time he will be in because
the running back is having success in the backfield. Yeah,
because Bijon is such a double debt, such a dual
threat outside running the ball, he can he can catch

(17:23):
it out to the backfield as well. So Kyle Pitts is
going to get those mismatches. There's no there's no Nickel corner,
there's no there's no dB and ain't no goddamn safety
that can cover Kyle Pitts one on one. So I'm
to me, obviously common sense and logic understanding what he
can do, he should be able to have games like
this consistently, even if even not back to back to back, hell,

(17:46):
maybe every every other week.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
Well, I think I think I had this game. I
think I had this game in nineteen ninety six. So
that just goes to show you're talking about, damn the
thirty years that somebody's had that many yard one hundred
and fifty plus yards in three tens down to the game.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Now, you know you boy, you know, I put the
thing together like that. Now you know what? Yeah, you know,
but you know, you.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Boy got old it all of a sudden. Yeah, I
had Rod developed and he came along and he's playing
at your boy at the number one, and so I
had to go back and go to number two and
then get the same opportunities.

Speaker 5 (18:18):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
Kirk Cousins. In his last three games against the Buccaneers OJO,
he's three and oh one thousand, one hundred and fifty
eight yards, eleven touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
One I in t in three games.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
In three games, so he's basically averaging three hundred, three
hundred and eighty five yards a game.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
That's that's nasty work. That's that's that's nasty work. That's
that's good work.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
And that's what you want from someone that you're paying
that kind of money, someone that you're paying that kind
of money.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Obviously he was.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
On the bench.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
But that's our safety net. That's our safety net.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
So now understand for those who didn't understand why they
did it, now you get it when you see him
have games like this, because when you seeing him have
games like this, he was with the Commanders, you saw
him have games like when was with was in Minnesota,
so it's what you get.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
This is also what Mike saw when he drafted him.
Remember they took RG two, RG three, Yes, the second
pick in the draft, and Mike still took Cousins because
he believed that he could run this offense. He processes
information very quick. Now, he's not as mobile as you
would like the West Coast quarterbacks. When you look at

(19:35):
the old school West Coast quarterbacks, you look at Montana,
you look at Young, you look at hell Way, you
look at Barb, you look at Roger, you look at
you look at the guys.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
Now, if you look at guys that play.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
In this system, he's really the only stationary guy that
they have. But because he can get the ball out
of his hand extremely quick, because he processes information really well,
because that's what you got to do in the West Coast,
because a lot of stuff, O Joe, it's quick stuff.
We running shallacross, we run bubble screens, we know things
like that, things that are extension of the run game.

(20:04):
Because most West Coast teams didn't have a Terrell Davis,
they didn't have a guy that could go get your
seventeen hundred rush yards in a season. They had guys
that could get you a thousand, maybe eleven hundred, but
they would also catch you thirty forty fifty balls like
Roger Craig did when he won a thousand and a thousand.
That's mostly what the West Coast backs are. And if
you see look at Saquan, you see what sa Quan

(20:25):
did in that West Coast basically that West Coast system. Yeah,
so when you look at it, I was like, okay,
but I just I need somebody.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
I need somebody to explain it to me.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
And I ain't talking about no analytics because because you
mofos couldn't play football, y'all try to infringe on the
game saying this is what.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
You should do.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
You should not go for f and two when you're
down an even score game. I get it.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
If you're down fifteen, O joe.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
I get that, because you're gonna have to go to
go for two at some point. But when you're down
at even score, O Joe, you score a touchdown, you
kick the pat.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
I'm down seven, Yeah, go again, kick the pat. We're tied.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
And listen, you see the way you just explain that.
You see the way you just explain that. Now I'm
not sure if you're understanding a chat. I'm not sure
if you guys are paying attention. We've seen all these
different scenarios where there have been lapses in judgment and
logic and obviously common sense when it comes to coaching decisions.
You know, and again the knock is coming at the door,

(21:28):
but you're not answering it and you being a coach okay,
not again. This is another example of you being in
a position in allowing the NFL itself and players to
have opportunity to be coached extremely well, which structured and discipline.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
That's something that you can provide.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
But you choose not to answer the call or the
knock that's coming at the door. So I'm gonna ask
you one more time, let me know because I can
put it. Hey, now listen to me. Now that there's
a coaching there's a coaching vacancy, open dynam and album.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
Based on based on my track record. It was just transpired.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
Nah.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
They they came to mind and they just go ahead, denied.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
They already they already were here and put denied. Okay, okay,
oh yo, looking at cousins.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Yes, let's be real, we can be real here, Come on,
how different you think the season would be for the
Falcons if Cousins had started instead of Pennings Jr.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
Oh, you know what?

Speaker 3 (22:41):
You know that that's yes, that's a great one. That
is a great one. What did there been any different?
How many games can kirk Cousins have strung along? How
many games could he string along back to back that
looked like this? How consistent could he? Could he have
played for the Atlanta Falcons to help when they when
when the coaches had lapses in jail, husband and some
of the things that he did with the team being

(23:03):
as undisciplined as they are, will kirk Cousin be able
to save them every single night? No won decisions, to
lead points on the field like they did today, but
still manage to win the game. How many games can
kirk Cousins save the team when they have nineteen penalties
for a hunting that goddamn some goddamn yards and he
has to come say today and be superman.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
I look at it like this.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
He was the only quarterback that they have on that
roster that could have saved them tonight. I don't believe
Michael Pennix Junior win this game now with that being said,
I don't know if there's god. I can't recall a
team having this many penalties. I know I've never played
on the team that had this many penalties, and I
can't recall off the top of my head. Ask put
this on my notes the most When the last time

(23:48):
somebody had nineteen or when did the last time somebody
had twenty or more penalties in the game?

Speaker 1 (23:53):
I can't recall off the top of my head.

Speaker 4 (23:54):
Oh, Joe said, still one and still one that when.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
I look at it like this, I thought this year
would have been a better year if you're gonna start
cut for Cousins, because guess what, he's a year for
the past removed from that surgery. So now he's in
his second year, so now he feels a little better. Look,
his arm is what it is. There's nothing wrong with
his arm. He doesn't have the strongest arm. He doesn't,

(24:21):
but I tell you what he throws with great anticipation. Now,
b Jonne Robinson, the one that he caught on third down. Bro,
all you had to do is do that in the
first half. I'm trying to figure out why you pull
it off. They played it off. They blew the coverage
the guy retreated and the guy stayed inside. All you
gotta do is break away.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
And if you're going to break away and you pull
up and he's looking at.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
You, like, listen, yeah, listen when he look at Hilm,
when he look at him, he'd be like, oh goddamn,
Oh god damn. I got to be able to read
that better than obviously. Once you come off the ball,
you can see it because I saw it right right
from jump. Go ahead and go ahead and take that
thing all the way outside. Yes, it's not zone. Is
man wide open as is ready for you would have

(25:02):
been easy catching, an easy catch, and you turn right
up on the field and get as much as you can.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Oh Joe.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Tonight was the fourth tie for the fourth most pennanties
in a game by.

Speaker 1 (25:13):
A winning team.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
The Raiders had twenty three penalties in a game in
one in twenty sixteen. The Browns had twenty one penalties
and won the game in nineteen fifty one. The Jets
had twenty penalties in a game in twenty thirteen and
won the game, and the Falcons Eagles the Falcons did
it Tonight had nineteen and won the game. The Eagles

(25:37):
had nineteen and nineteen eighty eight and won the game.
And the Cowboys had eighteen in twenty fifteen and won
the game. Look, no, I'm not saying Look, oh Joe,
and I are not saying that Kirk Cousins, nobody in
the history of the game is gonna throw for three
hundred and seventy six yards and three touchdowns every game.
Even when Peyton Manning threw for fifty five touchdowns in

(25:58):
the NFL record, he didn't throw for three seventy six
and three downs every single game. There are some games
that he threw for four, Some games he threw for one.
Some games he threw for seven. To understand that. But
here's ability at O Joe. He did this without Drake London. Yeah,
he did this without Drake London. If you could protect him,

(26:22):
if you can protect Cousins, and that's always going to
be the issue. If if if and I know, look
it's it's the largest smallest.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Word in the English language, Yes, sir.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
But when he's protected, he is surgical a because he
processes information extremely well, extremely well. You have to get
him a quarterback that's stationary, O Joe. If you don't
get him off that mark He'll carve your ass up.
Every time you have you look like have you looking
like the fa the Halloween pumpkin, He'll carve your ass up.

(26:57):
And I'm surprised that Tampa's defense uh gave up the
kind of yards that they did.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Now they started trying to bless him on that last drive.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
They got to him a couple of times, they got
the ball out of his hands. About one time. They
hit Cousins in the face, and they got him for
an intentional grounding. But they hit him in his face
before he did an intentional grounding. They didn't call it.
You're not gonna be able to see everything. I only
saw it because they showed it on replay. But the officials,
the referee, that's his job, his job to look at
the quarterback.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
Mm hmm.

Speaker 2 (27:28):
But tonight was Atlanta's night, and tonight was Alas night.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
I was. I was surprised.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
I was like, And when Jon fumbled that ball, I
was like, bro, Bro, you develop you're developing, and you're
developing a habit that he don't want. Because guys are
gonna start tackling.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
The ball not worried about you.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
They're not.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
They're gonna start tackling the ball. Bro That's that's twice
in back to back weeks. You're done, coughed it up.
And you don't you don't want you don't want that problem.
You don't want that problem. But Atlanta five can move
to five and nine twenty nine, twenty eight thanks to
a walk off field goal by Zane Gonzalez. And guess what,
o Joe, your team, the Carolina Panthers are in first

(28:12):
place in the NFC.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Listen, listen, I'm you know what, I'm not even gonna
take credit.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
You ain't gonna take credit.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
You know, I'm not gonna take credit.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
I'm just telling you, as a person that watches football,
that that that most people probably wouldn't be the first
to listen to when it comes to my takes on
the game, unless it has something to do with plan
the position of wide receiver or maybe defensive back whole.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
And you based on what you know, how you played
in the league. You know and tea how teams put together.
You watch them in the preseason. You like the additions
that they have. You like you like McMillan, like Bryce Young,
he finally figured it out. You know, hopefully legg it
can can can can get it together. They signed ric
o'dondo Tuba Hubbard. Defensively, they're really good defensively.

Speaker 3 (28:59):
Yeah yeah, I mean I listen, I saw it, I
saw it, I felt it, and they are looking promising
and exactly.

Speaker 4 (29:08):
What I said they would be. Or do they are
that dark?

Speaker 1 (29:11):
Course?

Speaker 4 (29:12):
So is the other team?

Speaker 2 (29:13):
Hey, Tonal, Yeah, we got a very special guest joining us.
He had the game winning interception of Jalen HRSL Monday
Night Football, Tony Jefferson. In year eleven, he had four interceptions,
matching his career total across the previous ten season. Hey,
I mean, is it a different type of glove? I
mean you get Lasik surgery, you wear glasses. How do

(29:35):
you have as many interceptions in one season with three
with four game, with four game with four game, the
three four games to play that you had the previous
ten season when you played one hundred and seventy games.

Speaker 5 (29:47):
It's that it's that experience, man, Okay, okay, you can
put myself in the right position. Oh, you know, game
planning more mature mentally as a football player. And you
know when you see when you've seen it all man
like you like you recognize stuff like a lot quicker,

(30:08):
So M I think that's really what it's been bro
to be honest with.

Speaker 3 (30:12):
You, Hey, when when I think about a team, you know,
looking at you guys defensively, if I'm not mistaken, you
guys a rank maybe I think maybe fourth statistically and
what what do you what do you credit you know
for you guys' success on defense in the way you
guys are playing this season?

Speaker 7 (30:31):
It starts from the top. I think it starts from coaching.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
I think, yes, Uh, the game plan every week, starting
from justin Minner and then trickling down to our secondary coaches,
UH Coach Clink and UH Coach Fuller.

Speaker 7 (30:45):
Really they just invest.

Speaker 5 (30:47):
Really you can tell they they put their all into
the game plan and make it simple for us. You know,
you know each week it's different. It's always a different
challenge each week. And I think they get the right
to that fit us. And you know, they also give
us the freedom to allow us to make the costs
that we feel like it's best as as players out

(31:09):
there that fits us too.

Speaker 7 (31:11):
So just out there comfortable for me?

Speaker 4 (31:15):
Right, that's dope.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
That's dope.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Let me ask you howld On In May twenty twenty three,
you're like, Okay, I'm gonna retire and I'm gonna go
into the scouting department with the Ravens.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
Then you unretire.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
What went what went into the decision, Like you're like,
you know what, it's time, but I think it's time
for me to transition to do something else where your
body beat up or you just felt like I'm just
tired of doing this getting up, putting my body through
this training every day, and then you unretire. What went
into those two decisions to make you retire and then

(31:48):
the decision to retire.

Speaker 5 (31:49):
Honestly, I had Liz frank Mob and I was playing
in New York.

Speaker 7 (31:55):
Yeah, and I.

Speaker 5 (31:58):
Don't know if anybody that is one of the most
painful injuries to have. I didn't get the surgery, I played.
I missed nine games and I played through it, and
I was like, there's no way I can go into
next season and like feel like the player that I
felt like I could be. So I had already had
conversations with Eric Dacassa the gym with the Ravens, and

(32:19):
we talked about it as even as a player, about me,
you know, wanting to get into scouting and get into
the front office post football, so I already had that
line up and I felt like it was a good,
uh and easy transition for me to be able to
do that. And you know, so I went into that
and as you know, as a scout, you're grinding a

(32:41):
lot of film.

Speaker 7 (32:42):
All you're doing is watching.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Woo, That's all you do all day.

Speaker 5 (32:47):
And the more I was watching film and grinding film,
I'm like, Okay, I'm better.

Speaker 7 (32:51):
I know I'm better than this. Dude.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
Dude you watching field with gays as you know, you better? Man, Like, whoa,
he should be doing this, I should be doing what
he doing exactly.

Speaker 5 (33:05):
And then me just me, still just being around the game,
like and a bunch of my former teammates work on
the team, so like I'm still around them, yet I'm
working in the front office. So it was like, man,
I'm still around it. Like we had went to the
ANC Championship that year against the Chiefs.

Speaker 7 (33:23):
And that my juices were still going and they were flawing.

Speaker 5 (33:27):
You know, I would be going on a field pre
game and I'm like sizing up the other team, Like
I still had that in me.

Speaker 7 (33:33):
So, you know, I went to the Senior Bowl as as.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
A scout and I was there and I came back
home and I was like, I hit up the gym
with the Reds.

Speaker 7 (33:42):
I'm like, yeah, I'm done, I'm done, and I went
home started training.

Speaker 2 (33:46):
Rest is history, this Tony, and you don't have to
like jump on it. But I was like, when you broke,
when you guys look at the Eagles offense, obviously there
are some things that you saw that you could take
advantage of. When you looked at this offense, what is
it that you felt most comfortable? What were you trying
to do? Because other than that big run, long run

(34:09):
uh that Saquan had, your guy did a pretty good
job of bottling him up. What was your game plan?
Was it like, Okay, we got to make Jalen throw
from the pocket. We want to push him one way
or another. Is there anything in particular that you can
divulge that you felt that you guys, Okay, we got
to beat on him. We think we know what he's
gonna do, and let's let's let's sports him to play
to it.

Speaker 5 (34:28):
And I think I think, honestly, I just felt like, uh,
even like I said before, from the standpoint of uh
uh game plan, and I.

Speaker 7 (34:37):
Felt like we felt comfortable with with the.

Speaker 5 (34:39):
Matchups that we had that they were a matchup driven offense.
Obviously they want to get the run game going with Sakuan,
obviously he deserves our respect, but we felt like we
were ready for that. And then when we when we
felt like when we were able to get the run stopped,
we want.

Speaker 7 (34:56):
We're ready for Jail to throw the ball.

Speaker 5 (34:59):
We liked our matchup, I mean we had we had
a few picks interceptions right around, Like we was just
confident out there and like we always say, right now,
whether where the wrong team you want to play on contime,
like we're ready.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
Yeah, and you know, t Y, I also have another
question for me watching it home? Uh I tell Uncle
all the time and people in the chat that that
are watching, I'm sure those who have been around the
game for a very long time.

Speaker 6 (35:28):
Is it me?

Speaker 7 (35:29):
You know?

Speaker 4 (35:29):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
I don't.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
I don't mean.

Speaker 3 (35:30):
I'm not trying to bass Eagles because I like the Eagles,
you know, especially offensively and what they what they do
on defense.

Speaker 4 (35:35):
But is it me?

Speaker 3 (35:36):
Or is it offense very predictable based on what they're doing,
based on alignments, based on down and distance.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
Isn't it for you.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
Doesn't it make your job a little bit easier based
on what you see on film week the week in
the game that you watch that they played previously, they
show the same exact thing where it's so much well, god, damn,
I just watched this.

Speaker 4 (35:53):
I just watched this two days ago.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
In here come in, here, come again, that same that
same short motion coming in, coming in, coming in to
go out or going out to come in.

Speaker 7 (36:04):
I agree with what you're saying. I think they have
very strong tendencies.

Speaker 2 (36:08):
Uh oh, you mean to tell me they go throw
they go throw a j that go ball or on
the left side when he two yards.

Speaker 5 (36:19):
You go, I'm gonna say, politically, Corraft, you know there.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
Right right, They're.

Speaker 7 (36:25):
Very strong, have very strong tendencies.

Speaker 5 (36:29):
That's something like like I said, like, I feel like
we do a great job of game planning and really
understanding the tendencies, and it.

Speaker 7 (36:37):
Trickles down from the top. Lets us play fast.

Speaker 1 (36:43):
Your quarterback, brak. He got breaks the bone his non
throwing hand.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
He has surgery I think it's Monday, and then he's
gonna have to wear a plate and he comes back.
What type of energy, what type of juice did that bring?
Knowing a guy just has surgery. He's a quarterback, and
he's not gonna be able to do like the typical hand.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
I'm going to the right.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
He got a back handed with his right hand because
he can't you can't open his hand and close his
hand like you normally would with his left hand.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
What did that? What did that mean?

Speaker 2 (37:13):
I mean to have your quarterback knowing that, man, this
joke was just had surgery like a week ago, and
he out here on the football field, and you know
how physically demanding and how mentally tough you gotta be
to play this game us.

Speaker 5 (37:26):
I mean, I just start off with I remember seeing
him when it happened when in the in the game,
I saw it happen to hit the dude's helmet.

Speaker 7 (37:34):
And he's doing this.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
I'm like, oh yeah.

Speaker 7 (37:37):
He still finished and completed the game. So they're off rip.
I'm like, man, like that's my QB man.

Speaker 5 (37:43):
And then come to find out he gets surgery on
I believe Monday, and dudes out at practice on like Wednesday.

Speaker 7 (37:51):
Like all right, what we doing?

Speaker 8 (37:54):
Like Like I'm like, bro, you know what it's like
that like that right there is just like it like
motivates you, especially as a defense it's like, okay, like
our QB's out here, like we're literally with one hand
willing to fight and die in the field for us,
Like it's really something that like resonates with you as.

Speaker 7 (38:16):
A defense man.

Speaker 5 (38:17):
I know specifically for us, like we really we took
that serious into heart.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
You know what, I don't think there's a better person
to ask than you. What are the biggest difference between
Jim and John Harvard coach coach and South.

Speaker 7 (38:32):
To be honest, they're really similar. I think like.

Speaker 5 (38:37):
Both of them are just like pure football guys, Like
it's everything is football.

Speaker 7 (38:43):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (38:44):
I'll be if you go up to coach at gym
and you ask them, You're like, hey, coach, what's up?
They say football like life to him.

Speaker 7 (38:54):
All their whole.

Speaker 5 (38:55):
Family likes it's about football, and I respect that. I
respect it. They're about winning. They take winning series and
at the same time their player coaches Like I love
both of them. Jim Harborough my current head coach. Coming
out of high school, that was my very first offer.
He was at Stanford. I went to a full contact

(39:15):
cap because I didn't do none of the seven on
sevens and shorts. Back then, if it wasn't a full
contact camp, I wasn't going like that's how I wanted
to go.

Speaker 7 (39:24):
Hear something, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (39:26):
And me and me.

Speaker 5 (39:27):
And me and Marbo. We connected that way because he
felt the way I played like. We've always just been
fans with each other. So I think they're both similar
personality wise. I think I always say John's mare a
little like this a lot more and Jim's more like this,
So you know that's that's really the difference between him.

Speaker 8 (39:48):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (39:48):
I'm looking at your last four games.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
Yeah, you're at the Chiefs this week in in Kansas City,
then you go to Cowboys at Dallas. Then you get
the Texans and you know what their defense represents. And
then the for the division. This might be for the division,
the Broncos at home, you got the gone you guys,
basically you win this division.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
You would have earned them.

Speaker 7 (40:10):
Yeah, yeah, no doubt, no doubt about it.

Speaker 5 (40:13):
Obviously this weekend, like we know we're gonna get the
best the Chiefs. We we are not full you know, yeah,
we understand you know, the their season up and down.

Speaker 7 (40:25):
I was born.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
You can deal it. You can deal to death blow.
You can deal the death pay.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
You can do something that nobody has ever been able
to do since Mahme has been well, they had the
last time they didn't make the playoffs and god knows when,
but they've been to the AMC Championship every year that
Mahome's been a startup. Now only can you not make
sure that you can make sure they don't even make
the playoffs. There is no chance for them to get
to the AMC Championship game. A lot of teams accounting
on you, Tony to deal that death blow.

Speaker 5 (40:52):
We know, but we know we're gonna get their best shot,
So you will you uh, you know. Then we go
to Dallas and then we're at home.

Speaker 7 (41:03):
It's the Texas.

Speaker 1 (41:04):
We need.

Speaker 7 (41:04):
We need that get back. We don't happen last year
in the playoffs.

Speaker 5 (41:08):
Ready for that one too, but uh yeah, we're ready.

Speaker 7 (41:12):
We're ready. We're living on our cross.

Speaker 5 (41:13):
We're ready to go. Play like we're motivated. We're playing
good ball right now. I just got to keep it rolling.

Speaker 3 (41:19):
Yeah, you guys are playing good ball on both sides
of the ball. Obviously, your quarterback just has to be
consistent going and going on the back end of the season,
going to the playoffs, you have a superb chance to
win the division and then probably the division game is
going to be based on that last game against the Broncos.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
And how will you guys play and do and ship?

Speaker 3 (41:39):
Man, y'all boys balling, Man, y'all, y'all boys balling. I
get a joey out of watching you guys play, uh,
not even offensively, seeing what you guys do defensively. You know,
I'm even though I was a receiver, I am. I'm
a huge fan of back back in play safety DBS
and just understanding and knowing what I'm watching and what
you guys are doing and what everybody's response ability is.

Speaker 4 (42:00):
So it's been enjoyed to watch all y'all.

Speaker 7 (42:02):
Boys appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
H Yeah, y'all got y'all got y'all inside backers. They're
a little undersized, but boy they side, they say, and
the impairment And we know what Khalil Mack is. Khalil Mack.
If you need him to set the edge, you can
set the edge. You want him to bull, he can bull.
You want him to rip, you want him arm over,
arm under, he can do all that. What's forty five.

Speaker 1 (42:24):
What's that? What's that? Here's some more on the other side.
Yeah to hey.

Speaker 5 (42:30):
To gangster bro. If I'm in a bar fight, I
want to I want to with me.

Speaker 7 (42:43):
Yeah bad.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
Well, Hey, Tony, congratulations man on everything. Hey, you made
the right decision, because here's the thing. You're gonna have
other opportunities to be a scout. You don't get another
whole lot of opportunities. I mean, you're not gonna get
that Philip Rivers treatment. You're not finna get for it.
They gonna call your ass to come play safety, Okay,
So you make sure you get all of that out

(43:04):
of your system because you're never gonna find another job
to replace what it's like to have that camaraderie in
the locker room, on the plane, on the bus, on
the practice field. So you make sure this time you
get all of that out of your system because you
might not get might not be as fortunate to get
that call back to come back and play it again.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
Man.

Speaker 2 (43:25):
But congratulations on having a great season. Stay healthy, and
we look forward to talking to you down the road.

Speaker 3 (43:30):
A at at, do me a fake a team, do
me a favor? Hey, do me tell tell Quinn Johnston
tell him. I say, keep that ship going, finish the
season off strong man, keep that ship going, man, and
keep that confidence.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
Look all right, appreciate the man. Thanks yo oh, Joe.

Speaker 2 (43:51):
Doesn't come as a surprise, because I told you this
was gonna happen. To tell some types from Sideline reporter
Will Bowling has been removed from the team's charter flights
going forward. Bowling shared something that he witnessed on the
plane ride of a trip home from Cleveland after week fourteen.
Bowling addressed the situation during his daily radio show and
apologize for relay in the story and that has now

(44:15):
understands he should have been considered off the record.

Speaker 1 (44:19):
Yes, everything that you.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
If they're not if they're not speaking directly to you,
it's off the record.

Speaker 1 (44:26):
You don't get to go. You don't get to go
on the team plane.

Speaker 2 (44:30):
Do you know how many reporters have seen things on
the team fight plane?

Speaker 1 (44:34):
Or who's laid or who's.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
Maybe they've been a fight, maybe they've been some some
some things that shouldn't have been going on because back
then we used to have the little portable DVDs, and
guys be watching things they should be watching. Hey, guys
be drinking and things of that nature. You keep your
mouth shut. He gotta learn the hard way. Now you

(44:56):
got to fly, find your all the way to the city.
And guy's gonna be like, man, we can't trust old boy.

Speaker 1 (45:02):
Old boy.

Speaker 5 (45:02):
Go.

Speaker 3 (45:03):
They're gonna be like, yeah, hey, listen, they for one,
you've given an opportunity to to to to have access,
to be around, to to be on those charter flights.
And you can't just take everything you see and try
to use it to use it to your advantage.

Speaker 4 (45:19):
And yes, and you and make it a story.

Speaker 3 (45:22):
Now now you now you're outside, you know, outside the window,
looking peeking through the blinds.

Speaker 1 (45:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (45:27):
Now I'm not even sure whether he I mean for
years going forward where they probably where they where they
probably not.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
He probably won't be allowed on. He probably will not
be allowed back on the plane.

Speaker 3 (45:36):
Now now you're done messed up. You don't mess up.
You don't messed up a good opportunity just to have
a story.

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Yes everything, Oh te I give you prime example. I remember,
uh Peyton Manning's first year, Yeah, first year in Denver. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
Uh, we're doing a story and I'm watch him practice. Yeah,
he hadn't had this all year he's throwing with a glove. Yeah,
oh it's cold, but remember he had that nerve damage.
But proud of that, he had been throwing bare handed. Right,

(46:14):
I see him, he's practicing with a glove. I see
all these gloves in his locker. It would have been
nothing for me to take a pair. He got twenty
of them in his locker. Right, put him in my
bag and says, guys, this is what Peyton mann is
gonna be throwing the football with today.

Speaker 1 (46:33):
It did have been a great story.

Speaker 2 (46:34):
Shannam breaks news Peyton Manning, and sure enough he comes
out there throwing like, oh nah, bro, everything.

Speaker 1 (46:41):
Ain't meant ain't meant to be said? Yeah, yeah everything.

Speaker 2 (46:44):
Plus that is my team, and so they trust me.
I got free raid, Oh Joe, I go anywhere I
want to I know the cold.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
I punched the cold. Hey, they don't let me in.
I punched the cold and go in right where I
want to go.

Speaker 2 (46:56):
I go upstairs. I go to mister Bowling's office. I
go walking around. I'm in coaches. I mean, I go
to John Fox and.

Speaker 4 (47:01):
I go to job.

Speaker 3 (47:02):
I go everywhere I see, so so we the same
with the access you have and in in Denver is
the same way I am down there in Cincinnati. And
the funny thing about it, you know, I think while
we have that access the way you do, and and
and for me it's always arms are always open and
welcome because I don't take advantage of it.

Speaker 1 (47:20):
Huh.

Speaker 4 (47:20):
I only go there maybe twice a year. Maybe twice
a year.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
You know that that that's it.

Speaker 4 (47:24):
And I think if think, I think, if.

Speaker 3 (47:27):
Knowing the access that I do have and the love
that they do show in that stadium where I can
go from top to bottom and I can go anywhere
I want anywhere, if I did it all of goddamn time,
they'd be like, all right, now, come on.

Speaker 1 (47:41):
I used to be able to do that. I don't
have that access anymore now. Oh no, I don't know.
I don't go back.

Speaker 2 (47:47):
They they invite me back for lumn things and uh
uh uh the broad you know, the Super Bowl teams
and stuff like that. When guys get to go to
the Ring effect go to the Ring of Honor. I
haven't been back. I have a great relationship. I met
the Waltons, I met Dependers, I met all of them.
They were great to me, had a great conversation, but

(48:08):
I don't know them like I knew mister Bowling, you
know them. You know, maybe I take some time and
I go back and and you know, sit down and
have a conversation with him.

Speaker 8 (48:17):
Right.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
But I'm like you, I'm never gonna wear my welcome.

Speaker 2 (48:21):
Even though I had the access that I had, I
didn't go back and take advantage of it.

Speaker 6 (48:25):
You know, I.

Speaker 1 (48:28):
Would go back when they invited me. Ye, when it
came time for the Super Bowl, you best believe, yeah,
you were there.

Speaker 4 (48:33):
Yeah, so hey, listen, you know I'm excited. You know,
I'm excited.

Speaker 3 (48:37):
So Obviously, most of the time I was doing one
year since since I retired, one game of year.

Speaker 4 (48:42):
I always made it, made it.

Speaker 3 (48:43):
Out to one game year. This would be the first
year since I retired. And what was that, I mean,
since they left there, since I left yet where I'm
going to a second game. I'm going to a second game. Obviously,
I'm not counting the Ravens game. I'm not counting the
Ravens game, you know, Thursday night on Thanksgiving. But this Sunday,
I'm going back. I'm going back for the Ravens game.

(49:05):
And I mean it's just just what what the warmth
and the welcome and the grace that they've shown me
when I am no longer any value to you.

Speaker 4 (49:17):
I'm no longer any value to you, and they still
treat me that that.

Speaker 3 (49:20):
Whether it be the fans, whether it be ownership Zach Taylor,
whether it be the players with open arms.

Speaker 4 (49:25):
It's like, I'm and the fact that they still treat
you like that when you're lo longer of any value.
I'm not on the payroll. I'm not on the payroll.

Speaker 1 (49:35):
I think I think the fans appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (49:37):
Fans fans know who the guys that really cared, that
played their ass off, that gave everything they possibly had,
left nothing on the field, and when they left, they're like,
you know what, we got everything had. We ain't never
had to worry about eighty four because we know A
would go give it to us.

Speaker 1 (49:53):
Yes, sir. It became difficult on Sho because I worked.
I worked that.

Speaker 2 (49:56):
I worked at CBS for a decade. So how get
I'm in New York? How am I gonna get back?
They I went back when they put me into the
Ring of Fame in two thousand and nine. I went
back again in twenty eleven when they put me I
got my receiving my ring for the Hall of Fame,
but it was hard for me to get back because
I'm working.

Speaker 1 (50:15):
I can't.

Speaker 2 (50:15):
Hey, you know what, you know, the Broncos really wanted
me to come back. Now I can't miswork like that.
And then I started working at at Fox Undisputed for
several years and it was hard, and I went back.

Speaker 1 (50:26):
I think I went back once.

Speaker 2 (50:28):
But it's really hard, oh Joe, to go back when
I got to watch all these games and I'm at
one game even though you know they got it on it,
you know, Mr B like, oh, you know, shaying Sharpe,
what game you want to watch?

Speaker 1 (50:39):
And I was like, don't worry about the mster B.
So it's really hard. I can't. It's hard for me
to talk about something, O Joe, if I don't see
it right.

Speaker 2 (50:49):
I need to see it so I can tell you
the intricacies of what actually happened, the design of the
player to make up the defense, X, Y and Z.

Speaker 1 (50:57):
So that's real.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
That's really the main reason, really A ten events with
other events are going on because I need to be
able to tell you what actually happened, like oh but.

Speaker 3 (51:09):
But and speaking of being able to tell you what
actually is going to happen. I'm gona I'm gonna tell
you your Ravens is gonna lose again.

Speaker 1 (51:17):
Ah, there you go.

Speaker 3 (51:18):
I'm just I'm just saying every game I'm in attendance
till you do understand.

Speaker 1 (51:22):
I went to the.

Speaker 4 (51:23):
Thursday night game, Joe Burrow's first game back.

Speaker 3 (51:26):
You see what happened. You see what happened, right and this,
I got another. I got your raveis, I got your
I got your boy. You know your Ravens fan. I
got Butter. I'm not I'm not sure if you've seen
some of the clips when that that Butter makes some
time I happen listen Butter stayed away in Seattle. I
dodn't got Butter ticket, right, I didn't got Butter ticket.
I'm talk about he a huge Ravens fan. He flying tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (51:47):
Okay, he's flying. Yeah, he's flying the Cincinnati tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (51:50):
I'ma I'm gonna meet him out there Friday evening UK
and I'm allow him to see greatness in person.

Speaker 4 (51:55):
I wanted I want him to see greatness in person.

Speaker 3 (51:57):
I want I want him to be able to I
want him to be because he streams and increased content.
I want his content to be authentic and organic.

Speaker 4 (52:05):
And I want him right there.

Speaker 3 (52:06):
I want I want him right there front and center,
you know, watching the Ravens lose, you know, and and
I want him to cry. I want I want him
to cry so we can see. I don't you know,
you know one thing about it. It's very hard for
me to talk about people. It's very difficult for me.
I can be I can be critical from critique players,
but I wanted to see seventy seven person. I want

(52:30):
I want him to see seventy seven in person, and
to see why Lamar is gonna be frustrated, why he's
gonna get sacked, why he's gonna be running for his life,
and the Bengals are coming away with another win and
one step closer to winning the AFC North that hasn't
gone in our favor all season long.

Speaker 1 (52:48):
Yeah, but for this gentleman o Ko, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (52:51):
He's gotta be young, because no veteran reporter would ever
do something like this.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
You think you think he's young, he gotta be young.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
I mean, I'm not saying he I'm not maybe an
age wise, but it'd be interesting to know how long
he's been in this capacity doing this job. That's that's understood.
Oh Joe, we got we got women on the plane.
I mean we have women reporters. Lynn the Brewin rest
her soul. Le Lenn was great. She was great. She
would always come to me. I was like, Le, do

(53:22):
you not have She's like, Butchelle, and you're gonna give
it to me straight. I know, but somebody else might
give it to you straight too. You don't want to
get it from them. But she was she was always.
She was always great, and we were always respectful and
I made sure guys were respectful of her, especially women.
Uh saved steel. Her first job was with the rape,
you know, as a reporter was with the rape right

(53:44):
and all that that, you know, stuff that you know,
she's obviously she's attractive. No, boy, we're not finna do that.
That led her, Finn to do her job, and we're
gonna allow her to do her job and we're going
to be professional. Yeah, that's what we're gonna do. She'll
tell you ask her, she'll tell you gonna be professional.
That's not the way we do things, right. But on

(54:05):
the plane, Oh Joe, you're like, look, we did we gamble.
We played card for money, and then you know, obviously
they got to go to the bathroom one shoe. They
couldn't go in the first class because that's where the
coaches were, so they had to come by and we
move out the way, and Mike can say, eighty four,
can we not gamble on the plane? You know, hey,
y'all get to the room, have bad it. You play
your card, you know, play cards, roll your dice, but

(54:27):
can we not?

Speaker 1 (54:27):
Okay? Done now?

Speaker 2 (54:30):
The only thing that I really got I don't really
get mad at mad. Animals get mad, humans get upset.
I don't really get upset because Mike was like, Mike
was like obviously he let the vents handle the stuff,
and we did a great job. I think the committee,
the community, the committee that was in charge, jo Joe.
I thought we did a very good job of dealing

(54:50):
with stuff before it got big enough to eat that
Mike would have to intervene. Right, Mike said it was
brought to his attention, And I know who told him.
The flight attendants did. Oh Joe, you remember them the
portable dv chat. I know, y'all remember the portable DVDs.

Speaker 4 (55:06):
Yeah, the bigger it was kind of big a little bit. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Hey,
what y'all were watching?

Speaker 1 (55:15):
What y'all were watching?

Speaker 2 (55:16):
They know y'all first of all, I had one, But man,
y'all know my personality. I'm gonna be joning on the plane.
I'm gonna be talking about what you wore, what you
wore on the play and how that's good and terrible,
and I'm gonna tell your ass up once we get
on the second team bus. So you make sure you
get nah nah. Man, everybody want to go and Bust
one if they got on some bull drive, they want

(55:37):
to go on Bust one because that's.

Speaker 1 (55:38):
The bus mic on. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
Yeah, they know we're not gonna we can We can't
get get your ass on bus two. Man, Sean, what
bust you on? Get no bus two? Mike asked it. Look, guys,
it's been brought down, been brought to my attention. Guys
are watching stuff that you shouldn't be watching, like what
what they can't watch on?

Speaker 1 (55:55):
Man?

Speaker 2 (55:56):
Them gonna be watching spansion in the hotel. We call
it spans real vision.

Speaker 4 (56:00):
Spanks your vision? Yeah, what the hell is that?

Speaker 1 (56:05):
Chad?

Speaker 4 (56:05):
Tell o, Yo, what uh Ain't nobody spanks your vision?
What that that never heard of?

Speaker 7 (56:11):
That?

Speaker 2 (56:12):
That's where you're watching. Then the more dirty movies.

Speaker 4 (56:15):
Oh you're talking about like Debbie Duns Dallas.

Speaker 1 (56:18):
Yeah, yeah, okay, okay, okay, but oh Joe, no, but
oh Joe.

Speaker 2 (56:23):
The fire attendants coming giving you food and walking up
and down, ask you if you want any thing to drink.

Speaker 1 (56:28):
They walk about pushing the cart.

Speaker 2 (56:29):
They see that.

Speaker 4 (56:31):
Oh okay, okay, okay, See they got their eyes in
the wrong place. They need to mind it.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
Look here, you know, you walking up and that. It's
just like you walking up and down. You go to
the bathroom and somebody with somebody feeling out their thing.

Speaker 1 (56:43):
You you go, see it.

Speaker 2 (56:44):
It's just the way they ain't nobody walking straight ahead.
You're not looking to your left, you're not looking to
your right, you're.

Speaker 1 (56:49):
Walking yeah, yeah right.

Speaker 2 (56:52):
Mike said, look, guys, I don't try to tell you
guys what to do. You've grown me in, but let's
not do this.

Speaker 4 (57:00):
Yeah, you right, you're right, you're right, you're right, you're right.

Speaker 1 (57:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (57:04):
They that a them boy watching that thing when they're
playing I'm coming back Home.

Speaker 2 (57:08):
Man, I slammed that thing. I slammed somebody. I think
I broke it. I said to see, because here's the thing.
Oh your way, I look at it. You know how
coach it is. Somebody jump off side. We all got
to run.

Speaker 1 (57:21):
I ain't even do nothing. As a matter of fact,
I wasn't even in right. So we gotta run.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
So if that gets out again, what might's gonna do?
Might gonna punish everybody. Nah, you not fitna mess it
up because you can't control your behavior. Nah, that's not
gonna happen. So that's where you know, man, Bro the
man told you, I mean, think about it.

Speaker 1 (57:43):
We get what we want.

Speaker 2 (57:44):
We get free, we get free, we get free movies.
Everybody got a free movie. Whatever you want to watch,
I watch, I mean me and birds. I watched Player Club.
I bet you I watched Players Club twenty five thirty times.

Speaker 4 (57:58):
To your man, but Burnhi Mack was a fooling Bro,
I just did.

Speaker 2 (58:02):
I just didn't want guys to mess it up one
person for two people, to mess it up for fifty.
So you know, sometimes you have to, like, Bro, come on,
now you have to you know. But on the plane, Bro,
you can't talk about you can't as a reporter.

Speaker 4 (58:18):
Yeah, you're right, you right.

Speaker 1 (58:21):
Even me now, knowing what I know.

Speaker 7 (58:23):
I know.

Speaker 1 (58:23):
Look, I make calls here and there. I just let
it go. I just let it go with you. I
don't say nothing.

Speaker 2 (58:32):
I know a lot of things that have transpired, be
an NBA, be an NFL.

Speaker 1 (58:38):
That what I do. I just let people think. I'll
just be talking out.

Speaker 4 (58:40):
My yeah and don't and don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 2 (58:45):
But guess who know what I'm talking about, The people
that I'm talking about. Yeah, that's who know what I'm
talking about.
