Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, guys, we're gonna get back to football in
just the second. We got a very very special guest
joining us. We got world champ and one hundred and
ten meters hurdles harrys Cortezy Cordell tense.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Damn what it do?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Go ahead?

Speaker 4 (00:15):
How you doing?

Speaker 5 (00:15):
Mat?

Speaker 1 (00:16):
I bet I'm doing amazing. Congratulations, Thank you, Rob, You
got an incredible story.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
You went.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
You set the NCAA record twelve ninety six running.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Everything's going well. Pandemic hit you.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Step away for an extended period of time, come back
and we have Melissa Jefferson on. I said, I'm taking
Cordial tens You heard it. I said, I'm taking Cordio
tens win. I said, he's been the most consistent hurdler
all year. He's the only one that's been low thirteen
all year. He's the only one that's dipped under thirteen

(00:56):
all year. Why did you step away? And what gave
you the confidence to come back and say, you know what,
I'm not done with this sport yet.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
I could do something special.

Speaker 5 (01:07):
So it starts with like, So I graduated high school
in twenty eighteen, I was I ran for my I
practiced sep Minnesota. They ran for the University of Kansas,
and then it was just kind of the way COVID was.
I didn't run as fast as I did now, but
like I ran well, I was a big twelve champ,
but it just didn't feel right for me yet. So

(01:29):
I was like when the pandemic hit, it was kind
of an excuse of like, oh, you know, darn, I
can't I can't compete. So I just stayed at home,
went back to Green Bay, stayed here. And everybody that's
been around me, that's interacted with me, is always believed that,
like I was destined for something like this, and I
never saw it for a very long time. So coming
home and just like resettling and you know, finding myself,

(01:52):
that was really what I needed to come back to
school in twenty twenty three and then have an amazing
six months. You set the collegiate record, you go pro,
you signed with your dream, your dream brand, some you
wear every day now you get.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Paid to wear it.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
And then now to fast forward a year and a
half after that or two years and be the world champ.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Like it's it's been crazy.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
It's been amazing, and I'm thankful for it all.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Hey, has it Has it set in yet that you're
the world champ? Hasn't really yet?

Speaker 3 (02:26):
It did a little bit this weekend.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
I got to celebrate with my guys being back in
Green Bay, so being around my people, it most definitely did.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
It settled in a lot.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
When I got home to Green Bay and I gave
my mom my medal and she put it.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
On, That's when it really set in.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
I was like, damn, we did it all, all the
all the sacrifices, all the things of growing up and
even growing up as an adult. Seeing my mom with
my medal is really what?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
What's set it in for me?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:53):
So what's next? After obviously winning a goal? What's next?
I mean, obviously being a track runner, you want to
win goal, But what goal do you set next after
having an achievement of that magnitude?

Speaker 3 (03:08):
We coming into this.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Year, the goal was I wanted to be the best
hurdler in the world, whether that been I ran very
fast all year or you know, I have the medal,
which I did both. So that was the goals coming
into this year. Going in the next year, we'll look at,
you know, the whole year. The first goal is always
to be healthy, That's always the goal in track, got
to make you do the whole season healthy.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
It's a long season.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
I mean, in reality, I just had a year long
season basically because I.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Started last November and we just got done last month.
So yeah, so it's the goal is always to get
to be.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
Healthy the whole time through. But you know, go in
and you know, defend what I earned this year. That's
going to be the main goal for sure. I'll have
to look into the rest of it of how fast
I want to run and what goals like that, But
got gotta go defend.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
It, you know. You know, Cordyll, Look when it comes
to hurdling. You know America, we had Roger Kingdom eighty eight,
and we had Alan Johnson South Carolina game call, you
had Jason Richardson, you have a rees merrit you have
I mean you when it comes to me, we are
hurling capital. Now we had die Ron Rowlans from Cuba.

(04:13):
He stubbing and won a goal. And you have Lushan
of China win a goal. But you know, but you know,
and everybody's been tracing that. Twelve eighty yeah, now Grant
great got close twelve eighty one.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
I say, it's just amount of time.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Now, as I look at you with the flat speed
that you have, I think you might be the best
chance to get dip on the twelve eighty.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
You see.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
That's obviously that's always the goal, is w you wanna
run for one medals, but you also want to run to.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Your on time.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Yeah, but I've heard that a lot is people.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
Obviously Grant is amazing at what he does, and people
believed for the longest, and you know now people are
looking at it even though he.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Had a down year. Everybody has it down year. You
can't be at the top of the mountain forever.

Speaker 5 (05:01):
But they are acting as if like he doesn't still
have the chance. But I think that the best chance
currently for any hurdler is me and Grant have to
be in the same.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Race, right, Okay that I know he we head out,
you're gonna come try to come get h.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Yes, Like I think that we have to be in
the same race because I know he gets out well
and I know that over the first five it's really
tough to beat him, as you know, indoor hurdle races
show it. But on the back half of it, I
don't think that there's very many people that have the
same back half of the race that I do.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
So in order for.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
Us to see a twelve a twelve seven, I think
that both Grant and I have to both be at
that race, both be competing with lots of money on
the line.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
But I think that that's what it comes down to.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
But when you when you when you look at it,
it's amazing because you know going into the race, Grant
is gonna put you onto the gun. You know he's
gonna get He's the best starter in hurdle history. So
you know, like you said, the first five, I'm under
the gun. How are you able to remain composed because
a lot of times talking to hurdless, they start to press.

(06:09):
Now you start to hit hurdles and now you get
off cadence and now it's over for me.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
It's always been even I think that it was right
after I had won Big twelves, way back before I
was even running this fast.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
I had told I think it was my the KU hurdle.

Speaker 5 (06:26):
Coach at the time shout out coach Brewer she I
had told her I was like, if I just could
get it into the same race as Grant and Daniel,
because those are the two top hurdles of college. I said,
if I could be that race, I think that my
time will improve significantly just because.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Of what's there those guys are, yes, just because of.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
What their strengths are and what mine are.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
And so I've kind of had the mindset for the
longest of I'm gonna always run my own race. I
can't worry about what happens in lane's X Y Z
because hurdleing you can't look left and right. You don't
got enough time in between the hurdles to see them.
You have to be focused. So I've like had the
mindset of as long as I focus on my race,
I don't think anybody could beat me. But it didn't

(07:07):
work out that way until like this year, but you
know it worked.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
How How do how does when guys are around you,
Like you said, I'm focusing on my race, but you know,
guys next to you, they crash and they hitting every
damn hurdle.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
You're like, damn, can y'all get over the hurdle clean.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
It's only happened a few times where like I've noticed it.
I don't know if it's a b thing. I haven't
really talked to other hurdlers about it. But from when
we here set and the gun goes off, I really
just go into autopilot, like my body, I'm just out.
And then the race is over and I'm looking at
the board to see what the time is.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
And I get asked like after the race, like, oh,
how did this feel?

Speaker 5 (07:44):
And it's like I have to watch it and see
what it looked like because I don't really have a
feel for it. It's it's always been weird, but I
don't know if it's just the me thing or if
that's other hurdlers.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
You know, I have another question with you, especially when
it comes to racing, whether whether it's where's the hurdle,
whether it's the hurdles, or whether it's anything open one hundred,
two hundred, four hundred. There's always a strategy that goes
into every race. You know your strengths, you know your weaknesses.
Is there any way when you're already elite at a
certain sport, like like like you are right now, is
there a way you can make your your week your

(08:19):
weak point when it comes to the hurdles, your strong
point to where if you're already great on the back
half of the race, how how close can you get
to making the start of the race just as strong as.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
It's a crazy song and dance that we that we
got to do.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
Because the thing is people are always like, oh, well,
if Cordell had Grants start, he would be the best hurdler.
Or if Grant head Cordell's finished, you'd be the best hurdler.
But it's like, it's tough because if I have Grants
start now, it's not possible to have the same finish
because of how fast you're moving by hurdle five right, Like,
it's not possible where if I can get I can

(08:54):
be the last one out the blocks, the last. There's
a bunch of pictures this year of like photographers taking
a picture off the first hurdle. Everybody's in the year
except Cordell. But I won the rift like it's it's
it's it's song and dance. So it's a matter of
finding how fast you can be early so that you
can be controlled and fast and clean through the middle
to be able to maintain it throughout the back half

(09:16):
or the back quarter and be able to get across
the line and finish well. So it's tough, but it's
something that you know, we're learning, and we kind of
figured it out this year.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
There's some races where I.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Was the first one off the first hurdle, and there's
other ones where I wasn't. But for most of the
races this year, it didn't really matter if I was
in the race.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
I was winning also, But go ahead, you want to
go ahead, don't yo?

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Yeah, I'm gonna ask how hard is it to gauge
the always had that same consistent start and hit every
hurdle and had the same amount of steps every single time.
That is that hard to do?

Speaker 5 (09:47):
As far as the start, it's I found myself a
few times this year where I over pushed. Therefore I
had to shorten up because I would have damn near
been six first hurdle. Then I'm wrong leg hole race.
So there's things like that that you got to make
sure you do it. But you got to make sure
every time you're foot hitting the ground that you're that

(10:09):
you're transitioning that power from the ground up through to
push yourself forward.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
It's there's a lot, there's a lot of it.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
Look, we've seen reports of Grand Slam track having on
financial issue issues and you ran this season and they
say they are going to pay some of the some
of the.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
Check.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
My check clear, Okay, my check clear.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
So you good?

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Fantastic?

Speaker 1 (10:39):
I read where you initially, Uh did you get on foot?
Did you get a football scholarship at Minnesota?

Speaker 3 (10:46):
So?

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Uh you wide receiver? All written all over you?

Speaker 4 (10:50):
I do.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
I was that was a really good one.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
But I went to I had going throughout high school.
I had always wanted to play football, like my dad
had told me. I still don't believe that it's true,
but he said. He came home from where he used
to work swinging shift. He came home at six o'clock
or seven o'clock, and I was watching the Sunday night
game this close to the screen, but my head was

(11:16):
going like this, and he was like, well, what are
you doing? And my answer at like eight was I
can see the game better this way. I was like,
but I've always looked at football so much different, Like
I love football to death is definitely I mean, obviously
track is my life, but football is definitely still my
favorite sport. I just look at it different, Like I

(11:36):
can't watch football games with other people because I don't
watch it as a fan. I watch it critiquing wide
receivers critiquing the aligned and people don't want to be
around it. They're like, bro, shut up, we just it
was a fifty yard play And I'm like, yeah, but
it could have been a touchdown. If therefore, I just
have to watch games alone.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
From what made you prior times track over football because
you can make a lot more money in football than track.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
Cordell, Absolutely, you really can't.

Speaker 6 (12:02):
Hold on, wait a minute, and before you even answer,
you still can you can still make that a dream?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Oh yeah, for sure. Most of the door.

Speaker 3 (12:10):
The door to football has never closed for me.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Right.

Speaker 5 (12:14):
The real difference was I think it was just like
my mindset out of high school was we barely threw
the ball and it was like I'm killing, I'm chilling,
and we barely throw the ball, So just throw the
ball more and we'll beat everybody.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
But obviously when you're young, I didn't have that. I
didn't have that attitude.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
Yeah, Like if it was me now, I would have
we would we would have to do something about it.
But it was just that And I was like, I
didn't ran perfect routes all day, been wide open. I
got overthrown, I got underthrown, quarterback got hit and I
was like, I need to be somewhere where if I
do perfect by me, can't nobody tell me they beat
me because I did what I was supposed to. So

(12:53):
that's the competition in track that I really love is
if I go out and have a perfect race, I
don't think anybody on the planet can beat me, and
that it shows that way when when you're regardless of
what event you're doing, if you have the perfect jump,
perfect throw, perfect anything in track, the numbers will show
it and that you'll always have that showing. So that
was why I really kind of fell into track and

(13:15):
really fell in love with it even more.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
And now that you mentioned it, I love the confidence.
I love the confidence you had. You're You're similar to
me in a sense when it comes to playing football.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
If I put the work in during the week on Sundays,
nobody can be able to stop me.

Speaker 6 (13:27):
Now we were talking about hurdles. Now, see I was
I was a state champion hurdler too. I was a
state champion hurdle and I want to know if we
were to race, like my best time was twelve eighty seven.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Twelve as we was a race, if we was a
line up right now, while you're still in shape, so
there would be no excuses you think you could take me.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Oh true, I'm gonna be honest.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
Talk to me. Wait, talk to me nice though, but
talk to me.

Speaker 5 (13:52):
There's nobody on the earth, in my opinion, right right,
yourself that can beat me.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
And they hurdle race that.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
You let it. You, uh, Cordell, you can let him.
You can let him jump the women's hurdle and you
still gonna beat it.

Speaker 3 (14:07):
See, oh tell, we can do that. We can do that. Well,
you can have you can have a hunt. You can
do the hundred hurdles.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
As a matter of fact, Cornell, you beat it. You
run the hurdles, he run the flat hundred and you
still beat it.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
Okay, not not not that he's gonna lose. Now I
run nine seven. Now now you ain't gonna beat me.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Now you nine seven?

Speaker 1 (14:24):
I got money on cordionn right now.

Speaker 5 (14:28):
Yeah, all right, So obviously y'all y'all talk to my
agent already, so we can you can, y'all can talk
to them.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
You have your people, talk to my people and we'll
figure it out.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
Okay. See, this is great content that we can create.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Absolutely.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
I mean, if you wait, if you wait for me, though,
if you were to run a flat hundred, what do
you think you think you can get low ten?

Speaker 5 (14:49):
I mean I ran ten three this year, Okay, but
I think that just the way I run, I have
a better chance to run. I have a better chance
to run twenty point zero or nineteen ninety in the
two hundred than I do in the.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Run because of your strength the way.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
The way I run, because I used to run on
fifties with some of the best. I mean, they're my
boys are all over the country now. So we used
to run on fifties and the right there with the
last thirty, Yeah, I was, I was coming.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
It was a freight train coming.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
So but here's the thing you said that in order
for that race, when we have Melissa on we're talking,
I thought the time would be fast.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Considering who was in the race.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
You had Shelley, and you got Shrika, you got to Lou,
you got Alfred, you got Tiya, you got your carriage,
so you got you know, to Loose. You got all
of those people. So now, okay, we got the people
that's gonna push. What are the conditions gonna be? She
gets a favorable win she's going to sub ten six.

Speaker 5 (15:59):
I said after, I think it was at pre when
I saw Melissa Rudd and I saw no, it was
at Usas when I think she ran ten six there
or ten seventh, one of those two. I said, I've
never seen the ten six or ten seven, whichever one
it was. I was like, I've never seen that in person.
That was might be the craziest thing I've ever seen.
I can see her running ten five. I can see

(16:22):
her running.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
It's got to be right. It's got to be the
right people in the race, yes, and it's got to
be the right.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Condition she needs. She needs like a plus one plus
one five.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Yeah, I mean she ran well in the headwinds. She
just might need a track.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
If you go back and look at when when Elaine
Thompson Harrow when she ran that, when she ran what
she run ten fifty four. Yes, she had perfect conditions
and she had the people in the race. You've got
to have the people in the race, and there has
to be a certain level of fear exactly. You go
back and look at see it, see it New Poulino,

(17:00):
marily To Polino.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
She got endurance. She knew NASA was gonna get out.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Bobby probably told her, I want you to a attach
yourself to NASA. You'll pull you to Polino, and then
the one hundred, the last hundred, you got the strength
to bring it home. And that's exactly what she did.
She let Nasa pull it the Polino and when she
came out of the bend where one hundred go, I said, Okay,
who's the strongest.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
So to see that, because I don't know if you
were in the stadium and you watching it at home,
what was it like? You get two they had only
been for the last forty for the first time. Else
there's only been two women to ever go sub forty eight.
We have two in the exact same race. And then
when you go back and look at it, I think
NASA ran like what forty eight twenty six.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Which is well top ten times all time.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
So you have two women go under forty eight in
the same race and a forty eight twenty six and
I think the slowest time was sub fifty.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
That's crazy.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
I mean, I just like watching it.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
It was I mean, being American but also being a
realist as a track athlete. If SID says she want
to do something, if SID had the nerve to say
she's gonna run the one Tess next year. I'm not
saying I'm nervous, but but.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
But Kombuchi and Russell, it starts. She just she can win.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
That does whatever she wants on the track. It's insane.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
So if whatever she says she want to go do,
I don't put it past her. And that's why I
think I really think that she's gonna double in LA.
That's just my guess is looking.

Speaker 1 (18:41):
At what what what is there? I think she really
wants to get she wants to go sup. She knows
if she goes sub fifty and the hurdles her her grandkids,
her grandkids kids might see that because to run that
kind of time. So because you think about it, she

(19:04):
ran fifty thirty seven and she wasn't near what she
is right now in the open four with that now
she can She definitely could do it. So if I'm
filing Cabo, I send the flowers every month, thank you
for not running, thank you for not being in the
four hundred hurdles, appreciate that she never gonna beat her never.

Speaker 5 (19:28):
I Initially I was like, I think this she had
a chance, and then I started like when I first
came back to track so in twenty twenty three, and
then I was like, maybe she has a chance, but
it was more of like a you know, you never know,
sometimes somebody get the right race.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
And then I started watching City run more and more
and more, and I was.

Speaker 5 (19:44):
Like, yeah, Feks even said it. She's like, you know,
when she's here, I know I'm getting second.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
I'm like yes, Cause like it's like Boat in his prime.
You know that global meats wasn't nobody beating Boat. It
didn't matter when he was in his prime. From Beijing,
Thrio at at at a global, a World championship, you
have a little diamond league meets.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
Yeah he come, Yeah, you get beat him.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
At a global meet, the World Championship or the Olympics,
You'll getting the silver, who getting the bronze? That's what
see it is. But she's so far ahead. I mean,
is it even fun when you go into a race
and you know you're gonna win by three seconds?

Speaker 2 (20:25):
That ain't no fun?

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Hey, hey, whoa she for me?

Speaker 4 (20:28):
She?

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (20:29):
If I was in a hurdle race and I knew
I was gonna win by three seconds, yeah that's gonna
be fun.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
But then again it is on league. Look, that's that's
ten seconds. I'm running ten on it. I'm running ten
on hurds.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Yeah, but I'm saying, but I'm saying, she running the four. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
If you just say, if you know you gonna run,
you're gonna run. You're gonna run thirteen. But everybody else
gonna be thirteen three, thirteen four, not even no fun, Cordeon,
you want to challenge.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
It depends on where you are.

Speaker 5 (20:53):
If it's at like a Global final, which is where
Sydney b putting, where that that gap shows up.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
I get it at the Mother Meets, you know sometimes
you know.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
Folks, do.

Speaker 3 (21:05):
You show up?

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Man?

Speaker 1 (21:10):
Cordell, Thanks for joining us tonight, man, congratulations continue success.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
So we're gonna see you at the what spectacular next year? Oh?

Speaker 3 (21:18):
The Ultimate? The Ultimate? Yes, yes, I will be there.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
So you got the USA and the Ultimate.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
Yes, I just know for sure that that's on the schedule,
that Ultimate Championships will be there. Because a meet with
the top twenty people in the world. Why would I
not want to be there? Why would I not want
to continue to well? Why I believe I'm the best.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
The best against the best.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
I like to see that I like to hear that
cordelle and ten meter hurdles world champion.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
That's him. Thanks for joining us, Man packer fan.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
Oh yeah, born and raised, born and raised.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Thank you, Bro. Appreciate you Jordan today, Come back and
see us again soon. Hey, anytime, appreciate you, Oh, Joe.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
Dylan Gabriel had a solid rookie debut despite the Browns losing.
Dylan Gabriel was nineteen of thirty three one hundred and
ninety yards two touchdowns, matching Joe Flacco touchdown throws on
the season. With the defeat, Brown's quarterbacks are oh and
seventeen in their first start since nineteen ninety five, the
longest such streak since nineteen fifty, when quarterback starts were

(22:27):
first recorded. O Jo, after watching him start early, after
watching his first start, what do you think about Gabriel?

Speaker 4 (22:34):
What right? Dylan Gabriel looked good. He looked really good.
And Sefanski Sefanci called one hell of a game, a
very balanced game. To run.

Speaker 6 (22:42):
The pass was damn near equivalent. Dylan Gabriel processing, dropping back,
going marid read one, read two, read three, Okay, it's
out there, Boom, I'm dumbing it off.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
To the flat. Everything he did in today's game was
extremely clean, extremely keen. Defense played well. They didn't get
to win. But what I saw from Dylan Gabriel, and
it pains me to say this as a Bengals fan,
is he looked efing phenomenal. He looked great.

Speaker 6 (23:12):
They really have something good to build off up when
it goes when it comes to the film room. Based
on whoever they play next week, he gonna be he
gonna he's gonna be fine. He's gonna be fine, especially
with the way he played and knowing Brian Flores and
that defense and knowing how he can dial up that
pressure and try to rattle a young quarterback.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
And he wasn't rattled at all. He handled everything extremely well.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
He did.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
I thought he played well.

Speaker 1 (23:38):
And like you said, considering that what he was, who
he was facing as the DC, and the kind of
exotic looks that Minnesota can throw at you and the
kind of pressure they can generate, I thought he played.
I thought he played really well. They did a great
job of getting the ball out of his hand. Knew
they were gonna try to put pressure on him, try
to disguise it. Judkins run the ball, ran the ball
extremely well. Twenty three carries a buck ten. So they

(23:59):
ran and the ball well enough so you just couldn't
pin your ears back and fly try to get the quarterback.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
I like what I saw. I really liked what I saw. Look,
Carson Wentz played well.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
This is why you get a veteran like Carson Wentz,
a guy that can hold the ship steady until your
captain comes back. He caught he called a ward getting sneaky.
You see him run a three step face. He run
a three step face. Go route on cover two and
see what you see what they ran. They ran what
the defense called it the yoga, what we call it
a stick and ward we're looking inside and saw the stick,

(24:32):
and he saw what you call him pull up. He
didn't realize he would throw the whole shot right behind him.
That was That was a heck of her throw. Addison
did a great job of staying wide because that saved you'
coming getting you a great job of staying white. Let
him pick a pin yourself to the sideline because if
you get too far inside, you kill shot. Great great

(24:56):
throw by Wentz, great route by Addison.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
But I like Gabriel. I like what I saw.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Look it's one game. But I thought, considering on the
road and overseas in London, Brian Flores can do a
lot of different things, and he confused a lot of quarterbacks.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
But I thought they did.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
I thought Cleveland did a great job putting Dylan Gabriel
in a situation where he could have success. They didn't
get the win, but if I'm Cleveland, I'm like, Okay,
I think we might have.

Speaker 6 (25:24):
Something without without the win, I'm feeling good about that.
I'm feeling good about that.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Defensively, they can always handle their business offensively. That's always
been the struggles. What offense are we gonna get? Now?

Speaker 6 (25:35):
Get this offense that we saw today where there was
a heavy dose of run, there was a heavy dose
of pass, and he made all the right decisions with
the ball and didn't put the ball in harm's way.

Speaker 4 (25:45):
We can live with that. Well, excuse me, now, they
can live with that. Yeah, he looked good, he looked
he looked really good today.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
And it's reported I guess Addison was bitched because I
don't know.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
I mean they talked about because I read the that
he played really well considering that he was bitch. Now,
I don't know the backdrop of the story. I don't
know if he did something while he was over there
in London. Maybe he missed bencheck, maybe he was late
to practice lake to a meeting or something, but he
was reported that he was go ahead.

Speaker 6 (26:14):
I think it might be a continuous, a continuous on
the suspension and them actually still having punishment for him
as well.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Why you never know.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
You never know, because if I'm not mistaken, I might
not be wrong. I think he set out with the
first quarter. I think he said that the first quarter
or something like that.

Speaker 6 (26:33):
Yeah, I think he might have had to sit out
the first quarter of the last game as well.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
I couldn't be wrong. I could be wrong. I'm not sure.
But when he did when he.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Was bitch because he wanted to explore London and missed
the walkthrough through, that is what is being reported. Oh Joe,
ain't nobody, Look, this ain't college. He came off suspension.
He was suspended for three games by the NFL. Aid
well why would why would why would I suspend him again?

Speaker 2 (27:03):
That hurts me?

Speaker 4 (27:05):
Yeah, hey, hey, al would you say he wondered what
he wanted to explore London? You can't do that, man,
You can't do.

Speaker 7 (27:16):
That, man, bro.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
The last thing I would want to do is be alone.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
Considering what happened to the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, the last
thing I want to be in a foreign country as
an American. I don't know if they noticed it, but
we're not thought of too high in other parts of
the world. It's just I'm just throwing that out there,
o Joe, We're not.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
We gotta understand over in London is a lot of
a lot of us over there, A lot of them,
a lot of them.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
So we're not thought of very highly in other parts
of the country. Be at London, be at Ireland, be
it anywhere you are an Americans. Americans right now are
not very hot thought of having a very regard I understand.
And there's a and they probably said, look, security, we

(28:04):
have security here. Just make sure X, Y and Z.

Speaker 2 (28:08):
Right. Hey, that's his Hey, he wanted to do it.
He did what he wanted to do. Ojo.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
Yeah, you're right. You can't do that.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
Today, though, Ojo. Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Seattle Seahawks.
Boy boy, boy, what a game Baker Mayfield and Sam
Donald Baker Mayfield twenty nine of thirty three three seventy nine,
two touchdowns, no interceptions. Sam Donald twenty eight to thirty

(28:44):
four three forty one, four touchdowns.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
But it was that last turnover he throwing. It looked
like he had a first.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
Look like it was gonna be a touchdown and his
the guy Helmet Levonte, if you wont if you want
to play well the NFL. Look at everybody that came
and talked to Old Joe and I. Darren Waller had
another touchdown. Leavonte David had a big time pick. Go
back and look at the guy that's talked to Henley

(29:11):
been balling.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Hey, everybody having success. Huh. Rashan Gary who Gary?

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Oh yeah yeah, Rashan Yeah yeah, Rashaan Garret.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
Yes, yeah you got damn they got five sacks.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
Yeah. We only in Week five.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
Yes, this was an unbelievable game. Thirty eight thirty five Tampa.
They scored fifteen points in they scored ten points in
the second quarter, fifteen points in the third quarter, ten
points in the fourth quarter. But it was the game
winning kick. They win thirty eight to thirty five.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
And it seemed like Tampa is always involved in games
like this. Old Shoe.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Remember at the Atlanta game, I mean all their games
have basically they won, have been three points less.

Speaker 4 (29:58):
Hold on, we got to talk about it. Make a
booka rookie booker.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Oh yeah, oh yea ya yah yea, yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
Abuokah was crazy Jackson Smith and Jigba like, hey, it's
the bailable house state.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Who better?

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Ibuka Mecca and Buka seven catches a buck sixty three
one tub Jackson Smith and Jigba js and eight catches
a buck thirty two. Another tub one had nine targets
eight catches. The other hell was seven for seven a
Mecca a booka was seven targets, seven receptions a buck
sixty three. I mean, these quarterbacks are throwing the ball

(30:35):
out like bro, did anybody bring their defense?

Speaker 2 (30:40):
That's all I want to do. Did anybody bring the defense?
Or is it or is it optional?

Speaker 4 (30:46):
I don't know, but I know one thing these young receivers.

Speaker 6 (30:49):
I know we all talk about the same top five
and after the season ends, if jsn Andy Buoka keep
up with what they doing, we're gonna have Or.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
They tried to. They tried to. They tried to crack that.
They tried to.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
They definitely tried to crack that top ten and he said, man,
were trying to get in the top five.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
What you're talking about, You're gonna have to have a conversation.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
Absolutely, and we're gonna have to have a conversation about
Baker Mayfield being an m VP discussion while you bullgiving.

Speaker 6 (31:15):
Absolutely absolutely now when it comes to the MVP discussion, also,
we're gonna need for Baker Mayfield Tapay Buccaneers to have
those wins that wine.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you have to keep going. He
definitely could be in that conversation.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Oh yeah, you know, I know right now that Josh
Allen was the favorite heading into tonight. Justin Herbert was
up there, but he lost. My homeboy always going to
be in the discussion that Da played Da Dacket throwing
the football like you said, But at the end of
the day, it's gonna come down to wins and losses. Yeah,

(31:49):
you can have stat it's a stat based awards, but
they want those stats to go towards winning.

Speaker 4 (31:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
Uh, and so when you look at it.

Speaker 3 (31:57):
It's uh, it was.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
It was. If it wouldn't just based on stats, Hell
Burrow would the one that god damn MVP last year
if it was stats, we didn't have.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
The ws Levonte David intercepted Sam Donald with less than
a midic left, setting up Chase mclaughlan's thirty nine yard
field goal to earn a thirty eight thirty five walk
off victory. The Buccaneers became the first team in NFL
history with four wins in their first five games of
a season in which they were either tied or were trailing.
In the final minute of regulation. Seattle, I mean, Seattle

(32:29):
played well. Man, I was like, well, damn Saata, y'all
got it like this, And then Baker like, I mean,
Baker had four incompletions.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
Yeah, that's crazy four.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
Sam Donald had six.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
So the ball hit So they threw sixty seven times
and the ball hit the dirt ten times. Joe, that's it,
I don't think. Do you know how insane? Well, let
me take that back. It hit the ball nine times
because one of them was intercepted.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
You can't understand how difficult it is.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
Yeah, hell yeah, it is.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
For for for two quarterbacks, first round picks Baker Mayfield,
Baker Manfield, Cleveland, Sam Donald, New York, And all of
a sudden you get to the right situation, and all
of a sudden you flourish.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Sam Donald was third in that draft.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Baker Mayfield was first, and Zach Wilson was second, and
then Sam Donald was third.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
It's amazing what happened when you when you when you
go to the right situation. Now, situations, situations.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Matter, for sure, absolutely it absolutely, it absolutely does matter.

Speaker 2 (33:34):
But this was this was a very very entertaining game.

Speaker 1 (33:38):
Oh Joe, I don't know, they don't learn, but I'm
gonna keep letting them do it, so they gonna learn
the hard way, because that's what life has a way
of teaching us until we learn the lesson that it's
trying to teach. And you know, guys still won't learn.
They want to drop the ball, they want to be awesome. Guy,
has a seventy yard touchdown cost them the game?

Speaker 4 (33:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Cost them? The game?

Speaker 4 (34:00):
Was that the Cardinals?

Speaker 2 (34:01):
Right?

Speaker 1 (34:01):
No, yes, yes, Arizona Cardinals just suffered perhaps the worst
wildest lost in the NFL history. They were up twenty
one to six in the fourth quarter, fumble crossing the
gold line that was gonna put them up twenty eight
to six. The fumble and an interception for a touchdown
because think this, oh yo, they had they got caused
to fumble, He fumble, kick the ball into the end zone.

(34:23):
They jump on to get a touchdown. So now it's
twenty one to twelve less than five minutes. Kyle after
the game, I really don't know what to think about that.
I don't even know how that's how the loser game
one on one. I don't know. It was crazy, it
was Arizona gave up a twenty one to three lead
to the worst team in football, became the first franchise
since nineteen seventy the NFL ALFL Merger to lose three

(34:44):
straight games on game winning field goals.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
But all you gotta do is look at.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
De Mercado, bro.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
Yes, you cost them the game.

Speaker 1 (34:59):
Basically, no, so so so the ball was just so
heavy you couldn't take it another two feet, Hume. The
ball was just so heavy, Oh Joe, he just had
to drop it. Oh Joe, you know how You're bringing
grocery in the you truck and I ain't trying to
make but one trip. So I'm trying to get all
the bags if I possibly can. I got ten bags,
I got five and five. If I got fifteen, I

(35:20):
got eight and seven. And you know, sometimes, Joe, you
get it here, Like I said, who you got a rest?
So the ball was that heavy that he just had
to sit it down before he got.

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Into the end zone.

Speaker 4 (35:30):
Why is it happening so much.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
Because Deshaun Jackson. You started his foolishness. He jack started
his foolishness.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
Yeah, well technically I started it.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 4 (35:43):
College I started there, Yeah, in college, but I left
the ref behind so far. He didin't even see it?

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Yeah you did? You did throw the ball back?

Speaker 4 (35:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:53):
I don't.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
I don't get it o yo. After and we've said,
oh yo, and we've seen it so many times.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
It just happened last year.

Speaker 1 (36:02):
We just talked about yes several times. But yeah, oh
oh yo. Remember the Colts the receiver.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
Oh yeah, yea yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
Oh not just last week, Yes, Amari di Mercado seventy
two yard tests down, he dropped the ball at the
gold line. Mitchell did the same thing against the Rams
last week. Oh jo, how many times? At what point
in time they didn't start?

Speaker 2 (36:30):
You know what?

Speaker 1 (36:30):
And somebody, the players are so good you just can't
cut them. But bro, why y'all keep doing this?

Speaker 2 (36:36):
Y'all? You make Sports Center for all the wrong.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
Reasons, reasons, Yeah, and that's messed up. That's messed up.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
Jane Daniels playing for the first time in two weeks
through for two.

Speaker 4 (36:50):
Hundred and thirty one and you were cooking back at home.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
Man, it's twenty seven to ten win over the Chargers
with thirty nine yards rushing. Today, Daniels became the first
player at the NFL history with four more four thousand
or more pass yards and a thousand or more rush yards.

Speaker 2 (37:07):
In his first twenty games.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
Justin Herbert was under the rest, sacked four times, took
nine quarterback hits, pressured twelve times before being replaced by
Trey Lance. Herbert averaged three point three yards per pass
attempt and through his only interception when pressured by the Commanders.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
Man, they got after Mojo.

Speaker 4 (37:28):
Yeah, Hey, they got af them good. They got after
them real good. And this is the definition of when
I always say, any given Sunday, anything could happen as
good as the Charges of looked since the beginning of
the season. Today they ain't look like themselves, not at all,
not at all. And you expect if you're a betman,
if you're betman. Jayden Danis is first game coming back

(37:49):
he's coming off injury. So hey, if I'm a betman,
I'm betting with the charges to win this one y
NLA two at that I'm gonna spoil Jayde Daniels coming
back to LA playing at home, and it absolutely did
not happen.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
It did not happen Jaye Daniels fifteen or twenty six
two thirty one one touchdowns. They ran the ball extremely well,
twenty eight rushes, one hundred and sixty three yards. DBO
got in on the action eight for ninety six and
a touchdown. Luke McCaffrey had a tremendous fifty yard catch
to set him up for a touchdown. Keenan Allen became

(38:25):
the fastest player in NFL history to collect one thousand catches.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
It took him one hundred and fifty nine games.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
Damn what hey they benditioned boy, that ball man a thousand?

Speaker 2 (38:41):
Huh a thousand? He got one thousand in one hundred
and fifty nine games.

Speaker 4 (38:45):
That's crazy. Yeah, how many catches you got.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
On eight fifteen thousand? I went one thousand.

Speaker 4 (39:00):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
Now it's gonna be routine.

Speaker 1 (39:02):
Now people are gonna think if you don't have a
thousand catches Now, people gonna thank you.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
We a bum. If you are receiver, you.

Speaker 4 (39:09):
Have to that. People have to also understand that the
game has changed.

Speaker 1 (39:12):
Yes, And that's why I say, if you don't have
a thousand catches now, it ain't like when when I
came in and you came in, it was extraordinary, got
like a thousand?

Speaker 2 (39:21):
Yeah, well I remember when Jerry had like a thousand.

Speaker 4 (39:24):
Damn that's and.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
Then you know, so now, I mean you probably got
what you probably got. How many guys got a thousand catches?
At least twelve many, maybe more, maybe more? Right, Chris Carter,
Tim Brown, t o Jerry fifteen? Yeah, heines Hines Ward's

(39:51):
got a thousand, You got tight Ends, you got Kelsey,
you got Gonzo, right, I think got a thound, got
a thous last fitz Gerald has a thousand.

Speaker 4 (40:04):
Hey man, but the boy was getting that rock boy?

Speaker 2 (40:07):
Hey, well, how many? How many I got?

Speaker 1 (40:13):
D Hop has nine eighty nine, He'll get a thousand
this year. Jesus Christ Davonte got.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
Nine seventy nine. What I got?

Speaker 4 (40:23):
What I got? I need to come back and play.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
You got seven sixty six, that's it?

Speaker 4 (40:33):
Yeah, I was sorry as hell, Damn.

Speaker 2 (40:38):
I think what I think. When I retired, I was
in the top tien.

Speaker 4 (40:42):
It dropped now.

Speaker 1 (40:45):
Jared Rice leaves the Way fifteen hundred and forty nine,
Laugh fitz Gerald fourteen thirty two, Tony Gunzalees thirteen twenty five,
Jason Whitten twelve twenty eight, Marvin Harrison eleven oh two,
Chris Carter eleven oh one, Tim Brown one thousand, ninety four,
t O one thousand, seventy eight and Kwan one thousand,
seventy six, Reggie Wayne one thousand and seventy, Andre Johnson

(41:09):
one thousand and sixty two, Steve Smith one thousand and
thirty one, Isaac Bruce one thy twenty four, Travis Kelce
one thousand, nineteen, Hines Ward has a thousand, and Keenan
Allen just a thousand.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
So what year this for? What year this for? Keenan?
You're eleven twelve, You're thirteen.

Speaker 4 (41:42):
Boy boy, willing and dealing boy.

Speaker 1 (41:46):
I'm thirty ninth ought yo, that's dope, dope. And when
I left in the top ten, so I ain't in
top ten no more?

Speaker 4 (41:55):
Hey, listen.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
The Raiders were handed a forty six forty six drubbing
by the coach and Lucas Oil. Jonathan Taylor ran for
three touchdowns and a two part conversion Indiana Jones Daniel
Indiana Jones threw for two touchdowns while playing another turnover
free game, and the Indianapolis coach remained perfect at home.

(42:17):
The Raiders are one and four were start to Pete Carroll, coach,
head coaching career. I'm processing it poorly to tell you
the truth because I didn't expect.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
I did expect to win win right out of the shoots.

Speaker 4 (42:31):
Well, I mean it's I mean, are you supposed to
say something like that as a head coach? Is that
supposed to be everything? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (42:38):
I mean I think, I mean, ask ask Sean McDermott.
Did he think he was gonna win?

Speaker 2 (42:44):
Hell?

Speaker 1 (42:44):
Their coach that they gonna win? But how you gonna
win when your quarterback have three turnovers? I mean, uh,
Gino didn't play good today. He had to excuse me.
He had two turnovers, two picks bad. Indiana Jones twenty
or twenty nine to twelve, two touchdowns relieved by Anthony Richardson.

(43:05):
Jonathan Taylor seventeen carries, sixty six yards, three touchdowns. I
mean the Raiders aren't good enough to overcome the mistakes
that you know, no, no, no, no, not You're not that,
you're not. They're not good enough, not at all.

Speaker 4 (43:21):
Maybe if maybe one, two, maybe three teams that are
good enough to overcome multiple multiple Kana City Chiefs are
one of them, The Bills are another one, and maybe
Lamar Jackson when their team is at full health, at
full strength.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
But we saw, we saw the Bills not able to
overcome turnover the night. It all depends on who you playing.
You're playing a good team, you ain't overcoming.

Speaker 4 (43:46):
Over absolutely not, absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (43:49):
And now what happens is when you turn the ball over,
one or two things happen. You either bring the team
up to your level or you take go down to their.

Speaker 4 (43:57):
Level one or the other. Yeah, oh you know what,
let me throw the Lions in that conversation as well.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
Yeah and so h but the Lions.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
I think Indiana is getting everything that Look, it's five
games into the season, But I don't think the season
could have gone any better other than the untimely passing
up their owner, Jim Irsay. I don't think the season
could have gone any better for this ball club. Bout yo,
I mean Daniel Jones has giving them everything that they
they could have hoped for it more so, they only

(44:31):
had to throw it twenty nine times, which is not
a lot. Twenty nine twenty five rushes. So I think
I think the season is going unbelievably well. Yeah, for
the for the uh, the Indianapolis.

Speaker 4 (44:46):
Coach, it's Daniel Jones. Listen, as much as I said
about him, I got, I gotta take all that back.
I gotta take anything anything negative I said about Daniel Jones.
Maybe maybe maybe this is a Giants and you don't
want to say maybe it is the Giants, because goddamn
Jackson Dark, even though they lost the day, he cutting up.

(45:08):
He's cutting up so easy.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
Well, let's get to that game.

Speaker 1 (45:11):
As you mentioned that, the Saints get their first win
over mistake prone Giants. Giants rookie Jackson Dark pass for
two touches, two hundred and two yards and two touchdowns,
but turned the ball over three times. Even scat Pack
had a turnover. They had They had five total turnovers
and they lost three fumbles. Darius Slade lost the fumble,
Jackson Dark lost lost the fumble, and scat Pack.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
Lost the fumble.

Speaker 1 (45:35):
Three turnovers, five turnovers Spencer Radler twenty one to thirty one,
two twenty five and a touchdown. Shaheed had four catches,
fourteen of the touchdown, including an eighty seven yarder. Joe,
the Giants were in cruise control and then they started
turning the ball over. They turned the ball over like
four knsecutive possessions and this is what you get.

Speaker 4 (45:57):
Absolutely rashi he rashik Shaheed. You know, I got a
nice little tweet, you say, and you need to fix
my speed.

Speaker 2 (46:02):
On maddenh He can run for real.

Speaker 4 (46:07):
Yeah he can go now, he can Scat, he can go. Yeah.
That was that was a good game on the side.

Speaker 1 (46:17):
And I know Jackson Dark wanted to you know, he
wanted to play well, but he was playing well and
then he just started turning the ball over and that
thumble really hurt them. Scat pack fumber the ball and
the guy runs at back eighty seven yard for the
touchdown and they level look back after that. The Carolina
Panthers overcame, ooh, that's what you ought to be ashamed

(46:39):
of yourself, O Joe.

Speaker 4 (46:40):
Oh we talked about this game already.

Speaker 2 (46:42):
No, we're talking about it.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
Carolina Panthers overcame a seventeen point first half deficit to
beat your Miami Dolphins twenty seven to twenty four.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
We need a little help.

Speaker 1 (46:54):
Two up two fifty six, three touchdowns, clean game. But
jay Lenwada has six four bucks ten. Darren Waller had
five for seventy eight in the touchdown. Devon e Chaan
had six for thirty and a touchdown. Bryce Young nineteen
or thirty one ninety eight two touchdowns, but it was

(47:17):
Rico dot Dll not deal twenty three carries two o six.
He's the third panth of to go over two hundy yards.
Russian thirty two rushers two hundred and thirty nine yards.
They play, if I'm not mistaken, they play the Cowboys
next week? Right, don't Carolina play the Cowboys next week?

Speaker 4 (47:37):
Already?

Speaker 3 (47:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (47:38):
He said I'm gonna get out and say I want
all that. He want all that?

Speaker 6 (47:43):
So, hey, all right, my Dolphins, My Dolphins be gonna
be alright. Uh, Dolphins gonna be alright.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
No, y'all not. I don't know why you keep saying that,
but y'all not gonna be alright?

Speaker 4 (47:54):
Can I tell you something? Yeah, the Dolphins is in
a better position than the rapis. You know, that right.

Speaker 1 (48:00):
Uh yeah, but that I just I'm hoping you understand
what you mean. Better position, a better position going forward.
One't about to get eaten by crocodile, the other about
getting eaten by shark.

Speaker 4 (48:18):
You think so yeah, you say you sound you sound
real confident.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
I mean the Broncos. Time for our final segment, but
evening it's time for Q and A.

Speaker 4 (48:34):
Hey, I know Lions stands him. Yeah, love, y'all, I'm
sorry who they? Uh?

Speaker 2 (48:46):
Kemper Norwood Jr.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
Said, Oh, Cho, I'm sorry your Bengals lost, but it's
an eighty four and eighty five for life and Oho,
you'll always be my favorite Bengal players. Let's go Broncos.
That's what I'm talking about, Kemper, That's what I'm talking about.
Gold standard. Lyn Gabriel will make a great starting quarterback
for Cleveland. I hope you're right, man. Cleveland fans deserve that.
Timothy Humpher said, I know I'm gonna but mad about

(49:09):
Broncos win. Too bad. The Ravens will miss the playoffs
this season. Uh, Timmy, I'm assuming you're a Bengals fan
and y'all will too. Aaron Jones said the Broncos. It's okay.
We've been playing terrible football still four and one. No
team has won every game since nineteen seventy two. We'll
fix it, bro Now, we don't won super bowls as
a matter of fact, did you realize that the Broncos

(49:31):
won more Super Bowl than the Eagles? But that's don't
even worry about it. Jason Zeldom said, Oh Joe, Bingos
are so bad not even playoffs from reverends up can
help them. Nope, prayers, I can't even help him, o Jo,
I can't help them. Oh till need to put a
paper bag over his head until like the other bigals,
whoa whoa we number to in the division?

Speaker 2 (49:51):
So down, Oh Joe, that's what y'all used to do,
so down.

Speaker 4 (49:54):
Yeah, that's when we were. We were extremely bad. We're
not that bad anymore.

Speaker 2 (49:58):
Y'all about to be extremely bad again.

Speaker 4 (50:00):
We're not the laughing stock of the league like we
once were.

Speaker 2 (50:04):
Uh that's debatable.

Speaker 1 (50:08):
Uh. Bavin Portail said, Oh Joe, how about brother Brownie
laughing emojic?

Speaker 2 (50:14):
Trash can trash.

Speaker 4 (50:18):
All right, Hey, it's not it's not. Where's the sportsmanship?
Where's the sportsmanship? Where's the sportsmanship, it's very high. It's
very difficult to play the quarterback position in the NFL.
It's very, very difficult. How do you feel this, Borrow?
How do you feelish Joe Burrow? Think about it?

Speaker 1 (50:38):
Can I ask you a question? Talk to me when
you first how when you first started playing football?

Speaker 2 (50:43):
I was you four? He asked you what position you
want to play? What you say?

Speaker 4 (50:49):
I wanted to play quarterback?

Speaker 2 (50:51):
Okay, you went to the.

Speaker 1 (50:51):
Quarterback lineup, and as you got older, to ask you
what position you want to play? Where did you go?

Speaker 4 (50:56):
Receiver?

Speaker 2 (50:57):
Exactly?

Speaker 1 (50:58):
So if Jake Grinning want that criticism, he shouldn't have
took his lass to the quarterback line. Thank you, I'm
glad you said that. Christmas, he Amas Juliet said, massive
win for the Patriots. We just got to clean up
some damn penalties.

Speaker 2 (51:11):
Though.

Speaker 1 (51:11):
If we can play clean all around, we can compete
with anyone one thing. Look, the one thing you know
about Rabel his teams are tough, the physical. When he
was in Tennessee and he got decent quarterback play, bro
I think he went to the AFC Championship game with
Ryan Tannehill. That tells you something. So you give him

(51:32):
a decent quarterback. His team is gonna be physical on
both sides of the football, and he can flat our coach,
he can coach. You know what I want to see.
I want to see the Patriots and the Lions play,
and then the coaches got to go to and then
the coaches got to go to midfield slug it out.

(51:58):
But those two guys I like to play for, they
get you ready.

Speaker 2 (52:00):
You can tell. They get you fired up on you.
They get you ready to play.

Speaker 4 (52:03):
Absolutely, we had facts.

Speaker 1 (52:06):
I had to watch this mask alive and O Joe's
jersey surrounded by Lions fans as a raven hm mm
hm hmmm true and them from a seventy three Bengals
got bta Dauphin. Let the Panthers come back and win.
Not a good Sunday for you, Ojo, It was not
great Sunday for me. Pierro Predo, Oh what about the Ravens,

(52:28):
Go Texans?

Speaker 4 (52:29):
Thank you somebody. It was a good Sunday for you.
How's a good Sunday for you? And your Ravens got.

Speaker 1 (52:32):
Spanked cause we be the undefeated team. Put put foot
center if they.

Speaker 4 (52:38):
Built it, hold on. Now you just focused on one
team that that, that's that's funny. That that's funny how
that worked.

Speaker 2 (52:44):
Right ahead, bro All, I'm doing a straight ahead. You
got selected Bronco Country.

Speaker 4 (52:49):
You was hyping the Ravens up just two weeks ago.

Speaker 2 (52:51):
Bronco Country.

Speaker 4 (52:53):
Okay, let's keep it Bronco Country the rest of the season.
Don't even mention the Ravens.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
I'm gonna mention the Ravens when Lamar get back. J
JJ Carver said, even my Saints one today?

Speaker 2 (53:05):
Who that not?

Speaker 5 (53:06):
Who?

Speaker 2 (53:07):
They true?

Speaker 5 (53:08):
That?

Speaker 1 (53:09):
In just one week, Alexa Technology be whipping on saying, yeah, man,
that thing the computer don't be want to do right Man,
I need something I can speak and it just change.
I need something voice activated computer. Brian In said, let's
go Lions. Oh you don't worry. Every dog has their day.
They not having any more days. Brian, Uh, that day

(53:29):
just not next year. My new struggled a little bit,
not too bad for his first start at left tackle
on the KC take off plus five rushing yards.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
Old on the Lions player chs.

Speaker 4 (53:48):
The gotta be a primetime game.

Speaker 2 (53:54):
Shadow eight ten.

Speaker 1 (53:55):
Hey oh Joe, Hey, huh wow in Kansas City or
Troit Wow, Hey o Jo Hey, Chad, Hey sinko, saying
with me, who that h when dy whin they gona
win another game?

Speaker 4 (54:09):
Don't do that. Don't do that because I bet his
team didn't even win the day.

Speaker 1 (54:16):
Uh one, try that like hurts, ain't do nothing. Hirst

Patel, wearing the Bengals, Oh cho jersey with no draws on, said,
oh Joe you oh yo wearing the Bengals. Oh he
wearing the Bengals jersey. Come on, bro, we don't need
to know that. Keep that to yourself, Mike, Mike, don't
worry o Jo. Your bingers are having a rough time,
but at least your patriots are looking good. You should
start ripping them more. No, he said, he ain't claimbing

(55:10):
the Patriots. No, no, no, We're not going to do that.

Speaker 4 (55:13):
Hey. Me being at the Patriots like you being at
the Ravens gold up the honeymoon. That's all it was.
It was. It was a honeymoon. That's it.

Speaker 2 (55:24):
Oh Joe, I won a Super Bowl. I went to
a Pro Bowl.

Speaker 4 (55:28):
You weren't there long enough. You weren't there long enough.
I don't care what I won.

Speaker 2 (55:34):
Five I won five playoff games for them. No, I'm
king rep. Oh yo, rep Patriots before I wrote you up?

Speaker 1 (55:46):
Should saund black Ocho doesn't claim the Patriots, but the
fans claim him. His team got a huge win over
the bells unk Ravens. Can't say that or anything right now,
go past. What about the Broncos? Sam, what about the
bron goals? This Bronco country?

Speaker 4 (56:04):
And watch watch what the watch what the fans do
to y'all? Y'all play Dolphins next?

Speaker 2 (56:07):
Right? Nah?

Speaker 1 (56:09):
I don't think. I don't think we play y'all next.
You just said that, man, we'll sacked to it like
fifty times we played the Jets next. Oh yeah, thats
gonna be gonna be in London. That gonna be they
play the Jets in London. They need to call me
to get me that trip Flay said. They said the

(56:30):
Bengals are signing Boobie Miles and air bud Ojo Eduardo Morillo.
Uh what do you honestly believe the Raiders need to
be successful or just even relevant? Hey, you gotta get

(56:51):
consistent quarterback? Played without that? You not winning now? They
were out, they were out without the tight end today.

Speaker 4 (56:59):
But Brocers heard his need. Yeah Brocers, brother Bowers.

Speaker 1 (57:08):
Rock Bowers, Yeah, yes, but I mean you look, you're
not gonna be able to turn They're not good enough
to turn the ball over and be over overcome that adversity.

Speaker 4 (57:18):
They're not there yet, absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (57:21):
Uh Dn Street said, bro You say Bengals did is trash,
but yet got how many three and outs versus the
top ranked Lions offense?

Speaker 2 (57:30):
When Jake throws a pick?

Speaker 1 (57:32):
Who they when the last time the Broncos went to
the Super Bowl AFC Championship game, they ain't.

Speaker 4 (57:38):
Even brow I think if I'm not.

for the last time, what would it be?

Speaker 2 (59:48):
Nothing. I have no desire to.

Speaker 4 (59:51):
Cook peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Heat them up in
the microwave twelve seconds, and squish them down when they
come out.

Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
Oh cha can't cook either.

Speaker 1 (01:00:02):
If the Coats go thirteen and four and Daniel Jones
win and finishing in the MVP run Caddy hit the
Coats over the head in fregency, he absolutely will hip
them over the head. In free agency, he's a free agent.
He signed a one year deal.

Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
Hey, he just like y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:00:17):
Remember how he did the Giants. He had that one
good season and did a get him up. Had had
the biggest small song playing in the background, Give me
the loop, give me the loot. Yeah, goodness, gracious, the Capers,
what that's what he about to do?

Speaker 2 (01:00:31):
To the coach. He goes thirteen and four.

intentional grounding on a bowl knicks and the receiver was
standing right there. Don't do that. You're lost. Oh if
I'm a j Brown, don't come talk to me about
