Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for Nina's what's trending.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Be an influencer is a dream of yours. Then MAC
is trying to help you out with their new os update.
So they're actually specifically doing things for their updates now
to help you look better in your videos. And I'm
going to tell you it's coming so you can get
excited about it. But first, this is really interesting because
as we go into the new year, we're starting to
go into awards season, right, So the Academy of Motion Pictures,
Arts and Sciences wants Oscar voters to confirm that they've

(00:25):
watched all the movies before they vote.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Well, yeah, isn't that Why not make them do that?
That was kind of the first thing that came into
my head too.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I was like, wait a minute, So you're letting these
people vote on stuff.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
You're just adding to the theory that everything's rich. I mean, yeah,
they're voting for their friends.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Right, or like, well this person really deserves it, so
let's do it that way.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
The trailer, Yeah, yeah, it's basically what they're doing.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
They said that they've been on this honor system for
a while and members didn't have to like save tickets
or receipts or anything.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
But now moving forward, they have to actually watch them.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
But they do send you the DV like if you're
part of the union or whatever, they send you all
that stuff, so you have to watch it. But yike,
I know that's a new thing to prove. Speaking of
video content, that's exactly what Mac is trying to help
you look better doing so content creators.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Apple is definitely capitalizing on this.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
But the whole new OS update is going to be
that it's going to operate as your very own ring light.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
So that's it is kind of cool.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
So especially for like zoom meetings or like face times
or something long distance relationships, if you want to look better,
you hit that lighting.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Lighting is everything.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Well, I thought about it immediately because I was doing
long distance for a while. Not I mean this is
a while ago, but so we would, you know, talk
at night and I'd always have to like sit in
my computer around and make the lighting all perfect. And
I was like, if only I could look like a
model every single time, it would be so much more appealing.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I don't care about the influencer stuff, but make me
look right in the right lighting. Either way, whenever you update,
get ready to look hot. That is which is trending
