Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's what's trending?

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Get ready for a whole new generation of oiled up
men and women running around in red bathing suits.

Speaker 1 (00:07):
No, thank you, Fox is bringing back Baywatch. Wait, like,
didn't they try making a TV show? Is it a
show or a movie?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
This one is going to be a TV show that
is going to be coming out in the twenty twenty
six twenty twenty seven season. They did do a movie
that was the one with zac Efron and the Rock.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
And Alexandra did Daria I think it's her name.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
I don't remember, but that happened. So now this time
they're like, you know, let's just do this again. Let's
just keep it going and like have people be obsessed
with the red bathing suits. You know.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
The interesting part though, is if you think.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Back to like when the show was at its peak,
But was it an original? Was it originally a show
or a movie? Yeah, David Hasselhoff, it was a show.
Oh and then also like Pamela Anderson became really famous
from that show. I thought it was originally a movie,
which is why they made like a remake of the movie.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
No, oh, interesting, originally a show show?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
But it was like the early nineties and so, like,
I don't know, there was a different emphasis on bodies.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
I think we were always a pre shading good bodies.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
But I just wonder if they're going to still love
the idea of people being obsessed with perfection?

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Does that make sense?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Yeah, because I feel like we're starting to lean back
in that direction again, Like we have this whole positivity
a body positivity movement going on for a while, which
I hope we still have, like don't let that go away,
But that also kind of feels like there's we're leaning
back in towards like idolizing things that you don't necessarily
feel attainable, do you know what I'm saying. Yeah, But
a lot of times they like train and stuff for

(01:28):
those shows or movies, like they are on strict diets
for like months. I mean, they have personal trainers and
they're working hard, and they definitely earned those bodies, but.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Then they break it right after. So it's like it's
not something that you could really kind of like sustainable.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
I am not trying to be a hater, but if
you have seen any of those actresses that were on
the show the first time.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
Around and what they look like now, it's very different.
It is very different.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Speaking of nostalgia, do you guys remember toys r Us, Yes,
I love that. Okay, So toys are us. You can't
hold them down. They're coming back.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
They are expanding their brick and mortar comeback by doubling
the number of stores they currently have in the US. Okay,
and so they're going to have about ten new flagship
stores in twenty season holiday pop up shops by the
end of the year.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
I don't know if that's the way to do it.
I just hopefully still have Jeffrey.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
You know, Jeffrey the Giraffe, Right, Jeffrey the Giraffe is
not I was thinking of.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
That would be a terrible mascot for toys r us
if if I think you're thinking the same thing, I don't.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Know what you guys are talking about. I'm talking about
a giraffe. And lastly, cancel.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Good I was like that before, what a toy? I
don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Better, just think of Jeffries that you know, I don't
really know anything you've heard of.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, famous Jeffries. Oh that's you said that. I was
like a toy, the one with the files. Yeah, okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
And lastly, Google is finally announced what we've been searching
the most. It is that time of year where everybody
is searching for a banana bread and matza ball soup.
I love banana and specifically skinny banana bread. So if
you're wondering if it's falls, it's fault because you want.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
To eat the banana bread but you don't want.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
To feel like crap after. I too have been looking
for that. I know I love the skinny banana bread.
Going back to what I was just talking about in
the very beginning. Anyway, it's cool, we're all here. Love yourself,
that's what's trending.
