Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's what's trending. Allegedly, leggings are dead.
According to gen Z, they've killed them. They said, no,
this is not a fashion statement anymore. Instead of wearing
leggings or like yoga pants, they're now opting for baggy sweats.
I mean, I like baggy sweatpants too. Joggers are cute, yeah,
but I don't enjoy working out in those. But it's

(00:20):
too much material. We're kid Noolo's dose. Why can't you
wear both of them?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I underneath your sweats? Yeah, that's hot, literally, like, I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Sometimes we do do that, though we'll have our little
biker shorts underneath of it, so you're layered up. Is
this call in this studio? Yes, But this type of
a headline and this type of a story makes you
think of a bigger question, like who is the person
that is calling this? At what point do we decide
that something becomes so popular, especially with fashion, I mean
you're looking at everything that once was old is new again,

(00:53):
and then one person goes on TikTok and decides to
say that this is what I wear, and we just
all follow like it's weird. You can just kill off leggings,
like I doubt it. No, you can say you're gonna
kill off leggings, but let me tell you right now,
I'm gonna be wearing my leggings tomorrow exactly. Everybody's gonna
keep wearing their leggings, you know what. Else, I'm a
real rebel. I still wear skinny jeans sometimes.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So it's like I don't I don't understand.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yeah, I don't know who decides who's the trendsetters. But
it's like, like where what you want?

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah, not to quote my mom again, but it was
always dressed for your body, you know, especially if you're
like going up and down and the way you're living
different like ways in life, and it's just dressed for
your body, dressed for what compliments you. Yeah, your style.
Antinina is gonna shut it, but I have this time.
This is really interesting. Are you guys fans of Stranger Things? Yes,

(01:40):
even if you're not, you know how big it is.
And it's had like the different pop ups all over
the country. Well, the creators are the Duffer brothers, Matt
and Ross. They are now leaving Netflix. What they're doing
is their ultimate mic drop on Netflix is here's the
last season of Stranger Things. Bye. Really, they're jumping ship
and they're going over to Paramount. So if you don't
have Paramount subscription, you probably want to get one.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Paramo must have given him a lot of money.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
That's what I was thinking too. I was like, how
much could they give you? Because Netflix is not broke, no,
and Paramount is trying to grow. But if you think
about it, Paramount also has Taylor sharedan with them. So
between those two people that's shown and they are paying,
and he's the guy that's responsible for Yellowstone Lions and all.
That's a lot of land.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Man.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Yes, oh that's so good too. That's race. I almost
said prescription instead of subscription. And sometimes that is what
life has for. But that is what's trending.
