Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for ninas. What's trending?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Pumpkin spice has some competition because there's a new coffee
drink that has pumpkin coming for it, but it's a
different kind of pumpkin, and some people hate it. I
know it's kind of confusing, but it will all become
clear when I explain the pumpkin coming up in just
a moment. But first, still on topic, there are also
some people that want to add an extra day to Halloween.
So you know, we've talked about Summer Ween. Like, clearly,

(00:23):
people love Halloween so much they want it to happen
all the time. So during Summer Weeen, people were decorating
their homes, and now people are asking for an extra
day so we can have adulta Ween, a day dedicated
only to adults who choose to celebrate Halloween. Even if
these adults have kids, they feel like, okay, well on Halloween,
I'm doing the trick or treating with my kids. I'm
not going and doing things that I want to do,

(00:43):
like wear my sexy little outfit and go eat the
candy without my children at my ankles. They want adulta
Ween for adults only, But then what do you do
with your kids, get a babysitter.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Why can't you just do it on Halloween, have them
go do all that with them.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Yeah, you probably want to be there with your kids
when they go trick or treating. You know, a commercial
or after.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
That is overrated, right, you've done on like, just hire
someone else to do it, wait to take them trigger treating? Yeah,
all those times.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
You know.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
It's like, hey, man, like we had the elementary school
graduation as well, Like there's gonna be a high school
one and then maybe the collegeroom. But we can just
have the nanny go there. Oh you just you experienced
the first thing and then after that you just.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Have the nanny go. Okay, maybe until like middle school,
but I feel like all through elementary school you should
be present.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
Okay, But also, who said Halloween was only one day?

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Halloween is like two weekends for you. It's like the parties,
Like the two weekends that surround Halloween is when you
go out you do things. So adults, you can have
one weekend where you get with your kids courts the
day and then have the rest of weekend.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
But they wanted to have a name, so it's an
actual holiday called adult owen.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
It's called Halloween.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
It just they wanted to actually have it to be
its own day.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Yeah, So I don't know if that's just selfish or
it's like a make it about me things that's making
it out. That's Meridith great pig me.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
We have two weekends for Halloween. It's just called.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Halloween, right, and you're an adult, we have our own holiday.
It's tax Day. That's what being adult is all about,
you know.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Yeah, you get to pay your taxes and if you're lucky,
you get a tax holiday.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
If you're not, I hate that holiday.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Well you can take it however you'd like. But pumpkins
are no matter what, definitely a big part of the celebration.
So pumpkin spice is great, Starbucks is great. But now
people are going to Starbucks with a little mini pumpkin
and they're asking the barisas to fill it with their coffee.
So the Starbucks rule is that you can show up
with like your cup from home and they'll feel it
and they'll fill it for you either. They are also

(02:34):
trying to be good for the environment, so it's going
to make so much it's encouraged to bring your own cup.
But so now on TikTok, there's all these people that
are bringing many pumpkins that they had carved out into
Starbucks and they're like, here, can you please put my
like cappuccino in a pumpkin? And it's funny because some
of the baristas have seen the trend and they're like, this
is cool. I can be in it too, and they
take pictures of themselves. But then there's other baristas that

(02:56):
are like, no, I'm not filling up your pumpkin.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Wait, why does it hurt to put I feel like.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
I would do it too. It's like, if you really
want it, okay, I like, it's really hurts no one.
I think it's annoying for the people that are in
line because it takes a little bit longer just for
them to process the fact that somebody else to put
coffee again. But I'm not saying I wouldn't try it.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I want to try it.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
I know same. We should all show up with her
a little bub geez, And that's what's trending.
