Bernie Sanders Hit the Coachella Stage—and No, That’s Not a Typo
In a totally unexpected twist, Senator Bernie Sanders took the stage at Coachella this weekend—not to sing, but to introduce Clairo’s set and drop some serious wisdom.
“This country faces some very difficult challenges,” Sanders told the crowd. “The future of what happens to America is dependent upon your generation.”
He wasn’t alone in making headlines. Other wild moments from weekend one included:
Lady Gaga pulling out a show-stopping set
Benson Boone bringing out Queen legend Brian May
And yes, Weird Al Yankovic made his Coachella debut—during Yo Gabba Gabba’s set, no less.
So yeah… Coachella 2025 is already doing the most.

Can't Hear at the Bar? Try Tapping Your Finger
If you've ever been in a bar so loud that you start nodding and laughing at random just to survive the convo—you’re not alone. But science says there may be a fix: tap your finger.
Researchers in France found that when participants lightly tapped their finger while listening in noisy environments, they could understand speech more clearly. Why?
Experts think the brain’s motor and auditory regions might be weirdly connected, so the rhythmic motion helps your brain filter sound better.
It sounds bizarre, but next time you’re yelling “WHAT?!” for the fourth time at a bar, it might be worth a try.
